(00:47):
Good morning, welcome to the show. How are you? I'm
hanging in there. Thanks for helping me out today. Yeah,
So what's going on with this woman? Amy? How did
you meet? Tell us about any dates you've been on
and then where things are now? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (00:56):
We met through the dating apps, and after you know,
talking to each other through that, we arranged to go
out on a date.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
It was a few weeks ago.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
We're both pretty busy and travel for work and all that,
so we had to find something to kind of work
for our schedules. And normally I would put in a
little more effort, but I really just wanted to meet
her and see if this would work, and so I
bought her flowers. Total gentleman the whole time, and we
were I felt like it was like going great. After

(01:26):
a couple of drinks, she just said she had to
get going, and then I never heard from her, no calls, texts, replies.
I didn't really overtext too much because once you don't
hear back, you know, but like a couple of times
and then it's just nothing.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Wow, look at this guy flowers on the first day.
That's very sweet. Is that very nice? How often does
that happen anymore? I wonder? Probably not a lot, right, Yeah?
I mean, and here he says he wanted to meet her,
so he didn't really plan much of a day because
he just wanted to get to and he was so
excited at me. There's what a sweet kuyd this is
Come on out, Alexander, How can this will when I

(02:02):
call you back? I don't know, I don't know. I
was gonna say this usually a reason nonetheless, so is honestly,
so far, so good? Like it seems like you put
in some effort and you wanted to meet her. You
were excited about her, the flowers and you say you
were a gentleman and the whole thing. But for whatever reason,
since to date you have not heard from her, she
hasn't responded to you. It would appear that you're being ghosted,

(02:23):
and you want to know why, right exactly? All right, Well,
let's call Amy in just a second. We'll play one song,
we'll come back, we'll do it. You'll be on the
phone at some point. You're welcome to jump in on
the call. And the hope is always is that we
can straighten this out and set you guys up on
another date and pay for that. Sound good? This sounds great, Alexander. Yeah,
let's call Amy. You guys met on a dating app
and you were super excited to meet her. You just

(02:43):
described so. You you planned a date, kind of quickly,
got her some flowers, You went for drinks. You thought
the drinks went really well. But you have called and
texted and all these things since the date and she's
not responding to you at all, And you want to
know how did we go from what you thought was,
you know, kind of a thought full, gentlemanly date to
now nothing.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Yeah, I'm just kind of scratching my head here, so
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
All right, Well, let's call Amy now, good luck Alexander.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Hello?

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Hi? Is this Amy?

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Yeah? This is Shape.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Hi Amy, good morning. My name is Fred. I'm calling
from the Fred Show, the morning radio show. I have
to tell you the whole careers here we are on
the radio, and I would need your permission to continue
with the call. Can wech that for just a second?

Speaker 3 (03:30):
I read you, guys, I'm really on the way out
the door.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Okay, Well you can just really quickly though. I'll just
get to it and you can hang up if you'd
like to. But a guy named Alexander reached out to us.
He says that he'd met you on a dating app
and you, guys recently went out. Do you remember meeting him?

Speaker 3 (03:45):
I do, Yeah, I do.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Okay, So what happened with this guy? Because we just
talked to him and he said he liked you a lot,
was excited about you, excited to meet you, and he
thought that the date would really well between you two.
Says he got you flowers and felt like he was
a gentleman. But he hasn't heard from you since then,
and so he reached out to us and he was
hoping we could help him. So what's going on? Why
haven't you called this guy?

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Okay? You know, you know, you're you know, you're right.
He's a nice guy, right, I.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
Mean, he's he's also he's a lot of really good things.
And but honestly, you guys, he just tried way too
hard with the flowers.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
That was too much.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Yeah, well, it was like, yeah, he flowers. It was
kind of weird, how hot, like how hard he was trying.
It's like that little kid is like.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
See you know the type of thing when you're you know,
and so he was a little aggressive about then aggressed
by that.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
And I wasn't entirely turned off, honestly, it was. It
was kind of nice.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
But then you know, we're sitting down and for dinner
and he pulls something out.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Of his bag and he hands it to me.

Speaker 5 (04:57):
And it's like this dog is like this stuffed dog,
and then I get I'm like, oh, because I had
mentioned one time that I wanted to like rescue a
dog and to call it, you know people that foster dogs, Yeah,
a dog fosterer, And so I want to.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
Be a dog fosterer.

Speaker 6 (05:14):
Yeah, I did during dinner and like in passing, I
thought that would be really great to have a dog,
you know, and especially a disabled dog and take it in.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
So she pulls out this stuffed dog and.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
My stuffed dog, Like are we talking taxidermy stuff? Look up?
What are we talking? Like a clear we're talking about
stuffed animal here, not a.

Speaker 7 (05:39):
Taxi for me?

Speaker 3 (05:40):
Like like you know, dum makes no or wasn't anything?

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Like I get, like a stuffed animal dog that he
got for you because you'd mentioned that you wanted to do. Okay,
well that's sweet, Yes, that was kind of sweet.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
And then I'm looking at it and like he had
like cut off a leg of the can't he say?

