Speaker 1 (00:00):
Because yeah, today, earlier on V one oh one, I
was off the air over there, and so I mean
it was just like what is going on up in
the studio, trying to figure it out, and then you know,
having to come over here. As soon as I got
on at three o'clock, I had some issues and made
me nervous. I said, oh my goodness, from one station
(00:20):
to the next, because it seemed like everything on wd
I A was going better. BEV had some issues earlier today,
So y'all, we we I did not know when Sam
mentioned it this morning inside of his school that the
Amazon outages were going to affect all of us, and
(00:40):
evidently we didn't know what time it would happen too.
So today, I mean, I'm just getting back up in here,
all happy and and then got a little stressed out
because it's stressful. It's stressful when you when you come
to work and you like and I know, you know, y'all,
can y'all, can y'all, y'all, y'all, I can understand you
go to work and you know, you work and trying
(01:02):
to work on something and something is down.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
I know some people use.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
It as a break, but and it breaks around here
you gotta stay, and you gotta stay and wait for
things to come back up and and uh, you know,
get back together. So yeah, it was kind of stressful
because I was like, oh my goodness, I need to
be doing so many other things, but I had to
sit still, hold on tight and just wait. Yeah, just wait.
(01:25):
So we are on the air, which is good news.
So hopefully we're gonna stay this way hopefully. Yeah, hopefully
it's gonna it's gonna be good. So yeah, thank you
for being here with me today. I appreciate you back
up in here on this uh beautiful October the twentieth.
It's a Monday weather. It's nice outside. Man, this is
(01:47):
some nice weather. Just FYI, I know you already know.
This weather's mighty fine. Might define this National Branded Fruit Day?
Brandied fruit? Do you put brand on the fruit? I mean,
what's up with dead brandied fruit? And we all want it?
Speaker 2 (02:08):
A National Suspender's Day.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
We're gonna pass on that one too. An International Sloth Day,
I mean, God blessed the sloths. But uh, okay, I
hate I tell you about all that, but I am back.
I've got a lot of questions. People are really asking me,
a lot of questions because I didn't tell anybody about
(02:33):
I did tell y'all, because you know y'all of my families.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
I did tell y'all. I had a man I told y'all.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
Know, I told y'all, but I didn't tell you that
all the other juicy details. And then I posted a
picture from my wedding day. I almost not didn't say anything,
but I thought, you know what I mean, you know,
only happens to a girl once in her life, Am
(03:01):
I wrong?
Speaker 3 (03:01):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Twice? Some girls? Only for me? Though, it's only going
to be some people. What three four?
Speaker 1 (03:08):
I mean, hey, some people they do it till they
get it right. I ain't mad at you, but I
don't want it. Uh, one and done, one and done.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
And I waited pretty late in life to to do this,
And it wasn't because I waited. Actually it was I
feel like it was God's timing for me because I
thought that I never I know that I never wanted
to be married. And then when I finally started coming around,
(03:40):
and you know, me and God started having those conversations,
I was like, you know what, I got my stuff
together now, you know, my credit scores up there, and uh,
I had a little change in the bank.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
And I think it might be done, you know, for
me to you know, and then voilah.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
Yeah, so uh yeah, it happened. And Miss Jewelle just
said or not Miss Jewell. But somebody say you didn't
post a picture of him, didn't yet and I did.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
I did.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
It's all my social media and I made it public
so everybody who wanted to go and see, because I
know some people are inquisitive, I won't say the other word.
And uh that you'll you can, you can go see
my man, my man, my man. So a lot has
happened in two weeks. A whole lot has happened. I've
been asking questions too, what is he gonna do? What
(04:32):
is Steve Cohen gonna do? And what are you gonna do?
You're gonna keep going with Cohen? Are you gonna take
that young whip a snapper? Because I believe Justin Pearson
is gonna throw his hat in the ring. And I'm
gonna tell you, y'all we talked about it before.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
On this show.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
It's been tight when it comes to people trying to
unseat or shall I say, dethroned Steve Cohen. I believe
was it Ricky Ricky, I'm man now his last name
is escaping me. He was the last person to almost
(05:12):
do it. He almost got him. Mayor Harrington tried to
do it. Mm hmmm mmmmm.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Nobody's been able to do it.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
So I do wonder if that young whipper snapper is
gonna be able to do it. And it's is are
we Is he going to run again? I mean, and
I'm curious because when I talked to you guys about
this before, when I told you that the possibility of
Barey Harris running was possible, you know, there was a possibility, and.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
He may still try to, you know, put his hat
in the ring. You guys were saying you were gonna
keep going with Cohen. But if it's justin Pearson, are
you hmm.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
What'sy' all gonna do? And that's a it's a really
good que question because.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
I think before elections happen, you need to educate yourself
with who you want to vote for. And for those
of you that maybe you haven't been taking a part
of taking part in the process and you want to
get in on this thing, you know, this is a
good time to find out who these people are you
know what I'm saying, what they're doing to find out?
Speaker 2 (06:24):
Are they grand standing?
Speaker 1 (06:28):
Are are they really the man for the job and
the person who's been in there forever forever ever? Have
they really done what they said they were going to
do or are they a place holder? Are they just
holding a seat and really holding up progress while they're
(06:52):
doing it? Because I think were in a place where's
time out, time out for people who are just it
for themselves. Man, don't don't let me say this to
people that want to run for other us.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Don't don't do that for you. Don't don't do that.
Don't don't get the position.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
Get all the praise, the popularity, the support, and then
forget about the rest of us. Don't do that. And
maybe it's hard for some people. Maybe the temptation to
do whatever it is that you want to do is
so powerful. You can help yourself if you wanted to,
(07:30):
you couldn't help it. Even if you could. Don't do it.
Don't run.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
If you feel like.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
You know you just gonna be in there just getting
what you can get in it, how you live it
or feel it or whatever, don't do it.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
Set down and take several seats.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
Let somebody in there that's gonna actually put a panson
or whatever it is.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
And do it.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
And maybe there's somebody who's listening to me. And you you, you,
you got the passion, you got the heart, you really
want to do it. You've been, you've been, you've been
faithful and whatever it is you're doing, and you feel like,
let me stop talking and let me get in the game.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
Get in now. It's what they said in that song
the Wobble.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
Get in now, Get in there, and and and yeah,
do some work, man, be passionate for people. Go go
and and and do the right thing. Stop being cautionary tales.
You know what I'm saying, And and and you know,
just do right by people, man, Just do Can we
all just get along? Can we all just do right
(08:41):
by people? Can we can we have somebody in in
office that really does care about us? Let me tell you,
I don't I don't know the last person that we've had.
Maybe I'm in a soapbox.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
Let me get on you.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
I ain't been talking to y'all, ain't been in two weeks.
Give me some grace. Uh, last person that I can remember,
and I wasn't even I was born a year before
he died.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
It was really powerful and that we all still talk
about today. Is doctor Martin Luther King? Is it just me?
You got somebody?
Speaker 1 (09:15):
And I know everybody wants to be doctor Martin Luther King. Man,
be yourself, run your own race. Stop trying to be alright, alright,
ah hush, all.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
Right, I'll be quiet praying for these kids.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
Did y'all see CBS had a story about ninety one,
five hundred and eighty five pounds of prepackaged breakfast burritos
and raps served to low income students across the US
as part of the federally funded school breakfast and lunch programs,
maybe contaminated with listeria, then recalled hopefully they got it
(09:54):
before them kids got to it.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
Okay, Carolyn said, Stormy, you are hilarious. Credit score? Yeah girl,
I did.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
I got my credit score up. Shoot girl, I'm banging
on a.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
Hey Hannah.
Speaker 4 (10:14):
Ah.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
Anyway, yeah, so I will tell you some things that
that you know, I'm kind of sad about today.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
The folks in Whitehaven.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
I don't know what caused them to be in the
situation that they're end on, but now that I know
they're on the verge of being homeless. Somebody sent me
a message on Facebook to try to help those folks, and.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
They sent it while I was out. I think it
was on my honeymoon.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
And I really haven't had a chance to really look
at it and see what they're talking about, but I
think they were trying to do something maybe over the
weekend or when I was out, for for those those people.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
And I do see. I mean, it's just sad. It's
just it's just sad to you know. Hear in.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
Fox thirteen did the story and they talked to a
woman who said that everybody.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
Basically, she said, everybody, you're gonna have to figure it up.
Speaker 5 (11:06):
Fox thirteen spoke with one young mother who asked not
to be identified. She said she's part of a program
that houses dozens of families who are facing homelessness. The
letter warns all the social program clients that their last
day is October twentieth.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
Yeah, and that is I believe, Wait October twentieth. Okay,
so they've got an extension I think to Wednesday, and
then I think they may have an extension a little
bit longer than that. So hopefully and prayer for le
those folks are going to be okay, man, it's these
are interesting times that we are in so for for
a lot of folks and so, yeah, politicians, you known, hey,
(11:48):
there you go.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
That's something to take up. You know what I'm saying, Help.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
Them, as my aunt would say, hope them, you know,
help help these people out they need hope they do.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
Let me see, I was trying to think of some
other things that happened.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
I know, the National Guard finally made their arrival in
Memphis and marily Harris. I saw where he and the
other politicians were talking about suing Governor Lee. I saw
where the court said, Nope, not gonna be able to
do it. So yeah, they did have a press conference
on today too, talking about that very thing.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
So if I get a chance, I'll let you hear
a little bit from that press conference that happened on
the day. M Yeah, so he's not gonna be able
to sue. They're going to stay here, and word is
they're gonna be here for a minute. Word that's the
words word on the street.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:44):
So and a lot of people are talk, like I said,
talking about what they're doing and all that good stuff.
Let me see what else I miss? No, Kings two
went to the No Kings the rally over the weekend,
the protest over the weekend. A lot of people went,
a lot of people popular in Highland.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
Mm hm. My one of my girlfriends went.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
She said she was wanting to go with somebody and
she was talking to her daughter and her daughter.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
Said, Mama, just go, and she went.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
Another friend of mine said they went to the press
to the protest as well.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
The No Kings protest.
Speaker 4 (13:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Man, so let's see what else happened around here. Tammy
Sawyer got into a little something some that ain't over
yet because I hear the TB I is investigating or
something like that what happened with her.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
This has been a lot going on, not going on.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
That outage affected a whole lot of people. I think
it the fate affected us because I couldn't get on
the air just a minute ago. So yeah, a whole
lot going on in this country, in this world. If
I miss something, I've been, I've been.
Speaker 6 (13:49):
I've been.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
I'm gonna tell you I've been waking up with Stan
every morning now because I wanted to, even on my honeymoon.
That's because my man loved this radio station.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
Every morning.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
If stan Bell was on this radio. Baby, I was
up okay every morning, including my wedding day. Anyway, let's
go to the phone. See what you're talking about today.

