(00:00):
We are back with days. Itis cyber Monday. I can do all
my Christmas shopping here. We're talkingcyber Monday, Wave of the future.
An estimated seventy six million people willbe shopping online today, buying some really
dumb stuff online. I can keepdoing this all day. You can buy
it online. I can do thisall day and I never have to leave
the house. Let's go shim Let'sgo shopping. The show talk. In

(00:25):
its earliest days, the major functionof radio was news. Going on here,
beautiful there, everybody go, Whydon't you put on a show and
charge it mission? Okay, show, I would say, something with music

(00:49):
and comedy. Now you're talking,There'll be a show for everyone who loves
music and murder. Come on,chap wait, got it. It takes
so to dude, showtime. Areyou ready? I'm ready? Job mad
Happy Monday. If there is sucha thing, it's a big rock morning

(01:11):
Jackson here, Good morning, sixoh nine. Well, everybody had a
fantastic holiday weekend. Is it good? Did you have a going I did?
Yeah? Nice, nice long driveit was uh yeah, I drove
to and I left early enough toavoid, you know, the Thanksgiving traffic
madness. That starts, you know, usually the Wednesday before Thanksgiving at some

(01:34):
point in the afternoon. So Ileft earlier in the morning, right after
the show actually Thursday. But thenhit a like a six car pile up
on ninety five North, just likenorth of Baltimore. Yeah, it was
about an hour and a half andthen that that sucked. And I honestly
it was It wasn't that bad becausewhen I finally got to the accident and
saw it and saw that that's whatwas holding up traffic, and then it

(01:56):
cleared after that, I was like, yes, because I thought it was
it's going to be that the wholeway. What about that big mess in
Philly? Did that affect you?I didn't see that at all. No,
h what time do you know whattime of day that happened. It
happened from what I read, ithappened Tuesday night. There was a shooting
and then there was a Yeah,it caused a tractor trailer accident. Like
it was a mess. No,that's what I was afraid. You were
caught. No, no, no, no, this was just a pile

(02:21):
up. I thought it was justtraffic, but it was a It was
a bad one though, And Itell you what. Every time I drive
ninety five, I go, yeah, it's place, it's a death trap.
It's just y. There is nota time. There's not been a
single time that I drove that stretchin ninety five between DC and Philly that
I have not seen some sort ofmajor accident. Every single time. Yeah,

(02:42):
there, it's every day. AndI was talking to a buddy of
mine about it over the weekend. He's like, oh, yeah, I
used to you know, he wentto school in DC. He's like,
I used to make that drive allthe time. And he's like, uh,
and I would see it and he'slike I would just look at it
and go, well, wonder whenit's going to be my turn. Like
he's just like I just accepted itwas gonna happen eventually, Like god,
nah, dude, don't things likethat crazy. So Commanders dropped their third

(03:07):
straight on Thanksgiving Day. Listen,my day started out really well. My
kid played football in the morning. He had a ten am game and they
won by a touchdown. They hada great game, beautiful start to the
day. Is the last game withthis team he's playing for now. Next
year he plays for the for thehigh school. So for their last game

(03:28):
together, they go out with awin. I'm like, all right,
now, Thanksgiving. Now the commanders, I got a feeling, man,
I got a feeling. They're gonnaplay up. They're gonna play up to
Dallas. They're gonna make some noise. Now. They dropped their third straight.
Turns out. When you you know, get rid of your two best
defensive players, uh, then fireyou know, your d backs coach and

(03:50):
your defensive coordinator, You're probably notgonna perform well immediately follow. It's gonna
take a little time to rebuild.I think, you know, look,
yeah, I don't disagree with thedel Rio and Vieselmer firings. I don't
I think, you know, makinga step in the right direction. The

(04:11):
defensive backs have been suffering greatly, and there is no lack of talent there.
Those are very, very talented dbacs. So you got to go and
say, coaches, I was surprised, and tell me your thoughts on this.
One four nine three one double three. When I saw the statement,
because I was waiting for it tojust be a house cleaning, you know,

(04:32):
And when I saw the statement thatsaid, you know, Josh harrisoning,
I consulted with Ron Rivera and hetold me we should can these people,
and I went, damn, Ronmade it, just just threw a
couple of people under the bus, said we're good now. No, I
think the way they're doing it isyou know, there're gonna be a lot

(04:54):
of people that disagree, but Ithink, you know, it's on part
with what I would have done. And I know nothing about it, you
know, I'm just a fan.But you know, from the outside looking
in, it makes the most sense. I'd let Rivera write out the season,
see how that goes. But thedefense, because that was supposed to
be the shining star this year. The defense was supposed to be you know,

(05:15):
it turns out the offense is actuallypretty good and the defense has been
sucking ass. Yeah, terribly. So yeah, there we go. We'll
see what happens. We're gonna talkwith London Fletcher. Yeah, I know
it's been a few days a game, but we're gonna talk to him at
eight o'clock this morning. We'll gethis thoughts on all this. Gonna chat
with coach around Rivera tomorrow around eighto'clock and you know, we'll have our

(05:38):
usual cast of characters throughout the weekto discuss this past week, or maybe
we should just put that behind us. Maybe we shouldn't discuss the what was
it forty five to ten? Yeah, I shut it off. I did.
I never do that. I shutit off. I was like,
we were at my brother in law'shouse Thanksgiving, got the game on,
watching it with my kid, andall the nieces and nephews wanted to watch

(06:01):
I don't know, cartoons or something. At one point I was like,
watch your cartoons. Go change thechannel, do what you want to do.
I can't do this anymore. So, I honestly I did not even
want to see the end of thegame. Who was that bad? I
did watch the game last night.Wow, that's real football. Did you
watch the game last night? Ohmy god? The Eagles and the Bills.

(06:23):
Like I stayed up late. I'mgonna regret it later today. And
when I say late, I stayedup till eight thirty, but stayed at
watch the rest of the game. And wow, what the Buffalo and the
Eagles went to overtime last night. It was a hell of a game.
It went right down to the lastplay. I mean, it was fantastic.

(06:43):
Like I was texting back and forthwith Dennis. We'll chat with him
about it later this morning. He'slike, oh my god, this game.
This is incredible. I'm like,I know, this is amazing.
Just as a football fan, right, even if you hate both of those
teams or just are indifferent to bothof those teams, that was a fan
has a game to watch. Itwas exciting and it made me just hate
what the Commanders do, which Ikeep sick saying why can't they do this?

(07:09):
Uh, but it was good.It was good. Uh. Let's
see coming up here, and we'vegot things I know. At about six
fifty this morning, we're gonna giveaway some tickets for the Commanders Dolphins game
at FedExField. That's gonna be atough game, man, but it's at
home, and uh, you know, we'll see what happens. That's on
the third of December. We'll havethose tickets to give away all week.
Starting tomorrow, we're gonna have tablesto give away for overtime Live with Coach

(07:30):
Ran rivera d C Prime Stake andLobsters and a little bit later this morning
with the big word of the week. I got a word. I wrote
it down. I'm gonna remember it. Five letter word. Five letter word
this week long week. We havetickets at the end of the week to
give away for Hoodie and the Blowfish. Yeah, HOOTI and I thought Darius
Record just went off to do thecountry thing and it was all successful doing

(07:53):
the you know, he became ahuge country artist. He's getting the band
back together. It's the lube Joint. Wow, I'm not gonna lie.
I'd see that show. I mean, come on, who didn't have that
record? Everybody had that. Everybodyin their mother had their record. My
mother had that record. Isn't thatstill one of the top tend I think
so? Yeah? I think so. It was huge man. Uh so

(08:18):
that'll be cool. We'll have yourtickets for it. Thanks to Live Nation
coming up uh at the end ofthis week with the big word of the
week. All right, well, take care of some business here. Good
morning, six sixteen, Big RockRock. Good morning with Jackson on Washington's
Classic Rock, Big one hundred,Washington's Classic Rock. That's Big one,

(08:43):
Rambling Man, Alman Brothers Band isBig Rock Morning. It's Jackson. Here's
six thirty three and good morning. How did you even get on that topic,
because now you've got me diving downthe rabbit hole here for top ten
album? Yeah, what what pottalk about the Fish? Oh? You
were looking up? Oh yeah, because we were talking about how many people
own that Hoody and the Blowfish record. So you were looking that up when

(09:05):
you saw it, because yeah,I was checking to see if it was
in the top ten. The Eagleshave two records in the top ten selling
albums of all time, Hotel Californiaand Greatest Hits. That is amazing,
right, And then I was blownaway by how much the list has changed
over the years. Now, obviouslyyou can look at worldwide sales versus US

(09:26):
sales versus you know, do theyinclude streaming? Do they? But you
know, for the longest time,Fleetwood Mac held the number ones, and
I remember it was a huge dealwhen Back in Black from ACDC passed it
as the best selling record. Andboth of those are still in the Are
they even both on the top tenanymore? It looks like it depends on

(09:46):
which list you're looking at, asthe one that I'm looking at is different
than the one that you were lookingat. Is Rumors is six on this
one and Back in Black is five. All right, so they're still in
the there're still in the top ten, but number one Michael Jackson's Thriller,
which will probably remain there forever fiftyone point two million sales on this sad?

