(00:00):
Let's do this dash you see up. I wake up every morning Boston's only
classic rock morning show. I lookat myself at the mirror, and I
go, maybe I'm dreaming. MaybeI'm a week dreaming. I'm asleep with
Pete McKenzie. I'm still vomit beforeevery show. Heather Ford, I feel
dirty and unsatisfied. And Kenny Young, let's get crazy. In other words,

(00:25):
I'm crazy on one point seven.I want you to go hard,
fast, heavy, get to it. Here's to the future. Will you
see lex? Well, it's abrand new day, isn't it. It's
a lot for an intro after Thanksgiving, isn't it. It'd be like slower.
I feel like we should ease intoit, like gravy filled Heather Forward.

(00:46):
Kenny Young, still coming off aweekend of gluttony. Uh. Yeah,
I feel like we should ease intoit. I feel like we should
ease into today's show with a littledude. We can make it if with
that, Yes, it is justthe two of us. Oh, it

(01:12):
still goes on. Pete got anextra day of the holiday weekend. Yes,
he had it built up in hisvacation time. Because that's right.
I haven't seen you since a weekago Thursday, all right, because you
weren't there. It was the seventeenth. I had a scheduled day off,
and then last week you guys hada scheduled week off for Thanksgiving, and

(01:33):
then Pete had an extra bonus dayhere for travel for travel times because he
was out in the Great Midwest. What was it like yesterday though, because
honestly, because I went nowhere forthe week, I stayed in my house.
People came to me. That wasgood. I didn't get in a
car. I'm wondering, was ita mess last night? It wasn't too
bad. We left in the afternoon. We popped in to see a friend's

(01:55):
new baby. They gave birth overthe weekend, so that was down in
Plymouth. So when we came offthe cap yesterday, stopped by the hospital.
It was right on the way.It was perfect. And then we
drove home from there, so likemid to late afternoon, like say three
four o'clock was fine at least fromwhat I saw. There wasn't any backups
or anything like that, because thatwas our whole goal. We're like get
home before it's dark, because wefigured after four o'clock was going to get

(02:16):
nasty again. Oh my god.By five yesterday it felt like ten thirty.
Yeah, I can't even explain it. It had. It was like
the first time since the clock's changed, Yeah, that my body was like
it's ten. We felt that way. Why why was yesterday so different than
every other day? We didn't evenhave like a full meal last night.

(02:37):
And then again, I think itcomes off of the four days of gluttony
that we were just like eating anddrinking anything inside because it's the holidays.
Yeah, well, you know, yesterday was Bobby's fifteenth birthday, so we
tried to birthday Bob's make it alittle bit more special than just what I
mean when your birthday falls around Thanksgiving. He was born twenty minutes before Thanksgiving.
Oh right, so it's just it'sa mess of a birthday. It's

(03:00):
just a yeah, well, atleast you had family in town. No,
they were gone. They left onSaturday morning. We celebrated his birthday
on Friday. Yeah, because youI don't know if you know, but
my house is wicked quiet. Andevery once in a while, i'll you
know, go fully yell, butthat very rarely, and usually that's at
a dog and like they don't talkeven when they fight. They fight.

(03:23):
Why like Ninja's it may have likeNinja words. That's not a bad way
to wind down the weekend. Reallyit was great. Yeah, uh,
well, what's the big story? What we really want to talk about?
The Pats Did you watch? Here'sthe funny thing. We can get into
this later, but I'll tell youwhy. I did not watch the Patriots

(03:44):
game. I watched about five minutesworth, and all I saw was the
drive of Bailey Zappy driving them downto tie the game at seven. I
watched the third quarter and all Isaw was Mac Jones's second interception. That's
all I saw. I did nothave to visually witness that, which was
nice. There's a lot of pain. I mean, there's still my team.
I'm going down with the ship. You know. You just don't want

(04:05):
to watch as the ship sings.I just don't. Yeah, I don't
want to watch it happen. It'slike a nightmare. Oh z Elex Weather
Sunny clouds after the rain and drizzlemoves out this morning, highs in the
fifties. Tomorrow, cold afternoon flurriesand winds that could blow all your holiday
decorations around HIGs tomorrow in the upperthirties fifty two degrees in Boston. I'm

(04:27):
Heather Ford on a one hundred pointseven w ZLX. Do not attempt to
adjuss that dial. It's Boston's onlyclassic rock morning show. One hundred point
seven w zx that's Heather Ford.I'm Kenny Young and who's this guy?
Hello to Boston's only classic rock morningshow. I trust everyone had a nice

(04:48):
Thanksgiving, Heather, welcome back.I eagerly await Pete's return tomorrow, and
I wish you all good tidings andjoy. No comfort, where is the
comfort in that? Got to findyour own comfort, going to make our
own way. I think I'm goingwith sweatpants for the rest of the year.