Speaker 1 (15:06):

Speaker 8 (15:12):

Speaker 2 (15:15):

Speaker 11 (15:32):

Speaker 8 (15:34):
Yeah, because you're on the radio, and you got haters
out there, and they might.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
I do I do you know what?
Speaker 1 (15:44):
Hold on one second, I'm forgetful. I was I was
talking about, uh, the person that went up against Steve
Cohen a minute ago. It was Ricky Wilkins. That's who
it was. Thank you, Julius, appreciate that.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
Go ahead.
Speaker 7 (15:55):
I'm forgetful about their situation.
Speaker 8 (15:58):
Showman, I don't understand. Well, people don't see what's going on.
You get these people all in the dog gun election
and Coring gonna end up winning anyway.
Speaker 7 (16:09):
We only need one person to go against the manion.
Speaker 12 (16:13):

Speaker 8 (16:14):
We don't need Lee Hards and Paul Young and Ricky
Floyd and Ricky William whatever, all these people got it
up there. Who do you think gonna win?
Speaker 3 (16:25):
You need? Come then?
Speaker 8 (16:28):
See coin and gave million dollar it a organization, ninety
nine hundred thousand dollars to this organization. You don't think
they got people already line up because they're gonna get them.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Vote for him.
Speaker 8 (16:44):
You think that's had work? People, y'all only need one
person to go against them to get him out of there.
Y'all Black people, y'all need to come together and stop
playing games out here.
Speaker 2 (16:57):

Speaker 1 (17:56):

Speaker 7 (18:03):

Speaker 10 (18:05):

Speaker 4 (18:23):

