Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wake, yo wake. Imagine being the host of a radio
show and then going to the printer to print something
and just not finding your way back. So now Ashley
is here missing because she went to the printer. Most
likely what happened, she's talking to somebody right, Na, she
went to the bathroom. I know what was going on.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
She looked like she had the bubble goods. This is
a secret between us, Okay, just us. She don't need
to know about this. She went to the quote unquote printer.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
Yeah, the printer doesn't take that long. The print is
like ten feet away. Good morn, it's not. I am
perfectly fine. My stomach feels awesome, So no issues there.
We are all good. We're positive. How about yourself, I'm
good brow. What do you end up doing incident? Well,
my daughters had basketball last night. They're in a summer league,
so that's it's fun because it's summer. But at the
same time, like these late nights we weren't planning for.
(00:52):
They just joined this league. Are they playing outside? No,
it's inside in the gym, which is another thing because
in the summers they don't have air condition I musty
in there. Yeah, Like the night before last it was
like one hundred and one in there. It was awful.
Last I wasn't as bad, but still like there is
a smell when you go in there.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Okay, okay, yeah, I've a What did I get into yesterday?
I think I was doing my yard yesterday, still trying
to lay some rot down and still in Instagram jail.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
That's right, because yesterday they two are being bamned.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
Yeah, and I put in their appeal for them to
be like, Yo, this is a story from twenty eleven.
Instagram did not care. They said not, You're still staying
locked up. So listen, I'm in jail when you told
what it was. I do understand why they were a
little bit concerned. I know it was a joke, but yes,
I get it. But that's twenty eleven, and it's a story.
That's my whole point. It's a story. Nobody can see it. Nobody,
(01:43):
only y'all at Instagram. Somebody at Instagram. Get me out
of jail, please.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
I can't take to them. One days of not responding
to DMS.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
Yo, I send out mad beings to people and I
cannot say nothing for you back.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
You're in it, what's good? Well, come get you we
stopped that shot at six oh seven. Every day.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
Oh my god, you're not gonna like you. You don't
think I would come down the hall and be like.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Hey, you know what you were doing? I am we
thought you went.
Speaker 4 (02:10):
A real team, a real team here, Thank you for that.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
I was literally right down the hall chatting with Kiss
went away that nothing crazy is happening with them, So
what's so?
Speaker 4 (02:19):
Anyways?
Speaker 1 (02:20):
Nothing?
Speaker 4 (02:21):
Okay, Yeah, it's fine.
Speaker 3 (02:24):
I just find it weird that nobody that just kind
of pissed me off. No one's gonna just yell down
the hall to come get me.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
It's a little weird next time. Anyways, Hi, we're back
and I'm here.
Speaker 5 (02:32):
Good morning, Actually Jamie Morning Show with DJ Feign and Santy.
Speaker 6 (02:38):
When you need to know, we got you three things
you need to Know on Boston's number one for hip
hop and the best throwbags you Haven't any more five.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
Thursday, June twenty sixth I saw this video going on
Instagram yesterday and it just reminded me my old self
being in Dorchester, hanging in my house alone on a
random Wednesday afternoon, and then all of a sudden, it
looked like in this poor young girl's video. It was
an earthquake, but instead a van struck a building. It
(03:11):
was right near a twenty four rail street. The van
had sixteen elderly passengers in it. Fourteen were taken to
a local hospital with minor injuries after the crash.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
And they're still looking into I mean.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
Why this, I mean, who you got to have a
responsible person driving the elderly bro.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Yeah, but if you pass them on the highway, you
can see that half the time they're not being attention
and most likely there's a situation where they were texting.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
It does make me feel a type of way when
I see certain drivers out there with passengers and they're
on the phone, like, we cannot, we cannot.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
I mean how many times have we gotten phone calls
from bus drivers And I'm always like, let's not ask
a follow up a question because we don't want to
really know.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
We don't want to know the school because we're fingers crossed.
It isn't one near where we live. No, I get it,
it's just you got to I mean, I know people
that have gotten in accidents and then I've seen them
on the road just like a day or two later,
and they're still back right on.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
The and by the way, a culprit of what I've
been on my phone.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
Yeah, yeah, I think we've all done it.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
Try to do it at stop signs and wait for
red lights or use like the voice to text.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
But I mean order in Starbucks when I'm on my
way here yesterday, I came pretty close to you're ending
a person. Well you know what I mean, because I'm
ordering like this, like.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
Your butthole goes immediately to you.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
Yeah, and then you put it down, you like look
around a bit.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
Yeah, It's just I just think, you know, for the elderly,
they have someone driving because they can't drive themselves, like
you gotta you gotta be better. So you know, we'll see,
we'll get a little bit more info. But fourteen of
the sixteen having to go to the hospital. That's not good. Broken,
that's really not good. Yeah all right, I'm adding this
one because I feel like, you know, number one, you
guys live in New Hampshire, but number two soda can
(04:51):
give us a little inside info here. Former mass Senator
Scott Brown has announced another run for Senate, but this
time in New Hampshire.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
So he moved to New Hampshire a few years back,
but back when he was senator here, they were talks
about him eventually running for president.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
He gives yeah president vibes.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
He was Senator for Massachusetts from twenty ten to twenty
thirteen before being defeated by Elizabeth Warren. He served also
at one point as the US ambassador in New Zealand,
and that was during DT's first term.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
So we actually lived in New Zealand there for it.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
And I remember that because I worked with his daughter
at that point and she was connection. So his daughter
is Alea Brown who is on the radio at one
of two five, who I used to work with. Great girl,
great family. She used to tell me stories like Donald
Trump would be calling him all the time. There was
all these security things that they would have to go
through when they went down or just like left the property.