(10:07):
Is that one? Let me seewhat this list I was looking at
shows because I want to say howfar off our list are, because clearly
they use a bunch of different criteria. What do you show sales is fifty
one point two million? Yeah,so this says forty seven totally total certified
sales. But then it says inparentheses sixty six million claimed. I don't

(10:28):
know what that means. You wouldthink that with all these different lists out
there that why can't they all getthe numbers straight? Right? Why does
one say fifty two million the otherone says forty seven million? All have
different artists on here, like it'sshouldn't it all be the same? They
must just take into I don't know. That's a great question. I don't

(10:50):
know, because the other one thatI was looking at had a Bad out
of Hell on here, but thisone does not have Bad out of Hell
as as a top ten Brothers inArms was on the other list I was
looking at too. I could seethat one maybe, But yeah, Michael
Jackson's Thriller is just way out infront of art. They even even I

(11:11):
have way out in front of theeagles. What did they show? What
do you show for the eagles?I don't know what this you know,
I don't understand what it means.Yeah, this is about forty one million
too, So just off on thethriller once. What years your list come
out? Uh twenty three? Yeah? Same. Anyway, we were looking
at this and I was just like, it's crazy that an alleged pedophile still

(11:35):
has the number one selling record inthe world. And then you start,
of course, because it you know, it always comes up people go,
what do you think you think hewas? Or no, you think he
was or no, and it's like, for the longest time, it's just
like, I don't know, man, he's just weird and he's got some
mental illness that I mean, heyou know, he didn't get a childhood,

(11:56):
so I think he's trying to bea child as an adult. Who
knows. The guy was just off, but he was probably one of the
most talented people on planet Earth, right, undoubtedly, undoubtedly. But then
I saw that documentary where there werelike two or three kids who were describing
in detail the stuff that went down. You can't trust any documentary that has
an agenda like that. It wasthat one clearly did well. But you

(12:18):
could watch you could watch the documentaryand Michael Jackson claiming his innocence and then
go say the same thing. Well, yeah, like anytime that there's an
agenda, that's that's not a documentary, that's propaganda. But yeah, but
here's the thing, agenda or noagenda, it's their word against his.
This has nothing to do with agenda. You got three kids that said this
went down. You got Michael Jacksonand now his family saying that did not

(12:39):
go down. So then there's itjust comes down to, you know,
his word against their work. Youknow. So it wasn't quitted exactly,
so was OJS? Right, Soyou start going, all right, are
the kids lion? And you know, I suspect Michael Jackson were still alive
today, this would still be hauntinghim. Are the kids lion was to

(13:00):
play for money? Did they makeit up? Or did stuff really go
down? We're never gonna know. No, just keep buying his records,
man, huh, good record, that's a fact. Kidding me? So
that was that record might be evenif you're not a pop fan perfection.
Yeah, the only the only youknow, there's a few artists I can

(13:22):
think of that came close to holdinga candle to like Michael Jackson's first overall
talent. Prince Dude, that guywas. He could play every instrument he
could. I mean, the guywas just I would I would, I
would put Prince ahead of Michael Jacksonmaybe when it comes to like like being
well balanced, like overall talent, like because he was talented as so many

(13:48):
things, Prince could do anything. You could say, hey, Prince,
can you start at you know, safety for the commanders this weekend? Yeah,
I can do that. It's oneof those guys. Everybody's got that
friend. We've all got that friend, that guy that's good at everything no
matter what he touches. I hatethose people. I have a friend like

(14:09):
that. I hate him. Ihate him. He's like, he's the
guy. Like we'll go play golf, right, and you know, years
ago, I used to play quitea bit of it. It always sucked
at it, but it's fun.You know, you go out with some
friends. It's fun. Frustrating, but it's fun. And we bring my
friend who's good at everything, right, who's never played golf, and he

(14:31):
beats us all. You're like,I hate you. Same thing we did.
We were at some Christmas party andit was at a bowling alley and
its kind of one of these hipsterkind of bowling alis had a bar and
it was a cool place and he'dnever bowl and he beat us out.

(14:54):
I hate those people, the guys, no matter what they they're gonna be
good at it. I feel likePrince was one of those guys. Seriously,
Like if you were to say,a Prench want to go golfing,
well, I've never been, andthen he'd you know, outshoot everybody and
he would do it with style.Oh yeah, singing a song at the
high heels. Oh god. Nownow now I'm fuming about my friend who's

(15:16):
good at everything. It's like, you know, because I own a jiu
jitsu academy, I have never invitedhim to come train in my gym ever,
because I'm no, no, becauseyou know what, within a couple
of years, he'll be better thaneverybody, and I'll hate that. I'll
have to hire him an instruct herwithin ten years. All right, what

(15:39):
do we got? Things? Iknow coming up here in just a bit
plus this morning, as far asgiveaways go. We've got Commanders Dolphins tickets
to give away for the game atFedExField on the second third rather of December.
Tomorrow, we're gonna start giving awaythose tables and one hundred dollars gift
card to overtime with coach Ron Rivera. That's gonna take place on the fifth
at the see DC Prime Stakes andLobsters and for big word of the Week

(16:03):
Hoody and the Blowfish tickets, whichis what got us started on the top
selling records of all time. Bythe way that Krash said, who's not
even on there? So I thinkit's a shame, it's a crime.
Are they in the top one hundred? I haven't looked at the top one
hundred Google. Let's see Google,it is Hoodie top one hundred. This

(16:30):
is where I need to keep Alexaon one of my here all the time.
No, you know what it is, because every time I asked that
stupid Alexa a question that I reallywant to know the answer to, like
this is a wealth of knowledge ofgarbage, like what the weather's doing today
and who won a game yesterday,But anytime it's something I want to know,
it's like, I'm sorry, Ican't help you with that. I

(16:51):
can't answer that. I'm gonna sayHoody and the Blowfish are definitely in the
top one hundred and leave it atthat. I have a list of the
top hundred. I'm looking through it. I don't see. Well, here,
I'll go take a pee. Youlook through that, you don't see
it? No, but I couldhave overlooked it because I thought it was
in the top ten front I rememberit was, you know, oh well,

(17:12):
well, well yeah, yeah,I'll tell where's that. It's got
it as ten, number ten.Yeah, that's real leaseless. But this
list has the Eagles is number one. All right, Well, it doesn't
matter. All I wanted to knowwas is w Hood He was in there,
and hood he's in there. Whetherit's ten on that list or fifteen
on another, hood He's in there. That's all right. Sorry, Hoody

(17:32):
and the Blowfish. So we're gettingaway tickets for that show coming up in
August of next summer. So sittight, we'll get to that and more
coming up. It's six forty one, Big one hundred, Washington's Classic Rock.
It's Big one hundred, double oneTown to Georgia. It's Charlie Daniels
Band six fifty three. Good morning. I'm not gonna hold it against you

(17:55):
because it's you know what happens. There's nothing you can do about halst all
of us. Uh, but I'mI'm probably gonna catch your cold now because
we share this closet of a studiofor four hours. We do. And
I was just bragging. I typicallyalmost like clockwork, like do you get
do you get the colds? Likesame time year every year? Yeah?
Usually yeah, same so every yearlike clockwork, dude, clockwork the week

