Speaker 1 (00:01):
I've ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the
Fred Show. Heyday's good morning, welcome to the program. How
are you hi? Good morning?

Speaker 2 (00:10):
I'm okay.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
How are you doing? All right? Man? What's going on
with this woman? Nina? We got to know everything on
waiting by the phone? So how did you meet her?
I want to hear about any dates you've been on?
And then why you think you're being ghosted?

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Yeah? Well we went on a date. So we met
through Tinder. We went on a date where we just
we grabbed some drinks. It was it was really nice.
I thought we had some really good chemistry. It was
it was like like pretty solid. But then I tried
texting her like like yesterday and absolutely ghosted nothing. I
heard nothing back, and it looked like I was blocked.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
I got like a I got like a did not
receive message.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Ah, well, okay, so you go from matching to chatting
to drinks in person to then not only is she
not responding to you, but you're you think you're unable
to even communicate with this person. Yeah. Yeah, it gives blocked,
its giving blocked. Yeah, we don't we don't want that.
That's not good. I mean, but that would be a
surprise to you. I mean, you look back on the date,

(01:11):
you felt like everything went well, like to the point, yeah,
like we were.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Joking with each other, we had we had good like slow.
I don't know, it was very it was very surprising
to see that.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Okay, all right, Well let's see if we're blocked. We're
gonna call Nina. In just a second. You'll be on
the phone. We'll ask some questions. I don't want you
to say anything right at first, but at some point
you're welcome to jump in and you know, the whole year,
so that we can figure out what's going on and
then send you guys. I want another date and pay
for that, all right? Yeah, Hey Chase, Hey, all right, Chase.
So you went out with Nina. You met on Tinder.

(01:42):
You had a great date. You thought everything went really well,
had some drinks and great conversation everything else. You thought
you'd see her again. You've reached out since then, except
you haven't heard a word. Not only that, but you
think maybe she blocked you even Yeah, that's right, all right,
Well let's call her right now. Good luck, Chase? Thanks? Hello, Hi,

(02:07):
is this Nina? Yeah? This, Hey Nina, Good morning minumus. Fred.
I'm calling from the Fred's Show, the Morning radio Show,
and I have to tell you that we are on
the radio right now and I would need your permission
to continue with the call. Can which have for just
a second?

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Oh my gosh, okay.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Well, thank you very much. I know it's a little
strange to get a call like this from a bunch
of strangers, but on the radio with that. But we're
calling on behalf of a dude named Chase. So I
guess you met on Tinder recently and had some drinks
with Do you remember Chase?

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Yeah, Okay, Well, I want to hear about this because
he reached out to us and he had really nice
things to say about you. He enjoyed the date that
you guys went on, but he thinks that he's been
blocked since then, which is surprising to him. Did you
block him?

Speaker 2 (02:52):
I mean yeah, I had to. I mean, I'm sure
he enjoyed it. He knew a lot about me before
we even met. Case is like a really weird guy.
I mean, I'm sorry to say that, Like I wouldn't
say that about anyone, just like I mean, I'm not

(03:13):
sure how much he said, but like, I'm never using
Tinder again because of this guy.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Okay, Well, what he told us was that he met you,
liked you, that he thought that everything went well, and
that he's surprised that you're not responding to him and
apparently you've blocked him. So what does he know? Tell me?
More like he knew a lot you're not using Tinder?
Like what does all that mean?

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Yeah? No, I mean honestly, it was like he had
been stalking me. That's how it felt like. When we
met up, everything seemed fine, but then all of a sudden,
he was like, you should be careful posting so much
info online, Like it's very easy to find out things
about you. That's so creepy.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
That's a weird way to say that. What did he
find out and where did he find out?

Speaker 2 (03:57):
I mean, I don't I turn off on my like
geo locations, Like I'm pretty careful, but like, you know,
he would just kind of pepper in details about my life,
you know, like oh, like I'm swifty too, and I'm
like okay cool, Like I mean that's kind of common.
But then it would be like, oh, I love orange
cats and like I have a tabby like Orange Cat,

(04:18):
you know, and like, okay, that's kind of weird, you know,
like everything just started getting really specific.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Okay, so like is your Instagram polack?