But it was a great post for him.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
Ala also has this She's amazing. She just carries herself
like she she works for an online news company.
Speaker 4 (05:52):
Now they have a presence about here. Yes, you know
what I mean.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
Absolutely, they're all like, well, you know, the mom was
on the news for like thirty years, right, you can
totally new.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
There's a family of four.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Now there's another daughter which she doesn't really, she's not
in the media, but the three of them are really
they have a presence. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
He basically said he's running because he's just sick of
what's happened to New Hampshire. Borders are open, he doesn't
want girls having to worry about playing sports with guys
in it, and he said he just literally got fed
up with what New Hampshire has become now.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
Scott Brown like back in the day, I think he
was a model at one point too. But he is
a big triathlon guy, big runner, a big fitness guy,
and he's a really handsome man.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
By the way, his daughter Ala played ball at BC
like d One Hooper.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
I'm still I'm still wondering could you beat her one
on one? I think you could. I think you play
a little bit tougher than she does.
Speaker 4 (06:47):
I haven't seen her play. I really don't know.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
I mean, listen, am I putting myself against her and
anyone else in a shooting competition?
Speaker 6 (06:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (06:53):
But you must.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
I well, I have seen her play. I think you
can like body her down in the low post. But
she's yeah, but she is like flimsy.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
Yeah, well, hey, maybe listen for maybe you might want
to get up with them, get some some change to match.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
Okay, from what I've.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
Heard, we need downtown. Downtown doesn't have a few changes
all right.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
Round one of the twenty twenty five NBA Draft was
held last night. Absolutely zero people were surprised when Cooper
Flag was chosen first by the Dallas Mavericks with the
first pick.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
In the twenty twenty five NBA Draft, the Dallas.
Speaker 4 (07:26):
Mavericks select Cooper Flag.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
From Duke University.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
Nineteen points per game, seven and a half rebounds, four assists.
I'm a Duchie happy for Cooper. In the first three
we had him go. The Spurs took Dylan Harper, the
Sixers pook took vj.
Speaker 4 (07:44):
Edgecomb from Baylor.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
Brad Stevens actually used his first round pick. There was,
you know, chatter of him maybe not using it to
kind of get the Celts back some more cash money.
But the Celts chose Hugo Gonzalez nineteen years old from Spain,
a little baby from Spain.
Speaker 4 (08:03):
But it looks like he can help.
Speaker 7 (08:04):
He's tough, he's hard playing, he cuts, he goes after
the ball, he competes like he's got all the intangibles
of a winning basketball player.
Speaker 3 (08:17):
Can you imagine being nineteen years old and getting the
call that you're going to go play from the Boston Celtics.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
Yeah, I mean, but I have to think the basketball
here is a lot better than the basketball in Spain.
So can he really cut? Can he really do all these?
Speaker 4 (08:28):
My point guard at Northeastern was from Spain.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
Really, you're a ball probably better than the US players show.
That's why they keep reaching out over there.
Speaker 1 (08:36):
The funniest that I've seen, like all night was this
is the first time a white guy went with the
top pick since nineteen seventy seven. I'm like, oh my god, crazy,
go Cooper and he's.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
White, white with that name.
Speaker 1 (08:50):
They're like, I love him.
Speaker 4 (08:53):
That's that's dope.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
So Hugo.
Speaker 4 (08:56):
By the way, we'll have to figure things out. We
don't have siesta here.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
The only thing I really know about Spain is they
have their midday c Yesta.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
He's going to be in for a rude awakening like yes.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
Week practice in the middle the day, it's time for ant
Now He's.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
Like, I need to go to sleep. There's three things
need to know for Thursday, June twenty six. Don't forget
about the live stream, guys, just in case you're in
the car and you're going to work and you're like, damn,
I want to keep continue on, you want to keep listening,
you can literally just down the free app, make sure
you put on jam And that's also a way to
access the talkback feature if you don't know what that is.
Once Jamin is on, hit that little red microphone and
(09:30):
say what up? Good morning, Happy Thursday. We're one step
closer to the weekend.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
Dashy and the jam In Morning Show with DJ fourn
It's saw TPG Morning.
