Oh baby, oh baby, Happy Friday. Everybody, cheers to the
freaking weekend. We made it always nice to wake up
coming off of fresh victory as well. Shout out to
the Patriots. What's up? What's up for the weekend?
Speaker 6 (02:15):
Oh for the weekend.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
I love chatting about what we're doing in the weekend
at six eleven, you know what I mean, Like, oh
what do you what do you go going on?
Speaker 6 (02:22):
But I feel like for most people, you're already thinking
about where you have planned, right because it's yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
Or you've already you've already begun Tomorrow.
Speaker 6 (02:30):
The family and I are going to Tuscan Market. They
have like a little winter like I don't know, I
don't know how compare it to the seaport, but like
a setup there where there's a.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
Little show, like an outdoor market, like a market today market.
Speaker 6 (02:42):
So we're going to be doing that.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
And what'd you do without me?
Speaker 6 (02:44):
I don't know. And I assume we'll get dinner around
there too. We like the last like three months, like
the weekends have been jam packed with sports with basketball
and everything like that. So this was like one of
the first ones when we have nothing to do and
just spend.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
Some time in the area. It's called Tuscan Village right
over there.
Speaker 6 (03:00):
I think it's called Tuscanville. Was the restaurant Tuskan Kitchen
is the restaurant Tusting Village.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
Yeah, they got a ton of stuff over there. I
think Chick fil a up.
Speaker 6 (03:12):
There they do. They also have this this furniture store,
I figure what it's called. But some of the stuff
and there's like ten g's. I remember going in and like,
this couch is amazing, Johanne, let's buy this to look
at the price? Ten thousand dollars. A thousand dollars, my god, Yeah,
it was amazing. And they have an Old Navy there,
so I'll buy some clothes shopping around.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
No listen, I used to shade you, but especially now
for the kids' clothes. Old Navy's got some really nice stuff.
And I've I've bought my myself some things when I've
gone in. They got some good quality stuff.
Speaker 6 (03:45):
Honestly, if you compare some of the clothes that they
have to like some of the designer stuff, Like take
like a sweater, right, you see one like Aline, like
online from Louis Vauton. Right, they can look the same obviously,
like the other one is really nice, but the Old
Navy one is like a fraction of the price.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
Yeah, I mean I think the difference is like the
quality might be a little off, you know, like it
might scratch your skin a little bit more like yeah,
but hey, we can suck it.
Speaker 6 (04:11):
Up for a good look, but at the same time
in pictures it all looks the same.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
It's a fact, right, Yeah, what is this saying. It's like,
don't let the clothes wear you. You wear the clothes.
Just be confident.
Speaker 6 (04:20):
Yeah, And at the end of the day, I'm not
into like the logos that are on the clothes. If
it looks good, it looks good. I think one of
the worst things if a guy walks into a store,
like a Gucci shirt on a basachi, showing you look
like an idiot.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
The smaller the logo, the better. Yes, I'll say that
I'm with you on that.
Speaker 6 (04:38):
What are you doing?
Speaker 3 (04:38):
I was just trying to think I'm going out to
dinner to nights with another couple. We're going to We're
one of this place in situate that everybody has been
telling us is unbelievable. I think it's been around for
a little Hold on, I'm gonna make sure the Salt Society.
Speaker 6 (04:54):
Okay, sounds nice, that's where we're going.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
I'm looking up the reviews, like a four point six
doing well, lots of reviews.
Speaker 6 (05:03):
Sounds like a seafood place. It has the word salt.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
I think it's a combination of like sushi and modern
rustic restaurant popular for dates and lunch specializing in sushi
dishes and here's where they got me and craft cocktails.
Oh see there.
Speaker 6 (05:23):
One of the craziest things is that you don't partake
in the sushi.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
I don't.
Speaker 6 (05:28):
But have you ever really tried it?
Speaker 3 (05:29):
I'm on the website now, I mean it doesn't. Yes,
I have tried it. I don't know what kind of
role it was back back in the day. I don't.
You're right, I probably should go back and try again,
but I haven't.
Speaker 6 (05:41):
I think the people the challenge that people that people have.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
Is usually the raw because that is tough.
Speaker 6 (05:47):
It's tough mentally when you think about it, right, yes,
but once you get over that and you really like
open up, it's like sushi's amazing.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
I mean you really open up.
Speaker 7 (05:56):
You have.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
I know there's some people, like pregnant girls that for
the night months are just in absolute hell because they
can't have their sushi. I'm like, that's the last thing.
All I want was vodka. Like, I'm not thinking about
your sushi.
Speaker 6 (06:08):
Is this a couple from your town or is this
like friends?
Speaker 3 (06:10):
Yeah, this is a couple from our town. Okay on
the street, yea, they know, by the way, this isn't
like I never really My birthday was on a Tuesday,
so I never really got to kind of go out
and have a couple of drinks in celebratory fashions. So
we were my my friend and I were going to
do that anyway, and then we kind of added the
guys in and we're like, oh, let's go, let's go
do dinner. So Nana's coming over, we'll go do that.
(06:33):
I'm excited because everyone says the spy is good. And
then after that, I got nothing going on this weekend.
