(00:00):
One hundred point seven il Ex Boston'sclassic rock. We have breaking news out
of Heather's neighborhood. I just overheardyou talk to Pete about what I got
a message from my neighbor Michelle, who sent a picture of the house next
to me and my backyard, andit says, looks like there might be
a pot of gold in your yard, a sign for a splendid day.

(00:20):
And it is a rainbow. It'sover my neighbor's house, but into my
backyard. Right. The dogs beback there right now as I speak,
I wrote, and I quote, awesome. I just have to make sure
the dogs don't eat it. Yeah, you go right, double rainbow across
you. And we had nowhere torain, No, just a rainbow.

(00:43):
Where do you come from? Imean, you gotta have rain to have
rainbow. What happened there? Yeah? All right? Seven twenty three sun
in clouds today, mid seventies.Let's talk about money for a second here.
So you're familar with Dave Ramsey, that Dave Ramsey shows that financial guy.
I've heard of him, Yeah,I used to. I listened to
his podcast many years ago. Notso much anymore. It's sort of the

(01:04):
same thing over and over and overagain. Gets real preachy too. But
you know it's well, you've becomeyour own financial expert. I mean his
thing was you pay cash for everything, like everything, well except for your
home. That's his the Dave Ramseyway. And no credit, zero credit.
You know, don't be a wantto be great if everybody could do

(01:25):
that though, well that's the thing. Yeah, yes, don't be a
slave to the lenders. I thinkthis is saying anyway, So somebody called
into the Dave Ramsey Show. Thisis a dude who won the lottery,
and I'll ask you think about this. Would you do the same thing?
All right? Well, about abouttwo years ago I won one of those

(01:46):
multi state lottery drawings with a groupof co workers. And I haven't told
anyone besides my wife and besides onesibling. No one knows. And how
much my question for you, aftertaxes? It was about twenty two million
dollars after taxes, twenty forty fourmillion dollars twenty two million million dollar prize.

(02:08):
Still crush. Yeah, his life, He has not changed his life.
A lot of people know about it, though, because he did it
with a group of people. Howdid it not get back to yeah,
right, unless they just he nevermade if it was just him winning,
and I could see I could keepit away each getting twenty two. Yeah,

(02:29):
that was one of those big, like million situation this century. Yeah,
how old are he was? Itwas I'm edging up on about fifty
years old. Okay, okay,And so you haven't told anyone, and
I've got some guesses, but whyuh. Well, the first thing I
did when when I found out thatA one was was research and it said,

(02:52):
you know that you to read allthose one in five people lose their
lottery winnings or go bankrupt within tenyears. And one of the things they
all said was you tell too manypeople, and you get too many people
at your door asking for this, that and the other thing, asking for
handouts and expecting you to pay foreverything. So my wife and I made
a conscious decision just to kind ofkeep it under wraps. And it's kind

(03:15):
of we've kept keeping it under wraps. We haven't even told our two teenage
children. And now I know thatsounds strange, but we just don't want
them to grow up to be waiters, you know, waiting for us to
die so they can get our money. It makes sense. Yeah, I
mean, would you tell me.I wouldn't tell my kids. You wouldn't

(03:36):
tell you. But there'd be signs, like that's the joke. There'd be
signs. I'd have forty dogs, but there, Yeah, there would be
signs. But I wouldn't necessarily tellthem. No, not because I thought
they were waiting for me to die, but just because they would spread the
word. Well, there's that. But you also don't want to ruin their
lives with your money. Yeah, you don't. You don't want them to
become lazy. How would you dothat? I wouldn't be able to do

(03:57):
it. You'd be tough about now. So they were teenagers, that's what
I'm thinking about. Yeah, ofcourse, of course i'd tell them.
Yeah, but when she was younger, i'd have to tell her. I
would tell you, what right,I wouldn't. We don't need to play
the whole call. But but alsoin the call, this dude his house
was already His house was paid forbefore he even so it wasn't like all

(04:18):
of a sudden big things happened. He had a house, it was paid
for, he paid cash for histwo cars. Whatever. But in the
we only play the whole call. But my kids wouldn't know if my house
was paid for, by the way, So that's another thing, Like they
know we have a mortgage. We'vetried to talk to them about that,
but that's not something that I didn'tunderstand that at fifteen and seventeen, of

(04:38):
course not. But it just sohappened that his wife's great uncle passed away,
like the timing, like they hadwon this one. So they just
said we got money from him, correct, because when he bought a house
or not replaced the roof his mother'sroof. His mother said, how can
you afford to do this? Becausewe remember uncle John passed away. Oh,
so my wife got that money andthat's what we're using. And so
yeah, telling your kids, Ithink I think it's common sense that the

(05:01):
less people that know about it,the better to do. It's hard to
do. Well, we're all ina group, uh you know, lottery
or whatever. If we want.As a group, I'm actually pretty sure
I think we wouldn't tell people.I wouldn't the four of us. I
don't think any of us would belike, you wouldn't see me the next
day if we if we won twentytwo million dollars apiece. Absolutely you would

(05:24):
know. We're close to retirement anywaythough. Yeah, but you'd know.
I know, I'm just saying i'dbe my head wouldn't be the only thing
retired, but it would just berealistic. Here a few stuff, you
know what I mean. I wouldn'tdo that. I just disappear. That's
all right, right, Well toyour other home. Well, yeah wherever.