(18:21):
before Thanksgiving. Yep. I don'tknow why. I don't know if that's
just that when all the viruses arefloating around. Uh, if the stress
of the holidays weekend your immune system. No clue. But it was like
every year, I knew it whenit was coming. It might be a
week late, might be a weekearly, but it was always the same
time. And then the first timethat didn't happen was during COVID and it's

(18:41):
because we weren't going anywhere, right, we weren't leaving our house. Just
never got sick, never got anyright, nothing, And so that was
kind of a refreshing break. Andthen this year I made it Thanksgiving,
and I think it was just braggingto my wife. It was like,
eh, immune systems kick an assthis year. Haven't haven't got the cold

(19:02):
yet, hasn't him me yet?Walking this morning, he's going, I'm
like, damn it. At leastI have my voice back. Like I
completely lost my voice last week,so I spent Thanksgiving with with no voice.
You don't have to talk to theiMOS. But like two year old,
they bring every possible thing. Ohyeah, well my kid was you

(19:25):
know, a toddler and through likethe early you know grades of grade school.
Oh god, it was you know, every other month he was bringing
something home. Kids are nasty. They're just a little walking country dishes,
you know, just always snot running. I just something the nieces and nephews
over the holiday snot running down theirfaces, you know, hacking and sneeze

(19:47):
in and rubbing the you know, rubbing the snot off her face and then
grabbing a handful of food out ofsomething that everybody's in. You're like,
god're gross, nasty little creatures. Why do we have him about eight year
old? Well, we'll do it. He'll wipe his face with his hand
and then just wipe it on thecouch, Like, dude, don't do

(20:07):
that. You're gonna make everybody sickand out here, you know. Yea
god, my kid doesn't like.I have a teenager and he still does
a thing where like, you know, if he doesn't have a napkin and
he's eating something, he's got stuffon his hands, he'll just like look
around and just wipe it on hisshirt or his pants. I'm like,
dude, you realize there's a napkinlike six feet away in the kitchen.
Go get one. Yeah, right, and so well, you just waving

(20:30):
on the news. That's what hesounds like. It's always mumbling, you
know, teenagers. It's like, use your words, speak, stop them
mumbling. Oh you just wait, you wait till your kids are teens.
You're gonna love that. No,you're gonna see, I'm gonna be honest
with you. You're absolutely gonna hateit. So enjoy your time now.

(20:52):
Yeah, I'm enjoying the colds andthe all the other stuff that they bring
in. My neighbor has a teenageson and he is you know, he's
cool. Yeah, they're all toocool. They're all like that dude.
Everyone everyone him and all his friendsit's always like they're too cool four boards.

(21:15):
They just let stuff slide down exactly, and I'm like, it's like,
you know, Sylvester Stallone on Valume, like, hey, what do
you want for dinner? That's cool? What the ever you saying? Speak?

(21:37):
I hope it's a phase, man, because you're right, they all
sound like that, like him andall his friends. He's got a couple
of the friends that will be like, you know, outgoing and well spoken,
and you're like, now that's agood kid. Who are your parents?
I want to meet him? Youknow that would? I never thought
about it until this morning, butit really does sound like a drunks of

(22:00):
us are still on my kid andall his friends, all teenagers, sound
exactly like that. Yeah. Yeah, and then they got all their crazy
words that they use. Now I'lltry to get into that. No cup,
what it is? Let me pullthis up in elsewhere. I was

(22:22):
looking for my notes here because Iwanted to do things I know, and
for some reason it disappeared off mynotes, So I just have to go
to an alternate source for it whereI have it coming up later this morning.
For those Miami Dolphins commander's tickets, here's what we're gonna do. I
think we're gonna play what have welearned on the show today again? So

(22:45):
it could happen. I don't know. Maybe we'll do it sometime around when
are you kidding me? I wasgonna say we'll do it sometime around when
Dennis steps in there we go sorry, I'm like, then my password wouldn't
work. It's like I'm having onMonday, man, dude, seriously.
And then we'll give you a littletrivia question about something that took place in
this morning. It'll always be prettyeasy, and I will give you a

(23:07):
chance to win those tickets for thegame on the third of December. So
things I know that I learned thismorning. Did you know Brian Cranston in
Breaking Bad Now, he didn't actuallycook meth on the show, but chemist
from the DEEA taught him how tomake it and process at a high level

(23:33):
so that his performance would be morerealistic. So they told him, like,
this is how they do it,so he could make math. They
taught him how to make meth.Yes, and not just math. They
taught him how to make the bestmyth so his performance could be more convincing.
When George W. Bush was runningfor president back in nineteen ninety nine.
Do you remember this, He wasasked the name of his favorite childhood

(23:56):
book. You don't remember this? This was hilarious. This is another w
moment. He was asked the nameof his favorite childhood book, and he
picked The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Awesome. Cool. It turns out that book
came out in nineteen sixty nine.He was twenty three years old when it
came out. You want to know, like, you know, he got

(24:17):
put on the spot. Here's thething he got put on the spot.
He named the kid's book. Heknew, right, And wouldn't you you
know, put on the spot ifyou couldn't think one. He named the
kid kids Wood. And of courseall the media is going to go find
out when that came out, saidyou nave your favorite kid's book. Probably
not. I have to think aboutit. I had a book when I

(24:37):
was a kid that like it.I couldn't tell you what it is,
but it was like the future andit was like, you know, things
that will have in the future. And it showed like, you know,
glass domes on the moon and flyingcars and you know, people would rocket
packs and you know, and Thatwas probably one of my favorite like books
to look at the pictures because Iwas like, when I grew up,

(24:59):
We're go to live on the moon. We got screwed by the way,
We're not living on the moon. But no, I can't remember one.
You Danny of the Dinosaur. That'sa terrible book. That's the only one
I can remember that I know.I never heard of. It was the
big one. Good Night Moon isthat the one? I used to read

(25:19):
that to my kid when he wasa tiny. Good Night Moon a famous
book, right, And I havea I have a version of that called
good Night Goode that I used toread. It's about monsters, It's about
a hockey player. What is thehokey pokey? Is called that? In
America? It's called that in Canada, it's called that in Australia, But

(25:42):
in England it's called the hockey coochie. I don't know the good question.
Uh, maybe that'll be on ThingsI Know tomorrow when I know it.
Uh. The piano that Freddie Mercuryplayed when Queen was recording Bohemian Rhapsody,
this is a cool little tidbit ofinformation, is the same piano that McCartney

(26:04):
played when the Beatles recorded Hey Jude, how cool is that? Say?
That's kind of a cool, coollittle tidbit. I'm just gonna leave it
at that, because I'm not gonnabe able top that. If you were
Freddie Mercury and you sat down atthat piano to play, you knew that
that was the Hey Jude piano, you'd be like, don't screw this up,
little piece of history I'm playing onhere. So let's uh take a

(26:27):
break here seven oh two. Wehave Letter of the Day for the Big
Order of the week coming up atabout seven point thirty. We've got,
as I mentioned, the Commander's Dolphinstickets to give away a little bit later,
and we'll also get to Florida ManSports with Dennis and London Fletcher on
the program about eight o'clock this morning. It's Big one hundred, Washington's Classic

(26:48):
Rock, Big one hundred and Journeyanyway you wanted. Seven fifteen and good
morning Jackson. Here. Oh,there's trouble in Paradise. Hall and Oates
are in a fight. Hall issoon, dude, it's not even a
fight. He's actually suing him.Did I hear right that that he took
out a restraining order against Maybe Ididn't see that part, but maybe Hall

(27:11):
is sewing notes for being out oftouch with business agreement some undsealed documents that
just came up. Uh, lookinginto the inner workings of the legal rift
between legendaries Soft Rock Duo, YachtRock Duo, Hall and Oates, Daryl
Hall, this blew me away.Daryl Hall is seventy seven years old.
Darrel Hall is almost eighty years old. John Oates is seventy five. You

(27:36):
know what this is. You knowwhat you need to do Before I even
talk about this, we need tocall the Hall of Oates, the calling
Oates. You got the number,Yeah, I'll give it to you ready,
So if you want to it isa great party trick, by the
way, if you if you wantto try it sometimes it is seven two
six six two eight three seven,It's seven one six Oats and it's whenever