Speaker 6 (09:39):
Bustin's number one for hip hop jam in ninety four
or five.
Speaker 4 (09:45):
Hi everybody, good morning.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
I'd say there's a couple of videos on social media
that people would say expect from you son number one.
I would say they it would expect around the holiday
of Halloween season, be like, let me show you guys
in a video the back ways to get the Salem
and it'll upset the entire Salem community.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
That happens at least once a year.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
Absolutely, but it's it's it's tourism, So I'm helping the
entire town.
Speaker 3 (10:11):
Yeah, I'm sure everybody we know, let's take this opportunity
because I'm sure everybody is seeing your recent posts of
how you're trying to help people on social media and
they're like, what the hell is this?
Speaker 4 (10:19):
So maybe you could explain to people what you're trying
to do.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
So I do consulting on the side and I am
helping companies and people level up their content. So yeah,
so I kind of help the teaching people how to
shoot content.
Speaker 4 (10:30):
A lot of that, a lot of village home services.
Speaker 8 (10:32):
Yeah, and you always love a good like top five,
this top five, that my top my top favorite films
from the seventies, my this my that you usually around
this time.
Speaker 4 (10:44):
Do a top five beaches. Yes, so let's play a
little clip from that Top five.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
New England Beaches twenty twenty five edition. And there is
one beach on here that made my list that I
used to absolutely hates. Things have changed and say what
I'm wrong? Number three Hampton Beach, Hampton, New Hampton. I've
said a lot of bad things about Hampton Beach in
the past. There were fights, that's all behind us. They
were glass that's all cleaned up. But why this makes
(11:13):
the list this here is because of the nightline. You
get classic boardwalk vibes. They have weekly fireworks and they
also have arcades and by the way concerts and some
of the best fried dough around. Why Hampton Beach made.
Speaker 3 (11:28):
My listen trying to decide if fried dough out weighs
death at this point. But you did say in there,
you said, hey, let me know if I'm wrong. Yes,
got a little something else for you.
Speaker 5 (11:39):
Kobe develop points to where a straight bullet hit he's
car a Hampton Beach Tuesday night.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
You didn't even know our cargarhood.
Speaker 5 (11:46):
Devilla's car was one of three hit during a drive
by shooting on Ocean Boulevard near Church Street around eight
thirty Tuesday night.
Speaker 9 (11:55):
Just heard it.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
It was nang nang. I actually ducked up there because
I was in the window.
Speaker 5 (12:00):
Police say eighteen year old Devarius Ruez fired from a
moving car, injuring three people in the three cars, before
leading officers on a chase which ended about thirty miles
away in deer Field.
Speaker 4 (12:12):
The old bang bang bang bang bang, sweet sounds of
Hampton Beach. Marshfield didn't even make the top five. Hampton
Beach does, and now we got straight bullets.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
I was wrong. My whole point was that the nightlife
made that beach like very special and again, going back
to the past, I would always say there were too
many fights out there, and there was fights every weekend.
It was on the news. But I think I have
to put it back into the bad list. Yes that's awful. Yeah,
I don't awful.
Speaker 4 (12:35):
Oh no, I don't.
Speaker 3 (12:36):
I mean again, I don't even know if you put
any beaches from the Cape on there.
Speaker 4 (12:41):
The name of the Cape beaches.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
I did. The number one beach was down in p Town. Ok.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
Yeah, get to know, because I'm like whales, I could
think of three rate in my neighborhood that might be better.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
But name another beach that has good night life though, right,
there's really none here.
Speaker 3 (12:54):
Yeah that was it, But now it's all of the dice.
You want to go out at night at Hampton Beach.
Speaker 4 (12:59):
That's that think.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
That's the unfortunate thing is because the boulevard is so
packed and popular, it just attracts all kinds of people. Yeah,
it's just it's I was wrong, and I want to
apologize to anybody whoatch sent there, who may have been
there like that night based off that video, because yeah,
I need to take take the just.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
The summer in general, people are out and about. But yeah,
I'm hot. Yeah, dude, I just wonder, like who rolls
around with a gun like that? And what was the
issue that you felt like you needed to Like at
the beach, I know, someone disrespects you, look at you wrong.
Remember he'sid. What was he eighteen?
Speaker 1 (13:32):
That's what they said.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
I think they said he was an eighteen year old,
and you know they just they think different. Man, anything
is offensive. So it's like yeah, and and and just
for anybody who goes to Hampton, stay in the middle,
like wait, it's nice and bright, right in the of
the street, stay in that area, right by the fried dough,
the ice cream and all that. Once you start getting
to the edge of the the faught end where you
got to turn around, or in the beginning parts of it,
(13:55):
that's when you might you might run into some trucks.
Speaker 4 (13:57):
Like the middle of the boardwalk.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
Stay in the middle of the boardwalk and you'll be
straight Hampton Beach. Was I almost got like actually killed.