(05:45):
Well it's not twenty two million. But did you hear about the guy
in Medford here on Salem Street. He went into Tony's Convenience apparently and bought
the scratch ticket, a million dollarmoney maker scratch ticket, and uh,
I guess scratched it off and didn'treally notice or take a good enough look
at it, and just kind ofthrew it down, uh, you know,
with his stuff at the house, and his cleaning lady a few months

(06:10):
after the fact, was cleaning upand straightening up and tidying up, and
she finds the scratch ticket in avase like with a bunch of loose change
and stuff like that, thrown abunch of crap in there. The cleaning
lady picks up the scratch ticket, and upon further review, the guy hits
for a million dollar guy he tosseda million dollar like, yeah, he

(06:32):
had no idea that he'd even hit. I have done where I have done
that, where I've scratched a ticketand thought it was a loser and it
was like one hundred dollars winner. That has happened before. When my wife
double checked that, she goes, you know, this is a winning lottery
ticket. So this dude takes thecash option, which is a six hundred
and fifty thousand before taxes. Sohere's my question to all of you.

(06:53):
Your cleaning lady finds the scratch ticketfor a million bucks, what are you
giving her as a tip she's getting? Oh? If I was, you
wouldn't have had it without her.You wouldn't have give her ten percent.
The comedians, by comparison, aconvenience store just ten grand selling the ticket.
And she didn't just walk away withit because he would never have known.

(07:14):
So that's everyone sell sixty thousand dollars? Is what you do? You
each signed on the on the ticket. No, you wouldn't have known,
and she could have walked away withit. There's no way I'm letting her
sign that ticket. No, No, that would be right. I would
I would just give her ten percent, right right, I say six figures.
Yeah, I'm giving I'm giving hersix figures. Blend it with her.
Wow, that's ridiculous. It's nothers, you know, let her

(07:36):
go. She could have just walkedout of the house with it and kept
a million dollars. Yeah, shecould just grabbed the ticket. You say,
now, get out of my house. By the way, that place
is just a couple of blocks fromhere. If we wanted to go to
Salem Street. That's the most commercialfor classic rock in Boston. One hundred

(07:57):
points seven of Alex. Hey,my name's Kevin. That's Pete either Denny's
here seven forty four. Not agood date. It's warming up too,
it's getting warmers. Week moves onsun and clouds. Mid seventies today sixty
Right now, what's off? What'soff? After work yesterday I went street

(08:22):
to my Temple Street garage golf stationthere. Yeah, Temple Street and Route
nine. Get my truck inspected, which like six weeks overdue. I've gotten.
Uh, they're going to give youback so you get September sticker,
right. You know what's funny aboutthat? I thought about this before I
went back on the air. HereI didn't even look to see if they
put a sticker on, you knowwhat I'm saying. I'm sure they did,

(08:46):
but I don't know if it's forSeptember or October. I honestly can't
tell it's from when it was expiredSeptember because people remember when the state said,
because they used to do that, were these I would wait a month
or two moving ye, they're losingmoney that way, right, Okay?
All right, so you know,I going and make small talk with the
guy behind the counter. Mechanic pullsa truck in blah blah blah blah,

(09:09):
and I step outside. Is sucha beautiful day, I'm not going to
wait inside this little gas station, you know. And I'm just looking around
on the ground, you know, vaping, and I spot two pennies.
So the first thing in my mindis are they heads up? You know?
Because I can't see that far.I can't see six feet away,
right, So I've been not sureenough. Both pennies sitting right next to

(09:33):
each other. Heads up? Everytime it rains, it rains, pennies
from heaven? Both heads up?Do you know what to do? Then?
Right? I picked him up immediatelyI went back inside are there people
that see that and don't pick themup? I mean, of course,
is it an old person thing?I mean like I'm just saying, like,

(09:54):
is there like if you're fifteen orten or twenty years old you see
a penny heads up? Are theypicking up? Or is it just raised
that way? Same here? Yeah, I was raised And what do you
think are you kids? Like ifyour kid sees your sixteen year old seventeen,
he's seventeen, an he sees apenny heads up? Is he picking
it up? I don't know ifhe's paying attention? I ask him today

(10:16):
I can report back to me.I don't think you would know they're not.
There's lucky, the little one,you know, little he's fifteen soon,
he would probably pick it up.You would know that there's luck attached
to a head. But they alsoknow that. They would know that luck's
attached, but they would also knowthat we're in a world now where people
don't really pay with cash anymore, and people don't want to collect change,
Like change now is this fun thingthat we all put in a jug and

(10:39):
bring to a bank or a coinstar. I keep the lucky ones.
They have over fifty lucky pennies inthat, and yet you're still the unluckiest
person I know. I don't takesensely being talentless. You do have money,
which is lucky, But other thanthat, are they only good for
one luck? I'm just waiting.I'm building up luck, is what I'm
doing. I took the two penniesback into the store and immediately placed them

(11:01):
on the counter. I said,I just found these in your parking lot.
It's your parking lot, so Iwould like you to pick me to
ten dollars lottery tickets. That's anotherthing. When you find a penny heads
up, if it's at a gasstation, you immediate Kenny just won.
They found a penny and he wentinto a You hear the story about his
wife. If it was only headwas a two dollar bill. Yes,

(11:22):
Here's the other thing about Kenny, which he didn't tell you, is he
keeps a two dollars bill in hiscenter counsole in his truck and every truck
or every vehicle he's owned, hekeeps that two dollar bill in his center
counsole. Isn't that funny? Isthat I keep a fifty cent piece and
in my purse that I consider alucky one that I'd never taken out.
I don't know if he considers itlucky or just to have a couple of

(11:43):
bucks on hid Why do you keepa two dollar bill in your car?
Is it for luck or keep it? Yeah, just on the off chance
I might get some good luck.Oh? Ok so I randomly got it.
I remember, like the day Iwas going to pick up a new
vehicle and it I had it inmy my pocket. It was giving back
his change and I had it inmy pocket and I thought, oh,

(12:05):
well, maybe I'll put it inthe console with the loose change, and
I kind of forgot about it.And then when I went to change that
vehicle out and I got my solverAdo, it went in there, and
I was like, oh, I'mgoing to keep this. Okay, I
think it's kind of like a luckytwo dollars bill, so you can't go
And now it's in the smaller rate. Okay. So then your wife had
a two dollars bill in her wallwayshe randomly pulled it out of her purse.