Speaker 6 (06:38):
Okay, which is sometimes like amazed.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
It's fine. The fireman's got work, Like we're chilling because
you know, we're gearing up for Thanksgiving, and then once
the once December hits something every weekend with these stupid
kids all the time.
Speaker 6 (06:52):
You're also going to need a nice Sunday to recover
from Saturday night. Let's just say it. No tonight, I'm
going to Oh you're going tonight? Oh good?
Speaker 3 (06:59):
And I'm not. I'm not getting dr Okay.
Speaker 6 (07:01):
Okay, I've heard that before. Hammered watch I'm not drinking
any more.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
The post is coming tomorrow, So I've been banned from
this place called Salt Society especial show When you need
to know, we got you three things you need to
know on Bustin's Number one for hip hop and the
best throwbacks you haven't any more.
Speaker 6 (07:22):
Five five A fake throws catch tab the hat trick
for Henderson.
Speaker 3 (07:35):
Friday, November fourteenth, And that's our guy, Traveon Henderson putting
on a legit show last night on the big screen.
Whis the Thursday night game. Everybody's watching three tds for
the NFL hat trick, Pats beting the Jets twenty seven fourteen,
eight straight wins some but most importantly the first NFL
(07:56):
team this season to reach nine wins.
Speaker 6 (07:59):
So there are two things that need to talk about.
The first one of the fact that the Patriots are
going to the super Bowl. The second is the reality
that Drake May might end up being the most valuable
player for the season.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
It is so cool. I'm gonna put things into perspective
for you because Mike Rabel was talking about Drake May
and him as a quarterback and just reminding all of
us that this kid has taken this team to nine
and two with one of the best records in the
NFL at the age of twenty three years old. Here's
(08:31):
Rabel on Drake Son.
Speaker 8 (08:33):
Carter's the same age as Drake. I'm thinking, my god,
I'm I old. I'm fifty, and it's just so much
fun because these guys are experiencing a lot of these
things for the first time, and so I forget that
sometimes I forget that our left side of our line
is twenty one and twenty two years old and our
quarterbacks twenty three. And it's like, yeah, okay, well where
there's gonna be a lot of first.
Speaker 7 (08:52):
For this program.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
Yeah, like, these are babies out here, but like putting
on manlike behavior.
Speaker 6 (08:58):
But if you think about their age is the good
thing is that we could be seeing this for a
long time here. That's a fact just what we need.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
Defense also looked good. It was quite the show, you know.
Like I said, I don't you don't want to throw
the S word out there and jinx it, but it's
looking closer and closer.
Speaker 6 (09:15):
I didn't reach people the jinx thing, fine, but let's
put in the atmosphere. Let's like manifest it.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
I mean, Drake May has won enough games in a
row that they're mentioning Tom in sentences and saying, like, listen,
this is the greatest wind streak since he was here.
Speaker 6 (09:29):
Now, the wind streak is all great, but this is
where it bothers me to start putting him in the
same category as Tom. Tom won Super Bowls our expectation.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
Yeah, super Bowls winning streaks are great, but yeah, I'm
with you. Once once playoff time come, the just caring
about that, Okay, everyone's back to zero to zero. Pat's
Bengals is the next game, but that's not until the
twenty third because obviously they just played and will need
a little bit of time. Nice little break, yes, nice
little break for the Pats. As much as I want
(09:58):
to say that that's the big story, had to get
that out of the way to announce to you that
we got a baby. People TMZ reporting that Carti gave
birth last week, and you know where she is, son
at the gym. She's already at the gym. I guess
they're saying she gave birth around November third, fourth time timeframe.
We are at the fourteenth. The photo of her in
(10:23):
the gym. She was out last night. So there's a company,
a stroller company by the name of Cybex and they
have their first brick and mortar in New York. Last night,
this one, this woman looks so good and she's walking
around not like she just had to push a baby
out of her.
Speaker 9 (10:39):
Sit.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
I couldn't. I can't believe what I'm seeing.
Speaker 6 (10:42):
How is that possible because I've never had a kid,
But like, how does that?
Speaker 3 (10:44):
I don't know. I don't know how she looks, how
she looks. I mean, listen, I think everybody's body, every
female's body is different, and people, you know, kind of
get back to their pre body baby in different ways.
Cardi was like, just give me five minutes, like we're
gonna be fine. She looked so good, but more so
she looked so you can see it. On her Instagram,
she posted a video of herself. I had to do
a double take to the video because I thought, oh,
(11:06):
is she posting an old video of herself? No, guys,
there's video of her at this event last night in
New York. It's not made up. She said. My life
has always been a combination of different chapters, different season.
My last chapter was the beginning of a new season.
Starting over is never easy, but it's been so worth it.
I brought new music and a new album to the world,
a new baby into my world, and one more reason
(11:27):
to be the best version of me, one more reason
to love me more than anything else or anyone else,
so I can continue giving my babies the love and
life they deserve. This next chapter is me versus me.
It's me going against all odds. She basically went on
to say she's prepping for her tour and she is
going to make sure that she gives people the best
show they've ever seen.
Speaker 6 (11:45):
I know they're in good places, but has anybody checked
on offset just to.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
Check that's not well. There's just no way well.