(05:08):
Yeah, hell, you're wearing jeans. I'm wearing dungarees. Okayt pants
today, but all sweatpants after.I think I want to go soft pants
till the end of the year.Okay, not that I'm going to remember
after today. I feel it's thatkind of vibe. It's a sweatpants vibe.
More importantly, as we get intothis final week of November twenty twenty
three, it's a big one.Heather. When you were out last week,

(05:30):
I had the joy and the pleasureof announcing the Rolling Stones returning to
Gillette Stadium. So far as justthe one show we know about, and
it might only be one show.As you know, Stones are always a
big undertaking when they come to town. But I'm not going to say it
was the worst kept secret. Butthey had been teasing it on billboards,
and then Jillette Stadium, you know, put out this semi cryptic tease,

(05:53):
so it wasn't a huge shocker tosome that we were going to have the
Stones. I thought it was.I thought it was photoshopped when I saw
it. Oh because of the sponsor? Okay, Oh, are you even
allowed to mention who the sponsor?Because when you sent that out, all
I thought to myself was Kenny's playinga joke on us, because there's no
way they would let this be thesponsor of this show. I could.

(06:15):
I could not believe it. TheRolling Stones sponsored by AARP. What the
hell? I was like, Idon't know. I just thought to myself,
I understand that they want that ARP, but that the Stones would like,
like, I don't know, leaninto the fact that their elderly.
Ironically, Oh god, it wastoo much For me, I was like,

(06:36):
that's Kenny's just putting out a joke. No, I don't even believe
it. It was in all theofficial artwork for the concert. I've seen
it since I just I saw yoursfirst. My reaction was, Okay,
Jaredtol your move. Oh my god, Well are you going to sponsor?
I couldn't. I can't. Istill can't believe it. I mean,
it's gonna be a great show, but what what are they going to be

(06:57):
giving away? What's is ARP AARP? They're going to be free membership?
I have no idea. It's vipersfor everyone, discount race at the Golden
Corral. What do you get withthat? Stones take you? I still
want to go to the show?Yeah you do. Well, we're gonna
give you five opportunities every day thisweek, all right, starting at seven
fifty this morning. All right. We haven't given away tickets since last Tuesday

(07:17):
when I made the announcement, Sothis is pretty cool. Five times every
day, seven fifty eight to fiftywith our show, eleven fifty with my
show filling in for Carter. Carter'son vacation this week, and then Chuck,
we'll have more Stones tickets at twoforty and three forty this afternoon.
Full contest details and show information postedup at WZX dot com. But seven

(07:39):
fifty your first chance to win yourticket to Rock with the Rolling Stones from
a Planet Fitness WCLX Studios, HorizonNow Now, thanks for making us part
of your morning Deadlines with Heathers GreatStore on one point seven WCLX Boston,
too much cooorball security offense, turnthe ball over too many times? I

(08:01):
got away from this. I knewa few times and didn't turn it over.
Missed opportunity, atienda game to putit over time, So not good
enough to slop down the bull security? Is he talking off Mike again,
just so no one can understand anythinghe's saying. Did he throw the mics
down to the floor like he hadbeen doing Prime? I think he's calmed
down. He Belichick didn't touch themics yesterday at the press there. But

(08:24):
have you noticed in the abyss, the abyss that is the Patriots season,
the audio quality in the press commerceshas gotten worse as well. Yes,
I'm just wondering if he doesn't onpurpose he had to put some sort of
spell on all the microphone. Imean did they send the b squad out
to get that audio that came fromthe Patriots twitter page ten to seven?
Yeah, so we lost. Yeah, there's a field goal at the end,

(08:46):
because the Giants have this way ofgetting people to miss field goals at
the end of games. I askedmy husband, he grew up a Bills
fan, and it's just sad.I mean, I only watched five minutes,
but I happened to catch the secondinterception of Mac Jones. You watched
five minutes, you happened to catchthe was something of Bailey ZAPPI. Yeah,
Bailey's drive in the third quarter thatultimately tied the game seven to seven.

(09:09):
I was like, oh, well, maybe they are showing some signs
of live today. Yeah. Yeah. And then we were in the Plymouth
hospital watching that five minutes of sportsaction. We went to visit our friends
just had a baby over the weekendand yesterday was the first day we went
to see her. You know, they needed that couple of days. And
yeah, he had the game onthe new Dad and I was like,

(09:30):
Okay, maybe they made it agame at seven seven. No, And
then I didn't see one lick ofit after that, and I'm really glad.
I didn't see the end of it. No lick, no game,
no nothing, no, it wasjust it was sad. And if you
took away like how football scores things, it was really just like one to
half or one and a half toone is what the score ended up being.