(28:04):
you need Welcome to Colon notes, your emergency, halland Oates. You hear
one on one, Please press one? Do you hear it? Go?
Please press two? We did thatlast. Do you hear money to many?
Please press three? Yeah? Doyou hear Colin Oates? Yeah?
There we go? All right,So Daryl Hall seventy seven, suing John

(28:29):
Oates, who's seventy five. Oates, his wife, and another trustee in
the suit, alleging that Oates plansto sell his side of the joint venture
and that that would violate their businessagreement. Nashville judge temporarily blocked Oates on
Wednesday and ordered that more documents thanthe case be unsealed after the lawsuit filed

(28:53):
under Seal November sixteenth. Blah blahblah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
blah, and basically Halls because Oateswants to sell the rights to his half
of everything. So he and Hallis saying, dude, you can't do
that, can't sell it. Youknow what it comes down to. I

(29:14):
read a little more into it.That's groove. It comes down to which
songs can they perform live? Whenthey perform solo, it turns into a
beef fuck who owns which song?Who wrote which song? And now Oates
is like, screwed, I justwant to sell my half. That's a
mess, yes, But then again, Hall is seventy seven, He's yeah,

(29:38):
probably I'll live. Oats seventy five. I don't know why this is
funny, but it is. There'ssomething about just saying Oates Hall and Oates
a man here. Yeah that wasa jam. What happens? Let you

(30:00):
change songs? What have you hadto right now? Wouldn't let you go
to rich girl? No, I'mdone. You're stuck with it. But
I can play it from here. You're stuck with it because you never know
when you're gonna need that man likeemergency Haul and Oats there it is cause

(30:21):
you know it. Don't about it? There we go. Huh. I
actually do like this song like Ilike it. I do like Private Eyes,
but it don't douse you know,uh huh, won't get you to
bogg and Look. Darryl Hall couldsing and he knew it. He at

(30:47):
one time said that he thought hehad the best voice in music. He
did. He self proclaimed the bestvoice in the world. Yeah, all
right, not s getting now nowI think of not just something of a
roller skating rinks that's not working. So the skating reef with the strove going,

(31:12):
oh boy, do it a backwardsdance? Yeah? Is this private
ice? Yeah? Yeah, thisis too much much on this day.
I believe it was forty nine yearsago. Yes, it was nineteen seventy
four. It was certified gold.I'm going to do something to you,

(31:33):
and I'm going to apologize for itin advance, because once I do this,
it's going to be stuck with youall day. It's possible it could
be stuck with you all week, and you're going to curse my name for
the entire day, possibly for therest of the week. This song went
gold forty nine years ago today,in nineteen seventy four. I think it

(31:55):
is the worst earworm ever because whenit sticks, it stays in your head
all day. And it was KungFu fighting. Do we have a clip?
I would love to? Oh there, it is certified gold. You
know. Carl Douglass tried to doa follow up to this song because this
was such a huge hit, calledDance the Kung Fu. It bombed.

(32:22):
That's why you've never heard of it. It tanked fast as lightning. Here
we go. Wow, this bringsback memories, man. Uh huh.

(32:43):
Yeah. When I was about tosix seven years old, six years old,
my dad used to have this hugelike stereo system where he had like
a reel, the reel and vinyland eight track all in one big system
with these huge speakers, and Iused to my mom would turn on the
radio station and I would just sitin front of that thing waiting for Kung

(33:05):
Fu Fighting to come on. AndI remember it. I still remember it,
like I would ask my mom, when's it coming? Are they gonna
play? Trust me, they playit every three hours. It's like it's
coming. And I would get allexcited when it came on, and then
I just started asking when they weregonna play it again? Like, thinking
back, my mom's to probably justwhen I bought the record. Yeah,
did you used to call the station? What's that? Did you call the

(33:27):
station? Oh? Yeah, yeah, yeah, well I used to.
I used to call the request songsand then and thinking back, I think
my mother did this to get meout of her hair. Like when my
aunts would be over and they werejust like, you know, drinking wine
and bs and and I was buggingthem, she would say, will you
go request me a song on theradio station because she knew she knew I

(33:49):
would call it and it would ringand ring and ring and ring and ring,
and because I was a kid,I would sit there and let it
ring for an hour and they wouldanswer and I'd request it and if it
didn't play in like twenty minutes,I would call it back. And she
had me occupied all night trying torequest like Seals and Craft or some ridiculous
garbage on the radio station. ButI remember as a kid imagining why he

(34:15):
wasn't answering the phone, and Iwas like, wow, he's probably And
in my head I pictured like awarehouse filled with final records, and I
was like, well, when he'snot answering the phone, it's probably because
he's way in the back of thewarehouse picking out the next record. As
a kid, that's what I thought. I used to be like, well,
I'll just have to wait until hecomes back from getting that record.

(34:35):
It was probably a long way.So in reality, the dude's like busied
out the phones or something, issitting there smoking weed and has your numbering.
Yeah. Void. No, theydidn't have callor a d back then.
Man, they didn't have anything. They just didn't answer the phone.
All right, there, I hopeyou're uh. I'm just letting us stick

(35:01):
a little more. There you go, all right, live with that.
You're welcome. It is seven twentythree, big one hundred. Walk this
way. Washington's classic rock. It'sa big one hundred seven thirty six.
Good morning. It'll change your life. Dude, get a Nettie Pott.
Actually get the new vase changed mylife. I got it last Christmas and

(35:25):
you just squirted up your snout. My wife was like, you want what
for Christmas? So I had afriend at work years and years ago who
used to use the netty pot alot. If you're not familiar with that,
it's like I think it's it mightbe an old Indian thing, but
you take a pot and you knowit's you warm some water up and you
got to use like a saline solution, but you can use like table salt

(35:46):
anything, just to get that rightbalance, because if you stick water up
your nose without the salt, itburns. If you put too much up
there, it burns. You haveto get right, like right where the
human body is. That's why thepre measured ones are nice. But I
used to just use a little potand it looks like a little teapot,
and you know, she showed mehow to do it. You put,

(36:07):
you know, just the right amountof salt in with this much water and
then you basically tilt your head overa sink and you'd take the like into
that teapot and you'd stick in onenostril. And that seems weird because I
was like sketched to do it thefirst time. I'm like, you want,
you know what, And you startpouring it and it goes up through
your nostril and out the other one, and you had to do it over
sinc and it kind of made amess because you go up and out and

(36:29):
it would clean off, it wouldclean all that crap out. But then
this company, Nuvage came out.I should endorse them. Where's a salesperson
when I need one? Because Ilegit love this thing. It's it's a
unit. It's battery powered, nomess, no fuss, no muss.
Right, it's got a bottom,it's got a top, it's got the

(36:50):
battery apper unit. You put thewarm water in. It comes with little
saline packages so you don't have tomeasure it anymore. You put it on
there, you click the lid down. It opens the saline package into the
water, and then it's got twolike spouts that you put up to both
nostrils at the same time at thesame time, and you press a button
and all you do is press thatbutton and it's like shoots it out one

(37:14):
side, vacuums it out the other, so it doesn't there's no mess.
You just put it up to yournose and it goes. What does it
feel? Honestly, you hardly evenfeel it with this, you hardly even
feel it because this when the salinesolution is like perfectly matched with the body
salt lentent, you can't even tell, right, So you just put it
up there and you watch it.You watch the top one empty is it's

(37:37):
going up and through and it dumpsit into the bottom one. And with
somebody like you right now who's supercongested, you would look into that bottom
when you're done and you go,oh God, that came out of me.
This thing. The reason I sayit changed my life because if you
have allergies life saver, if you'reabout to get a cold, you start
using it when you're getting the cold. I swear to god, it shortens

(37:58):
a duration because you clean all thatcrap out a couple times a day,
right, because that's where the bacteriamultiplies in your in your in your sinuses,
and so you blow all that stuffout. And then finally if you're
just like you are now, justalready congested. It just cleans it out,
gets it all out of there, makes it feel better instead of sitting
over in the corner of corner thirtyseconds. You know it works. I'm

