told y'all, it seems like ayear is going by. Seems like May.
Well, January was just here. Now it's May the ninth. Shoot
will be in the middle of theyear before you know. Okay, we

(01:36):
got a lot to talk about today. I hope your Thursday is going well.
Thank you for tuning in, y'all. Come on in, Come on
in, Call your friends, callyour neighbors, tell them I'm on and
uh we're getting ready to talk.Come on in, step in the room,
because we got a lot to talkabout, honey. We had a
lot to talk about. Yesterday.I got a call Michael and Iiesha.

(01:59):
Michael and i Isha called me onyesterday. You guys on, let me
give you the numbers nine o onefive three five nine three four two eight
hundred five zero three nine three fourtwo eight three three five three five nine
three four two Michael and Aisha. Now, yesterday I talked about the nurse
that was stopped by the police andher license plate number, just the number,

(02:21):
not the state that it's in.She's her license plates are out of
Mississippi. She was in Memphis whenthis happened. I actually recorded her and
lost the recording. But that's okay. I can tell you guys what Michael
and Aisha said. Uh Ayisha basicallytold me what happened and how humiliating an

(02:42):
embarrassed she was, and how onlyone of this she said there were three
police officers there at the time, and only one of them apologized. They
also said Michael also said that hewent to one of the mayor's town hall
meetings to talk to the mayor aboutit. He said, the mayor,
you know, told him that hewould reach out to him, get back

(03:04):
in touch with him and his wife, and he said, as of last
night, they had not heard fromanyone, but they've been trying to reach
out to the mayor to discuss it, and they've also been trying to reach
out to Chief C. J.Davis to you know, have a conversation
with them about what happened, becauseAisha said, you know, she she's
nervous about driving to work and Michaelhas been driving her to work. He's

(03:24):
furious, by the way, becausehe said that he wants to do something
about it, because he said, what if it were your teenage child that
that happened to, or what ifit was your grandmother that that happened to,
It would be a scary situation likeit was for his wife. It
could get even worse. So atany rate, yeah, Aisha, we

(03:47):
were going to have lunch and I'mgoing to take her out to lunch.
And do something nice for her.And just I really just hate that that
happened to her. I really do. But yeah, Fox thirteen ran the
story and that's where I got thestory from. But yeah, it's just
it's heartbreaking. And I told her, I asked her, I said,
what was it like being a firstresponder? You know, getting that kind

(04:10):
of treatment from another first responder? So she's pretty heartbroken about that. And
yeah, so yeah, I'm heartbrokenforward too, And like I said,
We're going to lunch. We're gonnado it. We are going to lunch.
I'm taking her to lunch because Igotta. I gotta treat her and
make sure she's okay, because wegotta. We gotta be good time.
We gonna need them. You neverknow when we gonna need our first respond

(04:32):
essentially nurses and all that. Younever know. I mean, they do
such an amazing job for this. It's some nurses that are amazing, Okay,
I would say that it may bea handful may not even be a
handful of nurses that you might thinkare not you know, the best of
what they do, but just thefact that they decided to do that job.
And it is Nurses Week, Yes, it is Nurses Appreciation Week,

(04:58):
so thank you to all all thenurses. And I really hate that I
had to share that story about Aishaon during this week. I really hate
that, but I am glad thatshe seems to be coping rather well.
I could still tell talking to herlast night that she is not okay.
She is not okay, and Itold her to make sure she's listening.

(05:19):
She's listening today and if she wantsher or her husband can call in Michael
or Aisha. Somebody called them andtold them that I was trying to find
them. Thank you to the churchmember. I think Ayisha said it was
her church member, So thank youto her, and thank you to all
of you that listened to the show. But listen, we got something some
things to talk about. First up, my heart is broken for this mother.

(05:46):
This mother man, I'm heartbroken forher, really because I don't want
nobody to come through this losing.Nobody want somebody taken a lot. I
never did, not never happened. This is the mother who had to.
She actually was the one that turnedher daughter in. Kenyatta Hayes, who's

(06:09):
twenty six, allegedly shot and killeda man after he had asked for sex
from her in exchange for sixty dollars. Court records alleged that the two went
to the park when Hayes shot andkilled the man before taking off with his
money. After surveillance footage showing herdaughter running from the scene aired on the
news, Shante Jones call the police, well to the family that lost their

(06:36):
little I just hope for some justicecome out of it. But I'm just
praying for my daughter because the guythat she was with, I believe she
was scared of him. Colone,I don't condone in violence. I don't
if you do some of you hey, hey, for you need to think

(06:56):
about her asks. You need tothink about what a door before before you
before you do something. They needto be a leader, not a follower,
and watch who they hang around andwatch who they hang around with.