(09:52):
I don't know. Let's end thison a happy note, though,
you want to end it on ahappy note, Okay, well it's cracked
war to the loft, just kidding, not happy. That was the kick.
The lex weather sun and clouds afterthe rain and drizzle moves out this
morning highs in the fifties. Watchout the roads debris all right because of

(10:13):
all the rain last night. Itwas pretty heavy. Tomorrow is cold with
afternoon flurries and winds that could blowall your holiday decorations around Highes. Tomorrow
in the upper thirties, fifty twodegrees in Boston. I'm heather Ford on
one hundred point seven wuz LX Boston'sClassic Rocks. It's Keeddy Young heather Ford,
six thirteen. On this twenty seventhof November. We were just talking

(10:35):
off the year too. Now theThanksgiving is ova, we're onto Christmas.
This is like the fastest four weeksof the year, I feel like,
perceptively, Yeah, but then it'sfollowed by the slowest three months of the
year. I mean, January isokay, February stinks, March is like
a nightmare. Yeah, it's thethey're the they're the slowest because your wind
is waiting for spring to come around. By the time March rolls around.

(10:58):
Give me a crocus. That's allmasking, that's all. It's all.
I want to see that first lifepop out of the growing pop out,
and I'm talking about flowers. Yeah, I'm it's a very exciting moment.
Yeah, listen, I'm doing mybest not to drag ass this morning.
But I tell you, when Iwalked outside this pouring rain and it's coming
off the long holiday week, andI'm going the collective deep sigh. But

(11:20):
the showers right morning the Patriots season. Maybe yeah, we showers should be
drying up by early this morning here, and we might even see breaks of
sunshine by the afternoon. Hig's aresupposed to be about fifty four degrees as
we forecast the Classic Rock Clash thismorning coming up at eight forty. Yes,

(11:41):
we will have the Classic Rock ClashTrivia showdown this is a cool prize,
Heather. It's a special screening andcoming on the heels of Thanksgiving going
into the Christmas season, they're goingto do a Christmas Vacation screening down at
the Great Cedar Showroom at Foxwoods.I've been down there for concerts, never
for a movie, but I guessthey got a performance theater there. So

(12:03):
after they show Christmas Vacation, ChevyChase, Clark Griswold will be in the
house and he'll come out and doa Q and A with you the audience.
That's gonna happen on that's Saturday night, December second. Did I did
I just process that right? IsSaturday, December second? Saturday Saturday's December
second. Yes, you said itwas gonna go fast. I told you

(12:26):
it was going fast. Tickets atFoxwoods dot com. But when your way
into this exclusive Q and A withClark W. Griswold this Saturday night down
in Foxwood's National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation,I think I might have to put Christmas
Vacation ahead of the original vacation whenthey go to Wallyworld. Yeah, that's
a that in Elfer two, wewatch it each one as many times as

(12:48):
possible to rewatch week Holiday elf inJuly, like, we'll watch it all
year. It's not Christmas E somuch as it is funny and feel good.
That's right, That's right. Soyeah, eight forty Classic Rock Clash
bone up on that classic rock triviahere six sixteen out one hundred point seven
WZLX. It is Boston's only classicrock mornings show. Two thirds. I

(13:09):
guess today's just the two of us, Kenny Young, Heather Ford, Pat
McKenzie with the bonus day heading intothe final week in all the day it
was a bonus day as much ashe had days. He had days,
use him or lose them. Yeah, we have those around here. We're
human, just like you are atyour place of employment, Heather. Let's
talk money real quick, shall weNo. According to a new survey,

(13:33):
Americans were polled by this financial servicesfirm and Power about how much money they
think they need in the bank toachieve happiness financially. Financial freedom you mean
like not having to work for therest of your life to be happy financially,
According to this survey, be happyfinancially, I wouldn't want to be
working and I would just want anamount of money in my bank account.

(13:54):
Yeah, so what would that numberb just to be able to not work
for the rest of my life?I don't know. I mean, like
a million dollars would be nice. That is about the average. You're almost
spot on. The majority of almostsixty percent of the people pulled in this
survey said one point two million comfortablyfor them to be financially secured and happy.

