WDA, I try to put upstories every now and then. I do
want to put up a question foryou guys to answer for me to see
what y'all think about it. SoI'll do that in a moment. But
let me get to a few things. I'm sending up a lot of love
and prayers to those kids over atWhite Haven High School, you know,

(02:28):
Stan mentioned last week as a matterof fact, that the power there was
a power issue out there. Ijust happened to be in that area at
the why the YMCA over there whenthe power outage happened. And yeah,
those kids were taking their tests, the TEACAP tests, and they didn't get
to finish. Keith Williams, withthe Teachers Union and also represents the White

(02:50):
Haven area on the school board, says, right now, the Department of
Education and Memphis Shelby County Schools havenot resolved last week's issues. What in
the world, Well, they needto get to that because hopefully and prayer
for these kids won't be negatively impacted. I hope that does not happen.
So, yeah, you guys canhit me up tell me what you think
about that. Hopefully they're gonna they'regonna help these kids out. Y'all think

(03:12):
they're gonna do it. I thinkthey will. I think they'll come through
and make sure that everything's okay.Had a girlfriend that went down to South
Haven over the weekend. We finallyI dug into it. I had to
find out what happened down there. She didn't know she went to the spring
theest in South Haven and she said, we just started people started running and

(03:34):
we just started running with them.Has it ever happened to you you saw
somebody running, you just started runningwith That happened to me one time.
I was at the fair and Ijust these folks took out running. I
said, I was running too.I was like, where are we going?
What's going out? But my girlfriendsaid she never could figure out what
happened. So there was a reportyesterday saying that the police said they were
just ending early out of precaution. But now, honey, Fox thirteen,

(04:00):
babe, they dug a little deeplefound out it was a brawl type fist
fight that led to the closure.I saw the story too, where the
seven year old was trampled down there. So just wondering if y'all were at
the spring Fest on yesterday. Yeah. May Or Musselwhite said that there were.
It was an unusually large number ofpeople present and that the panic which

(04:23):
spread through the crowd caused the dangerof its own. The panic itself created
a public danger as massive crowds beganto run. And like my girlfriend,
she said she didn't know what shewas running for. She just ran.
Everybody else was running, so shedid it too, Yeah, but that's
what it was. I had tocall Maryland and tell honey, it was
a fist fight that happened and peoplewere running. She said that she had

(04:46):
heard that maybe somebody displayed a gun. But police came from everywhere, she
said, and they ended up beingokay. But it ended a little bit
earlier, I guess because of thatfist fight. Yeah, and a little
early. Okay. I got aquestion, so I saw this on social
media. Gilbert Arenas, the formerNBA star. You know, he proposed

(05:10):
to his girlfriend, gave a fourhundred thousand dollars ring, Yes, he
did. They broke up eight dayslater. They broke up evidently maybe he
had asked her for the ring backand she wouldn't give it to him at
any rate. They eventually made up, and he faked a relationship y'all with

(05:34):
her for like four months so thathe could switch out that fake, that
real ring for a fake version. He's a cold piece NBA player, Gilbel
Arenas, He's a cold piece. He switched out the ring, y'all.
She sued him, by the way, and she lost. What do y'all

(06:00):
think about that? Is he wrong? Was he wrong? I say?
He was dead wrong. He gaveher a ring. I probably would have
sued him too, but I wouldhave expected them for different circumstances. Man.
She sued and lost. You giveher the ring. You don't take
it back you if you give itto her, But give her, he

(06:23):
proposed, gave her a four hundredthousand dollars ring. Eight days later,
relationship was over. They made up. He faked it for four months,
switched that ring out for a fakeone, honey, and I guess he
dumped her again. She sued himand she lost. He was wrong.

(06:46):
Y'all tell me, wd I alisteners, what you think about that and
all the other stuff that's going onaround here. And watch out for scams
too. These people who they are? They they scamming people like it's a
job, and I guess it isfor some people. That's scamming forelks.
They they scanning people right and left. Miss Mona told me what happened to
her. I'll tell you about thata little bit later on in the hour
nine O one five three five ninethree four two eight hundred five zero three

(07:11):
nine three four two eight three threefive three five nine three four two.
Was Gilbert wrong or was it right? Talk to me? W d I
A hello, show me t Howyou doing? Blessed? Happy Monday?
Happy Monday, Jackson? How youdoing all right? You know, just
it's Monday. Happen to uh workout? You're going to go work out?