(38:22):
telling you, man, I swearby it. Love the thing, love
it. Have you had a coldsince you've been using it? Nope?
No, no, because I gotthe last Questionmas. Remember how I told
you I hadn't had my yearly coldyet. Yeah. Now I can't say
that's why. But if you remembera couple of weeks ago when I first
told you about it, I rememberI came in here and I said,
I think I'm getting a cold.I woke up, I was congested,

(38:45):
a little scratchy throat. I waslike the typical, like, here comes
a cold. I immediately started usingthat and used it for like two days.
Never got a cold. And haveyou had allergies since you've had it?
I don't really have bad allergies,but if I start to get a
little hints of it, I useit and no issues. Yep. But
now, but here's the thing,I don't have bad allergies. I don't

(39:06):
know how it'd be for somebody whohas like real allergies. You know,
mine arm bad. Yeah, I'mtelling you, dude, life saver.
I gotta try it. I don'tknow, curious, I don't know if
they sell them on here. Iam plugging this company. They don't give
me anything. It's just from experience. They it for me. Like,

(39:27):
was like, oh, they dosell them on Amazon. They are a
hundred bucks, dude. You canhave it by today or tomorrow. You
got Amazon Prime and you're gonna go, oh, one hundred bucks. But
trust me, it's worth it.It's worth it. That's what my wife
said too, when I asked forone for Christmas. She's like, you
want one hundred bucks for a batterypowered Nettie pot. You want me to
spend one hundred bucks on a nettypot? I was like, yes,

(39:49):
please. She got it for meand I use it all the time.
Man, I love that thing.I'd say you could borrow mine, but
that's kind of a yeah, that'skind of nasty. The only thing that
sucks is you got to clean ita lot. You know, you know
every time you use it, youneed to clean it afterwards, make sure
it's clean. Say what if Iskip a cleaning I wouldn't do that.
That's I mean, it's your germsman. You do what you want to

(40:12):
do. I felt really bad forthis. This tomorrow I read I think
it was in the Washington Post maybethis morning I read more on that that
the woman who had her dog kidnapped, you know, the rash of dog
kidnappings, dog nappings throughout DC.And it just felt so bad for this
lady because, first off, petsto some people are like family. Dude,

(40:34):
this should not fall under just likeU it's another burglary. No,
when you see somebody's pettiss like forsome people, that's like stealing their child.
I mean, people become very attachedto pets. You heard about this
lady and she was out walking herdog and there's been this rash of I
guess French bulldogs must be worth alot of money because that seems to be
what they're targeting, right, Andthis was caught on camera. I watched

(40:59):
it this morning. She was comingin after taking the dog for a walk.
Two black cars pulled up. Theyran up and said give us your
dog or we'll kill you, basically, and she handed over her dog named
Hendricks, and they ran back tothe car. And drove off with six
month old Hendricks. Now, thesad thing about this was Hendricks this dog
was a gift because her dog thatshe owned before, just three months prior,

(41:23):
died in that flood at the DistrictDogs. Yeah, what was this
awful? Awful? So her dogdied in this flood and she says,
you know, I had to spendmonths thinking about like, oh my poor
dog drowning, you know, andthen somebody got her another dog as a

(41:44):
gift, and she said it reallyhelped in her healing process. And some
jerk off come and steal it.Rember, has there been a rap of
dog stealings or dog rippers? Ithink so. Yeah, I'd heard that
they were targeting French bull ducks.I'm assuming they nap them and then they
resell them, right like a Frenchbulldogs pricey. Yeah. The carjackings are

(42:07):
through the roof right now. Yeah, that's kind of everywhere I saw shity
looking characters this morning. Hey,doesn't Dustin our boss have a French bulldog?
He does? Any better be careful, man, Yeah, walking that
through DuPont Circle. I hope he'spacking. Somebody's gonna come steal what's his
dog? Named Nick. He's gonnasteal his dog. Better protect Nick,

(42:31):
dude. They're after the French bulldogs. Uh did you run him over?
What'd you do? Sketchy people? You saw? I gave him a look.
Yeah, just give him a look. I don't know if the look
works. No, not. Ifthey did, I think I deterred them
from if they have guns in whatyour car? Probably not. I don't
think the look's gonna determin I was. I was moving and they were walking.

(42:53):
Yeah, yeah, I look sketchy. Sketchy too, definitely. Yeah,
look, man's good. Keep yourhead on the swivel. Yeah,
even if they were completely innocent,it doesn't matter. Keep your eyes open.
You never know. I could judgefrom my car. Yeahah, I
never know. All right. Soit's seven forty four. It's time for
your letter for the big word ofthe week. A big word of the

(43:15):
week on Big one hundred. Today'sletter is the letter F. The letter
F is in frank. Today's letteris the letter F. At the end
of the week, it'll spell aword. That word will win you.
Hoody and the Blowfish tickets. Idon't know why I laugh every time I
say hoody in the Blowfish but they'regetting the band back together and they're playing
at JP lou blythe So the letterF is today's letter quick break here back

(43:39):
to it in just a few sevenforty four. It's a big one hundred
Washington's classic rock. It's a bigone hundred dirty Deed's done dirt cheap seven
fifty five. What was the nameof the thing he called in about.
I remember forgot it was not Navage. That was the one that a gentleman
that works in the industry medical deviceindustry, and he recommended one that was

(43:59):
more affordable. Well, we savedit, didn't we. So we wrote
it down, We'll pass it onto you and just bit here if we
find it. But we were talkingabout that new vash and then when there
was a commercial that aired right afterwe were done talking about it, I
swear to god it was completely coincidence. I have nothing to do with that
company. I don't care if youbuy their crap or not. I was
just telling you how well it workedfor me. I was reading a little

(44:22):
more about that girl that had herFrench bulldog stolen. Huh, And I
was watching the video again. It'sso sad because the guy runs off with
her dog, and she's standing onher porch and you can see how distraught
she is. Now upset she is, and there's nothing she can do.
And she said that her and herfriends had actually even had a conversation because
they'd read about this happening around thecity and her and her friend had had
a conversation, or maybe it washer mother, but she had had a

(44:44):
conversation with somebody about what would shedo if that happened to her, And
they were like, well, Iguess I would just have to give the
dog up. You know, yourlife's more important, don't just get But
the fact that they talked about it, yeah, like the day before it
happened, and that's what she hadto do. I didn't realize that she
was on her porch, so shewas. She was finishing a walk.
If you watch the they have anon security camera. If she was finishing

(45:07):
the walk and she was walking upto her front door and the guy parked
pulled up in the street, twocars one and then another one and he
just ran up the steps and saidwhatever he said to her and took the
dog, ran down the steps, got in the car and drove off.
Crazy. Yeah, so I myplan because I have a little pit bull

(45:30):
and those are in high demand.Everybody wants one. I have a cat,
like if you want to get intorobbery, you know, so I
got a thing. First off,if you try to steal my dog and
eat your face, it's not myproblem. But no, I do I
have, Like, I have aplan with my That was my older dog,
because I figure like he'd be likecool, different scenery and I'd be

(45:53):
like, yeah, you've been arounda while to see you, buddy,
he's a mutt. But my littleone, well, I uh got a
plan with her. So she's gotyou know, she's got one of those
little backpack things, you know thatit's kind of like the harnesses with pockets
on the side. Right. Iput a little Cyanide pill in there.
I'm like, if you get taken, it's like the old CIA agents,

(46:14):
remember the old like Cold War CIAguys. Yeah. I was like,
if they get you, eat thepill, Eat the pill, eat the
pill. You'll go quietly, You'llsmell almonds. Then you'll go, well,
don't most dogs have trackers. Sowe were just talking about that off
the air, like if they're chipped, what are these people doing? What
is this crime ring that is stealingFrench bulldogs doing are they just reselling them,

(46:39):
you know, in the hood somewhereand nobody cares if it's chipped or
or is it more organized where they'regoing and taking the dog somewhere and having
the chip removed and then reselling themfor thousands of dollars? Like what are
they doing? I mean, there'sclearly a ring, there's clearly and it's
an organized crime thing, and butI'm curious how it works and is this

(47:01):
group different than the carjackers right right? You know in carjackers that could you
know, there's been so many ringsof carjackers over the years for the past
like a couple of years that theyused to chop them up, and then
for a while they were putting themon a boat and sending them over seas.
The dogs are the cars? No? Like the cars. That was