How So this was like early on, it was probably
in two thousand. It was my first night club appearance
and all this stuff through the radio stations. So I
was having so much fun, like this is awesome, and
it's one of the first times where I got recognized
at a bar. So this guy, yeah, I think his
name was Jake. So he's hanging out like all night.
(14:20):
By the end of the night, like it's just empty.
It's like, oh, what do you do when you want
to come over to a house party? And he seemed
like a nice guy, but he didn't have a ride,
so I said, all right, then I'll take you home. Then,
so I took him home. He walked in this house
and it felt like I was about to get killed,
not by him, by the two people there.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
Now there was only four of you at this part.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
There were four of us. Two of them I felt
like were waiting for me. Jake lured me there and
I had to get out really fast. And to Florren's point,
it was on the marsh, this random building that wasn't
like a house party type.
Speaker 4 (14:51):
Tyle doesn't sound well lit.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
So going giving back to that, like Hampton Beach is
probably not a safe place you should be.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
So where you're staying in the middle and here saying
it's bright, that means like there's the lights of the.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
Boardwalk, the buildings is the restaurants, hotels, Yeah, hotels, like
all that place is very busy and congested, but it's
it's a certain the middle part of it is way
to the brightest. I don't think people who are trying
to act up really do too much because it's kind
of little darker at the at the front end of Yes,
it's a little dark at over there.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
So it made the top three, though, is now we're
gonna have to question all of these videos because this
is and by the way, that got sent to me
seven times.
Speaker 4 (15:28):
Yeah, like, hey, actually you know that this I'm like,
I know.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
But if you listen in the beginning of that, I say,
I admit when I'm wrong. Well I was wrong once again.
Yeah again. Hampton Beach will never make the list again.
That promise Beach is out.
Speaker 3 (15:42):
But still if you had say Hampton Beach, King Beach
or Revere Beach with the Beach with Hampton with the
bullet Hampton Beach, you heard that here first, you know, honestly,
this is a good day for Revere Beach. Then Revere
Beach is winning today, Hampton Beach is now taking the crown.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
Especially the Jamie Morning Show with DJ Foreign and Saunty.
Speaker 6 (16:03):
When you need to know, no, we got you three
things you need to know on Boston's number one for
hip hop and the best throwbags. She haven't any more?
Speaker 3 (16:11):
Five all right Babes Thursday, June twenty six and more
than a dozen people taken to the hospital after a
van crashed into a door Chester triple decker. It just
I was saying earlier, reminded me so much of myself
back in my single days. Probably sitting there, this young girl,
she's probably on like her twelfth episode of God only
Knows what, just chilling, and all of a sudden it
(16:33):
looked like a literal earthquake kind of hit the apartment.
But no, it was a van filled with sixteen elderly passengers,
fourteen of which were taken to a local hospital with
minor injuries after the crashes. Like these people can't drive themselves,
they have to have a driver. And what is happening now?
I always do go to there's two things here, Like, well,
(16:53):
there's an investigation on the crash is on going, so
we'll learn. But what if the driver had a heart attacker?
Speaker 1 (16:58):
Okay, that's a pass Okay, but wouldn't you know that
from the get go that that happened.
Speaker 4 (17:03):
I feel like you're right, what I mean like they report.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
That, yeah, he'd be in the hospital. Now they're investigating
because like what.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
Happened because they didn't say fourteen were taking to the
hospital plus the driver.
Speaker 4 (17:13):
They just said fourteen.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
I mean, yeah, the drama could have been part of
the fourteen I know.
Speaker 3 (17:17):
But I say this to say when they say, hey,
there was a plane crash, they usually say fourteen passengers.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
Plus the staff, the pilots, the flight attends. They don't
usually lump in.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
And we've all passed these people too. They're on the phone, texting,
not paying attention, So that's that has to be. It
happens all the time.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Could have been a caramedel function, so I think I
think it's more so a distraction, which if that's the case,
that's a big lawsuit coming day way, whatever that facility is.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
And by the way, we're speculating. But I do want
to say texting and driving is so bad. And I'm
speaking from experience, because sometimes I will be like this
is horrible. I will be looking at my phone and
look up and I'm like, damn, I don't even know
how how.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
Did I get to it?
Speaker 4 (17:57):
From A to point B. I didn't even realize I
was like it's bad, and I.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
Always think to myself, nothing is worth it, Like nothing
is that important that I have to look at my phone.
And number two, I'm not trying to bring the room down.
May he rest in peace. That is how my grandfather died.
Speaker 4 (18:12):
He dropped it. He was driving. He had gone to
my dad's football game.
Speaker 3 (18:17):
He was driving it his coffee in his hand and
his phone dropped his phone, put the coffee down to
go down and get his phones.
Speaker 4 (18:23):
He wanted his phone so bad and he drove off
the road.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
And that is how.
