or five.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Hi, everybody, good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Ashley in the jam In Morning Show, we're checking in
on you six one seven nine three one one nine
four five call me.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
We're talking about anything you want. Tricia is in land.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Trisha.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
I was just saying how music can literally take you
back to an exact moment, and then Santy said, gosh,
it's the soundtrack of our lives that stuck that this
man has been dropping some dimes today. You also have
a no scrub story. Can you remember where you were?
I do?

Speaker 4 (00:39):
I was.

Speaker 5 (00:40):
I was cleaning my house. I was in the bedroom
cleaning my room and my my so called man was there,
and my oldest daughter came in the room in section
I think she had a single, and she said to
me because she didn't like him and she knew he
was no good for me, and she said, mom, you
need to listen to this song and she put it
on while.

Speaker 6 (00:59):
He was.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
Mom, please listen to Chili.

Speaker 5 (01:06):
Please.

Speaker 7 (01:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:08):
So, needless to say, that relationship ended because he couldn't
he was he hollered at me from the from the
passage side of the vestment.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
I love it, Tria, thank you for the call that
it is truly wild. How songs can do that to you?
Just take you back to a.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Time and place again soundtrack.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
I know enough.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Well, who do you want to talk to? Hi?

Speaker 4 (01:33):
Roe Hi?

Speaker 3 (01:36):
I hope no one on this show agrees. But your
boss is psychotic?

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Yes, so you're a personal assistant for a roofing company.
We're obviously not going to say what roofing company? But
what's give me give me two examples as to why
your boss is psychotic?

Speaker 4 (01:57):
Okay, well, he'll ask me. So he wanted to do
a deal. I did a deal. He wanted to buy
some property. Helped him find it. He kept saying, Oh,
I'm gonna give you three thousand dollars if you can
get me the information for the property. I said, great,
no problem. At first, I thought he was joking. First year,
I didn't do it. The second day he walked in,
he goes, hey, do you get that information? I said, yeah, yeah, yeah,

(02:18):
I got the information. Hands in the information and I said,
so how do I get to three thousands? Oh? Whoa, whoa,
whoa that's not what I said.

Speaker 5 (02:26):
I'm like, what do you mean.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
He's like, no, I said it was if I bought
the property. I'm like, oh, that's not what you said.
His wife was standing right there. She's like, that's not
what you said. I'm like, all right. Then, the last
three days it's been oh, come to work my normal time.
I get to work, or I'm two minutes from work
and he'll say, oh, just take today off. I'm like,

(02:49):
are you crazy. He's like, yeah, just take the day off.
I'm like, okay, and then I'll call me half an
hour later. Oh, coming at this time, meet me at
nine o'clock. I'm like, did you share her?

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Okay, because I was about to say he sounds great.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
But then if he's telling you take the day off
and then he calls and says you're not off come
in at nine, that that yeah, that's crazy.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Yeah. So it's just you know, he's besides that, he's
the best boss in the world. Like when he's on
his game, he is fantastic.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Wow, well you know what, he's keeping you on your toes.
Never a dull day with that.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
Boss, No, definitely, not, definitely not so just wants call
and just talking.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
I love it, bro, and listen, everybody's got everybody's got
a crazy boss.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Thanks for the call.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
What what is one aspect of me that you guys
would say is a little psychotic.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
I don't think I would use the word psychotic. No.
I think your mood change is if we have stuff
to do and I think you have to make a list,
and you get really like direct him, It's like, I
don't know why you're what's bothering you? But we'll get
it all done. But besides that, yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Like if we have a meeting or something and the
things we have to record or something, I definitely am
just like we have I'm not playing games with you two.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
We have you seeing d to get done in.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
My favorite though, is if I ask you for like
a guest, then you're like, yeah, you know what, let's
just have him on the day of your stressed out.
And then you're taking that on on me. I'm like,
you told me to book this person. Why are you mad?
I don't understand.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
It comes down from the top. Okay, it's not me,
it's it's above me.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Danny is improv Danny wants to ask a question about
the Super Bowl halftime show. I thought we explained this
early this week, Danny, But go ahead and ask your question.
Santi loves to answer things like this.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
Well, yeah, they said that Ken's not getting paid for
the Super Bowl.

