There is a story out about how Gavin Newsom had somewhat of a shocking interaction with an employee at Target. Sounds like he was blaming Target for the theft and not the policies in his state.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
And then you've got this situation with the arrest people,
and then you let them out right about their way,
and they go out and commit crimes again. I was
watching MSNBC today and they were all in agreement, this
doesn't work. These people should not be out. This is crazy,
even though even the Reverend Al Sharpton said, look, it's
our communities that pay the price more than anybody else.

(00:22):
We're the more likely the victims of crime. And they
catch people and they're right back out committing the crimes again.
So this say is precisely what we quote evil racists
have been saying precisely. So that's two different stupid end
of civilization's blue policy, sanctuary cities and letting people out
instead of holding them when you arrest them. The third

(00:45):
one is the ridiculousness of you can steal up to
one thousand dollars and nobody's going to arrest you, will
prosecute you.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
You can't prosecute our way out of this.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
There's another da somewhere that said that yesterday, we can't
prosecute ourselves out of this situation.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Why not of the social injustice? Why not?

Speaker 1 (01:03):
How about we try anyway? So this is Gavin Newsom,
the governor of California. He was on a zoom call
that was going to be public. But as you you've
we've all been on zooms. Before the zoom gets going,
everybody's sitting around on zoom and he he didn't know
somebody was recording this. So this was before the part
that was supposed to be heard by everyone, and somebody

(01:24):
was recording his conversation. I think the audio is good
enough on this. Gavin Newsom telling this story, it's pretty interesting.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Interesting.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Let's listen, said, sir, you dropped this, and he comes back,
picks it up and keeps walking out. As we're checking out.
The woman says, oh, he's just walking out. He didn't
pay for that. I said, well, why are you stopping him?
She goes, oh, the governor sort of got a true story.
My mom's great. The governor lowered the threshop. There's no
there's no there's no accountability. No, I said, it's just

(01:54):
not true. She got I said, we have the tenth
of its nine or fifty dollars a ten tuppets in America,
because you know what I was talking. But by the way,
it's the tenth toughest in America.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Look it up.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
No one gives a damn right. And I said, it
is not true. There's still stopped. He said, well, we
don't stop them because of the governor.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
So I should have set this up better.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
He's at a target in Sacramento and the person doesn't
recognize him, and somebody walks out the door having solen
stuff right there in front of the clerk and the
governor who's just checking out at the target. And the
governor claims, he said, why doesn't somebody stop him? Can't
because of the governor, And then they get into that conversation,
and then Gavin Newsom hits him with this stat this

(02:38):
can't be true. The California has the fourth toughest limit.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Think he said tenth, didn't he? I thought it was fourth.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
But regardless, toughest limit on stealing in America. There's something
wrong with that. Somebody who knows more about this fixed that.
What's going on there with that spin text line four
five KFTC Because it was a lot lower for what
counted as a big crime. Not that many years ago,

(03:07):
we raised it to almost one thousand dollars and crime exploded. Yeah,
shoplifting specifically, Yeah, Uh, Gavin goes on with his story and.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Then she goes She looks at me twice, and then
she freaks out. She calls everyone over and wants to
take photos. I'm like, no, I'm not taking a photo.
We having a conversation, where's your manager? Are you blaming
the governor? And it was, you know, three hundred and
eighty dollars later, and I was like, why am I
spending three hundred eighty dollars? Everyone can walk the hell
right out? Not fair? And I'm hear him, Yeah, it's

(03:42):
my target bigger.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
So that's Gavin Newsom saying what we say all the time.
Why am I paying three hundred and eighty dollars for
my stuff here at Target when other people can walk
right out the door?

Speaker 4 (03:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Are you new to this story? Do you follow anything?
Do you read the paper? Do you My jaw is
hanging open? This has been going on endlessly four years.
Are you this is a serious question.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Is he not aware of the six Walgreens that have
closed in San Francisco where he used to be the mayor,
because this is so rampant, because so many things have
been stolen?

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Does he not know that?

