Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wake Joe wa.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Wow, Hi everybody, good morning. How are we feeling? Do
we stay up later? Are we feeling groggy?

Speaker 3 (00:14):
We did?

Speaker 4 (00:14):
No, I just don't feel it now, which is.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
It hasn't hit me yet.

Speaker 4 (00:18):
Yeah, but usually on a Monday when we've been up late,
like I feel like death. But I feel fine though.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
I said to myself at the end of the third
I'm done playing this game. I waited till the half
of the halftime show, and I did think to myself,
should I go to bed now? But I couldn't have
another falcons happen to me. I just thought I was
just too afraid of it now. I'm petrified of that happening.
So I gave until the end of the third. But
you know what I could see in Pat mahomes eyes,

(00:44):
It wasn't happening.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
No, he just wanted to give the ball to the
other team. Consistently from the.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Start of that game, they were Everyone thought they were
destined to make history, and the history that they made
was on the negative side. I mean, Travis Kelle not
catching a single pass in the first half has literally
never happened in his career. Pat Mahomes was throwing the
ball to the other team. The Eagles looked like they
were there to have fun, and they looked poised and relaxed.

(01:12):
Jalen Hurts put on a literal clinic. Pat looked something
was off with Pat man. I felt I wanted to
hold Pat last night.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
Yeah. Yeah, they couldn't do any nothing.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
At one point, the announcer goes, they haven't even made
it past the fifty yards.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
But I was just like, what.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
Sack after sack after sack. I was like, damn, you
know what.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Though I'm from Collingswood, New Jersey, fifteen ten to fifteen
minutes from Jersey from Philly, right over the bridge, like
I grew up. All my friends were huge Eagles fans.
I was so happy for them last night. They because
they will. They were drinking since six am. They were
so excited. I mean it was it was a time

(01:54):
for them last night and they I love Eagles fans,
and I'm I'm I'm happy they had their time.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
Well, they're hard cores. I think people don't understand. They're
probably the closest thing to Patriots fans, like you'll come
across like Boston fans.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
They take it very serious. Yeah, they really do. So
Philly was.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
I'm sure some cars got burned or flipped over last night.
But listen, if somebody would have said to me, hey, Ash,
this is what the score is gonna be at halftime
of the Super Bowl, I would have bet my life
against that also.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
Going into it. I don't know what it was I had.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
I think the I think the over like the total
number was like fifty nine point six for Travis kelcey yards.
You could bet the overfit was gonna get over fifty
nine yards receiving or was it gonna get under? My
dad's like, buddy, should I should I bet this? I said,
I would go under. I don't know what it was.
Maybe it was that hideous outfit that man walked into
the game with. It was something in me that was saying,

(02:48):
was what was that happen?

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Somebody say he looked like about.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
I could see it, you know what it was very seventies. Yes,
something about it.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
I don't I just the hair, the outfit, I don't.
I felt by the way, you know there's big talks
of him that was it?

Speaker 4 (03:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Can he go out like that?

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Is the question?

Speaker 5 (03:06):
I mean.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
I don't think you have a choice. I think you
have to end on a high note of your career
and he's on the tail end of things, like he's
not as good as he was even five years ago.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
I asked Pat about it.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Pat Mahomes after the game and he was like, I
think he has a lot more football left than him.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
Probably, But then he has so much stuff going on
on the other end of things that I would I mean,
it would make sense if he walks away now and
then he locks it down. Can we talk about his
arms since we're here. He his arms do not look
like he's in the NFL. No, But it's not about.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Because you do this.

Speaker 4 (03:38):
When you look at somebody who plays football, you expect
him to be jacked, especially like him, But his arms aren't.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
That's a quarterback.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
It's different. Oh, it's different. But if you're a tight end,
like you should have some size his arms like.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Other tight ends.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Gronk are calling him the greatest of all time when
it comes to the position anything else.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
His arms aren't great.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
You're not catching ball.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
And he's still putting numbers any bag.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Taylor Swift, no offensive. Joanne's very nice.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
You guys put it like that. Yeah, arms are great.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
The hell, but no, we have we have a ton
to discuss about this game. There's just so many thing
between the.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Game itself, the halftime show.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
The ads, the the ad with the special appearance. I've
never been more blown, I said, are my eyes working?
Am I seeing what I'm seeing? I know you guys
know what I'm talking about. And I, by the way,
not just because they're like our local brand to us.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
I think Duncan one for the.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
Ads absolutely destroyed. Just it's the.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Only one that I really found myself like audibly laughing at.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
They just like have a full understanding of who they are,
but they also have fun with it too, like you know.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
But we must remind ourselves that Lash year the female
featured was j Lo. Yeah, they got rid of j Lo,
and I will if you didn't say it, I will
tell you who they brought in next. I thought when
he lost before, but last night, Winnie, when.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
He took a big, big l it wasn't just the Chiefs.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
We'll talk about an accident.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Show with DJ Foreign and Santy.

Speaker 6 (05:24):
When you need to know, we got you three things
you need to know on Boston's number one for hip
hop and the best throwbags.

Speaker 7 (05:32):
You haven't any more vibes.

Speaker 4 (05:46):
Personally myself.

Speaker 8 (05:47):
I've just been able to use every experience and learn
from it, the dude, the bad, all other using it
as too to pursue my own greatness. And I think
I couldn't do in any of these things without the
guys arm And you know, we got it. We had
a special group this year. We were able to learn
from the past and get some get some nice new

(06:09):
pieces and get.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
Over that hume.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Monday, February tenth, there he was, Jalen Hurts MVP.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
That's a good looking man.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
I said it last week and I'll say it again.
Bradley Cooper slept well.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
Yeah, last night.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
It was an amazing, amazing time if you were an
Eagles fan.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Forty to twenty two was the final in Super Bowl
fifty nine to twenty four had nothing at halftime. I
couldn't believe my eyes.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
Yeah, the momentum was just one way. The entire time.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Pat Mahomes looked like a different person, like there was
something different about him last night. I don't know what
Brittany did. Let's blame her. I mean, no one likes
her anyway.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
They just had a baby. It has to be that
he's gonna happen.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
In the middle of the night, something was up with him.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
By the way back to Jalen two and twenty one
yards passing, seventy two yards rushing, three total touchdowns, two passing,
one rushing.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
He just looked like he was having fun out there.

Speaker 4 (07:10):
Yeah, and there were a couple of passes that he
threw were just absolutely perfect, and it looked amazing coming
out of those nice sculpted arms too. It was awesome.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
Okay, so he passes, he passes.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
The test for his arms are good.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Yeah, yeah, we know, the second Super Bowl title in
franchise history.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
Again, being from the area, nobody slept last night.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
I mean, these fans, these Eagle fans are so die hard.
Bradley Cooper was asked once by Howard Stern would he
rather an Oscar, an Oscar like that's what he works for, yea,
you know, or the Super Bowl victory from the Eagles,
And he said, hands down, no question. I know I'm
gonna sound crazy, but I want the Super Bowl that bad.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
He did the introduction for.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Them, so John Ham introduced the Chiefs and Bradley by
the way, as soon as they showed John Ham and
getting ready to welcome the Chiefs, I said I know
it's gonna be there's no question.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
But he was holding a kid. Who's whose kid was that?
Because I know he has a daughter.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
He doesn't have no Yeah, I just think it was
another fan, like you.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
Just picked up a random kid.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
I don't think it was random. I think he was
on the sideline for a reason. So there was a
lot of celebrities at the game last night, the biggest
being the President Donald Trump.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
D T was there. Did you guys see DT's tweet
this morning? I did, you guys?

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Will the last thing you will be about this one
is shocked, he said. The one the only one that
had to tell for a night in the Kansas City
Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got booed out of the stadium.
Mega is very unforgiving.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
It's it's crazy to see like, like a person so
honest about everything and being at the game, because most
people would have just ignored it, not said a word.
He's right to his phone.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
It's like, don't you have bigger things?

Speaker 2 (09:03):
When she got booed though, that like little clip of
her that's obviously going to become a mean because she
looked at Ice Spice, who she was there with, and
was like wait what and she goes what is that?
You can see her mouth, like, what's going on?

Speaker 4 (09:14):
What is it?

Speaker 2 (09:15):
They were booing her so bad. But again, that's that
has nothing to do with maggot. That's just Eagles fans. Yeah,
I don't care about a tailor swift in a white
tank top and jean shorts.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
And that's what it felt like from the beginning, like
the Eagles were the favorite, like the fans like they
wanted them to win.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
They were the underdog, I think, and people people like
to root for the underdog. All right, So now we're
at halftime, it's twenty four to nothing. Outcomes Kendrick Lamar,
and he did give us a little a minor.

Speaker 9 (09:47):
I'm goin't you tie your.

Speaker 4 (10:01):
They not like uh no, they not like us.

Speaker 8 (10:03):
They not like us.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
All Right, we have a lot have we got to dissect.
We have a lot to say.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
First off, I want to start by saying I want
everybody's review, all three of us. This is coming from
a Drake fan. By the way, I was entertained. I
see this morning.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
There is a.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Ton of backlash people. It seems like the internet is
pretty much split. Yea, whether they loved it or whether
they hated it.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
I was entertained. Now, do I think this man is
a bit obsessive when it comes to the Drake stuff?

Speaker 2 (10:31):
Yes, but Drake gets the same platform Drake want, wins
the beef. Drake has a hit like not like us.
Drake's doing the same petty stuff. Of course, He's coming
out in a chain with a miniature A. My dad goes, buddy.

Speaker 10 (10:46):
Is his?

Speaker 3 (10:46):
Does he have a kid with the letter A name?

Speaker 2 (10:48):
I go, Dad, and I would explain it to you,
But I don't think it has anything to.

Speaker 4 (10:52):
Do with that.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
I really don't.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
The inclusion of Serena Williams right away, my brain didn't even.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Go to that's Drake's ex. I thought she's from Compton, but.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
Now she is, so it could it could have dual meaning.
I thought the production on it was crazy. I thought
the inclusion of this guy was amazing.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
It's awful saying this.

Speaker 11 (11:22):
American game.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
I saw some people saying that they didn't think there
was enough sizza. I can see it. It was quick.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
The only thing I'll say negatively is I did find
myself waiting for the next big app person to come out.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
I was like, who's it going to be? Who's it
going to be? Mustard didn't do it for me.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
I just said I wasn't enough. But overall, I will
say I was entertained.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
I was santi.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
I liked it, and I compared it to when I
went to see Hamilton. Hamilton is one of the most
amazing shows I've ever seen. It's it's it's spiritual, well
story telling, it is absolutely amazing. This performance was much
like that, and I felt like just just just the
same way, I was like, wow, this is beautiful. Now,
I don't think it translates well to a Super Bowl
halftime show because I felt like it was missing like

(12:11):
a spark, like like a bigness about it. But it
was beautiful, it was amazing, storytelling was really really production
was awesome.

Speaker 12 (12:17):
Yes, sure, yeah, that's what That's what people were waiting for,
was for the energy, which I think if you're looking
for Kendrick for that kind of energy, like party energy,
you're not.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
And I don't know him. You know that's he's not.