Speaker 6 (11:51):
Because as much as he's been tweeting some positive things
about their relations, not even.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
He's been quiet Qui, which I think is actually the
best bet for him. But yeah, Cardi had a little Patriot,
a little Patriot boy. Now we're just waiting on the name.
Speaker 6 (12:06):
Yes, you have any thoughts. It's hard with her because
her names are so different. It's hard to predict.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
You're right, they really are. Because we got Culture Wave,
Blossom and baby Boy number four Ramon. Oh there you
have it all right. We got Big Diddy news. Diddy's
prison release date, has been pushed back to June fourth,
twenty twenty eight, from its initial date of May eighth,
twenty twenty eighth. Now I did not know this, but
(12:34):
when you violate prison rules, there are certain ways in
which you have to pay your dues on that, one
of which is commissary money. Maybe you can't participate in
commissary another way they can tackle long more time to
your sentence.
Speaker 6 (12:50):
Hey, no, And you have to think about it. Is
drinking the moonshine worth the extra month that you got?
Speaker 3 (12:55):
Well that's the thing. Remember there was the rumor that
he participated and drinking a little moonshine. But there was
also the rumor that he participated in a a three
way phone call, and I think that would be the
one that they would maybe tackle on, especially if the
rumors are true that he was kind of facilitating these
conversations about public persona, what we're tweeting about me? What
people are gonna see, like, yeah, yeah, we need to
(13:17):
be with the jill and the prison. They're like, we
need to be involved in those covers. Wed to be listening.
Speaker 6 (13:21):
But I've also heard they take time off of good
behavior too, So maybe he can make this time up right.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
Well, remember his people emphasized that none of this happened.
They weren't true. They want privacy. Did He just trying
to be in there and be a better person and
all of the things. But when they changed that release date,
I think all of us were like, I can't the
three way call happened. So there you have it. You
won't be seeing did He until June fourth of twenty
(13:47):
twenty eight. That are three things you need to know
for Friday, November fourteenth. Don't forget to catch up via
the podcast because the pod is the easiest way to
see what we have been talking about all week long.
How do you get there? You down the free iHeartRadio
app you search as HLA. That's where you can get
the podcast. But while you're there, you can also listen
to Jamin and make sure you do us the Biggest favor,
(14:08):
which has add us to your number one pre second
morning Guys, Deep Breath, Good Morning, Sustain's number one for
hip hop jamming ninety four five. Hi, everybody, good morning.
I was saying to Santi earlier off air, you guys
that it's it's a very sensitive subject song for a
(14:30):
lot of women. With this whole you have a baby,
and then there's the expectation of the quote bounce back.
Every female's body, physical body is different, so I think
people's bodies react differently to pregnant, like the birth. There
are people that I've seen photos of a day after
(14:51):
giving birth that they still look like they have a
pregnant belly, and then eventually that you know, it ends,
it dissipates, and it goes away. There are some people
who give birth and five seconds later look like they
never had a pregnant bity. You just you don't know.
So of course everybody's talking about Cardi B and Cardi
and our guy Stuffan Diggs Welcome to baby Boy. At
(15:12):
a little over a week ago, Carti's already back in
the gym looking unbelievable. It's like she was out last
night in New York at Cybex USA's new brick and mortar.
Cybex is so nice. It's pricy. I have their car seat.
It is worth every singular dollar. But anyway, she was there.
(15:34):
I think she might be doing some sort of collab
with them. She didn't even look like she she had
a maybe a week and a half ago. She didn't
even look like she had three prior. You know what
I mean, Like that is how good she looked. But
some some female bodies just snap, it's nuts.
Speaker 6 (15:49):
Is there hate surrounding the type of female that's able
to bounce back faster?
Speaker 3 (15:53):
Quote unquote, there's hate surrounding the narrative that sometimes feels
pushed upon us, which is that you have to bounce
back quick. I think like there's a pressure. Yeah, And
I think people and by the way, six one seven, nine,
three one four five, ladies, if you don't think I'm
doing us a justice here, but I think there's women
(16:16):
that give birth and then the next day their husbands
are like, why do you still look pregnant? And that
type of stuff is just disgusting. And I think that's
the that's the narrative. But I myself can see I
saw Cardi in Foxborough, yeah, a week or so ago,
two weeks she then had the baby, and now I
look at her down I can happily be like, damn,
(16:37):
she looks good. Like I would never worry. She looks great.
Speaker 6 (16:40):
And I think the the the ask and the expectation
that you would put on your spouse to bounce back
quick is really crazy. Because I got to assume. And
I say this because I've never had a baby, all
the emotions, the hormones, everything that's happening in those first
few months. Even beyond that, that's a lot.
Speaker 3 (16:56):
CARDI b was probably at that Cybex event last night
with that little wearing a diaper. Yeah, like that, like
she just gave birth, Like that's how fresh things are
for her. And she's fortunate that she bounced back. Listen,
I'm jealous. She looks good. But if she didn't, if
she went to that event and she still looked like
she was right, and we would also expect that. You
just you don't know. But I think it's more so
(17:20):
people feeling a pressure as opposed to like, oh, why
did she do that?
