Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wait yo.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Well, well, well hi everybody, good morning. How is everybody's weekend?
What's going on? Tell me everything?
Speaker 1 (00:19):
Well, you are a celebration of life, which was very different.
So a friend of ours home town, his mom passed
away around the holiday. So they had a celebration of
life this past weekend, which was a very nice thing.
It was you know, some people went up there told
stories about her.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
So just I want to understand a celebration of life,
person passes, funeral happens, and then instead of doing that
like sad party after the funeral.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
I never think. I just think they she didn't want
want that.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
I think I liked it, the idea of it, I think. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
And it was good to hear stories about her because
I had seen her, but I never heard like got
to personally know her. So they went back into the
sixty telling all these funny story is the guy's her
husband is funny guy. You know we're black, right, No,
And it was not like a function hal things too,
and the band played and stuff, so that was really nice.
And we were there from people from town. I had
(01:12):
a couple of drinks, you know, so it was really nice.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
He thought the band was great.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
Rightand band was great. I mean they were old timers,
but yeah, you know, still Rocking on Morning Sun was
the name of the band, and I guess they played
like in the sting together. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
You can't really say anything bad about a celebration of
life either, because he's great to help.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
No, but I will tell you though, it's interesting that
Karen Reid stuff came up in the conversation because apparently
there was a guy there that had been to the
Alberts house who had spent time with them and knows
them personally and like the perspective.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
But I'm going after you're done.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
Well the perspective I've heard from this that he believes
that the whole things to cover up, so he thinks
he thinks the Alberts are very very shady and they.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
All right, does he know? I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
I had to dig into it, but yeah, it was interesting.
Speaker 3 (02:02):
So funny for him were they was Karen Reid coming
up to the clubs.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
Never no clubs.
Speaker 4 (02:07):
My son graduated high school the last one that happened
on Saturday, so congratulations to him in his class. That
was a vibe. Aside from that, Now we was outside,
we was at a sold out boat even though the
weather was party. Yeah, it was kind of cold out here,
you know, I know, I know you're gonna talk about
the party, but yes, Saturday was kind of cold out seas, but.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
Yeah, it must be worse out on the water for sure.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
Yeah it was. It was pretty chilly. And then after
that we went to play inside Big Night Live. They
turned the old I think it was goy Fiery restaurant
into like a restaurant slash arcade, which was kind of fire.
Sold that out, so so it was. It was a
good time, good celebration fathers. They went out for dinner
with the boys, had some sushi. My youngest dride sushi
for the first time. Damn Neard threw.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
Upside from that.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
We had a good time in Father's Day for both
of you. Any any good gifts worth noting?
Speaker 1 (02:56):
No, we ate dinner. Okay, that was itsh It's like
such an afterthought. It really really is, bro like they
really don't.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
Just trying to not make it an afterthought, right there.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
I tried.
Speaker 4 (03:07):
I tried, you know, I saw a meme that said
your Mother's Day, there's buffets, they dinner specials, lunch specials,
brunch on Father's day they gave us a grill to
go cook and put in work.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
One day. We're going to change the narrative. It's all good.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
No, I agree, it's but it's gone. No one's talking
about it anymore. It was just yesterday.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Yeah, bye bye.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
Yes, we'll talk about the party because I want to
tell you guys so many things.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
But well, maybe i'll say the story then. But I
think that's what we're talking about.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
I don't know this to be true, but the info
that I got Saturday night when I was out drunk
acting like a crazy person having to do with Karen
Read is crazy.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
Which makes you think a lot of things, right, Absolutely,
so many questions.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
I don't I know.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Yeah, we have a lot to chat about. Oh my god,
you guys, these is gonna be one just a couple
of days.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
What a time actually, And the Jamie Morning Show with
j Foreign.
Speaker 5 (04:09):
And Saunty When you need to know, No, we got
you three things you need to know on Boston's number
one for hip hop and the best throwbags. You haven't
anymore vires.
Speaker 6 (04:20):
There was no collision. There was no collision. There was
no collision. I want to start with the simple truth.
You folks not us, nobody else in the courtroom. You
folks are the last line of defense, the last line
of defense between an innocent woman and a system that
has tried to break her. This case was corrupted from
(04:43):
the start. It was corrupted by biases and conflicts and
personal loyalties that you heard about, and most fatally, it
was corrupted by a lead investigator whose misconduct infected every
single part of this case from the top to the bottom.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
Monday, June sixteenth, Sabby Al was putting on a show
for the I was closing arguments on Friday.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
Listen.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
I don't care what anybody says, I'm sticking to this.
I thought both sides did a great job at wrapping
things up and you know, kind of showing forth their
lawyer abilities in those closing arguments.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
Everybody was peacocking a little bit.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
But Daddy out was more entertaining and more like the showman. Yes,
and I felt that like a lot more. Hank is
not that way, and you can totally tell. But here
we are.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
So the jury got the case for.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
A couple hours. I mean, it was really maybe even less.
It was really quick on Friday. So today they'll go
back in and deliberate for a full day.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
What are we feeling is today?
Speaker 1 (05:40):
The day I'm feeling today is day because I feel
like on Friday they came to the decision of whatever
it is that they're going to go away.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
They had to have sat down and been like, all right,
let's just quickly go around the table.
Speaker 3 (05:49):
What does everybody think? Are we in agreement? Are we not?
Speaker 1 (05:52):
But I'm hoping that they said, listen, let's take the
weekend to make sure we feel the same way today
they come back in just to confirm every It should
be quicker because they did trim out a lot of people.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
They didn't get to hear a lot of people. They
trimmed out the fat, right, But you never know, you
never know how many people are gonna be in there.
