Speaker 1 (00:04):
Okay, okay, okay, I'm sorry, lady. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
I'm sorry. Anyway, how's everybody doing on this October twenty first,
it is a Tuesday. I think it's a beautiful Tuesday,
by the way, overcast out there, but Tuesday's here. Okay,
back to the future day, that's what today is. It's
(00:25):
also Pumpkin Cheesecake Day, I Count your Buttons Day, babbling day.
There might be some of that today, but anyway, It's
also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And singer Shenise eight years
she didn't get a mammogram. Wow, eight years and she
(00:49):
found out that she has some breast issues. Breast cancer. Yeah, man,
So she's telling every woman in the world get yourself
checked out. I'm just reminding you because it is Breast
Cancer Awareness Month, and it's also domestic violence Domestic Violence
Awareness Month, and it's probably some other things too this month,
(01:14):
but breast cancer Awareness is so close to home to
a lot of us here at Ihearts. So as a
matter of fact, this Sunday, I'm checking in with Teresa
Hall on the Pulse because we're gonna be talking about
that and women. Just reminding you to get yourself checked out. Yeah,
don't get those mammograms, you know, take care of yourself. Yeah.
(01:36):
Sometimes we take care of everybody, but we forget to
take care of ourselves. So take care of you. If
you need to go to the dot to do it.
It's not putting it off. Stop saying do it tomorrow.
I'll do it tomorrow, I'll do because all it does
is whatever is or could be going on with you,
could be getting not so good. Let me just say
(01:58):
it like that, So go get checked out. You can,
if you got the resources to do that, or if
you can go to a clinic or whatever it is
and get yourself checked out, please do all right, all right,
it's Tuesday. I think I said that already. But welcome in.
Welcome in. Don't tell y'all few things, and we'll talk
about a few things too. And I don't understand. Maybe
(02:19):
it's me, but I really don't understand why the world
is so invested in what happened at Bishop Marvin Wining's church.
Why is the world so invested in this?
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Hey, ROBERTA.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
McCoy, given faith and stand in unity with the vision
of perfecting church or sowing this seed of one thousand
dollars plus two hundred and thirty five dollars and receiving
the blessings to come to all that participating.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Now, that's only twelve hundred dollars. Yes, y'all not listening
to what I'm saying. If you have a thousand plus
one thousand, Okay, I'm gonna work on the other hundred.
That ain't what I asked you to do. He got
the world mad. Honey? Did you know he's on TMZ? Now?
(03:08):
Because everybody's a clip, let me say this about a
clip nobody knows, And this is what bothers me sometimes
about social media. You can put a clip out there,
take it completely out of context, and make the whole
world mad, make them all mad. So who sent this
(03:35):
clip to them? Folks? First off, whoever you are, shame
on you. I saw where somebody went back and they
showed the actual context of what happened and what he
asked for and all of that. And I might pull
(03:56):
that up and let you hear that. But why are
so many people mad at this man? Right now? I
don't understand. You don't go to his church, you might
even go to church at all, but why are you
mad at him? And why how is it so serious
that it's made TMZ is what I'm asking. I don't
get it. I don't get it, you know, just like
(04:16):
there are you know, and I don't know anything about
what happened at that church. And I'm definitely not gonna
speak against that man. But I tell you what, if
you look at the world today and just look at
any profession, look at your job, the job you work on,
you got some people in there that don't need to
be there, don't you. So you got some people at
(04:38):
your job right now, you've been looking at them all day,
You're like, m don't do nothing, and you busting your butt,
you know what I'm saying. And some of them get
accolades from the boss and things like that. And you
in that job you're working, you're doing were working hard,
you know what I'm saying. But there are some people
that you know, ain't doing jack and they're still making
(04:58):
the same kind of money you man, some of them
making more money than you are. And I said that
to say this, and I'm not talking about Bishop Marvin Winings.
I'm sure he's one of the good ones, but there
are there's bad in everything you do. Don't throw the
baby out with the bathwater, the whole the baby. Don't
(05:18):
throw that baby out with the bath water. I'm not
with it. But I can say I saw somebody on
social media and they said, sometimes in church, you need
to get them cameras up out of there because people
watching what y'all got going on in these church services
to be nosy. They don't care nothing about watching that
church service. They ain't trying to save change their life.
(05:40):
They not trying. They trying to see what's going on
so they can talk about you. That's all they want
to talk. Just want to talk about you. You haven't
met somebody that The only reason they in your life
is because they want to see what's going on in
your life so they can talk about you. You know,
(06:00):
you know somebody you know, you know somebody you do.
And so I say, this is me, And if you
want to say something, you can, But I'm changing back
up off that man. Let him leave him alone. We
don't know what happened up in there. Watch the whole service.
I'm not even even watched the whole service. I'm just
(06:22):
tell you that because I don't go to church there
not really you know what I'm saying bless him, bless them.
Evidently they must have a good kind of relationship for
him to be able to banter with her like that.
And we don't even know if he was, you know, serious,
or if they were because it's just a clip. We
don't know what happened before it, and we don't know
what happened after it, you know what I'm saying. So yeah,
(06:46):
mm hm, clickbait. Click bait is what they call it.
They just want you to get in it and be
nosy like the rest of the world. And yeah, just yeah,
get off in that. Who's going to the Grizzlies Opening Night?
Because tomorrow night is opening night? I hear them. Tickets
(07:06):
are really inexpensive too, by the way, So y'all going?
Are y'all into the Grizzlies this year? You ready for
a new season? I say, If you're not into it,
this is just me, I think, you know, as a Memphian,
I'm gonna go to more games this year than I
ever have. And the reason I want to do that
is to support them. Ye'all know how we are. A
(07:29):
lot of us went to see Gladys Knight because we
wanted to support her, didn't we A lot of us
go to plays and shows and things like that because
we know somebody in it and we want to support them, right,
So that's what I want to do for the Memphis Grizzlies.
I want to go support them because they're here in
Memphis and we got a professional team that brings all
(07:52):
these other professional teams in here, and why not enjoy
it and check this. The tickets aren't crazy offensive. They're
really an expense. I think I saw a ticket for
like five bucks might be some, and then the sum
for twenty two dollars to see the Grizzlies. Yeah, you
might be a little high up there, but you're watching
(08:13):
the game. And really, is any seat a bad seat
in the FedEx Form? I mean, come on, is any
seat a bad seat?
Speaker 4 (08:22):
Is it? No?
Speaker 1 (08:23):
I don't think so. Elon Musk is having a job.
Fare think he had it today? Was held at the
Crosstown Concourse. Uh huh No, it's tonight as a matter
of fact. So y'all go get your jobs. Tell you
young people about it so they can go get a job.
I saw somebody on social media say I would apply
(08:45):
if I didn't have concerns about health implications. Come on, now,
come on, now, come on, now, do you really think
that is well, go get your job. Let me just
say that, Just go get your job. You gonna be
(09:06):
all right. Go get your job. A couple things I
wanted to ask you guys about today. I know the
Guard they're here, and I saw merely have some of
the press confidence that he had yesterday. And he said,
nobody wants to wake up and see an armored vehicle
in their neighborhood. That's what he said. And then I've
thought about it. If that armored vehicle, if I'm in
(09:29):
a community, bad community, or a community that you know
may have issues in every community has issues. I don't
care what you say. I don't care how rich them
folks are or how well to do them folks are.
Everybody got some going on in their community that they
don't want. And for a lot of people, they like man.
If them armored vehicles got to sit over here to
(09:49):
make my neighborhood safe, I'm with it. But he said,
we need resources, but we don't need the National Guard.
And I know a lot of people are probably still
saying that too. I just won't catch you up on that.
See how you feel about that. But y'all see the
woman who hit the miner yep, yep, an adult and
(10:11):
an adult with her SUV. She's out on bond. Now,
what's going on? Cause is that who did that? Did
the task for? That leads me with a lot of questions,
and it leaves a lot of folks with a lot
(10:32):
of questions because they're like, what what what? What? What
in the world? And I know, y'all saw where in Lakeland, Tennessee.
Those four teenagers were arrested after they've broken to nine
cars and stole, you know, some guns. They stole a gun.
I don't know if they caught all of them. The
suspects were all juveniles and they were arrested. They were arrested, yeah,
(10:54):
and charged. They got a lot of counts and things
like that. But with the the problem that we've had
in our country with teenagers, because somebody, this is just
my opinion, and I could be wrong, but somebody I
believe is hiring these kids to go out in them
streets and do their dirty work. Why because they know
(11:15):
that these kids are going to get out of jail
and that they can get out quicker than they could
if it were them. Okay, Now, President Trump said something
while back, and I was going to mention it to
you guys, and I didn't and I won't to see
what y'all think about this. He's advocating for changing policies
(11:40):
in Washington, DC and maybe other places in America to
allow children as young as nine or no fourteen, as
young as fourteen to be tried and sentenced as adults
for certain violent crimes. Not all of them, but for
certain violent crimes. Yeah, this was a key part of
(12:02):
his August September push for stricter federal oversight of the
city's justice system. So should they get especially if it's
a violent crime, do y'all think they should be charged
as an adult? If you see a kid out on
the street and they got an AK four to system,
(12:22):
what is that ar well, you know the big rifles
like that dude that went into the airport in Atlanta had.