(14:15):
But do you have to work forthat or is it just showing up
in my bank account? I thinkit's shown up in your bank account.
Like you sell whatever you have that'sgiant, you go buy something tiny,
and then you just go live.Yeah, And they divided up by age
groups, so like, for example, boomers were saying about a million bucks.
Gen xer is just over a millionbucks because we're going to live longer

(14:35):
than the dollars. Also, millennialswould have to be like four million.
Yeah. Yeah. In fact, millennials kind of have the most warped of
what they expect a salary would beto make them happy. So it's working
inolved in this Oh yeah. Sonow on the flip side of this salary,
millennials said they needed a salary annuallya five hundred and twenty five thousand

(15:00):
dollars. What are you doing fora living to make that much money?
No, but they have to payoff their college debts. My god,
gen z was said, one hundredand twenty eight thousand a year would be
would be sufficient, durable if youhad to keep working. That's what I'm
raising. Jen Xter's one hundred andthirty thousand a year. That makes sense,
I mean, it sounds fun.Let's do that. Let's let's ask

(15:20):
for that. Uh, here's anambitious number of people on average say they
plan to retire at age sixty three. So these expecting salaries and how much
money it's going to take to befinancially secured. Our three seems young?
Yeah, what are you going todo? How are you getting money?
Find? I know plenty of peoplefriends of ours that are in you know,
their mid to late sixties and insome case early seventies, and they're

(15:41):
still working. Oh. My myfather in law worked till he was ninety.
I don't know about you, butI don't have no one point two
million dollars in the bank right about, but I'd like it, right,
it would help, It would help, you know what else would help?
These giant lattery lattery lottery jackpots.Again, three hundred and fifty two million
will be drawn tonight in power Ball. Man, it's not a big deal

(16:02):
anymore to have three hundred million inthese jackpots. Look at mega millions tomorrow
night, three hundred and thirty five. So grab your tickets right and maybe
you'll be on your way to financialsecurity. Six twenty eight. Here this
Monday morning, fifty degrees outside ofour ZLX studio, Boston's only classic crock
morning show, one hundred point sevenw z LX six forty five. It's
Kenny Young, Heather Forward with you. Fifty degrees. We're at that weird

(16:25):
point of the morning. Here.We got the full beaver moons behind us.
The beaver moon. Was that theonly important thing I told you today?
Like, of all the things we'vetalked about on our off air,
was that the most important thing?Yeah? Yeah, because I think it
is affecting us. I think it'saffecting a lot of us. The hot
sexy moon. Again. I sawa lot of weird like lane changes on
the way into work today, justunnecessary lane changes. Really. Yeah,

(16:47):
no one in front of you,No need to get in front of me
dropping along all the puddled pile wascalled pooling streets water. Yeah, losing
words. I'm blaming the beaver.I say, is there any band out
there that you'd like always thought aboutit'd be cool to like go on the
road and see a bunch of showsand like live like a rock star for
a night. No, not ever. No, I had a roommate,

(17:10):
Devin, who used to follow Fishevery summer in between you know, college
stuff. That's the extent of it, though, I mean, I've only
ever known one person. For ourStones fans, they'd be very excited to
know this. We got this contestgoing on. You can be part of
the official Stones entourage when a tripfor four This is pretty cool for one

(17:32):
night only. You get flown outto another city, You get transportation,
you get to go to the band'ssound check. You'll have upfront seating,
you get an autographed setlist of thatnight's show, the routing stouns. And
not only that, but here's thecool like you can't buy in stores.
Part You'll be transported to and fromthe show on the night of the show
as part of the band's official motorcade, so you'll get to feel what it's

(17:56):
like to be whisked into a venuepast the throngs of Way fans. You
realize that's very different than following theband around, right, That's like that
sounds fancy? Yeah it is.This is a unique thing and the only
way to get it is to listenthrough our free iHeartRadio app. That's all
you gotta do. Just listen tous WZLX on our free iHeartRadio app to
qualify to Way. It's an awesomepackage. Full details posted up at WZLX

(18:21):
dot com. And if you'd liketo stay closer to home, well we
got your first chance to win yourWay in coming up from a Planet Fitness
WZLX Studios. Now, thanks formaking us part of your morning. Great
story, thank god. On onehundred point seven WCLX, Boston. I'm
definitely frustrated for sure, Mack. How would you describe the team morale right

(18:44):
now? But obviously we just lost. It's not good. But I think
we have a really good group ofguys and if we choose to respond the
right way, then it'll be reallygood. But if we don't, then
it'll it'll go the other way.So I know I'm gonna be positive always
that's my goal, Heather voy whenthat audio was recorded, doing and bring
people with me. And I knowwe've been saying, well, I know
that you said you had two cuts, one from yesterday's game and one from

(19:07):
uh October like sixth or something someother well, I don't know, it
was eighty. Yeah, you justheard frustrated mac Jones after a loss back
in October, early October, earlyOctober. Yeah, and let's face facts
here, over a month later now, not much has changed. You could
have put that in any of thegames. You really could have. What

(19:30):
was the thing you were talking aboutwhen we were off? There was something
about how it was a picture oftwo pieces of trash tumbling down the road
in the wind, and it waslike one was Zappi and one was mac
Jones, And it was like whichpiece of trash is going to win?
It was Yeah, it was thoserollly barrels for trash and recycling. Right.
The wind was pushing both of thebarrels down a rain swept street and

