Speaker 1 (00:00):
Movies, music, and all the gossip in one place. It's
the celebrities goop on Star one oh five point seven.
Good morning. We're going to start with another accuser stepping
forward against Smokey Robinson. This newest sexual battery allegation claims
the Motown singer once grabbed this man's hand and tried

(00:22):
to force it onto one of Smokey's areas. Smokey being
sued by now four Jane Does, claiming they used to
work as housekeepers for the music star and his wife,
and now two more alleged victims want to join the suit,
a fifth Jane Doe and a John Doe. The guy
claims that Smokey's arousal was vivid and unmistakable during these

(00:45):
quote unquote incidents. He also claims Smokey sometimes made suggestive
gestures and remarks towards him, including beckoning him toward a
nearby room. However, this John Doe says he would reject
any and all of Smokey's advances, telling him, please, sir,
put some clothes on. Smokey's attorney wasted no time to

(01:05):
come out with a statement saying these plaintifs are part
of the same group of people who have conspired together
against the Robinsons and are layering out their claims for
maximum adverse publicity. We've already explained and the Robinson's lawsuit
against this group for defamation, civil conspiracy, and elder abuse
that all along, it's been an organized campaign to extract

(01:26):
money from the eighty five year old legend. Blake Lively's
battle with Justin Baldoni just got even more personal. Legal
documents have a federal judge ordering it ends with US
producer Jimmie Heath to turn over all footage of his
wife Natasha's home birth, which apparently happened on set without warning.

(01:48):
So in the explosive six page document, the judge said
they must produce the birth video within days. This decision
comes after Lively moved to sanction Heath for failing to
hand over the footage she says is a very important
part of her lawsuit against Baldoni. Lively accuses Heath of
approaching her and her assistant on set before allegedly playing

(02:10):
a clip of a fully nude woman with her legs
spread apart. This all kind of layers in what Blake
said was a very very toxic work environment that Justin
Baldoni knew as a director and co star, was going
on the problem here. A lot of fans are pointing out,
I mean, would you want your home birth as part
of public record? However, according to Lively's attorneys, this is

(02:33):
going to be a very big win for her. Finally,
Nicki minaj making history as the first female rapper to
address the UN yesterday. She joined the prestigious view who
have been able to address the body, given credit where
credit was due, telling President Trump, thank you for setting
the stage. Minaje was apparently invited to the UN on

(02:54):
behalf of the US Ambassador to the United Nations, Mike Waltz,
after she liked and reply to a tweet from the
President who has been talking about the very serious situation
unfolding for Christians in Nigeria who are being murdered for
their faith. While she admits she was very nervous, she
took a very strong stance that action needs to be taken.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
It is an honor to stand on this stage with
you and the other distinguished speakers here today to shina
spotlight on the deadly threat faced by thousands of Christians
in Nigeria.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Later in the speech, Minage did thank her fan base
for being a pillar of rock and strength, also reiterating
she's not taking sides politically, but this is something we
all need to be paying attention to. Got the full

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