Speaker 7 (18:26):
Count of Maryville a joke, and he's been in office anyway.
Speaker 4 (18:29):
And Steve Coin his record speaks for himself.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
Wait a minute, Wait a minute, are you telling me

Speaker 7 (18:42):

Speaker 11 (18:45):

Speaker 17 (18:46):
What have you shown?
Speaker 18 (18:47):
What have he did for this city? Storm outside? Come
here and play for the camera. He ain't did nothing,
He ain't got none on this record. On't think I
said on the record, got kicked, he kicked out of
the Senate up there.
Speaker 19 (18:59):
I showed me nothing.
Speaker 7 (19:02):
I'm going.
Speaker 17 (19:02):
I'm going.
Speaker 18 (19:03):
I'm going with what somebody on show me in the
counter and the counter may show.
Speaker 4 (19:08):

Speaker 18 (19:10):

Speaker 20 (19:16):
Install that yep in Stamer, you didn't have to tell

don't want to see you happy.
Speaker 4 (19:36):

All this right here being y'all be and just keep
it like of being in storming.
Speaker 1 (19:48):
Thank you so much, appreciate that. Clyde Wise man, ain'ty
w d I a hello.
Speaker 21 (19:56):
Monday.
Speaker 22 (19:57):
Yeah, they call it storm in Monday and Tuesday just
the same.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
And it is a Monday, it sure is.
Speaker 22 (20:06):
I want to be the third of the fourth to
congratulate you. I wish you much, wedded bliss and by
the way, happy man.
Speaker 4 (20:18):
Stay on the plan. Okay, okay, So but anyway, I
wanted to read a couple of paragraphs.
Speaker 16 (20:26):
Very quickly if I could, absolutely on Attorney Constance Rights,
who was the second cousin of CONNELLSA Right, and and
her non litigation work in the nineteen nineties.
Speaker 22 (20:40):
Right serves as counsel to the Watch Gang Troops and
superhero superheaded a statewide campaign and save equal opportunity programs.
Mayors Tom Bradley and Richard Ridden appointed Right to the
governor Board of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power,
where she served as president and acted contracting reform and
environmental advances.
Speaker 16 (21:01):
In nineteen ninety eight, Rights.
Speaker 22 (21:03):
Help lead a successful campaign to place aggressive public school
reformers on the governing board for Los Angeles Public Schools.
As a litigator, Right has filed class action civil rights
cases addressing police misconduct, race and sex discrimination, and untrailed
public policy in transportation, probation and public housing. Defiled a
(21:28):
landmark case on behalf of the bus riders union that resulted.
Speaker 10 (21:32):
In a mandate that more than.
Speaker 22 (21:34):
Two billion dollars be spent to improve the Los Angeles
bus system. In nineteen ninety nine, Rights launched a coalition
lawsuit that won seven hundred and fifty million for new
school construction in Los Angeles.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
Now, David, did you say this is Condalleza? Rice's what
relation is she to Condaaleza?
Speaker 10 (21:54):
Second?
Speaker 4 (21:55):
Second, cousin, Let me read that over.
Speaker 22 (22:00):
In nineteen ninety nine, I'm about finished too. In nineteen
ninety nine, Rights launched a coalition lawsuit that won seven
hundred and fifty million for new school construction in Los Angeles,
money previously fled it to less crowded, more affluent suburban
school districts. Indeed, and other cases, Rights has led multi
racial coalitions of lawyers and clients to win more than
(22:23):
four billions of injunctive injunctive relief and damages. She the
Hobbit and New York University graduate. Unfortunately, I can't find
anything on the indet other than to twenty twelve, So
I hope she's doing well. But again, she was a
person involved in the Watch Gang truths. So what I
mentioned on the air this morning and before that, it
(22:46):
is a good idea to speak to these gang members
that maybe we can solve these issues. And what I neglected,
remember that I'm about done. What I neglected to mention
about Magic Johnson was that that was the beginning the
proof of concept that made Magic Johnson a billionaire. It
wasn't the sole reason why obviously that he was successful,
but he thought it was important enough for the success
(23:09):
of that theater and the restaurants and the rest that
he had and put in the urban centate community because
many people thought you couldn't put it in there, you
couldn't put it in the inner city, that it would
be successful.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
I got you.
Speaker 23 (23:19):
You did that, Yeah, I got you.
Speaker 4 (23:22):
I became a billionaire, all right.
Speaker 2 (23:25):
I know, thank you, David, Yeah, I appreciate you.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
Chiming in and giving us a little history up in here,
trying to let us know what's really going on. And
people that have been doing the work A lot of
people that have been doing the work here in Memphis.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
Uh, and again, thank you, David.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
A lot of people that have been doing the work
here in Memphis don't want to run for elected in
any political position. I wonder if we can change some
folks' minds.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
Hmm. I will call a few names, but I ain't
gonna do it. Not gonna do it. We're gonna come
back and we're gonna talk some more. Brother Bernard out
the gate.
Speaker 1 (24:00):
It's saying, Marcus, miss Jewel bootsy, y'all hold on.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
We'll be back in a moment.
Speaker 1 (24:04):
Thank you, thank you, thank you, because you could have
been doing anything, but you're right here with me, and
I appreciate.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
You so much.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
Mister Albert Mosby. Ricky Wilkins, you're absolutely right, sir.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
People haven't forgot because Ricky Wilkins gave Steve Cohen a
run for his money.
Speaker 2 (24:22):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
Now, I don't know how well Justin Pearson will do
or if Mayor Lee Harris were to getting that race.
I don't know how well he will do. But we
do know that Steve Cohen has been man. He has
had his seat on lock, as the young folks say,
for a long time, and he keeps telling us every
(24:46):
year to keep going. Y'all finished it? Uh huh. So
I don't know what will happen, but you know, I
was thinking about something and I was actually talking to
a friend today and we were talking about that.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
I was watching this movie. There's a movie on.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
Oh my goodness Prime and I think it's Mark Wahlberg
and the young guy that was on Insecure is in
that movie. I was watching that movie and I was like,
you know, cause they were were they thieves? What were they?
Speaker 2 (25:22):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (25:22):
They were thieves? Thieves sure enough. I can't remember the
name of the movie. But then I saw where the
robbery took place over.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
In Was it London? Was it the UK? Wherever it was.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
Where they robbed an actual museum and stole some valuable jewelry?
Have they had to shut that museum down? And he
had me thinking, it's so many thieves in this world.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
What is happening? If y'all noticed it? Have people just
stealing stuff just all willy nilly? Now, what is going on?
Why are so many beeps.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
Well, stealing and some of these folks that are stealing
ain't broke, then I broke some of them ay poor
because because that job that they pulled off at that
museum that took money for somebody to do. Everybody ain't
broke the CC. People think it's just broke people to steal.
Speaker 16 (26:21):
A lie.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
It's people that got money they're stealing. What is wrong
with y'all?
Speaker 2 (26:26):
Where what is happening with the moral compass of people?
Is it?
Speaker 1 (26:33):
Is it to where now nowadays that people are thinking, weep, if.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
They stole it, we can steal it too. Weep if
he cheated, I can cheat too. Is that what we're
doing now?
Speaker 1 (26:47):
Everybody ain't doing that, But it just seems like, and
I guess when you hear stories like that, and you
hear so many stories of people stealing, it makes you
think everybody's stealing, But everybody is. Everybody ain't stealing. A
lot of people stealing nowadays, there's a lot of them.
Miss muse Hey, she says, congratulations, Stormy, So happy for
(27:08):
you and your man. Thank you, girl, Mims. Tracy towns, Hey, girl,
she says, congratulations to you. I'm very happy for you,
wishing you many years of marriage life with the blessings
of God. Your wedding pictures are beautiful. You owe no
one a name of your husband or explanation of why
you kept it off air. But I know you don't
need me to say that. I've been missing you. Your
(27:32):
evening show, Glad your back, have a wonderful evening.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
Ah, Y're so sweet, so sweet.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
I got a whole lot of that on social media,
and I just I can't do it, can't call everybody's names,
and people have tapped the appitude. But we're gonna go
back to the phones and see what you guys are
saying on today. WDIA Hello, you know what I messed up?
Speaker 2 (27:53):