Just been like, nah, she's guilty, she's not guilty. I
don't know what's going on hopefully today, I don't know.
I feel like it's the end of the week.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Nor are you kidding me? So okay, let's talk about
closing arguments real quick. Two things that stuck out to me,
I think from the defense side, from Daddy Al's spiel
that he gave. I thought the most important thing was
he was kind of also schooling the jury at the
same time. He's like, maybe you think to yourself, d
(06:35):
D and you and you then add the word might
or but I think she did it, but she might
have that.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
He's like, that is a not guilty vote.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
And even when I was saying it to Nick on Friday,
when we were kind of talking through things, he's like, yeah,
but Ashley, you just said might, and that's a not
guilty verte because you don't think of it that way.
I think she did it, but the investigation was trash. Well,
there's a butt that that's reasonable day. Well, what reasonable
doubt is how you define it. I thought Daddy out
did a great job of kind of laying that out
(07:05):
for the jury so they understand what I mean. Because
you've got to remember, we're the jury, it's civilians. It's
just regular day people, you know. And I think a
lot of this is bigger and it's you know, but
when you boil it down, that's important to think about.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
I think she did it, but she might.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
As soon as you throw that in, as soon as
you say but that's reasonable doubt. And then of course
Hank Brendan per usual just kind of right to it.
Speaker 7 (07:30):
Jon O'Keefe was forty six years old. He's described as
a good man, kind, generous, thoughtful. He was a Boston
Police officer. He worked to help the community. And on
January twenty nine, twenty twenty two, John O'Keefe needed some help,
(07:54):
and there was only one person in this entire planet
who could help him that morning to give him a chance.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
And that one.
Speaker 7 (08:01):
Person who could help him that morning was this defendant
right here. Karen greed.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
She made a choice.
Speaker 7 (08:09):
She didn't call nine one one, She didn't run to
his aid, she didn't knock on a door. She made
a decision about herself. In her Lexus she drove away.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
It's impactful.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
Yeah, well yeah, I thought, like I said, I thought
they both did a great job. It was it was exciting, nonetheless,
and here we are Foreorn thinks it's going to go
the rest of the week.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
I'm hoping for like a Wednesday.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
Yeah, today, it's definitely not today. Give it a few days.
Speaker 3 (08:42):
They don't know, we don't. And that's the thing. It's
like the weather.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
They could go in there at nine nine thirty when
everythings get underway, and then we could be seeing messages
at noon at lunch they're done. We just will never
be able to know. I mean, I'm hoping, like I
don't want to wait.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Yeah, like this is two summers of this. Come on,
let's just end this.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
Let's all right.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
I literally was chatting with Sounty about this this morning
because I'm like, you gotta fill me in.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
The internet was going nuts, the trade herd around the world.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
Huh Yeah, it's kind of depressing if you're a fan
of the Red Sox.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
Red Sox Raphael Devers is out, and I mean they're
saying that that day Father's Day will go down in
the history of the Red Sox franchise.
Speaker 3 (09:25):
That that's how big this is.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
It's the equivalent if you traded Tatum, Like right now,
at his peak, he's he's the best player on the
Red Sox. But the only issue is that he came
back a little bit you know, hefty, and also too
they signed somebody to take his position, which he was
not thrilled about. So they traded broke. Was he gain
some weight, No, they traded him because he wasn't a
team player. So the first baseman got hurt. So Devers,
(09:47):
who plays the infield, was should have stepped up and
said listen, I will you know, take over that position.
He decided not to, and I think they were just
done with his bs.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
I heard them say this morning that they that the
Red Sox have been trying to act like he was
a ok with the position change and everything's fine, But
he absolutely was not. He's off to the Giants like
he's far away, now gone gone.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
Now. The other thing with him is that he makes
a lot of money. So he was making three hundred
million dollars just to sit on the bench and just
hit four times a game. Complain crazy, he doesn't make
any sense.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
So the Socks are getting four people in the trade.
Sun They got three pitchers and an outfielder.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
Yeah, the trades is not the trade is not balanced.
But the good thing about this trade is that the
Giants take over his entire contract. So the Red Sox
is gonna saying a lot of money. Basically, they just said,
take him off our hands, pay his contract, and.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
Give him the position he wants because he ain't gonna
go anywhere else. Socks, by the way, not looking bad.
They're one game over five hundred. Yeah, this isn't. This
can't feel good in the locker room.
Speaker 1 (10:42):
It doesn't feel good because when you play in Boston,
or if you're a fan of the Socks, you need
a superstar. Like on the field, the Red Sox have
traded away their best superstars last ten years.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
This is giving Mookie Betts exactly alrighty.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
Lastly, Justin Bieber is dude, he's one step closer to
the umbrella Britney Spears thing.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
It's it's going to happen. The man is losing it.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
Justin Bieber going off on paparazzi at the beach over
the weekend.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
I'm a father, I'm a dad. I understand that.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
And you guys are on private property in front of
my car.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
I understand. No, you don't understand, or else you wouldn't
be here. Don't go to someone you don't know and
you stick the camera on their face. You don't do that.
You don't do that. Are you a celebrity?
Speaker 7 (11:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (11:27):
If I'm a celebrity or not?
Speaker 2 (11:32):
One step closer that somebody, somebody's car is getting destroyed.