Speaker 12 (12:27):
And at the same time, you gotta also remember like
these are people who don't know you neither. They might
know this one song, but they don't really know you
as an artist. So he took the rest and he said,
you know what I'm gonna be, Kendrick. I'm gonna keep
you know, give you some political kind of little innuendos
here and there, some political gems. But I was like you,
I was waiting for the powerful way he started looking
at the camera, smile and call it Drake's name.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
I know that crazy.

Speaker 12 (12:48):
He went before they showed before right before Fox went
to cut to the halftime show, I saw flags which
they didn't show on their performance, but those flags of
the a minor symbol with little kids pointing at it.
No big massive flags that they were running on the
field with, but they didn't show to the performance. I
don't know why, but I've seen him right before they
came out, and I was like, this dude got flags

(13:09):
of a minor.

Speaker 4 (13:10):
This is crazy.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
But now it was when it comes he first off,
let me also, it would be remissive me not to
mention his jeans are trending this morning, and it was
the first thing I noticed.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
I was like, is this man in women's bell bottoms?

Speaker 4 (13:24):
I watched it the same thing they.

Speaker 10 (13:27):
Could.

Speaker 3 (13:27):
You couldn't help, but no, they're Selene jeans.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
They probably cost god only knows, but it was I said,
I was taken aback by.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
The gene choice. But all in all, yeah, I just
you know what the tough part is.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
I think he did have to make a decision do
I do the songs that people all know or do
I not. He decided to stick to himself and do
his thing, which is cool. But for somebody like an
average NFL watcher, Let's just use my dad for example.
My dad knew nothing, knew not a singular song, knew nothing.
My dad's not the best because he's on the older end.

Speaker 12 (14:02):
Was watching again watching You got all demographics so they
speak for there.

Speaker 4 (14:05):
Who was like, what is this guy like?

Speaker 2 (14:07):
He had no idea, He had no idea he was
when he saw Serena Williams, he was like, what the hell?
What's But yeah, I just I think there was definitely
a want of me to see somebody else.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
I knew. I knew it wasn't going to be a
Tailor Swift, but I was really hoping for another.

Speaker 12 (14:22):
At the same time that he got this book in,
he got buked with this joint because of the disrecord,
because of that one. Let's be honest, he's a talent,
but they didn't reach out to him because he was like,
oh my god, we got to go get Kendrick to
do the halftime show because he's amazing. No, they got
him because he was on a streak with a disrecord
and that's why he and.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
The whole time like here, like even listen to his teaser,
there was a build up to him doing it the
whole time.

Speaker 9 (14:44):
I want to perform their favorite song, but you know
they love the suit, so maybe I think about you
know what, I slow it down, say, ladies, do me
this son.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Yeah, like the fact that he could get sued like
it was. Does Drake watch it?

Speaker 4 (15:08):
I think he hit I think he does. He did
not watch that.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
I don't think he watched it.

Speaker 4 (15:14):
He watched it live.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
But I think.

Speaker 12 (15:15):
He's going to eventually watch it and people are gonna
come come at him his team and be like, dog,
he smiled at you.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
Yeah he's he literally said Drake and he just some
mild at the camera. Everyone's like, that's a meme for eternity.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
I do think a Drake halftime show would have had
the energy though, of.

Speaker 12 (15:33):
Course, because Drake is gonna come out with heads. Yeah,
that's what Hendrick does not have. Hits of that type.
He hits them all like I'm giving you stories, I'm
giving you little you know what I mean. But can
I say this now we can retire and not like
us thank you for I think it's open actually have
reached the pinnacle.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
I'm so sick of hearing it on this show, but
I liked hearing it last night because there was the
build up for it.

Speaker 12 (15:57):
I was anxious the song has done what he needed
to do. Yeah, and never once have you seen this
song climb the charts like this, win Grammys and then
be at the super Bowl. Yeah, I think it's tom
what a hide. Let's just retire it and we can
go back to regular bars.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
I like that. I like that.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
Speaking of programming the ads last night, listen, I can
name a few that stood out to me in a
sense of I always love the Budweiser commercial that's always
a tired with the Clydesdale's with the baby horse that
was like you can't he said you can't come.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
Then he made it all the way to the bar.
But nothing to me topped the dun Kings.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
And I am not saying that because it's US and
it's Boston and it's our type of commercial, Like it
really made me laugh out loud. Yeah, And it was
just a snippet of the actual commercial that was six
and a half minutes long. If you haven't seen it
in its entirety, you must.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
You will. You will cry laughing.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
But beyond the commercial, I text you immediately and I said,
I I cannot believe what I just witnessed.

Speaker 4 (16:54):
I was shocked, shocked. I wasn't expecting that by any means.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
Never forget that.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
Winnie from Kiss went away down the Hall had beef
with Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Jordan, who is a cheerleader.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
From Bridgewater State.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Champions A champion. You know what, my bad? A champion.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
Shout out to Jeorge, a champion cheerleader from Bridgewater State.
When he said cheerleading was a sport, wasn't a sport?
Jordan's come to a try out, But I want to
see you try This woman was in She was in
the super Bowl commercial, right next to do She was
standing next to Bill Belichick, her boyfriend in a suuperbal commercial.

(17:33):
Winnie has lost for eternity. Whinny can't come back from this.
Whinnie is Drake in the Drake and Kendrick.

Speaker 4 (17:38):
Beefne's done and let's look about it. I don't know
at what point they went public, but there was recent
like like she went from the girlfriend now to the
super Bowl. Bill's ex wife.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
Wasn't this Linda was a big part of his life?

Speaker 4 (17:54):
You know what I was thinking.

Speaker 12 (17:55):
I almost feel like the thing that they did at
the NFL Honors when she went viral copa o't fit, Yeah,
a rollout.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
Could have been. She's recognizable now.

Speaker 4 (18:05):
And then by the time she hits the super Bowl,
it's all gonna connect.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
I mean, whoever does this for Duncan? And is it Ben?
Is Ben part of the production.

Speaker 4 (18:13):
Behind this team?

Speaker 3 (18:15):
Is amazing they are We've always said that about that.
He is just like their Instagram good at what they do.

Speaker 4 (18:23):
They just get it.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
And by the way, you can buy the outfits that
were in the ad. It's their juicy couto. She was
wearing the Juicy dun King's little suit like. She didn't
speak in that ad, but she didn't have to watch Pis.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
She the for man?

Speaker 2 (18:40):
I'm trying to explain it to him and he's just
looking at me like I'm crazy, I said. She stood
next to Ben Affleck. Okay, she is in She got
paid big bucks to be in that and do nothing
but smile.

Speaker 4 (18:52):
Before this, there was a part of me that was
hating a bear, like like, what is she trying to do?
Now she's elevated to this point. I respect it because
whatever she's doing is working, and whatever she has must
be absolutely magical because Bill is doing yes to everything.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
Billy Bill will do anything that girl says. I don't
know Instagram, that's not something. I mean, I couldn't believe it.
But but seriously, if you haven't seen.

Speaker 2 (19:16):
The ad in his entire you must, because it was great.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
Any other ads that you guys can think of that you're.

Speaker 4 (19:22):
Like, I mean, for me, just a David Beckham and yeah,
that one.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
And we had kind of seen a few going into it.

Speaker 4 (19:32):
I want that great though, Let's let's put over the one.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
That's another one that's I had no idea that there
was women's flag football.

Speaker 4 (19:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
I actually thought that whole commercial was like a joke
the whole time until the very end they were like,
let's get women's flag football in all fifty states.

Speaker 3 (19:47):
Professionally, I was like, excuse me, what?

Speaker 4 (19:49):
I feel like? There was a championship last week and
I was explaining to my darters about this because they
were playing like in the finals.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
Yeah, I had no idea. The Nike Women's commercial was
like powerful. I remember. I remember thinking that in.

Speaker 4 (19:59):
The one two with the mama said knock you out.

Speaker 12 (20:06):
And runs home. That was kind of powerful. But again
the commercials to me was.

Speaker 4 (20:11):
Yeah, Dorita's one was nice too, but they're always funny.
But I but you couldn't like, remember it was some
alien with the Doritos.

Speaker 3 (20:18):
I remember that one. Yeah, no, you know what.

Speaker 2 (20:19):
Which one stood out to me as well where I
was like, I am all set on this. The coffee
Mate cold Foam one where the guy's tongue was flying
around the stream.

Speaker 4 (20:28):
Did you the tongue commercial?

Speaker 3 (20:30):
I hated that so much, My god, I hated that.
I thought to myself, is this what is this?

Speaker 4 (20:34):
That was the one where all the tongues were and
like hated it.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
I don't like looking at a tongue apart from a
body like that. I think that was that was out there.

Speaker 4 (20:42):
And then also to the fact that these tongues are
moving around like that, like I felt uncomfortable with my family.
It was strange, it sexual.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
Listen, I understand the thought process when you have foam
or something in your cup and you're like trying to
lick it out to get it with your sip. Okay,
but I just I didn't that. I was not I
don't like seeing tongue remove from the body like that.

Speaker 3 (21:01):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
All right, we don't have a ton of time, but
obviously we have to talk about the fact that the
I'm not really sure how to describe what it was,
but we'll just say Yay's twitter was twitter ring. There
was so many topics. I just don't have the time.
We'll do it throughout the show to go over. But

(21:22):
you know, he went from Cassie to Kendrick Lamar to
Taylor Swift to a lot of porn over the weekend. He,
by the way, has since deactivated his account. He had
some things to say about the Super Bowl. The last
thing he had tweeted before he left was basically him
just saying, this was cathartic for me. I was able

(21:44):
to kind of, you know, get everything I wanted to
say out there.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
I got my thoughts out.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
It kind of almost felt like I was doing ayahuasca.
I appreciate Elon for letting me have this moment good
night and goodbye. He has since deactivated his own own account,
but he did before he hopped off, say and make
it very clear to everybody that that that it was him.
He's lucid, he's happy. These are just the thoughts that

(22:10):
he has and how he feels. But he has a
major concern for Kodak Black. So I saw this video
of him saying this, which I'll play in a second,
and I had not seen the Kodak video.

Speaker 3 (22:21):
Hadn't, so then obviously I'm like, well, damn, I need
to see what's.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
Going on with cot. I was so sad watching that video.
I felt so sad. Now, mind you, the internet this
morning is saying that it was all stunt and that
he's fine and that he was with his friends.

Speaker 3 (22:38):
And that's fine if people want to believe that.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
But if you look in that man's eyes and you
try to tell me that that that that's not drugs.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
I like, he's not. He was.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
He was laying on the in the middle of the
street eating chicken with his buddies because they were filming him.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
So it's not like he was by himself or anything.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
But as Sanchi would say, certainly cry for help and
when crazy is recognizing it.

Speaker 3 (23:03):
That's when you know.

Speaker 13 (23:05):
I know, y'all thinking I'm going through something right now,
and I see my I got bags into my eyes.
But I just saw a video of Kodak, and I
wouldn't want nobody to do an intervention on me. That's
why I wanted to put this video up because y'all
might think, oh, man, ya really going through right now.
Somebody need to go get him. Oh y'all go take
his Twitter and stuff like that. But I'm just telling

(23:26):
you calmly that I am in a good space.

Speaker 4 (23:31):
I'm really in.

Speaker 13 (23:31):
A positive space. It's cathartic. I got my ideas out.
That's all that happened, and that was very freeing for me,
and it's worth everything.