(19:52):
the caption said it's Bailey and Mackfighting for the starting job on the court.
Well, and what are they doing? Are they running away from one
of the just something that on fire? That seems like I'd like a teams
record now at two and nine.Oh my god. Mac was benched again
yesterday after his first half performance. He was here, he was directly asked

(20:14):
about it, what it was liketo get bench this time? About playing
wasn't good enough by me? Sothe quarterback doesn't play well, you got
no chance, which O'Brien told me. I was out, and I understood.
I wasn't moving, the ball wasn'tswarming points, So I understand you
know why that happened. I watchedfive minutes. I watched the interception.
I thought it was going to bea pick six, but then I think
Mac was the one who sort ofled to the tackle. Good for him.

(20:38):
I don't know. Another interception inthe red zone, right, weren't
they driving at the time. Idon't know. I don't you know what.
I wasn't even paying attention. Iwasn't paying close enough attention. All
I know is that at ten toseven and a missed field goal at the
end, which the Giants always seemedto benefit from, right, I'll uh
nineteen ninety in the Super Bowl withthe Bills. Yeah, I mean it's

(21:00):
just a crap game. I know, people like, well, like you,
how much of it did you watch? I watched, Yeah, about
five minutes of it. We wentto visit our friend's new baby in the
hospital yesterday and he had the gameon on his iPad, and so I
just kind of casually looked over.I said, oh, it's seven nothing.
Oh, Bailey's appis in. Ohit's the third quarter and it's seven
nothing. Like I'm so glad I'mnot missing anything. And then you know,

(21:23):
on that drive Bailey tied it up. So you're thinking, all right,
seven to seven, maybe this isgoing to be a ten to seven,
maybe in favor of the Patriots.Maybe maybe no, But I felt
like I didn't need to watch. It was so weird. It was weird
that the Giants. It was likewatching two sad teams play each other,
and the Giants, isn't the recordbetter? Like before this game even started,
wasn't even better than ours? Itwas just like a game. Maybe,

(21:45):
yeah, this is the draft pickBowl. Who's going to get a
better draft pick? At the endof some things, one player makes a
difference. Well except if you're aquarterback. Yeah, but that was just
it was a horrible showing Who dothey play next? Week. Do you
know, Oh, we host theCharge in Foxboro on a track on Sunday.
I have there, I have thatfor you, right, Sorry to
me to put you on the spot. I'm just curious to know if it's

(22:07):
like a game where people are gonnabe like, oh, I'm gonna watch
this one because we got a chance, or is it one of those games
where they're like, no, thisis not even fun. All right,
let me get your charges record here. I got your chargers at four and
seven coming in to take on thetwo and nine Pats. So it's gonna
be a good time. Hey,they're standing by their coach though, I
mean from the sounds of it,Belichick hasn't lost the entire locker room.

(22:30):
Senator David Andrews on coach and howhe feels. Look, my coach,
I believe in him. He broughtme in the sleeve. I'll go down
fighting with him. Wow, thereyou go. That should be great because
the way you worded that, youcould be going down fighting with him,
like yeah, like you're gonna bethrowing punches at Belichick. Z the lex
weather sun and clouds after rain anddrizzle moves out, which is done right?

(22:52):
Look at this Yeah, it's prettypretty fun. Highs in the fifties
today, tomorrow afternoon flurries, windsthat could blow all your holiday decorations around.
Yeah, highs today or tomorrow inthe upper thirties, forty nine degrees
in Boston. I'm heather Ford onehundred point seven w ZLX Todayso is your

(23:15):
Captain speaking? Come in Earth onehundred point seven w ZLEX, Boston's only
classic rock morning show. It waslike the old Museum of Science ads.
It's fun to find out what yourvoice really sounds like. We used to
have these like really corny commercials forthe Museum of Science back in the day.
I can walk like a penguin. That was the Aquarium one. Yeah,

(23:36):
it was like local broadcasting. Theywere promoting thes of that for a
while. Not the Museum of Science. But I think everybody who had little
kids is a member of the aquarium. Oh yeah, I mean it's always
weird when it's always weird when yougo into the cafeteria at the Boston Aquarium
here and they're serving like fish sticks, like this cafeteria do that? Do

(23:56):
not make it? Yeah? Theygot to have food there, right,
I don't seven twenty six on thisMonday morning fifty degrees on its way up
to about fifty four. Much betterstart to the day now than it was
when we left our driveways earlier. This morning, rain swept winds and such
and so forth. Well, theroadways, I would say, the big
part about this morning that just mademe angry was that every roadway I was

