Speaker 1 (00:02):
Chris Ray told me that shortly after his speech last week,
one of the leaders of the Chinese Communist Party pronounced
that his speech was particularly disgusting. I told him that
I was going to aim today to be despicable, but
I'll settle for a specially disgusting. Wow. Attorney General Barr

(00:26):
yesterday noted comedian William Barry, putting aside the the the
the attempted humor there um, I appreciated his message. Oh,
he thought Chris Ray was harsh. Sit down China. Well,
I'm glad we're calling Yeah, no kidding, I'm glad we're

(00:48):
calling China out for what it is, or just or
just calling the state of the world out for what
it is. Uh, China has been what it is for
quite a while, but for some reason we haven't said
it out loud. Let's list into a little more of
the Attorney General yesterday and then and then some comments
justice consequential, however, are the p r c s plans
to dominate the world's digital infrastructure through its Digital Silk

(01:12):
Road initiative. I have previously spoken at length about the
grave risks of allowing the world's most powerful dictatorship to
build the next generation of global telecommunications networks, known as
five G. Perhaps less widely known are the p r
c s efforts to surpass the United States in other

(01:34):
cutting edge fields, like artificial intelligence through innovations such as
machine learning and big data. Artificial intelligence allows machines to
mimic human functions, such as recognizing faces, interpreting spoken words,
driving vehicles, and playing games of skill, much like chess

(01:56):
or even more the more complex Chinese game of go.
In two thousand seventeen, Beijing unveiled its Next Generation Artificial
Intelligence Plan, a blueprint for leading the world in AI
by two thousand thirty. Whichever nation emerges as the global

(02:16):
leader in AI will be in the will be best
position to unlock not only it's considerable economic potential, but
a range of military applications, such as the use of
computer vision to gather intelligence. General Barr said yesterday, I'm sorry,
Attorney General Barr said yesterday. He warned that the Communist

(02:39):
Chinese Party has launched an economic blitzkrieg to topple the
US from its purchase the world's superpower, laying out the
threat as the most important issue of this century and
calling for the free world to join together in a
whole of society approach against it, which is an interesting
term because that's what the FBI Director Ray said a
week ago, that China has a whole of society effort

(03:01):
going on right now to become the lone superpower by
whatever means necessary, which is important phrase. Bar also said
how the United States response to this challenge will have
historic implications and will determine whether the United States and
it's liberal democratic allies will continue to shape their own
destiny or whether the communist Chinese Party and its autocratic

(03:22):
tributaries will control the future. It's a battle for the world,
it absolutely is, and China knows that. I'm reminded of
what positive Sean is said about fisticuffs. Generally, the guy
who wins the fight is the guy who realizes first
we're gonna fight. There's no talking our way out. We're
about to throw dogs. And China is fully aware that

(03:45):
it is in a fight, um not necessarily one that
we would like to be in. In fact, for decades
we tried not to be in a fight with China,
but they've made it infinitely clear. Every inch you give
we will take, we will exploit and and to your
detriment the roots. Yeah, the United States is just like
I would be in the in this situation that China

(04:09):
runs in, is like, I'm going to be the badass
here and I'm going to control everything and do everything.
I would be like the United States. No, no, no,
that we're civilized people. This isn't going to happen. There's
not going to be a fight there. No fight will
be of course, and he has held bent on yes,
we are going to fight, and I'm thinking, no, that
wouldn't actually happen. Surely that'd be crazy if we're fighting

(04:30):
in this establishment, that that wouldn't happen. It was nightmarish
to me, an idiotic and impossible to understand that Europe
in particular was so soft on letting China install their
communications and it shows how money talks. Oh yeah, yeah
it does. But it's just it's astounding to me. But
then you know, I've got to I'm trying to be fair.

(04:53):
I suppose with virtually everybody in the US went along
with the idea that if we engage economic with China,
they will reform, they'll become more open. Inevitably, by interacting
with us, more information will get to their people. They
will become good folks. Everybody. I believe that, Nixon believe,
everybody believe that. And so you know, if Bojo and
Britain and France are a little late to the party,

(05:14):
I suppose it can't be too harsh about it. But
at this point, China's shown their cards, They've made the speeches.
It's it's infinitely clear what their goals are. So the
idea that until and it was the damn bad flew
that that that made Bojo and the Brits mad, the
Chinese handling of the coronavirus. It wasn't just their evil

(05:35):
nature in general. And I suppose, you know, whatever got
them there I should be glad for. But I'm like,
you had to have the bad fever thing to realize
China's evil. That is,