Would that be I think that may be considered. You
know what he was talking about. Should they be charged
with a harsher crime if they get arrested? What do
(12:45):
you think? I think it's interesting and I think that
a lot of these young people are repeat offenders and
then they don't get punished like they like you would.
I know some people are saying some of these adults
ain't getting punished after they heard about the lady being
(13:05):
out on jets. People are not happy about that. The
woman who's out on bond right about now after she
hit a minor and an adult with her SUV. Some
people ain't happy about that. But these kids, man, we
gotta do something. How do you encourage them?
Speaker 4 (13:24):
How do you?
Speaker 1 (13:28):
How do you? That's a good question because talking to
these kids is definitely something you want to encourage them
with having conversations with them, and we've talked about that before.
But will they stop if they know that the sentence
is going to be harsher on them or y'all think
(13:48):
they lost? I don't think they are. M I don't
think they are. I was looking at pastor Reginald Voice,
who also works for the City of Memphis, and he
posted something on social media about he, you know, took
his daughter on a date and she was so happy
and he was not. But then when he met the
young man, and the young man opened the door for
(14:10):
his daughter and he spoke to him. He came and
spoke to him, and he opened the door for his
daughter and and just you know, turned out to be
just a ray of suns. There are kids out there
like that, a whole lot of them, and a whole
lot more of them like that, I believe than the
(14:30):
ones that are breaking into these cars and carrying on
a whole lot more of them, yeah, man. And so
he was talking about how he, you know, just wanted
to just really be a blessing to that man because
of how he treated him. That's why it's good to
be nice to people. Just be nice to people. I
(14:51):
posted something like that on my social media, just being nice.
It don't cost you a thing to be nice to people.
You never know, never know, those little seeds of kindness
that you planted where they're gonna grow up, you know
what I'm saying, where they're gonna bring up somebody might be.
I was talking to somebody and they said their sister
(15:13):
was having a conversation with somebody and telling them how
her she was trying to get a business and the
business alone fell through, and she was just nice to
somebody in the restaurant. Didn't know the man was a millionaire,
and he gave them a loan. It pays to be
(15:35):
nice to folks. And I'm gonna tell you reciprocity. What
goes around, it's gonna come back around. M okay, let's
go to these phone and see what y'all talking about.
Wd I A Hello, Hello, Hey, how are you? Hello?
(15:57):
Hey there? How you doing? Can you hear me? Hello? Caller?
Are you there?
Speaker 5 (16:11):
M that?
Speaker 1 (16:13):
Wd I A hello, Hello, Hey there, Hie Stormy, Hi there. Okay,
you can hear me. So that's good. I thought it
was me.
Speaker 6 (16:25):
So this is Andrea.
Speaker 1 (16:27):
Hey, Andrea.
Speaker 6 (16:28):
I wanted to be very quick, but I just want
I don't call all the time, but I just want
to say this to you. Congratulations to your new marriage.
You're blessed and you you. I'm divorced, been divorced a
long time, but you give us hope.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
You make me feel good, yes, ma'am.
Speaker 4 (16:50):
So.
Speaker 6 (16:51):
The other thing I wanted to say is I'm silly
and I love to laugh. Keep laughing. The people who
say you laugh too much, they they they never laugh
and they're miserable. Sometimes like to be silly. Never stop laughing.
When you start laughing, I giggle. I'm driving, I'm riding
in my car. And when you start laughing about something,
(17:14):
I giggle too. Uh giggling keep laughing, keep having fun.
And it's a there's a scripture about a merry heart.
Speaker 1 (17:23):
We'll do it good like a medicine.
Speaker 6 (17:26):
Yes, ma'am, have a wonderful day.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
Thank you, Andrea. I appreciate you. Appreciate you calling in
today and say the things that you said. You're so kind.
Speaker 6 (17:36):
I listen a lot. I don't always call, but I
listen as much as I can.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
Oh, thank you. I'm glad you did. I'm glad you.
Speaker 6 (17:43):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
All right, thank you and call again. Okay, I will okay,
bye bye. All right, let's get into it. W D
I A hello.
Speaker 7 (17:53):
I am the most erudite mind, brilliant thinker and political
pullouts with her.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
Okay, what's up? Black conservative?
Speaker 5 (18:04):
Uh?
Speaker 7 (18:05):
President Trump said, Johnny, come lately, because we already have
laws where we can prosecute juveniles as an adult. Many
states have already did it. It's been done hundreds of times.
It should be done in Florida and other states like that.
It's always there, they just need to enforce it. So
(18:26):
he's going to come lately on that. And you know,
I'm pro Trump, but ah, you say.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
Your man ain't perfect.
Speaker 7 (18:34):
Okay, yeah, he I need to send him a memo
and let him know, as the president, we already have
that law on the books. They just need to enforce it,
just like they need to enforce the curfew here in Memphis,
they had a curfew May young. They won't enforce it.
You know, he wants the kids to the young kids
(18:56):
to be shooting basketball at twelve o'clock at midnight and night.
Uh he told you that why they why they shooting
shooting that night? And they don't need to be shooting
basketball at night, they need to be at home.
Speaker 1 (19:11):
He told you that. He won't answer.
Speaker 8 (19:16):
Yeah, that's debate.
Speaker 9 (19:19):
Yeah, look, let me tell you something I have.
Speaker 8 (19:22):
I call it this show to be informed.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
I said, did he tell you that?
Speaker 10 (19:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (19:27):
He said debate, Yeah, he said that, any debate that
he wanted to have basketball goal, midnight basketball so their
kids can do things.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
And you know, ball is great if you have supervision
there and if you have uh you know, I think
that's great. I don't think anything is wrong with midnight basketball.
If if it's keeping these kids off the street and
out of trouble, what's the problem.
Speaker 7 (19:52):
Well, they move on to my next point. We're not
going to be a dead hard Uh So I met,
I met, I saw the national I saw the National
Guard tonight, and our national Guards, I thank them for
their service. I directly went up to them and thank
them for them for their service today. And you know, uh,
(20:13):
it's unfortunately you know they don't have. If they're listening,
you don't have to walk around this city of Messis
with your head down and dishonor all your head up
in honor. Really appreciate everything you do. All these folks
who don't want you here, they don't want armorers pull
them up in they in their neighborhood. I ain't worry
(20:34):
about them. We appreciate you. But let me tell you
what I really really would would rather see. I would
rather see armored a tank pull in my neighborhood than
a five year old child to get shot in a
car by a drive by shooting or get shot in
the house. You know, these people talking about the missus
(20:58):
test for do you not know just this month you
had a five year old Danyelle and Alia Robinson. Hey,
hey yell, they will both kill That was in Louisiana, Oh.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
In Louisiana. All right, Black Conservative, thank you for calling
in Okay, w D I a hello.
Speaker 11 (21:23):
Hey, the beautiful storming.
Speaker 1 (21:24):
Hey, well yeah, what's going on?
Speaker 5 (21:27):
All right?
Speaker 2 (21:28):
I'm glad that I'm right behind the aerdite mind because
Louisiana is worse than Memphis. That's really where the guards
should be. And everybody knows by numbers, and I'm going
to prove the point.
Speaker 8 (21:40):
The other thing is to.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
Now that I've been retired for a little while, I
understand how watching TV gets to a point where it's
just too boring. You want to get up and do something.
So when you have teenagers that is sitting around, he's
talking about this.
Speaker 12 (21:56):
To be at home at home doing what watching TV?
Speaker 9 (22:00):
He's gonna say reading.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
A book and that's that. But let's be realistic. They
have energy, they need something to do, and so when
he talked about basketball, that's something for them to do.
That's why they're standing around on the corner saying what
what y'all want to do.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
It's good trouble, is what I think it is. It's
not trouble. But you know how John a senator John,
he was talking about good trouble.
Speaker 5 (22:26):
Yes, I think I do remember that.
Speaker 11 (22:27):
Uh huh.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
The thing is and spend the money for there to
be a guard there or whatever it is, because we're
gonna spend money on something golf course or something, right,
So now we're talking about the safety of the people
of mythis where we're gonna spend the money on the
golf course or we're gonna spend it for them to
play basketball.
Speaker 5 (22:47):
But that is what I wanted to say.
Speaker 4 (22:48):
Though.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
The thing is something is happening in in the doc
because many many businesses are starting to put up this
is around you know, around their establishment and the churches
and schools, and just all of a sudden, it's as
if they got a memo and then we've got a
(23:12):
dry run of this national way.
Speaker 1 (23:15):
Or is it because they've been getting robbed, because a
lot of churches have been getting robbed too, and business.
Speaker 5 (23:22):
Okay, well there you go.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
It's if they know that, hey, this is what's happening.
This is going to affect us, you know, if they
shut down the churches over here and they're going to
come over here. So the point that I'm making is
is that when we're talking about fourteen year olds being
tried as adults, this is what they're really called about
fourteen year olds being tried as an adult. First of all,
(23:47):
you're taking away food from their households, so there is
no food in the house. They in the house like
they're supposed to be, but there's no food there. So
they go outside and.
Speaker 5 (23:56):
Just hang out. But hungry.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
That's what stuff get started. And they're taking away the
food to snap. Then they take away the healthcare their mom.