(24:18):
on was just covered in debris. And it didn't make me angry that someone
hadn't cleaned it. It just mademe angry that nature had done that.
Right. I spent the whole drivein thinking I was going to die with
a tree branch landing on my carbin out on the leaves. Right.
Well, we can brighten your daytoo with some rolling Stones tickets. That's
right. This week, we're doingthem five times every weekday, beginning at
seven fifty. So yeah, you'rejust yeah, you're less than forty minutes

(24:41):
away from our first opportunity of theday. We'll have him again at eight
to fifty. I got him duringCarter Show at eleven fifty, and then
the afternoon with Chuck at two threeforty pm. You know, we were
saying that, you know, whenthe official tour poster came out last week
we made the announcement here in ZLX. It said the Stone's tour was sponsored
by AARP. Yeah, I thoughtyou were joking, no joke. I

(25:02):
saw your yours first and I waslike, Wow, Kenny's playing a joke.
He's superimposedly pasted on aarp. There. There's no way that the Stones
would, like, I don't know, lean in to the elderly part of
themselves. They are. And it'sfunny too, because I looked this up
and I knew this was according tofolklore and legend. But the Rolling Stones
tour in nineteen eighty one was thefirst time a rock band had corporate sponsors

(25:25):
for their tour. Who was it? So it's nothing new to the Stones
ready for this? Back then innineteen eighty one, several million dollars were
ponied up to sponsor the Stones tourthat year from Jovon Musk. Wow,
that's right, Jovon Musk. Theband explained that at the time that selling
out to corporate sponsors would help keepticket prices down. Sorry, sorry you

(25:48):
fast forward here to twenty twenty three, and don't worry, We've got your
hook up all right right here atseven twenty seven. So keep the phone
number handy sixty one seven nine threeto one one double O seven collar ten
will get him seven fifty here onZLX. So what's going on with Boston's
only classic rock morning show? Ononety seven WZLX, Well seven forty four

(26:11):
on this Monday hot off the longholiday weekend w ZLEX. It's Kitty Young,
heather Ford, Pete McKenzie back tomorrow, tacking on the bonus day for
travel. He drive back yesterday oris he driving back today today from Ohio?
Yeah, that was probably a smartmove. I'm guessing. I don't
even know what the traffic was likeyesterday. I wasn't really paying attention,

(26:33):
so came back from the Cape midafternoon. But I would like to back
up because I haven't seen you sinceNovember sixteenth. I was off on the
seventeenth, and then you guys wereoff last week, so I just wanted
to catch up. I wanted tosee how your Turkey Day was with the
fan. Oh, you had relativesin town you hosted? My parents were
here. Yeah. I didn't leaveanywhere. I didn't drive, I didn't
do anything. My brother came andhe worked for my house for the week.

(26:56):
I will tell you that it wasuneventful. We're real low key,
but we did decide as a groupthat we're never doing turkey. Now.
What brought this song? We justhate turkey. We don't understand why we
have to cook a turkey. AndI'm not shut up with you, America.
I don't need it right now.I just want you to know that
we're done. None of us reallyenjoy eating turkey. It's all about the

(27:19):
sides anyway, and sides are thestars, and everybody's like, oh,
well, fry it, sush.I don't want to fry a turkey.
It's not fun for me. Idon't want to smoke a turkey. I
don't want to cook just parts ofa turkey. I don't want to split
a turkey open and cut out thatspine part and lay it flat. To
me, it's all of these wayspeople are doing to make turkey more appealing.

(27:40):
Turkey should just be appealing, andit's not. You gotta dress things
up, you got to inject things. I don't want to do any of
that. I just want to makesomething that everybody likes that you don't have
to do anything to the meat itself. So we're gonna we're gonna stick with
what we make the night before, and was beef Wellington. Oh, we
do before Wellington. That's right there. It is and it's wonderful and I

(28:03):
love it and we all love it. And we don't even do it with
the liver because I don't want to, you know, destroy my kids.
We do it like a mushroom betweenthe meat and the pastry and I like
that. So you set that allup the night before and then boom it
goes in the oven on thirty exactly. Yeah, I'm not We're just we
don't like turkey enough. And Iknow whether are people like you have to

(28:25):
do turkey. It's like, shush, you do whatever you want, you
do you. I'm honestly, Idon't even care. I just want to.
We like beef Wellington. And youcan do that with potatoes. You
can do with anything. You cando it string being cast role if you
really wanted to, you could dowith all the things. You can even
have rolls on the side, andyou do with sweet potatoes if you please.