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Well, I'm saying no, you're not gonna take a picture.
You're gonna get me the manager, blah blah blah, and
and the idea of the powerful, rich government official having
been told how it is in the hood by somebody
who lives in the hood, tells them you're wrong.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
I'll tell you how things are in the hood. Oh wow,
I bet it was the target over on Broadway.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
If I was gonna guess that target's a little sketch,
and uh.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
It's get fluted every week on Broadway, and.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
It's not that far from the Capitol. But uh, for
him to act like that's shocking. They just walked out
the door where it's the manager. Why am I paying
for stuff? If people can just walk up the door.
That sounds to me like he's unaware that this is
a has closed down so many businesses, that's why everything's
locked up. Have you noticed that when you go to

(05:11):
buy your razors for your smooth, smooth, handsome face, that
you gotta have somebody come over with a key to
unlock them.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Has that been sunk in at all now?

Speaker 4 (05:20):
As people do that for him, Well problem, Well, slap
my ass and call me Sally.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
I don't know what to say.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
That's one of the most astonishing things I have ever
heard in my long, bitter career.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Well, what's your what's your guess?

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Is he pandering even on the private zoom call before
it gets started? Is he pandering to those people acting
like he was standing up for what's it? What get
your manager? That guy just walked out the door with
stolen goods? Why would I pay if they can walk out? Yeah,
everybody's screaming at that at the top of their lungs.
I mean, I'm sure you never watched Fox, But okay,
have you ever on Twitter? Have you seen these videos
of people going into stores with their arms and just

(05:53):
scooping products into a giant bag and walking out the door.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Are you unaware of all this? They're locking up?

Speaker 4 (06:00):
That's right, quote unquote Reverend al Two possibilities Number one,
he is that out of touch strikes me as unlikely,
I mean astoundingly unlikely. Possibility Number two Gavy doing what
Gavy does very well and will do when he is

(06:23):
the presidential nominee, talk about these problems are outrageous, and
we are applying innovative and energetic solutions to solving them.
I won't put up with this shoplifting in California.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Neither should you.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
LARPing that the very things his policies have caused have
outraged him and came from elsewhere somehow might have been
space aliens. And then he is the great hero that
has now ridden into town and we save the townspeople.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
That has been his act. What did he do that
on recently? Well, it doesn't on homelessness all the time. Yeah,
what the hellses drive down the street and see all
these Oh, what the hell is going on?

Speaker 4 (07:02):
And counties need to act?

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Oh lord, you're full at s.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
And it was, you know, three and eighty dollars later,
and I was like, why am I spending three hundred
eighty dollars? Everyone can walk the hell.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Right out right? Yeah? Yeah. We have been screaming this
for quite some time.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
As the person taunted Katie and others in line the
other day, y'all in line are suckers.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
This s be free.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
So this is news to him that this is the
people do this or he is a very smart Paul
and his people have realized, all right, this is a
huge liability. We need to start getting video and photo
and quotes from you of how it's outrageous and you're
the man who's working to solve the problem that again
has been visited upon you by forces that shall not

(07:50):
be named.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Next, we're going to see a video of him tackling
a shoplifter.

Speaker 4 (07:56):
You're right, Michael, something like that, Why am I paying
three in our eighty dollars?

Speaker 2 (08:00):
When that guy gets to walk out the door? That
is rich?

Speaker 4 (08:04):
You know?

Speaker 3 (08:04):
Three dollars later and I was like, why am I
spending three hundred eighty dollars? Everyone can walk the hell
right out.

Speaker 4 (08:10):
It's no wonder why his friend's wives sleep with him.
Dude has balls like coconuts. Wow are women attracted to that?
Was that like a nermcessarily frank?

Speaker 2 (08:21):
It's time for frank talk enormous like circus freak sized testes?
Is that a thing?

Speaker 3 (08:26):
Women?

Speaker 2 (08:27):
It's a metaphor? You know what a metaphor is? Good? God,
which is it?

Speaker 4 (08:34):
It can't He can't be that unaware that that can't be.
I know he's rich and he doesn't shop for himself.
He's not been at the Walgreens near the radio ranch
where you can't buy anything worth more than eight cents
without having somebody unlock it for you. That can't be
where's the manager? Somebody just stole.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
I'd like to know what, du geez.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
If it's not Target, I'm thinking of that he probably
went to. I wonder how many times a day that happens.
It'd be a lot. I'm guessing a d