Speaker 4 (11:36):
And I feel for him though, because it's true, like
he's you know, he's a possible. But this is what
you sign up for when you become a celebrit Unfortunately
you hear them saying it. They're like, your celebrity, we
don't care.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
I sadly get both sides.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
Yeah, we don't care about your prophecy. We gotta eat too,
which is a sad way to live. But the whole
video was that he was in a van and they
were on private property and the paparazzi were right next
to him. They will like, get off private property. But
then Justin went to the sidewalk and continue to talk
to them. I'm like, that's what they.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
Want want to do, and at this point they're not
going to stop because they all want to be the
one that gets the one, Like you want to be
the one that shot Britney Spears taking an umbrella and
throwing it through someone's.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
Card, right you want the one?
Speaker 1 (12:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (12:15):
Yeah, like you want to be the one. He also
is just he's just he's being so weird. On social media,
he posted a some screenshots from a conversation that he
had with somebody. If you want a good laugh this morning,
go to the comment section because someone said, Yo, it's
his Uber eats driver that he's having this conversation with.
But listen, he goes, I will never suppress my emotions
(12:36):
for someone. Conflict is part of relationship. If you don't
like my anger, you don't like me. My anger is
a response to the pain I've been through. Asking a
traumatized person not to be traumatized is simply mean. The
person writes back, I'm not used to someone lashing out
at me. It's not that I don't see and feel
your anger. Justin writes back to him, out, the friendship
is officially over. I will never accept a man calling
my anger lashing out. I enjoyed our I enjoyed our
(12:59):
short lived relationship. I wasn't kidding when I told you
I need you as a friend. I didn't need you
as a friend. I have good, good friends who will
respect these boundaries. I thought you were a word I
can't say, vagina, which is why I always keep my distance.
But I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt.
This confirms you were the vagina I always thought you were.
He gave him the middle finger and said, please leave
me alone now, and then the guy writes back, I'm
(13:21):
a vagina question mark, and.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
Justin goes blocking you now. I don't know people are
like he's talking to himself.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
He's texting himself from his burner so he can pot
like this.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
The comments are.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
It's really it's really weird and the latest seven hours ago,
then he posted a picture of him smoking a blunt
like I don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
Something seems doesn't feel right with him.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
Absolutely, and the fact that he's still married too. I'm
I'm baffled at that.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
Yeah, he goes quit asking if I'm okay, Quit asking
me how I'm doing.
Speaker 3 (13:58):
I don't do that to you because I know how
life is for all of us. It's hard.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
Let's encourage our people not project our insecurities onto one another.
Your concern doesn't come off as care. It's just oppressive.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
You weirdo. I guess we're weirdos.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
I don't know. Then, also to the pole paparazzi thing,
maybe they should like enact some buffer zone when it
comes to celebrities, like, I don't know if they could.
Speaker 3 (14:20):
It's been Connie's been saying this for a while.
Speaker 4 (14:23):
With these guys, it makes sense. It's either you lean
into it or you don't. Yeah, you know that's the way.
Look at aff Yeah, it's probably the perfect thing. He'll
will tell you where to stand, so his wife can
what we're gonna walk out this building again, you guys
stand over here and then take the picture so we
look good. And then you got justin on the other
side of the spectrum where it's like, yo, dude, I'm humans,
stop standing in front of my house.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
What are you doing here?
Speaker 4 (14:44):
But again, you don't understand that that's what they want
because like like actually said that day you melt down
and you holding your hands up trying to block cameras,
that's the picture that's gonna sound.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
That's a win for them. That's also let's also not forget.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
Yay has also been in court multiple times with paparazzi
for throwing their phones on their phones, taking their cameras
and sending them to the.
Speaker 4 (15:03):
Guests talking about Brittany how much the umbrella that she
used to hit the call soulful?
Speaker 1 (15:09):
Oh someone bought the ass a million?
Speaker 4 (15:11):
Yes, wow, seventy thousand.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
I don't even know you. I mean it is an artifact,
it's a relic.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (15:18):
The guy took the umbrella because I guess it was
his or whatever. She left it on the floor. He
picked it up, the same guy who took the picture
and went and auctioned it off. I think it's all
for either sixty's seventy thousand dollars.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
Damn.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
I walk into someone's house though, and they're like, yeah,
this is the that's it.
Speaker 3 (15:35):
That's three things you need to know for Monday, June sixteenth.
Lil Wayne is going to.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
Be at the Exfinity Center. This is exciting. Don't make
any jokes about what will be like he's going to
be late, and then he'll.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
Say joke, that's not a joke. He is going to
be late.
Speaker 3 (15:50):
I see, and you're gonna be like, well remember the
time where he was in the stage and he did it. No,
he's not.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
He's doing Tucci's so he's gonna be like on time.
Like say, it's suposed to hit the stage at nine.
He's going to be there for nine, nine, fifteen, then
you close that eleven. He's probably there eleven.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
Thirty Xfinity Sat. Or August six, we'll hook you up
at seven, twenty eight twenty Good Morning.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
Daddy and the jam In Morning Show with d J
four and it saw t Morning Gaussin's.
Speaker 5 (16:21):
Number one for hip hop jam in ninety four or five.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
Hi everybody, Hey, so I might still be drunk.
Speaker 3 (16:37):
This is crazy. I it was quite the time.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
So let's rewind the weekend Daisy's first birthday party. We
knew it was going to rain on Saturday, there was
obviously no question about that. When was it going to stop?
Was what we were, you know, really trying to zone
in on. So the party was two to five. It
stopped raining at like two twenty in Marshield, And it
(17:00):
turned out to be just the best day ever.