Speaker 4 (23:40):
It was worth everything to do that. Just saw it there.

Speaker 13 (23:43):
Now I've seen this video my brother Kodak, and I
feel a call and he's actually wearing this Donda chain
and how he's sitting here wearing his chain unless something
saying that go and give my brother. And thought about
it before, I was like, man, I should go down
to Miami. Maybe I could be the person that could

(24:06):
make a difference. And that's what I'm about to do
right now come.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
To find out he was in Atlanta and Yay said
he was about to hop on the PJ to go
to Atlanta to save Kodak Black.

Speaker 3 (24:18):
He needs sleep, Yeah, he need something.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
I think no sleep could be like pat itself, but
he needs he just needs sleep.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
He's something is going on.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
I by the way, I know that he said that
doctor diagnosed him with autism, and I'm not taking away
from that, but I do I still do think two
things can be true. Yeah, it's hard for me not
to believe that he's b because he.

Speaker 3 (24:43):
In that video he did seem fine, like he.

Speaker 12 (24:46):
Was just like that's how bipolo hits you. You know, when
you when you're in it, you you think everybody's against you.
Why you're saying that I'm crazy? I'm not crazy?

Speaker 4 (24:53):
Yeah? Cool?

Speaker 2 (24:54):
He sold and is selling on the website right now.
The sweatshirt that did he abused Cassie in his comparison
was it's not right that you guys want Diddy locked
up and to go away forever. When Kendrick has been
accused of beating his wife, but yet he's able to

(25:15):
perform at the halftime Super Bowl show, Which one is it?

Speaker 4 (25:19):
He said he beats me Matto.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
He also said said he also said that he's wild.

Speaker 4 (25:23):
Yeah, and then he played I don't even know how anyway.
I told you guys, she's a prisoner.

Speaker 3 (25:27):
There's not enough time. I might lend to that theory.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
Now that's three things you need to know for Monday,
Feb the tenth.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
Don't forget about the app, guys. It's an easy way
to listen to the show.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
You can add as your preset down the free iHeartRadio
app search as h l.

Speaker 3 (25:40):
W and hits A little plus we want to mean
in pre sc Dashy and the Morning.

Speaker 1 (25:45):
Show with d J four and it's Sun Big Morning Bustin's.

Speaker 7 (25:49):
Number one for hip hop jam in ninety four or five.

Speaker 3 (25:54):
How fitting coming out of Scissa and Kendrick. I liked
Siss's inclusion last night.

Speaker 2 (25:59):
And being part of the performance. It was fast, vocals
were on point. Yeah, Yeah, she was quick, she was in,
she was out.

Speaker 4 (26:05):
She's beautiful.

Speaker 3 (26:06):
Oh, she's stunning. She's stunning. But I also felt like
I was waiting for her the whole time, like where
is she? When is she coming? We knew she would be.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
So many things happened last night, and so many different
things are trending, but one of which, if you start
typing Kendrick Lamar, Kendrick Lamar jeans is legit in the
top three things that pops up.

Speaker 3 (26:28):
This man came out last night in a pair of Flares.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
It was the first thing my eyes went to because
they were like a little tight around the button thighs area.

Speaker 12 (26:39):
And then it's kind of weird to me because this
is what he's been wearing ever since he did his
LA show, all his videos.

Speaker 3 (26:45):
This is the same and I don't know him like
that and or follow him. So I was like, what
am I looking at?

Speaker 2 (26:53):
Turns out I was looking at a fifteen, one hundred
dollars pair of Selene jeans. But everbody, everybody was talking
about these bell bottoms. Like some of the tweets had
me in tears because again so many people were talking
about them.

Speaker 3 (27:12):
They went viral.

Speaker 2 (27:13):
You probably can't even get the pants right now. Somebody
said he did all that in kickflares. Imagine your op
being a little cutie Patuti and flared jeans like Kendrick Lamar.
Can't believe Kendrick did all that in the most Hannah
Montana looking bootcut jeans. I have seen in years. Kendrick
has bootcut jeans, a five to five frame, and a

(27:35):
hater mentality.

Speaker 3 (27:36):
I can respect that. Kendrick really a bad little bitch
in these jeans. I need them? Can he drop the link?

Speaker 2 (27:43):
Kendrick looking a little thick in these boot cut baby
fat like it is crazy.

Speaker 4 (27:51):
In fashion for a little bit in the scene for now.

Speaker 3 (27:55):
You know who I picture wearing them? Offset? I'm pretty
sure I've seen offset in a pair.

Speaker 12 (28:00):
Yeah, a lot of artists, a lot of these hip
hop artists. It's kind of like a trend right now.
It's been going on probably for a couple of years.
Stacked them flaes, it says.

Speaker 2 (28:06):
The flare jeans on Kendrick Lamar, who stands at five
to five. They really keep throwing that little man's height
in there. Quickly went viral, with one user calling the
halftime show the best ad for jeans I've seen.

Speaker 4 (28:17):
In a while.

Speaker 3 (28:18):
It was I cannot picture you in flares?

Speaker 4 (28:21):
Yeah them all the time? What jeans I'm telling you?

Speaker 2 (28:25):
But are they are they flared all the way down?
Because I don't like picture them tight on your butt
and thighs.

Speaker 12 (28:30):
It depends some of them. Some of my favorite ones.
I kind of fitting at the top part. Then the
kind of flare his art.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
That's why people are calling them kick flares because they
hit because like you know, they were a little snug
on his booty.

Speaker 4 (28:44):
In his thighs too. I think they look bad at
the issue that I have with them. They were little,
just too long where I feel like he was stepping
on the back of them, which kind Yeah.

Speaker 3 (28:51):
Well that gave very two thousand.

Speaker 2 (28:54):
Yeah, you would walk on your jeans and they would rip,
and then you would have the little like tail. Yeah yeah,
I mean I wear flared leggings sometimes, like like a
little flare at the bottom. But yeah, I just again
I don't know his style like that, And that was
the first thing my eyes went to. So I am
not shocked in the least that these things were treming.

Speaker 4 (29:15):
Well, it was more shocking. It was his height. I
didn't know he was five five and stood next to
normal people. It was like, well look at the little guy,
I know, you know, it stood out.

Speaker 2 (29:26):
Yeah, cause that's another thing, like Drake, you got beat
out by a short king as well, Like that's tough.
The one thing visually that stood out to me when
I was like dang he is he is small and
he is in flares is When the dancers became the
American flag, I thought that was so dope.

Speaker 3 (29:42):
That looked so like it visually felt so.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
Good on my eyes. I was, like, I remember saying
to my dad, like how cool was that? The production
was next level? We knew it was going to be,
And how dope was it when they came out of
the car and everybody was just crawling out of the
car the trunk.

Speaker 4 (29:57):
Storytelling wise, I haven't seen a halftime performance that was
like that. I told an entire story was great.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
But like you should see my dms though, Like, people
are so mad that I said that I thought it
was entertaining, But that's what I mean. It's creating a
really big divide online right now of people loving or
hating it.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
Guys, you can think two things can be true.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
You can say that it was entertaining, but you also
might say I didn't know any of the songs I knew,
I knew the ones we play.

Speaker 3 (30:21):
I'm not a Kendrick Lamar fan, but I thought he
did his thing out there.

Speaker 4 (30:25):
You can also say it's entertaining, it was still missing
something that's okay.

Speaker 12 (30:27):
To say, yeah, people who just came just to see
energy and just vibs and Patty hits. It probably was
not the the halftime show for you.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
I really think that if you know the background and
you know the beef between the two, you were like, damn,
I mean you yeah, if you if you know that part.

Speaker 4 (30:44):
Of it, I didn't know that the A for an
okay now.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
And I did finally foreign get a view of.

Speaker 4 (30:51):
The flag the flag crazy.

Speaker 1 (30:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
Well, and now I think it's solidified that the A
on his chain was for a minor because it's a.

Speaker 3 (30:59):
It's the same A.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
It's lower clickcase, and it has it like a little
boy and a little girl pointing at And if you notice,
he did not use the word pedophile in the song,
but he kept the A minor line.

Speaker 3 (31:10):
And I mean, we'll play it. Listen to when he
says it, Listen to the stadium in the background.

Speaker 9 (31:16):
I'm gonna.

Speaker 3 (31:20):
Ain't you tie your.

Speaker 4 (31:25):
I mean, that's it.

Speaker 3 (31:27):
That's the moment right there that they everybody was waiting for.

Speaker 12 (31:30):
That, by the way, performed the whole set. He did
not lip saying. Now one set I think says it
was lip saying, I know you said she she was
blowing her brain.

Speaker 3 (31:39):
No, she she sounded it sounded nice. I don't know
if that was I think, which a lot of them do.

Speaker 2 (31:45):
I'm saying, yeah, but it sounded good whether she did. Yeah, listen,
I'm hoping for you that old Navy drops a pair
that I know she especial.

Speaker 1 (31:58):
Morning show with DJ Foign Shawty When you.

Speaker 6 (32:01):
Need to know, No, we got you three things you
need to know on Boston's number one for hip hop
and the best throwbacks you haven't.

Speaker 7 (32:08):
Any more five.

Speaker 8 (32:24):
Personally myself, I've just been able to use every experience
and learn from it, the good, the bad, all other
using it as tough to pursue my own greatness. And
I think I couldn't doing any of these things without
the guys round.

Speaker 4 (32:39):
And you know we got that.

Speaker 8 (32:40):
We had a special group this year. We were able
to learn from the past and get some get some
nice new pieces and.

Speaker 1 (32:47):
Get over that home.

Speaker 2 (32:48):
Monday, February tenth. There he is Jalen Hurts Super Bowl MVP.
The numbers speak for themselves. Two hundred and twenty one yards,
passing seventy two yards, rushing three total touchdowns to passing.

Speaker 3 (32:59):
One rush feels amazing. If you're an Eagles fan this morning,
if you are a.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
Chiefs fan, you are hurting because you certainly did not
see a forty to twenty two score coming your way.

Speaker 3 (33:11):
Twenty four to nothing at half. You didn't see it.
Nobody saw that coming.

Speaker 4 (33:15):
Yeah, But at the same time, at least the Chiefs
have Super Bowls in their past.

Speaker 2 (33:17):
They won two years, so they have kind of overnight
to me, and I'm sure if you're a huge NFL fan,
it hasn't happened overnight.

Speaker 3 (33:25):
But become the villains. People don't like it.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
People love to hate the Chiefs because they win a lot.
People love to hate the Patriots because they want a
lot too. But the bottom line is something looked off
with Pat Mahomes. Let's blame his dad, Yeah, his brother
and his wife because they're always acting up.

Speaker 4 (33:42):
Absolutely, he just seemed like he was just tired, even
from before, Like his face looked like ragged.

Speaker 2 (33:48):
He just didn't have the look of a killer like
he usually does. But nothing was going their way and
everything was going the Eagles way. The Eagles just looked ready.
They look like they were having fun. Jalen Hurts was
putting on a legit clinic out there. I went to
sleep at the end of the third. I waited after
halftime because I'm like, I'm not doing this to myself.

Speaker 3 (34:08):
Twenty four to nothing.

Speaker 2 (34:09):
This you can come back from this, even Tom, you know,
listening to Tom and owns, I'm like, Tom knows you
can come back from this.