Speaker 1 (24:06):
Will you and I but William, now you and I've
been hungry a time or two. I know I have,
but I didn't go. I didn't go rob nobody.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
Yeah, but we knew, you know, the families we had,
we knew that we got food somewhere. We're not going
to go a whole day without no, no.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
Not always. A lot of people don't know that. You
don't and you don't know. You don't know how long
I work without food? And some other people that are listening,
you know, we but everybody don't make those decisions just
because they hungry.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
Well, how many people we need to do?
Speaker 1 (24:34):
Some people get up and go get a job. They
don't get into.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
Trouble for the whole neighborhood to lock their doors at night.
How many things we need in the neighborhood. One And
so I'm saying that when we create the one guy
that says, my mom is sick, we have no money
to get some talent. All I'm going out here and
do something.
Speaker 12 (24:56):
So what I'm saying is.
Speaker 2 (24:57):
The thing that the laws that are happening is creating this,
It's perpetuating it. You pick up a guy to corost
his tags out, now he has to pay that extra money.
Now the light he don't have the bill for the light.
Speaker 8 (25:10):
Deal money.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Now we're talking about a perpetual oppression.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
I got you, William, and I hate to cut you off,
but I got to. I got to get to this break.
I'm actually a little bit late, but I'm coming back
to catch you. Okay, Meredith, I see you calling, honey,
and Lady P looks like Lady D is on hold too,
y'all hold on, we'll be back in a moment. Basically,
you know they don't get out and sing in front
of everybody, Well, you might want to tell him to
(25:36):
go and audition for the voice auditions for Deadline. Rather
for the auditions is October thirtieth. Thing, you got to
be thirteen or older to sign up. So if you
got thirteen year old that wants to sing or is
talented and wants to go on the voice. Hey, there
you go, there's your opportunity. Okay, now I heard a
(25:57):
recording that I've never heard before. I don't think I've
ever heard this, and maybe you haven't heard it either,
but that dog on. I don't know who posted this.
I think Essence Black Culture is one of the sites,
and probably a lot of other folks maybe have posted
this since it came out. But y'all, there's an FBI
recording that is revealed that Malcolm X he was asked
(26:22):
to become an informant and he said, uh uh, I'm
not gonna be able to do it. And it made
me think how much integrity do a lot of us
have that we would What could could you see yourself
being like Malcolm X. You got a good friend and
they come to you and they say, we need you
(26:43):
to snitch on your good friend. What you do it
or what you tell the FBI? What Malcolm X told them?
Malcolm X said, you can take that somewhere else. I'm
not doing it all. I'm not snitching on black people.
I'm not gonna be able to do it. Say what
he couldn't do it? What integrity do you have? Man?
(27:04):
Because he wouldn't do it. Mm hmm. Let's go to
these phones and see what you're talking about on today.
Speaker 13 (27:11):
W D I A Hello, I bet they'll do it
now they hey, Storm, they would yeah, they yeah, they will.
Speaker 11 (27:20):
I promise you they will.
Speaker 13 (27:21):
But Storm, I don't want to tell you congratulation girl,
you hear me. I'm so happy for you, I said, Oh, Storm,
be me. I'm so glad you, you know, and it
comes gratulations, I mean from the bottom of my heart,
because no, my thing is this right here.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
You know, when you're.
Speaker 11 (27:41):
Ready to do something right and you were.
Speaker 13 (27:44):
Ready, you know, and you and I know this.
Speaker 1 (27:45):
Is the second one, right, No, first one.
Speaker 13 (27:48):
This is the first one.
Speaker 14 (27:49):
Well, why did like you say?
Speaker 13 (27:50):
She said, let's put it out there and she said, well,
me making other people want us? What did she say?
Speaker 9 (27:55):
She said, you make other people?
Speaker 1 (27:57):
Said she was married, but she's divorced, and she said,
I give her hope.
Speaker 13 (28:02):
Okay, Well then I hope you get bailed home too.
Speaker 9 (28:05):
I want bed I want yeah.
Speaker 13 (28:11):
Man, I just want you know what I'm saying. I
just want everybody to be happy, you know. And I
just feel like, you know, I don't care how old
you are, you know, I don't I don't care about
the age, but you know, so I just don't. And
let me say this right here, you know, let.
Speaker 9 (28:23):
Me get a shout out to those people down there.
Speaker 13 (28:25):
And down you know, that's the only place I go
to downtown looking like, guess what. I don't really like
gona pay the bills down but I have to.
Speaker 11 (28:31):
But I like their service.
Speaker 9 (28:33):
You know that girl over there, the girl over there,
desk number once you.
Speaker 11 (28:36):
Know who I'm talking about.
Speaker 13 (28:37):
And then in security, God, they don't play down now,
y'all hear me. They don't play in this whole staff.
Just great, just a great step. Let me say, let
me get a shout something. Let me ask you this,
right Quise, It's okay if I get a shot.
Speaker 9 (28:46):
They do advertise what you care?
Speaker 1 (28:48):
But now you leave a shout outs because I've been
hearing you do the same shout out on this radio forever.
You getting paid for that, lady?
Speaker 13 (28:53):
P No, I'm saying, I don't get for nothing, get paid.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
I beave let them do. They let them do their
own thing. You don't, you know, I mean, I work
here and I could do shoutouts all day long, but
you don't hear me doing it, do you? But you
be doing.
Speaker 13 (29:09):
But I'm asking you no, I'm asking you this more
reason because if they advertised what y'all I think it's.
Speaker 9 (29:13):
I'm asking all right, it ain't, it's not.
Speaker 13 (29:16):
But anyway, I just want to I'm not gonna say
who whatever. I won't say Happy to be lady.
Speaker 9 (29:21):
Birthday Agains and my sisters celebrated this weekend.
Speaker 13 (29:23):
Everybody know where we was like I do with that?
I don't know. I don't taking sarapyr. They advertised they
spend me money.
Speaker 14 (29:31):
With you guys.
Speaker 13 (29:32):
I don't think nothing wrong with me.
Speaker 5 (29:33):
Saying the name.
Speaker 13 (29:33):
But anyway, what's off?
Speaker 15 (29:34):
Coach?
Speaker 13 (29:35):
But anyone, let me say this right here, let me
say this right what I called for now, y'all know
this shut down?
Speaker 9 (29:39):
I want try to bring your coach to the radio
listens for real right here. Y'all better get ready.
Speaker 13 (29:44):
Because we don't know what's gonna happen. But if you
got a grocery store or your store, you better be
glad to soldiers here.
Speaker 11 (29:51):
I call them soldiers because.
Speaker 13 (29:52):
You're gonna be so happy they here.
Speaker 9 (29:54):
So when they get ready to break up in your
house and rob and theater, that's what they getting ready
to do.
Speaker 13 (29:58):
When these people don't be able to these fool staff
next month, Storm, it's gonna be a problem, and it's
gonna be a problem all over the world. But I'm
talking about right here in Mississitisee. I'm so glad these
soldiers here, and y'all better thank God to hear, because
I promise you when they when they just shut down,
they don't hurry up. And these folks don't get these
fools sound they coming to your house, your mama house,
and everybody.
Speaker 9 (30:18):
Else house, Storm, and I want you to be careful on homes.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
Thank you, lady p He appreciate you calling in, appreciate
you making that call. W D I A hello, old lady.
Speaker 13 (30:29):
See girl he strowing her? Are you today?
Speaker 1 (30:32):
I'm good, mar How you doing.
Speaker 16 (30:35):
I'm I'm happy for her and you did give her hope.
You gave her hope when you get married, I hope
I get an invitation to the wedd I'm gonna give
her the best gift you've ever had.
Speaker 14 (30:47):
Can't great.
Speaker 9 (30:48):
I'm listen, I'm gonna happy for you too.
Speaker 13 (30:50):
I mean I really really am.
Speaker 16 (30:51):
And but you know what, I'm gonna call your husband John, Okay,
I'm gonna say, Johnson brost of Ladys, you didn't get
you are doing because Storm I want.
Speaker 13 (31:00):
You to share his name. You ain't gonna share his
Name's no.
Speaker 16 (31:02):
Nigga, but I own. But I'm wanna think of this man.
Turn my call up there, okay, because I'm happy for you. Now,
listen to about the uh the DOWND call them before
the young the guy who says that or I think
maybe you say that that they're hiring young kids to
do crimes because they're telling them, hey, you're not gonna
get that much time.
Speaker 13 (31:19):
But what they're not telling them is, I'm telling you
twenty one, you can't get a job because you've got
a criminal raper and it's messing up their life. Though
I cannot agree with the stronger sentizen, I don't care
who it came from. People saying, well, that's because it
came from Trump.
Speaker 16 (31:32):
This might be a good one. This might be a
way to save our children. Now I'm not saying necessarily
saying charge them as a as an adult, but it
should be you're gonna risk for five years, or you're
going to wait until you hit twenty one.
Speaker 13 (31:45):
So maybe, but so it has to be that when
they're in there.
Speaker 16 (31:48):
It's a program.
Speaker 13 (31:49):
It's rehubilitation.
Speaker 16 (31:50):
It's not just letting them in with wrong hardcore criminal.
They getting raped every day.
Speaker 5 (31:54):
Abuse.
Speaker 16 (31:55):
I mean, it can't be bad because if soul well,
are you gonna let out, You're gonna let out a
tougher CRI then you had when you went in there.