(28:45):
Yeah, but we're in cranberry sauce. But we're doing beef Wellington.
Well, I'll tell you. Wehad a lot of alternate foods on our
table. This year we went downwith our third family down the Cape.
We were in East Falmouth and twentyeight we're seated at the well. I
should say, the four tables chainedtogether. I gotta I'll have to show
you a picture of it. Youstill have to have a room big enough

(29:07):
to hold twenty Yeah, the biggestwell, this dining space you have in
your house. We could maybe fitten people on it at a table.
This dining room spills directly into oneof the living room. So like we
were able. We had the space. We had to move furniture, but
we set that all up on Wednesday. We got four tables lined up and
seating for twenty eight, all essentiallyat the same table. But I got

(29:30):
to tell you, and it wasa miracle to watch, Like everybody brings
something. Sure aside, we gotthis, We got that rolls they're covered
by something. But there was thesmoke turkey. We did dispatchcock on the
big green eggs. It was asmoked turkey this year, unbelievable. There
was a roast turkey. There wasa honey baked tam and what I love
is the Italian staple on Thanksgiving oflasagna. Yeah, it's Oh my god,

(29:53):
it's underrated. If you've never Ifyou've never had lasagna at a Thanksgiving
feast, my word. Yeah.Good. Fortunate to be some of the
last to leave the house this weekend, so we got to take home some
of the leftovers, which was awesome. So it's not the turkey. Quite
an out and quite Now. Didyou do any Black Friday shopping? No
way. All I saw was scrollingthrough Instagram on Friday. All I could

(30:17):
see was there was hours of waitsto get into the rental outlets that made
national news, it did, andthey told people not even to come and
then also out in at it.Yeah, they were telling people don't come
here. Well, the parking atthe collection, I don't even know what
the hell it's called anymore, butit's not great to begin with, no
so, and the parking at theoutlets seems spacious until you realize everybody's funneling
in and out. Yeah, andhow many miles was that backup to get

(30:41):
off? But all I do knowis when you're funneling in and out,
it's an awkward funnel in and outbecause there's a fake out light or a
fake out section where you end upgoing towards what's that restaurant where you can
go shopping before you actually craig crackerbarrel? Do you get faked down to
a cracker barrel before you even getin the outlets? Yeah, I don't
know. Really surprised me to seethat there was these traffic nightmares on Friday

(31:04):
because so many people now are shoppingonline and it's like they have no need
to golls that the outlets are prettyeach sit in traffic. Oh yeah,
God, we don't go like welive right there, right, that's our
school district. We don't go tothe outlets after Thanksgiving and until February.
Is everybody spending their Christmas money throughJanuary? I won't even step foot into

(31:26):
the outlets until it's nuts. It'snuts time there. I'll tell you what.
It's just a tick before seven pointfifty here, ladies and gentlemen,
and need I tell you that wegot a big week kicking off at Boston's

you happen to know a man andfella right here? Pay sure ticket to
rock? Now? All right, caller ten, We're looking for you six
one seven ninety three one one doubleO seven seven point fifty on the nose

(32:07):
when your way into the stones fromBoston's Classic Rock one hundred point seven WZLX
from the Planet Fitness WCLX Studios. How now, thanks for making that part
of your morning deadlines, Heather Idiots, great story. Thank on one hundred
point seven WCLX, Boston. Youcan't stop staring at this picture from the

(32:29):
WCVB website of the guy that wasmissing in Avon since September seventh, whose
body was found in his own well. First of all, we all okay,
No, I was just saying Ihad a lot of questions. My
brain immediately jumps to like a well, like you know, stone, circle,
bucket, But I don't think that'sthe case. Here we have concrete

(32:50):
lid. Yeah, did something gowrong? Like they won't mention in the
story. This poor man, sohe's been missing for months found in a
well that's on his property where helived. Forty five year old Keith McKenny
discovered by a relative Saturday. He'snot been seen since the seventh at his
house at thirty four East High Street. So but it doesn't it, says
police officers. Firefighters called to help, including members of the state Police,

(33:15):
to recover his body from the depthsof the well. What like, I'm
all I'm thinking is can you atleast tell us how this happened so we
don't make that mistake? Yeah?Did the lid cave in? Was he
out walking his property? Where's thelid from? I mean, I don't
have a well, so I don'thave to worry about things like that.
But if I'm on someone else's propertyand they have one, what am I

(33:36):
looking? What are the weaknesses I'mlooking? Don't you think they should at
least add that into the story.Yeah? I'm also wondering if there's any
follow up lay involved. That wasmy next question. Well, they said
no, and they said there wasno signs of trauma on his body.
You know what I mean. Youfind a body in a well, you
think maybe, you know, hemaybe owed somebody some money and they decided
to get rid of him. Thispoor guy. You see his picture,
he's so happy looking. Yeah, they said that he just went for a