Speaker 3 (34:15):
You got to get a quick score when they when
they finally did.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
Score, and they had six and they went for two
and he and he tried to throw it to Travis
and they couldn't get I was like, it's done. Like
they just they just didn't have the juice last night.
They didn't all have it the juice, you know what
I mean, they.

Speaker 3 (34:35):
Just didn't have it. It was not good, all right.
So we're at halftime now, twenty four to nothing.

Speaker 2 (34:42):
By the way, I don't I don't think that long
halftime helped them out either, because that is a long
time to have to wait to get back out on
the field. But outcomes Kendrick Lamar and we got ourselves
the moment we were all waiting for.

Speaker 9 (34:55):
I'm stu.

Speaker 2 (35:09):
They not like her, No, they not like us, They
not like Listen, we've been talking about it already a
lot this morning.

Speaker 4 (35:16):
I I thought it was.

Speaker 3 (35:17):
I thought it was a great performance. I didn't know
all the songs.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
I'll be really honest with you, and I'm sure I
speak for a lot of people when they're like, I
didn't know all the songs. We were all waiting for
that one. I loved the inclusion of Samuel Samuel L.

Speaker 14 (35:31):
Jackson, it's awful saying it's a great American game.

Speaker 2 (35:44):
I also loved seeing him do some of these songs
in person, because I always envisioned him to kind of
have like a mad face when he's rapping. He does
not like he was happy. He was smiling, he was
bouncing around up there. Literally, he was a happy, happy
five man.

Speaker 1 (36:00):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 3 (36:07):
Either way, Internet this morning divided, really divided. Some loved it,
some hated it.

Speaker 2 (36:12):
I think if you don't know a Kendrick Lamar and
you know no songs, you hate that performance. You think
it's trash because you can't relate. You don't know any songs.
I knew a couple, but I'm just I'm not gonna
hate on him. I thought I thought he did his
thing out there.

Speaker 4 (36:26):
Yeah, I was entertaining. I just like expected something bigger
for the super Bowl, just like I talked. I talked
about this before Hamilton best comparison in his.

Speaker 2 (36:34):
Entire catalog because of how short of a timeframe he
really has collectively, he could have done song after song
that we know, right, he could have done that, But
I I think that he decided to choose, like he
chose himself and who he is right now and where
he's at.

Speaker 3 (36:49):
And I think you can either respect that or not.

Speaker 4 (36:52):
But it's clear that they're going for like a younger demo,
though very clear they're not going to Yeah, they aren't
going for the masses. They're going for like the younger demo.

Speaker 2 (36:59):
So yeah, yeah, jay Z was there. You know, he
had a big hand in this performance. He was with
Blue Ivy and I think one of the twins.

Speaker 4 (37:06):
Can I say, though, I feel like it's time for
the NFL to change who they have like in charge
of the halftime show because the last year that we've
had that Jay has been in charge of hasn't really
been like that exciting. How long has it?

Speaker 3 (37:17):
By the way, crazy for me to say I liked
this better than I liked Rihanna.

Speaker 4 (37:20):
Really I did felt bigger though.

Speaker 3 (37:25):
Yeah, I can see that because she came from the ceiling.

Speaker 4 (37:27):
From the I don't know, like a bigger thing, but
I don't know, but I'm still like waiting for that
big halftime show. That was like, wow, that was amazing.
Well that was a moment.

Speaker 3 (37:35):
That was a thing for me.

Speaker 2 (37:36):
Every moment of his performance, I'm like, who's gonna come out,
who's it gonna be, Who's it gonna be?

Speaker 3 (37:40):
Who's it gonna be? And the DJ musterd wasn't it
her man? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (37:45):
Yeah, it was nothing though, if you're DJ Mustard, you're
you're living now, You're living. But I honestly, I just
I wanted more and for all of those people who
actually thought this man was going to bring out Taylor
Swift to do bad blood like that, that's not that
was never going to happen. But yeah, I don't know.
I felt like it was missing something. But I do

(38:05):
overall think it was a dope performance.

Speaker 3 (38:07):
I enjoyed it. I did not mind it. Uh ad Wise,
the one that we're all talking about this morning.

Speaker 2 (38:14):
Yuh, the Dunkings, even though it's a it's a commercial
close to home because we all know how much we
love our dungs out here in New England.

Speaker 3 (38:23):
I thought It was one of the funniest.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
It was. The play on McDonald's and Starbucks was hilarious.
I'm sorry, it just was funny.

Speaker 4 (38:30):
And then it had the star power too, because you
were shocked when Bill's on the screening you saw this girl,
You're like, oh my god, like, this is real beat
my build up.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
But yeah, So anyway, there were a lot of names
in it, well, Johnnie Wahlberg, Yeah, was anybody else? I
just was so taken aback when I saw Bill Belichick's
girlfriend on there, I.

Speaker 3 (38:50):
Culdn't like, this woman is in super Bowl ads.

Speaker 4 (38:54):
Now, what do you think it was like a plan thing?
Or did Bill say I'll do it if she's in
it too?

Speaker 15 (39:00):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (39:01):
Yeah, they definitely. He definitely laid that up for show.

Speaker 12 (39:03):
He said, yeah, oh maybe they said both of ya
should do it because Bill was smiling the whole time.

Speaker 4 (39:07):
Whole time.

Speaker 2 (39:08):
I guess my thing is like it's she didn't have
any words, so she she didn't have to really like
she she wasn't. It wasn't necessary. But now watching it
back again, even the longer version, I'm like, I liked
that she.

Speaker 3 (39:20):
Was in there.

Speaker 4 (39:21):
I don't know, is this the kiss of death? I
don't remember what happened to jay Lo.

Speaker 3 (39:24):
And is that's why they did it. They were like, no,
we like including women that we know will be in
and out.

Speaker 4 (39:31):
She definitely got something, but just lately for them, it
seems like it's like a package deal with them across
the board.

Speaker 2 (39:35):
I don't care you, there's not much hate. You can
throw her away like she's crushing right now. She's she's
she's doing very well for herself.

Speaker 1 (39:42):
She she she is.

Speaker 2 (39:44):
Other notable commercials, the Clydesdale's and the Budweiser commercials always
stick out to me. We talked about the Coffee Mate
Tongue commercial. I like I wanted to report that, you know,
like the FCC always gets reported during the half time.

Speaker 3 (39:57):
I wanted to report that.

Speaker 2 (39:58):
Like it was sexual, right, And the one that flurry
out there. You mentioned the Dorito's ad with the alien.

Speaker 3 (40:04):
I remember that one. I thought it was stupid, but
I do remember it.

Speaker 2 (40:07):
I think the whole goal is to the Rocket mortgage
commercial where they did take me home and they went
to the stadium and people were singing that one, that one,
you know, women's flag football.

Speaker 3 (40:17):
Had no idea that he was anything even thing. I
gotta get it out there.

Speaker 4 (40:21):
Yeah, you're tall, get.

Speaker 1 (40:22):
In on that.

Speaker 3 (40:24):
All right, Let's move on to Yay. We you know,
we did a lot there.

Speaker 2 (40:27):
We don't have a ton of time, but Yay was
trending every second of every day over the weekend. I mean,
it really never stopped for him, just an array of
topics from Cassie to Kendrick Lamar to Taylor Swift, to
porn to Jewish people like he just couldn't stop. Ross
from friends was like, somebody, make it stop, elon, make

(40:51):
it stop. But he didn't have to because Yay has
officially hopped off Twitter. He deactivated his account, but he said, listen,
it was lethargic for me, felt like an ayahuasca trip.
I said what I said, I mean what I say.
Those are my thoughts, those are my feelings, my feelings.
It felt good to get it off my chest. But
right before he left, he posted a video and he

(41:12):
talked about how like it was him tweeting and when
anybody think it wasn't, but that he wants to hop
on a plane and go save Kodak Black. He had
there's a calling. He was wearing a Donna chain. He's
gonna go save Kodak Black. I didn't know what was
going on with Kodak. I went to see that video.
Kodak Black does not look well. This is not the
first time we've discussed this. He certainly has some abuse issues.

(41:33):
And if you could look at man in the eyes
and not say that something was wrong with him, I don't.

Speaker 3 (41:39):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (41:41):
Wild to me to think that Yay is going to
be the one to save him when ye might need
some saving himself.

Speaker 3 (41:47):
But he's he's he's ready for him.

Speaker 13 (41:50):
I know, y'ah thinking I'm going through something right now,
and I see my I got bags out of my eyes.
But I just saw a video of Kodak and I wouldn't.
I don't want nobody to do an intervention on me.
That's why I want to put this video up because
y'all might think, oh, man, Yay really going through right now.
Somebody need to go get him. Oh y'all go take
his Twitter and stuff like that. But I'm just telling

(42:11):
you calmly that I am in a good space. I'm
really in a positive space. It's cathartic. I got my
ideas out. That's all that happened, and that was very freeing.
For me, and it's worth everything. It was worth everything
to do that. Just start there. Now I've seen this
video my brother Kodak, and I feel a call and
he's actually wearing this Donda chain and how he's sitting

(42:42):
here wearing this chain unless something saying that go and
get my brother. And I thought about it before. I
was like, man, I should go down to Miami. Maybe
I could be the person that could make a difference.

Speaker 4 (42:53):
And That's what I'm about to do right now.

Speaker 2 (42:55):
Follow us on at Ashley and Nan four and I'll
get both things up. Yeah's response and that the Kodak
video Kodak, by the way, was not in Miami. He
was in Atlanta filming a music video. People on the
internet this morning are trying to say, like he's fine,
he was just faking for the camera.

Speaker 3 (43:09):
It's in the ice. Yeah, look at his eyes. Something
is off. I don't care. I stop.

Speaker 4 (43:13):
But honestly, though, I don't think it's got back and
pretty what Kanye did this weekend, Yeah, I'd rather be
in the street, like eating chicken.

Speaker 2 (43:19):
How about at one point when he just started posting
like porno after porn after porn, like yeah, yeah, yeah
it was again I know he claims that he is
not bipolar. I just I was what is Yeah, it
was by the way, nobody was safe like from ya
yay was coming at ev rebady no matter who you are.

(43:41):
And then lastly, really quick, I just want to mention
that The Weekend landed his fifth number one on the
Billboard two hundred charts with the debut of Hurry Up Tomorrow.
I know we weren't like huge crazy fans of it,
but it was the biggest opening of his career.

Speaker 4 (43:55):
Oh wow, Yeah, so I thought that.

Speaker 2 (43:56):
Was yeah, shout out to Abele. Could be the last
time we hear him as the Weekend, but he did
his thing on that one. That's three things you need
to know from Monday, Feb tenth. Don't forget about the talkbacks.
We love hearing them, except for the guy who called
me an idiot for saying that Eagles fans are dope.
I'm from Philly, I am from the New Jersey area,
so yes, I'm gonna talk highly of Eagles fans because
they're my friends.

Speaker 4 (44:16):
You're the idiot, But.

Speaker 3 (44:17):
Anyways, yes, leave the talk back and say what up?

Speaker 4 (44:19):
Good morning, Dashy and the jam In.

Speaker 1 (44:22):
Morning Show with d J. Fourn It's saunt a big morning.