Speaker 3 (17:04):
It really did.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
It was.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
Better than it being a hundred degrees too hot, like
you could sit outside. I had an address, but I
was wearing a jacket too, and there was a nice
little breeze, but it wasn't to the point where everyone
was like, oh, I have to get inside or anything
like that.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
And even from the pictures like that tent like looked
really nice, like it almost like it was better that
you had the tenth than not had the tent.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
I ended up pulling the trigger on a tent like
Friday nights, like late Friday night, just because I was
too worried, like I don't, I don't, I can't have
all these people in the house.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
I don't know what I'm going to do.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
I can't wait to show you guys more detailed shots
from the party. But first and foremost, Frost and Found
Out of Duxbury was my florist for the party, and
Bonnie is the owner of the company, and her and Ava,
her assistant, just did the most amazing job. I don't
know if you guys saw the shots, but I had
(17:59):
her fill the back of the toilet with gurls, so
I was calling it a floral flush, and every time
someone will go to the bathroom, it look like a
garden was growing out of our toilet.
Speaker 3 (18:08):
It was unbelievable.
Speaker 1 (18:09):
The party looked amazing, like I have to give, like
you step your stuff up so well, your events always
look amazing, like they look amazing.
Speaker 3 (18:17):
Well you know why.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
I think it's because I just feel like I have
the best vendors, Like I have the right people around
me that are making me look good.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
So busy bee Jumpers number one. The bouncy house was
the move. If you're having a.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
House party and you want the kids to stay outside
and out of your hair, I mean we had to
ask the kids to come out, that is how crazy
it was. And I also did all that the tables
and the chairs and everything from busy bee jumpers. They
were just they were amazing and great to work with.
Puffy Cloud Puppy Cloud Boston is who did the Chiro cart,
So we had a chiro and ice cream cart, all custom.
(18:56):
We had Daisy gummy bears we had. I made sure
to get the eminem with Daisy's face and.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
Her name on them. You know, they were they were
absolutely amazing.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
It was just such a cool Karen, the owner of
Puppy Claus, does this, you know, she does such a
great job in making everything so custom to your event.
The churros came in a box with a dried daisy
on them.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
You know. It just little things like that.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
The devil is in the details and it goes a
long way at these parties, at least for me, like
it matters. And then obviously all of the design was
myself and one of my good friends Megan from House
of Catherine, and she like just actions everything. She she
brings it all together with the signage and you know,
just kind of helping me with the vision of what
(19:42):
I want it all to look like.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
Do you plan on posting all those pictures?
Speaker 2 (19:45):
Yes, I'm gonna do all the I know I'm gonna
I'm gonna do some shot like all the detailed shots.
I want to make sure I give each person, but
even like down to the catering, like I used a
local guy by the name of c J for all
the sliders. We had like a huge slider bar. And
then my neighbor from morning Wood Barbecue. Of course, of
course he did like a hundred wings. There was nothing
(20:07):
left over. Shout out to Kep from Morning With Barbecue.
There was nothing, not an ounce of food left over.
And then I used for the cake cake Monster. Who
I mean, I just I I always want to give
shout out to all these people because they're amazing, and
I'll tag and put all their stuff. But I think
that's why I'm able to do this with these parties
and keep leveling up, because I just have the best
people around me that are also always down for the vision.
(20:30):
And I knew something was like I mean, let's talk
about it wasn't.
Speaker 3 (20:37):
Cheap, no, but it was worth it. It was worth
the dollars.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
To me.
Speaker 8 (20:43):
Off.
Speaker 3 (20:44):
The fireman might not think that he might agree with.
Speaker 2 (20:48):
Me, but it's just again I got I always surround
myself with people who aren't going to be well. No
that's not going to work. It's like, no, we're going
to figure out how we're gonna get daisy ducks on
this bouncy house and make it look pretty. We're gonna
we're gonna figure out how we're gonna do drapings and
make it look like a just daisy Wonderland fresh daisies.
We had life sized daisies, we had bows.
Speaker 1 (21:09):
And then when you go to the bathroom and a
wipe with exactly out the toilet.
Speaker 2 (21:15):
Yeah, so I'll obviously post a ton so you guys
can see.
Speaker 3 (21:21):
But the real story, yeah, the real story. So moving on.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
I'm hammered by the end of this party, like drunk, drunk,
and I want to go out so bad. So my
best friend came in from California and the fireman was like,
you know what, you go, you and you and.
Speaker 3 (21:37):
Jode hit it. You go out and I'll stay home
with the girls.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
So we go out.
Speaker 3 (21:43):
I get to a bar and there's like rumblings at
the bar.
Speaker 2 (21:47):
I'm like, what what am I.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
Missing out on? What's going on? Supposedly there was a
jar at the bar, that's all I know.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
And how do you know that?
Speaker 2 (22:00):
I was told by somebody that there was a rumor
that somebody at that bar was saying they're a journey mind.
You couldn't anybody do that, right, Like a random Joe
Schmo could sit down.
Speaker 3 (22:10):
Imagine you would? You would, honestly you might get some you.
Speaker 1 (22:14):
Know what off that, yes, But at the same time,
most people wouldn't just say that because what's the appeal, Like,
what are you gonna like lie about the case?
Speaker 2 (22:22):
Yes, you're a single dude and you go sit at
a bar and some lady says, oh, what's up?
Speaker 3 (22:28):
What have you like? I'm going on with you?
Speaker 2 (22:30):
What?
Speaker 1 (22:32):
Yes? Really?
Speaker 3 (22:35):
Oh, I'm going to sleep with the jur and see
what he see what he.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
Thinks about a pound? Yeah, I guess it's the point
of it that you can't confirm it. But I would
lie and say I'm a doctor more than a ger
right now. Tell me, I don't care what you say,
Karen read give it a week.