(47:22):
the thing in New England for awhile. They were like, you know,
for a while it was like,oh, they chop them up,
sell them for parts, and Toyotaswere big because you know, you could
tell Toyota parts anywhere. And thenand then there was a thing where they
were stealing nice cars and they weredriving them down to the you know the
like, down to the ports, and they'd put them on a boat and
they'd ship them over seas and resellthem. That that's big time organized crime

(47:45):
ring. Are they are they doingnow? I don't know. Well,
is there still the thing with withthem stealing the wheels off the cars?
Because that was the thing for awhile. It was huge. Like I
saw a couple of those and ifyou ever saw one of the dogs,
its broad day and they just thereweren't even blocks, it was just all
the wheels removed. Yeah, thecar just sitting there. Yeah, I

(48:05):
saw a couple of those. Yeah, Well the jerks could at least leave
the blocks. I mean they haveto, they have to. They have
to. They have to jacket upto get them off. I don't know,
I don't know. I think thatwas more small time selling wheels and
tires, wasn't it, baby? But the removal was impressive. Yeah,
quick, like Nascar dudes gone.I would like to to know what they're

(48:30):
doing with those dogs though, becausethey yes, they're chipped. I'm sure
most of them, especially a purebreddog like that's probably chipped, I would
think, So I know what theydo and then you got to get the
chip out. Like if they getthe chip out, sure, they just
take it to They probably know ifthat and he does a little incision and
pulls it out, what's that bigof a deal. They're just usually right
under the skin on their back, like on their shoulders. At least my

(48:52):
dogs are huh, London flat,You're gonna jump on the show here in
a bit and uh, we'll talkthat forty five to ten loss wasn't pretty.
That's coming up just around the cornerat eight the clock hits Big One
Hunter, Washington's Classic Crock Hits BigOne Hunter, Purple Hayes, Jimmy Hendricks

(49:12):
The dog's name was hendricks Man.I can't get over the dog man stolen.
That's a that's a scary story hauntingme all morning. London. Fletcher
is on the line to talk alittle Commander's football with us this morning.
Good morning, London. How areyou. I'm doing great, Jackson?
How are you pretty good man?How was your How was your Thanksgiving?

(49:32):
Thanksgiovle was terrible, man. Youforget we were down down in Dallas losing
to the Cowboys. It was nota very happy Thanksgiving. I kind of
knew that. Well, yeah, let's talk about that game, forty five
to ten. I'll be honest withyou, I did it for the first
time this season. I did shutthe game off towards the end. I

(49:52):
was just like I had enough.I you know, I felt like for
a short time there that the CommandersWill looked like they could hang with that
team. I mean, sam Housestill ended up with three hundred yards on
the night. Curtis Samuel had agreat game with like one hundred yards,
nine catches, and we're stilling witha forty five to ten loss. What

(50:12):
are your thoughts on the game?Yeah, you look at that and you
see the final score. You mentionedthe forty five to ten obviously was the
twenty ten games going to the tothe fourth quarter and really just the misopportunities
early in the in the ball game. I thought, you know, the
plus plus forty three yard line earlyin that ball game, I think it
was fourth and three situation. Youknow, maybe thinking hindside Brown probably would

(50:37):
have wanted to go for that.We were just not taking advantage of for
a field position. We were onthe plus fifty I think five times in
that ball game on the same awaywith ten points. That really just not
capitalizing the fourth and one third one, not picking up first downs. So
that really was a major different outcomingthe ball game. So let me ask

(51:00):
you a question, is uh isDak Prescott that good or did our d
backs have a bad night? Youknow, it's it was a little bit
of both. I thought I thoughtthey died up some nice plays. Yeah,
you know, defensively, we've beengiving up explosive plays off season a
long souf, you know, andwhen it sees to happen over and over

(51:21):
again, you kind of realize that'skind of where we are and what we
are at this point in the season. But Dak's having a heck of the
season. Man, he's playing out, staying the football. Guys, got
some really good receivers, you know, Ceedee Lamb has been been phenomenal.
Then when you get Bradon Cooks playinglike he's playing, yeah, you know,
it just makes a lot tougher. But for us defensively, just not

(51:44):
playing to our leverage, not playingthe discipline of the defensive where it's supposed
to be played. And when youdon't do those things, you give up
touchdowns. Yeah. Yeah, well, you know, it's like you mentioned,
Ceedee Lamb, and I remember thinking, like halfway through that game,
I was like, man, myguy, he's good. I wish we
had a CD Lamb. And thenI went, wait a second, we
got Dotson. Oh you talk aboutyeah, yeah, we got we got

(52:05):
some receivers. Yeah, that's whyI say that. It was like and
then I stopped myself and I waslike, no, no, no,
no, we have McLaurin, wehave Samuel Dodson, like, we have
an awesome core of receivers. Andhonestly, when I look at the defensive
backs, I think that there's extremelytalented guys playing that position. And then
you start to wonder, and obviouslysome others did too, if if it's

(52:29):
coaching on defense. And then wesaw that, you know, del Rio
and Visamer were let go. Sowhat are your thoughts on those those positions
being eliminated and moving forward? Well, I was surprised that that Ron,
you know, made the move withyou know, letting go Jack and also
letting go a breat Visa Mayer. It was a situation where I guess he's
saying, hey, you know,he was trying to eventually wait around to

(52:52):
see if the defuse could turn itaround like it had a year's past,
but well, you could continue togive up the explosives in it. And
this is a critical year for theentire coach staff a Ron and particularly you
know, you've got to do allthe ship group and you fight for your
job, and you know, it'slike, okay, let me let me
see if I can make this changeand be a see if I can change

(53:13):
things and and and save save thisseason. So I was surprised by but
I understand, you know, whatRon is doing behind that and seeing that
he can, you know, changekind of the trajectory of this season and
also and mainly the trajectory of thisdefense with him calling the plays now right
right, And you know, I'mand I'm paraphrasing, but I think I

(53:35):
read somewhere that he said something alongthe lines of like are things going to
change if we don't change things kindof deal? And so yeah, so
I can kind of understand where he'scoming from. So let me ask you
a question. Being a player, this is something you would know, is
like, with him taking over thedefense, are they gonna have to learn
like a new system or is hejust going to continue to do what they

(53:57):
were already doing with some tweaks orhow does that work. There won't be
a wholesale change of the system. You can't do that at this point in
the season, right, You'll you'llcontinue to the base of the defense will
remain the same. Really, alot of it is, you know,
situations like when you call things, and maybe there's the different nuances of different
things. I know we were ahigh man and man team. Maybe it'll

(54:20):
be a little bit more zone basedfootball team. And I know in the
past and Ronners coaching a bunch ofdifferent things places, a bunch of different
schemes. He's been, you know, in a three fourth game, He's
been in a you know, fourto three zone based scheme. So you
know, what's the what's his philosophyis gonna be years last stop at Carolina,
there are a lot more more zonebased defense. So maybe maybe there's
a higher percentage of zone being playedby the defense. But it's also a

(54:45):
different voice, a different with maybedoing things. And there's a Christian Gantein
is going to take over as theas a defensive backs coach. He was
a he was coaching the nickelbacks,so maybe his teacher will be different from
what Brett Riechelmeier was teaching. Soit's a it's a thing where you're seeing
different voices and a different philosophy andalso just from a play called standpoll on

(55:09):
how those things go. So therewill be changes from that standpoint, but
the base of the defense will remainthe same. Right and with some with
the season where it's at uh andI you know, I think Washington dropped
into the last place, UH withwith the Giants most recent win. As
a player, right when you getto where you're at in the season and

(55:30):
you're you know, you've seen acouple of coaches let go, and and
you're looking at the remainder of theseason and knowing there's not a whole lot
more you can do to be youknow, competitive at the higher level.
What do you play? How doyou how do you keep that drive out
there? How do you? Areyou playing for pride? Are you playing
for what? What keeps you motivatedat this point in the season like this,

(55:52):
Well, it's it's pride is yourjob. Everybody's being evaluated. So
the things about the professional football professionalforces in general, you're always being evaluated
by by your cuarrant team, bythe ownership, by teams around the league.
You got some guys, a bunchof guys in their contract year,
so you want to continue to play, play, play hard, do to