(07:19):
I'm yeah, that had to betough for that mama, not you know
she did that interview. That hadto be tough to do the interview,
but it also had to be toughto call and turn your own child into
the police. That video is actuallyand it's a lot of people are talking
about it right now and I postedit. If you want to see it.
I think it's up on ten seventyWDA right now. You can go

(07:43):
see that video and leave us somecomments. Would you be able to do
turn your child in if they werecommitting a crime? Wid you? We've
talked about that before too on thisshow. Yeah, we talked about it.
And I also posted a video ofa teacher, a black male teacher.
This one's getting a lot of pressright about now. This teacher was

(08:03):
in class, okay, it's thefinal days of the students being at you
know, in his class. Heposted a video of the students braiding his
hair, okay, or I'm braidinghis hair. They were taking his hair
down. And it looks like, now this middle school science teacher who posted
that video on social media of thosestudents taking out his braids might be in

(08:28):
jeopardy of his job because he postedthe videos. That's what happens. When
you put it out there for theworld to see, people are gonna tell
you what they think. And sopeople commented about it, and basically,
unfortunately the attention of that video couldcost him his science teacher job, you

(08:50):
know. And the sad things,we don't have that many male teachers,
not that many out there you knowwhat I'm saying, Black male teachers of
that, and he could lose hisjob. Even though I don't think there's
anything wrong with it, I dothink that when you because those are girls,

(09:13):
you have to know that because you'rea man, that's somebody's gonna look
at it wrong. Then there's anothervideo of one of the students painting his
fingernails and they had a problem withthat too, So this is just I
hate it for him. I really. One Twitter user said, I'm watching
this and didn't even realize that's mylittle sister in the background. She said

(09:37):
that he's her favorite teacher, buttoday they were all forced to write statements
and he may get fired. Thevideo is posted on our Instagram page ten
seventy WDA and it's up on ourFacebook page if you want to see it
for yourself or you maybe maybe youalready know. But he tried to I'm

(10:00):
back and explain after he got alot of he got a lot of,
you know, backlash from the videothat he initially posted of them taking his
hair. He got a lot ofbacklash, and he posted another video explaining
why. You know, he said, those kids love him. He got
permission from their parents before he postedit. The parents actually said it was

(10:22):
okay. Yeah, but a wholelot of people are saying that it's not
okay. And unfortunately for him,it could cost him his job. Good
cause he said he had a tI think he said he had a TV
appearance and he didn't have time totake his braids down his self or go
get him done. So he youknow, gave the kids extra credit for

(10:46):
helping him, you know, takehis braids down. He also even if
the if the kids were not apart of his class, he made sure
that they were good students if theycame to help, and you know,
said that they were gonna ask allof that anyway, he got the approval
of their of their parents. LikeI said, before he posted any of
the videos. And now this, now this, y'all can go see it.

(11:09):
Ten seventy w d I Ain,tell me what you think about that
video. My I'm heartbroken for himbecause there's nothing, in my opinion,
intimate about it. Some people maythink that, you know, touching his
hair is intimate, but they werenot touching his body. They were just
taking his hair down. But Imean, you know, I really I

(11:31):
hated for him, and I hatedfor those students, and I hate that
they may lose a good teacher.Let me go to these phone lines nine
O one five three five, ninethree four two eight hundred five zero three
nine three four two eight three threefive three five nine three four two w
DI I A hello, Hey Stormy, Hey, how are you? I'm

(11:52):
good? How are you? I'mgood? Good? Okay, I just
listened to just out in my car. Now my come in, my come
in inappropriate, inappropriate, inappropriate andappropriate. It is just inappropriate. And
you know, I really hate thathe could not see that it was an

(12:13):
appropriate And it looks like in thetime we're living in we I mean,
so many things are seem like it'sokay to do and to adults don't really
realize it's inappropriate. It has amatter. He is a teacher, they
are students. He should have gonesomewhere else. You could have gone to

(12:37):
a family member, You could havegone to the hairdresser, you could have
gone to your girlfriend, your wife. I just don't okay that by no
means, even if it wasn't anythingyou know, inappropriate going on, you
don't do that. You don't promptthe line with teaching and students because of
yourself for something that it doesn't matterhow do a science he may have pupted

(13:09):
his uh you know, his job. Yeah, well, and I'm sorry
he had to learn that type oflesson, but that's totally inappropriate. I
don't agree with that. By nomeans yeah, that's a that's a hard
that's a hard lesson, you know. And the thing is that, uh,
some people actually are just like you. They do not agree with it,
and some people are like me whereI don't see anything wrong with it.

(13:31):
However, I don't want my daughterputting our hand no and and in
the hands of no teaching, don'ttouch any day. I don't even want
you straightening up its belt, Idon't. You know. Yeah, I
think you do it. You doit from that perspective as a parent looking
at it. If it were mychild, yeah, I would think.
Yeah, I wouldn't, Yeah,I wouldn't. Just don't do it.

(13:52):
We just everything goes now and youknow we know about the uh that what
happens with teachers and students. Wedo and just don't put yourself in that
position. Don't do it. Yeah, we've heard too many You gotta have
more than values. You canna havemore than education. You know, you're
gonna have more than vegues and that'swhat we're mackett. Yeah, and it's

(14:15):
gonna hurt. Yeah. All right, thank you, thank you, Jennis.
I appreciate you calling in today.Thank you so much. All right,
bye bye. Yeah. Yeah,I mean it's it's a tough it's
a tough one. I yeah,tough one. W d I a hello,
hello, hello, hello, Okay. I just want to talk about

(14:37):
the uh, the uh the nursegetting pulled over, Yes, the nurse
that we that I talked about yesterday, miss Aisha. Yeah. I just
I just think that you know, the police was trying that was doing the
job and it was an honest mistake. You know, with all the cartuff
going around in that area. Ithink they just made an honest mistake.