Speaker 3 (22:55):
At doctor.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
Let's just say that it really was one right. If
that is the case, they aren't concerned about anything. They're
going on and having a couple of drinks, singing right,
living their life.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
Yeah, they do, they don't care.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
That goes back to me that decisions like already made
like he's not thinking or they aren't thinking about anything
with the guy or girl. I don't know a right
they aren't thinking about.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
Anything, but maybe that does play too. They already know
what it's going to be, and there he was he
or she was out celebrating.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
Yeah, like they aren't like you know they they they
aren't at home like just about this, thinking about.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
We talk this through. The more I feel like this
person might have made this up for cloat.
Speaker 4 (23:32):
Yeah you know, yeah, I'm a juror, because you don't know,
because listen at the same time, if you're a juror,
at some point, I know they tell you not to
go on the net, but at some point you've been
on the net and you see the divide, so you
you you're kind of risking it, throwing it out there
being like, oh yeah, I'm on the case, and then
all of a sudden you getting bombarded by people being like,
oh freak Karen Reid all the.
Speaker 1 (23:51):
Other ones who will like lock her up, yeah to me,
not goin to.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
Be shook, even you saying that. I think at that bar,
the TV was on, Oh there was eighty five TV's on.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
If you go out and live your life. You can't
avoid seeing her. I saw her face on the news.
Speaker 3 (24:05):
You know.
Speaker 4 (24:06):
It's just I wouldn't want people to know I was
on the junk cause already know I'm gonna get you
know what I mean, everybody's so invested into this thing.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
But going back to the fact that they all seemingly
are young, I can picture like twenty one year old
being like, I'm on the journey, you know what I mean,
don't care. They think it's a game.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
So yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (24:24):
I don't know, but that was guilty.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
But then I was on a high alert.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
And you know, I was already sticking out in there
because I had on a fur coat and a daisy
flower crown, just.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
Walking around at five ten, drinking shots and jambo like, yeah,
I don't know, I I I was. Then I was
doing laps, trying to look around see if I could nothing.
That's all the until I have and it could be nothingness.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
But but yeah, they were definitely there talking though.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
That's a line though, single bachelor in the bar, What
you've been up to? Oh man, my life's been crazy.
I'm actually actually the Karen Reid trial. What I have
a thousand follow up question, bro, thousand, what if they're ugly.
Speaker 4 (25:05):
It doesn't matter, you don't think so Nope, nope, to
put that on you, to put that on your on
your little resume and be like what I have one
of the people that had that.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
Decision in this case. Yeah, some people only care about that, bro,
And you don't gotta go.
Speaker 3 (25:19):
You don't gotta do it all.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
You could do a quick makeout seshe a quick tongue
for info.
Speaker 1 (25:25):
Yeah, I guess that's something you can't confirm too, So
the lie is gonna live, that's right.
Speaker 2 (25:30):
But anyways, I'm sad that Daisy's birthday party is also
intertwined now with banging somebody on the jury. But either way,
I want to say thank you so much to everybody
that helped me out for the party this weekning.
Speaker 3 (25:40):
You guys are the best, especially in the Jamie Morning
Show with j Foreign and Santy when.
Speaker 5 (25:45):
You need to know, No, we got you three things
you need to know on Buston's Number one for hip
hop and the best throwbacks you haven't any more Vives.
Speaker 6 (25:55):
There was no collision. There was no collision. There was
no collision. I want to start with the simple truth,
you folks, not us, nobody else in the courtroom. You
folks are the last line of defense, the last line
of defense between an innocent woman and a system that
has tried to break her. This case was corrupted from
(26:18):
the start. It was corrupted by biases and conflicts and
personal loyalties that you heard about, and most fatally, it
was corrupted by a lead investigator whose misconduct infected every
single part of this case from the top to the bottom.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
Who Daddy Al is putting on a show Friday for
those closing arguments Monday, June sixteenth.
Speaker 3 (26:38):
Listen.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
I watched them both, and I think that they each
did a good job of kind of wrapping things up.
Speaker 3 (26:47):
Daddy Al definitely more of a showman.
Speaker 1 (26:49):
Yeah, he was definitely cooking, as they say.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
I thought he did best when he kind of tried
to explain to the jury, like, here's what reasonable doubt is,
and here's how it could look when you guys are
in there deliberating, if you throw out the word might have, or.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
You say, but I think she could have done it,
But that is.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
All reasonable doubt, and that's all I was here to
prove to you that this whole case has been infected
by Michael Proctor, giving the entire thing reasonable doubt. Hank,
on the other hand, was like, listen, here's what it is.
John O'Keeffe was a good man and this woman left
him out to die in the cold.
Speaker 7 (27:28):
Jon O'Keefe was forty six years old. He's described as
a good man, kind, generous, thoughtful. He was a Boston
Police officer. He worked to help the community. And on
January twenty nine, twenty twenty two, John O'Keefe needed some help.
(27:51):
And there was only one person in this entire planet
who could help him that morning to give.
Speaker 9 (27:57):
Him a chance.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
And that one person.
Speaker 7 (27:59):
Who could help him that morning was this defendant right here,
Karen Glee.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
She made a choice.
Speaker 7 (28:07):
She didn't call nine one mone, she didn't run to
his aid, she didn't knock on a door. She made
a decision about herself. In her Lexus, she drove away.
Speaker 2 (28:23):
Karen is being charged of second degree murder, manslaughter while
operating a motor vehicle under the influence, and leaving the
scene of a fatal collision in the death of John
O'Keeffe on January twenty ninth, twenty twenty two. So the
jury got the case for a couple hours on Friday night,
long at all. They will be deliberating again starting this morning.
The big question one that we can never answer.
Speaker 3 (28:45):
How long is it going to take?