Speaker 6 (17:26):
J Well, I can tell you. I mean in the
celebrity world, I'm sure there's extra pressure to kind of
look because in this judgment and everything that if you're
an average person, I feel like you can hide more.
But the pressure feeling it from your spouse must be
worse than anything, because like that's the one place you
should be safe and feel comfortable.
Speaker 3 (17:41):
I have heard horror stories from people who like they've
given birth and then an hour later, literally hour later,
two hours later, husband saying things like, well, why does
your belly still like that? Well, because I you know.
Speaker 6 (17:55):
I just gave birth.
Speaker 3 (17:56):
There's a you might not know this because you haven't
given birth, Joanne c sections. Yes, so when you give
birth vationally after this is very aggressive conversation. But after
you give birth, the nurses and the doctors come in
there and they push on your stomach like I'm showing
you right now as hard as they possibly can to
(18:18):
get everything, like the rest of the things eliminated.
Speaker 6 (18:22):
This is crazy.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
It hurts. It's the crazy.
Speaker 6 (18:27):
Yeah, and like you're watching all this stuff like because
if you don't, all that stuff stays, and then.
Speaker 3 (18:31):
You stay, you don't want cots and you don't you know,
you gotta make sure everything it's wild.
Speaker 6 (18:36):
Yeah, and again and now after imagine me putting the
pressure on.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
That's where people get mad, like I don't. I would
be shocked if I saw another female who had had,
you know, has given birth, be like mean to Cardi
because she bounced back like I don't, that's not that's
I mean.
Speaker 6 (18:55):
You say that. But I'm sure if you read the comments,
there are people in there complaining about there and there's
definitely hate because.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
It's just so absurd because she can't help what her
body does.
Speaker 6 (19:05):
I get to assume too, that must come from a
place where one then't bounce back fast enough, maybe felt
some of the pressure and is now directing that hate
into the post. Yeah, yeah, which is unfair to Cardi.
Speaker 3 (19:14):
B Yeah. No, I listen, I'm I'm just so she
just seems so happy and away from how she looks like,
she just she seems great. Baby number four, we don't
have a name, but I listen, I'm not blind, and
I can't help but look at her and be like domn.
She looks just so good.
Speaker 6 (19:32):
But I don't think that that is the average person.
I will tell you for my wife, like, it took
years and years and years for her to feel like, yeah,
I feel self against working out again. All these things
that get back down to a place.
Speaker 3 (19:43):
You call it getting your pink back.
Speaker 6 (19:45):
Oh, she got her pink back and I was fine
with everything.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
No, you can't. You cannot rush that stuff because it's
just a combination of like mental health and physical health
and all the things. I just think Cardi is laser focused.
I think she has this tour coming in and she
knows it and she wants it to be the best
show ever. That baby is going on tour and she's like,
I'm back in the gym, like I got I got stuff.
Speaker 6 (20:08):
And let's just say, like Stefan, he's in the streets.
This might only last a couple of months. So what
that's is that not the reality of being I.
Speaker 3 (20:17):
Mean, the last post they put up together was was
a joint post. She was pregnant on the field at
gillette Es.
Speaker 6 (20:24):
Wait until the other kids are born, because he's got
like five five on.
Speaker 3 (20:28):
The Wow, we still don't know how many. We don't
know how many. But you know what, none of that
matters because the Patriots are winning. Carti's winning a brand
new baby boy. If you hadn't heard the news, Cardi
b and our guys Stefan Diggs welcomed a baby boy
to the world about a week ago. But don't look
at Cardi and not say she is.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
Looking good Morning show, Good Morning Bustin's number one for
hip hop.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
You am in ninety four or five? Hi everybody, Ashley,
and did you have in morning show? We're checking in
on your life, your worlds. You know, there's so many
different aspects of this show that I love, but this
one is certainly the best because I just I like
to see what's happening out there with you. Joanna is
gonna kick it off for us. She's in Fall River
(21:17):
six one seven nine three one one nine four five
if you want to check in with us, Joanna.
Speaker 9 (21:24):
Good morning, good morning, happy to be lady Ashley.
Speaker 3 (21:28):
Listen, thank you so much, happy just being alive to you.
I mean, Santa tells me that you were back. You
just recently had a heart attack.
Speaker 10 (21:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (21:39):
I spoke to you guys when it was Chris Brown.
It was in August and Chris Brown's tickets.
Speaker 12 (21:44):
I was trying to get them and then I couldn't
and I was actually at work and I was listening
to you guys trying.
Speaker 11 (21:50):
To win the tickets, and I had a heart attack.
I spoke to you, Ashley. I know I talk to
a lot of people.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
I well know, but didn't you like think you something's wrong?
And you walked to the yah, Yeah, walked to the.
Speaker 11 (22:07):
Listen act me. And then on my birthday, which was
the data of the concert Augus twenty fifth, I heard
a j tell her I love her for it. She
played like a commercial that's saying how dedicated our fans are.
And it was a little clip of me telling you
guys my story. I was like, oh my god, well
it's true.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
I mean, imagine trying to win Chris Brown tickets so
hard that you give yourself a heart attack. I like,
and you never even made it to the show. That's
we're gonna have to figure that out for you. One day,
what you'll see Chris, one day, we'll make it happen.