(12:26):
Okay, that's all you have. That's so weird. The last time
I saw one, it was mineafter finding a penny. Yeah, so
then you immediately do what we do, and it's you bought a lottery take
I did after see what happened ayear It was a two dollars lottery tap,
that's rights, and we hit fortwo dollars. I think, yeah,
right, Well, so I picked, you know, those two pennies,

(12:50):
and the guy picked two cards forme, and I scratch used one
penny to scratch one ticket loser,So that's not a lucky penny, right
right, And so I put thatone away and took the other penny and
scratch that ten dollars ticket and itwas a twenty dollars winner. Yeah,
good for you. So then themechanic comes in, uh while I'm you
know, finishing up scratching that ticket, and he says, hey, can

(13:11):
you come here a second because he'sdoing the inspection on my truck. And
I walk out there into the garagewith him. He takes me around the
other side of the vehicle and hegoes, your pants, I had a
little accident as I was pulling yourtruck onto the lift. I punctured your
tire. Oh my, oh yeah, so he wrecked my front tire and
he goes, I am so sorry. It'll take me fifteen minutes to go

(13:35):
get a replacement. I'll get theexact same tire, come back and put
it on it. One were yourtires, though, so you're going to
have one brand new one and three. Like researched out a little bit and
I get twenty thousand miles on thesetires, so we're okay, we're still
somewhere. I would have been like, yeah, well, now you're replacing
the tires I did. It mightbe a dick. Yeah. If I
had forty thousand miles on it,yeah, I would have said, look

(13:58):
that's going to be on even pullup up a blah. So yeah,
I just did one. Well that'syour guy too, that's my guy,
my brakes. He's a good guy. He's always there for an oil change.
You know. I said, noproblem. But so yeah, there's
a little good luck bad luck, right, well, twenty sent like I
hit. Yeah, all I hadwas ten dollars about a ten dollars taken
one twenty so And I always scratchthe numbers backwards, you know, if

(14:20):
you know you won Oh see ifthere's a big zero or a little zero,
because it's a little zero, you'renot getting out. There's a question
because I will all answer mine atthe end. But did you guys hold
on to those lucky pennies? Doyou still have them? Well? Just
the one that was like you know, I do? I know? Yeah,
I have a drawer of them becauseours is still sitting on the kitchen
sure enough. Like I wonder ifabsolutely it was one and done, or

(14:41):
if there's any more mojo in it. I give them as gifts. I
will tape if I give somebody thatone. You get one of my lucky
penny would you do with it?Nothing? Do you have it? I
don't know, Probably in my chedrawer. Should I tape it to your
cards? Because I do that nowI tape my lucky pennies to cards,
since you're trying to get rid ofthem. Just actually, I think I
still have the card in my purse. I think it's in my place.

(15:05):
You'd be surprised what you're going todo. It might be in this sex
diary, right. I got aresponse from a guy on Twitter because I
posted that winning lottery ticket and theguy said he just he found a lottery
ticket, you know, on theground, picked it up and it turned
out to be a winner five dollarswinner. He went in the store and
one. You know, he'd gotthe five dollars, another five dollar ticket
and one and then he put fivebucks in his podcast said no, you

(15:26):
got to ride that money train.Manly, could you started with nothing ride
that money train? Yeah, it'sin my purse. It's still Probably you're
keeping something that I gave you that'saway. That's very nice you to do
that, that penny and all thesadness he brings tickets rock Maybe you'll be

(15:52):
lucky collar ten right now six oneseven, nine, three one, one
hundred point seven. This would befor Glinka when before you can even buy
him, they go on sale tomorrow. By the way, at ten am.
You don't get through. See youback here at three forty from the
Planet Fitness w CLX Studios. Now, thanks for making that part of your

(16:12):
morning idiot. Great story one sevenw CLX, Boston. Hey, what
a Belmont Because the headline on VZthis morning was there's video showing a mask
man lurking in Belmont backyards. Haveyou guys seen any of the video?
Is what lurking means standing around andnot going away, right, that's lurking.

(16:36):
Yeah, he's just kind of wanderingthrough all these backyards with a mask
on in the middle of the line. Stunt you might be a superhero.
I'll show you a still right, going to be frightened about it's just a
It doesn't look like a superhero.I'd be free. It's like a man
who's stealing panties. Honestly, Idon't know what's in his hands, but
he's fully masked up. Here's apolice chief of Belmont. Like most communities

(16:59):
we've been sub to, you know, house breaks where they said they tend
to come in clusters when we getthe feeling that they may have been testing
which backyards had activated lights. Inthe past, we have had instances where
people have parked vehicles and walked severalblocks to burglarize a home. Numerous neighbors

(17:19):
have caught him on camera near WatsonRoad. So if you're you didn't know
about this, and you're in Belmont, that's the area where it was at.
If you're in any of the roadsnear there, maybe he's been in
there as well. I hear somepeople's talking about it's disturbing and a bit
nerve wracking. Oh man, thatcould just come into our backyard. I
just feel as secure. You gottajust be a little bit more vigilant when

(17:44):
you you know, it takes anincident like this, I guess, to
wake people up out of their trainstealing stuff or is he just I don't
know. In one video, youcan see him creeping into someone's backyard trying
to avoid motion sensing lights. However, at one point he does trigger the
light. In the one video,he is wearing and it's a color camera,
he's wearing a black mask, purplehat, black pants, and a

(18:07):
gray shirt. It's not really descriptbut it's like, you know, it's
it's not a good description of thembecause it seems pretty average. But anyway,
he's just walking through. This isnot what we need right now.
It's creepy. We don't need someguy just wandering through backyards. And some
of these yards look fenced, solike he's well, he's opening the fence
and he's walking through neighbor of MiningConnecticut. Has the motion I mean,