(14:58):
And I think is that it's gettingoverblown. Yeah for the most part,
for the most part. Nine youknow, not a half percent of the
police does out there, you know, the good cop just trying to do
their job. I think, youknow, yeah, I just don't I
agree. I agree to wake uphusband, got dried to sit around and

(15:20):
say baby, you know, no, did you hear what did you hear
you know, did you hear howshe was treated? Though, well I
didn't hear her now, not allthe so they they handcuffed her, put
her in the back of a policecar, poured all her things on top

(15:41):
of the police car, and evenwhen they you know, you know,
told her that it was a mistakethat nobody only one of the police officers
apologized and they made her pick herown things up. Okay, well,
I could see that they could havehanded it better. But and then that's

(16:03):
what she's saying, that's what herhusband is saying, they could have handled
it better. Yeah, okay, well, this is a mask man.
I enjoyed the stop the show.I listened every day. Thank you.
I appreciate your mask man. Thankyou. All right, we'll go you
too, you too, Yeah,it's yeah, when you hear something like
that, I apologize that I didn'tgive the whole story. And I think

(16:26):
maybe I thought everybody was listening yesterdayand some people picking up today, and
so yeah, and maybe Aisha willcall in h as well and tell me
a little bit more. I'm hoping. I told her husband and her to
listen today. Hopefully they'll get achance to call in as well, w
d I a hello, Hey,Hey, I'm good. How you doing,
Freddie? Okay, then, likeshoot, the police been kicking in

(16:51):
dolls in the wrong. They bettercooked up it in the corner with a
gun. I don't say so.You know they've been doing this, so
you know, you gotta just kindof shake it, shake it off you
and keep on going. This iswhat I feel about it. But it's
really nice that you're taking him outto eat the stuff and you know,
trying to, you know, helpbecause she's a very responsible police been doing
that and they ain't gonna say theysorry, but they really don't feel like

(17:14):
doing their job now. They lookit ain't taking downtown under seventy two hour
investigation. Well I'm glad. Look, I'm glad, Freddy. I'm glad
they didn't take her downtown. AndI'm glad that you know she's okay,
yes, ma'am. And I'm notas okay as she can be, you
know, as okay as she canbe, just ma'am. Another thing with
the teacher man, if you wouldhave just let him took his hair out

(17:36):
of stead of just going loud withit, he would have best. You
had a job. How long allthe kids little you know, it just
would have been it would have beendead on Nick. So you know,
I kind of blame him for puttingit on Facebook. He can't put everything
on social media. Just like ifyou smoke marijuana and you got a nice
job and you all on there doingthis and then then something somebody looking and

(17:57):
gonna show up, So I'm gonnalose your job. So just a lot
of stuff you just exclude on socialmedia. You know, when you when
you signed up for the show happytimes, some good time, not not
not missing. Yeah, there's allI say about it. I get it.
Freddy. Thank you for for youropinion, and thank you for calling
in. I appreciate that. Yeah, you gotta be careful, Freddy.

(18:17):
No, because he on social media, ain't you? Freddy? You on
now? You know you know whatnot the post? You gotta you gotta
keep his job. W D IA hello, well starman, Hello girl.
You know it's pride. Ain't nobodyto seed but me. I know
that's right, nothing prive. Andthough it's not. I so I thought
you were saying your page was private. I now I look the page,

(18:40):
but I hate I'm not into thatsaid. You know, I told you.
I had to go under cover fromthe cheers going to school. I
went under cover. They, everyone of them it self my friendship.
All things I wanted to do waslook mona they page and make sure they
weren't doing nothing they weren't supposed todo. Now that they grown, Stormer,
we have a good lad Just tonow think about it, every one

(19:04):
of y'all sent me a friendship rightback. You didn't even know who I
was until y'all got full of theground with people. What's ma'am, baby,
I went on the cover, youb Look, lady, you have
to be like a police. That'sthe hardest yob. But look, I
can't do my storm. We havesome lass and stuff about no, But

(19:25):
lady, seriously, I love it. I think when you, you know,
when your kids on social media andyour family, you want to keep
them safe and you do your best. You know, as a good parent,
you know you don't want to tellthem no. Sometimes you want to
if they're old enough to experience it, you want to let them, you
know, experience some things in life. Well, baby, I have gotten

(19:45):
to cover and then't let them knowwho I was. They it's still out
there. But with Asha and herhusband Michael. They they'll reached back out
to you. You know they havea schedule too, But don't wear it
it. They're gonna get back withyou. And that's for as the lady
that turn her daughter in it.But you just to do that, she

(20:08):
said to key wearing, you candress the shoes. She might not listen
to the I A every day,but she listening because she said her daughter
took something she can't return of life, you know, from message to all
the little young kids. And youdon't have to be held accountable for what
you do. That the bottom line. Yet, when my called me,