Speaker 5 (04:38):
I think he did what they asked.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
He left some things out of his rhyme.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
So oh, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
It has literally nothing to do that. They actually get
paid scale, so they'll make a thousand bucks just because
of like the union rules. But overall, if you do
the halftime show, you're doing it for the exposure. Not
saying that he has to have that, but that's just
the way that it is. So no artist in the
history of the halftime shows it has ever.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Got I don't get paid, Danny, none of them.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
And it's hard to correct me if I'm wrong.

Speaker 6 (05:04):
They got to pay for all this stuff, right, Like,
whatever you want to do in the show, you got
to a certain.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Budget to a certain point. The NFL will pay for travel,
all that stuff. But say you want to get crazy
and do this and that, then you have to pay
for all.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Like I tell you right now, they're not covering four
hundred backup danswers that Kendrick had, so he had to
come out.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
He had to come out of pocket for that.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Yeah, that's crazy.

Speaker 6 (05:24):
But the payback is in the is in the back end,
because now his stream numbers are going to go up.
He's going to get you know, if he has merch
it's going to sell out. His music is going to
be known by a wider audience as big as we
think that Kendrick is. They speak on the middle of
America who probably have no clue who is.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
I mean my dad, My dad had no idea and
then asked me about him, and who you know. It's
just it's Do I think that Scott's now streaming him?

Speaker 3 (05:47):
No, I don't think he knows what streaming is, but
he now knows who he is. And that that's about that.

Speaker 6 (05:52):
I'll give you a thousand dollars and I'll promote you
to three hundred million people.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
What would you take it.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
It's the biggest game, it's it's it's the biggest stage.
But that is a that is an interesting fun fact
that none of them get paid. And I think people
don't understand.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
That well, as far as they clearly have the money
to pay. These people like a lot too, they do,
so true, right, so true?

Speaker 3 (06:10):
All right?

Speaker 1 (06:11):
What do you think we don't have any more time,
so if you want to take a call to get
really quick.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Okay, Tamor is in Bristol, very quickly. Your man is
home after three years. Was he in a one bedroom
apartment with you know.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
This call will be recorded?

Speaker 7 (06:25):
No, not really? What do you mean that one bit?

Speaker 4 (06:28):
Well?

Speaker 2 (06:29):
Yeah, yeah, I'm trying to be nice, honey. He was in, Yeah, yeah,
he was in. He was in a one bedroom apartment
that some people call a cell.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Yes, yes, but he's he's back.

Speaker 7 (06:41):
He's back, he's back. I called, I called lout a
year ago and we talked about it and I was
telling me that, you know, I go and visit every
other month, and he's been not pay much. Everything's been great,
loving it, family's good working. Shout out to a program
called GreenWorks in Pavity.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
It's just awesome. I'm doing this thing, so I love it.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
He's stayed out, he's staying out of trouble.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
You held him down, Oh yeah, you know it?

Speaker 7 (07:09):
Well, yeah for sure.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
Keep that keep that man on lock.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
If you had to say tomorrow, just out of curiosity,
is he struggling with anything like acclimating back to the
regular life.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
Is there any struggles that he's having or is he.

Speaker 7 (07:24):
No, No, he's actually good. He's more outdoorsy though. He's like,
I want to go outside.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
You know, I love it. You're like, it's cold out there.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
I don't.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
I don't want to go outside.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
And then the ultimate question, how does freedom taste for him?

Speaker 1 (07:41):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (07:42):
He's loving it. He's loving it, loving it, loving it.

Speaker 5 (07:45):
We're doing awesome.

Speaker 7 (07:46):
He's happy, super happy.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
Well, I'm gonna be very honest with you.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
I don't remember the call from a year ago, but
I can guarantee when you hung up, Santy said, y'all
wouldn't last.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
So I'm so glad. I'm so glad, so glad that.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
You all back.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
I'm so glad you called back.

Speaker 7 (08:03):
I love them though, I love you guys. You listen
you guys in the morning. You guys are awesome.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
See if I'm going with you doing tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
We love you. Thank you for the call. I know
you said that. I just I don't even have to
rehear it.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
Good time, guys, He's gonna rob a bank like next week.