Speaker 14 (27:56):
Hello, Hey, congratulations, Thank you.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
Brother Bernard, how you doing doing well?
Speaker 11 (28:04):
So?
Speaker 22 (28:04):
I mean, you know what, before I let him go,
Justin Peerson needs to decide that he is very protester
or a lawmaker.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
Wait a minute, brother Bernard, you're doing something with that phone.
Come on back to us.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
Hold all, yeah, come on back to can you that
that's much better? Talk to me?
Speaker 4 (28:28):
Yeah? Justin Pierce needs to decide if he's a protester
or a lawmaker, because as one who has served as
a legislative intern in the one hundred and seventh session
under Lower's deep here we have to pay attention to
the laws that they're making, and he can protest from
the sideline, but we need people who are going to
(28:48):
be effective with some meaningful change. And that's that's that
on it. So on another note, I did see where
the TV I they have investigating Hammy Saw and you
know with that that foolishness which seems to be in
line with you know, these couple of elected people. We
need some boy that we need people with with text
(29:12):
so they have less to a tract. Stormy, thank you
for taking my car?
Speaker 1 (29:16):
All right, brother Manard quick with it and he's a
poet and didn't know it.

Speaker 2 (31:10):

Speaker 23 (31:14):
It is that when.
Speaker 21 (31:16):
You go to the psychologist where you put you in
the coach and he talked, right, this is the.
Speaker 4 (31:23):
You know, you know, these black folks are gonna.
Speaker 21 (31:26):

Speaker 2 (32:16):
But the SBA and said, look.
Speaker 21 (32:18):
We're gonna fund black businesses in this community, so black
people can't have an economic base.
Speaker 2 (32:26):
Say we don't have it.
Speaker 8 (32:28):
It's economics that drive politics.
Speaker 4 (32:31):
You know, That's where we get it wrong.
Speaker 8 (32:33):
It's economics that drive politics.
Speaker 7 (32:36):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 21 (32:37):
These people fund common fund things and something in the
pay off people, Hey pay this one hap. And you
know the other day that past that was on the
program that they that was hosting for a.
Speaker 2 (32:52):
Bit, are you talking about whale.
Speaker 21 (32:56):
Yeah, and he said something Inau I listened to, you know,
he said, and the mayor had a meeting with a
lot of these black preachers in these community, right, and
they promised that they are going to support him and
by s helping, by directing the audience congregation to support
(33:21):
black businesses in this community.
Speaker 26 (33:23):
Right.
Speaker 21 (33:24):
He said, ninety percent that was people relieved on him.
Now I guarantee you that that ninety percent is going
to tell the congregation God, theyn't vote for the small hat.
Speaker 4 (33:38):
God, vote for this young brother.
Speaker 7 (33:40):
Here that is spitting fire.
Speaker 4 (33:42):
That's God.
Speaker 21 (33:43):
I know he's going to bring economic salvage. They're going
to tell them, now, do support him, Go support the
small hat, because the small hat is the chosen people
of God.
Speaker 8 (33:55):
We keep self sabotage in ourself, you.
Speaker 21 (33:58):