(20:32):
tell but he was in jail,I'm sleep call your homeboy because I told
you you were going to jail andthat no tring to have a good one.
All right, lady T I appreciateyou calling in today. I really
do. Uh w d I Ahello? Hello? How are your daughter?
This is wise man not a MichiganYes. First and footballs I want

(20:56):
to say that officer they should havecalled a female officer to the sea because
a lot of times women might havepersonal items in their personal they bag.
And second, then flipped the scriptfor a minute. You knew they said
loose lips eat chips with their teacher. What if that was a female teacher
getting their hair down? With allthis fuss has been going on, and
I felt that those kids parents gavepermission. Should nobody else have anything else

(21:19):
to say? Wasn't nothing inappropriate goingon? The teacher was staying in front
of everybody else, the students werestay in front of everybody else. So
again, if it was a femalegetting their hat taken down, would all
this fuss be going on? Rightnow? You know, that's how he
was wrong. That's exactly what youWhat you just said is exactly what he
said. He said, I amcurious to know that if it were a

(21:41):
female teacher, would it be sparkingas much controversy online? And you know
sometimes people all of mind their ownbusinesses down to everybody else's business. That
brother didn't do nothing, He didn'tdo anything wrong. He was up there
opened where everybody cause somebody, ifthe principal or anybody else wanted to come
down people what was going on,which they might have they should live it

(22:03):
alone. And one other thing, one other thing I want to just say
is the mayor and as well asthe chief of police should have been the
first to call with an apology tothat couple. They shouldn't be waiting around,
and the couple shouldn't have to callthe chief of police or nobody.
They should have been calling them. And on that note, you keep up
the good work again. Like Isaid, I'm out of Michigan and I

(22:25):
enjoyed listening at w D. Iyou have a great you wise man,
you as well. You have agreat day as well. Yeah. I
hope and pray that they'll, youknow, somebody will reach out to Michael
and Iisha. Yeah, w DI A hello, and yes, Tom
Green teams, greetings markers. Youknow they should have contact men Crumb.
See contact men Crumb. You'll geta response. Hit him in the head,

(22:51):
hit him in the bucket book andthen there you know, they respond
well. In your friends to leBron and I watched taking you said New
York. You know the governor saidson derogretary too, that she had to
come back and back pay all NewYork the governor. You know what I
was, I ain't gonna lie toyou. When the governor said what she

(23:12):
said, it really kind of Marcusthat that that kind of I was mid
I was like a girl. Doyou realize what you just said? Because
I, in particular, it wasone of those people, Marcus. I
didn't like what she said. Shesaid, children, black children in the
in the Bronx don't even know whata computer is. You're kidding me?

(23:36):
Sorry about that, market, Goahead, I'm sorry. Yeah. And
she had to back pay out herher country, and she had to backed
combine apologize, you know. AndI tell this, I said it to
one other people. You know,a lot of people not They think that,
oh you know, there is moreracism down sold And I tell them,

(23:56):
uh uh, you said. Themfolks are the them ras or something.
They are very hypocritical. They willsmile at you and laugh at you,
but they will stab you in theback here down south here at least,
you know, they'll let you know. Hey, I don't like you,
I said, right, And Idon't like you either, So we
draw the line a way the lineis drawn, you know, and I

(24:18):
encourage them to look, came backout, move back south because it's too
expensive up there, up not anywhere, you say. And one more thing,
what's that? Freddy said? Justthe ticket back on? Freddy said,
you know, the police just kickinga black hereman's door down in Florida,
and yeah, you know they gotthey got they got Benjamin Crump.

(24:41):
Yeah, they got him on thecase with that one. Yeah, kicked
in the door, shut him.You know what I'm saying. Yeah,
here man, a young twenty threeyears was here man. You know,
and this this is what they goingto intensify, you know, as we
get closer to this election, it'sjust gonna keep going up and any weird
starmy, thank you, you takecare of all right, Marcus, you

(25:03):
take care as well. Yeah,I'm praying that it doesn't go up enough.
But this is what the mayor said, and the governor of New York,
Kathy Haltel, I think is I'mnot sure how you pronounce her last
name, but anyway, this iswhat she said. Young black kids growing
up in the Bronx who don't evenknow what the word a computer is.
They don't know, they don't knowthese things. And I want the world

(25:26):
open up to all of them, because when you have their diverse voices innovating
solutions through technology, then you're reallydressing society's broader challenges. It sounds like
she's trying to do something good, but it's just why you say that young
black kids growing up in the Bronxwho don't even know what the word a
computer is. It's just like justsay what you went up there to say?

(25:52):
Lady, I mean, come onnow, wd I A hello,
hello, hey, hey, allright, I just want to come in
on a deal about that teacher.I think he's getting. I think he's
getting a bad deal. Yeah,And I want to tell you too,
them women's calling in complaining stuff. They need to check their dollars out.