Speaker 2 (28:47):
Has long will it take for this jury to get
a decision?
Speaker 1 (28:52):
Listen, I'm convinced it comes back today because the rumor
is the jury was outparting this week and so wait
what rumor?
Speaker 3 (28:58):
We just said it. Well, we're gonna say, here's what
I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (29:03):
Can we make a group effort as a team if
anybody gets word.
Speaker 3 (29:06):
Hey, we have a we have a vertic, we have
a verte. We all text each other because.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
You never know, we all could be doing different things.
So we got to make sure we're all watching.
Speaker 3 (29:13):
All right. It was the trade herd around the world.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
But he's talking about it the Red Sox say bye
bye to Raphael Devers. He is out off to the
Giants and they are saying, Son that this trade is
going to go down in.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
Red Sox history.
Speaker 1 (29:25):
Yeah. I think it was probably the most shocking one
in the last twenty five years. I think he was
their best player, hands down by far, but he came
into the season a little bit heavier than he should
have thick and he didn't want to be a team player,
so it made sense to trade him.
Speaker 2 (29:40):
Well it listen, in return, they got three pitchers and
an outfielder and saved a lot of dollars.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
They got nothing, they saved some cash. They saved a
lot of cash because the guy was making like three
hundred and thirty mils so and.
Speaker 3 (29:51):
They're not doing that bad right now. We don't think
a game over five hundred.
Speaker 1 (29:54):
Yeah, but when you play in Boston, you expect them
to always be buying for for just the series, and
that's not happening.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
Coming from somebody that knows nothing about the Red Sox
or what's happening with them.
Speaker 3 (30:05):
With him gone, can they still do well at the seasoners?
Speaker 1 (30:08):
But it's not just him. The team isn't great as
a whole. But with him gone, they're definitely not going
to win the series.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
It just beat the Yankees.
Speaker 1 (30:14):
Yeah, but that's like, listen, if you're an amazing team,
you win ninety games and lose about like like eighty something.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
So, which is so nuts. Yeah, so they play how many.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
One hundred and sixty two, one.
Speaker 3 (30:26):
Hundred and sixty two games? Wild?
Speaker 2 (30:29):
All right, listen, it's not Deadham where things are always
popping off.
Speaker 3 (30:33):
It's happening in New York too.
Speaker 2 (30:35):
And once we get a verdict on this Karen Reid trial,
we can dig into Diddy because yesterday.
Speaker 3 (30:41):
His team filed an emergency.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
Motion to the judge because the prosecution got a jur
home jurn Number six removed. Basically, guys, there was discrepancies
over the residents of this jur He initially had told
the prosecution and the defense that he lived in the
Bronx with his fiance and his daughter, but later revealed
(31:05):
that he had moved to New Jersey with his girlfriend.
But he did claim that he even though he lives
in New Jersey, he still spends a significant amount of
time in New York. But this is a little saus
So the prosecution is like, he's got to go. Now
here's the issue. He's a black mail and the defense
is saying, this is the second black mail that you've
tried to kick off the jury, and you're doing this
(31:28):
on purpose because we know you're trying to get anybody
that is a mail or black off of this jury.
Speaker 1 (31:34):
Yeah, but this one comes down to like the Hey,
you can't lie about where he's living.
Speaker 2 (31:38):
Yeah, Well, the judge agreed with the prosecution and thought
it was shady and was like, you're out of here,
and he cited a quote lack of candor and saying
that him shifting his story suggested in an attempt to
remain on this jury dishonestly because he wanted to be
on the panel so much. An alternate jur has already
taken his place. But we'll see what happens. As of
this morning, because Diddy's team has filed that emergency motion
(32:01):
about this as of yesterday, they're objecting, saying it's quote.
Speaker 3 (32:05):
Calling the move harmful to the racial makeup of the
jury and warning it could discourage minority participation in future trials.
Speaker 1 (32:12):
Did you not think that we're gonna find out where
you lived? Right?
Speaker 4 (32:14):
It's fun though They always who's making files on a Sunday?
Like did got these people working on Father's Day?
Speaker 3 (32:20):
You know what coin good point did. He's like, we
will never sleep, we will get this done.
Speaker 2 (32:27):
That is three thigs you need to know for Monday,
June sixteenth, that Lil Wayne's gonna be hanging out at
the Expinity Center. That show is August the sixth. It's
going to be amazing. It's going to start on time,
and you guys are going to have the best day.

Speaker 10 (33:40):
And I do not think she is guilty. And I
am going to be refreshing my feed all week.
Speaker 3 (33:46):
I know you're I know, and thank you.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
I feel like that's going to be all of us
for the next couple of days, right, That's.
Speaker 3 (33:52):
Why I had to say that a lot. I was like,
we have to make a group chat where somebody because you.
Speaker 2 (33:56):
Know, Santi might be on IG when I'm not four
and somebody could be on while the other ones are
like living. So we need to be made made aware
if a verdict is in. I'm assuming we'll get at
least what like twenty minutes probably, yeah, to to kind
of get situated and find out.
Speaker 3 (34:14):
I mean, all right, so you think not guilty. Do
you think we'll get it today?
Speaker 4 (34:18):
I don't know.
Speaker 10 (34:19):
So that was the other thing. I wanted to shout
out all of the teachers. I am a kindergarten teacher
and our kids are actually graduating today. It's been a
long year, so I just wanted to shell them all out.
This is definitely a rough time for us, and we
deserve the summer off.
Speaker 11 (34:32):
Yeah, I bet I will be there, but I will
definitely be scrolling and refreshing as much as I can
whenever I get the chance, because I feel like We've
been waiting a lifetime for this verdict.
