Speaker 1 (00:00):
Say in the jam In Morning Show with DJ Fourign,
It's Sad Morning.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Cousin's number one for hip hop jam in ninety four five.
Hi rebody in the morning. So many locations this week
that we've gone Orlando, to Medford and now to Hell.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
We're not going to Hell.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
I think it's a valid question. I'm not listening. He
wants to discuss this. I said, you can, Okay, the
floor is yours.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
I got I got a DM and it was for
somebody in their gofund me page, directly from them. I
think it's a little weird when you're dming people, you're
gofunding where I think the most ideal way to do
it is if it comes up organic in somebody's story,
or somebody sends it to you, or you see a

(00:52):
post on Facebook. But if you get a direct message
from somebody asking for money, I think that's a little
bit different. I don't know if it's really does for that,
That's my opinion. I don't know. That's why I came
to my friends to ask, and I shouldn't be shamed
for her asking a question.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
What are you asking?

Speaker 2 (01:09):
He's basically saying, if you if you have a gofund
me setup for yourself. There's a go let's just use
an example. There's a GoFundMe for AG's dating life. She's
been spending a lot of money on outfits and she
needs more outfits. Example. If this is not real, someone's
gonna think this is real and nasty messages. For example, Okay,
so Ag does it gofund me help me go on dates.

(01:31):
She sends it to you directly, instead of like putting
it up in her Instagram story and being like, here's
my GoFundMe, she directly messages it to you. Does that
make you feel pressure? Do you feel weird that she
sends it to you directly and didn't just kind of
let you see it on your own.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
I mean, I think it's a dumb thing to be
getting a goalfundme for, but it speaks their point of
depends on what the gofundmes for. Ok Okay. If you're
trying to go fund me for some gear, yeah, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
So say it's a go fund me for a health
related issue.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Something like that. I might, I might, I might I
might feel impelled to donate. I don't know. I don't know.
I think I'll just leave them in the little you know,
the little box where you don't really you can read
their message, but they don't know they regular message and
keep it pushing. Life is over.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
I know the gofund me in which he's referring to,
I donated same. I would have donated whether it got
message to me directly or not. But because it got
messaged to me directly, I did, I feel a little
bit like pressure.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
They're a stranger to y'all. Y'all know them, we all
know them. Okay, then that's different.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
I was gonna go donate to this regardless, but then
because it was in my in, you know, I think
now I'm joining in. I thought to myself, Oh my god,
what if she sees that I've already looked at the
message but I haven't donated it. Like, I started to
feel pressure.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Pressures.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Yeah, that's where it's like a little bit.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
We are where I think at this point we have
to donate, and we were going to to that point.
But yeah, the go go fundme thing is definitely changing
because people have taken advantage of it and brought it
down to a level of like selfishness, so it ruined everything.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
I get mad. Random dms of just people saying, you know,
donate because of this, that and the third and I
just ignore them. Sorry.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
And then there's a group of people who want stuff
for like vacation fund and all that stuff which we've gotten,
and I'm the idiot who will donate to that too.
And I'm also the kind of person who's very skeptical
about things like that. Yeah, you're telling me that you
know you might need a surgery or something, But how
do I know you're not just going to take that
money and goal to dr oh, goal to Mexico.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
Go someone else and do something else with it. Yeah,
I don't trust people like that. I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
And go fund Me loves all this stuff because they
take a percern of us, of all of it. So
the more people out there asking for dumb stuff, the better.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Someone I knew that that that asked me. Yeah, I
consider it.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Yes, I've noticed that the gofunds go fundmes that I
do actually give to, I have to know the person
or have some sort of connection. The last one I
donated to before the one this morning was a girl
that I work with. Her sister was giving birth and
like it's still in a Cobaea almost died on the table.
So I don't need to say that because I had
a connection. Yeah, but I once was pressured.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Yeah, I was waiting, go go ahead, talk about this one.
This one was crazy.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
You got it's your thing. I don't want to.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Say the wrong thing, but I will say that somebody
asked you to donate money because they're something with their animal. Right,
I forget what the what happened to the animal, but
it was nothing bad. So you ended up giving money
to the person. But a week later they were all partying.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
And like I basically groomed their dog for them. And yeah,
the next week the person was like posting out and
about I might have even been on vacation.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Vacation. I was just about to say.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
That one was tough. That one was tough. And after that,
I was like, I'm done with this if I don't
have a connection to it. And the one today I
couldn't couldn't have been happier. Depressed absolutely the money for it.
But I certainly did feel a little bit of pressure
knowing that, like, oh my god, what if she's up
what if she saw that I had seen the message
and I hadn't given them money, And then you donated