(18:30):
he's like obsessed. Is this theone? The Greek family? The other
family cross the street to the pointwhere every time I pull my car in
because the house is are right ontop of each other, that his whole
house lights up every time. IfI go to put the trash out.
His whole house lights up. A. Yeah, a bad neighborhood. Well,
it's a good you know, ina way it's it's sort of a
good thing. But I mean Itrigger it every time. You know,

(18:52):
our motion sensing lights face the bedroomsof our neighbor and when they went out,
which was pretty soon after we movedin, like they stopped working,
you know, they blew. Ijust looked at my husband and go,
we don't need it, Like, there's no reason for that thing to go
off because of the way our housesface into their bedrooms every time something walks

(19:15):
into our driveway. Yeah. Right, But in my neighborhood, there is
one person who will go to allthe homes around him and tell them that
they are not allowed to keep theirfront door light on after a certain hour
at night. Yeah, because thisis a safe neighborhood and we don't need
that kind of light. Like Ihad a whoa, that's just a door

(19:37):
that's like a front door light. He will not tolerate any you know,
all of this talk of Belmont toavoid the big story of the day,
which is taking place in Maine. If you didn't know, there was a
there's a mass shooter on the loop. You think they're going to get him
today, So I hope they gethim in that Aaron Pennington. Yeah,
that Pennington's the guy and gardener whois accused of shooting his wife, who
left a note that said shoot herin the head. Think about how many

(20:00):
families are affected by this. Whathappened last night in a nutshell, a
man walked in with an AR styleweapon. The death toll somewhere between sixteen
and twenty twenty two. There's eightypeople who were injured. He walked into
a bowling alley on a teen night. It was youth night, and this
is a place where birthday parties are. And then he walked into a bar

(20:22):
and grill and now he's missing. And he is a trained Army firearms instructor
and who was mentally ill, whospent two weeks in a mental institution this
summer. He also mentioned that hewould like to shoot up the military base
that he but those people are definitelyarmed. He was hearing voices too,
Yeah right, Yeah, recently losthis job having been traded at a mental

(20:47):
institution. You would think that thepeople that know red flag take weapons away.
How do you take weapons away froma person who knows how to use
them, really, well, youjust walk into their house and take it.
I mean, have you ever triedto take Have you ever try to
wrestle a gun out of someone's arms? Well, I'm saying you had him
in the mental institution, you getrid of his guns. No, some
states don't have laws like that.I'm just saying his family members or friends,

(21:10):
right, But you again, ifyou ever tried to wrestle a gun
out of a fan in the mentalinstitution, he doesn't have guns there?
Well there you have safes, Like, how are you going to get them
out of his house? How doyou have access to his house? Leake,
You can't legally take his weapons. No, I'm just saying you make
an effort, make an effort armedsomething you can't. I mean, in

(21:32):
certain states it's probably want to makean effort. Maybe they did, but
maybe he still just has all thosefirearms. I mean it's not like he
might. He probably has more thanone, probably keeps them in lots of
places. And if you're scared ofhim, you probably don't go in his
house too much. I mean,it's it's one thing to say, why
didn't people take the guns away, but you one, you can't legally,

(21:53):
someone can't walk in there, evenif they're family, they'd have to have
access to his house. They don'twant to be charged with breaking and entering.
No, of course, no,I mean there's nothing you can do.
I just feel like there's something canbe done to keep out of the
hands of somebody who is in amental institutions. There are some states that
have that law, but I don'tthink most states do. And people will

(22:15):
say most people people will fight thatlaw. They won't want that. They
see it as an aggression, aggressiontowards Second Amendment. Most people in may
have a gun in their house andyou better believe or no, I mean
a lot of them, high higherpercentage than other states. Probably. I
don't know, you know those gunsaround. So I think about the first

(22:36):
responders and the people that you know, aside from the families that are affected
by this tragedy, those people andwhat they're dealing with at those hospitals.
Oh yes, oh my god, thousands of the injuries that are coming in.
I'm concerned about law enforcement right nowbecause they're dealing with a man who
is a firearms instructor. Yeah, yes, and it's very dangerous for them.

(22:56):
It is. You can wear avest, but you can't cover your
face. You know, you meanyou can, but you can't. Right,
And this isn't the last one,you know. I mean, we'll
stop talking about it in a coupleof days and then that'll be it.
We'll move on to the next one. Yeah, they never seem to end.
Never. For instance, I'm gonnamove on to a story that says
on Boston, twenty five city sizecomet racing towards sun re grows horns after

(23:21):
massive volcanic eruptions. I heard aboutthis a few days ago. It looks
like the devil or something. Canyou even that is an actual headline?
It wasn't a mad libs. Citysized comet racing towards sun re grows horns
after massive volcanic eruptions. Sounds aboutright. So they said it's the size

(23:41):
of three Mount Everests and that it'sjust huge, and that what the volcano
is the fact that the inside's filledwith ice and as it gets close to
the sun, it's boiling and thehorns come out. Yeah, and the
horns come out, And the nexttime it will be seen is in twenty
ninety five. So if you cansee it now, then you you need

(24:07):
a telescope to see it quarter lifescience. I don't know you're going to
see it streaking across the sky oreighteen point six miles wide filled with ice,
dust and gas. I don't know. And Satan and Satan you know
if it's near Uranus? Go ahead, Kevin, try to just I want
you to say, without laughing,do you know if it's near Uranus?