(07:38):
Yeah? Yeah, workout? Okay? Good? You only do it on
Mondays? No, when I feellike, well you the way you said
it is like it's just one daywhen you when you do your No,
my thing is we're all gonna passaway one day, and well everybody's not
gonna pass away, but you know, have fun. Anyway. Wait a

(08:03):
minute, jack Wait a minute.Oh, oh, wait a minute,
Wait a minute. So what now? Never mind you said anyway, So
let me let me just go onto to you know what you're about to
tell me today? Talk to mejess. Yea. The last thing you
said you made me forget. Butwhat's the last thing is what's Gilbert Arenas?

(08:24):
No? No scams you said somethingelse? Scams? Yeah, how
in the world in this day andage, if people get scammed, it's
easy. It's very easy, Jackson. Folks called me all the time and
say I won this, or Iget a cramp. All I see was
sending them twenty five dollars or orone hundred dollars or even four dollars.

(08:48):
If you want something or they're givingyou something. The common says will tell
you you don't have to send themanything. I mean even though I r
Is didn't call you they I mean, I guess most people don't know that.
Well. I think I think thatThe deal though, is that sometimes
when you when the scammers are good, they're they're really good, and they've

(09:11):
gotten better as you know the huhthey're good to the week. No,
no, no, no, youdon't have to be weak minded to be
scammed. They pray on older people, they will now they now they call
your phone. They can call yourphone and do an a I thing.
It sound like it's one of yourrelatives, and it's really not. It's
a scam, that's what. That'swhat Some scams are easier than others.

(09:37):
Jackson. Uh. So you know, uh, and especially when it comes
to the elderly. Let me saythat talk talk to come on here,
we're gonna disagree with that. Letme let me say that you know these
prayer visuals about crime margin and whatthere's no purpose uh wrapping around Bill Street

(10:03):
I mean talking to people that's alreadynot doing not doing anything wrong. What's
the purpose if you're gonna do something, don't meet the kids after school,
don't meet them at the playground whilethey're playing basketball shooting nights. Come tutor
with me, Yes, right right, do that. But wrapping around Bill

(10:26):
Street talking about we're gonna do this, do that, it's not doing anything.
Uh you know. Uh, andwe're gonna, we're gonna, we're
gonna we're gonna agree to disagree onthat too. Yes, that's that hurts
me. Uh but I forgot whatI was gonna talk about them things.

(10:46):
So I'll let you go and letsomebody else talk all right along with you.
Thank you, Jackson. I appreciatethat all right now, you too,
bless us hard. I hope youget a good workout in Jackson.
Hope he gets a good workout intoday. You'll probably probably feel better about
prayer. Come on now, wd I A hello, he ain't knowing

What happened? I said, Isaid, I've been born. I've been
knowing about this spring in Vince forthe whole time. I've been working down

(11:52):
that. It's probably the first littleincident they head down there. But you
know, nowadays, this this thirdgeneration, you know they're gonna have to
uh kind of come on with itbecause they were knocking down there. I
thought that video, oh used tothe fight. Yeah, yeah, I
saw the video. Yeah it wasnooking. Who was looking? Really so
nobody pulled out a gun though,Nah I didn't pulled out no gun.

(12:16):
Okay, Freddie Freddy, do mea favor. Sneak me that video when
you get time. I want tosee that video. Okay, I got
you, Okay, then the guyor then the guy switched the ring he
gave us the more, he gaveus a mors night. Then he switched
that ring. MONI I don't knowwhat morsn ie is. It's a man

(12:37):
made diamonds. So it ain't work. It ain't work, it ain't worth
it ain't worth nothing. Oh mygoodness, yeah, he's We gave it
a fake version of the ring hecalled it, gave him some mors n
I then you gonna get his kiss. It'll come up real too, until
you go to a real jeweler. But I say he was wrong. What
do you say? Was he right? Oh? He told me he made

(13:03):
a mistake, so he come onnow, No, he made a mistake
and gave you to him, sohe should have went on a little kidchen.
You know this is what I'm talkingabout. You know he Indian?