Speaker 4 (18:26):
That's how my pop up died. So it's like I
think about that.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
Sometimes I have dropped stuff on the ground and because
of that left it. Even if I'm gonna be in
the car for two hours, I can't play these games.
Speaker 4 (18:35):
But it's bad.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
But you get a feeling in your body that you
have to pick it up.
Speaker 4 (18:38):
You do, I know you have to fight it.
Speaker 1 (18:40):
Do you have out the do you have the car play?
Because you can text to that and sometimes I do that.
Speaker 4 (18:43):
That's what I do. Extra steps though, and it because
I'll be like.
Speaker 3 (18:47):
Text Santi and foreign Karen Reid is not guilty, and
they'll be like Karen guilty on charges.
Speaker 4 (18:54):
I'm like, no, no, no, no, no, no, that does not
It doesn't always pick up what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
Try. It's like a get the milk?
Speaker 1 (19:06):
What do you say?
Speaker 4 (19:07):
Do I put seven ms in this text? I?
Speaker 3 (19:12):
Yeah, me, honestly, I sometimes I go at it with
that person in the car, but an't have the fun.
Speaker 4 (19:18):
I'm no, I'm feeling at the car all right.
Speaker 3 (19:20):
Round one of the twenty twenty five NBA Draft was
held last night. Absolute zero surprises. The Cooper Flag from
Duke went first to the Dallas Mavericks with.
Speaker 4 (19:30):
The first pick in the twenty twenty five NBA Draft.
The Dallas Mavericks select Cooper Flag.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
From Duke University.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
Cooper Santi said it was the first white guy drafted
number one since t.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
When nineteen seventy seven. Crazy, Is that right?
Speaker 4 (19:48):
That's what they were saying that last night.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
Yes, it's wild. And also then I was thinking, like,
would it have been a good idea to trade Jalen
Brown for the number one pick? I mean I would
have taken that in a heartbeat. No. Well, the unfortunate
thing is Cooper's not really proven, but that's a big risk.
Speaker 4 (20:07):
Yeah, And I also think like morale is down right now.
Speaker 3 (20:10):
We said bye to Drew, he said bye to Christophe Perzingis.
I think everyone's just like, let's take it, let's take
a breather. But I will tell you the NBA, you know,
like news network whatever. The Instagram account is said, there
is a rumor the Jalen Brown trade rumors are happening.
Speaker 4 (20:25):
Yeah, they definitely are. As for after.
Speaker 3 (20:28):
Cooper flag, Dylan Harper from Rutgers went to the Spurs
at number two, and the seventy six years at number
three drafted VJ.
Speaker 4 (20:35):
Edgecombe. But obviously you only care about the Celtics.
Speaker 3 (20:37):
Brad Stephen used his first round draft pick at number
twenty eight.
Speaker 4 (20:41):
The Celts took Hugo Gonzalez.
Speaker 7 (20:44):
He's tough, he's hard playing, he cuts, he goes after
the ball, he competes like he's got all the intangibles
of a winning basketball player.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
Guys, he's nineteen, yeah, nineteen years of a little babe.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
My biggest concern is can he handle the heckless from Medford.
That's an issue you handle.
Speaker 3 (21:08):
So many people that have played in the city have
said like it's a blessing and a curse because there's
no stronger fan base.
Speaker 4 (21:14):
But they'll cut you quick. I mean, the second thing start.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
To go wrong, it's people are pointing fingers and throwing blame.
Speaker 4 (21:20):
It's not it's not easy.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
Well, our expectations, they're championships, and that's where that stems from.
Speaker 3 (21:25):
Yes, agreed, all right, And lastly, I'm gonna try my
best not to throw shape right here, because I did,
I know and get it. But Silento whomevers Soilento? Now way,
now watch me in a you know, you know the song.
Speaker 4 (21:38):
He has officially began his thirty year prison.
Speaker 3 (21:41):
Sentence this week. Okay, his mugshot got out shaped head.
He was processed in Georgia, I believe, for his involvement
in the shooting death of his.
Speaker 4 (21:50):
Own cousin, Frederick Rooks.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
Now his team mentioned, Hey want you guys to know
he's super apologetic. He's dealing with a very long standing
mental health crisis, and he also wants everyone to tough.
He wants everyone to know that he will be continuing
his music career while in jail until January of twenty
(22:15):
fifty one. Honey, what music career? What other song can
we name here?
Speaker 1 (22:20):
I mean they weren't specific, so could he be. Could
they mean that he'll be performing for the inmates right?
Speaker 3 (22:25):
What?
Speaker 4 (22:25):
Maybe?
Speaker 1 (22:25):
Prim Maybe?
Speaker 3 (22:26):
I mean, listen, some people are they got one song
and that's great.
Speaker 4 (22:30):
We called them one hit wonders. I he might have
had another.