Speaker 7 (44:25):
Bustin's number one for hip hop jam in ninety four.

Speaker 14 (44:28):
Five.

Speaker 3 (44:30):
Hi everybody, good morning.

Speaker 2 (44:33):
Hope you had a good weekend. We're all a little
groggy from the super Bowl last night. Six one seven
nine three one one nine four five. We're talking about you,
your life, your world, anything you want with Obviously, with
the check in, you can comment on things we've talked
about thus far, like Leslie and Dorchester's gonna.

Speaker 3 (44:48):
Do talk to me.

Speaker 2 (44:49):
Leslie, what is your review on Kendrick's Super Bowl halftime
performance last night?

Speaker 16 (44:57):
It was awesome?

Speaker 15 (44:59):
It was It was totally awesome.

Speaker 3 (45:01):
Are you ranking it in your like top three? Do
you think it was the best you've ever seen? Absolutely?

Speaker 16 (45:07):
Top three? First is Mary dre Snoop, then Kendrick, and
then Rihanna.

Speaker 2 (45:13):
Okay, so you're I actually kind of feel like putting
Kendrick in front of them, in front of Rihanna too.
Rihanna's really underwhelmed me. But listen, the internet is divided.
What was your favorite part of the performance.

Speaker 16 (45:26):
Okay, so the whole performance was was awesome, but I
will say my favorite part was and if people didn't
peep it because you had to watch he spelt pedal
with the people.

Speaker 1 (45:39):
He did.

Speaker 5 (45:40):
Yes, it was quick.

Speaker 2 (45:43):
Wow, I must definitely, because in my head I was like,
he didn't say pedophile, but he did, but.

Speaker 16 (45:49):
He spelt it out with the people.

Speaker 3 (45:52):
Poor Drake, like Drake needs to be held this morning.

Speaker 16 (45:55):
I immediately, I immediately had to say, somebody needs to
check on Drake because.

Speaker 3 (46:00):
He's No, he's not and he won't be for some time. Leslie,
I stand with you, No, he has not. All right, Well,
thank you for that. I appreciate your take.

Speaker 2 (46:09):
Again, I think there's a lot of Leslie's in the world,
and then there's a lot of people that are in
my dms being.

Speaker 3 (46:14):
Like, stop saying it was a fix. Kathy is in Southie, Cath.
You also loved the halftime show.

Speaker 11 (46:22):
Yes, hello, good morning.

Speaker 15 (46:25):
I thought it was awesome.

Speaker 11 (46:28):
I loved every second of it. In my favorite moment
when he okay, when he did not like us, when
he said he say Drake and he smiled like did
you notice that? Like that and then just like and
and then like he just doesn't care. They were going

(46:48):
to like sue him for seeing that one. But also
just all over social media last night, so many people
were hating on it, saying there are too many raps
at the halftime, when was there In four years, there
haven't been any rappers. Last year was Usher, the year
before it is Rihanna, the year before it was Dre

(47:11):
and Snoop and all that. Like what are they talking about?

Speaker 15 (47:14):
Like so many people were saying he was boring.

Speaker 11 (47:18):
Like leave him alone. Then they're making fun of his jeans,
which were saline jeans that cost more than these people's rents,
Like what leave him alone? I love him, wow, and
I think he's awesome. He's got to set a ball
along him and I love it.

Speaker 3 (47:37):
The South.

Speaker 2 (47:38):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (47:39):
Okay, Kathy really watched that last night. Ellie is in
Western Hi, good morning, Good morning, Hi babe.

Speaker 2 (47:47):
So we were having this debate this morning. Sizza hopped
on that halftime performance for like twenty seconds.

Speaker 3 (47:55):
I was like, damn, she sounded really good.

Speaker 17 (47:57):
I think she was too good, kind of too good Ashley,
so so in my opinion, I think she was thinking
I think, and it's honestly, and nobody comes for me please.
I think it was kind of a disgrace because Sisa
has one of the most beautiful voices. I don't know
if you ever heard her live, but she really does
have a beautiful voice, and it was kind of like
a shame because I was like, damn, like she's not

(48:19):
even using her voice.

Speaker 3 (48:21):
A lot of people to lip sync at the halftime,
I mean not out there. Yeah, so it's no, I
get it.

Speaker 2 (48:30):
I I now that I'm looking back, and I mean
for we're talking about this off air, and she did
it was perfect, Like there wasn't a single error.

Speaker 3 (48:38):
So there, there's there's a champ.

Speaker 17 (48:40):
So the thing that like I was, I didn't watch it,
to be completely honest with you, I'm not a sports person.
I just watched it for the halftime show. I woke
up this morning and I put it on YouTube and
I was looking at it and I was like, why
is everybody hating on this?

Speaker 5 (48:51):
What is going on?

Speaker 17 (48:52):
Watched the whole thing. I thought it was cool that
he put Samuel Jackson as Sam. That guy's name uncle Sam. Yeah,
that was like actually little message that I don't think
a lot.

Speaker 16 (49:01):
Of people picked up on.

Speaker 17 (49:02):
But I thought it was a good performance. And honestly,
there's no reason to hate on it. I think people
are hating on it because he's a rapper. That's that's
all it.

Speaker 3 (49:12):
Is, all right, Ellie, Well, thank you for the for
the take.

Speaker 2 (49:15):
It's funny we don't have There are a lot of
people hating online, but we haven't had one person call
to say they hate it. But I but I got
a DM just a minute ago that said the game
was trashed and so was the super Bowl halftime performance.

Speaker 8 (49:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (49:26):
Again, I don't think it's a hateful performance. I just
you know, I think the world, the ones who don't
like it, we're expecting more.

Speaker 3 (49:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (49:32):
I think. I also think you don't have to hate it.
But it's okay to be like. I don't know him
and I don't know any songs, but people are six
one seven nine three one one nine four five six
one seven nine three one one nine four five. You
can call him talk super Bowl. You can call and
ask for our opinion on something. You can call and
say what up. You can tell me a story. It's
all about you. Anything you want six one seven, nine

(49:53):
three one one nine four five call me. It's the
check him only on Jamin eighty four five. Hi, everybody,
Good morning SAT and the jam in Morning Show. I
was saying, listen, the internet is divided over this performance.
Kendrick Lamar halftime.

Speaker 3 (50:06):
Super Bowl show? Did you love it? Did you hate it?
We just got a lot of love for it. Now
we're gonna get a lot of hate for it. Jesse,
talk to me.

Speaker 15 (50:17):
I think it was all right. I mean for people
to sit there and say it was the top three and.

Speaker 3 (50:21):
Blah blah blah.

Speaker 15 (50:22):
Come on, that's a low bob.

Speaker 2 (50:26):
I am sorry.

Speaker 15 (50:27):
That's a really low bob.

Speaker 3 (50:29):
Tell me your number one super Bowl halftime performance is.

Speaker 11 (50:33):
I'm James Jackson, Justinton Belie.

Speaker 3 (50:35):
I mean, yeah, no, listen, I'm not fighting you on that.

Speaker 2 (50:37):
I'm certainly not going to fight you on that, all right, Jesse,
Let's go to Rose Roses in Dorchester.

Speaker 3 (50:42):
Rose not a fan?

Speaker 15 (50:46):
Yeah no, I honestly feel like, like Leslie who called earlier,
how dare she put Rihanna aster Kendrick. I don't know.
I'm not a big Kendrick fan. I feel like everyone's
turning on Drake. Drake has carried us for a long
time and he deserves some respects. They switched on Nicky,

(51:10):
they try to switch on Drake.

Speaker 3 (51:12):
I'm not for it, all right, Ross, Okay, Gwen is
in Fall River. Gwen, talk to me a fan or
not a fan.

Speaker 11 (51:22):
I am not a fan.

Speaker 10 (51:23):
I personally do not I'm not a big Hendrick fan.
But I am a Champagne Poppy fan that I could say. Yeah,
I personally I really didn't like it. I even told
my fiance I was like, what am I watching right now?
If if Drake was on, like everybody would be like,

(51:45):
you know, hyped up and all this other stuff, like
not just because about like the whole Grammy situation how
he won like five But that's fine whatever, Hopefully Drake
will be there and right.

Speaker 3 (52:00):
And thanks for the call. Here's my thing.

Speaker 2 (52:01):
And I said this earlier and I'll say it again.
We're all Drake fans and that that's true. But had
Drake won that battle and Drake was the one with
the song that won the Grammy and was the Song
of the Year and all that stuff, Drake's gonna perform
that at the halftime super Bowl show.

Speaker 3 (52:19):
I can see people's like, did it give a little obsessive?

Speaker 2 (52:23):
Yeah, I mean the guy's wearing an a minor Chaine,
he had that flag, I know, and the inclusion of
Serena Williams, like it is a little there's a little
tone of desperation for me, like you're obsessed. I feel
it a little bit, But I'm also a Drake fan.
I still, with all that being said, thought it was
a good performance.

Speaker 3 (52:44):
I did.

Speaker 2 (52:44):
I wasn't like phoning asleep during this thing. People are
out here acting like it was a snooze fest.

Speaker 4 (52:49):
I don't.

Speaker 3 (52:50):
I didn't feel that.

Speaker 4 (52:51):
Why hasn't Drake done the halftime show? Has has Why?
I feel like it would make perfect sense. It didn't
massive and he's a pop star too, he is he
is maybe he feels I don't know. I don't know
why he declines it after this, like please accept it right,
Like he needs a fire back and win.

Speaker 2 (53:06):
The Honestly, you know, he doesn't need a super Bowl.
He needs to come out with some music and we
need to we need to get in a better like
space with him. And I'm not talking about this Friday's
music with the party next door, Like we need Drake
by himself. I don't even care if it's Drake crying
about how Kendrick made him feel. But can I also say,
and again, I'm a Drake fan, but something's also going
on with Drake. Drake was out and about over the

(53:28):
weekend in Croc cowboy boots and a T shirt that
said wait till you see my and he had an
arrow pointing down to his penis like he's like, this
is a cry for him.

Speaker 4 (53:39):
By the way, none of those calors that he had
on match, I'm telling you going on, he's hurt.

Speaker 2 (53:44):
Yeah, Like I hope somebody was held, like holding him
last night and he was being held because that was
That was not good. But I think either way again
it was it was. It certainly wasn't my favorite, yeah,
but to say it was the worst.

Speaker 4 (53:59):
It wasn't that means but to say it's top three,
that was the craziest part. I think there are many,
like are the ones that weigh above that. But it
was good.

Speaker 12 (54:06):
It was good for a disrecord to get you on
the biggest stage in the world. I don't even know
how you topped that from now, Like what rapper is
gonna have a top of dis record like this?

Speaker 4 (54:16):
You can't.

Speaker 3 (54:17):
I mean, or they could put this guy on and
he could just sing his tweets. He could really get
that going.

Speaker 2 (54:22):
Imagine if he was up there singing his tweets cut off,
Oh why the racist?

Speaker 1 (54:32):
Especially in the jam In Morning Show with DJ Foreign.

Speaker 6 (54:35):
And Saunty When you need to know, No, we got
you three things you need to know on Boston's number
one for hip hop and the best throwbags.

Speaker 7 (54:44):
You haven't anymore vibes.