(13:24):
you know y'all doing sho do you? Was good? Thank you Freddy.
Back in the day, Thank youFreddy. I was dating this guy and
and uh we broke up. Ihad let him borrow some of my albums

(13:46):
and stuff. I said, putmy stuff on our side of your door.
Ain't no giving nothing, give itback? W d I A hello,
Hey, shit, how's it going? Hour is going? It's going

(14:09):
Everything is good and in the neighborhoodgood Stormy believe it or not. The
subject that Ja just fought up,it's you know how it should be allowed.
But if people I know somebody rightnow storm me dining with that,

(14:35):
I'm like, if the purpose thatthe pups couldn't his house, they're not
gonna ask you for no money. She gotta pitch up everything. You can't
be that gullible. Well, she'stelling me this stole me that the family
wasn't gonna believe it and not thisa. She probably listened, which hopefully

(15:03):
this will turn her stuff around.Wait wait, wait, lady d you're
trying to you're telling me that basicallyyou have a friend that fell for the
okie do as they say, andwas scam Sam for with the public.
The public's clans house is not gonnaask you. And if you don't want
the public's house in this big highin this big house, why do you

(15:28):
have to keep sending them money? And with are at everything we could to
tell her, We even set her. Stormy co'maf that she won't listen.
I'm like, I'm I'm like,okay exactly, I'm like, why do
you not understand that it's a scam? It's all or it was Google Sam

(15:54):
with the pub out this said Nune. It ain't out, said Nod.
I'm like, nah, you knowyou got to be a nun to think
that if you don't want on allthis money you are, you can have
become a millionaire. Tell them gettheir pod out of that and send you
the rest of the money. Shewon't do it. And then they storm

(16:18):
and started out with a green gotcard. They say them umber one.
They don't send you to get nogood. Once they get your information,
they gonna keep on taking your money. Yes, that's it now, Stormy
one life of me. So maybeI hope now she's listening, because she's

(16:41):
listening just about every day and withput out the phone, hoping now that
you heard somebody other than us tellingyou that you're being scammed, give it
up, telling to lose, theygonna deliver hard. Pow she w BMW.

(17:03):
Why don't they take out what youowe and give you the rest of
your money? This old baby, she gonna put tryings on the town that
they don't sell us. Lord,it's a picture of somebody, and this
girl actually believes that this readA Nowthat no, stormy key, I want

(17:25):
you to have a good one,all right, lady. Deal, I
don't be praying for uh that lady, because that you know, those are
the kind of people they they lookfor. Those those are gonna be mismowna
mining her business. She gets aphone call right and you know, she
thinks it's about some uh she justshe just got her new car and they

(17:45):
calling her about some her warranty.Well, she don't know, she don't
know, So she gave them blessedheart. She gave them folks here debit
didn't card information horney. She hadto get that debit hard number, go
down there and get it cut offand get her a new one because they
were trying to get her because shewent to her her the place where she

(18:08):
bought the comte and said, wewe got a warranty. You you're paying
for a warranty already. She didn'tknow w d I a hello, Hey,
what's up? Storm Hey? Nothingmuch? How you doing? I'm
good? Listen, salute the giltwith a ringas man. He did the
right thing. Oh, come on, come on, our storm. That
wasn't That wasn't a Christmas gift forbirthday. Give one the gift. It's

(18:30):
an engagement ring. And if theengagement is off, you get a ring
back. That's just how it go. No, you gave gave it to
me. You gave it to me, asking me. It was a gift
under the guy that we getting married, and if the engagement off, you
supposed to give a ring back. Now he saw she won't gonna give it

(18:52):
back freely, so he had toput nesu and that's what he did.
Salute the gift. He did theright thing. Now, story, I
got a question for you. Giveher the Rids got a whole bunch of
money. Come on, now, that's his buddy. It ain't help mother.
He shot them jump shot. Shedidn't dunk my nail, bob.

