Chuck Schumer surrenders in an unbelievable reversal. The Senate minority
leader vowed repeatedly all week there was going to be
a government shutdown this weekend. Even though the House Republicans
passed what's called a continuing resolution funding the government until

the end of the fiscal year, which is September thirtieth,
Schumer said they were not gonna let the Republicans break
the filibuster and invoke cloture. Absolutely not. You need sixty
votes to break the filibuster. Schumer said the Democrats would
hold the line thereby not passing any funding bill, blocking

it triggering a government shutdown. And Schumer said he would
stake his reputation on it that Trump is a dictator.
Trump is destroying the country democracy, and now the Democrats
will take their stand and make the case to America

that they will not fund Trump's priorities. And then he
began to look at the focus groups and the polling,
and what he realized is a government shut down, the
Democrats and Schumer in particular would be blamed. And so
what did Chuck you Schumer do? He did a complete

one point eighty. He went from thumping his chest shut down,
shut down, shut down, bring it on two. Sorry, we
don't want a government shut down. It's going to hurt
us politically. Schumer said he's going to vote for the
Republican bill, and enough Democrats will support it to give

him the sixty votes. And this thing is over, my friends.
Donald Trump called Chuck Schumer's bluff, and Schumer folded like
a cheap suit. And now the problem is that the
progressive Democrats, the radical left, the activist base of his

party is absolutely furious. They are enraged with Schumer. They
feel lied to, they feel played, and above all, they
feel betrayed. And now all over social media they are asking,
almost demanding, that Alexandria Okazio Cortes AOC primary, Chuck Schumer

(02:41):
and take his Senate seat. And I'm telling you, my friends,
Schumer is now politically in big, big trouble. He is
vulnerable on his left flank to a primary challenge by AOC.
Bernie's against him, Warrens against him, AOC, the squad is

against him. The hard left, which is increasingly now the
power or the center of power in the Democratic Party,
now wants Schumer gone. My prediction, there is now a
political civil war that has broken out within the Democratic
Party and the old guard establishment embodied exemplified by Nancy

Pelosi or in this case by Chuck Schumer, are going down.
If AOC primary Schumer, she will win and Chuck Schumer
will be swept into the dust bin of history. The
old Guard is finished, the new Guard is rising. Chuck

Schumer bet the farm on a government shutdown, and now
he's going to reap the whirlwind. Get thunder on the right,
This is now thunder on the left, and Schumer and
the old Democrats are going to be its number one victims.

To Chuck Schumer, it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
He's been, to me, one of the most despicable politicians
in the last thirty years. He's vile, he's corrupt, and
he is someone who has been a staunch opponent of

Trump since day one. If anyone needs to be defeated,
it's him. And now he's going to get the political bullet,
not from the right, but from the left. Democrats are
now eating their own and now Chuck Schumer is next

on the menu. Nice knowing you, Chuck, and I hope
you enjoy the ride down because that's where you're going.
You brought in AOC, you brought in the radical left,
and now you've created a Frankenstein's monster in which they're
going to devour you and every other establishment Democrat. Chuck