Speaker 3 (22:33):
Couple, but he's he plans to continue making music. I
don't know when he was making it in the last
ten years.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
I was gonna say for him, you maybe know better
than I. If you're dropping more.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
No, I haven't. We haven't heard of soilento since then?
Speaker 3 (22:47):
Have we whipped a innate in the club in I
don't know very long time.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
You drop that in certain sets and it goes yeah.
But now when you when you realize, like the dude
is just a stone cold killers, you know, you think
twice you.
Speaker 3 (22:59):
Might not want to whip and man just depending on
the crowd, that's yeah, Okay, well, hey, we'll be We'll
be staying tuned.
Speaker 4 (23:05):
Tim and Tory Lanez. Maybe they could have a joint
in our county.
Speaker 3 (23:09):

say about podcasters.
Speaker 1 (24:09):

Speaker 3 (24:11):
Let's just say he doesn't feel like everybody deserves a microphone.

six one seven nine three one one nine four five
call us because we're talking about any you want, whatever's
on your mind. You can just call and say what up?
Tell us a story anything. Erica is in Boston, Erica.
I I just I love that you're saying this, and
I would pay the amount of money for you to
just come sit in this studio with me and imagine
(25:14):
having to report serious things across from that. But go ahead,
tell everybody, tell everybody what you want to say.
Speaker 1 (25:21):
You see, he's already doing it and I real I
know it's like you're you'd be saying the most serious
things and you just hear him.
Speaker 9 (25:30):
And it's just like it's like.
Speaker 4 (25:32):
Come on, Saunty, like crazy, but then it's hilarious too,
and I just I love it because of the equal balance.
Speaker 9 (25:38):
Words like this guy's crazy and then you're just like,
I'm being serious, man, and then you're like, you know what,
I can't.
Speaker 4 (25:44):
No, I'm not.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
I tell people all the time. It's like I have
to have an internal war. It's like I'm fistfighting myself
because I'm reporting the news, like hey, so and so
is dead.
Speaker 4 (25:57):
They're only forty years old. And I look up at
him and he's like.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
And then goes, do you think do you think maybe
he was, you know, doing something like the usual one?
Speaker 3 (26:07):
And I'll be like, and the family said they were
all together and they died peacefully.
Speaker 4 (26:11):
How do you know?
Speaker 3 (26:12):
And it's just like, you know, can I just report
this and get through it? Because you know, but this
is what he does. He's infamous for making this one sound.
When he's really really holding it in, he'll go.
Speaker 4 (26:25):
Because he's like, yeah, I've had to dying right now.
Speaker 3 (26:32):
This is a real thing like I will have there
there's news stories I have to do where I can't
look at it, and when they're both doing it, I
can't even.
Speaker 1 (26:39):
Look at it.
Speaker 3 (26:41):
I have to yes, yes, yes, yes, I had to
kick them both out and Erica, this is real.
Speaker 4 (26:46):
It had to be like leave because you're making me
laugh like that.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
I have to look look out the window and think
about the most horrible things.
Speaker 3 (26:55):
Can't afford to. I'm the one that has to report
the sad stuff. But it this way. When I was
doing Mornings with Frankie Erica, he had such like he
he had such trouble reporting like the hard like sad
news that I had to do it.
Speaker 4 (27:09):
I've been stuck with this duty for sometime. But you
know what I'm saying.
Speaker 9 (27:13):
You know, and you said Sonia won't be doing it
if you come. And now look now he's sitting in
front of you laughing in.
Speaker 4 (27:22):
A plane crash. They love that one with the plane
crash questions though.
Speaker 3 (27:29):
Yeah, yeah, well, Erica, we love you for listening and
thank you for.
Speaker 4 (27:32):
That, all right, of course, love you guys.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
Bye bye.
Speaker 4 (27:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:35):
I know it's not on purpose, but certain things will
be said, and I want to laugh so bad.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
It was one like a couple of weeks ago, and
I was it was a serious story, but I was
struggling with the name. And I just remember that Santi
like giggle and then was like and I'm just trying
to ignore them because somebody was dead and it was.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
Dad, not just one. Yeah, and you were saying the person.
Speaker 4 (28:04):
Yeah, both of you. I'm just like, Wow, it's it's tough.
Jeremy is in Mattapan, Hi, jag of morning. Hey, what's up?
What's going on? You want to give a special shout out?
Speaker 2 (28:17):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (28:18):
I wanted to shout out my brother Joshua.
Speaker 9 (28:20):
He always asked me to call in on like Sunday.
He's walked up right now, but he always asked me
to call in.
Speaker 4 (28:27):
So today I just wanted to call in and.
Speaker 7 (28:28):
Say, be listening.
Speaker 4 (28:29):
Well, adult, it's not Sunday. Will he still be listening?
Will you hear this?
Speaker 2 (28:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (28:34):
I hope so? Okay, Well, you know, is this his
first stint?
Speaker 9 (28:41):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (28:42):
No?