(19:14):
Yeah, but he gave her thatfall hundred thousand dollars rid. What's your
question, young man? Talk tome? Hear my question. Now,
I noticed that you don't mind takingpictures with the people, like when you
at different functions, and I respectthat you down to earth. But and

(19:34):
I got a tend one of thesefunctions because it's mandatory that I get a
picture with Miss Storm. My questionis just ma'am, yes, ma'am.
My question is, now we seeyou, let's say we see you at
Walgrig. Do we just speak andkeep it moving or do you mind taking
pictures? I want to make sureI follow a proper protocol. It depends,

(19:56):
It depends, you know what. But honestly, I probably would take
it anyway because I'm let me tellyou what I did today. So I
got up and I went to trainbecause I have a trainer now, so
I want to go train. AndI hunted no makeup, and I because
you don't wear I personally don't wearmakeup to go train. Uh. And

(20:18):
then after I'm done, you know, I shower after. But uh,
I I did stop to get somefood, and I'm honey, I looked
rough here and I would have beenI would have been ashamed if somebody said,
uh, you know, if Iwould I take it, you know,
but I think my smile will willhelp me, you know, make
it through. You know what I'msaying. I think I think I can

(20:41):
smile well enough that it won't beso bad, no doubt. So yeah,
if you see me and don't saynothing to me, I won't.
I won't talk about you, allright you doo w d I A hello?
Hey? Hey? How you doing? Storm I'm good? How you

(21:03):
doing? All right? Saw?You don't say something that I just don't
agree with? What what? Iwant to give you a scenario? Okay,
okay walk with me here, okay, say how old are you?
Stormy? For twenty five? Twentyfive? All right? Five five?

(21:30):
All right? You be twenty five? And your dad of his age and
he got with a girl of nineteen, right, and your daddy got money
like money, right, and hegave me his ring, right and no,
I a son. We broke upand he take the ring back because

(21:53):
he found out I didn't want nobut his money, and he faked a
fake ring on me. Is hewrong for getting this ring back on the
engaged my daddy? Is? Thisis my daddy? Right? No?
No, no, no no hereiod? But this should add See it doesn't

(22:15):
matter to me. More of thestory is engagement. Engagement means something two
people come together and attend to dosomething together with She didn't do it,
so he has every right to getthat ring back regardless. Now he could
have been playing her to see howshe'll feel if he faked the ring on

(22:41):
her or not. If she wasgenuine, she'll steal food with him.
But she had a fool and hethe one he should have ran a long
time ago. They gonna learn oneday really is real. You can't see
the engagement ring if if if theceremony is not going to take place.

(23:04):
Well, people do people do?People do? People do? Because a
lot of people feel that like itis a gift, And I think that
Gilbert is petty. No, youknow what people do? You all know
honestly and why people do something becausedifferent state has law. Is certain states

(23:29):
in the United States that can sayis for gift? Depend on the circumstances
and how long them people being together. But at the end of the day,
right is right. Wrong is wrong, and Gilbert is wrong. He
was He's wrong. Thank you,I'm wrong. I think you that right

(23:56):
killer? Well we know we don'twant to do that. I'm just saying
he could have killed her, couldhave done something to her. Hey,
come on, now, the womenhere got quit playing with the people money.
Y'all stuck in the utube zone starment. You're giving the wrong narrative to

(24:17):
the young women out here. Ohno, no, uh uh, thank
you Marcy for calling in. I'mnot giving a narrative when it comes to
uh, playing men, I don'tthink you should do that. That's that's
something you don't do. Donald. That ain't the kind of narrative I give.
However, when it comes to Gilberta Reenas, he gave this girl

(24:37):
a four hundred thousand dollars ring,he should have let her have it,
shouldn't have faked. He shouldn't havefaked the funk. And if he wanted
it back, he should have askedfor it. And we don't know if
he asked for it or not.We don't know. I don't know.
Maybe she should have given it.Well, now I ate she gave it.
He gave it to her. AndI think there are when you,

(25:00):
you know, go through situations likethat. There's a way to do it.
There's just a way to do it. No matter what, there's a
way to do it. But listen, as far as these young girls playing
men, you get your heart brokereal quick, and that ain't something you
ought to be doing, because thisain't the season to be playing No man,

(25:23):
I don't know the situation that happened. But based off what I do
know, I say she'll let herhave it because he's Gilbert Arenas. My
goodness, he's got enough money.Coulda let it go, but he didn't,
so then he played with her emotionsto right too. Wrongs don't make
a right, That's all I'm saying. Even though the judge sided with him,

(25:44):
I still saved the wrong. We'llbe back in a moment. Okay,
we are back. We're back upin here, and I got something
for you. Let me. Letme do this before I forget. I've
got to give you the keyword forthis hour. It's fun f You in
fun into that key word at mydowd i a dot com so you can
win one thousand dollars. Your keywordis fun f u n. Okay,