Speaker 3 (05:56):
It was a straight face?

Speaker 5 (05:57):
You guys, He cut off.

Speaker 4 (05:59):
A leg and he showed it back up to make
the dog look disabled, do you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Like, oh, I see, so he so he was a
three legged dog doll that he gave you because okay,
I got oh wow, like a dog.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
So he made me one.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
You know, I mean you wanted to talk to disabled
dog and he I mean he didn't just give her
any stuffed animal. He gave her one that.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
He creepy, creepy.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Yeah. Wow, the guys, you can sew.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
They should sell three legged dogs.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
How do you think the three legged dogs feel? Though?
I agree, it's like it's like you calein when you
go to you know, Hawa. No listen though, we'll hear
me out when you go to Hawaii and they had
a little license place in the airport that you can
buy and they don't spell your name correctly. There's no
Caleb no. So this is the same way. If I'm
a three legged dog, I feel the same way. Why
is it that when I go to the store to

(06:49):
buy a dog of toy? Yeah, there isn't. Surely there's
a market for this. I think that I'm weird. Okay, weird.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
You guys are weird.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
I forgot to mention that Alexander is here, by the way.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
That.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
Oh my god, no, yeah, I just want to say
that A really hard on that.

Speaker 8 (07:09):
And like women always say they want like a thoughtful,
romantic man who listens and all that.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
I even had I had a YouTube out a sew
I think she sounds.

Speaker 8 (07:17):
A little gun great.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
I mean, we have heard so much worse. This guy
really listened to her. But why did you cut the
leg off the dock? Because she wanted to adopt a
disabled dog? She said, so it wouldn't have It wouldn't
have been quite the same if he had just given
her a normal dog toy.

Speaker 8 (07:33):
It's giving weird, though, Like he's in his basement with
a sewing machine that she got a doo with your
foot and it's like braming out and dark and he's
chopping legs off stuffed dogs.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
That's weird. It is.

Speaker 8 (07:44):
In a dark room, basement. Cart I never say anything
about a basement, but he.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
Did it in his bedroom, in his mom's house. It
wasn't It certainly was not in the basement of anything.
I'm creeped out. I mean, it is a little extreme,
but at least it proves calin that he was listening.
He was listening to her when she talked, and he
was trying to give her a personalized gift, and that's
hard to come by.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
People that listen to you.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
Right, I'm not that mad at this. What are you
mad about, Kiki? This is weird.

Speaker 7 (08:12):
Like like I was with him until he cut the
man leg off or the dog man.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
Second, we didn't say this man with Max Murderer. I
mean that's giving that.

Speaker 7 (08:24):
It's giving that, okay, Like I don't mess around with
people who want to pop heads off, doals and like
arms and legs and you're cutting the leg off the
stuff animal like you didn't have to go that far.
I was with him like, I was, Oh, that's cute.
He brought her a little dog and maybe said, you know,
in the future we can foster together. Like that's cute.
But to actually cut off the leg that is weird.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
That is weird. And you did. Yeah, I know, Alexander,
I see both sides here. I'm trying to give you
the benefit of the doubt because we've had some real
jerks call up. Here is a nice way of saying it.
And it does sound like you were paying attention. It
does sound like you wanted to be thoughtful and give
her a personalized gift. But I can also see why

(09:05):
that's a strange gift to give somebody. It is a strange.
It is a strange thing to do. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 8 (09:11):
I feel like I'm unfairly getting grouped in with the
popping heads off a dolls.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
Yeah that like crowds people, that's your.

Speaker 8 (09:22):
People put into that category.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Unfairly right there, I believe. Okay, too early, it's too
early to be that.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
Early to be that.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
Everybody knows women you can't please them. Everybody knows that
the three legged dog trick is a third date thing
like never, that's whatever time for that. It's a first
We're not late, we're not on like never do that?

Speaker 3 (09:47):
What you do with the other piece?

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Where's the other piece of the lake? Where's the leg?

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Right?

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Okay, look so I mean, Amy, look, we've heard worse.
Would you give the guy another chance? It is a
little weird, but I mean no.

Speaker 4 (10:01):
No, no, no, no, no, it's nice enough. But you
know what, just just just okay, now, well you just
see the voodoo doo all that Alexander has that you go, no,
I'm kidding.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
Of course you don't Alexander.

Speaker 8 (10:15):
Do you, right?

Speaker 1 (10:17):
No, I don't. Okay, see he doesn't see he doesn't
do I'm sorry, dude, I can see what I can
see where your mind was the execution was a little off,
but I can see where you I can see what
you were thinking. Okay, and I'm a little aggressive but
thoughtful nonetheless, So what maybe we just pumped the brakes
a little bit with the next one when we get
excited about and god forbid, I don't know what other

(10:40):
hobbies they can say that they have, but I don't.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
You stay strong, you listen to women, and you don't
ever change you rock, don't ever.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Change a little like it just like a little slight
bit changed a little. But guys, Alexander Amy, thank you
for your time. Best of luck to both of you.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Yeah,