(26:18):
But I guess if a young dudewas turning their daughters in and out,
that's okay with younger as a youngdude, well, I hope not.
Well, I'm trying to tell youthey and did too over that way.
I say, I've seen them.Look at her, she took things and
sixteen with blonde hair, and Isaw this lesbian hugging on her, patting

(26:40):
on her butt and everything. Well, I'm trying to tell you these mamas
corome out the older man or ateacher whatever. Leave that teacher alone.
We need some black male teachers. And like I said, they need to
check their daughter storming these young guysturning them young girls out. Now you
got that right, Hm, theychick, come out. That's what you

(27:03):
need. Check with mama. Leavehis teacher alone, all right, Thank
you so much for your comment.Yeah, you know, it's interesting that
you would say that because now,uh, Shaquille O'Neill is under fire because
he took a twenty one year oldgirl with him on vacation to Spain and
their pictures all over social media.Of course, we know Shaq is over
fifty, so a lot of peopleare saying, oh he do, come

(27:27):
on now, Shaq, come onnow, shack. So yeah, people
are talking about that as well.Yess a lot going on. Y'all stick
around and hang on if you areon hope for me, please, I'm
coming to you. Nine oh onefive three five nine three four two eight
hundred five zero three ninety three fourtwo eight three three five three five nine
three four to two. Don't move, I'll be back. I want to

(27:53):
make sure I get you this keywordfor this hour. It is cash.
C ash. Cash is your keyword for this hour. Take it to
my wd i A dot com soyou can win a thousand dollars. Your
keyword is cash c A s h. Yeah, we are back up in
here. We are back up inhere. Thank you for being here with
me on today. I do appreciateyou. Uh yeah, I got a

(28:17):
bomb and pick with y'all y'all.Last week I was I was rescued,
y'all. Remember little Daddy rescued me. And I was telling y'all the story
about Jesus when he was, youknow, walking on the water. And
I said, it was Paul thatwas walking on that water. How can
y'all call me and tell me itwas Peter? I knew it was Peter.
I misspoke and said Paul, buty'all didn't call me and tell me.

(28:42):
And I was like, oh mygoodness, Freddy, how come you
didn't tell me? I know, you know it was Peter that slipped in
that water and Jesus had to pullhim out. M all right, friends.
Anyway, I was listening to whatthe mayor, what the governor said.

(29:04):
Sister Cathy, well, she said, y'all listen to this young black
kids growing up in the Bronx whodon't even know what the word a computer
is. So she's uh. Shewas in Milkin Institute doing a conference and
she was discussing the economic opportunities forlow income communities. She's had to walk
that statement back. But what shewas saying, basically, they don't know
how to spell. I thought shewas saying they don't know what a computer

(29:26):
is, because they know what acomputer is on it, but she said
they don't know how to spell. And I saw a teacher on social media
last night and she was saying thatwhat the governor said is the truth.
She said, we are raising shesaid, we are in trouble. These

(29:48):
kids that are in high school don'tknow how to read and they don't know
how to comprehend. That's what theteacher said. A black teachers it.
Now, Sister Kathy, you shouldn'thave said that. Leave that to us,
that to us. Don't be don'tbe like dj vladd stay out of

(30:08):
that lead that do us w DI A hello, Hello, Hello,
Hello, blessed? How you doingdog dog good? This is Michael John
and hype to John. Michael, there you go? How you doing?

(30:30):
How you doing? Blessed? Y'allall right? Making it? Yeah?
I was just talking about you guy. Did you hear me talking about you?
And Ayisha? We did? Wedid, uh think the honor to
be on the station and be,you know, be hearing your boy and

(30:52):
hearing you talk about our issue isthank you very much and we really do
appreciate it. Oh man, Iappreciate y'all. You were telling me last
night. I won't you tell meagain. I want you to tell it
so everybody can hear. You saidyou wanted to do something about this so
that it's not a young person oran older woman who's driving and their tags
are mistakenly put in or the policethinks their tags are stolen. You didn't

(31:17):
want that to happen to them.Tell me a little bit more about that.
That's correct. What the system is, suppose that do not know is
the automatic license plate reader, andwhat that does is every time you pass
one of those that takes a pictureof your license plate. The problem is
your license plate is not a uniqueidentifier. So what could potentially happen is

(31:38):
your license plate could be known inanother state, and if that license plate
is regular as stolen cars stolen, and a police officer that has the LRP
system on their vehicle, it's goingto pretty much pull you over. And
from what I've told it's not aregular track to stop anymore than ever felt.

