seems like no weekends. I didn'tpost one thing on social media. I

come to accept it. Nope,the thought of Kevin me never seeing Kevin
again. I cannot grasp I cannotwrap my head around not seeing that incredibly

talented, just master of his craft, funny bastard, that I'm not going
to see him again, and thathurts deep after sitting across from him for
almost forty years putting each and everyshow together. Yeah, except when he
was on vacation or I was onvacation. Those pauses aren't there anymore.

absence, my mind goes directly tohis wife and his two kids, Katie
and Christopher, and his wife Barbara, and of course Kevin's extremely extremely small

but loving family. I've never knownKevin's uncles. I barely got to know
his dad and knew his mom.I know uncles and aunts, but I
didn't know any of them. Andso his family consisted of his brother Jimmy,
and his sister Rohnda, and Jimmy'sfamily of course, family of five.

So that's where my heart always goesto when I'm thinking about what we're
going through, is to that coreof people. So Jimmy Carlson, by
the way, Jimmy is slightly olderthan Kevin, and in talking to him
a couple of times, Heather,I don't know if you notice, but

he's one of those guys that whenhe cries, it sounds like he's laughing.
Do you know what I mean?No, I mean there have you
heard that from people? Have youheard that, you know, know about
anybody? He starts crying and theysound like they're laughing that you do I
laugh cry? Okay, but Iknow when you're crying because I've seen it
for the last two weeks, heardit. So Jimmy text me, knowing

that we're coming back on the air, he texts me, I know tomorrow
morning's going to be difficult. Thatbeing said, we will be thinking of
you. Give us a ring whenyou're in town. So I'm going to
Ohio for Thanksgiving and you know wherewe stay. Jimmy is five miles away.
He's gonna be like, he's gonnabe Kevin's replacement in my mind.

somebody's next your next door neighbor,you're you know what I mean. The
way people uh related to his stories, the way he could engage with people
just really touched them. It waspart of their everyday routine. I can't
tell you how many listeners that thatactually have my number texted me they feel

like they lost a family member,even though maybe they never met Kevin or
met him once or twice. That'she shared so much on the air.
How they get your number? Acouple of them do, like Mel from
the Grid met Yeah, people I'vemet, Yeah, I was just before
I and again it'll be all morning. But do you ever wonder if people
think you and I are weaker thaneveryone else? Because people that are supposed

to the people that love Kevin andhave him, you know, like a
dad. They're texting me to tellme I'll be okay today. Yeah right,
Katie right, texted Barber texted us, both texted us to say it'll
be okay. How strong are they? How strong are they'll look at I

don't think it's weakness, it's humanHeather, Well, here's the thing,
just so awkward. Here's somebody mentionedthis to me and they really captured it.
Because Kevin was not only a professionalpartner of ours, he was a
friend. That's such a double loss. You know, you go to work
and you you know, you don'tsocialize with people you work with people,

but not. I mean, Kevinwas a friend, a brother to me,
a best friend. Yeah, youguys, chriss crossed the country.
So that that's that's why it's sohard for us. No, I know,
I just it's so it was touching, and yet I looked at my
husband last night and I said,Barbs texted me, Katie's texted me,

talked to Chris. I've talked toall sorts of people, and everybody's saying,
you'll be okay, right, AndI'm like, these are people that
I I'm also telling you'll be okayright, And I just it's it's hard.
It is. And I realized Itexted you the other day, this
is all very hard, but it'swalls that we have to break through,
just nausea. Well, I alsothink to myself, and everybody keeps telling

us, remember the listeners have beenthrough this for two weeks already. You
guys, you know they're past it. Yeah, I'm not. No,
No, we won't be for awhile. No, but we thank you
for your patience once again, ifyou have it, if you have it,

little circle on the windshield this morningwhen I left the driveway. It was
twenty two degrees. Wow, itgot warmers we approached the city. Jesus.
But like the signs, I'm ninetyfive coaching the ninety three, I'm

the north by Canton, we're frozen. And I was like, I thought
my contact no, no, no, no, I thought my contacts were
messing up. I'm like, whyare all the signs dirty? And then
the minute the temperature picked up,the signs were clear, and I think
there was a frost, a littlefrost. Yeah. Yeah, this so
I don't mean like frozen like icicles, just frost. There was a frost.

Yeah. If you're just waking up, give yourself a little extra time
to scrape, unless you got oneof those fancy remote starters. Yeah,
I thought I just saw twenty ninea moment ago. Outside of all,
let's just say cold today. We'rejust gonna say it's and when it gets
warmer, we'll say it's it's gonnafeel like November. Yeah, for at

here's where my mind was on Saturdayand Sunday, anticipating coming in here on
Monday. I just drowned myself infootball. Oh that's what I did.

