on social media, what's happening over there and bless a heart.

In California and we got a tornado warning. First off,
I'm like, did the tornadoes follow me to California? But
there was a tornado warning. Happened in the middle of
the night. I was yeah, I was ready to get
into tub, you know, because they said take cover. Nothing happened, nothing,

Thank goodness. And I cannot imagine going on a trip
to Jamaica thinking everything is gonna be fine and then
you find out it's not.

I'm so tired, I'm sleep I have not been able
to sleep because my anxiety. Through the roof, I can
lay down, but I'm chi cheatery canse sleep. It's finally
raining here Montico Bay. It's finally raining, and the lights
were already flickering.

And you know, I saw a video where there's a
content creator who is in Jamaica. His name is Flass,
and so he's documenting the hurricane over there, Hurricane Melissa,
and the stuff that he's showing it doesn't look good.
So I'm really hoping in praying that Alicia is okay.

And if you know somebody over there, you got some
family members over because there are people that are stranded
over there. So yeah, hopefully and prayer for everybody is okay.
I did see where there, uh there are people that
have lost their lives. I think they said a total
of seven lives have been lost throughout the Caribbean due
to the storm Caribbean islands. Uh So, at any rate,

Jamaica not so good right now. Hurricane Melissa and Melissa
is a nice name. I wonder why they named it Melissa.

And when they get to the Stormers, they're going the
s is rather well they name it storm here.

I just saw where you know her her case is,
she's likely seeking an appeal. She's probably gonna go it's
probably gonna go to the Tennessee Supreme Court over that ouster.

That's man. I know Wonda doesn't like that. She she
she had press comforts, I believe today. And yeah, and
here's the interesting thing. How long does she have to
be in that role?

County Commission voted to override Mayor Harris's veto cutting short
MSCs board terms.

And I know last night there was there was some
rumbling and I think this woman is.

Fox thirteen talked to Sarah Carpenter and she had a
few things to say about, you know, now having those
Memphis Shelby County School Board members on the ballot as
the same time as other elected officials. They'll all be
on the ballot at one time, so they're kind of
just lining them up. What do y'all think about it?

What do y'all think? This is what happened last night
outside of the meeting.

At the meeting, relief because we've been coming down here
too damn long about the same thing.

It's copping old school board.

for them to be there, they'll be there. And guess what,

mainly the people that aren't happy about it, well y'all know.

Tijuana Murphy is one of them.

two years, you already serve two years, you could end
up serving ten if you get re elected twice. So

And it does make me wonder too, how how will
we feel? How you know, how people will feel? Next
time around? Will they be okay with electing some of
the people that they don't like right now. Just because

The Democrats are going to have a decision to make
as far as presidency is concerned next year, you guys,
m Former Vice President Kamala Harris, she's hinting that shape
she might be making another run at presidency. She might

She might. She might be in for a run for
her money.

As far as the on the Democratic ticket is concerned, well,
she could end up being vice president again.

Anyway, California Governor Gavin Newsom has confirmed that he is
considering a twenty twenty eight presidential run.

together and helping out, you know people because of the
government shut down. I know some people that were coming
to town for the Brandy Monica concert and so now
they're changing, you know, their mind because they're unsure of
what could be happening as it relates to flights. You

doesn't look like the Democrats and the Republicans are going
to make up or play nice. It doesn't look like
they're gonna do it because at least we know nothing's
happened so far. But I mean, they could, they could
change their mind because I saw where one union, there's

a union that's saying that they're talking to the Democrats
and they're saying, hey, come on in this thing, in
this thing.

Get us get these people back to work.

Hopefully we'll get back the government will get back up
and run it, and people will get paid.

Hey, did you guys hear about that truck hauling the
twenty one monkeys for a testing facility in Florida overturned
in Jasper County and Mississippi? I just steph, Yi, there's
one monkey on the loose. And this ain't good news either,
because first off, how did that flip over? And they

got pictures of the monkeys just coming out so aggressive
monkeys they say with hepatitis, sea herpes and COVID nineteen
are on the loose in Mississippi after that truck overturn.
Now word is they got all of them but one,
all but one.

Did you guys hear that seafood restaurant in downtown Memphis
they decided to close after eighteen years.