(32:00):
If we want to prevent that,we want to make that change,
just because we do not want eighteenyear olds that just got their life and
to be put in that situation andthey don't know how to happen. We
don't want older people that are drivingin cards, whether you know people there
are taking them and transportingporting them aroundthey have a medical condition to be also

(32:22):
subjugated to that type of you know, procedure in the process. So we
have to put policies in place toprotect it from the growth, because we
know technology is growing every single dayand that could be a danger all the
good that it does do. Wealso have to protect the least of the

(32:44):
godfathers to the least of these Andmy wife, unfortunately was a victim of
that situation and she's the first responder. And when we look at that,
in the totality of it, it'salmost blue nurse and a blue uniform police
officer. And just as we haveto we want to respect officers and give

(33:07):
them their range to work, wealso want to we aught to have that
decency, so also when we seesomeone in a in a nursing uniform,
respect them. During COVID, wepraised nurses. We praised them because of
the awesome job that's doing during COVIDand now it's almost like we're easy to
get that. We easily forgot that. Uh So when that happened, you

(33:30):
know, it kind of it wasvery very sad, you know that they
didn't see her as a nurse andlet them thought like, okay, let
me put on my human cap andsay, okay, this to be it
could be me, you know,a nurse to be taking care of me
one day. You know. SoI just wanted I just want that to
be out there that it's a Idon't see it's a problem. I see

(33:51):
this as an opportunity to change, and not only in Memphis, but the
whole United States, because not onlyis this camera in memphisis in Detroit,
It's in New York, it's inAtlanta, uh if everywhere, and it's
growing. AI is going to getit's going to make some mistakes. That
technology is going to make some mistakes, and we want to Yeah, where's

(34:15):
she's right here, she's right here. Let me speak to a hey girl,
you okay, good good, You'regetting better day by day? Huh
yeah, day by day. Yeah, Well, honey, we're gonna key
key together. I can't wait tillwe get together. Honey, we're gonna

(34:36):
key key Okay. I'm glad youare okay, and thank you guys for
calling me, and I'm gonna Iwas gonna call you back, but I
said, let me get on thisradio and let him know what's going on,
and I put that call out.I'm so glad y'all were listening.
So glad you called. And hopefullynot only are you listening, hopefully,
uh, the mayor's office and hopefullythe police officers. Somebody will reach out

(35:00):
and you know, reach out toMayor Young and Chief Davis and see if
they'll give you a call as well. But I'm gonna call you back,
girl, because we got to gettogether. Okay. Thank you. I
am to and thank you and Michaelbecause I think you know, sometimes there
there's legislation that needs to be donethat we don't know about. And like
your like your husband said, withAI uh coming into existence and getting stronger

(35:22):
every day, it's probably gonna endup ruling the world. And uh,
we gotta we gotta, yeah, get ahead of things like that because it
could do more harm than good.Yeah, that's great, that's great.
Just even we would just did thefirst step of instead of verifying the tag
on the back end, if theycould just do that on the front end,

(35:44):
they help prevent in some people fromgetting hurt and and just escalating it
to a point where it doesn't evenneed to go. Yeah, where we
want want change, And I thinkthat that willctually help prevent and problems like
this. Thank you, Michael,Thank you, I Isha. I appreciate
y'all calling calling in and we're gonnatalk soon. Okay, all right,

(36:08):
thank y'all too. Stay stay strongout there, Michael, and and you
too, I Isha. We'll betalking soon. How much love, Thank
you, all right, much loveto you guys. Man, I love
them. I just feel like theyhave a heart for God and a heart
for people. Because you know, something like that happened to your wife.
You know you got I ain't youyou bless You got yourself a strong man

(36:31):
by your side? Ain't she blessed? Call it w d I A hello,
hey man, Hello to my fellownurse profession. I hate that happened
to you. My question is whenthe police stops you, is their first

(36:51):
step is to pull you out thecar and hand cuff you. That's a
good question. I mean that that'shumiliating in itself, and especially if you
are a cooperative person, you nottalking a lot of noise and being disrespectful.

(37:13):
Why do they have to treat youlike you already a criminal? That
is so humiliating. Yeah, youknow, And now I'm sure that's traumatizing.
You know. She never get overthat, never get over that.
And I just don't understand. Ithink what it is these police officers there
on edge, and they just wantto act and ask later. Act person

(37:37):
acts later, you know, AndI just I just feel bad, you
know, I feel sorry for her. You know, she's a professional person,
and so she had on a nurse'shead. And now I was a
little kind of taken aback by thatbecause I didn't know we still wore hats.
I stopped wearing nurses. Had westopped wearing nurses had a long time

(37:57):
ago. But maybe she had onone of these uh what you call it?
Uh she's like when you working inan area like surgery or something,
it's a sergex capt is. Maybethat's what it is. She had on
thought about that, but anyway,I hate that happened to her, and
I don't know if anything's going tobe done. About it. You know,

(38:17):
that's the thing about it. Ijust wonder when police pull people over
falsely, and especially when they mistreatthem and humiliate them, does ever any
corrective action or any restitution ever takeplace. That's interesting. That's interesting again.
Yeah, yeah, well, okay, and hat stop to that mom
that turned that daughter in. She'sprobably turned her in because the daughter probably

(38:42):
been giving her grief for a longtime and she just want to get up,
get get her put where she needto be because she's probably tired of
her getting on her nerves on that. So hats off too. More mothers
need to do that when they seetheir children. They cheldren been out of
order and they doing things that Greecewas like taking somebody's life. Right off

(39:06):
to that mom. All right,Nurse Beverly, all right, I'll be
looking for you Monday, okay, for show and tomorrow too, but for
show on Monday, okay, allright, all right, yes, ma'am.
Yeah, yeah, that had tobe tough to turn your child in.
Yeah, that that that had tobe a tough decision. You heard