Speaker 8 (55:00):
Myself, I've just been able to use every experience and
learn from it, the good, the bad, all of it.
Using it is too to pursue my own greatness. And
I think I couldn't do in any of these things
without the guys around me. You know, you got to
We had a special group this year. We were able
to learn from the past and get some get some

(55:21):
nice new pieces and get over.

Speaker 3 (55:23):
That Home Fly Eagles Fly, and that they did. Monday,
Feb tenth, the final of Super Bowl fifty nine, forty
to twenty two.

Speaker 2 (55:31):
Nobody saw that coming. Yeah, nobody predicted a blowout, not
even Vegas. It was like a point and a half line.
Nobody knew that this was gonna happen. But let me
tell you something, Pat Mahomes was little something weird going
on in his eyes, not like Kodak Black weird, but
like he didn't look to be himself out there.

Speaker 4 (55:49):
It was it was not fun.

Speaker 2 (55:50):
Nothing could go their way, I mean nothing. Pat Mahomes
was throwing the ball to other people.

Speaker 4 (55:55):
Yeah, consistently too, and he looks so tired and ragging.

Speaker 3 (55:59):
He just the Chiefs as a whole. I mean, Travis two,
nobody they I.

Speaker 4 (56:05):
Don't let them get to any kind of momentum thing.

Speaker 3 (56:07):
Absolutely not. And the Eagles had fun.

Speaker 2 (56:10):
They were they were putting on a clinic O there,
and that was Jalen Hurts right there.

Speaker 3 (56:16):
Super Bowl MVP.

Speaker 2 (56:17):
These numbers two twenty one yards for passing, seventy two
yards rushing, three total tds, two for passing, one rushing.

Speaker 3 (56:23):
He looked so amazing, so poised.

Speaker 2 (56:27):
I think if you're an Eagles fan, you're just feeling
very blessed this morning that you had that man on
his side. I saw a picture of him after the
game after he won MVP, and he was just sitting
in the hallway of the Superdome just looking at the trophy,
just staring at it.

Speaker 4 (56:39):
Yeah. I think it's it's safe to say it. They
it's a good chance of them back in the Super
Bowl fin next year too, because they have the same
team coming back.

Speaker 2 (56:45):
Yeah, and there's a big question mark with the Chiefs.
I mean, here's Pat Mahomes after the game talk about
sounding defeated.

Speaker 5 (56:53):
Losing the Super Bowl just doesn't feel good in either
way anyway. I mean, I was, I was proud of
how my team thought this entire season with the expectations
that we had on us, but we did. We came
up short, and so now it's how you respond and
hopefully that we can learn from this like we learned
from the last loss that we had, and and try

(57:13):
to continue to get even better, because it's going to
take a better football, especially for me, in order to
try to make a run at another Super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (57:20):
He's so competitive and he's so good.

Speaker 2 (57:22):
It's going to be a tough pill to swallow now
to take off for a little bit of time until
football comes back, you know, because he certainly has something
to prove after that performance last night. A lot of
big names in the building, DT the pres was there
last night, Taylor Swift coming in with Ice Spice.

Speaker 3 (57:40):
She's she's come with Ice Bice to a game before.

Speaker 2 (57:42):
So I wasn't crazy shocked by that, Not that it matters,
but Taylor's outfit was a little.

Speaker 3 (57:47):
Underwhelming to me. I thought we would do a little
more for the Super Bowl.

Speaker 4 (57:51):
Yeah, and I figured you would go with some little
more sparkly and red.

Speaker 3 (57:53):
She did, she did, she had a red purse. But yeah,
she wore a tea necklace. But it's tough. Was the
tea for her? So for him, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (58:01):
I saw a clip of him postgame just looking so
defeated walking to the suite where she was with Mama Kelsey.

Speaker 3 (58:08):
Yeah, he just did not.

Speaker 2 (58:09):
He really wanted up out of there. He was not
going out in New Orleans to celebrate anything. H twenty
four and to nothing was the score at halftime. When
we prepared for this moment.

Speaker 4 (58:26):
I'm still ain't you tie your They not like U?

Speaker 2 (58:38):
No, they not like us, They not like That was
a huge moment, and of course going viral everywhere was
the moment he looked at the camera and said, say
Drake and did his little smile. That'll be a meme
for the remainder of time. But listen again, no matter
what I can understand, sentiment of I didn't know a
single song wasn't for me. Fine, But I even if

(59:00):
you didn't know a single song, you could be like, wow,
that performance was crazy.

Speaker 3 (59:03):
Plus the inclusion of Samuel L. Jackson was nuts.

Speaker 4 (59:10):
It's an awful saying.

Speaker 14 (59:12):
It's a great American game.

Speaker 3 (59:18):
And by the way, I mean nuts in a good way.

Speaker 4 (59:19):
It gave it like theatrical Yeah, Sam Jackson got paid
for this, right because they normally don't pay the hardist.
But I feel like they had to pay him because
he's like an actor. Yeah, and he had a role that.

Speaker 2 (59:30):
He has a role he did. Yeah, he definitely did,
but just visually on the eyes. I mean when when
actual human dancers made the American flag, I was like,
this is insane. I I thought I thought as a
whole it was a good performance. I can understand again
if you're not a Kendrick fan why it wasn't in
your top three, five whatever, But I.

Speaker 3 (59:49):
Didn't think it was. I mean, Daily Mail is demon
it the worst one ever.

Speaker 4 (59:53):
It's not the worst ever. Was terrible.

Speaker 3 (59:56):
Yeah, that was bad ad wise.

Speaker 2 (59:59):
I think we've all mentioned a few this morning, but
the standout, and for one specific reason, was the dun Kings.
Ben was hilarious, Casey Affleck was hilarious, a little surprise
appearance from Donnie Wahlberg. But Bill Belichick's girlfriend being in
it is just diabolical. I cannot believe you got rid
of j Low and you brought in Jordan. Jordan, the

(01:00:22):
champion cheerleader for Bridgewater State, was in a Duncan Donuts
commercial last night. If you were her teammate, you you
were on top this morning, You're like, that's my girl,
but oh, you know no, she's the one behind Ben
affleck the hell.

Speaker 4 (01:00:37):
I mean like, after this, you have to assume the
only way you can kind of go up is if
you get married to the man, right she has to
this point.

Speaker 3 (01:00:43):
Yeah, do it quick.

Speaker 4 (01:00:44):
Yeah, you know father time.

Speaker 3 (01:00:47):
Yeah, just saying all right.

Speaker 2 (01:00:50):
Kanye was everywhere over the weekend, and I mean that
in a sense of like in his mind he was.
It was one of those things where I felt like
I had to check on it every couple hours because
he would nap. I mean, I think at one point
he was like I took a nap, and I'm waking
up and he's back to tweeting, and then he would
say something else, and then it's a lot. It's it's

(01:01:12):
a lot to go through. I'd say ninety eight percent
of it. I can't even say he really he's not
a big Olympic fan. He's got a lot to say
about that. He has a lot to say about everybody.
That's the thing about Yay's tweets.

Speaker 3 (01:01:24):
Nobody was safe. It didn't matter who you were.

Speaker 5 (01:01:27):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:01:28):
He came for Cassie, he came for Kendrick Lamar's performance.
He has something to say about Taylor Swift.

Speaker 3 (01:01:32):
He was posting porn.

Speaker 2 (01:01:34):
He said he beats women. At one point, he just
went off. He also has officially deactivated his Twitter. He said,
essentially like I felt like I went on an ayahuasca trip.
I said what I had to say. I meant what
I said. Those were my tweets. I'm done here. Thanks Elon.
You know, he's still has his shop up where you
can buy some crazy stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:01:57):
But I don't know what did you? What did you
guys think about it over the week?

Speaker 4 (01:02:00):
Again?

Speaker 3 (01:02:00):
Were you were you clocking it? Were you watching it?

Speaker 4 (01:02:02):
Not really, not until I seen the Kodak thing.

Speaker 12 (01:02:04):
But once he started saying all the craziness and posting
up the Diddy T shirts and the Shawn jobs.

Speaker 4 (01:02:11):
Bro, you're going through an episode.

Speaker 12 (01:02:13):
So I'm gonna just let you, you know, let it
ut and somebody, somebody probably was able to get him
to sleep, because remember he even said it, I got
bags under my eyes.

Speaker 4 (01:02:21):
Ye, because you're not sleeping, bro.

Speaker 2 (01:02:23):
I know I'm gonna play the clip, so at one
point he basically said, listen, I'm gonna go help Kodak.
Kodak was seen in the middle of the street in
Atlanta sitting down eating chicken. Supposedly he was at a
music video shoot, but he something was off with him,
so Yay wanted to go help him out.

Speaker 13 (01:02:39):
I know you're thinking I'm going through something right now,
and you see my I got bags into my eyes.
But I just saw a video of Kodak, and I
wouldn't want nobody to do an intervention on me. That's
why I want to put this video up because y'all
might think, oh man, Yay really going through right now,
so I need to go get him. Oh yo, go
take a Twitter and stuff like that. But I'm just

(01:03:00):
telling you calmly that I am in a good space.
I'm really in a positive space. It's cathartic.

Speaker 4 (01:03:08):
I got my ideas out.

Speaker 13 (01:03:09):
That's all that happened, and that was very freeing for me,
and it's worth everything. It was worth everything to do that.
Just's start there.

Speaker 1 (01:03:17):
Now.

Speaker 13 (01:03:17):
I've seen this video my brother Kodak, and I feel
a call and he's actually wearing this Donda chain and
how he's sitting here wearing his chain unless something saying
that go and give my brother. And I thought about
it before. I was like, man, I should go down
to Miami. Maybe I could be the person that could

(01:03:40):
make a difference. What's funny, And that's what I'm about
to do right now. This's the message.

Speaker 4 (01:03:44):
It's Donna trying to talk to him, telling him to
relax and get help. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:03:49):
Yeah, Todda was like, Yo, you need to sit down
and chill. I like, I love the beginning of that.
I know y'all think I'm going through an episode.

Speaker 2 (01:03:56):
Yeah, we do, because you're trying to say whatever you're
serial thoughts are and then you're showing porn Like I
can't keep up, sir, I don't know what's going on.

Speaker 4 (01:04:04):
If you're his wife, what do you think she's going through,
because there's no way she's experiencing this on the positive act.

Speaker 12 (01:04:10):
Trying to get him off the GRAM and trying to,
you know what I mean, make sure that he gets
some rest to get him right.

Speaker 2 (01:04:15):
I mean you would think, like again, I'm sitting next
to the fireman and he's acting crazy. I'm like, hey,
why don't we like talk to me about it. Let's
go get it out of your of your body. But
maybe we don't get like put it on the internet.

Speaker 3 (01:04:29):
And by the way, in the all caps because you're yelling.

Speaker 4 (01:04:32):
Now if you're her friend too, you're reaching out to
her like, hey, is everything okay? You find because now
he's posting stuff about being abusive towards females, Like, is
everything good?

Speaker 2 (01:04:39):
Right?

Speaker 3 (01:04:40):
Yeah, it's it's it's a lot. Well, it's a lot,
all right.

Speaker 2 (01:04:45):
We'll wrap it up there because we did a lot
on the Super Bowl. That's three things needs to know

Speaker 1 (01:05:16):

Speaker 7 (01:05:21):

Speaker 3 (01:05:42):
Well rotation.