In a statement they said they posted to the business website,
they claimed that civil unrest in downtown Memphis is the
reason why they're closing. They said it's taunted their sales
to the point of no return. That's what they're saying,
but a lot of people are saying, uh, uh, it

ain't true, not true at all. So one of the person, uh,
let me see, I was looking at one of the
news stations and they had somebody that said, this is
the biggest joke I've seen in a while, flying Fish.
It may be because your of your inability to stay relevant,

or you know, as newer, more exciting dining experiences have
come to downtown and are booming. And then who was
this Downtown Neighborhood Association, the president Jarrett Price. Anyway, Uh,
that was part of what he said. And then he said, folks,

we just had four to five new restaurants opening downtown
and have flourished since they're opening.

Don't let these people.

Use civil unrest as an excuse to bad business practices
and failing attendance.

A lot of people ain't too.

Happy about the fact that they are saying it's civil unrest,
is it. It's not what a lot of people are
saying on social media. So hopefully they're going to be well,
they're closing, but a lot of people are defending the
fact that they're that's not the reason why they're closing.

that's what they're saying. However, the president of the Downtown
Neighborhood Association, he had some other things to say, and
a lot of people like I said that I saw

Maybe you did, maybe you didn't, I don't know. You
know what I found out. I was looking on social
media and I found out something. I found out that
I am a tests optimist. I saw that word today,
first time I ever saw it. And I'm curious if

So I've been told for quite some time.

That I'm running late all the time, and you know,
I hate it when I do that because I think
I have more time, but I don't, and sometimes I'm
running late for stuff.

I found out today that a test optimist is a
person who consistently runs late because they think they have
more time than they actually do. And it said it's
really not a bad thing. It's not being lazy or
nothing like that. It's a thinking pattern shaped by the
way your brain handles time and optimism. Instead of planning

for real life delays, the brain imagines the best case
scenario and underestimates how long things will take.

I do that quite a bit, and I'm not sure
why I do it. I just know it's something that
I do.

I try to be I'm pretty much on time when

But sometimes sometimes I'd be running a little late.

And for me, I feel like being on time for
something is actually being early, and for a lot of things,
when I have to host something or go do something
like that, for a lot of things, being early is
on time because when you're early, you actually, you know,

get a chance to talk to people and get a
chance to kind of go over what it is, whatever
it is that you got to do for that event
or whatever, you know what I'm saying, especially if I'm,
like I said, hosting or m seeing something.

But hearing that I'm a test.

Optimist makes me not feel so bad about it now.
And I didn't know there was some optimism involved in
that had no idea, but there is. Yeah, and then
I saw something on social media. If you want to

Family had a situation at a funeral. You know, when
it comes to people passing away, people get really emotional
sometimes those life events, it doesn't matter any kind of
life event that you go to, your family, you're part of,
people get really emotional, but especially when somebody passes away.
And I saw this video on social media where there

was some people's names that were left off the obituary
and what happened. Some people at the funeral didn't like it,
so they got into a fight.

When it comes to somebody passing away, people, like I said,
they get pretty emotional.

sad because these folks were arguing because their names were
left off of the obituary.

family members get upset about things. Some one family member
pays for everything and they do it the way they

I wanted to look at the reasons that people declared
bankrupt in America. I knew that medical extensions was number
one and number two, but according to Investorpedia, number one
is lost of income. Number two is medical extensions. Number

three is I get through all these ads affordable mortgage
flash foreclosure. Number four is overspending. Number five is providing
financial assistance, meaning that you provide financial assistance to a
relatives sold somebody else. I say that to say this,

I think the Democrats just did a very very poor
job of explaining way before the shutdown. In fact, last summer,
they should have started while when they made the deal
with the Republicans in regards to the Affordable CARECT or
the negotiation there.

Really understand what to stay with folks who don't get
medical care, probably affordable care aka Obamacare. So folks are
thinking that the Democrats are just just it just came
out of the blue. But that's not the people's fault

that what folks should realize is that we should have
to make a choice between food and medical expenses, either
both of them to kill you sooner or later. I
know people who worked their whole life, worked hard and
honestly got sick and then had to declare bankruptcy, whose
everything give it to the government in order to go

There's no diganty in that. So I think that we
need to have a come to Jesus meeting. White was
held on ball Show with the two lawyers she had
on there, and talk to people about this state and
why this fight is worth it. One thing I know
for sure, and I've known Republicans a long time, I

don't consider these teos the magas Republicans. I believe there's
something else altogether. But one thing I know for sure,
rich folks ain't never cried about post folks province. And