So it could be a good idea. It depends on
you know, how it's done.
Speaker 1 (32:05):
You know, I'm with you on that. You know, if
you're gonna put them in there, give them something to do,
give them a program, something they don't want to do,
make them do it. Read some books, yeah, making girls
go long, read your book and loner training there.
Speaker 16 (32:18):
If you're gonna take teenagers and do that, you know,
then I'm gonna say trumthing. You're doing that for good
or people not just doing it to be you know,
low down towards.
Speaker 13 (32:25):
You know, our black youth.
Speaker 16 (32:26):
But before Lady came on, you were talking about something
that's I wanted to hate. I want one of the
something that you talked about. Do you can't remember what
you do?
Speaker 1 (32:32):
I talked about the voice coming, but I also mentioned
Malcolm X, and I said, could you be as loyal
as him because the FBI wanted him to snitch and
he wouldn't do it.
Speaker 16 (32:42):
I know I wasn't that, but no, I would not
be a snitch. I mean, it's just no point of
it for what put my life in danger. No one's
gonna protect you, but so anywhere, I'm gonna let you
go about things of it.
Speaker 12 (32:51):
I'll call you back to Marb.
Speaker 13 (32:52):
But again, congratulations to you.
Speaker 5 (32:54):
I'm having for you.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
Thank you, Mari. I appreciate you all right, Bye, bye, man.
I hate she couldn't remember, but it was dang. I
hate she couldn't remember. Somebody tapped in on this apple.
Let's go there. I'm gonna come back to the phone
second in a second.
Speaker 17 (33:06):
Hello, min Sammy T. I'll like to say hello and congratulation.
Speaker 1 (33:09):
Thank you.
Speaker 5 (33:11):
I'd like to try a shout out to.
Speaker 17 (33:12):
My daughter who having a birthday on today over in Dallas, Saxon.
Her name is Jaitanji and nurse Beverly, Lady T, Lady
d Merit, Mister Henry, little Daddy Jackson.
Speaker 5 (33:23):
Y'all very good. I listened to y'all every day and
I love this show. Y'all be on Stormy Ta number one.
Speaker 1 (33:31):
Bye bye, thank you, sir, appreciate you tapping in on
that apple. And see got an email here from mister Glenn.
He says ADHD month. That's this month because I was
talking about Breast Cancer Awareness Month, That's what this month is.
It's also Domestic Violence Awareness Month. And he said it's
attention deficit hybrid activity activity disorder. It's recognized during the
(33:56):
month of October as well. Here's a lot going on
in this month. William's email, She said people are invested
in Bishop Winan's debacle because that is not correct behavior
in church. You take what you get. I would have
snatched my check back times are hard for everyone. I
bet Mama Whinings would not have like that. Miss williams uh.
(34:21):
Let's see black churches African Consultants says, are these black
churches investing in the Black community. Many of them do.
Do they bank with black owned banks. Bank of America
was started by Catholic church. Black churches bank with some
banks that are gentrified in our communities. So we support
the foolishness. We are not thinking as black people. We
(34:43):
are just acting. It's pathetic to you because you don't believe.
Won't you come, Malcolm, won't you come that, Come on
in here, come go to church with me. I don't
ask you to do that. Come on now, w d
I A Hello.
Speaker 5 (35:02):
Hey, w d I A. I probably got you on
the line.
Speaker 1 (35:05):
Hey, who is this? This is Stormy?
Speaker 5 (35:08):
Hey, this is Michael.
Speaker 8 (35:10):
Really? You know, are always listening?
Speaker 1 (35:12):
Are you a first time caller?
Speaker 5 (35:14):
I am?
Speaker 1 (35:15):
Come on in here, Come on Michael, Michael. Wait a minute,
where are my music at? Where am I collapsed at that?
We go? Come on in Michael got to Michael.
Speaker 8 (35:25):
Hey, god, hi, everyone listen.
Speaker 14 (35:27):
Always wanted to just you know, say uh.
Speaker 9 (35:32):
That I'm thinking some of our situations is.
Speaker 4 (35:35):
That we've gotten away from just the foundation you know,
the gospel will say, you know, you trade them up
in the right way.
Speaker 8 (35:43):
Even when they stay they you know.
Speaker 5 (35:46):
They'll they'll come back to it.
Speaker 4 (35:47):
I'm not gonna be quoting that because you know, I'm
not all the way that familiar with it.
Speaker 5 (35:51):
But but at the end of the day, you're no right.
Speaker 8 (35:54):
From wrong, you know, good from bad.
Speaker 4 (35:56):
So we play so many games with ourselves, you know,
Democrats Republicans have about just good Americans? How about just
good people? You know, honest you know, uh.
Speaker 8 (36:08):
You know, the straightforward people pay, you.
Speaker 5 (36:11):
Know of law bodies, you know.
Speaker 4 (36:13):
But but again, like you said, uh, could you have
that sort of integrity where you wouldn't you.
Speaker 5 (36:21):
Know, uh s with with the FBI.
Speaker 4 (36:26):
No, most of them wouldn't, because you know, everybody's looking
for something for nothing, you know. And I'm thinking, that's
just a lesson we forgot. It's it's not very often
the case where you're gonna get something for nothing.
Speaker 5 (36:38):
It's always a price to it.
Speaker 4 (36:40):
You know, you learn to kind of control just your
physical functions when you're a kid, you know, learn how
to party and so forth. The next lesson is money
don't grow on trees, and so you know, you know,
some of those basic things we just we just get
away from.
Speaker 5 (36:59):
You know.
Speaker 4 (36:59):
And just the assimilation part to the other side. You know,
I can't even explain it. It would take too long.
But that's another problem.
Speaker 8 (37:09):
You know, we we're gonna put one hundred on ten.
Speaker 4 (37:12):
You know, give him a brand new Mercedes. He still
would by a reason to put something on it. So
when you assimulate to that other side, you put a
hundred on that. And my first you know, introductions were
look at that explensitive Caucasian individual. So you know, the
more we go to that, you know, we're putting one
(37:36):
hundred on that. So we know we're that nowadays, we're
not the black and proud and you know, or I
carry my family's name wherever I go.
Speaker 5 (37:48):
You know, type of people anymore.
Speaker 4 (37:51):
And and all of it starts with the lack of discipline.
Speaker 5 (37:55):
You know, we had a question that in.
Speaker 4 (37:57):
The seventies ship we spoil our kids. And the end
result is that you know we have But if you
had anything other than a child in your house that
was spoiled, you would toss it out. That same rules
should almost apply to that. You know, why would I
spoil it. I prepare it for the life. That would
still be unfair to those who have that complexion.
Speaker 5 (38:21):
So uh, you know, I.
Speaker 4 (38:24):
Can fool you and tell you that it's fair, it's not.
Even when you retch Obama's status, still have the rules
he had to follow to make sure that he.
Speaker 5 (38:36):
Didn't rock that boat.
Speaker 4 (38:37):
So so we we should all continue to teach that
to ourselves. Therefore, you know, we continue to always produce
a better product. You know, if I'm producing the same
product they got, I'm gonna be entitled, I'm gonna be spoiled.
Speaker 9 (38:55):
I'm gonna feel like, you know, somebody's gonna leave me
something that's.
Speaker 5 (38:58):
Not only it's the case guy, mom.
Speaker 4 (39:00):
Man, let's let's get back to preparation, prepared, understanding, knowing
what this society.
Speaker 5 (39:06):
Really offers to us.
Speaker 8 (39:08):
Yeah, and we all do.
Speaker 5 (39:09):
Much about it.
Speaker 4 (39:09):
Hey, peace, love, and I hope I can get in again.
Speaker 1 (39:13):
I hope you can too. I hope you can too.
Thank you for joining us. We got a new family member, y'all.
His name is Michael. Say hello to Michael. Thank you, Michael.
Speaker 8 (39:22):
I'm gonna yeah.
Speaker 1 (39:25):
I told my son years ago, years ago, my son, uh,
you know, when he would wear certain things out of
the house, you know, as a mother, and he tells
this story now, he would if he had on something
that like his underwear. Always told him, make sure that
there ain't no holes in it, make sure you wear,
(39:46):
you know, a good pair underwear. Make sure you always
on point, make sure you you know always you know,
watch how you talking, and all those kinds of things.
And yeah, he was a child, and I, you know,
disciplined him. His father disciplined him. I'm gonna tell you something.
He he has grown up to understand. And I told him,
(40:08):
I said, because if if somebody finds you and you
know something ain't right, or you say they gonna they
gonna look for me, they're gonna say it's it's on stormy.
You know what I'm saying. So I told him, just
like mister Michael was saying, put some respect on our name,
on your mama name mm hmm, or your daddy ain't
(40:31):
put some respect on it. You're not just just in
this world by yourself. You're attached to some people, you
know what I'm saying. So I Michael, come out here,
all right, we're gonna come back and talk. I go,
I'm gonna read your emails and go back to the phone,
ray out the gate. Yeah, November second is the day
to fall back. M We don't want it, We really don't.
(40:56):
I don't want it. Can I opt out? No? No, no,
because at four point thirty is gonna be dark around here.
You know what I'm saying. It'll start off at about
five thirty, then it'll go to five and about fourth
you bet. I No, I don't want it. We don't
(41:20):
want it, but there's nothing we can do about it.
