Feelin Good - Hope for High School Parents

Good morning at Schmidty and this viral video makes me
feel so much better because, as a mom of young kids,
the high school years terrify me. I know they're coming,
I know they're going to be coming fast. But this
is such a sweet moment. There's a small high school
in Monroe, Ohio, and their teachers came up with a

brilliant idea place a microphone in the middle of one
of their busiest hallways and a sign attached that simply says,
tell us something good that happened today. These high school
students showed up with some serious perspective.

I will up at a good time today for school play.
Missed the buns. Someone told me them my hair looked
really pretty today. There was a new girl at school
today and I think I made a new friend. So yeah,
I got one hundred percent on my German test today.
I think the best part of my day today was
seeing all my teachers like come to school and be

happy to see us and like smiling plea.

Ways of a lotties. This morning, I finally got a girlfriend.

A good thing that happened to me today was ms
Gate's complement of art work. I got to sleep in
until like noon yesterday and I watched a movie with
my mom. It is a really good day.

I mean, are you kidding me? It's amazing And the
teachers were so incredibly moved by this. Adam Markham is
head of communications for the Monroe Local School District, and
he said it was such a great idea, adding, we
see these kids every day, but when you stop and
actually listen to them, really listen, it reminds you what