(24:27):
I said, say, without laughing? Is it heading towards the sun?
It's nowhere? You're near Uranus? For when they change that, they would
all those years in school where wethought Pluto was a planet and the planet
the other planet was pronounced Uranus.Do they really have to change all the

(24:49):
things on us now? They do? Zeleix Weather, Sun and clouds and
seventies today and tomorrow sixty degrees inBoston. I'm Heather Ford on one hundred
point seven wuc LA, Austin's classicrock Carlson Mackenzie, Heather Kenny eight fifteen,
Son of Clouds, mid seventies sixty. Right now it's Carlson Mackenzie and
Heathers what what the moment of theday on w CLX. Two things that

(25:14):
feel good after you've had them done. Actually, there's a lot of things
that feel good, but it likelike a teeth cleaning, Oh yeah,
and a new haircut. Haircut feelsgood. I always feel like I need
to take a shower after a haircut, though. Why those little hair because
the hairs everywhere? Yeah, they'reall over. What if you could get
your haircut at work? No,hmmm, I mean for men I got

(25:37):
during the pandemic. I was cuttinghair at the pub when it was you
know, we had it as aspeak easy. Remember were inside the restaurant?
Oh yeah, yeah, well,I mean nobody was you know what
I mean. It was the speakeasy So it was just right. The
people who knew to go in theback door and I'd bring my clippers down
there and I cut I cut Paul'sdad's hair. You wouldn't do it in
the restaur would you do it inthe kitchen? No? Okay, now,

(26:00):
because that has happened in the kitchen. It has happened. Yeah,
So that is the that's the question. It's two things that aren't supposed to
go together, haircuts in fast food. But the Howard County Health Department has
now opened up an investigation into thisTaco Bell after reports of a new hairdoo
happening in the kitchen. Oh jeez, yeah, there's a picture going around

(26:25):
of somebody getting their haircut in thekitchen of a Taco Bell. Beit.
Yeah, Jeffer Legear was shocked whenshe saw this happening in the Taco Bell
she now used to work at.Last week, an employee giving another employee
a haircut. Even worse, shesays, they were just feet from where
food was being made. I wasjust really shocked to look back and see

(26:47):
someone cutting hair in a kitchen I'venever I've never been. I also feel
like I did the right thing. You did the right thing. There's nothing
wrong with that. Wow. Threeyears in fast food in the late seventies
for me at Burger King, neversigny by get a haircut. There so
a lot of coworkers pick noses andstuff like that, But clipping fingernails what
I saw for the first time everin my life. I don't know how

(27:07):
I've gone this whole time. Iwas someplace I won't say where. I
saw a kid with his parents andhe was doing something, and all of
a sudden, he picked his nose. He looked at it and he ate
it. Oh yeah, I neverseen anyone do that outside of a movie.
I wonder if there were guys inthe bushes nearby betting on it.

(27:34):
Mackenzie and Heather's won the Moment ofthe Day weekdays at eight one seven w
c l X w LX, Boston'sclass for off. A lot of times,
you know, during the songs,we just sit here and uh,
you know, way for the songto end or paint, and I like
to talk about gambling and how badwe are at it, and uh,

(27:56):
you know, we were just talkingabout the Pats line, how it has
not moved. They're still getting nineand a half points Sunday against the Dolphins.
Nobody's putting any money on the Patriots. See now, I would think,
geez, that's so many flipping points. What do I know? I
would think you'd take the Patriots there, you know, I know, yeah,
I'm surprised that line hasn't moved. With the news of Tyreek Hill,
the little water bug athlete, superathlete, yeah, likely being out or

(28:22):
oh gee, or to him notbeing available injury. So Mac was at
the podium yesterday and it's to yourtypical Mac Jones. I give the guy
credit. I mean, he's done. He does remain positive, you know
what I mean. You root forhim, don't you. I do?
Yeah, I do too. Idon't. Yeah, he's likable enough,
But I really just want to,you know, build off the momentum and

(28:45):
continue to do it, you know, do it over and over again.
Stick to the process, have expectationsfor yourself, and don't pay attention to
the other expectations because momentum in itselfis doing it over and over again.
That's what momentum does. Do itthat does it over and over to keep
its momentum. What are your expectations? Expectations are high? I mean expectations.

(29:07):
Uh, you got to expect theexpectations to be expected. I don't
expect the expect I don't know. You got to expect the unexpected, all
right. I think that's what hebasically what he was saying. And it's
important to play with the mentality andlike we always talk about run the ball
through the ball, whatever you haveto do. It's so funny because it's

(29:30):
like we're gonna, you know, gon you They're gonna hike the ball to
me. I'm gonna throw the ball, somebody's gonna catch it. They're gonna
run with it. And we're learning. We're gonna try to learn how to
fly, is what we're going totry to do. We're gonna try to
defy gravity if all those those areall things that you do. If we
can defy gravity, we're gonna winif you can. What stop it?
He didn't dress up as light orwhatever whatever it is, and so did

(29:52):
like four other guys. It waslike they had a bunch of costumes.
The big fat lineman there right thecenter. Yeah, did you see,
he admitted yesterday something. They askedhim if he had seen Star Wars.
Yeah. Well he's a young guy, right, yeah, but I could
see guys his age not watching theoriginal Star Wars. Oh, my kids
have seen it. They think it'sfunny because I've only seen the original one

(30:15):
time. Like I haven't seen noStar Wars after the original because I just
didn't care about it. Okay, and that's it. Why would I need
to see a sequel. But theyasked him they couldn't believe that he had
never seen the original Star Wars, you know, And they asked Mac yesterday,
Max, Oh yeah, so here'sanother little thing. So Gronk and

(30:38):
Patrick Chung are podcasting yesterday, andso, you know, after the win,
you would say that's a it wasa pretty good win against the Bills.
Correctly, Yes, yeah, Imean that was another spread that was
seven or eight points if I remember, you know, I mean they were
supposed to get killed, you know, and so, but that was a
pretty exciting win. I mean youexpected, you know, but well,

(31:00):
the anticipation is for the next game. Can they keep it going, you
know, because they're still two andfive. So Gronk is bashing the Patriots
for celebrating too hard after beating theBill, the man who's known as the
person who celebrates the hardest. Well, his take was, you know,
act like you've been there, youknow what I mean, a completely new

(31:21):
team, dude. I thought itwas interesting if you asked me, that
celebration was pretty ridiculous. Chung,Whenever we celebrated just a little bit,
we would get hounded. They justwant one game, and they celebrated like
more than we would when we wona Super Bowl. I mean, it
was a big deal for them.It was like it was like one of
the most absurd celebrations. Like I'mlike Wow, they won a game.