Because I think it's like a federal law where the
time changes is what it is because they got to
vote for it in Congress and they don't agree own nothing.
They can't even get this country to back to working again. Well,
you know the country is working, but you know the
government shut down is still happening three weeks now. Mine
(41:42):
they do not agree on Jack. I mean, how could
you not agree on, you know, setting the time at
just leaving it alone? Because so many Americans want that.
Why is it that we just can't leave it alone?
Why can't we And if the government, you know, the
National Guard there in town, okay, so if if the
(42:04):
marshals come it says make it, bring it on to home,
or the MPD come to your door and they knock
and they say, hey, I need you to snitch on
your friend. We want to see if you'll snitch on
your friend. They usually only do that when somebody's in trouble.
So I'm sure Malcolm X, you know when they came
to him, he probably thought he was in trouble. You
know what I'm saying. He was in some trouble and
(42:26):
John Lewis would call it, perhaps he would call it
good trouble. I don't know, but Malcolm X, so no,
I ain't going m I'm not snitching on these good
black people. I'm not doing it. Yeah, probably Hoover, Jago,
Hoover child. It was always after us, wasn't there somebody
(42:49):
back in the day. And maybe the plan is slicker now.
And what if the plan isn't just about black people
or brown people, or what if the plan is against
poor people? What if they just don't like us? Anybody
who ain't got what they got? The five percenters or
(43:14):
are they five percent anymore? Are they the three percenters?
Because more and more of us, the divide is happening,
whether we know it or not, or know what I'm
talking about it or not, the divide of the classes
is happening. Middle class is almost extinct. It still exists
(43:36):
to some degree. But man, what in the world anyway,
Let's get back to what we were talking about, or
get back to your phone calls and see what you're saying.
And I do want to read some of these emails
and then see ms. Hopson says, hello, my beautiful queen,
you are more beautiful in person, says Wow. Let's see
(43:59):
that was me in the tan truck at the gate
of the radio station. Ah, that was you, Amos Hobson.
She says, when you came in, booboo, my friend, want
some tickets to the Manhattan Fest. Thanks for everything that
you have and are doing right now. My five babies
are going through so much and have fallen short. Don't
(44:23):
you know they cut our income without notice and now
things have really been downhill. Pray for me, Sis, I'm
trying so hard. I love you, oh man, come yes,
definitely in my prayers for sure. A Memphis man says,
why are the Democrats always three steps behind the Republicans?
Why are you feeling a filing rather a lawsuit after
(44:45):
the fact? The Guard is here, deal with it. And
to black voters in Memphis, if we vote for the
same people, the crime will return. Let me see what
part does society play in the lives of these young people,
Malcolm says, Do these kids grow up in a vacuum?
Memphis a city with sixty to seventy percent black, yet
(45:07):
only control less than one percent of the local economy,
and we expect everything to be fine. We'll go back
to those emails, but right now, let's go back to
these phones and see what you're talking about. WDA, Hello,
how are you doing?
Speaker 11 (45:27):
Selman day I'm good.
Speaker 1 (45:29):
How are you doing, I'm dude.
Speaker 9 (45:33):
You mentioned.
Speaker 18 (45:35):
Reconomy and how bad the middle class is doing. That
was a book you probably can still get it called
the kidd in Hand, And this man said over twenty
years ago that they was going to take out the
middle class. Also, in most countries, you only got two
(45:56):
classes of people, the have and the have not pay
the middle in most countries. Now, I want to get
to mister Linans. Uh, mister Linings, I know you've seen
the video because you mentioned it. If he didn't want
the ladies come up with the twelve hundred, why why
he didn't get it back? If he wanted to duc
(46:18):
I didn't see him try to give it back. He
passed that money off to somebody as if they was
a fullback on a football pieper he didn't get it back.
And then the ladies, I mean, I didn't feel sorry
for her. She come talking about what I don't work on.
Now give me that money backside the door. I mean,
(46:38):
But the reason these preachers get a lady with this
starman comes to treat them better than we do keys,
and they feel like that they could just tell us
what they need. Many time Crminal o'dllar asked his people
for a planing, said God told him something to sixty
five men.
Speaker 9 (46:56):
He got the plane.
Speaker 18 (46:58):
Now, he says, all the book, all the peoples he
taught about ten is wrong.
Speaker 4 (47:05):
Wrong.
Speaker 18 (47:05):
You told it craft, No Dollar, I knew it, and I'm
not a preacher.
Speaker 1 (47:09):
Wait a minute, I don't think he said that. I
don't think he said that.
Speaker 18 (47:13):
Look it up.
Speaker 6 (47:15):
I wish. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (47:16):
I mean I listened to crafflow Dollar from time to time.
I ain't never heard him say that he would say
he was wrong about that. I don't, but hey, I
look it up. If you say it's out there, I'll
look it up.
Speaker 19 (47:26):
But I don't.
Speaker 1 (47:28):
But you know what I'm about. What I do. Let
me tell you what I do. I don't take your
word or the preacher's word. You know what I'm saying
unless I know it to be true. And I because
I read it for myself, okay, And that's what all
of us need to be doing. And that's just just
my opinion.
Speaker 15 (47:46):
Uh huh.
Speaker 18 (47:48):
Yeah, he says, throw his books away on the subject
about ten percent.
Speaker 1 (47:55):
I'm gonna look for it. I'm I'm gonna look for it.
Speaker 4 (48:01):
Now.
Speaker 1 (48:01):
You an't gotta let me go. I'm just telling you,
I'm gonna look for.
Speaker 18 (48:03):
It, Okay, But I'm saying, marvel worms, the man should
have gave a woman best.
Speaker 1 (48:15):
Because amen, I don't go to church over there. I
don't know what was going on. Because I just say
we we When you start.
Speaker 16 (48:24):
To come, I.
Speaker 9 (48:29):
Was a what the player, oh for him?
Speaker 1 (48:32):
No, man, I don't go to church over there. I
don't know what's going on with him. You know, I
don't know what's going on. I tell you that's out about. Hey,
I don't go to church over there. I don't. And
because I don't, I don't know what happened, is what
I'm saying. There's it was just a clip, and there
is clips out there of what actually the whole context
(48:55):
of what happened is what I'm saying. Okay, that's all
I was saying. I don't know what happened. All I
know is their clips, and I do know that that's
how they get us. A lot of stuff on social
media is just clips. They they ray somebody could take
half of what you said and make it sound like
it's somebody something you said something else on this radio today.
Speaker 18 (49:19):
Well, i'ma I'm gonna play this storman. I haven't seen
the whole tape, but I gamantee you the whole tape
is not gonna explain how he treated that woman. And
he still got the twelve hundred. He takes me the
two thousands, act like she was in the wrong line,
but he didn't get the twelve hundred backs and you
know what, he passed it off.
Speaker 1 (49:40):

And twelve and thirteen year old is understart when it
comes out of that preacher. I ain't mad that the
preacher was getting his money. He pulled the police in
the slot. You know, that's why he likes women in church.
You don't too much care about a man being in
church because you know the women where the money. So
(55:10):
when they read from the Book of Men's in fairy
tale and get them get them girls in church, they
don't want.

Speaker 2 (57:25):
I grew up in lemore in Gardens in the eighties.
Speaker 9 (57:30):
We didn't we didn't have nothing, not Nathan.
Speaker 5 (57:35):
But we want out Robbins, folks.
Speaker 2 (57:38):
We won't out murdering for we wasn't out doing dry byes.
Speaker 5 (57:43):

Speaker 2 (57:44):
Why this generation is so screwed because we got a
generation before.
Speaker 9 (57:48):
This one that was willing not cases.
Speaker 2 (57:52):
We're we're literally making excuses for the criminal instead of
being appreciative of the assistance that the city has received
from sixteen hundred Pennsylvania Avenue. Joe Biden, the Democratic Party
loved the Negro family so much, but yet they lifted
(58:14):
no finger to save no kind of help. Come on, somebody,
make it make sense. And now that the help is there,
and you got you you, you got, you got black
Democratic leadership, and it's I used the term leadership loosely
filing a restraining order to keep the National Guard out of.
Speaker 18 (58:35):
The city that needs all the help.
Speaker 2 (58:38):
It can get, and you got black folks sharing it all.
Speaker 9 (58:44):
Somebody make it make sense.
Speaker 2 (58:46):
And with my last few moments with the I think
the guy's name was Ray. The last college he was
kind of correct.
Speaker 5 (58:52):
I think it was. It was just July fifth or.
Speaker 2 (58:57):
Fourth of twenty twenty two, with crapflow dollars. Didn't admit
that a lot of his teachings on tithing and giving
was totally off the chart and not actually scriptural. And
one last thing I noticed that you you you're you're
may I present into evidence exhibitating this thory.
Speaker 13 (59:20):
You just made mention of clips.
Speaker 2 (59:23):
And it's it's it's very strange to me that now
people are understanding.
Speaker 5 (59:30):
What clips are.
Speaker 14 (59:32):
But I've been myself black conservative Clyde Jackson.
Speaker 2 (59:36):
We've been telling y'all about the clips for.
Speaker 11 (59:40):
The past four or five years.
Speaker 2 (59:41):
You the biggest clip that started all of the debackery
what the Trump administration was twenty.

