Speaker 1 (00:00):
I've heard young leaders talk with me about a term
they've coined called climate anxiety, right, which is fear of
the future and the unknown of whether it makes sense
for you to even think about having children, whether it
makes sense for you to think about aspiring to buy
a home. But what will does climate be?

Speaker 2 (00:20):
She's that college speaking to her and running into young
people who are suffering from what they call climate anxiety,
and that's why they can't get married and have kids
and move out of their parents' basement.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
There is another broad description of the right and left. Right,
I think you, ah, oh, God, a ton of eyes
before I even get to my cerebral point.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
Can we all agree her voice is just impossible to.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Sake right a misogyny because you don't like a strong woman,
particularly a particularly a strong woman of color. I'd like
a strong woman of color to walk up to her
and tell her you're a bad vice president.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
Anyway, I think this is probably true. People on the left.
You saw this, and part of it was a Trump
arrangement syndrome, but you saw it during COVID. People on
the left like being afraid because they can turn to
each other and do that whole collectivist thing. Whereas people
on the right would just as soon say I'm good,

(01:22):
I can handle this, we can are you good, I'll
help you if you need it. But you seem to
be doing fine. They have climate things right, right.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
So I just I want to know how how true
is that? I mean, you are, if you're a if
you're a twenty year old today, you have been told
in every class you've ever taken from kindergarten that that's
the biggest threat to mankind. And they work it into
every class, whether it's math or band. Right, So I
could see how you'd end up in a position where
you'd think it was a big deal and you look
around you and say, adults don't seem to be reacting

(01:56):
to this the way at the crisis that is. So
maybe you do have climate anxiety. That's pretty sad. If
you're I no doubt it. If you're not having kids
or getting married because of climate anxiety, holy crap. And
again I roughly think about it never, So I mean,
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Yah.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
People tend to hang around others like themselves. So I
did know one guy that brings up climate change every
time I talk to him, every time. It has for
how long have I known him fifteen years? And that's
just that's just this, And I just wonder, does he
represent a big chunk of America that I just don't
brush up against that Often just every conversation ends up

(02:34):
being by it getting worse, isn't it? What's getting worse?
The climate change? You see that thing the other day
about the oh this again, they had an inch ofvrain
in Boston. All right, wow, wow, here's another broad generalization
for you, as as it appears to be my theme today.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
I'm look at an issue and who's advocating for what,
And note how many times the big left issues call
for more centralized power climate change. For instance, the UN
is cooking hard, fast with hot grease toward their whole

(03:15):
there's seventeen grand goals. Better not be a gas stove
they're cooking with, right.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Cooking on an electric stove for that.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
But the UN is working with the left in many
countries on centralizing the power over energy, the energy sector,
climate decisions, et cetera. It's all about centralizing power.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Well, that's what I wondered. So Zelensky brought up climate
change yesterday, and I thought, so, are you concerned with
all the things you see every day and deal with
And I saw you in sixty minutes. Do you think
about climate change? Or did he just think these people
if I act like I'm on board with climate change,
I'm more likely to get help. Is that what he
was thinking?

Speaker 3 (03:56):
I think it's worth reminding yourself that the best and
brightest in other countries are probably as bright as our
best and brightest or damn near and yees. So he's
he's asking his advisors, all right, what levels do what
levers do I pull to increase support among this faction
in the developed democracy.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
I mean he wants well, you know, in fact, the
more I think about it my own point, it makes
more sense. He wants to be in the EU. He
wants to be in NATO. You know how you get
into the EU you act like climate change is the
biggest thing in the world.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Yeah, yeah, you do the EU dance.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Sure of course, this is the dance.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
That's it.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
That's one of the generally you're wearing clogs. But yeah, right, Michael, Michael,
I love that as much as I hate it.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Young people today are coming up and talk to me
about climate anxiety and that's why they can't have children
and by house.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
You people are psychos.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
What's the matter with you? You people are psycho?

Speaker 3 (04:52):
God, you'd have crumbled like a house of cards during
like not even the scary parts of our history in
nineteen ninety two, you were terrified.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
What's the matter with you?

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Get a spine?

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Yes, Michael, I was going to start a family, but
I don't like the looks of those clouds.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Right right, that's right.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
We were gonna have three kids and up in my
entire lifestyle and everything I do with the future of
my days on earth. But man, did you see that
rain in Pittsburgh yesterday? I don't think i'd better or
the wildfire in Mesopotamia. There's no way we can have
another child. Honey, Oh my god, I'm back.

Speaker 4 (05:36):
The time for us to take break to get to
mailbag is the time that we do it every day.
That time is now.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Good Bye.