Well, my mom did text me, she said, turn on missoo because
we're all Zoo fans. Now,after some you know, she was hospitalized
in the Miszoo hospital with COVID whenI had to go pick her up from
Missouri. Yeah, she goes,there's a great game going on. I'm
like, I don't have time forthis craplender, right, I said it
like this ooh missooh just a shot. And my dad did not serve,

but I had uncles that were,you know, marines and veterans. And
to all those veterans who served andare serving men and women around the world,
thank you. Oh for sure.Did you see what happened to what
they had a Gillette. Yeah,I mean some of the stuff they did
at these games, Well, thiswasn't even This was you could go in

and walk around the field and thefield was covered with over seven thousand boots
with the names of the soldiers thatown those boots and died. Oh wow
during Iraq, Afghanistan, the Waron Terror in general. Wow, Pat
Tillman's boots were there. Yeah.So you flagged next to each of them
and you could walk, yeah,like in the boots, right, and
you could walk around the field.I couldn't handle that. Although I wanted

to take the boys to it,I just it would have looked weird because
I would have been crying for allsorts of reasons. And yeah, you
know, but it hadn't left RhodeIsland or something like that. Display.
Yeah, now it's going to travelexactly. It's great. That's good.
And it was free boots on theground. Yeah, that was good.
Yeah, I know the h Ithink it was Fox or maybe it was

CBS. I think the CBS NFLcrew was at the Air Force Academy.
They did some great breaks from there. And I don't watch that too much,
those pregames. Yeah, I justwatched football but like I said,
I was just zoned watching football thisweekend and there was a lot of great
stuff done by the networks honoring veteranstead. Yeah, that's good stuff. Well,
my husband, that's funny because everytime we're somewhere in it's Veterans Day

or like church, and they said, you know, please stand, he
always kind of slowly gets up becauseI think for a lot of them,
it's some some veterans immediately stand youyeah, but there's something and some of
them are just kind of and youjust gotta gotta wait. Yeah, gotta
give them their time. That's right. And I and I mean, I've
got a kid who's seventeen who isplanning on enlisting right out of high school,

which those conversations now come up quitea bit now because everybody's like,
have you thought about your essays you'regoing to write? You thought about the
colleges you're going to apply to?And he politely nods and he says things,
and he goes, when do Itell them? Because some people react
like why and some people have apositive reaction. But so I mean,
hey, he knows what he wantsto do. I think that, yes,
yeah, so you know, yeah, yesterday was or the whole weekend

was touching, no doubt, nodoubt, all the things. So dare
I ask what's coming up? Heather? Oh god? Okay, then hey

Anybody wake up early yesterday just toget really sad for the rest of the

lots of football, you like wakingup early and watching pre shows and getting
hyped and thinking about it. It'skind of in the background. Or get
your first wager of the day andyeah, you know, and you start
to get, you know, excitedabout what the rest of the day will
bring. And then they like they'relike, well, you know what,
we'll do some games in Europe,so not only will you get some free
game, but sometimes you'll get realgame and then you lose. Yeah,

right, Yes, that was likea depressing score. I saw it after
right, and I was like,well, that must have been the saddest
game on the planet. And itwas because Kenny, you were like giving
up. I mean, we wereso excited going into yesterday. We had
literally we did coffee in bed forthe pregame, and then when the game
started, I went downstairs and madeus Bloody Mary's, so the wife and

I did Bloody Mary's in bed towatch the game, and we were so
hyped about it. And then quicklyinto the first quarter, I think maybe
after Max third sack, yeah,five in the first half alone, I
was like, you know, maybewe don't have to, you know,
watch the rest of this game.Does this offensive line just stand up and
walk to the side. It's justa bad football team out of the way,

talent wise, they just they don'thave it. I'm sorry they don't.
They they stink and it's hard forPatriots Nation to accept that because of
the last twenty years. Yeah,I mean, I got friends lifelong Patriot
fans who went through all that crapin the sixties and seventies, when they
sucked in the eighties and by theway, but they're like getting rid of

their Patriots. I think they're puttingit away. They can't even look at
I'm like, dude, you gottasuffer. You've had no ups and downs
for twenty years. Yeah, likeevery other NFL team. Hey, there's
still my team. They'll always bemy team. They're hard to watch.
It is hard to watch, justhard to watch. Was that stat true
yesterday on social media that Mac haslost as many games at home as Tom

did his entire career? Yes?Is that real or fake? Was that
some sort of an exaggeration? Imissed that? What is that? What
is that number? Thirteen home games? But Tom did it over the course
of his entire career there eighty nine. It's impossible that he only lost thirteen
games at home in twenty years.Yeah, it's like less than one to
see. That's pretty sick while hewas playing. Yeah, I mean,

poor Mac Jones. I mean,I know people are all over he's he
probably is not the guy, butman, he's actually bad luck. I
don't know if this one's the guy. You know, he led them to
a fourth quarter comeback a few weeksago because he broke his cherry there and
then he you know, last weekhe threw the interception that was a good
pass deflected and then yesterday, hethrows this. Where was he throwing this?