(31:42):
They they went that crazy like theyacting like they've never been there before.
Chung, So what do you thinkabout there? What do you think?
Chung agrees or gritty and all overthe place like to an absurd level.
Chong, what do you think aboutit? I mean time a different girl,
you know that, I mean youngerkids. And at the same time,

(32:04):
Bro, it's division win, verymuch needed, you know. So
that's a big booster for the team. So whatever they got to do,
celebrate. All you want to isjust win some more games will be good.
But we did get hounded though.I used to try to pump the
crowd up when I was younger, and Bill would say, stop worrying about
pubbing up the crowd and cover thetight end, all right, coach,

(32:25):
my bag Who Fighters one hundred pointseven? If you'll see Boston's flying?
You said it. You said itthe way Kenny does. Who Fights?
He did a little bit do itunconsciously? Now, Hello Eire on Saturday
Night Live this weekend. Oh that'sright with one of my BARGATSI favorite new
comics. Okay, he's clean. It's one of those clean he doesn't work

(32:52):
blue downright funny, he's got liketwo or three specials on Netflix. Uh
Bargatzi very funny anyway, But yeah, food Fighters on Saturday Night Live eight
forty sixty one degree Kenny has beenraising money all this month. He's been
wearing pink every day. Yeah, men wear pink and this would be for

(33:15):
the cancer American can American Cancer Society, And what do we have for all
your generous donations? And thank thisshow for giving me the platform to tout
the horn and all the great workat American Cancer Society. Men wear Pink
of Boston do so as of rightnow, eight forty on this Thursday morning,
the twenty sixth day of the month. Yes, I have surpassed my

(33:37):
goal of twenty five hundred dollars.Ooh and I sid y oh. That's
everybody's plack two thousand, eight andtwenty nine dollars, all right, So
when you get to three thousand dollars, I want to know who was the
person that donated nine dollars. Theyjust couldn't go that extra. Miley don't
know how did I get to twentynine dollars? I think, oh,

(33:59):
maybe they over one hundred and somethingdollars. I'm not going to round up.
Yeah, yeah, they covered thefee, Kenny, Yeah, there
is a service fee. Yeah,so they took a dollar off what they
donated. So maybe they donated ten, but since they covered the fee,
you only got nine. I thinkthat's what maybe I don't know is that.

(34:19):
I mean, what are my onehundred and something dollars one hundred and
seventy one dollars away? Let's getthat'd be awesome, could do it?
I mean, I've gotten until nextTuesday, so there's still time for you
to smash that link in my bioand maybe donate a couple bucks. Very
nice, thank you, so thankyou for everyone to donate. Speaking a
box like would you pay to golisten to Dolly Parton's rock album at a

(34:39):
theater? So what she's doing isshe's sort of taking a page from Taylor
Swift while she is and she's bringingher album to the big screen. Is
that? Uh? Of course thealbum is called rock Star, Yes or

(35:01):
no? This is thirty five songs. The answer is no, I'll answer
for you. I just don't thinkshe has the mass appeal. That's cute.
Fact. Watch it on Netflix though, because I watch all those concert
videos on Netflix. Okay, butyou're not going into a theater to You're

(35:22):
not going to a listener party forDolly Parton's rock and roll album. So
sorry, Dolly ain't happening. Bythe way, I did have a we
don't have time for it, butI had a Kim Kardashian sex dream I've
only had. Uh, well, you've actually seen her have sex, so
it's not as I'm not overly butI'm not overly attracted to Kim Kardashian,

(35:42):
which is interesting. But I wasnever really a Dolly super fan either until
I had that sex dream. Anyway, that'll be if it makes you feel
any better. Kim Kardashian is notthat attracted to you, you know.
No that we haven't met. I'mcharming, Okay, you have that nice
little ass compared to her big oiand yet her butt is still smaller than
Kevin's. It's just on her bodyway different. No, that ass is

(36:07):
bigger than yours. Kevin's asses howwide is? She's only five foot two,
yours as much wider? Google, how wide is? I'm sure somebody's
taking a tape measure to her.I'm just telling you right now, big
money willing to put money there's noway to figure it out. We'll find
well, we'll measure my ass.I mean, if we had her butt

(36:30):
here and yours, yours is bigger. I'm sure. Are you telling me
there's no information online about how bigher butty go? You know there is?
You think her butt is wider thanKevin's? Oh god, yeah,
hell wider. It might not bewider than mine, but Kevin's ass is
narrow. He has no ass. It's it's still wider. She's five foot
two, she's saying, because I'mfat wide. You know what I'm saying.

(36:51):
You're like, there's no clothes. If her butt was though, I'm
going to say that her sized body, yes, it's like mine's two bread
boxes. Hers is four at least, you know. All right, Let's
go to Hanson. Hey, Dave, how you doing? I expected him
to hang up at this point. Are you ready to play the game here?

(37:14):
I am all right. So yougot your smarts and you're ready to
go. Let's play. Now thathe's grown a full beard, he's ready.
Let's play. The guest. Comeon, class Stave if you're playing
for tickets to the Getty Lee BookTour night at the Orpheum theater. Getty
will read from his book it's calledMy FM Life. He'll do it.

