Speaker 1 (00:00):
Let me just give you the outlines of what you're
about to hear, and then we'll we'll roll it. There's
a House Oversight Committee meeting last night. It was during
a mark up to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in
contempt of Congress, and things got chippy and they got personal,
and this chaos went on for nearly an hour. Whoa wow, man,

(00:24):
you're screaming over another and hurling insults left and right.
I would really like to get the entire hours tape
and listen to me.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Oh, I'll do that today. I'm sure it's on YouTube.
C Span caught it somewhere.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
As poor James Comer struggled to maintain order. So the
madness culminated Thursday night. I'm quoting a Hill Now, that's
good riding writing with a vote on whether or not
to allow. Oh, I'm sorry, I'm jumping ahead to I shouldn't.
They were talking about Merrick Garland, whether they hold them
in contempt. And this is around the letting out the
audio tape stuff, because that's a big deal. Yes, from

(01:00):
her interviews right right, and Joe Biden did the whole
executive I'm president. I'm not going to let them loose thing,
which I got to believe they're pretty damaging. So anyway,
I hope they come out all right. So Round one
of Me and Girls of Congress is going to feature
poor James Comer, AOC and MTG. Wait a minute, wait

(01:22):
a minute, Wait a minute, Wait a minute, wait a minute. No,
that's out of order, that's out of chronological order. We
got to go with fifty two first. What order are
these things in? That doesn't matter, all right, let's go
with fifty two first. This is MTG Representative Crockett, whose
act I'm not familiar with, NAOC fifty two.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
I'd like to know if any of the Democrats on
this committee are employing Judge Mershawn's daughter.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
What it has to do with Mary Garland? Do you
do you know what we're here for.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
I think you're fake eyelashes are messing up on I
know that.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
That is absolutely unacceptable.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
How dare you.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Are your feelings?

Speaker 5 (02:01):
Her?

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Oh girl, baby girl? Oh really, don't even play baby girl.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
We are gonna so I recognize some of the voices.
So that was Marjorie, not now Marge. Trump said, So
that was Marjorie saying, your fake eyelashes are getting in
the way right said that to Congresswoman Crocket and then
AOC leaped to that person's defense. Was the Chansamin Crockett
of Texas, she of the fake eyelashes? Yes, AOC was

(02:29):
pissed off. Was she the one yelling girl, baby girl?

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Yes? That is correct. And I tell you what we
this all came together since this was broke late last night.
But I just want the raw tape. I appreciate the edit,
but man, hearing it, hearing it unfold in real time
is fun. It's crazy that it happened in congress. Okay.
So after that little exchange, there was a long argument

(02:54):
whether Marjorie Taylor green should be allowed to speak anymore
in the committee. And we'll go with fifty. This is
comer A O C and MTG that Miss Greene agrees
to Strocker words. I believe. Hold on, then after, mister Perry,
you will be recognized in mister I'm not apologized. I

(03:14):
am not apologizing. Let's go, come on, guys, why don't
you debate me, mister chairman the minority.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
You're not you're not you don't have enough intelligence.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Chre recognizes mister Perry. Okay, Lady's words again, that's.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
Two requests to strike.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
That's two requests to show they cannot take the words.
I'm sorry, I'm sorry, we're as sending women's right to vote. Right,
it was a mistake. Yeah, not that. There isn't plenty
of jackassery and depauchery and dishonesty among the fellas. We

(04:00):
can't have that. And here's where it gets even better.
This is Jasmine Crockett, Democrat of Texas, on the offense.

Speaker 6 (04:09):
I'm just curious, just to better understand your ruling. If
someone on this committee then starts talking.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
About it, you know what, I'm sorry, shut that down.
That needs the context. Okay. So then they were fully
into the should MTG be allowed to speak thing, which
included deliciously Lauren Bobert, oh Republican who's butted heads with
Green in the past, sitting two seats away from Green
and being one of a couple of Republicans to vote

(04:36):
that yet she should shut.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Up, right, Lauren Bobert, and have really gotten into it,
even though they're both Republicans.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Right right, Okay, so let's see the back and forth
prompted a short pause. When they resumed, Green said she
would agree to strike her words, Cortes AOC demandaged she apologized.
We heard that you're not apologizing. Why don't you debate me?
Don't have enough intelligence? Okay, all right? Uh Okazia. AOC

(05:07):
quickly moved to strike the intelligence comment, which the Georgia
Republican agreed to, but again she said she would not apologize,
sparking more chaos. You'll never get an apology out of me.
I don't know you. One more disorder, ensued minislator when
Crockett asked if a hypothetical comment would break congressional protocol.
So comer had ruled, I guess that one of Green's

(05:30):
comments didn't break congressional protocol. And blah blah blah, and
so Crockett starts throwing out hypotheticals, and this is what
it sounded like.

Speaker 6 (05:39):
I'm just curious, just to better understand your ruling. If
someone on this committee then starts talking about somebody's bleach blind,
bad built, bush body that would not be engaging in personalities.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Correct, Oh what.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
Now, Chairman, I make a motion to strike those I
don't think that's all one part of it.

Speaker 6 (06:00):
To find clarification on what quire you said, We're.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Not gonna we're not gonna do this like you guys earlier.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Literally just you just.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Order to get clarification.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
Look, get calm down, calm down, no, no, no, because
this is what I don't do. Procket, you're not recognized,
carry with you don't want mom down?

Speaker 3 (06:25):
No, please call twn me to calm down. How's y'all top?
And then you're out of control?

Speaker 4 (06:31):
Is it?

Speaker 1 (06:35):
So? Uh?