Speaker 13 (22:40):
Thank you.
Speaker 11 (22:41):
But first I called yesterday because I wanted to tell you.
Speaker 12 (22:44):
I'm not a social media person, but I overheard you
say talking about that video, and I got on the
Instagram so I can see.
Speaker 11 (22:52):
And don't let nobody nobody's words bother you because you
are a great mom. Nobody pays if you build. And
that was not as dramatic. I raised six kids. That
was not as dramatic as people make it.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
Keep listen, Thank you so much. She's referring to the
to the the headbutt video heard around the world. Yeah,
so wild, because the three of us were just chatting.
It's up to two point three million views. It's so
weird to think that many people have watched that video.
And yeah, I'm getting demolished in the comments section as
a bad mom. It's fine.
Speaker 11 (23:26):
I listen, it's ridiculous. It's not ridiculous.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
Someone said, you know this, this video fell on the
wrong side of the internet because these people are nuts.
They clearly don't have kids. But yeah, no, thank you
for saying that. It's been it's been quite the wild
ride without this whul with with this whole ficturebout the week.
But thank you so much, babe. You sound great, by
the way, for somebody who had a heart attack, you're
just crushing.
Speaker 11 (23:48):
Thank you, Thank you. Wait, one last things. If you
get on Instagram Cardi.
Speaker 12 (23:53):
B on the the the instagram that has Cardi B's
picture of her new album, there's a picture of her
and Stefan and the.
Speaker 3 (24:01):
Baby that's probably AI. I all have.
Speaker 11 (24:04):
Patriots the baby Instagram. It's just as Cardi B. I
googled it.
Speaker 3 (24:09):
Yeah, it's probably.
Speaker 11 (24:10):
And you'll see it.
Speaker 13 (24:12):
Well.
Speaker 11 (24:12):
No, I'm just trying to probably a message and I can't.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
It's probably Ai because Cardi herself hasn't like officially posted anything.
Stephan It or any news outlets haven't posted any pictures
of the baby yet. And you know you can't trust
anything on the internet until we get it from the
from the literal soul.
Speaker 11 (24:29):
No, no, no, no, no, it's them. It's it's her with
a jersey, Patriots jersey. The baby has a Patriots outfit
and it's step On.
Speaker 13 (24:35):
It is the pictures.
Speaker 11 (24:36):
You could see it. You'll see it. Just look it
up and you'll see.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
All right, all right, babe, thank you so much for
the call. I appreciate it.
Speaker 6 (24:44):
I can't find it.
Speaker 3 (24:45):
It's well, it's because it doesn't it probably you know,
it probably does exist. It's probably Ai. They probably tossed
a Patriots jersey and blossom and called it a day. Listen,
you know how it goes until it until it comes
from a verified source. That's it. I always I tell
you guys about the rumors. But Sebastian wants to check in.
Sebastian is on the bus on the way to school.
(25:07):
What grade you win, Sebastian, I'm in nice now, Okay,
so he's in high school. Now, Sebastian, you told me
that you got your sweatshirt taken and the bully that
took your sweatshirt has been wearing it around school and
it even has your name on it.
Speaker 13 (25:23):
Yeah, so I don't know what to do. He it
has my name on it.
Speaker 14 (25:26):
He just like I misplaced it on a seat and
he took it the next period and he's just been
wearing it to school.
Speaker 13 (25:34):
I don't know what to do. I don't want to confront.
Speaker 14 (25:36):
Him like I do, but I don't because like if
I talk to a teacher, I feel like he's going
to escalate it.
Speaker 13 (25:42):
So like, I don't want to do that. I just
want my sweatshirt back. So I want some advice.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
Honey, there's no other way to get your sweatshirt back
other than saying to him, hey, that's my sweatshirt, and
then going from there. You know what I mean? Is
he is he? Is he on the bus with you?
Speaker 11 (25:57):
No, he's not.
Speaker 15 (25:57):
He's at school, Okay, he's on a friends Like, do
you are.
Speaker 3 (26:01):
You friendly with anybody who's who knows him better than
you do? Maybe you could send in some reinforcements.
Speaker 13 (26:09):
Yeah, actually that's a good idea.
Speaker 11 (26:10):
I might do that.
Speaker 3 (26:11):
Yeah, if you know somebody that's cool with him. I mean, listen,
maybe he really thought it was his by accident, but
if not, if he's bullying you and he took a sweatshirt,
you need to go up there and get you sweatshirt back?
Speaker 13 (26:19):
Yeah, okay, yeah, all right, thank you.
Speaker 3 (26:22):
All right, buddy, godspeed. Yeah. See, like those are the
things that I'm just not prepared for in life. Like
Leyla comes home and she's like, big Jenny took my sweatshirt?
Where does she live?
Speaker 6 (26:31):
We live in a different times. You can't do that.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
I know.
Speaker 6 (26:35):
You also have to go through the protocol of the
school and all that, so it's very different.
Speaker 3 (26:40):
We I didn't give bad advice, right, you need to
go up and say, hey, can I have my sweatshirt?
Speaker 6 (26:43):
You can have a conversation and hopefully that solves it.
Unford you like, after that, you can't really do much
my advice. It's called the police.