Give yourself a big hug for me. I'm listening as always.
I won't be able to call in because I've got
a meeting to attend, but I love you and I
miss you and being on the air.
Speaker 2 (39:28):
So glad that you're back.
Speaker 1 (39:29):
Now, you make sure and get out of their own
time today and get home to your man.
Speaker 2 (39:37):
Ah No, that's right.
Speaker 1 (39:38):
Hey, yeah, Nurse Beverly was talking about something that I
posted on social media. When I posted that, I wasn't.
It took me a minute because I wanted to when
I did share our love with the world and him
with the world, I wanted to say, you know, I
(40:01):
want to come from my heart, kind of like I
did when I gave my vowels.
Speaker 2 (40:05):
When I got married.
Speaker 1 (40:06):
I couldn't see my vowels because I had my contacts
in and so I couldn't see them all. So I
tried to remember everything. So I didn't get a chance
to say all of them at our wedding. So a
night or two later, because I wrote it down and
one of my pictures. That's what I was doing, writing
(40:27):
down my vowels. And a night or two later, I
at night, when we were all alone, I read him
my actual wedding vowels and then I posted something on Facebook.
But maybe a week later, I posted something on Facebook
about how this happened, and a lot of people reached
(40:49):
out to me, and they said that I gave them hope,
and I appreciate that, and you know, I'm thankful that
I bless somebody. But the person that I was really
intent on blessing was was him because of not only
because of what he means to me, but because he is.
Speaker 2 (41:10):
H Yeah, anyway, we're gonna take a break. We're gonna
come back and talk to y'all.
Speaker 1 (41:18):
Jackson out the gate at the gate, Golden Girl. Let
me see, I got Miss Freddie just Black. Who else
is al?
Speaker 2 (41:28):
Miss Chew? Well, y'all hold on, We'll be back in
a moment. Okay. Yeah, it's a good month to find.
Speaker 1 (41:34):
Out about both of those things, you know what I'm saying,
and you know, maybe share some information with some people.
I met a woman at the airport and that woman
was telling me, I don't know, she just told me
about her life, and she told me that she had,
you know, used to have breast cancer. And she told me,
I think she said it was triple negative and was
(41:57):
the kind that she had, and I think she.
Speaker 2 (41:58):
Said it was rare. It was one of those rare ones.
Speaker 1 (42:01):
At any rate, she was telling me that she was
Actually the reason she checked herself was because she was
watching something on the news or TV about, you know,
checking yourself, and it was telling you now to raise
your hands, you know, and check check your breast with
the other hand, and you know, raise your arm above
your head and then check your breast.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
And she said she found something. That's how she found it.
Speaker 1 (42:24):
Yeah, so's it's, you know, one of those months that
you know, it's good to share that information because we
think that a lot of people know certain things. You know,
young women don't know anything about checking themselves like that.
Speaker 2 (42:36):
You know, a lot of them don't. And I don't
know why, but a lot of them don't.
Speaker 1 (42:42):
And so it is good to share that information with
somebody that you know, that you meet. And you know,
when she was telling me about it, she told me
something else. She said, you know, what she's been taught
and I don't know if this is something that we've
been taught here in Memphis. Who when it comes to
breast cancer survivors, she said, she is a survivor I
(43:03):
think over five years. And she said, you're really technically
not a survivor until it's been like five years or
something like that.
Speaker 2 (43:11):
So I don't know if that's true.
Speaker 1 (43:13):
Honey, you survivor to me, if you make it through,
you're here because you know you you are.
Speaker 2 (43:18):
Yeah. But she was talking about that.
Speaker 1 (43:20):
Just you know, sharing some stuff with me, and I
just listened because first of all, it seemed like it
needed it was something that she needed to talk about.
And then second it's like you never know when you
might need that information. Maybe not for you, maybe for
somebody else. Yeah, I'm going.
Speaker 2 (43:35):
To the app, and Jackson, I'm coming to you.
Speaker 1 (43:37):
So hold on, let's go to this app and see
what you're talking about.
Speaker 2 (43:41):
Congratulations, don thank you and your host nation all forf Okay, Yeah,
thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (43:51):
And just a reminder, when you tap the app, make
sure you turn everything down in the background so that
we don't hear everything.
Speaker 2 (43:57):
We just hear you. Okay, this is j.
Speaker 3 (44:04):
Clad should be mail mean bye. You don't do anything
e won't usually tagged, or why do tag last for
a year and you're driving the last eleven at eight?
That don't make no sense. He needs to go.
Speaker 2 (44:25):
All right? Thank you, thank you, thank you for tapping
that out. Good afternoon and stormy yay. I was so
elated to see those beautiful pictures. And you are absolutely beautiful,
young lady. Thank you. I'm wishing you with the most happiness.
Speaker 1 (44:45):
But always remember to keep God in your all's business
and don't let anybody else get into your headspace.
Speaker 2 (44:54):
Take care God, bless day. Honey Bee aka a bath.
Thank you, honey Bee aka BEV.
Speaker 1 (45:00):
Appreciate that advice, and I've gotten a lot of it lately,
and it's been good stuff, too, very good. I just
want to tell somebody that's listening and you think it
can never happen to me, male or female. If you're
listening and you think you've given up on marriage or
given up all hope as far as that's concerned, don't
give up hope.
Speaker 2 (45:23):
Don't do it.
Speaker 1 (45:25):
Don't do it because I wanted what I have, But
I'm gonna tell you the truth. I never thought that
I would get it. I tried to keep hope alive.
It had to be God, because I could not have
done this on my own. I could not have none
of it. No, when you check us out, go to
ten seventy w DIA. Miss Ula emailed me and she says, Stormy,
(45:47):

can I see them? Go to ten seventy w DIA.

Speaker 2 (46:13):
Yeah, well, well that picture is terrible. It really is.
But that's how we felt. We felt like what is.
Speaker 1 (46:23):
Happening today in our studios. It's how we felt, so
we posted about it. He said, it's not us that
Amazon outage got us on the app locally over six
hundred iHeart stations, and I did at ten seventy WD,