(37:37):
You and a You can ask hima question. If you're a Rush fans,
h try here we go, fivequestions to you, and then the
same five go to Kenny. Okay, Dave, Ready, let's go.
I'm sorry to extend this, butI just looked up some information. It's
available on Cafe mom dot com.Kim Kardashian said her her butt is not
fifty five inches big. It istwelve inches off that number. So that's

(38:01):
all forty three inches. So ifwe want to take a tape measure all
the way around Kevin the hips,Yeah, there's no but it's forty three
inches. No way. Okay,I'm still thinking you still think that her
ass is bigger than mine. Idon't absolutely I agree with you. Okay,
Okay, So Dan is it orDave? Dave? Dave? Sorry

(38:22):
Dave, see you've been on solong I forgot your name. Uh.
The topic is, it's a littledifferent classic rock song titles with parentheses in
other words, like Aerosmith, dudelooks like a lady, It's dude and
then looks like a lady is inparentheses right, Okay, Okay, here's
where we're going. Bluet eyster cultsdon't feel the Reaper is don't fear?

(38:49):
Or the Reaper in parentheses? TheReaper now don't fear is in parentheses.
Uh, the song the song isBig Bad Bill is Sweet William Now and
that that part's in parentheses. Andyeah, so Big Bad Bill is Sweet

(39:10):
William Now is in parentheses? Isthat song by van Halen or Rush Rush?
It's van Halen's song A little bit, Yeah, it's a little bit
tough. Which part of the doorssong title is in parentheses? Break on

(39:31):
through or to the other side,to the other side? Correct? All
right? You got to fight foryour right to party has two sets of
parentheses. But name the band forme? Yes? And in the Brian

(39:51):
Adams song title everything I Do orI Do it for You is in parentheses.
I do it for you, noteverything I do is you know.
I don't know. I think he'llfollow me. He's a smart guy,
but I don't think he's that smart. So the top of Kenny is classic

(40:12):
rock song titles with parentheses. Songtitles like Dude Looks Like a Lady is
in parentheses. Cobby, that blueoyster cults. Don't Fear the Reaper is
don't fear or the Reaper in parentheses? Uh, the first one, don't
fear? Correct? The song BigBad Bill is Sweet William Now is in

(40:35):
parentheses? Is that song by vanHalen or Rush van Halen? That's air?
Which part of the doors song titleis in parentheses? Break on through
or the other side? The othersides in parentheses? That's correct. You
gotta fight for your right to party. That's got two sets of parentheses.
But just name the band because you'rehurting my brain with that one. In

(41:00):
the Brian Adams song title is everythingI do or I do it for you
in parentheses? I do it foryou? Everything I do is in parents?
What are we gonna do tomorrow?I'm lots, all right, I'm
responsible for tomorrow. Oh gammer, can you just accept it was different?

(41:22):
I'm just busting jobs, that's all. How did our boy Dave do?
He stunk it up? He did, cous plus he's been on the phone
for ten minutes, Dave, youhave brought shame to your house. Sorry
Dave? Yeah, all right,we'll catch it down then, Okay,
all right, Dave. Guys inparentheses have a good day. All right,

(41:46):
we'll take color ten now if youwant to go hang with Geddy Lee
six one seven, nine, threeone one und point seven see all as
Boston's classic crock. Carlson Mackenzie atfifty three Thinking of OZI so Ozzie,
you know, in that podcast hedoes with the Family, Ozzie says that

(42:06):
the whole band, you know,Black Sabbath, they all went to see
the original Exorcist together back in theday, Like, the whole band went
to see the movie and it frightenedthem to the point. Well, I'll
let him explain. Well, it'stough to understand what he's saying, but
what he's saying translated before we hearit, well, I don't know should

(42:27):
I away go for it? Basicallyhe's what he's gonna say is they were
so scared that the whole band slepttogether in the same room that night.
You know. Yeah, the managerPatrick Man comes from and I says,
you got to go and see this. I'll tell you a consideration. Up
until the Exorcies was brand new FXbecause before you can see the strings of
the bat round real. So hegoes, you gotta s he's filming the

(42:52):
excess to it. In Philadelphia,we all go sitting for in a row,
he said. In Philadelphia, hesaid, they all went, they
all sat in the front rows.Said. Wow, that's a lot of
work trying to figure out what hesaid. That's scared black seventh, that's
scared. At the end of thething, we were going to see the
Sting after we wanted to go seethe Sting. Yeah, because we spent

(43:15):
that it together in the one room, full room was cuddled black Sabbath cuddle
puddle, cuddle puddle. The fourrooms they all slept together in one room
because they were so scared by theway that movie is completely bombed. The
new exercise. Actually, really theylost, did you hear? They bought
the producers or whoever the people withthe money, paid half a billion dollars

(43:38):
for the name for the Exorcist, the rights to the Exorcist franchise half a
billion, five hundred million. Imean every time though the Exorcist gets played,
the other one, they get thatmoney too. They bought right,
but still they should you know whatthey should do at Halloween next year?
They should re release the original wellknow, and they'll make a ton of

(43:59):
money. Well will they release theoriginal original meaning I mean what I mean
is the subliminal message original because thatmovie had subliminal messages in it, like
terrifying car accidents. You know, like commercials used to have subliminal messages.
You never heard that something that justshows the screen, true, Yeah,
like that's what I heard. I'veheard that. I heard it like recently,

(44:22):
like this week, that The Exercisthad those kind of clips in it
where you could the naked eye couldn'tsee it, but it was subliminal.
That's great. Yeah, they shouldrelease that one. I'm here. That's
for the first time. I didn'tknow that. Yeah, that's interesting.
I didn't research it. I heardthat from somebody that I was talking to
the Exorcist movies. But I rememberthe subliminal messages and commercials. Oh yeah,

(44:43):
I want to believe you, soit wouldn't surprise me about the exercise.
Oh that's interesting, okay, butI had one hundred points seven CLX
Boston Rock Carlson Mackenzie had sixty oneright now, whoa yeah, one more

(45:07):
time wrap it up. Ruins oneof three teams for the first time in
NHL history to go six oh andoh to start a season. Okay,
alright, for seven o O tonightagainst the Ducks. I got an idea

(45:27):
for a sign tonight. Come onboard. I wish I was going to
the game because I would totally makethis sign. All right. You know
my new favorite player he has beenfor the past, Yes, number fifty
one, Matthew Patra. I sawhim in training camp, but just loved
him then, and now he's justmeeting all my expectations. It's great.