put them out there, and you know so if you
do that, I'm not mad at you, whether you like
them or not. You know, I'm I'm grateful. It's a
happy time in my life. And I'm grateful for what
you know, God has done for me because you know,
(01:00:48):
I was talking to my girlfriend last night. We were
talking about, you know, so many things, and I'm just
grateful that people are finding hope in my little old story.
You know what I'm saying, Because people need hope right now.
And I find hope in a lot of your stories
when you call and you share them with me and
(01:01:08):
what's happening in your lives. I find hope in what
you do. So you caught a little hope. And you
know now, Mama want to get back outside. Auntie, you
want to get back outside? Hey, you do it, but
let him come to you. I don't know. I'm still
got a traditional when it comes to certain things. Am
I wrong for being that way? I still believe that
(01:01:30):
it was okay for him to find me and me
not running after him. You know what I'm saying. I'm
still traditional in that way. It's just some things i'm
traditional in, but I still got a voice. Now, I'm
gonna be honest as honest as I can be. So
I think that's where you get a good foundation, you
know what I'm saying. Yeah, anyway, love will find you
(01:01:56):
if you'll let it. We're gonna come back and talk
to you. I see you, Nurse Beverly and J p
Jo p out the gate. I'm coming to you. And

Speaker 1 (01:02:43):
Uh, thank you very hard and thank you. I appreciate that.
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 22 (01:02:50):
Something you know and that guy didn't win. It's our
read and moriding. You know, I'm telling you it's a
real moriding.
Speaker 1 (01:02:58):
But the truth.
Speaker 22 (01:02:59):
Toull know what pulitical part is off shofted black people?
What Democrat and republic card? So what I'm saying, But
I don't see them coming with no economic help for
black people. They're coming with that tongue at an armored car.
How can that? How can that make you see if
black people?
Speaker 1 (01:03:19):
M all right, all right, let me see here. Uh,
let's see Clydes's miss Stormy. You did the right thing
by letting your husband find you, because if you chose
a man, then you got to keep him happy. But
if that man chose you, he's going to treat you
like a queen from now on. And he does. Mister
Cleo said, good evening, Auntie. You shouldn't put no preacher
(01:03:43):
higher than God. People gonna learn. Congrats on your marriage.
Thank you so much. You're right about it. You're right
about it. Don't put him at nobody, don't put him
up there. Oh no, that's not what you do. Let's
see perfect setup. What's Upstormy. I'm not happy you got married.
(01:04:03):
I'm jealous. It's so beautiful and cool. I'm really happy
for you. Wait a minute, just say okay, uh, your
man one, you got a good job and you're fine
about the world. Well, thank you?
Speaker 5 (01:04:18):
Is that?
Speaker 1 (01:04:19):
Okay? All right, let's go back to the phones and
see what you guys are talking about on this beautiful day.
W D I A hello, Hello, how you doing?
Speaker 2 (01:04:28):

Speaker 11 (01:04:32):

Speaker 1 (01:04:35):
Oh, thank you, appreciate that.
Speaker 11 (01:04:38):
Yeah, and you'll sell here long I got of course,
uh huh.
Speaker 23 (01:04:42):
And maybe uh and getting right understanding of Okay, we
have the state troopers and all these other awful here.
Speaker 11 (01:04:54):
I'm glad they're glad they're helping out out. Holy thought.
So why is the military here? What they do? They
can't wrest nobody that.
Speaker 20 (01:05:05):
I know of.
Speaker 9 (01:05:06):
They can't chase you down and give.
Speaker 11 (01:05:08):
You a ticket, they can't pull you over.
Speaker 23 (01:05:10):
So what so up?
Speaker 20 (01:05:13):
You know?
Speaker 14 (01:05:13):
Quite so?
Speaker 23 (01:05:14):
Gune hold about military being here? That's what our mount
is fighting for. You know, why are you stay here?
Why are we paying all these money for him being here?
We got all these.
Speaker 11 (01:05:25):
Other law enforcements here to help us out.
Speaker 9 (01:05:29):
They don't make no sense to me.
Speaker 1 (01:05:31):
That's interesting because I don't know what they're doing right now.
You know, honestly, I don't really.
Speaker 23 (01:05:36):
Sayration nobody they I ain't.
Speaker 11 (01:05:38):
Seen all needles.
Speaker 9 (01:05:39):
But they can't arrest you.
Speaker 1 (01:05:40):
And what happened to them cleaning up? You have you
seen any cleaning up around here?
Speaker 12 (01:05:44):
No?
Speaker 11 (01:05:45):
Oh, but I see them.
Speaker 23 (01:05:47):
How much money they paying them per day to be here?
Speaker 12 (01:05:52):
So what do you know?
Speaker 1 (01:05:53):
All these but they're supposed to be assisting the police,
not not. You know, if I guess, hey, that's a
good thing because maybe the reason we're not seeing that
is because we're not where the criminals are and we're
not criminals.
Speaker 11 (01:06:13):
Yeah, that's true. True.
Speaker 9 (01:06:15):
You know, I see why the marriage is fighting again.
Speaker 1 (01:06:17):
That's crazy.
Speaker 23 (01:06:19):
You know, he ain't fighting against the help that we
have with the state troopers and all that.
Speaker 11 (01:06:24):
You know, Hey, going.
Speaker 23 (01:06:25):
Home, I'm glad to hear. But military, you know, we're
are a foreign country now, mmm, you.
Speaker 1 (01:06:34):
Got to have military here, you miss Joe b You
think that you think it might be something going on
that ain't nobody telling us?
Speaker 5 (01:06:41):
Right? You know?
Speaker 18 (01:06:42):
And all the republ John ho hoh, Yeah, military.
Speaker 9 (01:06:46):

Speaker 14 (01:06:47):
Why, well they can lock us down or something or hood?
Speaker 1 (01:06:50):

Speaker 14 (01:06:51):
Because we're this this meant in the White House.
Speaker 11 (01:06:54):
You know, I'm calling the mill.
Speaker 23 (01:06:55):
Ain't no telling.
Speaker 11 (01:06:56):
What's going on?
Speaker 1 (01:06:59):
All right? Thank you for calling in, mister Joe P.
Appreciate you. Enjoyed your life, all right, I appreciate that.
I'm gonna do just that. Yeah, you do the same, okay,
w D I A l O afternoon.
Speaker 15 (01:07:16):
Missus Stormy, Yes.
Speaker 14 (01:07:21):
You are missing.
Speaker 18 (01:07:23):
Storm storm K I'm gonna call you.
Speaker 11 (01:07:27):
Missus storm.
Speaker 13 (01:07:29):
What your married name is, but anyway, so right.
Speaker 14 (01:07:33):
It's married.
Speaker 18 (01:07:33):
But I'm gonna call you missus Stormy.
Speaker 1 (01:07:36):
Thank you. Now, I just sat up straight, thank you.
Speaker 13 (01:07:41):
Yes, yes, oh no, there some calls Storm and you know,
sit basking and and you don't you know what happened
with you over the last couple of weeks.
Speaker 18 (01:07:51):
You know, such a beautiful, beautiful.
Speaker 14 (01:07:53):
Thing for you.
Speaker 18 (01:07:54):
But I am disturbed.
Speaker 15 (01:07:56):
And concerned about two things that's going on in this country.
Speaker 1 (01:08:00):
What's that? And what'll you usually don't pat this, but
you've got something going on in the background. You got
me on speakerphone. What's going on?
Speaker 8 (01:08:09):
Hold on?
Speaker 18 (01:08:11):
Hold on?
Speaker 14 (01:08:11):
I think I just got your speaker Okay, I'm taking
you off.
Speaker 1 (01:08:15):
Yeah, that's good and you loud and clear now, thank you?
Speaker 18 (01:08:19):
Okay, you know what I was saying.
Speaker 15 (01:08:22):
I'm I'm disturbed and concerned and angry about two things
that's going.
Speaker 1 (01:08:27):
On in this country.
Speaker 9 (01:08:30):
One of them is the threat.
Speaker 15 (01:08:34):
To Democratic leader Quem Jeffries by the huglus and thugs
that is spelling President pardon. I am so disturbed and
upset by that. I should not be surprised, but I
think it's a crime, dirty shame that these criminals.
Speaker 9 (01:08:56):
Have guiden out.
Speaker 15 (01:08:57):
And they are still doing the same old criminal life stuff.
Speaker 9 (01:09:04):
It's a crime, dirty shame.
Speaker 13 (01:09:07):
The second thing.
Speaker 15 (01:09:09):
That I'm concerned about is the fact that people who
are dependent on Snap benefits to eat and to feed
their children and the elderly to have nutritious meals may
not have that benefit next month. And people want to
(01:09:29):
blame the Democrats, but you can't blame the Democrats because
the Democrats is trying to keep things in place where.
Speaker 9 (01:09:37):
People can have health insurance and people.
Speaker 11 (01:09:40):
Can have their jobs.
Speaker 15 (01:09:41):
And my question that I want to know from the
Trump supporters what do the Republicans have in place?
Speaker 9 (01:09:49):
What are they going to replace it with?
Speaker 13 (01:09:52):
For what I understand, nothing.
Speaker 15 (01:09:55):
They're just going to allow people to not be able
to afford.
Speaker 9 (01:09:59):
Health ins Sure and just die.