(56:15):
things the right way, and reallywhen it adversity strikes, that's when you
really find out about your team andyou find out about your players. It's
easy to play hard and do theright things when things are going well,
but what do you look like whenthings are going well for you? Right?
That's a very good point, verygood point. So thoughts on the
game against the Dolphins coming up?Keys to the game, what do you

(56:37):
think we're gonna have to do toplay well against pretty good Dolphins team?
Man? Yes, yes, withyou're talking about the receivers. Then they
come in here with with the mostdynamic receiver in the NFL and type Kill
and also Jamelen Widow. They gotsome guys I kind of speed on that
that offense, You're gonna have tokeep things in front of us, not

(56:58):
a lot of explosives. Defensively,I know they lost their their best pass
rusher, so we can make someplays against them. And they got something
now m Corner too. Jayalen Ramseyis back playing good football for them,
So a little been would have beengood, nice challenge for us. And
you know it's the great thing getsin our building, so it's an opportunity
to get get away at home.Yeah, I think you're gonna have to

(57:20):
put on like jet packs to coverTyreek kiss. To be honest with you,
man, that guy, he's thefastest man I've ever seen in my
life. When I look at Tarekand you know, I'm I'm using the
Bill Belichick philosophy, I'm keeping thesafety over even if we have a single
high safety. My single high safetyis gonna be waiting on that side over
playing over the top of It wasalmost gonna be like we're playing cover two

(57:43):
to this side. Everybody else gonnahave to field for themselves and you know,
somebody else beat some food. Butit's not gonna be toureek ill right,
right, right, absolutely, allright, Wendon. I appreciate the
time as always, man, Alwaysa pleasure to uh to talk to you.
And trust me, next thing isgiving is gonna be one. I
promise you that, all all right, have a great day. We'll see
you. Man. That is LondonFletcher and you hear him call games and

(58:09):
call the game against the Dolphins, coming up at FedExField on the third,
which, by the way, we'regonna have tickets to give away for coming
up here in just a bit. We'll clear you on how you can win
those just around the corner. Pluswe'll talk some more Commanders football with Tennis
Glasgow when he steps in for Sportson Tap. That conversation with London brought
to you by Bet three six yfive. It's never ordinary. Washington's Classic
Rockets, Big One, Who doyou Love? They're a good eight thirty

(58:30):
one Big Rock Mornings. Jackson here, good morning. Hey, if you're
still eating Thanksgiving leftovers, time timeto throw them out. Little yeah,
little safety warning for you. Fivedays that's way too much. Yeah,
it's been a handful of days sinceThanksgiving and a lot of people still have

(58:52):
leftovers in the fridge. But USDepartment of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection says
they recommend to running out after aboutthree to four days. Anything beyond that
you risk getting sick. And theysaid it's not always going to smell bad,
so the smell test is not alwaysthe best way to determine some throw

(59:13):
it out. It's been but Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, month.
It's time to get rid of it. Make one last turkey sandwich.
This morning you might be rolling thedice. I don't know. It's up
to you, man, but itmight be time to give it the boot.
It is time for Although I wasgoing to say Florida man, but
I think this morning we're going todo Florida woman ride. Is that all

(59:34):
right? Florida man? Well manwoman? Police in Florida looking for a
thirty nine year old woman last Tuesday. She had a parole violation for selling
fittanyl. They found her hiding insideher couch. Uh. You know how

(59:59):
you lose everything in your couch cushionsmay be your wallet, your keys,
your phone, your remote. Thefugitive Police in Florida looking for a thirty
nine year old woman named Stacy Usher, wanted on parole violation for selling fentanyl.
They searched her home and couldn't findher anywhere. They were about to
give up, apparently and say shewasn't there, and then somebody decided to

(01:00:22):
check under the couch cushions. Turnsout she was there, hiding somehow under
the couch cushions inside the couch.Unclear if they were tipped off. And
she was there, or just standyour procedure to look in the couch cushions,
just noticed the big lump. Yeah, I guess you know. I

(01:00:43):
did see a picture and she waslike kind of half down inside the couch.
She might have found a way toget all the way down in there
without you know, being noticed. In addition to the drugs and the parole
violation, she has a history offraud and grand theft. I'm passing a
few bad checks your average Florida woman. You know, when I was younger,

(01:01:07):
I used to think, Hey,one day I'll get old and retire
in Florida. I don't think thatanymore now. I think it's probably better
places to go. And that's FloridaMan for a Monday right here on Big
one hundred, eight thirty four Tenniscoming up with sports and just a few
here, and also we're gonna playwhat did we learn on the show today

(01:01:29):
and give you a chance to wintickets for the Commanders versus Dolphins on the
third of December home game at FedExField. Your chance to win. Coming
up from Big one hundred, Washington'sClassic Rock. There's a Big one hundred,
There's Lola that's the Kinks and goodmorning, Hi Dennis? Are you
good morning? Guys? Happy postThanksgiving? Everybody's tummy's filled with a lot

(01:01:52):
of turkey and nonsense and shenanigans.Yeah, yeah, good. I should
stop eating those leftovers today. Yeah, don't eat it after a couple two,
three days, that's when I can'tget it. Yeah. Some people
will leave a nice pizza, peoplewill still be pineapple on it. Yeah
foul. Hey. I heard youtalk about Hall of Notes today, and

(01:02:15):
I don't know if you gave thisfun fact out, but they're the most
successful duo in pop history. Ibelieve that six number one hits. I
believe that du because you do.How many other us are there? Though?
But what else is going to happenin twenty twenty three? The commanders
are crapping the bed and now Hallof Notes are fighting. Yeah, I
mean, what is next? It'sbeyond fight. I know it's a brutle

(01:02:37):
Hall is suing oats. Yeah.Yeah. Well, I've noticed that a
lot of rock legends are selling theirmusic libraries and they say it's a better
business decision. Now they make moneynow they do instead of the royalties and
the taxing down the road, especiallywhen you're almost eighty and something to give
away to your family too. Youmake the money now, pss that money
onto your family, and then somebodyelse will make that money down the road,

(01:02:58):
the person you sold it to.It makes sense. I don't know
why Hall is being such a dickabout it and then Oates is you know
he's getting sued? Yeah? DoI have that right, Palls. I've
read a lot about Hall and nota nice guy. I don't know if
you interviewed him. I mean,I mean you did you interview that years
and years and years ago. Hewas not bad there. But I've heard

(01:03:19):
the same thing. Yeah, he'sI really enjoy at Darrell's house when he
plays with at that's a great showand he is a fabulous musician and he
invites great guest and it's awesome.But I've heard he's a jo I know,
and I hate that and that he'svery arrogant. Yes, yeah,
Oh well that's a bummer, isn'tit. It is a bummer. I
always hate that one. I'm abig fan somebody. It turned out to

(01:03:39):
be a big jackwagon. Do youknow they say don't meet your heroes.
I know that's what I you know, I have. I have intentionally avoided
a couple of like people that Iam fans of and said I don't want
to meet that. I don't havetime for a story here on the air,
but off the air, in mymany years of running the Redskins Network
back from away to ten, Ihad a chance. And for context,

(01:04:00):
I'm a big Seahawks fan because Igrew up a little bit in Northwest and
that's when I started watching football,So I was a big Jim Zorn fan.
Long story short, Gyms aren't coachhere for a couple of years,
as you may or may not know. And it was a horror show and
when things go sideways and he andI had a confrontation, I'll have to
tell you about that off the air. It was unbelievable. And don't meet

(01:04:21):
your heroes, man, you gotlisteners out there going yeah, thanks jerk
coffee. He basically screamed at meand the CEO of Red Zebra the radio
operation for about ten solid minutes ata meeting he wasn't invited to. Really,
yeah it was. And I justthought, don't you have anything better
to do than complain about my afternoonhost and the Coaches Show? When they

(01:04:43):
don't treat me correctly when you're losing, and then you weren't a fan of
him. No, that was that. It was awful. It was awful.
Yeah, Yeah, that was agreat game last night. WHOA,
well that boy, that's big boyfootball. That's big boy football. Eagles
are the cream of the crop.I don't see anybody touching them. This
show. Buffalo gave them everything theycould that. That was a great football.