Speaker 3 (26:53):
All right, let's go back to the phones. Uh, you
guys are all calling. Let's go six one seven nine
three one one nine four five six one seven nine
three one one nine four five. People are probably like Ashley,
you can't follow him to do it? I don't list it.
What's his ask? Six one seven nine three one one
nine four five. We're checking on you. We're talking about
anything you want. Good morning, Hi, everybody, Good morning, It's
(27:18):
Ashley in the jam in morning. Show. We're checking in
on you. How are you? What's going on? We're gonna
go to Oscar first. Oscar is all the way in California.
So Oscar, what are you four forty one out there
in Cali?
Speaker 13 (27:33):
No, it is for forty Yes, almost pretty close flipping Ashley, Yeah,
I got I got a comment on this Sway shirt. Yeah.
You don't call the cops, you know, fix them up.
Speaker 7 (27:42):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (27:44):
What we're not calling the cops right away? You s Yeah,
you're giving it's giving Santy energy. It's giving Sanchi energy.
Speaker 15 (27:51):
Listen.
Speaker 7 (27:52):
I love Santi.
Speaker 13 (27:53):
Santi is a troublemaker.
Speaker 10 (27:55):
You do that.
Speaker 3 (27:55):
You have no idea? The man's gotten me in trouble
this morning, at this hour. It's crazy. Hey, what's going
on in what's going on in Cali?
Speaker 13 (28:04):
Well, you know what A long time listener, you know,
listen to you guys for many many years early early
in the morning when I was, you know, going to
San Diego. I know you've been out to San Diego before.
I guess you got a friend out there, so you know.
But yeah, so you know what just turns you guys
on when I'm sleepy and I just love your guy,
you show. I just love everything you guys do. I
think you guys are just incredible. I can't say enough.
(28:27):
You know, all three of you. You know, I know
DJ forourn isn't in today.
Speaker 3 (28:31):
Well, I've done to the last time you listened to Oscar,
But unfortunately he's not with the show anymore. The company
made a few changes a couple of weeks back. He
was one of them. I cried, I've been crying. It's
a it's tough. So unfortunately I have to deliver that
news to you.
Speaker 13 (28:49):
Well, the thing is, I listened. The last time I
listened to you was the Dictionary word sixty seven, and
you were you were with the with the couch incident.
Speaker 3 (28:59):
Yea, I still don't know what that means. Six seven.
We're still all wondering.
Speaker 13 (29:02):
Well, it's it's a good thing, right. I was born
in sixty seven, So for me, okay, so what do
we do now?
Speaker 3 (29:10):
Time we go six seven? I hate it.
Speaker 13 (29:12):
I hate it.
Speaker 3 (29:13):
Oscar my best friend, my best friend in the whole
wide world. Jody lives in California, in Manhattan Beach, so
you know some of my favorite people live out there.
You included, thank you for the call. Everybody wants to
talk about the sweat shirt. The sweatshirt heard around the world.
Sarah is in Lawrence. Sarah said, I identify myself like
(29:33):
Ashley Sarah. Are we rolling? Are we rolling to Sebastian School?
Because we need to.
Speaker 9 (29:39):
Set one thousand person one thousand? You should hear my kids.
So when my kids were younger, I was the same.
I mean I'm still the same way, but like when
I was younger, I'm like, Oh, what's your parents name?
Do we have a phone number?
Speaker 7 (29:52):
Right?
Speaker 9 (29:52):
Right?
Speaker 3 (29:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (29:53):
Where they live?
Speaker 9 (29:54):
But now that they're in high school, that stuff happens
and I'm like, oh, really I know where they live.
And my kids will be like, Mom, you need to
settle down and a deep breath because you're not gonna go.
And I'm like, oh, you don't think I will.
Speaker 3 (30:09):
It's so hard, Like it's just like this feeling in
your body you so badly want to protect them. Layla
was at the playground a couple months back, and she
wanted to play with this little girl and she went
up to the little girl, will you play with me?
And the girl goes, I don't want to play with you.
You're a candle, like a candle, like a Yankee candle,
like we're when a bathroom body works and getting three
for a candle. I don't even know what it means.
I don't get the disc but I wanted to. I
(30:34):
was so mad. She was like eleven twos. She was
too big to be acting like that.
Speaker 9 (30:39):
When kids are nice to each other and you see
the other kid not be nice back, it like triggers
you at the mom, like like, why is your kid
not nice to my kids?
Speaker 3 (30:49):
I know, and you know what, it could be our
We might we might have missed something and it was
our kid being bad. You just the kids are like
they gotta figure it out. But it doesn't mean that
we're not always gonna feel like we gotta defend them. So, Sarah,
thank you for that. I feel yeah, I feel like
at least I got somebody. Someone's in my corner. Tricia
is in Lynn. Tricia also wants to help out Sebastian.
You guys, trush, you got me nervous that I didn't
(31:09):
give him good advice, Like what do we do?
Speaker 13 (31:13):
I'm with you in, Sarah, let's go.
Speaker 16 (31:15):
You know you need to listen, you need to you
need to you need to bully your bully.
Speaker 9 (31:20):
Like, seriously, I had a situation where I.