Speaker 2 (06:38):
I need so much more of that. That was That
was pretty clever moved by Crockett. Okay, so you're gonna
let it fly the whole eyelash comment, fake eyelashes comment. Okay,
let's see what flies and what doesn't fly? How about
your whole whatever?

Speaker 5 (06:52):
That was bleeds blonde, bad butch body really really clever,
and that Marjorie Taylor Green doing the thing that a
lot of people like her do.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
They're the ones that amped it up. And then what
when you match their intensity? Hey, everybody calmed down here,
this is getting out of control. Wait a second.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
That was actually a different congresswoman saying, hey, calm down,
everybody calmed down. She was trying to restore her Hey.
MTG is a jackass, all right, She's a bomb chucker
and a jackass and everyone knows it. Tried to toss
the speaker out for cooperating with the Democrats, and to
toss him out. She got lots and lots of Democrat votes,

(07:33):
although the Democrats told her to go to hell. You're
just a bomb chucker anyway.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Now you think if you lean right and you think
she's making your brand better, you are just wrong.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. If I come and talks about her,
y'all gonna have a problem. Crockett said, I don't know
what you're why you're acting like that. It's not cute,
Lena responded. Then Jamie Raskin decided to weigh in, saying,
and I can't stand Jamie Raskin. He is a dishonest
part of in prick. Wow. I appreciate him saying this.

(08:03):
He he revived the motion to adjourned the procedings, saying,
I think these seventeen hour days might not work for us.
Something not working, something about working. Huh, responded. So this
was the end of a very very very long day,
partly long because a number of the Republicans on the
committee were in Manhattan appearing outside the courtroom in matching

(08:24):
outfits like they're the Jersey Boys. So then Dan Goldman,
Democrat of New York joined the conversation. Yeah, maybe show
up for a vote. He responded a parent reference to
Luna missing the vote to be in at the trial.
Luna shot back, calling Goldman a trust fund kid. Well,
that's personal.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
It's it's hard to believe that people like I was
gonna throw out a couple of names, various Congress people
like Mike Rodgers have decided to leave Congress. Like super smart,
very serious, very knowledgeable people that are on various committees.
It's hard to believe that they've decided to just leave
in the middle of terms long list of them, rather

(09:08):
than be involved in this sort of stuff like let
us hear.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
The first part of fifty one again.

Speaker 6 (09:13):
I'm just curious, just to better understand your ruling. If
someone on this committee then starts talking about somebody's bleach blonde,
bad built, butsh body that would not be engaging in personalities, correct, what.

Speaker 4 (09:26):
Now, Chairman, I make emotion to strike those.

Speaker 6 (09:32):
I don't think that's all trying to find clarification on
what qual.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Said.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
We're not gonna We're not going to do this like
you guys earlier.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
Literally just you just voted.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
Voted trying to getation, look at calm down, calm down, No, no, no,
because this is what I don't trying to get. You're
not recognized, don't want mom down, Please call down, help
me to calm down.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
How's y'all talk? And then you're out of control?

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Boy, that was a pretty good phrase. She unleashed. There
bleach blonde.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
Leash, blonde, bad built, butch body.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
That's pretty good.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
Oh really.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
And everyone knows it. Oh my god, oh boy. Women,
Women get verbally nastier than dudes quicker. Maybe it's because girl,
baby girl. Maybe it's because guys are more likely to
turn to fists, which you know, words are better than violence,
but rather than get into the intricate insults.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
Leash blonde, bad built, butch body.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
Yeah, well, your fake eyelashes are getting away. You're reading
what now what? I have no idea what you just said?
So I haven't.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
I need to find a picture of this crocket woman.
What does she look like? Does she have obviously fake eye?
And then AOC who has naturally beautiful eyelashes.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
Leaps to her defense. Well, right, which was really charitable
of her. Miss Crockett is an African American lady who,
like many women airs, wears false eyelashes.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
Sure, but is she like over the top ridiculous looking
or just like a normal looking person.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
Gosh, I don't know. I don't really have an opinion
on the topic. I don't have a picture in front
of me, for one thing. Yeah, I'll go to this,
uh my opinion on her face. She's a completely normal
looking person. I just I'm looking at a picture, and
even if even if she weren't, if she was wearing
unusually long eyelashes with that justified taking shots in front
of Congress.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
No, I'm just I was just trying to figure out
if she's like a normal looking person. Yeah, she's a
completely normal looking person and very attractive. I was just
wondering if she's got kind of, like you know, Dolly
Parton over the top thing going now or not? And
you're right either way, it's not really needs to be
part of the congressional record.

Speaker 3 (11:57):
Don't even play.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Don't even play, man. Oh wow, that is old. Baby girl,
baby girl, girl, baby. I just let there are no
sea bombs dropped.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
How many new low moments have we had in the
last several years. I mean, we just out lower ourselves
time after time.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
Again. Yeah, I commented and stand by my words that
the current Trump trial in Manhattan is one of the
low moments in American history.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Oh really, Oh sure, the last week, the stormy testimony
with the positions and the condoms and stuff like that,
that was a low moment. And this is a low
moment yesterday, and we'll have another one next week. And yeah, yeah,
bleech blonde, bad butch body.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
It's pretty good.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
Blonde, bad built butch body.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
Oh, bad built butcher body. What now?

Speaker 5 (12:50):
Oh what?

Speaker 2 (12:50):
No, this is not good. I liked him good. I
liked him trying to drag a repeat out of it.
I thought that was a pretty good showmanship. Right there.

Speaker 1 (13:00):
You think that's what he was going through? Was he
just not paying attention? I'm not sure.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Now, I'm not sure everybody caught that. Let's say that again,
get closer to the microphone. That's some entertaining stuff right there.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
You could be right. I have a feeling comer's about
out of patience with old MTG Oh Boy, Armstrong and