(33:58):
walk, just went for like, left his house and went for a walk.
There had to be like some structuralfailure, right. Well. The
other thing is, wouldn't you noticethat there was a hole if you did
fall through something you knew, youknow where your well is. And then
I automatically think of remember baby wasa baby, Jessica, Jessica. Well,
yeah, well she was so tinyand that was just a small air
this thing. He's not a smalllooking dude. This guy right like,

(34:22):
he's so the well shaft had tobe wide enough for him to after.
I mean, I must sound likea moron not understanding this, but I'm
on town water. So you know. Wells are a thing of intrigue and
mystery. Yes, an expense.Wells are a thing of expense. We
had someone tell us how much itwould cost to do all of that,
and it was twenty thousand dollars. And I said, my grass is fine,

(34:45):
and you're guaranteeing I'm getting water rightWell, he said he could be
up to that much or as littleas ten depending on when they hit it.
Yeah, I'm thinking to myself.I don't know that kind of I'm
not gambling with ten thousand dollars.Whatever is if they get ten thousand dollars
down not getting water and there's nowater, and you're just thinking yourself,
now, well, now we gota hole in the yard. Yeah,
and you can't just let it staybecause you've already put ten in. I've

(35:06):
never heard of people accidentally falling downtheir own well, but I have heard
of people falling into their septic tankbecause the lid was compromised and like it
was covered over maybe with grass leavesor whatever. You know what I mean,
what do you have over yours?I have a planter over mine.
We don't have a set. We'reon town sewer. Oh you're on town
sewer. Yeah, we have oneof those. It's just a planner that
you would put mums in or youknow, sunflowers and the summer. It's

(35:30):
on top to say, hey, don't walk here, don't do it.
I have a hard time even justthinking about walking around it. Yeah,
isn't our front yard, so Idon't really have to worry as much.
No one's spending any But if myhusband, oh it's in the front yard,
it's nice to hear you dress itup with a floral arrangements, Thank
you very much. Well, it'sunderground, so it doesn't really matter.
This is all to hide the factthat none of us want to talk about

(35:50):
the fact that the Pats lost tento seven after a field goal that didn't
happen, because that's how the Giantswork it. They have some sort of
voodoo magic that they can put ona kicker and the kicker shanks it to
a side or another side and justnothing happened. Yeah, like you said,
ask Buffalo from the early nineties,Yes, exactly. And Buffalo didn't
have a great day yesterday either. They lost an overtime. What a division?

(36:12):
What a division we have with therip Roar and Dolphins in first places
at eight and three. It lookslovely. And even that game. Did
you watch that game against the Jets? Yeah, oh my god, we
watched that last minute in twenty threeseconds or whatever. I don't have any
over and over and over again. It just went back and forth a zillion
times and then ended with that interceptionand running all the way. I mean,
that was the most exciting thing Isaw. You got watched more of

(36:34):
that game than I did the patchyesterday? Oh, I for sure did
because we're visiting a friend's new baby. Yeah. Yeah, my parents and
my brother were up in their NewYork fans, so we definitely watched that
Jets game. I just is depressing. Do we want to play any depressing
audio? Do we want to keeppeople free of the depressing audio? Well,
you know, aside from the factthat every week now we wait for
the eventual Mac Jones benching, buth and every week as the media's role

(36:58):
is to ask him about it.Just a bad quarterback play and wasn't good
enough by me. So the quarterbackdoesn't play well, you got no chance.
Coach O'Brien told me I was out, and I understood. I wasn't
moving the ball, wasn't swarm points, So I understand. You know why
that happened. You know, it'sweird for quarterbacks in the in the NFL.
Is that that thing he just saidprobably never was said to him in

(37:21):
pee wee football, middle school, high school, or college, but now
here at the pro leg I meanit might have been, but I don't
think they ever hear anything. Butyou're the best we've ever had. Yeah,
until they get to the NFL.For some reason, Mac was loud
and clear and his presser. ButI think that, you know, the
abysmal season the Patriots are having isspilling over into the audio department at these

(37:43):
press conferences. Did you happen tohear any of Belichick. Well, he
throws microphones on the ground, hedoes, he does. But this sounded
like he was on the other sideof the room. This is from the
Pats official site. Too much cooorballsecurity on offense, turn the ball over
too many times, got away fromthose you know, a few pounds and
didn't turn it over. It soundslike we're riding in a van with him
and we're in the back. Notgood enough, not good enough. That's

(38:07):
all done. Listening to mumbley.Yeah, that kicker you took in the
fourth round lost that game for youwell amongst other people. Yeah, xeelex.
Weather, sun and clouds. High'sin the fifties. Tomorrow's going to
be cold, afternoon flurries and windsthat could blow all your holiday decorations around.
So look forward to that. Hiestomorrow in the upper thirties forty nine,
forty eight degrees in Boston. I'mheather forward on a one hundred point seven