Speaker 2 (47:10):
I met somebody that knows you?
Speaker 4 (47:13):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. The lady at
the airport. Yeah yeah, what what.
Speaker 26 (47:23):
With that?
Speaker 2 (47:23):
Okay, I'm leaving alone.
Speaker 4 (47:27):
Jesus, she's a taurust. I'll just say that. I like her.
I like her.
Speaker 2 (47:33):
God knows I like her.
Speaker 4 (47:35):
She said you're a very nice person.
Speaker 8 (47:38):
I like her.
Speaker 2 (47:39):
I'm telling you the truth.
Speaker 20 (47:40):
I like her.
Speaker 2 (47:41):
Hey, some go down. I want home on my side. Okay,
I like her.
Speaker 4 (47:46):
I like a lot and so so Stormy tea is
off the market.
Speaker 1 (47:51):
Off the market. Yeah, you didn't believe me. You said
you ain't got no man. You said you were one
of the people that said that to me.
Speaker 4 (47:59):
Well, the Bible said, is a person a woman that
finds a good man?
Speaker 2 (48:04):
Is make it up? As your Jackson, I'm happy.
Speaker 4 (48:13):
I got my top five things that a new wife
should adhere to. Okay, okay, before I get to that,
right quick, justin Pearson, justin Pearson. For him to be
taken seriously, he needs to cut his hair first, and
then not cut his hair, you know, not look so radical.
(48:35):
And then, like the guy said, stop being an activist
and stop being a politician. That's that's for Justin Pearson.
He's not gonna win. Uh My Top five for all
women who just got married. Number five, don't don't overuse
the word love. Don't over use that word. Number four,
(49:01):
don't start nothing. Don't start nothing that you're not going
to keep up for the next ten years. Don't chart it, okay.
Number three start signing your name mrs number two.
Speaker 2 (49:19):
That's a good tip right there. That's a good one.
Speaker 4 (49:21):
Yeah, number all of my are good. Number two don't
try to keep up with anybody else's marriage, okay. And
the number one thing that new new wives should adhere
to missus Jackson. Five. Number one, hand the first year,
(49:46):
hand eighty percent of your check to your husband.
Speaker 2 (49:50):
All right, there you go. Time's up. Get on out
of here, Get on out of here, out of here Jackson. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (50:04):
Somebody messages I Hey, I try to take it all
because I know some of y'all don't like me.
Speaker 2 (50:11):
You listen because you can't stand me. You can't. You
hate it when I laugh? And this wama cop. She
hit me up on the app.
Speaker 1 (50:18):
And I don't know why she felt like she should
say this, but I hope it made her feel better.
Speaker 2 (50:22):
But I just want to tell you thank you for
for tapping the app, you know, and for listening.
Speaker 3 (50:27):
You know.
Speaker 1 (50:28):
Anyway, she she complained about my laughing and said I
do it too much, so I ain't gonna stop. I just,
you know, was just sharing that she she she don't
she't evidently she don't like me, but hey, you know what,
come on in, everybody, come on everybody. Ones that don't
(50:50):
like me, is like, come on in here, come on in.
We all in this together.
Speaker 13 (50:54):
W d I a hello, stormy stormy storm They don't
worry about that.
Speaker 30 (50:59):
Oh no, asked, and your.
Speaker 2 (51:01):
Boys is contagious.
Speaker 11 (51:04):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (51:04):
I think we love it. So do not stop a
lot and look at Thank you so much.
Speaker 13 (51:09):
Welcome back, girl, You're welcome.
Speaker 8 (51:11):
Welcome back, Welcome back, welcome back.
Speaker 11 (51:14):
So, with everything going on, your marriage brought something as
much he needed. It just was cool and refreshing and.
Speaker 2 (51:22):
New and it just made every I know, it made
me feel good.
Speaker 11 (51:25):
I don't know how I made everybody else feel. But
to see your beautiful wedding pictures. Your photographer he caught
the moments with your grandchildren playing, and everything was so organic.
Speaker 7 (51:38):
You know whatever the photographer was.
Speaker 2 (51:40):
Let me tell you who it was.
Speaker 1 (51:42):
It was.
Speaker 2 (51:42):
It was actually my.
Speaker 4 (51:47):
She was.
Speaker 1 (51:47):
She did the news here in Memphis, and I believe
she went by Bria Jones. I know that she was
on w R E g U Bria in with me
and and and so she told me about a title
for people, you know, women, that women were doing or
(52:08):
using nowadays, a bridal assistant. I'd never heard of it.
And she said, I want to come to your wedding
and I want to be your bridal assistant.
Speaker 2 (52:18):
Okay, okay, And so she she all those pictures that
y'all see me posting the majority of this she took.
Speaker 7 (52:27):
Did she get catch it?
Speaker 1 (52:28):
She was catching every moment. She was catching moments I
didn't even know she was catching.
Speaker 11 (52:34):
Man, she did a great jar.
Speaker 10 (52:36):
Is so organic?
Speaker 4 (52:37):
Did she smile?
Speaker 7 (52:39):
Smiled on your face and everything?
Speaker 2 (52:41):
Everything was so beautiful?
Speaker 11 (52:42):
But stortinly, what I want to ask you is, how did.
Speaker 13 (52:45):
You contain yourself from the proposal?
Speaker 2 (52:49):
Do you mean contain myself from telling people about it?
Speaker 13 (52:52):
No, when it happened, I would have thought you would have.
That would have been hard to contain.
Speaker 1 (53:00):
Oh, when it was from my family, I called my family,
my children. The first night when he proposed, and he
did it so cute. He played like he dropped something
and then he got on one knee and popped out
this ring and asked me would I'm marry him?
Speaker 10 (53:22):
And oh, well after that, on the weekend or the weekday.
Speaker 1 (53:27):
It was a weekday, and you came to work and
act like nothing happened. Yep, I was wearing my ring too,
Yeah like.
Speaker 4 (53:41):
I did. Yeah, Okay, when look.
Speaker 1 (53:45):
Because when was your when was your birthday? When was
your birthday party? When you came to see me that?
Speaker 13 (53:49):
You know what I was thinking about that, I'm like,
I wonder if she hold the meg that night?
Speaker 2 (53:54):
When when was that you was trying to hook me up?
Speaker 4 (53:56):
You know, I was thinking, you're getting hooked up. You're
trying to hook me up.
Speaker 17 (54:00):
So I was wonder was it were you engaged that night?
Speaker 2 (54:03):
What when was it? What month was that?
Speaker 27 (54:06):
March?
Speaker 17 (54:08):
The first part of Mark.
Speaker 2 (54:10):
I knew about it, but it didn't it hadn't happened yet.
Speaker 26 (54:13):
It hadn't happened.
Speaker 2 (54:13):
Okay, yeah, but I knew.
Speaker 13 (54:15):
Yeah I did it come to mind?
Speaker 10 (54:19):
So yeah, I want to wish.
Speaker 11 (54:20):
You many many more bliss for years come.
Speaker 7 (54:24):
Thanks and I am so happy for you and those tickets.
Speaker 21 (54:28):
Stay.
Speaker 8 (54:29):
Yeah, I didn't know.
Speaker 13 (54:30):
I didn't want to disturb you on your honeymoon anything,
but y'all didn't know how because.
Speaker 4 (54:35):
You were there come out after the winning.
Speaker 1 (54:37):
So yeah, going on, Yeah, thank you, Golden girl. I
appreciate you checking in with me. And yeah, that was
you that messaged me today. Sure was thank you and
I appreciate you calling.
Speaker 2 (54:47):

