Speaker 2 (00:01):

Speaker 3 (00:03):
And Santi when you need.

Speaker 4 (00:04):
To know, no, we got you three things you need
to know on Boston's number one for hip hop and
the best throwbags. You haven't any more fives And by
the way, the first thing I did this morning forum
was tech Santi and say make it a l grande
this morning, buddy.

Speaker 5 (00:21):
Yeah, so this is I.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Will be jittery mainline my favorite.

Speaker 4 (00:27):
All right, Tuesday, Feb eleventh, let's start with Super Bowl numbers.

Speaker 5 (00:30):
They're in.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
Super Bowl fifty nine achieved its biggest audience ever. People
in average of one hundred and twenty six million viewers
watched the Eagles take on the Chiefs. Watch that blowout
two percent improvement from last year, which Neilsen reported was
the largest TV audience it had ever ever recorded.

Speaker 5 (00:48):
Viewership peaked during can you.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Guess second half?

Speaker 5 (00:51):
Second quarter?

Speaker 3 (00:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (00:53):
No, I didn't. We talked about this. The first half
of the game.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
You would think would be the most eyes just because
everyone's like up and they'll put it on.

Speaker 5 (01:00):
But I think after halftime people were like, I'm all sat.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
It was not thing.

Speaker 5 (01:04):
It was a blowout.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
Yeah, it says an average of one hundred and thirty
five point seven million viewers between eight and eight fifteen.
Seems like right around halftime ish, I guess. The company
also said there were records for streaming viewership to be
streamed the game for free and had thirteen point six

(01:25):
million viewers.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
I think the thing with this game that was good
was the storylines were so positive that you you know,
there was potential for history for the Chiefs and then
also and then you have unders. You know, like, the
storylines were awesome.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Shout out to Twoby though, smart move when trying to
get people to like register on their free you know
what I mean.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
I like, it's like my thoughts on Manchester. Like when
people ask me about Manchester, you would think that I
am a tall African man with dreads like I talked
just like Foreorn does about Manchester. So for me, tob
is like Chian because that is how Forearn has described
the shows to me.

Speaker 5 (02:00):
So when I saw, you know, they had they.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Had the NFL like literally the biggest game of the year,
I'm like, oh, so they they got TV too.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
They got TV and you know what it goes to show.
It goes to show that a lot of people don't
got cable no more.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Yeah they kept the court.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Yeah they cut that out. Did that what two years ago?
And I've never felt better. I feel free. I did.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
I do not have cable. I had like a firestick,
and I have the apps. But yeah, listen, I don't
miss I don't miss it neither. I don't think about it.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Where do you watch the news? I think that's the
only reason why I keep it.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
Well, I have a fire stick, so you can watch
the I can watch the news in any city, in
any state at any time. Like I could go to
California's news right now if I wanted to come to
Marshall Tunny, I still have it.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Get rid of that tube, I mean Twitter, dude, you
could get all the news you want from it.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
I understand that, But I like the Channel seven.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
No.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
I was that way for a very long time time.
I thought I was gonna hate it so much. I'm good,
by the way. Just a little fun fact for you
before we get to talk about the halftime show. A
Chiefs fan, I don't know if you guys saw this.
She spent thirty eight thousand dollars on four tickets for
her and her family. Thirty eight thousand dollars to see that.
If I were, I would want to slap house. I

(03:12):
would want to go up to Travis Kelsey and be like,
the hell is wrong with you?

Speaker 3 (03:15):
I think the super Bowl is a fun event, right,
but I feel like it's one of the ones that
is almost more consumable when you're sitting on your couch
amongst friends. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
I get what you're saying, but think about my dad.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
But if you have a team, I think about my.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
Dad, the Browns make the super Bowl. Yes, my brother
and I we are going to have to figure it out.
And if that man is ninety in a wheelchair at
the time, like rolling him right, I'll just push him
down the ramp like we're going so that I understand.
I mean, our boss was there. I don't know what

(03:49):
he spent in his ticket, but it wasn't. It wasn't
any less than five that's right.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
And he goes like every year it does.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
But he is he is the Chiefs, you know what
I mean. Like that's fandom and I can appreciate that. Yeah,
all right, So I'm sure you guys have seen it
by now. I saw a couple of you guys sending
it to me yesterday I didn't include it in the
news because there was already so many things to get to.

