It's like.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
It never happened. Thursday, November fourteen. We were saying this earlier.
It's like.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Certain songs just they put you in a place, they
remind you of a certain That's why.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
That's honest to god, what I love so much about music.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
I can remember being in a certain room with my
brother watching a new episode of Full House, just being
so hype, and.
Speaker 4 (00:49):
I feel like these have come on Friday nights, right yep?
Tg yeah yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
In our age, the TGIF lineup was crazy because it
was like Full House, Step Step, Family Matters, Sister Sister.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Perfect Strangers was on there.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
I don't remember Perfect Strangers.
Speaker 4 (01:08):
You don't remember perfect I do because I'm in my
mid forties, but as younger than Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
Yeah, they changed the line.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
Then what's the one where it started out?
Speaker 3 (01:18):
Where they were on step by step?
Speaker 4 (01:21):
But there was the one with a family, right, They
were like a big family family.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
I mean, listen, there was nothing better than coming home
on a Friday night when you were younger and watching TJF.
The kids these days, they'll never know about that because
they're rushing home to watch Stranger Things that has dropped
on Netflix and they can watch the whole season and
just binge.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
But the Tanner's was such were such a good family.
You wanted them just to be your You wanted.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
You wanted Bob Saget Danny Tanner to be your dad.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
You wanted to sleep with Uncle Jesse.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
You wanted your sisters to be you know, Steph.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
And DJ, even though DJ is kind of annoying. You
wanted your neighbor to be Kimmy Gibbler.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
So you missed the best, the best part of the
whole thing. Aunt Becky.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Oh yeah, you wanted to sleep with Aunt Becky. Can
you name Uncle Jesse and Becky's.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
Kids Nicholas and Alex? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Yeah, And what were what was the show's name that
Aunt Becky?
Speaker 1 (02:16):
And and easy San Francisco. Here's a harder one. What
was the name of the dog? Oh?
Speaker 3 (02:24):
My god, give me the first letter.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
It's a c.
Speaker 4 (02:27):
I think.
Speaker 3 (02:28):
Everyone's in their car screaming it a sea.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
I don't think it's common, right common?
Speaker 3 (02:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (02:34):
Wow wow thrown right now. And then obviously the icon
Uncle Joey. You wanted Uncle Joey to be your uncle.
He was the epitome of what a fun uncle looks like.
So when I heard this news yesterday, obviously my heart
heard Dave Coley are revealing that he's been diagnosed with
stage three non Hodgkin lymphoma. It is a form of
(02:57):
blood cancer. Here he is detailing how he knew. Listen,
I probably should go to the doctors.
Speaker 5 (03:03):
This is B cell lymphoma that I have. It's a
very aggressive type of lymphoma. It happened very quickly. Yonset
of this growing lymphoma in my groin area was very quick.
So I said, something's not right. I have golf ball
down here, and they said, you know, we wish we
had better news for you, but you know you have
B cell lymphoma. We need to get you into chemotherapy
(03:25):
right away.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
I I think that this is obviously more important too,
to say that the fact that he had this golf
ball and wasn't like, well, I feel fine, it's okay,
because he said, really, in the end, he just felt
a little bit of a head cold and then he
had this large lump. Some people would ignore it, yeah,
and they'd be like, I feel, okay, it's not that serious.
It's probably just a cold and whatever. I think it's
(03:49):
important that he talks about this because it did make
him go to the doctors. But he did say, listen,
I went from a head cold to cancer and I
was very overwhelm. In the last couple of weeks. He's
been going through chemotherapy, already shaved his head. He's calling
it a preemptive strike. And I didn't mention this last hour,
and I should mention it now because I thought it
was amazing.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
Uncle Jesse John Stamos immediately.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Posting a picture a real a ton of photos like
a carousel of the two of them being like, you're
my guy now, then, forever and always, I'm with you
through this and I have your back.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
I love how close they all are.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
That's amazing and the positive vibes definitely help when you're battle.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
He just talked more about it in his podcast, which
is The Full House rewinds what a podcast is called.
But yeah, I mean the thought of that, like oh
I don't feel really good. I think I have a cold,
to oh my god, I have cancer. I can't imagine.
But listen, Uncle Joey got off through our childhood. Now
it's our time to have Uncle Joey's back it out.
(04:52):
All right, let's talk Kim k This story is I
hate to say it not shocking, mainly because we all
know where Yay is.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
Like the man's in Japan a lot of the time.
He is most likely moving there.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
So he says, which means if Yay is in Japan
and the kids are in Calabasas, they're not going to
get that much time with dad. Kim sat down with
Zoe Winkler on her What in the Winkler podcast?
Speaker 3 (05:19):
Who is Zoe Winkler? You ask her?
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Dad?
Speaker 3 (05:22):
Is the Funds, the famous Funds, the.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
Fond of the legend, one of the most iconic TV
people of all time.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
Kim was asked about parenting and about you know, trying
to co parent and if it's easy or how she
deals with it, and this was her response, No.