Fourth quarter underthrown pass one? It'sa goal line, right, they
keep playing. He was expecting aski to stop. What did it slip
out of his Maybe it slipped offhis fingers. I think very well thrown
to the wrong person. He washurried almost you know, the majority of
the game. Like I said,I think he had five sacks in the

first half alone. And then hegoes I got some audio mac Jone's just
sounds like he's about to cry.I always sound like that he does.
He does. Yeah, he wasasked first question about the getting benched there
and late in the fourth quarter.Yeah, they just told me I was
out of the game. So Iwasn't playing very good, so I got
taking out of the game at theend of the game. So yeah,

that's that's kind of what it was. Let me take the jersey home though,
he said, right, it's it'sit's a difficult situation, but the
end of the day, I reallydid want the team to win. Always
be that person. I know that. You know we didn't win, so
it's it's hard for everybody. ButI have to play better to not even
be in that situation. You know, it's it's not ideal for anybody.
Right. If I'm the person sittingon the bench, I head down,

I'm still we still need to win. Getting yelled at question, Is anybody
of that talent in the NFL orany professional sport? Not all of them,
but a lot of them have probablya parent that's really tough on them,
right, like a mom or adad, Probably mostly a dad if
it's football, who were just likein their faces their whole life and the
motivator. You're great, but youknow this is what you need to do.

You wonder if his dad just sittingtheir head in hand, what what
just happens? Like, I don'tknow, it's a good season. Well,
the sad part is the leader ofthe division is six and three.

gate. The division is tightened up. Look Buffalo Place tonight trying to stay
barely above the five hundred mark.We thought they were going to be.
What happened to them? They couldhave been in the division race, is
my point. You know, I'mnot at the time last week, had
the Patriots beaten Washington. Let's goback two weeks. Had they beaten Washington

This little issue with the dog latelyhad their Winston, and last night was
a clear indication he was pestering usto go outside like he would he would.
He's in our living room and he'sgot a kitchen and a porch to

go through, and he's staring allthe way through that part of the house.
Let me out, like, andthen you know, he starts talking
to me. He's getting you somelimp. So i'd let him in right

after being outside for fifteen minutes,I guess. So ten minutes later he's
doing the same thing to me likethis happened over and finally I said,
okay, Winston, I just Isaid no, I said, lay down,
pointing to the ground. I'm makinghim getting it down, sad,
And and then I let him sitthere for a good twenty minutes or half

hour before I let him out again. Is it something spooky out the yard?
Is he smelling something? Or isthere something he's like obsessing about him?
Every night? Yeah? Exactly ishe obsessing? Is he eating poop?
Oh, he doesn't eat poopy,he's not eating. Is he eating
something dead out there? He?Is there something dying out there that he's
kind of keeping an eye on arabbit, a squirrel. You know,

it's a fenced, thin yard.No, it's not that outside of the
fence. Maybe maybe maybe on theend. I mean, I have three
dogs. Obviously I'm crazy. I'ma crazy dog lady. But the little
one is fourteen weeks and almost fiftypounds at this point, right, and
yesterday was the same thing. Hewould ring that bell constantly to go out
to God. I'm like, whateveryou're finding out there, God speed.

Sorry about your obsession, but you'renot going out. No, No,
your dog talked to him. Idog, the little one does the same
thing. I'm not angry, he'slike happy, don't you can have a
whole conversation. I bet about butHeather, I found an interesting story on

and the new, according to canineexperts, the new top five laziest dog.
You got two of the laziest ones. You got the Great Dane coming
in. You got Marmaduke at numberfour. Yeah, both of miners.
Yeah, very lazy. But Ihave a pug too, and he is
wicked lazy. Gotta be a hounddog in there. Well, funny you

should say that the basset hound likeFlash on the Dude's friends have two of
those number three. But I'll tellyou what. They sill get excited by
other things. But they do.They do a great deal of sleeping.

but everybody puts their leaves in abarrel and then they take their weed
whacker and they stick it in therelike an immersion blender, and they huh,
and they grind their leaves from agiant barrel all the way down to
like four inches worth of leaves.That works, I know. Well,
I mean I think you have tohave a gas powered you something little power
to it. But you're using yourweed whacker like an immersion blender. Okay,

Or if you have an electric blower. Sometimes they run in reverse and
you can bag it, so vacuumsup the leaves, winds them up and
puts them in a bag. Butif you if you've got a pile that's
like four foot by ten foot,like I was a multiple part forever take

Back to the pumpkins you picked up, you should throw those along the wall,
maybe on the other side of thewall, and you get yourself a

at the dump was the biggest amateurhour backup I've ever seen. Have you

like late forties, early fifties,could not back his little car up
because you have to back up toyou know, drop your bags and dump