Speaker 16 (31:22):
Was picked on by this woman and when I lived
in Chelsea and finally, and she was a lot bigger
than me, and my father was the type like either
you go down.
Speaker 13 (31:33):
And kick butt or you're getting your butt kicked by me.
So you know, and I.
Speaker 11 (31:38):
Can't listen you ever hear the you know the phrase
come back from Mississippi.
Speaker 16 (31:42):
You take your hand and you swing it way back
in back of you like you come back from Mississippi.
Speaker 13 (31:47):
I'm doing crap out of them.
Speaker 3 (31:48):
I'm doing that. We're not We're not advising him to hit,
but what we are advising him is to go up
to this person and be like, hey, listen, I think
you come you you come with kindness. First, Hey, I
left my sweatshirt on that chair. I've seen you wearing it.
Is there? Any way can get my sweatshirt back? It's
how you start the conversation.
Speaker 13 (32:06):
Okay, we can.
Speaker 9 (32:08):
My mom used to say, yeah, you get more with honey.
Speaker 16 (32:10):
We can try that, right, but that's only gonna happen
one time because after that.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
We're naming the podcast and get more with son. Write
that down. You get more with honey, treasure. Thank you
for that. You guys have been crushing it with these
Thank you so much. All right, phones are going crazy.
Let's play a song and then we will continue the
check in six one seven, nine three one one nine
for five six one seven nine one nine. I love
that everybody's ready to fight on a Friday. My type
(32:35):
of energy. Love you, Tito, Good morning. How are we doing?
Speaker 6 (32:41):
Hey?
Speaker 7 (32:41):
What's up guys? Jim and number one's popping?
Speaker 3 (32:43):
Wow? What it's all? We love you for that, hey,
unrelated to what you want to talk about, Well, no,
let's talk about what you want to talk about. First, Sebastian, Well.
Speaker 4 (32:54):
First time, Sebastian. If you're listening, kids, don't approach this
kid by yourself. You got bullies everywhere. Someone not going
to have your back. One friend, one teas that encounts
with somebody. Don't go to this kid by myself. He
proved the point. He knows it's yours.
Speaker 7 (33:08):
You know, he took it.
Speaker 4 (33:09):
He's walking around like he's the man. Listen, man, you
took my stuff, You made your point and I get
it back. But don't go by yourself. Man, it's to
set up. You're gonna get beat up. I want to
actually and Saturday coming to back you up. Hey, I
can't get it till like ten o'clock tonight.
Speaker 3 (33:26):
No, no, you know what's so great?
Speaker 7 (33:29):
My body?
Speaker 3 (33:31):
I want to live Tito in like the land of
make Believe. And just that that kid thought it was
his sweatshirt, took it and it was an honest mistake.
And whenever Sebastian confronts him or somebody else does, he's like,
oh yeah, here's my swortch maybe it will work out
like that. Let let us pry. Okay, let us.
Speaker 4 (33:47):
Hope, I mean hopefully, but listen, is twenty twenty five.
Speaker 7 (33:50):
There's no way that came made a mistake.
Speaker 3 (33:52):
I know, I know you unrelated. Sadi also tells me
that you work at Jersey Mike's. You know, I've never
been to jerseys but people people guess that they love
that place.
Speaker 4 (34:04):
Hey, come through, girl, it's the juice. I'm gonnadicted. I
get this little burn every time I dip the little staws.
Oh man, that's great. Shout out to Team Cambridge six
seventy five Mass time.
Speaker 7 (34:13):
Shout out to the GM over there, come through, guys,
come through.
Speaker 3 (34:15):
What's the number one? What's the number one order at
a Jersey. Mike's like, what do people go for?
Speaker 4 (34:21):
The original Italian? Is that the most popular subn Then
I say the Turkey, the Turkey sub number one, number two,
But my favorite is the number nine, the Club Supreme
roast beef, turkey, mayo, bacon, and so the juice come through.
Mike's wave, Mike's wave.
Speaker 3 (34:36):
Okay, wait tm on what did you say? Is the
number one?
Speaker 7 (34:39):
The number one, Club Supreme? The number nine?
Speaker 3 (34:42):
Oh okay, yeah, he come through.
Speaker 7 (34:47):
Guy.
Speaker 4 (34:48):
If you guys go, if you're going for the first time,
I'll be so mad if you go anywhere.
Speaker 3 (34:51):
Else but my bird right know, Tino's got the special
juice over there in Cambridge. All Right, we're running, I mean,
all right, all right. Goodbye to you though, because that's me.
Oh god, Alexia, Alexa, Alexia.
Speaker 15 (35:08):
Nay hi baby.
Speaker 3 (35:13):
Is it?
Speaker 15 (35:13):
What is Alex?
Speaker 3 (35:14):
Okay, well, breathe Alexia, my god. Alexia. By the way,
unrelated to Sebastian, not in his school or anything that
we've been talking a lot about him. This is scary.
Your kid's school went into lockdown yesterday.
Speaker 15 (35:28):
Yeah, And I mean obviously you hear it all over
the news and stuff from everywhere else, but nothing prepares
you to be in that situation and talk.
Speaker 3 (35:38):
But let's talk us through it. So do you get
an email? Do you get a text?
