is not the case. Instead, it is a giant police
ems and fire parade for Josh Corey. On his fifteenth birthday.

The Byron Center team was attending a recent Shields of
Hope event in Jennison when he asked for a very
interesting wish and got way more than just that. Hundreds
of people from family members to classmates to teammates, showed
up last Thursday to surprise him, an endless receiving line
of people giving him hugs, wishing him a happy birthday,

dropping off presents. And I gotta tell you, Josh really
deserves this because he has had quite a fight. The
freshman at Byron Center High School, who plays football, hockey
and also does crafts and collects coins, has been nattl
eng lymphoma. His parents say they are I'm just so
proud of how strong he has been during this journey,

telling thirteen nine your side. He's got great resolve. He's
so strong. We are proud of how he handles himself
through this. Sometimes he's the rock that we lean on.
It's pretty incredible. As part of Shields of Hope's ceremony,
Josh was presented with several Challenge coins and invited to
sign the Shields of Hope vehicle the parade the cherry

on top. We love it, Josh. We are fighting right alongside.