(39:28):
her in the beginning of that videothat I played. She was crying.
She was, you know, justhard for her. To talk as she
was sharing, because I didn't wantnobody to come through this losing. Nobody
want somebody taken a lot. Inever did. Well, it's just heartbreaking,

(39:51):
it really is. It really isw D. I A hello,
how you doing? I'm good? What's up? Denver? I can't call
it, I can't call it realquick to that couple, I really applaud
them. I hate that happened tothem. The young man when he was
just speaking, I noticed one thinghe focused on fixing the problem, and

(40:15):
he focused on the actual problem, which was the AI system that MPD uses.
That's a great thing he's not outhot about. Oh yeah she did
that. My wife. They didthat because she's a black woman, and
you know, making it more thanwhat it some people would have done in
this day and age. And he'scorrect, absolutely correct. I think an

(40:39):
MPD I went through their academy.I think it's called showing going special.
When I was a copywaller, atraffic stop is considered we called a signal
eighteen. But in Memphis it's goingspecial. But anyway, whenever a traffic
stop turns into a felony stop, then the prone calls for that said stop

(41:01):
changes. Uh, The most dangerousis an unknown stop because you don't know
as an officer what you're dealing with. But a felony stop they're gonna it
kind of kicks up the intensity onthat situation because it's a felony stop.
How they respond, how they respond, just ma'am. Just just like if

(41:22):
someone calls the police and say, hey, my son, he's over here
acting crazy. Can't you send thecops, They're gonna respond. But if
they call and say, hey,my son is over here acting crazy and
he's got a gun in his hand, then the situation changes, didn't They
didn't know that until they verified it. But it is a flawed system.

(41:45):
I got handcuffed at least three timesbefore I left Memphis on bogus charges.
One guy officer handcuffed me and putme in the back of his car after
having his gun drawn when he approachedme because he said I had a murder
one out of New Brownswick, NewJersey. And I looked at that man
in his face and said, sir, I don't even know where the hell

(42:05):
that is, and I have amurder warn from there. So after being
in the back of his car forabout maybe ten minutes, they verified the
warring. It wasn't me, andof course they let me go. So
things like that happened because of theflaws of man and also the flaws that
they still have in AI. Realquick. Governor Canty Hochel is a joke.

(42:27):
She took over after they outed GovernorClomo. She's just a liberal hack.
I mean, she's she was.She had called herself virtue signalinging virtual
signaling to black people. Oh well, we're doing this to help the black
folks. But it's how she saidit. It is to say that black
kids don't know what the word computeris. In a sense, she's correct

(42:51):
because did not missus just deal withthat last year with a whole almost the
whole third grade class being held backbecause they can't even read. There's some
there's some flaws definitely in the inthe system gender and thank you so much
for coming in, calling in andI just you know, reiterated that as
well. Yeah, that teachers areeven saying that, you know, we
we're in a mess because these kidsthey got they they got trouble. They

(43:15):
some of them can't read w DI A hello doing, Hey, I'm
good, How are you all right? Two things if you were real quick.
It doesn't matter what type of jobso one works. They shouldn't be
subject to uh a mistake, mistakenstopped like that absolutely, Uh yeah,

(43:36):
because of some technicality or flaw withinthe system itself. What would have been
more traumatizing. I don't know whathappened. And I had they gotten out
with their guns, you're on ayoung lady, because with them thinking that
the car was stolen, they verywell could have you know what. I
need him to, Michael, maybeto call back and verify that because I
think he may have told me yesterdaythat that was the case. Uh huh.

(44:00):
And so see, she definitely maybe traumatized and traumatized. But yeah,
regards of what regards of whom thepresion is, something like that should
never happen. So they need toupgrade their system. Now. This thing
about the children and the teacher,I'm surprised to there's some stuff, some
of the things that I've heard expensive, especially some of the men say,

(44:22):
you know, the kids don't goto school to do anything like that.
I don't care how fun of theteacher they are, and how fun the
teacher may be of them. He'sthere to teach they're there to learn,
not to be undoing his hair.He was all the way in the wrong
to allowing them to do that. And correct me if I'm wrong in regards
to the guy to call you fromMichigan. I think you said that the

(44:45):
teacher, I mean, you know, the parents okay for him to show
the video, right, uh huh? Not okay for the kids for the
kids to do undo his hair.If I understood him correctly, he thought
you said it was the parents okay, the children to take down to her.
But none than this. No,No, the parents were okay with
all of it. They were okaywith all of it. Yep. But

(45:07):
but but but it was after thepeck that the parents. No. I
think he made them aware prior toI think that's what he said. Go
see the video ten seventy w di A where he gives the explanation of
everything that happened. He talked aboutthe parents. He talked about all of
that in that video that's posted.Ok okay, okay, listen, is

(45:28):
real quick. If the parents okay, that that's very apparent is because you
shouldn't be made your children do nothinglike that. At school, we teach
out our kids not even be touchingon the little girls the little boys.
Next thing you know that teacher twoor three years later you're hear about him
touching on something child that he don'tsupposed to be touching on. The shouldn't
be happening under no circus bands. All right, talking about all right,