(26:07):
So let's see. I got anemail from Timothy and he said, doesn't
really matter how we feel about thering situation. The court ruled in his
favor and that he doesn't owe heranything. She had an affair. You're
leaving that part out? Okay,Yeah, I didn't. I didn't know
about that part right there. ButI'm gonna tell you what I'm gonna let

(26:29):
y'all. Hear what Gilbert Arenas hadto say about this whole thing. If
I can find the video that Ijust found, yeah, right here,
because he talked about it, Solisten to this. What is it like
like, so I paid, Ipaid three ninety five I think like three
ninety five. Is it three ninetyfive or four ninety five? Fifteen carriacs

(26:51):
or something? It was up therethey had they had big stones. It
was, I mean, four thousanddiamond all the way around. You got
your tall fifteen twenty parrots, likeit's a huge, a huge rock.
Yeah, it was with a massive, huge stone in the middle. Yeah,
it was a big stone in themiddle, and then had three stones
on the side and then yeah itwas. But the one of the middle

(27:11):
is the one where that's where themoney went. Yeah. I might have
to listen to the rest of hisinterview because that's Gilbert himself talking about what
happened. So I got to seewhat he talking about. Did he did
she cheat? He said, Ijust got to, you know, get
her back. But when she comesback, you know, I'm gonna have
to you know, the fake one, and I can switch it at any
time. And that's what I didhad the fake one created then started you

(27:37):
know that kind of started. Iguess all this stuff. But anyway,
he said it was a waste ofmoney, big Stone, it was a
waste of money. I want myring back. So I was like,
how do I get my ring back? See? According to what he said,
I'm looking at this video of himtalking about it. Now. I
don't know if it was any cheatinggoing on, but in this video do

(27:59):
you talk about no cheating one ofhis money, one of his ring back.
Anyway, let's go to the phonelines. W D I a hello,
asks you a question before I getin? No, go in,
No, no, go ahead andtalk to me. Go ahead and talk
to me, because I go ahead. Rick Danmes story, okay, dealing
with the ring. I'm gonna goahead and get to it. But I

(28:21):
really want to know something about theRick James, what do you go ahead?
What do you want to know? You said you brought it up anyway,
what do you want to know?Is it gonna be okay? It's
a song out there? Call orwhen he be singing, he said,
temptations singing. That's standing on thetop about Rick Dames. But that's temptation.
I think that's Temptations that time, you know, and the song he'd

(28:44):
be saying Temptations sing in the background, I think Jane says that name that
song. Uh stand in the standingon the top. Anyway, let's go
to your your comment now we canwe can do something on that. We
can talk about that later after theshow. Go ahead, just a little
music storm. Now, look lookinghere, look at here the storm,
this ring situation. She should getthe money for pain and suffering. But

(29:10):
she went through with him, butshe didn't got the ring. See she
did that case wrong. Should havebeen painting something. But how did she
know what it ring? With fakeswitch? How did they fan that out?
If it was real? How didshe fan that out? Like the
call of fake? It's an engagementonce it all, she's supposed to give

(29:32):
me back. Mmmm, And youdon't think some storm? Yeah, she
should get something for pain and suffering. Yeah, I agree with that,
like I say, but look ather storm. Wasn't in love that in
this whole situation. Don't the rightthing? There's no love there. I
thought, when you engaged to gettingmarried and all this stuff, you love

(29:56):
this person, they love you?Who brought the loss to us? Well?
I guess she did. She wastrying to get some of her about
money. See y'all women out there, and he stopped thinking about just money,
money, money, money. Youlove in the situation that will give
you. You get that man.Huh. While I know that's right,

(30:21):
Thank you. I forgetful. Yeah, that's probably what it is. We
gotta I'm telling you, I gotto look at this video. This is
a video that uh he did.Looks like five hours ago he did a
video talking about it. Yeah,he talked to the folks with lad TV,

(30:41):
recounting how he managed to retrieve thatprice he four hundred thousand dollars diamond
ring from his ex girlfriend. Hedoesn't say who the ex is. He
said it was an ex girlfriend, not an ex wife, but girlfriend.