Speaker 4 (28:44):
Man, I was hoping you said.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (28:46):
I was gonna say, well he's learned it. Hopefully he's
learned his lesson, but doesn't seem like he has.
Speaker 1 (28:50):
But you know, it was never too late to learn,
you know what.
Speaker 4 (28:54):
I like that attitude. It's never too late to learn,
since he will disagree.
Speaker 1 (28:58):
Also, it is if you're doing life, is he doing life?
Speaker 4 (29:08):
Nothing? Tell him to go to conissary and relax. Shout
out to Joshua.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
Also, your son's last day of pre school?
Speaker 2 (29:22):
How does how does that?
Speaker 4 (29:23):
How does that make you feel because that's upcoming for me?
Does that make you feel old?
Speaker 1 (29:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (29:30):
I mean the time is fine.
Speaker 1 (29:31):
You know, it's exciting.
Speaker 4 (29:33):
Uh, you know this is cool, Jeremy. A fun fact
for you that I can remember this specifically.
Speaker 3 (29:38):
Sante and I were leaving the building, I don't know,
a month or two ago, and I said, I don't
I don't think i'm gonna like when the girls go
to school because I'll be so sad that I might
get And he was like.
Speaker 4 (29:49):
Oh, yeah you will, Yes, you will, because you'll get
time back to yourself all that stuff.
Speaker 3 (29:55):
I'm like, oh, I don't think so, because I'm so
used to having them there.
Speaker 4 (30:00):
Do you enjoy school time?
Speaker 1 (30:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (30:03):
Definitely does No, I know what is that?
Speaker 4 (30:08):
Because I don't know.
Speaker 9 (30:10):
He's like, you don't have nothing to do?
Speaker 8 (30:12):
And you like out?
Speaker 4 (30:15):
I know, all right? Jar well, thank you. Send her
love to Joshua.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
All right.
Speaker 9 (30:20):
Definitely guys have a good one.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
Obviously, crime depending you know, and we're not sending love
if it's something crazy. Yeah, no, I don't that life
is as far from me. But I'm in my head
right now thinking I don't want to be at home
without them.
Speaker 4 (30:33):
That's so weird.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
First the first few days, maybe even the first week,
you're going to be balling.
Speaker 3 (30:37):
You already know the first day I drop Leila off
if I'm not coming in here because I will be
because I because I'll never get to drop her off,
so I need to be there for that first time.
And then after that though I can always be the
pick up person.
Speaker 1 (30:49):
Ye cool for us. Was putting him on the boss
my like oldest one. Oh my god. I went in
the garage and cry.
Speaker 4 (30:56):
It's gonna remind me of like coming back from maternity
le bon.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
You know, it's not that you get over that quick
open on Saturday. Needs to drink six?
Speaker 4 (31:10):
Why does it have to go to that. It's just
Mama needs time.
Speaker 1 (31:15):
It's your name.
Speaker 3 (31:15):
I might involve that, but she means time six one
seven nine three one one five six one seven nine
Hi everybody, Good morning. It is Ashley and the gam
In Morning Show. We're talking about you, your life, your world.
Speaker 4 (31:32):
Anonymous is in Fitchburg. Anonymous, you got a lot going on?
Speaker 9 (31:40):
Yeah, So I recently found out that I was pregnant
around foremost. So my boyfriend had patients. He's been together
for about all five years now because reached the moore
of your market made. But I told him that I
am not comfortable with my child being around his parents
(32:02):
because they have made like racial comments and have even
tried to bribe me out of the relationships with want me.
I told them that they're never gonna see my grandkid unless,
like they fully apologize and see what they did was wrong,
instead of trying to cover up it, would excuse it
and basically saying, you know, we're young and they just
(32:24):
have never experienced this. I feel like once you make
racial comments about someone that you don't know, I feel
like that's where it draws the line. And my boyfriend
still think that they should be a part of their
life because you know their grandparents. But at that point,
I don't feel like blood even matters if you're just
(32:44):
gonna see me as an opportunity to try to you know,
break their relationship just because I'm lacking.
Speaker 3 (32:53):
Well, listen, first and foremost your mom, and that's your kid,
and whatever decision you make on this is the right
one for you and your baby and all of those things.
Speaker 4 (33:03):
So that's that's what I'll first stand on.
Speaker 3 (33:05):
The second part of it is I understand Dad's fight
of like, well, I want, you know, my family to
be involved.
Speaker 4 (33:11):
How old are you, guys?
Speaker 9 (33:14):
We're twenty he's twenty two.
Speaker 3 (33:17):
And how far along are you? Okay, so baby baby's
cooking in there.
Speaker 1 (33:24):
Yeah, this is a tough one. I think it might
take time for his parents to really like understand because
some parents aren't exposed to different cultures and races. I
think it's going to take him speaking to his parents
and educating them on everything.