Speaker 1 (54:47):
For those of you that have have won, y'all already
won the tickets before because because I did give away
the tickets around the time that we made the initial announcement.
For those of you that won, you're you're gonna get
your tickets. You're gonna get them, and we may even
put your name at the door, but you you're gonna
get them. Just know that you will be in the house.
Speaker 2 (55:10):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (55:11):
If you haven't gotten your tickets already, you'll be hearing
from us very very very very soon.
Speaker 2 (55:17):
Okay, you got it, very good? W d I A Hello, Hey,
I'm doing good. What you got on in the background?
Turn it down? Turn it down?
Speaker 4 (55:30):
Yes you sound everything. Hey, at the bottom of my heart,
I really love that. And listen, what would would a
woman telling you about laughing that is good for the soul.
Speaker 2 (55:48):
I know, that's right.
Speaker 1 (55:48):
That's why I said, That's why I told you all
about it, and I didn't tell you about it really
put her out there like that. But just I don't
mind sharing, you know, when people say things or when
they tapped the app or whatever, and I don't mind
sharing this stuff.
Speaker 2 (56:03):
I think.
Speaker 1 (56:04):
I think transparency is good. And I think sometimes because
I feel like Bobby, you know, did that. If it
wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't do it. But he
was okay with you know, some of the things that
people said, and sometimes he shared them. And I don't
know if i'm you know, if I felt like, if
Bobby can do what I can too, you know what
I'm saying, I'm not. It makes me better. It makes
(56:24):
me strong enough to handle the criticism because people gonna
say so and it ain't nothing I can do about it.
Speaker 4 (56:31):
Well, you keep going to laugh because I laugh all attack.
Speaker 9 (56:34):
And the number one thing that I would give you
a father the marriage that that Cleasi asked Ford, I
wish you writing down that you could but four number
twelve and basically what he said is two stover to
one but you've.
Speaker 19 (56:47):
Met your God, and you have God at the third
as a three pot cord that's unbreakable.
Speaker 1 (56:54):
Thank you, sir. I appreciate that. Ecclesiastes for and what now?
Oh gone, mag Ma ain't gone? Man quit here?
Speaker 2 (57:04):
Uh w d I A hello?
Speaker 11 (57:06):
What her for me? Hey?
Speaker 2 (57:08):
Miss j L. How you doing.
Speaker 13 (57:11):
I'm all right, good good.
Speaker 2 (57:15):
I'm just so happy for you.
Speaker 13 (57:17):
It's just a lot of people say I don't laugh enough.
Speaker 31 (57:20):
Sometimes I can just look evil. I just think that's
just the way, that's just the way God set me up.
I laugh when I feel like laughing, not when people
think o folks. So I try not to let that
word because sometimes when I think about it, it seemed
like it might want.
Speaker 2 (57:41):
To make me cry.
Speaker 31 (57:42):
No, Yeah, because I am one very emotional person. That's
one thing I know about me.
Speaker 13 (57:49):
Yeah, And I was thinking about me and you talked
about I say, I like her.
Speaker 2 (57:55):
She's a very nice lady.
Speaker 7 (57:58):
She can she can make you last.
Speaker 31 (58:00):
Like mister Wesson had me laughing at him.
Speaker 7 (58:03):
I'm like, he can be something else with hisself.
Speaker 29 (58:09):
But he'd be having you cut up.
Speaker 1 (58:11):
I'm telling you talking about mister Henry Lee. Yeah, yeah,
he had me cutting up. I can't help it because
I think, first of all, that he's so sweet, and
I think that, uh, he actually likes it when I laugh.
I think it gives him a chuckle that I laugh.
And I'm not laughing because at him. I'm laughing with
him because I just because he just so, He just
(58:34):
he makes me laugh, and I just I really love
it when he calls I do.
Speaker 2 (58:38):
It's just me I do too.
Speaker 29 (58:41):
And about what we were talking about earlier, I'm just
feeling dead how long this has been going off, that
the city been getting this money. It still ain't nobody
doing their job to me, To me that it's really sad.
It's just almost like.
Speaker 13 (58:57):
Saying it like matter, We're gonna take this money and we're.
Speaker 2 (59:01):
Gonna do what I wanna do.
Speaker 7 (59:02):
We That's what it sounds like to me, because.
Speaker 31 (59:04):
They don't bring back no receipts, ain't said nothing we
gonna do.
Speaker 4 (59:10):
It?
Speaker 10 (59:11):
Me, is something really wrong with that pitch?
Speaker 14 (59:17):
It really is.
Speaker 31 (59:18):
They need to get somebody to come out and investigate,
and I can guarantee you they gonna find out what's
going on. That's the only way they're gonna find the
answer to.
Speaker 2 (59:28):
That month find it out. Find it out.
Speaker 17 (59:31):
You gotta find it out because they're not doing nothing.
Speaker 13 (59:35):
I see these pot holes out there, so I know they.
Speaker 17 (59:38):
Ain't done that, even lie they want it.
Speaker 10 (59:41):
I just tell them, I yeah, I'm telling you what
I saw.
Speaker 8 (59:44):
And I might be blind, but I.
Speaker 10 (59:45):
Ain't that blind.
Speaker 2 (59:47):
You can feel them potholes, l I went over one today.
Oh my goodness, Yeah, thank you, miss Jewel. I appreciate
you calling it all right. Yeah, you can feel them,
joall can I can too?
Speaker 4 (01:00:02):
Man?
Speaker 2 (01:00:03):
Sometimes I run over those potholes in the roads and
it just makes me so sad mad too.
Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
I have to we, I mean, we have to do
some work on the vehicles because of you know, the roads.
And I know I'm not the only one. I know
I'm not the only one. Let me go back to
this app real plick going rey.
Speaker 25 (01:00:23):
Key to a marriage, when you go in the house,
you check your ego and whatever else.
Speaker 2 (01:00:28):
Get the dope. You got to listen to each other. Hey,
that's the key. You listening to him, he listening at you.
Y'all come together and make a decis and move on.

Miss Mary Hey, miss Mary, she says congratulations. My dear
Stormy Tea. My heart is so overjoyed for the both
of you. I did not know that you were getting
married during the time that you were off work, but
I did know that the man that you spoke of
(01:04:32):
wasn't just someone you were dating. I'm not surprised at
all when my daughter told me, it put the biggest
smile on my face. I pray God's best for the
both of you as you spend your years ahead together.
Speaker 2 (01:04:47):
I love you, ah love you back.
Speaker 1 (01:04:50):
Mister Whitney, what's up? He said, just looked at your

We okay, let's see. Stephanie says, keep laughing. Don't you

If someone has a problem with you or the way
you laugh and something is terribly wrong with them.