(31:02):
He doesn't say who it is.I'm done. I'm digging deeper at any
rate. Honey, he got Yeah, he won a lawsuit. She didn't
show, didn't w d I ahello, good afternoon, ma'am, good

(31:22):
afternoon. How are you? Thankgood? How are you? And I'm
just dandy. I'm excited. Igot in before lady d no you she
got in for you. Yep,she already called. They flew by and
I'm telling you, how about thisring? He said, if she called

(31:45):
up the wigeruse he called off,we don't know, not in this story
because he he just did an interviewfive six hours ago talking about that.
So yeah, yeah, and it'sin it's all situation. But he doesn't
say if it was ex wife. He's says it was an ex girlfriend,
doesn't mind. I always understand ifI give you a ring and you call

(32:07):
it off and you give him myring back, it doesn't say who.
He didn't even say who called itoff. Yeah, that does. They
just where I understand it goes. You know, yeah, because you asked
her, she should give it back. But I think if the woman calls
it off and she suld give theman's ring back. I now I agree
with that, if she calls itoff, she should give it back.
And and and why didn't he askfor it back? Because even in his

(32:30):
interview he never says from what I'mlooking at, he never says he I
asked for it back. He saidI want my ring back, So I
was like, how do I getmy ring back? His words, not
mine? Yeah, yeah, Iwas one of the same thing, but
lived how did he manage get thering Alan from her to switch it out.

(32:52):
You know, you know how y'allme and all y'all sleep take it
up. Yeah, you know that'show y'all be doing. No, just
kidding. Somehow another he caught it. He did something. Yeah, I'm
gonna have to post this video soy'all can see this interview that he did
with Blad TV. Uh. Theyjust they just posted this, like I

(33:15):
said, about five hours ago,six hours ago, of him talking about
it, and he says ex girlfriend. He doesn't say an ex wife.
It says yeah, yeah, specialgirlfriend. Git back to it anyway,
Thank you so much. I appreciateyou. All right, thank you so
much for calling w D I ahello doing today? Hey, I'm good.
How you doing? What I'm doing? I'm doing good? So I'm

(33:37):
this is Greg. Hey Greg,Hey, how you doing? Uh?
So I want to change it upfor a minute. I just tuned in,
uh dragging. So what I gottacomment? You know, Uh,
I've seen the thing that happened inOrange man at the park, you know,
I mean, you know, justcrazy. Hey, My question is

(33:57):
where the extities? Why ain't nobodytomorrow the name shipped down the bridge,
the man and that the police, you know, get out and try to
kitch whoever the perpetrators were. Imean, why are there in their risk?
I mean, you got pictures allon Facebook. Then they have there
have been arrest They arrested three people. You're talking, Oh you're talking about
that shooting. I thought you weretalking about the other shooting with the politic

(34:19):
that involved the police officer Shelby Countydeputy. Uh this three weeks ago.
Yeah, at the block party.Yeah yeah, I mean you know it's
crazy. You know when the policeget you know, do something to something
of that black guy, we're gonnaship to see the damn We're gonna ship
the bridge down. Uh you know, we're gonna hoop and holler. I

(34:42):
mean you know, I mean whyain't nobody to marching now? I mean
see what you're saying. Outrage overblack people getting killed at that park.
You know that's what you're saying.Yeah. Yeah. And one of the
things the Storm I want to giveyou kudos man. I know you uh

(35:02):
he was a while back. Iwas listening to you and you were saying
that you had uh your child earlyin life. But here's you are doing
what you're doing. Storm, Andkudos and you. I mean I don't
know you from Jeels and Jack, but man, just congratulations, thank you.
God is good. I mean atimless situation. You know, I

(35:25):
met someone to hand kids early, but all three on a college graduate.
She's the college graduate now and you'redoing good. I just want to say
to you, man, you know, just you know, keep on doing
what you're doing. Storm, thankyou so much. I appreciate that.
You too, You too, Okay, yeah, okay, bye bye?

(35:45):
W d I A hello, Isaw that. How you doing, Hey,
queen, I'm good. How youdoing? I am wonderful. I
happened monday to see you to youall right, I'm sitting help here,
talking, looking at listening to aboutthis ring engagement ring. Now it's a

(36:07):
symbol of marriage. Now, ifshe broke the marriage, broke the engagement
off, she should give his rainback. But now look I looked at
it. I watched this divorce courtwith star jaredge Starr. They had a
case on there something similar to this, and so how the judge did it.

