I saw that video, and I don't know if you
guys saw it. Tornado Jackson. How far is Jackson promised?
What is that three hours or so? Yeah, something was
swirling around in the air.

Looked like a tornado to me, but it wasn't.

It wasn't like cloudy, like a normal tornado what it
would look like. But there was stuff flying all over
the place, So it had to be a tornado because
things were going around in a circle in the video
that I saw on social media wasn't posted too long ago.
So yeah, it looks like Jackson, tennessee a tornado.

I also saw too where community safe rooms will be
open at two Memphis schools if a tornado warning is issued.

be handing out snacks? It's gonna be available after school. Pets, weapons, alcohol,

of an apartment building. I believe five people died. That
was like unbelievable. Yeah, So praying for the folks down

the pieces from you know, the storms the other day Uh. So, yeah,
it's it's stormy time of the year. No pun intended
towards me, but yeah, tornado season. Uh and on the
heels of tornado season is a hurricane season. We get
a lot of rain generally around this time of year,
so we are getting a lot of rain. But I

really was hoping that I don't want to be in
the closet again.

we're going down to New Orleans the jail. The maintenance
workers down now. Maintenance worker done got fired, well, arrested,
accused of helping those ten inmates escape the facility. I

If one of them came to your house after you
found out that the reward is ten to twenty thousand
dollars for turning them in, would you turn them in?

The jail employee down in New Orleans, they say he
was connected.

He was.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
They arrested him in connection with the recent inmates escaping
from Orleans Paris jail. According to reports, Sterling Williams, who's
thirty three, was taken into custody by local authorities on Monday.
Now you've got to go inside. You gonna end up
inside where they used to be. Now, all you have
to do is mind your business. Anyway, that happened on yesterday.

Jail records show that he's facing one count of fees
ins in office and ten counts of simple escape. So
urs to say that Williams worked as a maintenance staffer
at that facility. I know he was on maintenance. He
wasn't even a corrections officer. Lord a mercy.

While three employees were initially suspended without pay following the escape,
Williams is currently the only one to face arrest. Now,
last I saw, and I haven't looked in the last
thirty minutes, four of them were captured. The last one
that was captured was sleeping on a bench. Now you

you gonna go down the street and sleep on a bench,
you might as well have stayed in jail. Now you're
gonna spend some more time. Oh my goodness, What would
you do? What would you do if they one of
them showed up at your house because somebody that saw
this man sleeping on the jail, whoever that person is,
that call the police.

you drop bun you still got to go to court,
whether they convite you or not, and for a trial.

City of Memphis, now the Memphis Alcohol Commission, and the

owner of the station over alleged loophole in the city's
alcohol regulations. Entrepreneur Ethan Edwards said that he has invested
a million dollars to open the station right a twenty
five thousand dollars square foot liquor store and more in
the former bed and bath and beyond building. Okay, that
addresses roughly fifteen fifteen hundred feet from a nearby Woodland

Presbyterian Church and school, depending on how you know you
measure it. And that's where the trouble lies. The current
City Code is not clear about mandated distance between Memphis
liquor store establishments and schools, churches, libraries, and parks. You know,

at times it's been fifteen hundred feet, but the code's
latest amendment in twenty twelve left the portion or left
that portion that was supposed to be regulated.