Speaker 2 (34:43):
We know we have and selfishly, I think Nick Rocco
is going to be in court in the courtroom today,
so I kind of want the verdict to come today
because that means we'll get first hand witness, you know.
Speaker 3 (34:53):
All Right, Well, I listen, I will keep you in
the loop. I got you girl, Thank you, you're guy. Yeah,
you as well. Well.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
When I found out the Nick was going to be
in there today, I did think that that would be
better for us.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
Selfishly, I'm still feeling like it's going to be today.
They don't want to deal with this for the summer.
They want this thing done by this week.
Speaker 2 (35:11):
Remember we have the holiday on Thursday, so Thursday is out.
Speaker 3 (35:14):
Yeah, they might be.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
Patrick is in Matta Fan, not to be confused with Mattapan.
Speaker 3 (35:20):
What is happening?
Speaker 9 (35:22):
Hey, good morning? How you doing?
Speaker 3 (35:23):
I'm good. So you were going to help everybody out

Speaker 2 (36:29):
Inquiring about it is You don't even want to know
the amount of traps that I'm looking at right now.
Speaker 3 (36:35):
We were going to have to figure out it.
Speaker 2 (36:36):
We don't have a dumb sticker, so we got to
figure out a way to dispose of it.
Speaker 3 (36:39):
But we got a lot of trash from this.

Speaker 3 (37:08):
What's going on with Katie?
Speaker 2 (37:09):
Before we take our issue with having a hard day?
Speaker 3 (37:16):
Should we help her or do we think it's beyond
our control?
Speaker 1 (37:18):
I mean, it's Monday?
Speaker 3 (37:19):
Why not okay, Katie? Why are you upset?
Speaker 8 (37:24):
It's Funday done day and I'm just having a hard time. Basically,
Father's Day wasn't a good day, and my sisters housted
me and made me look bad in front of everybody.
I really feel like I shouldn't have even gone.
Speaker 3 (37:40):
So what why were your sisters upset?
Speaker 2 (37:42):
I'm sure obviously they thought something happened where they thought
maybe you shouldn't be there.
Speaker 3 (37:46):
What happened? What did we miss?
Speaker 8 (37:50):
Well? I didn't get to go to my nephew's birthday party?
On Thursday, and I was kind of a sett about
that because I didn't know the address and this and
that because she didn't care if I went either way.
So I'm having some risks in the family and we
need to have a family meeting before we go on
our family vacation which is in like a month where
(38:11):
it so we go to Loon every year of in
New Hampshire.
Speaker 3 (38:15):
Yeah, oh yeah, I know all about lou Yeah.
Speaker 8 (38:17):
Yeah, it's our Annuel Chupka. We went a couple were
Kondo's and stay there. So I've done just failing really alone.
We don't worked in six weeks. My patient passed away.
Speaker 2 (38:30):
Let me stop you down for a second. Four, Santi
and I, We're sorry.
Speaker 3 (38:34):
Four and I. We're on your side, okay.
Speaker 1 (38:37):
Definitely, Okay, so you're not a little.
Speaker 3 (38:42):
He's not. I'm gonna be honest with you. He's not
on your side. He would definitely agree with his sisters.
Speaker 1 (38:47):
I don't know what her sisters have history. I know
that Katie didn't like one of the brothers husband's wives
or something like that, which caused a rift. So I
think it all stands to that. I think you guys
all need to come together and talk things out.
Speaker 3 (39:03):
Okay, but whose side are you? Katie? We got you though,
keep us posted.
Speaker 8 (39:10):
Thank you. I know you and Fourren always got my
back and I didn't get up early enough. I hope
you had a great party for a little j Z.
It looks like you put a lot of work in
it and everything because you are actually their their fave,
So don't worry about that one. Even if Dave looks
a little like the fireman, you're an awesome mama and
(39:30):

to Daz and and I hope everything went slowly. I
know it was a lot of work for you.
Speaker 3 (39:40):
All right, Well, thank you so much for the call.
Speaker 8 (39:43):
I appreciate having a really bad mental health time in
the last couple of weeks. And you know it's just
not easy. Life isn't easy.
Speaker 2 (39:50):
Well, don't cry, Katie, listen. I will work out and.
Speaker 1 (39:56):
So alone.
Speaker 3 (39:57):
Hey, hey, hey, you have us answer your call call
all the time. You always have us. That's why I
called you, and you can call us anytime.
Speaker 2 (40:07):
And I'm telling you you're gonna have fun in Loon.
I think you guys need to iron out a few things.
You always have your family and you always have us.
Speaker 8 (40:14):
Have My social worker said that if needs be, you
will go to the family meeting too, But they've only
it's not everybody. Actually I already picked up who's going
and who's not going. And my father is not Father
of the Year. He's not invited to the park to
the meeting.
Speaker 2 (40:31):
Okay, well we will not have your dad that. Remember,
we can't take shots of anybody. We just have to,
you know, figure it.
Speaker 8 (40:37):
Out, one day at a time. You guys in my
second baby, we got this.
Speaker 3 (40:42):

the day like that, come together.
Speaker 3 (40:59):

Speaker 1 (41:02):

thing of like morn and I fine. She calls me
all day and all night. You don't understand all My
cell phone.
Speaker 2 (41:15):
Six one seven nine three one one nine four five
six one seven nine three one one nine four five

Speaker 3 (41:24):
Hi everybody, good morning, It's Ashley the jam In Morning Show.
We're checking in on you. Six one seven nine three
one one, nine four five.
Speaker 2 (41:31):
Of course, if you want to join the show, you
can call us or you can leave us a talkback.