Speaker 2 (01:05:43):
Oh, follow along people US today, Pup tomorrow US Wednesday, Pup.
You know, Okay, foreign had sent me this. I think
Foreren sent me this on Friday, but we just didn't
have enough time to get to it. And I was,
I was, this is kind of crazy to me that
this woman didn't think that this was a big deal.

Speaker 4 (01:06:05):
It's upsetting. This is a pole.

Speaker 3 (01:06:07):
Yeah, but in the comment section she was getting defended.

Speaker 4 (01:06:11):
Really, who are these people the way as she does? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:06:14):
It said my husband is making us fly home from
our honeymoon after one day because he found out I
sent my ex a simple.

Speaker 3 (01:06:24):
Goodbye text on the morning of our wedding.

Speaker 2 (01:06:27):
It was a goodbye text for goodness sake, not an
I will always love you text not a drop everything
and meet me at the altar.

Speaker 4 (01:06:34):
Text.

Speaker 2 (01:06:34):
I needed to say goodbye to have closure on the
unmarried part of my life. Please tell me, my sensitive
nostalgic girlies understand.

Speaker 4 (01:06:44):
No, that closure should have come the moment you met
your husband and broke up all the ax about That's
when that was there, not on your wedding day or
before that. That's an issue that gives me the feeling
like she still has feelings for him. And then now
it's like that you had a chance until we went
on a honey yes once I said I do. Now
I'm closing the door on you completely.

Speaker 2 (01:07:02):
This is what I find a text like that. I'm like,
that actually might make me physically ill, like I might vomit.
Speaking absolutely, that means that that man was on her
mind on her wedding day, like no matter, well, I
don't care what the text, that you were thinking about
him enough to reach out and say goodbye.

Speaker 4 (01:07:20):
I would go as far as to say that's worse
than a cheat, like if my wife cheated had one
night flame, this would hurt me like a lot more.

Speaker 15 (01:07:28):
Well.

Speaker 2 (01:07:28):
It also it opens up such a can of worms
because you're like, Okay, if you had to say goodbye
to them, do y'all speak every day?

Speaker 3 (01:07:33):
I mean, what's your relationship?

Speaker 12 (01:07:35):
There's got to be a relationship, right because if you're like, yo, goodbye,
meaning like leave me alone from this point on, that's
how I take it. If you're telling to me like that,
like I had to give closure because now well married
one on a honeymoon, that means you needed to let
him know I'm done, I'm off the market for real,
for real.

Speaker 4 (01:07:50):
It was nice knowing you have a good night. No no, bro,
when not playing that game, it seems like the closure
is on her end of things. That's what I'm saying.
I had to say goodbye to her single partner or
what I'm like, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:08:00):
Like yeah, that's kind of how I read it too,
like I had to say goodbye to that part of
my life. This one is by the way, I so
stand with him and she. First off, you're gonna send
that text and then not to lead it? Are you
that stupid?

Speaker 3 (01:08:16):
Are you? That's yes, you are you are?

Speaker 2 (01:08:18):
But now they're on their honeymoon and he sees that
text and she's mad that he wants to fly home.
What you hey, you better hope it's just that he
wants to fly home and not that he wants to
leave you, because I don't.

Speaker 3 (01:08:29):
I can't possibly see anybody calling in to defend this.

Speaker 4 (01:08:32):
The comments were defending.

Speaker 3 (01:08:35):
Yes, there were girls.

Speaker 2 (01:08:36):
Being like to that, to that point of like, well
she you know, she just needed to say goodbye, close
that chapter of her life, the single, unmarried, and.

Speaker 4 (01:08:46):
I bet you those are a bunch of females right.

Speaker 12 (01:08:48):
I would love for them to reverse the roles and
have their husbands or their boyfriends do the same thing.

Speaker 4 (01:08:53):
Now I'm telling you, like what, No, this is crazy
if you're sending that text, and that makes me feel
like he's the one that got away, He's the one
that you're still thinking about.

Speaker 2 (01:09:02):
If you saw that text right before you were about
to walk down the aisle, would you cancel the wedding?

Speaker 4 (01:09:08):
I don't know if that was I got yes, Like
when I say, why did you?

Speaker 8 (01:09:13):
Hell?

Speaker 3 (01:09:13):
Yes, I got to close that part of my life.

Speaker 4 (01:09:15):
So done done. The one thing I'm struggling with is
that there's a wedding and there's embarrassment, abody to leave,
and then they canna ask. So I don't know if
I just eat it and deal with it afterwards. That's
what I'm feeling, and then get it at all. Yes, yeah,
because at least you don't have to tell everybody and
then go through that. Fine, but that's better than them

(01:09:36):
there before. And then then start asking like why.

Speaker 2 (01:09:39):
This reminds me of I've I've randomly thought of myself
in this hypothetical situation where a guy proposes to me
that I don't want to get married to. If people
are watching, I'm saying, yes, you have to. I'm saying
yes on the spot, and then we're getting in the
car and I'm going I don't want this, yeah, or
we need to talk.

Speaker 3 (01:09:57):
I'm not like the embarrassment that Yeah, yeah, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:10:01):
And then as soon as we getting card, it's it's
a it's a hard no for me, sir, But I yeah,
there's situations like that that public of it.

Speaker 3 (01:10:08):
I'm saying I might, I might walk on down and
then we'll figure it out.

Speaker 4 (01:10:12):
Yeah, the honeymoon's canceled and then I don't know if
I divorced, but we're gonna have some serious talks.

Speaker 11 (01:10:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:10:18):
Closure.

Speaker 3 (01:10:18):
Can anybody defend?

Speaker 2 (01:10:21):
Can anybody defend or has anybody been through or heard
or anything, a text message to your ex right before
you walk down the aisle, saying goodbye. I mean six
one seven nine three one one nine four five. She
really thought she had something with that too. Six one
seven nine three one one nine four five. Sending your

(01:10:42):
ex a text to say goodbye on your wedding day.
Hi everybody, good morning. Imagine you're on your honeymoon. You
go through your significant other's phone, which, by the way,
red flag either way, ah, and you find a text
from your new wife to her ex boyfriend saying goodbye.

(01:11:05):
Now she's trying to defend it. She said, it wasn't
and I'll always love you. It wasn't a drop everything,
meet me at the altar. It was just goodbye because
I had to say closure on the unmarried part.

Speaker 3 (01:11:15):
Of my life.

Speaker 4 (01:11:19):
That's just heartbreaking.

Speaker 3 (01:11:20):
That's like sad vomit.

Speaker 4 (01:11:22):
Yeah, like.

Speaker 2 (01:11:25):
You see that before you walk down the aisle, there
is like form was like, I'm calling it off. There
are some people who would really call off their wedding.
Alice in Boston. Al remember, we can't curse. We're live
on the rag.

Speaker 3 (01:11:36):
Oh, I'll hung up. So what happened?

Speaker 4 (01:11:38):
My god? I said that he received that text. Before
from one of his exes.

Speaker 12 (01:11:42):
They had broken up, they had a toxic relationship, they
hadn't talked for a while, and from what he remembers,
he was still trying to get with her every once
in a while. And then when she finally moved on
and you know, found somebody else, she hit him with
the you know goodbye, like we got we gotta end
this right here.

Speaker 4 (01:11:58):
But he says that was grinding. It's absolutely grinding for
anybody to do that.

Speaker 2 (01:12:01):
It's diabolical, Like it's that again. It just makes me
feel like I'm not the only thing on your mind
that day, which.

Speaker 4 (01:12:07):
Is so weird. Nobody can occupy you spend Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:12:11):
Not on our wedding day. Devin is in Maldon.

Speaker 2 (01:12:14):
Dev you obviously think the timing is horrible, but you
somehow feel like the text you can digest the.

Speaker 18 (01:12:23):
Text, Yes, can you hear me?

Speaker 10 (01:12:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 18 (01:12:27):
Okay, perfect? Yeah, See, I have an ex relationship like
that and we're friends, and I would never think of
him on my wedding day, and believe me, I did not,
But I get her feelings on at some point thinking
about it and saying goodbye to her single life. Just
not on your wedding day girl, And again, like you said,
if you did delete the text, like, what are you

(01:12:49):
doing so I can feel I can feel all of
your I'd get all of your opinions. But when I
giggled when you said, I feel like girls are the
only ones defending her. So I want to half defend
her if if that makes sense. But I get the
emotions and I get still thinking about the X on occasion,
but not on your wedding day.

Speaker 11 (01:13:08):
Interesting, all right, dev as soon as you put that
ring on your finger, you're done.

Speaker 2 (01:13:11):
Yeah, You're done this whole sense. Yeah, I get it,
this whole sentiment of like saying goodbye to your single self.

Speaker 4 (01:13:18):
I don't know, like what does that mean?

Speaker 3 (01:13:19):
I Once I start getting.

Speaker 2 (01:13:22):
In a relationship with somebody and it's serious and I'm
thinking future and stuff. I'm not worried about this. I
was trying to get actually away from being single. Just
give me the feel all right. This makes me feel
like she is settling for her husband and the one
that she wanted to be with is the one that
she was texting. And I feel like a lot of
people are in this situation. I've told you this before.

Speaker 4 (01:13:41):
I have a friend that's married, and in her mind,
she was still going to be where their acts at
some point, and that, to me gives me the same feeling. Here. Wait,
what so a friend of mine is married. Okay, she's
been married for like a while, they have kids and everything.
She was still under the belief that at some point
she was going to get divorced and be with her ax,
because that's who she really wanted to be with her

(01:14:01):
entire life. And she confided this, Yeah, it's our old
friend from our old town. So they were telling us this,
and she was she she actually told my wife this.
My wife told me this, But I'm friends with all
of them. But yeah, it's like it's really sack like that.

Speaker 3 (01:14:15):
She's so sad for the husband, so sad.

Speaker 12 (01:14:18):
Let's get a bad rip out in these streets. But
women are die bicle and you can tell when she
talks about the ex. She talks to them with a
certain tone and spark in her voice. Oh my god,
it's so different. But her husband hates them, hates the man,
but not the same tone, which means the ex like
probably doesn't want her and she wants him. And so
she went and settled for something else in the meantime,

(01:14:38):
I'm a hole here and was your tom until my
guy comes back and tells me he wants me.

Speaker 4 (01:14:42):
They still communicate the whole.

Speaker 3 (01:14:44):
Crazy things they do.

Speaker 4 (01:14:47):
The ax knows what he's doing, so yeah, yeah, So
I think people out there settling and just not being
with the ones that meant.

Speaker 1 (01:14:53):
To be with.

Speaker 2 (01:14:54):
Worst, there could be a whole nother scenario in which
you keep the exes close to you, because if they're
close to you, then you can kind of keep like
a watchful eye on them. Like, for instance, going to
a dentist that your ex that is one of your This.

Speaker 4 (01:15:10):
Was a space specific It's not ironic. It's not me
stalking ironic. It's my wife. What My wife goes to
a dentist that she used to date, and like, that's
a guy who's in her mouth, like the guys she
used to d Jesus, when you say it like that,

(01:15:32):
you might want to cut that off. They got the dentist,
she's this guy.