Speaker 12 (35:42):
Like?
Speaker 3 (35:42):
How does it work? What does it say?
Speaker 15 (35:44):
I got a text and it said the school's on lockdown,
the students are accounted for. I can't give you any
other information.
Speaker 3 (35:53):
Oh my god, I can't even I can't. I can't.
I can't even fathom it. And so what did you do?
Speaker 15 (36:03):
So I went into panic mode. I know my daughter's
not allowed to really have her phone, but I got
her an eye watch, so I was hoping it was connected.
I text, I text her, are you okay? I called
my mom? My mom text her. Her text thankfully went
through to my mom saying she was okay, okay, But
(36:23):
we couldn't get anything. After that, we called the state
police to see what was going on. They said they
couldn't get They said they were on scene, but they
couldn't give us any information.
Speaker 3 (36:34):
And now let's fast forward what ended up happening.
Speaker 15 (36:39):
What happened was they eventually were able to be dismissed
at four thirty at night, and I guess they had
found a bullet in one of the hallways, so they
had to investigate it.
Speaker 3 (36:53):
Wow, that is insane. I can't even imagine her telling
you how her day went in school, probably horrified.
Speaker 15 (37:02):
Oh my god, she she was traumatized the four things.
She's a very like laid back kid and she doesn't
show a lot of emotion. But last night she brought
it up like three times, and she said, Mom, I
have to keep my phone on me. I don't care
if I get in trouble. She's like, it was horrible
not being able to contact you, like, you know what.
Speaker 3 (37:20):
Every time we talk about that, like the phone, And
I totally understand. I think I'm sure you can do.
You can see both sides. You understand the teachers being
like if they have the phones, they are going to
be on the phones. They're not going to pay attention,
they're not going to learn. But then there's also this
the world is a different place now, and there's also
this other side to it too, where like you're trying
to check in and make sure everything's okay with your
dad and you can't get a hold of her again.
I it's such a tough one because I can really
(37:41):
see both sides to it. I'm glad you're okay. I'm
glad she's okay. Mom, have a stiff drink tonight, honey,
because my nerves would just be shot to hell.
Speaker 15 (37:49):
Oh my god, I literally wish I could. I'm I'm not.
I'm twenty weeks pregnant.
Speaker 3 (37:53):
My god, you can't do it. Just eat some ice cream.
You can't do anything fun. But also that's exciting.
Speaker 15 (38:01):
Congrats, thank you, thank you God.
Speaker 3 (38:04):
That could have put you into early labored. So stressful.
I'm glad. I got lad. Everybody's good. Thanks for the call.
Speaker 6 (38:11):
So scary, it's so scary. My wife was in a
situation when she used to teach there was they were
in lockdown for hours. The helicopters like over. Somebody down
south called the school and did a threat, but they
called the wrong school, so they put this one on lockdown,
and it was crazy.
Speaker 3 (38:24):
I just don't know what the answer is. I don't
like the phone. I if I'm a teacher, I don't
want them to have the phones in the classroom. But
then i'm a parent. I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 6 (38:33):
Phones are just banned in our town, and I think
it's very productive and effective for teaching and learning. But
I do think is is there a point for them
to have accessibility to, so hopefully they can keep it
in their bags and keep it away and bring it in.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
Wouldn't it be cool if they came out with this
thing where kids could hit a button and their phone
goes into like school mode and then they could only
text her. I mean it sounds crazy, but if it's
in school mode and they only can call it, there's
nothing else they can do. From those certain hours. Their
phones just go into school mode and then at that
they can only text their parents.
Speaker 6 (39:02):
You just handed somebody out there.
Speaker 3 (39:05):
Can I get it? Can I get a cut on
school mode? Marlee is in Plymouth. We're gonna we're gonna
wrap up the check in with you, Marley, because you're
gonna give everybody some positivity. Let's do that. We need
a little bit of that in our lives.
Speaker 10 (39:17):
Yes, yes, good morning, Good morning to everybody. I appreciate
you all.
Speaker 7 (39:21):
How are you doing good good?
Speaker 10 (39:25):
I just wanted to call and say thank you for being.
Speaker 13 (39:29):
For being on the radio. Obviously everybody. Thanks you. Guys.
Speaker 10 (39:31):
To all the bullies out there, you can go kick rocks.
Please put your feet on the ground and experience, you know,
some positivity. I want to. I want to accentuate that
word positivity. The more you put out there, the more
you get back.
Speaker 3 (39:48):
Simple, you know what grace costs you nothing. Keep going
back to that, right.
Speaker 10 (39:54):
And a lot of and real quick to a lot
of this younger generation. I feel as if they don't
know just how special that the older generation is and
how much that they have taught us, and that we
need to actually take care of them and keep it moving.
Speaker 3 (40:10):
That's a puzzle I won't be able to put together
for a while. I'm as deep. I'm gonna keep thinking
about that. So thank you for those those words, whise
beyond our ears.
Speaker 6 (40:19):
I don't mind the positivity thoughts, but like, yeah, I
don't imagin yeah, well no, I just don't know.
Speaker 3 (40:24):
I don't know what it means. I'm sorry. It'll come
to me.