Speaker 2 (01:05:31):
Thank you very much.
Speaker 1 (01:05:32):
Thank you big Khona, my friend. Tell your wife. I said, hello, okay,
let's go back to the app.
Speaker 33 (01:05:41):
Good afternoon, Stormy t empt what's up. Congratulations on your wedding.
Speaker 2 (01:05:45):
Thank you, Stormy Tea. It's not that they lady don't
like you.
Speaker 33 (01:05:50):
It's just I feel the same way sometimes when you laugh,
it just seems like you was a clingy person.
Speaker 4 (01:05:57):
That's all.
Speaker 2 (01:05:58):
It's nothing bad. That's the nicest thing MT said to
me all ever since I've been on this radio. I'm
gonna take that. Thank you, sir.
Speaker 1 (01:06:06):
He said, it's nothing bad. It's like I'm a clinging person.
Ah okay, okay, you know what. I'll take that, because
you know I am. I don't like breakups. Maybe I
don't know if anybody's like me, but I don't like
to break up if I and I mean, I don't
(01:06:30):
like my friendship's breaking up. I don't like to see
people break up, you know, especially people that I think
are good together. I don't like to see it. I
hate to hear people about people getting a divorce. I
hate those kinds of things. And I try my best,
and I haven't always been like this, but I have
tried my best to hold on to every person that
(01:06:53):
has come in my life that I have allowed to
enter my space. And when I feel like that's not working,
it hurts me. And I don't know if there are
other people out there that's like that. And I know
sometimes you know, people say you got to let people go,
you got to learn how to let people go, and
you can't be friends with everybody and all of that.
(01:07:14):
And it's not that I'm trying to be friends with everybody,
but I just.
Speaker 2 (01:07:17):
Feel like, you know that.
Speaker 1 (01:07:21):
There's some good in all of us, man and if
somebody held on to me when I didn't deserve it,
you know, And so I just I like to hold
on to people till I can't no more. And when I,
you know, meet somebody and I really like them, it
hurts me to let them go. It hurts me when
(01:07:43):
I have issues with family members. I don't know if
y'all are like this. When I have issues with my
fe it messes my whole day up because I love
my family. Man, I love them folks. They may not
know how much I love them, but I love them.
And I don't like breaking I don't like break ups.
I don't like to be, you know, I like to
(01:08:03):
I'm learning how to confront because there are a lot
of people that don't like confrontation. But you can't fix
anything you will not confront.
Speaker 2 (01:08:14):
You can't fix it.
Speaker 1 (01:08:14):
You say I'm an alcoholic all day long, But if
you never try to go get help, if you never
confront it, you say I'm a cheater all day long.
But if you never go get help, if you never
ask somebody to forgive you, if you never you know,
move forward. We're trying to not be those things that
you say to you are, man, you got to confront
some things, man, you.
Speaker 2 (01:08:34):
Want to fix it to confront it. And that's nothing
bad too, Thank you. Mt w D. I a hello, man,
I can't call it. How you feeling?
Speaker 10 (01:08:45):
That's all good in the hood.
Speaker 2 (01:08:47):
I know that's right. I don't know. That's congratulation.
Speaker 9 (01:08:51):
By the way, thank you.
Speaker 19 (01:08:52):
And if y'all are up and downtown, don't hesitate the
high let me give your first dog cut.
Speaker 2 (01:08:57):
Rat Okay, okay, thank you. I appreciate that.
Speaker 19 (01:09:03):
But uh, these politicians storm, you know, they're all switching over.
Speaker 14 (01:09:08):
Did they start here? They go there?
Speaker 19 (01:09:10):
We voted, man, but I mean Steve Corning is fine
with me.
Speaker 7 (01:09:14):
I don't see.
Speaker 19 (01:09:15):
I don't think I was, uh vote for just a Pearson,
you know, because I mean I don't see nothing he
really done. I agree with Clyde for that, you know
what I'm looking at the way they switched over, you know,
no disrespect. You know when we had Wharton, he was
a county man, moved over to the city and didn't
do nothing. I mean, for Harris's I'm done with him
(01:09:36):
here here in afferred with the school boy stuff.
Speaker 14 (01:09:39):
I'm pretty much pretty much done with him.

Speaker 19 (01:09:46):
Went from here to juvenile court, did nothing one of
the high It went from now to the county clerks.
I went there eleven thirty this morning to get my tags,
which over my tag. I got a new van, so
I was switching from no van to the new van.
I made it at eleven thirty. When I left, it
was one thirty.
Speaker 2 (01:10:03):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (01:10:04):
Right, yeah, ten people out there telling us where to go,
what to do.
Speaker 10 (01:10:09):
But then you get inside.
Speaker 7 (01:10:10):
You got four people behind a counting.
Speaker 19 (01:10:12):
I'll run to see four outdea telling them where to go,
and ten behind the counting.
Speaker 2 (01:10:17):
You know, I had to pay twelve.
Speaker 19 (01:10:18):
Dollars depart for two hours without them, so.
Speaker 14 (01:10:21):
I had to go put another twelve dollars in there.
Speaker 10 (01:10:24):
So I mean, it's just three hours to get some
to switch over some tags.
Speaker 2 (01:10:28):
You know, it's just ridiculous. So I think, you know,
we need to take.
Speaker 19 (01:10:32):
Our votes seriously and see what these people bringing to
the table.
Speaker 2 (01:10:36):
Bringing nothing. Just let them go.
Speaker 3 (01:10:38):
Mm.

Yeah, your vote is powerful. Thank you, al, I appreciate
you calling in.
Speaker 6 (01:10:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:10:44):

Speaker 1 (01:10:45):
To know these candidates, these people that are running for office,
and try to find out about them before they get there.
Speaker 2 (01:10:51):
You know what I'm saying, do your homework.
Speaker 1 (01:10:53):
See what these folks are doing, especially if you decide
you're going to vote for them, because the worst thing
is voting for somebody and then they get the position
and you wish you never voted for them.
Speaker 2 (01:11:06):