(36:27):
This is what she did. Butthe guy found out that that she
wouldn't. She didn't want to haveanything to do with his family. There
wasn't no cheating or nothing like that. She just didn't want to be involved
with the family. So this wasthe ring that he had went out and
purchased and paid real good money forit. And so he told her,
he said, well, I seewhat she's going to be like since we

(36:49):
get if we get married, hesaid, I want to break this engagement
off. So she told him, says, you're not going to get the
rain back, so you can forgetabout that. So she took him,
so he took her to court beforeJudge Son and judge. This is what
Judge Star told him. She said, you have to give the rain back.
And she told the judge she said, I'm not giving the rain back.

(37:09):
So the judge had the baylor togo over. She said, let
me see the rain so she wentover. She gave the ring to the
bailor. So the baylor brought thering, gave it to the judge.
So the judge looked at the ringand everything. She said, okay,
she said, you don't want togive it back. She said no,
she said, give me my ringback. She says. She told the

(37:30):
baby said give it to the man. And so the young lady got really
upset and she said well, i'llsee you after court. And the judge
told her, sayd you don't haveto see me after court. You can
see me now, said you said, he gave the ring and you didn't
want to have anything to do withhis family, so you can't keep the
ring. So what I'm saying tosay about this situation one tell them had

(37:50):
to break it off. I don'tknow who did what, but that ring's
supposed to be assembly of marriage. And once she got married to him and
he wanted a divorce or anything like, yeah, she's supposed to keep the
rings. But if there's not goingto be a marriage, I rain't have
to be given back to him. That's the way it's then that's supposed to
be the law. Okay, Okay, I see what you're saying. Uh

(38:14):
yeah, thank you so much.Go ahead, And because I want to
hear what you got to say.Okay, you know what, let me
let me let me tell Timothy Timothynow now, uh let me apologize to
Timothy because Timothy is well not Timothy. Randy. Hey, Randy, Randy,

(38:36):
you're right, it was a situationwith Laura, because word is they
was cheating. Laura was cheating withShaq but but but she's Hey, it's
a whole about to back and forthon that. So Gilbert is actually talking
about in this interview, Queen uh, he is actually talking about how he

(39:01):
gave her that fake ring and thenhe switched it out because she had two
lawsuits. One was about child supportand the other was about the ring.
And he said he got his moneyso he could use the money from the
ring to pay the lawyer's fees. That's what he said. I got it

(39:22):
now anyway, started blessed and Ilove you and you take care, thank
you. I love you too.You have a good one yourself. Yeah,
but I still say he could getthat Warma kitchen. He could have
let Laura keep that ring. Wd I A r H. No no

(39:42):
no, that was his kid's mamaname. He is mama. And you
cheating? No, no, no, But I don't know. I don't
know if she was cheating. Wedon't know. We wasn't now, we
didn't see nothing you saying about shewas. Yet, Hey, I got
that, so I'll hearsay, hearsaybiggest feelings in the world. No give

(40:05):
me may read but look about tosay it sounds like the relationship was in
trouble from the beginning because they brokeup eight days after the engagement, you
know, yeah, somewhat right.Yeah, my heart, my heart goes
out to to you know, speakingof scams, and I think somebody may

(40:27):
have said this, and my heartgoes out to men that get caught up
in situations. And I'm not speakingabout Gilbert Arenas's situation necessarily, but I'm
saying, you know, men whohave money and all they want is love,
and then they end up with agirl who all she wants is money
and status, you know, andwhat she can get out of it.
And I'm gonna tell you the truthI have in my career. I have

(40:52):
worked with girls that have literally lookedin the newspaper to see who was what
rookies were getting ready to play forcertain football teams so that they could go
and meet them and get a relationshipor get themselves yeah, impregnated, trying

(41:14):
to chase on and never know whatwhat you end up getting. Yeah,
you don't ever know. Yeah, but look, usually whoever caused the engagement
off, they take the loss interms of the ring. And if she
done something like called cheating, I'mpretty sure the judge what the Faber would
give it the ringers. So ifit was a case of cheating, then

(41:34):
I say, no, he didn'tdo the he didn't do the wrong thing.
I mean, he deserved to getthe ringing back. I'm changing my
mind now because at first, yeah, I if that was if that is
the case, if that is thecase, because yeah, because you don't
deserve you don't deserve a four hundred, four hundred thousand dollars ring from nobody.
You're cheating on them, you know. So yeah, she'll learn to