Speaker 15 (01:10:03):
And then if people don't get the food.
Speaker 1 (01:10:05):
Stamps next month, it's gonna.
Speaker 15 (01:10:08):
Be a lot of hungry, angry people, people having now
nutrition in all.
Speaker 9 (01:10:14):
But what's gonna have to happen. It's gonna have to
be a lot of food banks.
Speaker 1 (01:10:19):
Set up, and there are a lot of food banks
set up. Nurse paedily, you know, But some of these folks,
though I hate to say this, but I don't hate
to say it, some folks just need to go get
a job. And I know some of y'all might say
it's easier said than done, but I did it. And
I've been broke, busted and discussed before. I've taken jobs
that that. I've worked at a gas station one time.
(01:10:40):
I you know, did all kinds of jobs. You know
what I'm saying, If you want it bad enough, you
don't have a criminal record. And I hate it for
people that are. And Meredith was right. You know, these
kids get out here and they're doing all kinds of stuff. Now,
whatever your record was when you would were juvenile, they
(01:11:00):
can look at that. Now, the judges can look at
that now. It used to be where they couldn't, but
they can now. It'll follow you. But a lot of
people if they're willing and able, let me say able,
not willing, because a lot of folks want stuff for
free now. But if you are able, you're gonna have
(01:11:22):
to get a job. Gone other days that the handout
is what it is. People are gonna have to get
a job. You don't have to rob, steal and kill.
You can get a job. I did it. I ain't
always been where I am today. I have not. I've
been on federal assistance before food stamps all that. I
(01:11:45):
got out of it because I want it better. And
it didn't take me a year or two. It took
me longer than that. But I waited and I kept
doing right. I kept making some good decisions. I made
some bad ones along the way, but I kept making
some good decisions decisions to get up out of that rut.
Speaker 24 (01:12:05):
W D I a hello, Hello, Hey there, congratulations, young lady.
Speaker 1 (01:12:13):
Thank you bird legs. How you doing.
Speaker 11 (01:12:16):
I'm doing great.
Speaker 12 (01:12:17):
I am so happy that he found you.
Speaker 1 (01:12:21):
Me too.
Speaker 14 (01:12:22):
I believe.
Speaker 24 (01:12:23):
I believe that's where a lot of ladiers make the
mistake it. And I say that. Let me say this here,
even when I was younger, if I was at a.
Speaker 1 (01:12:29):
Club or whatever wherever.
Speaker 24 (01:12:30):
I mean, and I see a gentleman that I thought, hmmm,
he might you know, get that or whatever.
Speaker 4 (01:12:37):
You know.
Speaker 1 (01:12:38):
Wait wait, you said he might get do what Now.
Speaker 14 (01:12:42):
I'm not gonna say.
Speaker 24 (01:12:44):
But if he didn't step up to me, yeah, And
I'm like that to this day. Ladies, let him come
to you. I think it's it's to see how see
how see how saw him?
Speaker 14 (01:12:54):
Her husband came to her.
Speaker 24 (01:12:56):
That's the proper order of things that that has not changed.
That has not changed. And I'm like Johnny Tayor, I
feel sorry for so many women that will never have
a husband's to them.
Speaker 18 (01:13:09):
I've had two.
Speaker 24 (01:13:11):
I've had two and God rested the second one soul.
And I never want to get married again. Not saying
that they were terrible marriages, but I'm not gonna let
them want to interrupt my chicks.
Speaker 2 (01:13:20):
You gotta say, I'm.
Speaker 18 (01:13:23):
Young lady.
Speaker 14 (01:13:24):
I am so so.
Speaker 11 (01:13:25):
Happy for you.
Speaker 24 (01:13:26):
God bless you and your husband. Thank you, and may
you all have continued life in Jesus Christ. How about that?
Speaker 1 (01:13:33):
I love it.
Speaker 13 (01:13:35):
Take care.
Speaker 16 (01:13:38):
Oh, by the way, where can I see your picture.
Speaker 1 (01:13:40):
Uh, they're on our ten seventy w g I a
Facebook page.
Speaker 5 (01:13:44):
Very good.
Speaker 24 (01:13:45):
I will take a look at it again, young lady.
Speaker 11 (01:13:47):
Congratulations for you and your husband.
Speaker 1 (01:13:48):
Okay, thank you? All right, all bye bye. She's so
sweet and I think she told Stan I was listening,
because you know, I'll be listening to stand in the morning.
I think she told Stan this. She was back around us.
She's back in Memphis wd A.
Speaker 5 (01:14:03):
Hello, hey in storm.
Speaker 1 (01:14:05):
They read what's going on?
Speaker 5 (01:14:07):
I'm going good about you doing good?
Speaker 2 (01:14:11):
Yeah, I got all my congratulations out of the way
yesterday you did.
Speaker 5 (01:14:14):
You just want to talk about this thing with.
Speaker 2 (01:14:17):
Denver always calling in and talking, you know, about everything.
If I just want you to ask him one thing
when he calls tomorrow, I want you to ask him
about the insurrection on January the sixth, because they feel
like they did nothing wrong. They absolutely feel like they
(01:14:40):
did nothing wrong. People were hurt, they broke in buildings,
they sole items and all of that, and they felt
like nothing was ever They did nothing wrong.
Speaker 5 (01:14:49):
But he wanted to sit here and criticize Memphis.
Speaker 8 (01:14:51):
Denver has crime just like Memphis.
Speaker 2 (01:14:53):
It's just not as much as a matter of fact,
what is it a month ago? Two months ago they
had a a school shooting? Did he call in and
say anything about that? They had a school shooting in Denver,
in which you know, he don't.
Speaker 5 (01:15:06):
Really live in Denver.
Speaker 12 (01:15:07):
We already found that out.
Speaker 2 (01:15:08):
He lived in a little small town in the suburbs
of Denver where he don't have to worry about a
lot of that stuff. Why didn't he move to Denver
and help them with the crime they.
Speaker 5 (01:15:18):
Got over there?
Speaker 7 (01:15:19):
Well, why don't he come back.
Speaker 2 (01:15:20):
To Memphiss he's so good at all of this and
trying to convince people that the Republicans are the best
things since sliced bread. Why don't he come here and
help the folks here since he's so good at it.
Speaker 8 (01:15:32):
You see what I'm saying, and why I just want you.
Speaker 2 (01:15:34):
To question him about this January sixth.
Speaker 1 (01:15:37):
I'm not wasting my time.
Speaker 2 (01:15:39):
He said he was there, but they and I guarantee
you he'll tell you he did nothing wrong. In all
those people that broke into that Capitol building and sold
and hurt people did nothing wrong. I would just like
to see him to get on the radio and tell
us that thanks for taking my calls, all right, rad.
Speaker 1 (01:15:55):
Thank you and maybe he'll call us. But I'm not
asking him that, y'all know. I'll know if I asked
him that, what are he gonna do? What y'all, I'll
know he's gonna get up out of that, y'all know.
Speaker 9 (01:16:05):
W I A hello, what's up?
Speaker 16 (01:16:09):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:16:09):
Not much? What's going on on this man? How you doing?
Speaker 5 (01:16:12):
All right?
Speaker 7 (01:16:13):
Hey, don't put my name out there like that.
Speaker 9 (01:16:15):
Oh look at Yeah, I want to say.
Speaker 25 (01:16:20):
Some about demosents and guy said somebody, but I come, Denver,
do on that report the little crime that happened in
their neighborhood. That's another thing is while I'm saying, And
another thing is when you in't bombing bodies like he
said he do? You know, people have spirits in their body,
demon spirits and this may be what affected him, But
(01:16:42):
I don't know what's affecting black conservative And uh, uh
what do you call.
Speaker 5 (01:16:48):
The other one? Clyde?
Speaker 7 (01:16:49):
Clyde?
Speaker 4 (01:16:50):
You know?
Speaker 9 (01:16:51):
Yeah, the demon spirits being these bodies and stuff.
Speaker 8 (01:16:53):
When he need few marticians ship.
Speaker 9 (01:16:56):
Then we need to ask Denver.
Speaker 25 (01:16:58):
Uh what about the state of uh Colorado? That's margin
all the funeral marticians for them been lying for years
for at least the last decades for not uh uh
you know, uh burning.
Speaker 9 (01:17:14):
The body and stuff like this.
Speaker 25 (01:17:16):
And they ain't been doing drawing people's body, right, They've
been martitoring a martician for at least uh it's probably
been about like fifteen years now more.
Speaker 11 (01:17:26):
To stay in Colorado.
Speaker 1 (01:17:27):
So he don't talk about that, you know. But uh, yeah, problem,
there's problems everywhere man. But but but go ahead real quick.
Speaker 7 (01:17:35):
This is in biblical time.
Speaker 25 (01:17:38):
See all this stuff in revelation about all these people
don't believe alive before they believe the truth. They think
they're doing right, they're actually doing wrong.
Speaker 9 (01:17:48):
And it's putting it in there.
Speaker 25 (01:17:49):
It's putting it out there in Revelationship. All we got
to do is read the Bible and see this is
the sign of time.
Speaker 5 (01:17:54):
And you got to go back to God. You know,
you've got to got.
Speaker 25 (01:17:57):
To depend on God, so you can't just depend on yourself.