(01:05:03):
It was fantastic the way overtime,I mean, right down to the
wires. Extraordinary football. Great. Why would you see the ratings the television
rings are the commanders in Dallas? That was third highest? Yeah, And
I'm the only thing I could thinkis it was Dallas and b it was
Thanksgiving right in the middle of everybody'sdinner. Yeah. Yeah, so it
was just on everywhere. Yeah,I mean I can't imagine a household where

(01:05:26):
it was not at least on inthe background. That was quite an s
show. That was ugly. Thatwas ugly. Yeah. I asked London
this morning. I was like,is Dak Prescott that good? Di d
Bex just kind of sucked that day, Yeah, because Dak is good at
picking apart bad team. Yes,I think I think Dallas is actually ramping
it up. I think they're theproblem. Yeah, I think they're the
second or third best team in theNFC. It'll be a great game,

(01:05:49):
uh, because Philly still has togo to Dallas, right yeah, yeah,
yeah, that'll be a good Theyboth have a couple of Gauntlet schedules
left over the NFC, so they'reno really easy games per se. But
the commanders, of course made thechanges afterwards. I think it's clear now
that Rivera's made a deal with ownership. I've made these changes for optics.

(01:06:11):
I'll stay the rest of the yearand then absolutely think, abolutely yeah,
Rivera will be in touch at thispoint. Yeah, there's only a few
games left. Yeah, and andthat'll be that. M So you think
that was just to make things easierto finish out this time. I think
I think it was optics to letfans know, hey, listen, we're
watching with you. That was adebacle. Defense, it's not been good

(01:06:31):
this year. We'll make some changesfor you, Okay, So just do
ap peace people. Yeah, andI'm not saying that flippantly. They had
to do something because if they kepton going with that, fans would have
been really with the pitchforks and torches. Yeah, how come you're not making
any moves? And they did. They got rid of a defensive coordinator it's
been here for four seasons, anda d back coach. So I saw
it. I am one of thesocial Instagram Facebook somewhere when the Commander's put

(01:06:54):
out through statement and I was like, oh boy, and I sat down
with a cup of coffee. Iwas like, oh boy, let's get
through the four hundred comments. Iwant to read them. Here we go.
There were about, you know,on that note, there were probably
you know, twenty five thirty percentof them were like thank you. Yeah,
it's good. It's good to seethat you hear us and you're doing
something absolutely and it's like, allright, well that's you know. Yeah,
as your ownership, I know thatyou have to be careful in your

(01:07:15):
steps, but you also have tolet them know I hear you, fans,
and everybody was saying the media wassaying it, We've been talking about
the fans have been saying it.Do something to just let us know that
you care right as new owners, and they did. That's a substantial move
when you get rid of a decordingand a d back coach. Now Ronald
take over the defensive play calling tothe end of the season and we go

(01:07:36):
along our merry way. But it'sit's been a it's been a rough,
rough, rough year. Forty fiveto ten loss, and how still comes
out with three three hundred yards?Yeah, and Chris Samuel had one of
his best teams ever with the game. I keep on talking and crash you
to how is not the problem? No, he never knows. Are the
receivers, No, they're not.No, youve got to You've got a

(01:07:58):
great core receiver. But what isso bizarre to me, besides schemes that
get into really inside football, it'shard to believe that this defense was ranked
third last year and now they arethis horrifyingly bad look that Chase is gone,
and well even they weren't playing wellwith those guys, I know,
but I mean then you got ridof both of them. I mean,
you can't expect that it was goingto look pretty No, but still,

(01:08:20):
I mean they were not getting thesacks and they were giving a big points
when those guys were here. Imean, it's just been a bad year
all around. So listen, thefuture looks bright though, I keep on
telling you that, you know, between how the weapons, the draft capital
they have, and the cap moneythey have to spend in the next couple
of years, the future looks bright. I promise you it really does.

(01:08:42):
Yeah. And you know, fora guy like myself doing the two city
shuffle here between Philadelphia and DC,I stuck out my Eagles. Yeah,
I forgot that in pocket. Thatis that kind of I root for two
teams. Yeah, you know, and it's almost better for me when they
are not competitive with each other.Sure like, sure, I don't care
if the Commanders win the division.Yeah, I don't care if the Eagles

(01:09:03):
win the division. Just I justdon't want them right up there. Tie.
Yeah, our boss has several teamsin all the leagues. So one's
not playing well, he just moveson to the next one. He's one
of those guys. But you're mostlywhat commander Seahawks. Yeah, yeah,
absolutely, I got. My firstfootball game was a Seahawks game, and
then I really got into football whenI lived in Falls Church, when Thiasman

(01:09:26):
was playing and all those guys andchampionship, I mean, they were unbelievable.
I mean even you know, Iwas not a Redskins fan back then,
but you had to admire that team. Holy crap they were They were
un real. By the way.I've got a chance to work with John
Riggins years later when I ran ESPNnine eighty from way to ten. And
when I first met him, Iwas a little intimidated, I'm sure,

(01:09:47):
and I actually met him at CamdenYard. Tell me he was nice.
He's shy, oh, John issuper shy, real smart as a whip.
Yeah, and but still looked likehe could play. And he was
built man for somebody like you whoworks out. This cat looked like he
was ready to play in today's NFL. He's so big and strong at so

(01:10:08):
the only thing, the only issuethat John usually had he really didn't want
to talk too much Redskins. He'drather talk about anything else. So it
was hard when you do a towhour sports show and you don't want to
talk football. Yeah, but hewas fine. He's a legendary. When
we went out in public, andthis this was a tough part that I
saw from because he was kind ofshy about that. People shout his name
wherever he goes, Rigo to wherehis jersey, it's got to be the

(01:10:30):
most popular Jersey here it has tobe Oh, I'm sure. I mean
he is legendary, but listen, this is the guy that remember left in
the middle of his career to golive in the woods. So he's a
different cat, but smart as awhip though really really bright and uh still
it was it was interesting. Yeah, yeah, it was interesting. More
stories off the air for you.Yeah, I'm interested in here. I

(01:10:51):
should write a book to ask morequestions. But I'm like, all right,
we probably will just talk all morning. If I do that, we
can go for hours and hours aboutgoing on in the sports. One.
The last thing about the Capitals, because they're playing tonight. I went to
Opening Night and I went to Fridaygame. I took my daughter, my
wife, and I have bought ticketsfor the weekend throughout the season. So

(01:11:14):
while I'm a firm believer that youcan complain about things even if you don't
buy a ticket, I buy ticketsto go to the Caps. I've seen
two of the most horrifying games bythe Capitals an Opening Night and then on
Friday Night that I've ever seen inmy life. Edmondon came in and whooped
us five nothing, and it lookedlike we are like an AHL team,
and yet they have ten wins thisseason, worst power playing in the NHL.

(01:11:36):
But it was brutal and I'm payingall this money, and I paid
a lot of money for our tickets. We sat down low, and we
were down low, and it wasjust bad. And now they go into
five game road trip and tj Oshigot hurt during the game too, and
it looks serious. I know he'shad a lot of concussion issues and they
only say it's in the NHL.They say upper body or lower body.

(01:11:59):
They don't get specific. Yeah, but I have a feeling that he might
have cracked his coconut again because hedid not look on he was down the
ice for a while. But Ijust I might be a bad luck charm
going to these games. Every game. Every sports fan at some point has
said that I think I'm bad.Look, I'm not going to games anymore.
I'm telling you what, man, this is a bad hockey dot com.
It was awful. It was awful, So please caps happens to the

(01:12:20):
best of them, all right,Maybe some free tickets to just kind of
get me back there and enjoy it. Where are your connections? Man?
Why are you paying for tickets? To when you work in this industry.
We love hockey, so we wantto support the teams when we can work
at hockey. See that my hockeybackground. I'm kind of that way with
believe or that with music, likeeven working in the industry. All if

(01:12:43):
I'm a fan of a band,yeah I'll go buy their records. I
want to support what we're doing.Yeah, I'm that way too. Yeah
yeah, all right, okay, guys, Well thanks Dennis, appreciate a
good one. And uh let's seewe got we got the echo coming up