Speaker 5 (04:09):
But yes, obviously there was a.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
Man that went viral during the halftime show because he
was holding up a Sudanese Palestinian flag.

Speaker 5 (04:19):
Did we see it? We haven't seen the clip.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
Yes, So Kendrick is in the midst of his performance,
an individual gets up on stage starts holding up a flag.
People are like, what's going on. This is the craziest
part about this story to me. He was one of
Kendrick's dancers. So to think that this man the length

(04:42):
he went, he went through every single I mean how
many how many times do you think they ran through
that performance?

Speaker 3 (04:49):
Did they practice? Let's say.

Speaker 5 (04:53):
So, he went through every single practice to get to
the big game.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
He hid the flag up in his black sweatshirt, and
then as soon as they started dancing, he got out there.
The NFL said this individual hid his flag in his possession.

Speaker 5 (05:07):
And unveiled it late into the show. No one involved
with the production was aware of his intent.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
He, by the way, banned from any NFL stadiums or
events for the rest of his life.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
I was watching videos of him. There's different clips of
him and those times where production was just looking at him,
thinking that.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
There, and then he saw people coming for him, so
he started running and then he.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
Got tackled, He got taken down. He's on the car.
I didn't see the car.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
Just imagine everyone else is getting pumped up to do
their dance move.

Speaker 5 (05:41):
This man's like all right.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Time they got him.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
It was a good like he was there for a minute.

Speaker 5 (05:45):
That flag was seen.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Yeah, he was running up and down, back and forth
until someone was like, I don't think this is part
of the show.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
How many dancers do you think, Kendrick, I mean it
was a solid play. How many do I have the number?
So guess there was four hundred.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
M makes sense.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
He was one of the four hundred dancers and extras
cast for the halftime performance. Four hundred people. He got
he got lost in the sauce. He knew he was
going to.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Be given good.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
Isn't that crazy car jumped down already?

Speaker 4 (06:21):
Lastly, I'm including this in here because we talked a
lot about Twitch. Remember, Twitch took his life, and his
widow came out and she wrote the book and she
did a whole interview and his family and his friends
online were basically like she's a you know what, like,
I can't believe she would do this to him. She

(06:42):
made a sign an NDA just to come to his funeral.
She's the devil all these things, you know, when you're
talking about we just kind of had this conversation. When
you're talking about a dad and a friend and a father,
but a son, you know, you would be interested to
know what his mother has to say about this. Leave
it to our galley, Gail King. Gail was like, I'll

(07:04):
get I'll get twitch his mother.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
I'm not saying that my son was perfect. I do
believe he had experiences where he tried this, that or
the other. But no, I don't believe that there was
that type of issue, that type of problem. And don't
get me wrong, I applaud speaking about mental health awareness

(07:28):
because of course there was something going on there at
the end that we're not aware of. It's why I
applaud that. And if that was the intent of the
book to make people aware look out for these type
of science. There's a way to say that in general
without detigrating the memory and the legacy that he built

(07:48):
and that's there for his children.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
So listen, I don't think mom was against her coming
out like she said, and talking about mental health and
her grief and stuff like that. I think it was
the insinuation that he was a drug addict.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
It's tough because the mom kind of alluded to like
him trying.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
Right, so she's kind and let's be honest, he's not.
He's going to hide it from mom. Yeah, you know
what I mean.

Speaker 5 (08:10):
So I don't really know.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
But what I take is that what Shorty's saying is
the truth. And maybe Mom just felt like you should
have came to us first. Yes, we should have had
this discussion. Yeah, and then we you know, let's paint
the image of this guy as best as we can.
I think that's what mom because she's not she's not
denouncing anything that this lady's saying.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
No. And I also think she had the opportunity there
if she really wanted to to be to go off,
and she didn't.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
She definitely didn't.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
I think she's still trying to protect because she also
has grandkids. So yeah, I just even for her to
say he dabbled, yeah, that's hold.

Speaker 5 (08:46):
Yeah, all right.

Speaker 4 (08:47):