(45:51):
coming man, thank you for callingin w D I A hello, good
evening, stay hey, good evening. How are you. I'm good.
He's kind of opening the door tothe devil if you don't stay, stay
away. I'm trying to tell you, I don't understand. But it's a
difference today with teachers. They're younger, and I know ain't no wading to

(46:15):
teach his handbooks that would have letthat young man know it's okay. I
don't care if the town did.Okay, it's not appropriate for you to
be letting them the girls take yourhair down in school, niggro, spend
some money and go to the businessjob. That's what they fuss. And
I'm quite sure this man had somefemale family members, all significant others,

(46:36):
a wife or girlfriend or somebody thatcould have took his hair down. He
didn't have to hair those little girlstaking his hair down. What happened to
a Southern teacher boundaries. It saidsome things you just don't do. It's
just some things don't look appropriate. And for a teacher to do this,
I said, that's a no noe. I just don't understand it. Then

(46:58):
he can, said him, saying, well, I really didn't think I
was doing anything wrong. She gotnervous. The way if it was a
female teacher, wouldn't beat all ofthis. I mean, shut up and
say I'm sorry. I didn't meanin a home. Yeah, yeah,
you know, they don't take thatwild because to me, y'all read wrong.
And then you're gonna jumpify your owness. Now, don't do that,

(47:19):
brother, And I know ain't noteacher's handbook telling them is okay, I'm
a teacher, then a student cakethey had it. I mean they need
to jump for the female students teachersand and male teachers up in here having
sex with the students. I mean, what's round water of them? There's
not no tree fall. You gotto you got to tell yourself a certain

(47:43):
way. And and next time,I bet you what what what did Kevin?
How? I say, I betshe's gonna learn today. Thank you.
You just don't do thank you,and I hope he was listening.
Bye bye. You know y'all heardthe saying don't let the devil ride.

(48:05):
Y'all can figure y'all. Some ofy'all finishing it right now. I can't
even hear you, but y'all finishit right. I hear you say it.
Say it again, don't let thedevil ride because he don't want to
drive. He want he want todrive? Is he want to d Keep

(48:27):
saying, well, on your feet, good evening, the stormy heay,
good evening, Miss Eileen. Here, Miss Eileen, let me say this
real quick. I texted Aisha toask her if the police had their guns
drawn, and she said no gunswere drawn. So I just want to
clarify that no guns were drawn whenthey pulled her over. But they did
put her in handcuffs and sit herinside of the police car, but no

(48:51):
guns were drawn. Just wanted toclarify that. All right, talk to
me now, how you doing? And I said, no, stormy,
stormy, how are you behind blastMother's day? Yes, my birthday being
johnson birthday coming on, So thisis exactly what my grandma would have done.
You right home and out of betweenA man list, talking about taking

(49:15):
give me that shoes, be inthe back, in the back, hit
in the back, mister. Justwhoop up with the little swear, take
them here home and love and muscle, put the dogs down, pick the
babies up. Happy holiday. Lovesyou miss something? I love you too?
You too? Yeah? Man?Yeah, m w d I A

(49:37):
hello, Hello, Hello mister.Well I'm good. How are you?
I'm all right, I'm all right, I'm all right. Good talk to
me, mister. We got afew minutes talk to me. Yeah.
With that, with that being there, done, and said, yeah,
they need to upgrade their computers everything, because with something like that, it's

(49:59):
gonna honestly keep making mistakes. Andthat's not that's not really fair. That's
not fair that nobody have to gothrough what she went through. And I
still say that police officer did whathe did. I think he needed to
come back and apologize because I thinkhe was in the wrong. Yeah,
I think she said one of theofficers did. There were three officers.

(50:19):
One of them apologized, but theother two just went on about their business.
Well, the other two need tocome back because that wasn't right.
It's just a police officers these days. I don't know what really going on,
but something to me is telling meit ain't right. It's just the
feeling I get and the way andthe way they approaching Pete. Yeah,

(50:40):
that was a pretty That had tobe a pretty tough situation. Thank you,
miss Joel. You know I saluteour police officers. I do because
I know they got a tough job, and honestly some of them. I
mean, you think a car stolen, your on edge, but you know,
once you know you're not in danger. Come on now, come on,

(51:02):
now, come on now, wd I a hello? Hello?
If you let him ride, ifyou let him ride, come on here,
you push you to the side.Hey, don't let him ride?
Show me, yeah, don't letthat devil ride. Baby. I just

(51:23):
want to sneak that up in there. Thank you. Look that used to
be my mom's favorite song, whichhe was living, uh to sing it
all the time. D let thedevil ride. Yes, take us the
church and show me yes, loveyou bye bye. Oh that's gonna y'all,

(51:45):
and took me to church. That'sgonna do it for the show today.
If you're on hold, hang on, I'm coming to you. I'll
try to get you in between thesongs. Thank y'all for hanging with me.
I'm gonna podcast the show. Ireally am so uh. Don't move