(05:03):
before me, And then I was mad that we didn't
do like donation time together.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
I didn't know we had to like set a time.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
No, I didn't neither, but that I felt I felt
even more pressure because I'm like, oh my gosh, she's
gonna see that he donated. What if she thinks, oh,
she's not doing it.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Well, No, clearly she thinks he only donated because I
because I did.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
I know, because I donated. Two minutes later.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
I tell you, guys, this person that I know who
will ask me for money like all the time, six
kids and all this crazy thing. But then I see
her on vacation. I'm like, how can you be asking
right now? That's fine, but she needs to hear this.
How can you be asking for money saying you're struggling
and all this stuff, and then go on vacation, I know,
without your kids, right.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
I know, Oh my god, this has nothing to do
with gofundmes. But I age, I know we're having this conversation.
How do I even transition? Should I? Should we play
a song to break this up? Yeah? Let's yes, Jackie,
don't go anywhere to wrap this up. Fore and you
got the same message, so go look at your DM
this go fund me that we got today, you got

(06:02):
the same one I know you did, and I'm by
the way.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
Nothing.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
Maybe she didn't send this to Florida because she's not
doing it.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
He's trying, right, This is crazy, Jackie, don't go anywhere.
Agent and I were just chit chatting about this. We
have a little major news next.

Speaker 5 (06:22):
Oh baby, I don't want to know.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Hi, everybody, Good morning. It's actually in the gym in
morning show. We were just having a conversation about to
go fund me that all of a sudden, I see
Jackie on the line and it says my daughter is
the star on season eight of Love is Blind. I
don't watch that show. Never seen a singular episode Jackie.
Of no offense, respectfully, I barely get to watch TV
at all in my home. But your daughter was on it.

(06:49):
Now I got excited because I thought that this you
were gonna call about the upcoming season, because I know
the upcoming season is going to be in Boston and
they're going to film somewhere around here as well. But
season eight was the last season and your daughter was
the star of that one. What happened with her? Did
she get married?

Speaker 4 (07:07):
Well, she's not the star of it. She is the
star of season six Love is Blind, but she is
at the finale of season eight Love is Blind, and
you will have to see the end of it, fast
forward to the end. But she's doing great her season
with season six, and it's an awesome show. There's a

(07:28):
lot of behind the scenes things that you guys don't see.
I myself, I'm on the show with her as well.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Oh, now you can tell me. Is she with the
person that she met on the show?

Speaker 4 (07:42):
Well, actually you can. You'll now see that. Yes, she
is with someone that she met on a Love is
Blind show?

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Yeah, is your daughter.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
Ad at the end of season eight, Yes, a D
is my daughter?

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Okay. AJ's a big fan of the show. She's are
you are you fangirling right now? The mother is on?
Because I don't again, I don't watch, so I don't know.

Speaker 5 (08:02):
Yeah, so I think she's not saying anything. But A
D just had a huge announcement at this year at
the finale that just.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Happened, okay, which was she's engaged. I see grand babies
are coming.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
You're welcome.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
What yeah?

Speaker 1 (08:24):
Things you kill here?

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Okay, all right, well listen, congratulations to you. You got
a wedding to go plan now I do, and also
take the opportunity to watch her new show that's being sponsored.