Speaker 5 (01:18:00):
And when you got a bunch.
Speaker 25 (01:18:01):
Of people calling in here every day, I can see
it can only leave a person with a confused mind
to listen to all these opinions about people, and they
show these other people that we are all.
Speaker 9 (01:18:11):
Confused, we don't know what to do.
Speaker 5 (01:18:13):
And when to do it and how to do it.
Speaker 1 (01:18:15):
Well, not everybody. You know a lot of people can
listen to what people have to say and and not
take it in. You know what I'm saying. They love
to hear what people have to have to say. They
don't leave you it, don't leave me confused. Mm hmm
yourself together? W d I a hello?
Speaker 19 (01:18:32):
I'm a man?
Speaker 1 (01:18:32):
You confused?
Speaker 8 (01:18:35):
No, I'm putly oreo cookies.
Speaker 19 (01:18:37):
That's where I am.
Speaker 1 (01:18:39):
No, But seriously, because we listen to other people's conversations
all the time, and you know every day, I know
I do, but I don't. I don't you know, always
I do the same thing I do in church. I
chew them. I chew them, meet and spit out the bones, right.
Speaker 5 (01:18:55):
I don't.
Speaker 8 (01:18:55):
Don't too many people confuse me.
Speaker 19 (01:18:58):
For those who talking about paying attention to and the
ones that I do, I pretty much comprehend.
Speaker 5 (01:19:03):
What they're saying, you know, whether I agree with it
or not.
Speaker 11 (01:19:05):
So No, I'm not.
Speaker 19 (01:19:06):
Normally confused about anybody. You know, anybody's come in. Yeah,
but listen about the National God. I just want to
ask people who have a problem with the National God
be here now. I understand it's being said that they're
valuating the state constitution, so I understand that part. But
outside of that, why are you so bothered about the.
Speaker 8 (01:19:27):
National God's been here?
Speaker 19 (01:19:28):
What have they done wrong about? How are they affecting
you in a negative way?
Speaker 8 (01:19:34):
I mean, why are you so bothered?
Speaker 19 (01:19:36):
What's the problem? You're talking about the money they're being paid.
Speaker 14 (01:19:40):
If these agencies.
Speaker 19 (01:19:42):
Wasn't here, you'll be at your money taken by the criminals.
You all have been so distracted by the national Gods
that you've forgotten about the criminals.
Speaker 18 (01:19:51):
I'm just trying to.
Speaker 19 (01:19:51):
Figure out, why are you so bothered about the National
God's be here?
Speaker 5 (01:19:55):
What about the rest of other people should.
Speaker 2 (01:19:57):
Be at the dight, APF and security.
Speaker 8 (01:20:00):
The US Margan.
Speaker 5 (01:20:01):
What about them?
Speaker 12 (01:20:02):
Okay, we're sending we're.
Speaker 9 (01:20:04):
Sending the National Guards away.
Speaker 11 (01:20:05):
We still got the rest of the people on the ground.
Speaker 12 (01:20:07):
What's the problem?
Speaker 19 (01:20:09):
Start praying and wearing it about stuff and just let
the people do the work and then hopefully I'll see
it becomes FAFE again.
Speaker 5 (01:20:15):
I think they just look at something to warning about
Stormy Will.
Speaker 1 (01:20:18):
Maybe it gets some on TV, maybe it gets some
own national TV, Maybe it gets some press because they
running for office. Maybe you know, and I'm not talking
about anybody. I'm not talking about anybody in particular, don't
get me wrong. But I do know that some people
do things so that they can be on the news,
so that they can be on TV. They do they
(01:20:40):
do things, and they say things, and they get real
loud because they want attention and that and the more
attention and the more eyes get on you, the more
people know your name, and the more people will vote
for you.
Speaker 19 (01:20:51):
And because the elect there is an election coming up
next year. Also because I noticed one guy the other day,
you know, like I say, if the Constitution is being lady,
I understand that, I respect it, but outside of it
something Come on, man, we were being terrorized by the
criminals two three.
Speaker 5 (01:21:08):
Months ago, so what we're talking about. But all right,
so this is all I got.
Speaker 1 (01:21:12):
All right, comming man, thank you so much for calling in.
And I'm not saying that about Democrats. Just about democrats,
I'm saying it about Republicans. Do the same thing.
Speaker 4 (01:21:20):
Man.
Speaker 1 (01:21:20):
They cry eagle, they say, all of them, they say
what they're gonna say, and a lot of them, you know,
don't mean any of it. They just want attention. They
just want to you know, get on the TV, and
they just want you to remember their names, because the
more you see them, the more you know who they are,
and the more you decide when you go to the bulls,
(01:21:41):
perhaps subliminate, subliminally who you're gonna vote for.
Speaker 5 (01:21:46):
HM.
Speaker 1 (01:21:49):
It's catchy. That's why I said yesterday. Man, if you're
gonna go and run for office and you're gonna do
all that stuff, you know, have the right heart when
you do it. People don't have to, right. A lot
of folks don't handle right heart no more. They don't.
They just do what they want to do, you know.
(01:22:10):
And you know, you can't be mad at everybody because
at least they getting in the fight. At least they
decided I'm gonna I'm gonna, I'm gonna get out here
and I'm gonna do something.
Speaker 2 (01:22:22):
Hm.
Speaker 5 (01:22:22):
Hm.
Speaker 1 (01:22:23):
Last caller w.
Speaker 23 (01:22:24):
D I A Hello, he hey there.
Speaker 12 (01:22:29):
Hey, Hey, this is Angelo.
Speaker 1 (01:22:30):
Hey Angelo.
Speaker 10 (01:22:31):
First, congratulate you, thank you your husband on your you know,
your marriage and and you know, God bless you, and
may you know you guys just have and a exemporary
beautiful life together.
Speaker 5 (01:22:44):
God bless you.
Speaker 11 (01:22:45):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:22:46):
I appreciate that.
Speaker 12 (01:22:47):
And yes, yes, and number two I think we get
caught up on word sometimes, you know, people here in
National God. Because when they first started talking about I
did a little research because the governor with them going
to have all these other agencies coming in. So I said, okay,
well what other agents is going to be coming? And
I think that they're probably about a total of five
(01:23:09):
different agencies that really came to Memphis, you know, like
the Border Patrol, Homeland Security, that's a wildlife group that's here, uh,
and somebody else I haven't written down. I'm not of
the house right now, but I had written down and
that's always done. Is just added to the FBI, the
(01:23:31):
the at S and the other agencies that was already here.
You know, we added more people to those agencies. We
brought other agencies in the you know, it's just the police,
which I'm you know, I have no issue with right now,
you know.
Speaker 20 (01:23:45):
Uh.
Speaker 12 (01:23:45):
As far as the National Guard, I think when people
hear that the National God just got here but a
week ago out there, so the other agencies were already
here and as we were coming, man, you know something
about the time the National Guard that if people up there,
because that's what I keep here, the National Job thenation, well,
(01:24:05):
it's not the we're the national god.
Speaker 8 (01:24:07):
That's doing anything.
Speaker 12 (01:24:08):
It's the other agencies that's doing things. It's like going
to the grocery store and you're getting a checkout line.
They're only two workers working. The lines get.
Speaker 2 (01:24:16):
Real long, and then the other.
Speaker 12 (01:24:19):
People will come in and help get those lines short.
And once the lines get short of the other two
people that came get those lines short, they throwing about
their business doing something there the lines get along again.
So I think that's what's happening right now. You know
there the other agencies came in to the police are
hand and they have and now I'm a Democrat. I
don't care for Trump, but I appreciate the fact that
(01:24:40):
we have what we have here and it is quieter,
and I love it.
Speaker 5 (01:24:46):
I have daughters.
Speaker 12 (01:24:47):
I feel like my wife. My daughters, you know, they
are better, are getting around right now. As uh, what's
the name steam calls in all the time to say
keep your head on swivel.
Speaker 2 (01:24:58):
People will not keeping their head on swivel now because
of what's going on. And me driving up and down
the highway myself, I don't see all the paper tags
and stuff. I don't hear the guys going see the
guys doing.
Speaker 12 (01:25:08):
Telling nothing and you know, step in certain neighborhood. So
you know, it's just it's a blessing and people have
to receive a blessing and understand what the blessing is
right now. Now that could be a little motives behind it,
but we don't know that right now. But right now,
receive a blessing. The city is the safest city, and
let's call from there.
Speaker 8 (01:25:29):
But it's not the National Guard.
Speaker 12 (01:25:31):
That's really doing anything. It's the other agency. So counsel
out to turn National Guard. Look at the other agencies
and look at what they're doing. And we're not Chicago.
People are handling this thing pretty good and methods.
Speaker 1 (01:25:43):
Yeah, you're right about it, Miss Angelo. Thank you so
much for calling in. Appreciate your call to uh, let
me see somebody tap the.
Speaker 26 (01:25:48):
At Congratulations doctor Storm and Tea. I wish that you
and your husband have a wonderful, wonderful and loan lasting
and enjoyable and amazing wonderful marriage.
Speaker 5 (01:26:03):
Again.
Speaker 26 (01:26:04):
Congratulations. This is from Greg Cox.
Speaker 2 (01:26:07):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:26:08):
Nurse Beverly's husband, thank you so much. I appreciate that.
Coach