(41:55):
appreciate some next time. Maybe, yep. Maybe, all right, all
right, thank you coming man.I appreciate that, you know. But
like I was saying, I reallyI feel for these young kids that get
caught up. I really do,because they do. They get caught up,
and man ooh you know that's whyI love what Prime Time Dion Sanders

(42:21):
did. Dion Sanders had a younggirl who is popular on the internet.
I want to say her name isBritney, but I could be wrong.
He had her come and talk tohis football team, and I think this
was when he was in Jackson, and she talked to them about you know,

(42:47):
how girls be at him, themgirls be at him. I ain't
telling you something I heard. I'mtelling you someone no and that I'm singing
with my own. Wise, Ididn't participate in it, but I saw
it because if I did participate,I would be on Basketball Wives. Probably

(43:14):
I w d I a Hello,give it back, give it back,
give it back, give it back, give it back. Amen. Amen,
Amen, Amen you start talking aboutthis story. I'm walking through the
King Soupers, the grocery store hereat Denver, and I burned out all

(43:37):
no man and everybody in there turnaround and looked at me like, oh
my goodness, No, I gottadisagree with you today, boss, your
honor. If I made into evidenceExhibit A. At the beginning of the
show this stormy tnt you or didyou not say that? You called you

(43:59):
in you said, put my stuffon the porch? Show did and he
put it out there and I pickedit up. Yeah. I was really
petty back then. I was young. I was young and and dumb and
thought I was in love and hehurt my feelings because he broke up with

(44:22):
me. He broke up with me, break up with me. No,
actually I broke up with him.I'm sorry I broke up with him.
I broke up with him, butI still wanted my stuff back, and
I was and I was petty. That's what you do when you're young and
you petty. You just do pettystuff, you know, when you're young.
And then you get older and you'relike, you know, you realize,
you should realize that you don't play, you don't you know you you

(44:46):
should change, You should grow. You shouldn't go grow older and get you
know, bitter. You should growolder and get better, you know what
I'm saying. So I've grown andand and I'm trying to get better.
And because I remember what an Indiangive back in the day, I ain't
like it is. Well, Itotally understand. And I say that because

(45:07):
I had, I had actually gonethrough this before. Yeah, when I
was young, just getting back fromthe from Okaynawa, Japan. Uh young
lady I daddy there. N Up, she came back to the States and
we end up station together New Orleans. Long story short, Uh it was
called off and uh I had tofinance my ring. I was talking from

(45:29):
a personal point of view. UhNo, definitely that that ring is a
is a is a a binding ina contract. Saying, like the lady
before me said, that's an agreement. Hey, we're gonna get married.
You keep this ring if that happens. If it doesn't happen, there's no
need for you to have this ring. If he called it off or she
called, he must have called itoff with good calls or she called it

(45:52):
off. And if she called itoff, she definitely should give it back.
So I think I think the ring, Yeah, she go back to
him. And also one of us, the gentleman called about the activists.
They don't care. It's only aboutbeing seen when something can be made into
something that's racist. So until theactivist and mythic actually get up and do
something, Uh, the city's gonnacontinue to be interminable. But if we

(46:15):
pray that things get better. Thanksfor taking my call, mistive. All
right now, all right now, yeah, yeah, okay, So yeah,
Gilbert, Gilbert, I still wantto say I still want to say
that he's wrong. I still sayI even though I know now, but
I don't know for sure. Therumor is that she was cheating. Now,

(46:37):
if she was cheating, she shouldhave gave him that bring back.
Uh. But but but people selfishnowadays, they selfish. But anyway,
young girls, let this be alesson. It don't pay. We do
don't pay to be doing the wrongthings. And I don't know, you

(46:57):
know, really what the situation iswith Lauren and Give. I don't know.
I wasn't into this story, likea lot of people were into it
when it was really going on andall that, and I know it was
a huge scandal. Uh but yeah, you just you just yeah, you
get you get a little older, you grow up. When you're young,
you make, you make decisions andhopefully you know you have somebody. Get

(47:21):
a mentor. That's that's what Iwould say to these young girls, get
yourself a mentor. I got somementors, and I'm a grown woman.
I'm grown and I still have peoplethat mentor me, that speak into my
life. And I would not haveit any other way. All Right,