Speaker 4 (08:37):
By Netflix as well. It's called What's the Reality and
it's on a lot of podcasts or any platform that
you can go on. She has an amazing guy, she's
an amazing woman, and the show is a really good show.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
Yeah we should. AD's man's name is Clay.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
I know that her guy's name is Allie from Love
is Blindneso.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Okay, I'm looking them up right now, beautiful couple.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
Thank you, thank you. So if you go to the inn,
you'll see the whole engagement announcement, the whole thing. Okay,
great show and she's an awesome woman.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
I love it. All right. Well, congratulations mom, that's amazing.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
I have a great day. All right. I've never been
more confused in my life. Okay, so let's start at
the top of this. We're talking about the gofund me.
I see Jackie's name on there. I get excited because
I'm like, oh my god, AJ and I were just
talking about the fact that it's the next season of
Love is Blind. I might even watch it because it's
gonna be Boston based, all Boston people. AJ and I
were like, wonderful know anybody. She's like, I don't know.
Maybe if I saw some of these people on the app.

(09:45):
Cool great, Florence says, ask Jackie's on hold. But I
think she's listening to hot because I don't know what
she's talking about. We're talking about go funding. This is
gonna make any sense. Now I'm even more confused because
it is. I thought Love Is Blind is US based.
It's a UK show. They have shows all over the country. Now,
all right, so what is the premise of Love is Blind?

Speaker 5 (10:04):
Okay, so Love is Blind is you have say, fourteen
men and fourteen women who date in pods, which means
that they go on dates and they cannot see each other.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
Okay, so they sit.

Speaker 5 (10:15):
And talk to a wall and ask each other questions
get to know each other.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
But they'll do activities to basically fall in love with
the person's personality, not their looks. Correct, got it?

Speaker 5 (10:24):
And then once they decide, hey, let's get engaged, that's
when they can see get engaged.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
Get engaged.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
Yes, So I think that's the premise of the show,
is that you have to find somebody that you want
to marry or something like that.

Speaker 5 (10:35):
Yes, so once they decide to get engaged, that's when
they can finally see each other. Then they go and
spend like a week at a resort, say in Honduras
or the Dominican Republic, and then they have four weeks
where they live together before deciding if they are going
to go through with the wedding.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
Jeez, Now I have to assume everybody on the reality
show is good looking, right.

Speaker 5 (10:55):
Yeah, I mean I think they pick pretty decent looking people.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
Okay, So is it a US base show or it's UK?

Speaker 5 (11:02):
Like I believe it started in the US. I could
be wrong, but Netflix has Love Is Blind in all
different countries.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
Now, got it? And so Ad was on the UK version.

Speaker 5 (11:13):
No, so a d was on season six in the US.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
Got it?

Speaker 5 (11:16):
She got engaged to Clay. Clay left her at the
altar and broke her heart and now.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
Oh damn, and I brought Clay up to mom and
so now.

Speaker 5 (11:26):
Through the Netflix universe, her and Allie met and they
just got.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
Engaged away from the show. Yes, god, Oh, so it's
real because it was like not on the show and
they probably had an event or something.

Speaker 5 (11:37):
Yeah, I don't exactly know like how their relationship started.
But yeah, they just announced that they got engaged.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
Got it? So the next season of Love is Blind.
I remember when they when they were casting here, mad
people were hitting us up being like, AJ, it needs
to be on this show. She tried to I did,
I did apply. I didn't hear back. They were like yeah,
but they announced that it's happening, and they have they
have all of their people.

Speaker 5 (12:01):
So they're currently filming. They've been spotted in Boston. People
have seen the gold cups that Love is Blind is
known for. So it seems like the episodes usually air
about a year after they filmed.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
So they've seen them. How because aren't they in these pods?

Speaker 5 (12:18):
Well, so once they leave the pods, they are then
living in Boston together and they're going out to do
activities and stuff.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
To to see if they're compatible for marriage.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Yep.

Speaker 5 (12:30):
So again, once you have your vacation at the resort,
you are coming home and they put you in like
a condo together. So now you're still going to work,
you're still living your normal life. You're going out to restaurants,
you're meeting family and friends, so you're out in public.

Speaker 3 (12:45):
So fascinating.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
I don't know if anybody will call, because there's probably
some legalities around it, but if you know anything about
The Love Is blind that is filming right now in
the city, maybe Jesus, maybe you saw somebody, Maybe you
saw gold cup, whatever that is, whatever that means. Six
one seven, nine three one one nine four five six
one seven nine three one one nine for five, if

(13:07):
anybody has any loves blinded,
