with the FBI agent came up triedto car jack him. I didn't read
the rest of the story. Ijust saw that headline was like, oh
my god, there's so many rightnow, like crazy, and it's it's
been going on for the past coupleof years, but it's getting more and
more and more. Yeah, andit's it seems to be getting worse everywhere.

yeah, yeah, I know therewere carjackers. Yeah it could be.
Yeah, I can judge them frommy car. Well, now you
can't even walk down the street wearinga goose jacket. It's there's been there's

been three, I think three tofour over the last two days now where
people are coming up and stealing expensivejackets off with people. Yeah. I
just heard it this morning. Itwas over the last couple of days.
What's what's the really like thousand dollarsfor a jacket's Canada goose jacket? Yeah,

super pricey, right, and there'sanother one that's really really pricey.
Anyway they've been targeting. It remindsme of you go way back to like
the nineties when kids were getting jackedfor their Jordans. You know, they'd
get hit up on the street andbeat up and they'd steal their shoes.

didn't say how old these kids were, but but I know, you know
they're stealing this stuff to resell it. Yeah, yes, jack a thousand
dollars goose jacket off somebody on thestreet. One of them was in DuPont
Circle. Yeah. I mean it'shappening like all over the city and like
it's it's moving into the to themuch nicer areas. I heard a girl

on the news this morning, oneof them that got away. They didn't
get her jacket. She said shewas walking down the street and she heard
as a bunch of teenage girls onthis one and she said, oh,
she heard them say, oh,look she's wearing a goose and she's like,
oh. At first she just thoughtit was somebody complimenting her. And
she's like, next thing, youknow, they were they had hands on
her, were trying to steal herjackets. She was able to get away,

she ran and they didn't get herjacket. It was a group of
teenage girls that just robbed the CVSand the Palisades a couple of days ago.
Because it was like remember the wewere talking about this last month.
Yeah, the shoplifting rings when theywill go in that's why target and a
lot of the other stores in youknow, in DC, have stuff like
lockdown toilet paper and deodoran that it'slockedwn because they can't stop them from shoplifting.

So that's what was happening. Soit was a big group that went
into that CVS. This was Ithink it was over the weekend. Yeah,
it's I set off one of thosealarms one time trying to grab deodorant.
I lifted the thing up and I'mlike, whoa, I just I'm
trying to buy some deodorant. Yeah, there's a Lulu Lemon. You know.

The thing is, it's like Iread an article yesterday where it's not
a shoplifting nationwide is actually down.It's not up. It's just we're seeing
a lot more in the news.But the trend is now is that people
have realized the stores that have thepolicy where it's like, yep, we
don't interfere, the just will callthe cops, but you can basically come
in and grab whatever you want andleave, and of course you're gonna get

away with it if you can walkinto a Nike store and grab, you
know, six pair of shoes andthey're like, eh, we don't interfere
and then leave. You know,it's praying night. Of course people are
gonna do it. They know they'regonna get away with it. Toilet paper
rings, you know, it wasreal. So Lulu Lemon, the one
by my house in Philadelphia, rightjust got jacked again again. They just

came in group, group of teenagerscame in and they know the policy there
is because if you remember years ago, those I think it was last year,
those two Lulu Lemon employees got firedfor trying to interfere, for trying
to stop shoplifters, and Lulum waslike, no, we have a policy
says do not interfere. They brokethe rules, like they lost their job
trying to save your stop. Now, that was when I learned that that

was the reason that they have theYeah, the toiletryes locked up that particular
case. Yeah, so they gothit again and I saw the aftermath of
I just have a bundred pictures ofstuff laying on the ground all throughout the
store and out into the street.But I just walk in, grabbed the
stuff and employees just step back andwatch. They have to what are you

gonna do? I don't know.I think that's a I get it.
I think it's a stupid rule.Yeah, I get it. And it's
you know, them locking stuff up. It's like you don't realize that the
you know, it's not what youwould suspect when it comes to the most
shoplifted items. It's stuff like babyformula, deodorant, razors. I mean
it's crazy, Like any any story, you walk into all the stuff you

see locked up, that's because it'sshoplifted left and right. Yeah, and
you go really, but baby formulawas a big one for a while.
Man, it was a big one, especially during that shortage. What was
that year ago? Two years ago? Is it post right after COVID when
they had the big baby formula shortage. There's something they had some one of

our big factories got something contaminated andthen there was this huge shortage. Yeah,
they still keep the baby formula likeright there in the glass cabinet at
the front of the store, nextto the Marboro Ars. Yeah, it's
nuts, dud. But yeah,when I heard the jacket story this morning,
it just took me back to whenkids were getting checked for their shoes
and I'm like, this is ridiculous. And then and the dogs, the

