Speaker 1 (00:00):
Go out to the KWA Common Spirit Health hotline.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Bring on our friends, Samantha Pravdi, Samantha, are you doing
this evening?
Speaker 3 (00:05):
I am doing great, Ben, how are you guys?
Speaker 1 (00:08):
We're we're doing well.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
I am up against Ryan Edwards in fantasy football this
week and.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
I went out and got I went out. I managed
to snag a quarterback.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Somebody had let Tua out there on the free agency
because Josh Allen is out for me, so I got thuauh.
But I made a mistake left Nick Chubb on my
bench last night, and I don't know I might be
playing from behind on this one.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
That's a really tough one to leave on the bench.
You know, you never know how those games are going
to go in the snow, so I figured it was
gonna be a big running game. But like like I said,
you know, you had just been a little bit of
radic and that offense has been absolutely horrendous. So no
one can fallut you for for that too too much.
But hopefully it doesn't hurt you, and hopefully Tua can
come up with a big game against the Patriots this week.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Here's hoping we do have some interesting stuff. I've got
Terry McLaurin at wide receiver. You know, Cliff Ringsbury offenses
have always started off hot, but the kind of haled
off in the second half of the season.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Are we expecting the.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Cliff Kingsbury bottom to fall out on this or is
he going to keep this thing going with Jadan Daniels.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
I think he's going to keep this thing going. I
really like this offense that has a lot of different facts,
it's different pieces. I mean, it's really tough, I think,
to defend against it because there are so many different
kind of options for Jayden Daniels and he just really
opens up that playbook. So I really hope that what
we're seeing is the indicative of what we'll see for
the rest of the season, especially for kind of all
(01:28):
my shares in the Washington offense. So really hoping for
a good game against Dallas. I think that, yeah, it's
shaping up to be one of the better fantasy offenses,
which I don't think we could have said at the
beginning of the season.
Speaker 4 (01:43):
Well, bow Nix has said the face off against the
Raiders in the first outing, the Broncos struggled a little offensively,
but whatever was able to get things back on track,
and when you look at the Raiders that got a
couple of guys banged up, would you say that this
could be another big game, not for bow, well for
Courtland Sudden sure.
Speaker 3 (02:02):
I mean, I actually do think it could be a
big game for Bro. He's actually one of my favorite
streamers of this week. I mean, if he's QB seven
through eleven weeks, and that's definitely someone that I think
I thought go off with a lot of waiver wires
and definitely a good pickup if you have Josh Allen
or you have Joe Burrow or something like that. But
in terms of Courtland's got him, I'm excited about him.
(02:25):
Wide receiver fourteen over eleven weeks, three consecutive games with
eleven plus teny points and half TVR, and the Raiders
haven't been the easiest match up for fantasy wide receivers
seventy with fantasy points to the position this year, so
I would temper executions, but that's that I really like
the number of targets and looked at Courtland's getting on
(02:46):
the field, so I think that you know, he has
a higher floor than a lot of guys in that
kind of wide receiver three range. So I think he's
an excellent sex option and could definitely do a lot
of damage in this game.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
There's some interesting over unders this week.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
One of the the big ones Cowboys commanders, and we
talked a little bit.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
About that a minute ago. You know, you talked about
Cliff But on.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
The Cowboys side, if you got if you've got some
of their receivers or skilled position players, I mean, are
we calling the are we calling that am Anthony Hopkins
because it's going to be the silence of the Lamb
for fantasy owners.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
Well, you know, thankfully that Lamb did have a good
game a last week of fourteen point six point a
few points and half PPR. So I mean, I think
that there's still hope because if there's these guys are
so talented and Jake Ferguson is out this week, so
I think that he's going to have more targets. It's
not a toll like I just sell on this team. Certainly,
(03:42):
the Dack injury hurts this Moop offense obviously, but you know,
I think Ceedee Lamb kind of falls from that elite
here where you know, I think he was drafted in
a lot of leagus is the wide receiver one, and
he's probably kind of falling into that wide receiver pen
sort of range. So he's definitely someone that you're content
needed to start to be quick, I can't imagine a
(04:02):
situation where I'm sitting ceedee lamb for someone but neither
a temper or expectations. Of course, he's probably in that
same range this week, is you know someone like a deacon,
a cat or Terry mcgure or something like that.
Speaker 4 (04:15):
Now, so far this season, we haven't really seen CJ.
Stroud look anything like he looked last season. And it
seems though once they getting aside the high red zone,
the ball is turned over into the hands of Joe Mixon.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
Is this a game this week c J.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
Stroud kind of gets back on track against a team
like the Titans.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
I mean, I definitely think it could be. It's been
a concerning season for Stroud. I think you see a
bit of a little bit of software slump. The depletion
percentage has been similar to that his rookie campaigns, and
if yards for attempts and touchdowns have gone down, w
sacks and interceptions have written, he's thrown for fewer than
uh I was actually going to talk about this number
(04:57):
in terms of the UH packing yards over under. He's
gone under that number and just over half of games
this year. Had a tough matchup, kind of cheat up
for Week twelve against the Titans. You know, the Titans
are allowing an NFL low one and seventy nine passing
yards per game to opposing quarterbacks. Have actually only allowed
a quarterback to go over two hundred and fifty passing
(05:18):
yards all year, which was Josh Allen in Week seven.