(45:50):
I got an idea. They're callinglike Andy Brickley's calling him the kid,
the kid, the kid this hecan't call him the kid that. You
can't do that because we are there'salready sid the Kid, Sid Cross,
Sidney Crosby got he got the kid, You got kidd? Oh the boy.
Yeah. But here's a great ideafor a sign. Because he's so
young years old. When he scoresa goal, you hold up a sign

(46:12):
that says you just got potty trained. That's a good one, Matthew Potra,
you just got potty trained. Allright? Just put number fifty one
on the sign. You don't evenneed to put his name. Idea,
Yes, okay, I don't needto sell it. I just want to
see it. Somebody, somebody gotyou did he didn't, stupid ducks.

(46:37):
I still struggle, to be honestwith the Other thing I saw on social
media was and I know it's aday or two late, but I just
saw it, and maybe you haven'tseen it either. It's a Philly fans
coming out of the stadium after losingthe last two games at home. The
only video I saw was the onewith the guy with one tooth? Was
that the guy? That guy withone tooth? He was after game six?

(46:59):
Okay, I did so. Thisis after game seven? All right,
Philly fans, you know, andof course they lost to the Diamondbacks,
and Diamondbacks are going to the WorldSeries. We had whole field for
two games. We had home fieldfor games, all right, whole field
for two games. Two games. You let them come here and bid us

(47:21):
Phillies need to sell trade turnat videoWe went father without that guy to honestly
trade the whole team. This team, Philly fans, we always think,
man, now it's just straight garbage. That is really some strong stuff for
a team that was that close togoing to the World soon. Wow,
I hope they never played baseball gameagain. Upper feeling like I want to

(47:43):
go lay in traffic. I lovehow we spent seven hundred mil for guys
that go for twelve combined. Let'sgo jets overpaid on I'm crying instead of
that. How about you shut up? You know what? You know other
parts of the country have they've playedBoston fans that have made fun of us.
You know that has happened. Butwe make fun of ourselves. I

(48:07):
get the impression that they don't knowone around there makes fun of themself,
right, It could be they're notself deprecating. It is in Floyd one
hundred point seven. If you'll seea lax Boston's classic rock Carlson McKenzie Overton.
So Roger Waters did a redo ofthe Dark Side of the Moon,

(48:29):
and I would just look on thebillboard charts to see if it was on
there. It is, really itis ranked This is the Dark Side of
the Moon Redo one hundred and fortytwo on Billboards two hundred. But I
can tell you how many actual copiesof the album we're sold so far.
It's been a couple of weeks. You think you're locking in at four thousand

(48:52):
albums. Of course, back inthe day, boy when a rock and
roll band released an album. Theywere popular, sell a million albums,
Pete, how many? Eight?Oh yes, eight thousand, eight hundred
copies. That is not I wouldn't. That's not great, you know.

(49:12):
But about Hackney Diamonds, is thaton the list? Oh? I haven't.
I didn't look it up. I'lllook that up. We'll talk about
it tomorrow. Yeah, I can'thave everything at mine. Your fingers,
My fingers are fat, right, because I know my buddies ordered Hackney Diamonds.
Really get it delivered. One ofthem goes ten am Monday physically getting
the album. Not a down Yeah, god, okay, So have you

(49:34):
seen the video of the Amazon driverwho stomped I don't know if they're calling
it a stomp box challenge or somethingon social media. The Amazon driver who
delivered the package put it on thestoop, took a picture of it,
you know, to verify it thathappens, and then picks up the picks
up the package and then stomps onit. Yeah, that's so this woman

(49:58):
out in California, Why would youdo any of that? Knowing everybody's got
all these cameras, right, Sothe nest, her nest camera picked the
whole thing up, and so they'retrying to figure out why this Amazon driver,
why he is mad, and ifthis is becoming some sort of what
they call a stomp box challenge.I don't know. Looks on my next
camera and I just seen that guyjust basically chucking the package to the door.

(50:21):
In the video, you see thedriver delivering the package and taking a
photo for Amazon is proof of delivery. He then picks up the package and
steps behind the pillar. How weused to say he went postal like a
post because of post war went Amazon, went Amazon. Now. It took
me a minute to comprehend exactly whatwas going on, and then I kind
of played it back and I sawhim stomping on the package. Finally he

(50:44):
grabs the package and throws it atthe front door. I really want to
know what he was thinking, likewhy he decided to do all that.
The delivery driver was gone by thetime Mandy stepped outside. The package was
a three hundred and fifty dollars WiFi routing system. Yeah, yeah,
everybody's got most people, I don'tknow, maybe most people don't have,

(51:04):
but you assume that people are recordingthat they have some sort of he obviously
wasn't even looking, but that ringdoor bell. Remember the time I caught
the guy taking a leak? Youmean the guy that was working at your
house? Yeah, working on myown. Where did you expect him to
go? Well, I'm just sayinghe took a leak, and so my
camera picked it up. But alsoon the camera was his boss going,
can't you see there's a ring can? Oh? Yeah, I got the

(51:27):
whole thing. And then you chimein, You're like, yeah, I'm
watching everything, you know. Imean you got to look and see if
they watch live, right, Icouldn't. Yeah, I can talk to
them too, but it was arecording. I did capture that, So
all right, have a good day. Carter Allen show kicks off next to
the returned Tomorrow morning with five thirtyten, and would appreciate you doing the

(51:49):
same. Someone needs to make surethese guys show up on one hundred point