Speaker 1 (41:37):
Happy Monday, It's Kenn out of Rhode Island. Remember what
I said, not guilty today tomorrow with the latest? They
heard the real? Yeah, what's the real? Like the real?
Speaker 7 (41:49):
Sure?
Speaker 4 (41:49):
Uh huh realpel okay, the real closing arguments.
Speaker 1 (41:55):
Okay, but I do agree, not guilty by today tomorrow
at the latest.
Speaker 2 (41:59):
But yeah, I think not guilty or I think a mistrial.
I think all a hungary where they're like, hey, we
have to push a day.
Speaker 3 (42:06):
We can't come to a conclusion like last time.
Speaker 4 (42:08):
Definitely, no, no guilty verdict is coming out. But shot,
I would be shocked, so Karen, everybody would be. Everybody
would became out guilty if it comes out as guilty.
Are there riots?
Speaker 2 (42:24):
No, If there's riots, these people gotta literally look in
the mirror, take a long look at their life.
Speaker 1 (42:32):
There'll be a handful of people wearing pink wanting to
storm the court house trying.
Speaker 3 (42:37):
To break her out, Like, don't wear pink when you
do it. It's funny though.
Speaker 2 (42:41):
My mom just texts me she must just make sure
you give me the heads up when the verdict comes
in whatever day it is.
Speaker 3 (42:46):
So I can turn on the TV.
Speaker 2 (42:47):
I think that's what everybody's you know, everybody wants to
know when it's when it's going to happen.
Speaker 1 (42:51):
Because that moment, there's a suspense, there's a bill build
up to that moment of the final decision when they
when they call it out that She's like, you know,
it's hard not to push your off in that situation there.
Speaker 3 (43:01):
Yeah, I know. We said we're gonna have a group chat.
Speaker 2 (43:04):
Luckily Nick Rocco he's up and he's listening, and he
said the same thing. He said, when there's a verdict.
If I find out, I'll shoot you a text, just
so we're all on the high alert.
Speaker 1 (43:12):
The last time we were on edge of this for
a verdict was ah, for the trial, the first one. Yeah,
but even this trial last year. Yeah, the first time around.
Speaker 3 (43:23):
Yeah, you know what sucks.
Speaker 2 (43:25):
I don't feel like we'll ever be in here. Yeah,
because they don't start until like nine nine thirty, and
unless they went in there for four seconds and they
were like I always think it's going to be an
afternoon thing and we're talking about it in the morning.
Speaker 1 (43:38):
That's very true.
Speaker 2 (43:39):
Yeah, if they got into court earlier in the morning,
I would say we maybe have a chance.
Speaker 3 (43:43):
But with a nine or nine thirty star time.
Speaker 9 (43:46):
Now.
Speaker 1 (43:46):
The OJ one too, I remember, was in the early afternoon.
Speaker 2 (43:49):
You know what I remember about OJ just everybody standing
in the streets. Yeah, and I mean they do that
in debt Them. It's not to that magnitude, but there.
I mean, you know, we got Erica who calls an time.
She's there every single day. People are probably in their
cars right now driving.
Speaker 1 (44:03):
To Debtam just getting there.
Speaker 2 (44:05):
I think the traffic in Debtham is going to be
heavier now because we're so close and they don't want
to miss it.
Speaker 3 (44:10):
The ladies in pink don't want to miss it.
Speaker 1 (44:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (44:15):
I won't say his title, but a guy that works here,
his mother goes down there every day.
Speaker 1 (44:19):
His muther, that's right, his literal mother. He talks me
more about that is to me. But she's like really dedicated. Right.
Speaker 3 (44:25):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (44:27):
I mean I don't think people will riot, but I
do think there will be tears. I told you, son,
you guys will remember this. When Trump won the first time,
there was this compilation video that went viral. It was
like thirty seconds forty seconds, and it was women screaming,
crying and yelling into the air and like punching their
(44:47):
fists in the air. When he became the president, I
feel like we're going to get some tears.
Speaker 3 (44:53):
If she were to ever be found guilty, there would
be tears.
Speaker 1 (44:55):
I think we will too. But I think for the president,
I mean that last per term, right at the last
of four years. How long does this last for this
if it were to happen, right.
Speaker 4 (45:04):
She's found guilty, If she's found guilty, yeah, I think
these people go hand. But what's like for how long?
I think for a few months remain. Obviously there's gonna
be appeals and all that.
Speaker 1 (45:14):
I feel.
Speaker 4 (45:14):
So, you know, these people have dedicated, they live. They
do this in shifts like it's a job to them sandwiches.
Speaker 1 (45:22):
But on the fourth of July, are you out there
protesting in pink?
Speaker 4 (45:25):
I mean, if you want to, if you want to
stand on on and show that this wasn't just.
Speaker 1 (45:29):
A facade for you, a hype, you've got to do it.
Speaker 3 (45:30):
You got to if you guys get locked up. I
don't have the time to be down there every day.
Speaker 2 (45:36):
I can't love you and I support you and your freedom.
Speaker 3 (45:41):
I can't.
Speaker 1 (45:44):
Find someone new for the show.
Speaker 2 (45:45):
Stop do it because yeah, I might give you a day,
but after that, like I got a life.
Speaker 1 (45:53):
Yeah that's very true.
Speaker 2 (45:54):
Yeah, so either way, we're going to find out, and
you know, God willing, and you know what, maybe we
should do this too. If one of us hears about it,
will send the group chat and we'll put it in
our Instagram story like hey, verdict is in and it's
just so everybody has an alerts. Make sure you follow
us on ig at Ashley and they am Twoe's on