Speaker 6 (05:37):
Matter what kind of help I have, basically raising four
kids by myself, three four or five. I had five
kids that I had to take too. Came over, and
everyone leaves it wants to leave at like different times
or wants different stuff. And I'm like, I feel like
I'm at like a pit stop of a race car
driver when it's like rush your teeth, rush your tea,
(05:59):
rush youre tea. Always a lot of judgment or people
always will jump to the oh, but you have the
resources to have nanny's and to have help, And.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
I just think that, you know, no matter what kind
of help, I.
Speaker 6 (06:12):
Have, basically raising four kids by myself.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
She said it twice.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Yeah, she said it twice, And obviously now that's what's
trending everywhere.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
I'm raising four kids by myself. I feel the need
to say this.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
Because I thought it was it was like a little
inside info that we got when we had Brendan Shaub
on the show.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
Brendan Shab is a huge in the UFC world. He's
on a couple of different podcasts. His kids go to
school with Kanye and Kim's kids in Calabasas.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
He made it very clear that Kim is an amazing mother,
and he's like, I also want to say that Yay
is a great dad, and he told you and I
this in private when we were walking out, He's like,
Kanye's amazing with these kids when he is there, And
it wasn't like a disc by any means. It was
just like when Ya is present. Yay is present in
(07:02):
his kids life. But he's in Japan right now. He's
not here, so it's hard to be quote present, but
you can tell when the kids are with him, they
are so happy.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
To be with dad.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
But she's also said that because they're not with him consistently,
when they are with him, he's the fun parent.
Speaker 4 (07:18):
I'm surprised that he's not more present, only because Donda
meant so much to him that wouldn't he want to
kind of like pay that back towards his kids. That's
what I'm kind of shocked about.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Didn't.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
We also just read.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
Though that he bought a new house in La, So
maybe his plan is to start like splitting time between
Japan and LA. I agree with you on that, but
I also think like some of the riffs that they've
had about like what schools the kids are going to
go to and things that they're learning and if they
can have social media or not, I do think he
should be involved in those conversations. But how much of
a say should he be having if he's not here
(07:52):
to have less say.
Speaker 4 (07:53):
I think if you're around less, then I don't think
you should have as much of a say as the
mom does because she's raising them like by herself.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
And I know there was a it was a big
back and forth when North got a TikTok. He wasn't happy,
he didn't like the song she was dancing to and
all these things. But Kim's like, I'm here, you're not.
Let's don't make a joke. I know you want to
and we're gonna move on.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
And OK, yeah, I agree, because if you're not there
to enforce whatever whatever you want, like you, you can't
you can't have a say.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Yeah, And I think Kim's whole thing is like she
feels as if people are always going to hit her
with the line, well you're rich enough to have a nanny,
you're not with them all the time.
Speaker 3 (08:28):
But she's She's like, yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
Well when they're all in my bed in the morning
kicking and screaming, and everybody wants to do different things
like she she is the parents.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
Also, how can you take a guy who is seriously right.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
I'm shocked, I'm shocked that it wasn't how can you
take a guy who's kidnapped his wife seriously?
Speaker 1 (08:50):
All right?
Speaker 3 (08:50):
And lastly, I'm just gonna put this in here. It's
just I hate it.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
I absolutely hate it, but it is trending everywhere, and
it seems like the millennial girlies are into it. Because
he involved, Mark Zuckerberg gave his wife a little gift.
He said, every year for our anniversary, we listened to
Tea Pains Get Low, because that was like the first
(09:15):
song they listened to as a couple. Anyways, as a
gift for her this year, he Mark Zuckerberg linked up
with T Pain and they worked on their own version
of Get Low. I'm sorry that I'm gonna play this
for you because I hate it so much, but people
are loving it. Day six, n Dan, you're fund.
Speaker 4 (09:38):
Hoping you can sock it to me baby one more time?
Speaker 3 (09:42):
Get can loag.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
Can My mistake?
Speaker 2 (09:54):
So the song was Little John and the East Side
Boys get Low, but he worked with T Pain to
come got it. So T Pain and him sat down
and did their own version of Little John song.
Speaker 3 (10:05):
Sorry for the confusion.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
Honestly, when you're worth one hundred billion, you can do
whatever you want, like it makes it.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
It's just like, I.
Speaker 3 (10:10):
Don't know, maybe too soft for me or something.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
But it's Mark Zuckerberg. Did you it's hard?
Speaker 3 (10:15):
No, you're right, I did.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
They have a group name. I don't know if you
saw that there's z pain.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
Oh my god, make it stop.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
He's got to be paying him, right.
Speaker 4 (10:24):
That's the only way that he pain does is because
he's making I don't know that.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
We're talking about him. So maybe he's like, yeah, let's
do it. I'll be trending. But again, you're worth a
hundred billion dollars. What's give them? Somebody of a million dollars?
Speaker 1 (10:34):
Play with you?
Speaker 3 (10:34):
Get get lo well. I guess the wife loved it.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
By the way, all proceeds from the song are going
to the Save the Music Foundation.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
So there you have it.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
That is three things you need to know for Thursday,
November the fourteenth.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