Speaker 12 (01:15:37):
Your wife's ex is in her mouth on the dentists.
Don't say it like that. You can say it a
different way.

Speaker 3 (01:15:43):
Her teeth are clean, you guys.

Speaker 1 (01:15:47):
In the Morning Show with d J feign it's Satin's.

Speaker 7 (01:15:51):
Number one for hip hop ham in ninety four five.

Speaker 3 (01:15:56):
Hi, everybody, good morning.

Speaker 2 (01:15:59):
So many things happened during the super Bowl last night,
so many different things are trending. But one story that
I've seen that is just I don't know, maybe you
guys will think I'm being a hater. It just gives
such sadness to me.

Speaker 3 (01:16:14):
Is do we remember Travis Kelsey's ex?

Speaker 4 (01:16:19):
I didn't until you've reminded me.

Speaker 3 (01:16:21):
But Kayla Nicole remember her?

Speaker 2 (01:16:23):
And when Travis and Taylor first started dating, the world
tried to pit, like the Taylor fans tried to pit
Taylor versus Kayla.

Speaker 3 (01:16:31):
And it was this whole thing.

Speaker 2 (01:16:36):
She was on her social media hardcore last night cheering
on the Eagles, got down on the.

Speaker 3 (01:16:43):
Field, was holding the confetti and put they had room
on the bandwagon. Y'all, honey, it's sad. It's sad, like
it's so pressed to me, like what are you doing?
Why are you even there?

Speaker 12 (01:16:57):
That's the us was the breaking. Then she goes u
kind of viral on social cause was it there's some
kind of shade that she was thrown with him, with
him dating what I don't know what it was, And
that's how her name.

Speaker 2 (01:17:12):
She well it right away was like her versus tailor
her versat and I can't remember, Like what really start?

Speaker 3 (01:17:18):
I just feel like, why are you even at.

Speaker 2 (01:17:21):
The game cheering on the team that's playing him unless
you still have feelings for him?

Speaker 3 (01:17:26):
Like, it's weird.

Speaker 4 (01:17:27):
Is there a chance she's maybe dating a player on
the Eagles or she's friends with.

Speaker 3 (01:17:31):
Somebody, That's what I think.

Speaker 4 (01:17:33):
If that's a case, and that's desperate, this is Ruffle Club,
It's just weird. I'm sad.

Speaker 3 (01:17:39):
And there's a ton of photos of her.

Speaker 2 (01:17:41):
She's hanging out, she's wearing green and white pants, she's posting,
and she, by the way, was joining in on Chance
Fly Eagles Fly. Like that man's already down bad. You
really want him to know that you were at the
game because you.

Speaker 3 (01:17:54):
Know this this is gonna go.

Speaker 4 (01:17:56):
But at the end of the day, he's still winning
because he's dating the most famous person in the world
and she's never going to compare to that. And if
she's trying to get attention there, but she won't.

Speaker 3 (01:18:05):
Yeah, it's just I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:18:08):
I just I feel like if I found out that
my ex was like say, posting another radio station on
his feed, being like this, I love this.

Speaker 4 (01:18:18):
Show, this is the best.

Speaker 3 (01:18:18):
I'd be like, why use up obsess with me? Like,
you know what, that's what people are going.

Speaker 4 (01:18:25):
To think, especially when it's been I mean it's been
a couple of years the very least, right, she's still sad.

Speaker 2 (01:18:30):
This says they dated on and off for five years,
with them ending things for good in twenty twenty two.
Him and Taylor got together in twenty twenty three. So
we have a big separation there.

Speaker 3 (01:18:41):
It's just weird.

Speaker 4 (01:18:42):
But she's still connected if she's getting the tickets and
also getting down on the field.

Speaker 12 (01:18:45):
Something something happened with she got thrown into the news
when he started dating her. Yes, and somehow she got
it thrown into the mix.

Speaker 4 (01:18:52):
I don't know what it was. It was something some
kind of connection somewhere or was.

Speaker 3 (01:18:56):
It just the swifties just trying to like, I don't know, I.

Speaker 12 (01:19:00):
Felt like there's some kind of connection with she somehow
there was a connection between all three of them and uh,
and that's how she got thrown into the mix. I
think this is her trying to be like, hey, y'all,
you know, y'all were dragging me on social.

Speaker 4 (01:19:11):
Look at me. Now we're winning against my ex and
all of that again, definitely.

Speaker 2 (01:19:15):
Kayla Nicole has faced online backlash and scrutiny since her
ex boyfriend Travis started dating Taylor Swift. Nicole has said
that the constant comparison and hate are exhausting and that
she's been the victim of online chaos.

Speaker 4 (01:19:27):
Which I can imagine too. Yeah, but this is a
well comparison.

Speaker 3 (01:19:32):
Oh remember that, this says.

Speaker 2 (01:19:34):
She addressed the backlash in an open letter acknowledging embarrassing,
embarrassment and scrutiny.

Speaker 3 (01:19:39):
She is faced.

Speaker 2 (01:19:41):
She said that she doesn't respond to the constant Hey.
She said that she has a breaking point and would
like people to leave her alone. I actually remember her
doing like a sit down where she was like, please
leave me alone.

Speaker 4 (01:19:51):
I which I have to imagine it's pretty bad. But yeah,
when you do stuff like this, I think it just
makes it worse because now you're like feeding into the
entire thing.

Speaker 3 (01:19:58):
Oh yeah, because now are going to be like you're
a loser. I don't know. I just thought it was
so weird.

Speaker 2 (01:20:04):
I'm like, honey, it just again, it's like if you're
in a relationship and the person's being like, oh my
exod this, I'm finally gonna be like, go be with
your X.

Speaker 3 (01:20:13):
You're obsessed.

Speaker 2 (01:20:14):
Yeah, why are you on the Philadelphia Eagles sideline talking
about your jumping.

Speaker 3 (01:20:19):
On the bandwagon.

Speaker 4 (01:20:20):
It says she used to be cool with like a
lot of NFL wives and stuff like that.

Speaker 12 (01:20:24):
She was so here it is so when she when
Kelsey got with Taylor, she unfollowed, uh, all the wives
of some of the wives, and then that's when it
became a big thing. And then she started talking about
her truth quote unquote and kind of getting herself into
the mix.

Speaker 4 (01:20:42):
Right because I think she was upset seeing them all
hanging hanging.

Speaker 2 (01:20:45):
That would be her ful. I'm not taking away from that.
That would suck, Like you're in the inn and then
you're not because you break up. But I'm like, honey,
you're a cash like you're stunning, You're you're I think
from what I gather, she's got like a good career
going on all the things.

Speaker 3 (01:21:01):
Like what are you doing?

Speaker 4 (01:21:02):
But I think it seems clear that Travis is the one.
Travis is the one that got away. Yeah. She said
it was a major breakup, a major life change. She
lost weight over it. And all kinds of things.

Speaker 2 (01:21:12):
And yeah, and then, like Sandy said, then it's just
a constant of you getting compared like he's dating the
biggest superstar on the plane.

Speaker 3 (01:21:22):
Like there's nobody hiring, there's nothing, she's.

Speaker 4 (01:21:24):
Out your league. There's now comparison.

Speaker 3 (01:21:26):
No, there's not, there's not. And by the way, I
don't hear anyway.

Speaker 2 (01:21:29):
So this goes back to my ageal thing, like you
never want the next person after you break up to
be better than you, Like you want them to be
an absolute loser.

Speaker 4 (01:21:36):
Trash victory. Yeah, that's what I mean.

Speaker 12 (01:21:38):
I'll never date, but I fully, whole hearted believe that
I'm out the athlete stage. She says, instead, she wants
to date a record label exec or movie producer. Okay,
and so that way we can go to sporting events.

Speaker 3 (01:21:50):
Well, was she gonna find one at the super Bowl?

Speaker 12 (01:21:52):
Like, I'm let date night listen to her. Let date
night be the court side of the Lakers game. That's
my kind of guy.

Speaker 4 (01:21:59):
She's missing, life's missing, that's what it is. She's missing
the life.

Speaker 12 (01:22:05):
Yeah, wow, Yeah, that's your ideal. Let let the night
be caught side of the Lakers game.

Speaker 2 (01:22:13):
That's my kind of gosh, well, Foreign, she's out because
like friendlies is not going to make the cup.

Speaker 3 (01:22:19):
Forn' is like, oh take her the paint of pots.

Speaker 4 (01:22:20):
Yeah yeah, let's go. We paint some canvas of the Lakers.

Speaker 1 (01:22:26):
Rock your hits, brock Brock Brock Yo say in the
morning show with d J Foreign, it's sat Morning Bustin's.

Speaker 7 (01:22:34):
Number one for hip hop jam in ninety four five.

Speaker 3 (01:22:39):
All right, everybody that is going to do it for
us all this super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (01:22:43):
I feel like we talked super Bowl six to ten
because it's just there's that's if you you cannot open
social media without seeing Kendrick mame a Taylor Swift.

Speaker 3 (01:22:54):
Getting booed me that that one's hilarious too. She looked
at she looked at ice Plates like.

Speaker 2 (01:23:00):
Not me.

Speaker 3 (01:23:01):
Yeah no.

Speaker 2 (01:23:02):
She really couldn't believe it. She I think she was
taken aback. She was like, wait what, But I feel
like that.

Speaker 4 (01:23:06):
Was more so on the fact that she's dating Travis Yeah,
oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:23:12):
Yeah, that I mean the Kendrick mean, there's just there's
a lot of fun things that have come out of
the Super Bowl. So I'm saying I think tomorrow people
will still be chit chatting about it a little bit,
but then it will die out and then football is
over for a little bit of time, which is depressing
for a lot of people.

Speaker 4 (01:23:25):
What's next, Like, what do we have to look forward to?
Maybe the spring and summer?

Speaker 3 (01:23:29):
Yeah, you know, summertime, summertime, summertime sounds good?

Speaker 2 (01:23:33):
All right?

Speaker 3 (01:23:33):
Sound shout outs?

Speaker 5 (01:23:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:23:34):
Shout out to pebd Samantha and to m d art four.
Shout out to you on Instagram DJ forarn.

Speaker 12 (01:23:40):
Can I say that she's about to gift him a
really good gift to try to lift his spirits?

Speaker 3 (01:23:44):
Oh yeah, they got to be going on DAYK soon.

Speaker 12 (01:23:47):
Even on top of that, it's going to be something
crazy just to get his mindof for everything.

Speaker 4 (01:23:51):
You already know. She got the money to do it too, but.

Speaker 12 (01:23:54):
Actually too eas a am Go check out the podcast
at DJ the Number four e I G. And don't
forget my Volentine's Day pall is this Friday. Go grab
you tickets. It's going to be at Mezzo Lounge in Providence,
Rhode Island.

Speaker 2 (01:24:05):
That's actually a good point too, because a lot of
people were wondering if they won what he proposed. Valentine's
Day is Friday makes sense? I will be so, it
will be so corny. I would have thought it would
have been corny if he did at Super Bowl. I'll
think it's corny if he does it on Valentine's Day.

Speaker 4 (01:24:18):
But they'll say lock it down, though.

Speaker 3 (01:24:20):
We should lock it down if that's what he wants.

Speaker 4 (01:24:23):
Now and after that shoot up the club, Bang bang okay,