Speaker 2 (04:28):
I mean I don't. Yeah, I have like some features
switched off, like I'm not totally private, but I'm I mean,
it's really careful.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
He went to your instagram, Like I'm not saying that
the way that he went about it isn't weird. But
I mean if and I guess, did he know your
last name? Like how was he able? Did you give
him your Instagram? Or I mean did he did he
figure that out? No?

Speaker 2 (04:49):
I mean he must have done like reverse Google image
search or something like he went deep, you know. And
I mean he just like he knew friends' names, like
he knew where I went on vacation, Like he knew
like way too much.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
I mean, look at everybody knows you do this kind
of research before you go out with people. You just
don't tell him that you did that kind of everybody knows.
You keep that to yourself when you act surprised when
they tell you about the cat. You know, it's like
I love Orange Cat. That's crazy. I didn't look at
your LinkedIn. I don't know where you work in the
ear of Vice President. Hey chases here. I forgot to

(05:24):
mention the chases here. And since he's apparently a creep,
then I shouldn't have let him linger in the background
like this. I'm sorry, I'm very forgetful. Chase. What you
hear what she's saying? I mean, did you do all
this stuff ahead of time? Because I don't know some
a little research, I guess I understand if especially if
it's readily available on Google. But I mean, maybe you
don't have to tell her.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
I mean, that's exactly what happened.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
I did. I did my date research. I don't see
anything wrong with that.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
I don't see how it's wrong. But I'm looking at
my date's profile online.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Is it that simple, though, Nina? I mean so, so
he looked up some stuff.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
There's more. No. After a few drinks, Yeah, he took
me on a little stroll, Hi tease, Like do you
remember this part? Okay, So we're like going down this
creepy dark alley and he's like, I kid, you know,
he looks at me dead in the eyes, like gives
me like dead crazy eyes, and he's like, if I
were a serial killer. This would be a perfect spot

(06:19):
to do it.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Now, that is yeah, said that. Now he's laughing maniacally.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
That is funny.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
You don't saying what are you doing? Dude? You don't
say stuff like that.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
I don't have a very particular sense of humor.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Apparently, that that's weird.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
I think that's hilarious.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
That's man. You don't joke about killing you. I mean,
I can't believe I'm saying this out loud. That's not funny.
I can't believe.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
I can't believe.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
You can't get a silly little joke. That's what it is.
It's going to be completely it's so silly. You can't
take it. You can't take it about.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Yeah, I don't want to end up at LA. No,
not for me. I'm honestly, I'm going bull like private
on all socials and I'm going into hiding.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
I'm not even sure if it's well, I've already seen everything.
Oh my god, guys, dude, don't be a weirdo anymore
than you've already been. I mean, it's one thing to
google somebody and have some informations, another thing to joke
about stuff like that. I does that funny, far too far.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Yeah, I'm just sorry that none of you guys have
a sense of.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
About it, any of this funny. That's what it is.
We're not we don't. We don't know humor. Is I
know murderers. Yeah, I've watched a lot of datelines. I
feel like this is how they start. Well, clearly, I'm
sure you do. I'm sure you study them. Yeah, all right, look,
yeah I would. I would go ahead and I understand
why the block happened, and I would go ahead and

(07:53):
maybe make things private. And I'm sorry this happened, Nina.
If we can help you in any way, let us know,
we'll kind the authority. Maybe maybe Jason Bradill come over
and protect you just the way he said that is
exhipidated right there. So yeah, there's make no issue. Hey, Chase, man,
I don't this is not funny, Like if you're being funny,

(08:14):
and I hope you're being funny, I assume you are, Like,
it's not really in this dan age, that kind of
stuff's not funny.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
I think it is.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
Well, okay, anyway, hey, thank you for your time being
a good luck at that obviously there will be no
date And then Chase, I don't know man, Just like
behave yourself too.
