We go in three two one.I heart communities. Here. We are
live at the Crazies at Foxwoods, and I'm here with Andy Goot. Now,
Andy, you are from stone Row, Kitchen and Bar, Windham County
finalist. Congratulations, How does thisfail? Feels awesome? Feels awesome to
be back here. I know we'vebeen in a few different categories through the
(00:22):
years. So it's what I appreciatethe most is they put the cras put
different counties on the map now,so there's not just us here tonight,
but three other or two other restaurantsfrom the town of Wyndham actually Willemantick here
as well. So it's really excitingto be among my neighborhood peers, among
(00:42):
the whole industry in Connecticut as well. Tonight. People are getting loud and
excited as we are live here atFoxwoods. It is the craziest, so
it's time to get loud. ButI was just going to say, and
you brought up a good point WyndhamCounty. I mean, that's incredible to
be recognized. People sometimes don't thinkabout all the great spots go to in
our state. So the northeast partof Connecticut historically has been called the quiet
(01:07):
corner, and I think there's anew breed of business folks and industry people
and really being led a lot bythe hospitality industry of making it the not
so quiet corner. I know inmy neighborhood in Willhelmantick, we have seen
a huge surgeence of restaurants opening upin the last five years. I opened
(01:29):
my first restaurant in town when Iwas twenty four years old plown. I'm
going on about fourteen years in town, so it's really been this momentum that's
been started in our neighborhood and inWyndham in general. COVID actually kind of
did us some favors. I've metchefs from Boston that have relocated to the
northeast part of Connecticut. I've metchefs from the Martha's Vineyard. So we're
(01:51):
growing, really starting something new inthe area. All right, Romantic Willeman
sick, let's go all right,Andy good now he is from stone Roll
Kitchen and bar Winham County finalists. We wish you nothing but the best of
luck and continued success. Appreciate it, thank you, thank you.