dogs, Yeah, dogs that's anotherone. Now on, well did you
hear how the carjacking? This wasa few weeks ago. This was this
is in northwest on fox Hall nearfox Hall and where was it? Somewhere
on fox Hall Way? It was. It was a nice car. It
was like it was like a BMWand there was a Lexis that came out

behind it. And I could begetting these in reverse order, it doesn't
matter. But two nice cars.And then the one bumped the other.
And so when the guy driving theBMW got out to exchange insurance, they
jacked him. So he's all ascam and so that's another way of doing
it. So it's getting bolder andbolder. This uh and and you know

we were talking about the dogs.It's these French bulldogs that are you know,
worth a ton of money. Therewas another one stolen Fairfax County.
This time somebody broke into the homeand tried to steal three dogs, but
they only got away with one,a French bulldog named Queen. And uh,
yeah, it looks like burglar enteredthe home, tried to take all

three dogs, but was only successfullyable to take Queen, the French bulldog,
and they got it all on surveillancevideo. Was that a kidnapping or
arrest? That's good. Here's thething, man, that's got to be
a ring. I mean, youknow, the whole French bulldog thing.
Come on, they're taking that.I want to know where they're going though.
Where are they selling them? It'snot like they're putting them up on
eBay. The French bulldog two hundreddollars. Those things were expensive. I

wife loves the French bulldog. She'salways wanted one, but but she's a
big adopt don't shop. She refusesto, uh, you know, buy
a dog because of all the puppyfarms. Well, I'll just say that

for a little while. A fewmonths ago, a guy pulled over to
the side of the road because hesaw a kitten on the side of the

and once he picks it up,they start coming out of the out of

three come out and he's like,oh my god, there's more. It
must be a letter. And thenthey just keep coming. There was like
twenty of them. They come outand he's surrounded by kittens and it's like,

I'm kind of excited about this becausemy first Gmail account, Yeah, was
crash young at Gmail, and atsome point I was using other email addresses.
This was early Yeah Google days,and so I forgot my password and

whatever the alternate email was that Iused to save it, so I can
never get back into it. Andso I still can't get into it,
never seen anybody else use it,So they purge that maybe that'd be back
on the market. Ye, it'spossible, possible. I had mine connected
to a couple things, and Iwas like, I just probably saved that
just in case to where I didn'tnecessarily need the email, you know,

to check email. I just neededit because it was connected to you know,
a subscription or something. But allthe old emails will be deleted.
Same goes for any photos in GoogleDocs. That's the biggie. Like,
if you've got an old account that'sgot a bunch of photos or Google docs
in it. They're going to gobye bye two. They announced it in
May and said for security reasons,if an account hasn't been used in years,

it's more than likely already compromised.They say. Most abandoned accounts they
use old passwords, hackers have alreadystolen them by now. And if you
don't use the account, they've they'veprobably already gone through it and found all
your stuff that's in there. Anyway, Hackers suck. So there you go,

work for several hours, get reallyreally cold, and then it will kick
on, but it kind of blowslike lukewarm air, so it'll heat it
up to like maybe sixty eight,but it'll just keep running and running and
running and running because it's trying toheat it up higher. And then eventually

I must freeze up or something andit'll shut off and then the unit will
say defrost or something. I don'tknow. Did they come in and look
at it? They did. Theycame in. He changed a bunch of
settings on the thermostat He used oneof those lasers up by the vent there
and said, yeah, it's blowingwarm air. But I looked at it
as he was doing it, andit said it was blowing at sixty eight.

I'm like, dude, sixty eightis not warm air. No,
that's that's what I set my ACon you. What are you talking about?
And he's like, let it,let it go for a while.
If that, you know, ifthat doesn't work, calls back, all
right, cool, let me seeif these changes. So it worked for
like ten minutes and the heat wascoming in. It was heating up.

I was like, all right,thank god he fixed it. And then
it stopped so started dropping drastically.The temperature has been cold man. And
so I rather than submit like anotherticket, I actually went down to the
office and was like, hey,they just came and looked at this and
it's already quit working again. Andthey were like, okay, well we'll
drop by a space heater or something, and you know, if they can't

get to it today, at leastyou'll have that. I'm like, yeah,
perfect, sounds good. They nevercame. They never came, got
cold last night, woke up thismorning. I was like, it's freezing,
so I don't know. Hopefully they'llcome by and do something to it