Speaker 3 (33:36):
Were they making these comments before you got pregnant, Like
did you always kind of have a bad relationship with them?
Speaker 9 (33:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (33:43):
Okay, And he's never defended you to them or told
them hey, like.
Speaker 9 (33:49):
He's he has like the reason why I like we
moved out so young because you were checking him out
for being with me, like while we were in high school.
So we moved that on our own, and like we
have our own place now and like now we're growing
out with family, but you know it's never progressed, like
they even tried driving him with family Like your younger siblings.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
You guys are twenty and twenty two and you've lived
on your own since high school and able to afford.
Speaker 4 (34:18):
Wow, that's crazy head on their shoulders.
Speaker 2 (34:21):
And I'm telling you like this, Anonymous, I kind of
have the same situation with my ex devil in law,
And all I'm gonna say is listen, like I kind
of felt the way you felt, because you know, she
would say things, you know what I'm saying, and I
kind of was like, I don't know if I want
my kids around her like that, But she shows to
(34:41):
her credit, and y'all know I don't like her. To
her credit, she was she's an absolute angel to my kids.
You feel what I'm saying. You just gotta fill that
out and see, they might treat your kids different than
they treat you, which sucks and it's not the way
the world should be. But like I said, she treats
my children, her grandkids.
Speaker 1 (35:00):
Like the angels. You get what I'm saying. Me and
her have a beef.
Speaker 2 (35:03):
Whatever she said to me in the past was what
it was, so maybe you give it an opportunity and
see how that go. And then if it's if it's
something where you feel like they're mistreating your kids or
you know, you feel like they know they sliding your
children for whatever reason, then you have that conversation.
Speaker 1 (35:18):
But at least give them that.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
You don't have to have a relationship with them, but
let them, let them at least try to build that,
and then you kind of just monitor that and make
sure it's right. Have a sit down with your with
your with your husband, boyfriend, and tell them, hey, look
it's cool they can go there, but if I start
feeling like they acting out a place of treating my
kids any differently, then we're gonna it's a dead stop.
Can we agree on that? And if he agrees to that,
which I think he will, you go from there.
Speaker 3 (35:40):
And Babe, I also want to throw And I mean,
you're twenty myself, foreign SCIENTI we're older. You know, we
don't between the three of us, do we have any
living grandparents left?
Speaker 4 (35:49):
Does anybody have?
Speaker 1 (35:50):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (35:51):
So you know I would do anything to get a
day or two back with my grandparents anything, And so
you know, I like foreign idea, maybe give him the
benefit of the doubt, see how it goes, like a
little trial run, and take it from there. But again,
I mean, you got to make the decisions that are
best for your baby, obviously, and I do think your
(36:12):
husband's gonna have to be cousin boyfriend whatever. He is
the one to, you know, sit his parents down and
be like, listen.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
Got a little while. By the way, congratulations Anonymous. I know,
I know this kind of threw you into a little
but congrats on the baby.
Speaker 9 (36:26):
Baby so much.
Speaker 3 (36:27):
Yeah, well, what do you think about that? Is that
something you'd be willing to try?
Speaker 9 (36:33):
I feel like it's good to be something that I
have to think about. Like, his mom is like the
number one like offctive person. Like it's like a lot
of traumas that he's like left on me. So it's
going to take time for sure. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (36:52):
But the baby, the baby could change her though.
Speaker 3 (36:55):
Yeah, like the bay I baby could change my mom
My mom is somebody new with my kids. I don't
know this woman. She doesn't even say the word no.
It's wildly insane.
Speaker 4 (37:06):
So you never know. But we'll be thinking about you.
Speaker 3 (37:08):
So, so you're due dates in if you're four months,
what like November ish?
Speaker 4 (37:13):
Yeah, okay, well you have to keep us posted.
Speaker 3 (37:17):
I will Scorpio baby, You're welcome by.
Speaker 1 (37:25):
Coming those situations. So my wife's grandfather made some comments
when we first started dating, and he was not happy.
Joanne March right over there, put him right in this place.
Speaker 4 (37:34):
I love that.
Speaker 1 (37:35):
Keep her, keep it. But it's tough to come back
from because those comments.
Speaker 2 (37:38):
Yeah, I know they're there. Yeah, you might not talk
about it no more, but you know that's what you're thinking.
Speaker 3 (37:43):
You have that mindset, and I mean that, that's you
saying that to her. I think it's a big thing.
It's like you're putting your pride and how you feel
aside that the kids have that relationship.
Speaker 4 (37:51):
Hopefully she can. She can do that. If the grandparents
can ast cool, that's.
Speaker 1 (37:56):
All it is.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
And if they are not, then, like you said, she
has those are your kids. Those are not their kids. Yeah,
take the do what's best for your kids and don't
keep them around any effort, you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (38:06):
Yeah, for in your ex mother law doesn't sound that bad.
Speaker 4 (38:10):
Hear what she says. We need to know what she
was saying.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