Strang has played the Titans once in his short career,
which was last New Year's Eve. He threw her two
hundred and thirteen yards and one touchdown in that game.
So it is the second lowest point total of the week.
I'm really tempering expectations on Strong and that that is
why I do like the under on his past's two
hundred and forty and a half.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
By the way, talking with Samantha Praviti, Samantha, we have
a question here from Dave Kepper in Denver who says,
which fantasy quarterbacks would you start over Bo Nix.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
Oh goodness that that's just a little nice twist to
my my my Carolina Panthers. But fantasy quarterbacks that we
start over. It's actually a short list this week. I mean,
we've got six teams done by, so it's I mean,
I would obviously go with someone like you know, it's
the list of short It's Jalen Hurts, It's Lamar Jackson,
(06:12):
It's Kyler Murray, Justin Herbert Stealen Daniels. I mean, maybe
Patrick Mahomes, which sounds really weird, but he's been a
pretty bad fantasy quarterback this year. They are playing the Panthers,
so you know, I think i'd probably take Mahomes there.
You could maybe argue like Baker Mayfield or Jared Goff,
(06:32):
but that's pretty much the range that bone nextident, so
I'm taking him definitely in that mid QB runs here
this week.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
Now, we've seen the Bears make some changes. Pasanly and
Thomas Brown took over, and the Bears offense looked like
it had a little more rhythm, but they're playing a
talented Vikings defense. Do you think that this could be
a week for fantasy owners to try to get a
little more out of some of the Bears receivers all
Dj Moore.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
Yeah, I mean I think we're all hoping for a
little bit more almost from this Chicago offense. Moore did
have a pretty good game well out to be ten
Fantasy points, and it's certainly not where we expected him.
I mean we saw like I've seen like a couple
of flashes here. I mean, he did score twenty five
Fantasy points against my Panthers, but I don't think that
(07:23):
says too too much about about him, so you know,
hopefully he can get back on track. I do think
it is a tougher matchup this week, so I'm going
to temper expectations. I do like Kayla Williams in the
same though, I think, you know, he's just got that
super high floors of rushing, so he's still someone that
I'm starting. But I would play DJ Moore and kind
of like the other receivers still we're kind of I mean,
(07:45):
more is the best of them were I would put
him in that wide receiver three sort of tier. So
not not super excited to start him this week, but
certainly with you don't have better options, Like a lot
of people are pretty lean at receiver this week, you know,
with Jamar Chase and Garrett Wilson and lots of those
guys out this week, so you know, I don't hate
(08:06):
him as a start, but it's still the Bears.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
Offense, Samantha.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
For people who have Josh Allen on a buy are
struggling for quarterbacks, is Brandon Allen a viable solution there?
For the San Francisco forty nine ers this week?
Speaker 3 (08:21):
I would definitely shy away from him. I think there
are better options for you out there. You know, I
did notice that, like Anthony Richardson, is still widely available
in a number of leagues. A lot of people dropped him.
Obviously it makes sense, and just when everyone is ready
to give up on him, he comes back at the
best game of his year. So I want to temper
(08:41):
expectations on him, essentially against the Lions, who have been
very solid events against fantasy quarterbacks, but certainly a guy
that I think, like, you know, you could definitely plug
in if he had been floating around. In terms of
guys that might be a little bit more available. Drake
May as someone who is widely available. Consensus ranked at
the QB fifty this week in Miami since the Patriots
(09:03):
made the switch to May in week sixtieth, a tenth
at the position, and blogged nineteen fantasy points last week
against the Rams. It is a little bit of a
toper match up this week, but certainly thinks that he
could be a sort of plug and play option in
a in a in a deeper league. And yeah, they're
just a number of other guys. I would probably play
(09:23):
Tim Tommy de Veto over Brandon now and or Wow,
I don't know. Yeah, So it's just for fantasy purposes.
And I think it's a better match up against the Buccaneers,
So that's probably the direction that I would go.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
Grant Is. Grant is frantically searching.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
He says, Will Levis or Brandon all and he's that
hard up right now.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
Probably will lead over Brandon Allen.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
At this point, she said the gun, Grant the gun
over days.
Speaker 4 (09:51):
Well, you know what's interesting, you talked about Drake May
and the Patriots because Vermandree Stevenson right like, at the
beginning of the season, it didn't really look right for him,
but over the past couple of weeks he's been turning
it up from a fantasy standpoint. Do you like the
matchup this week with the Miami Dolphins.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
I do like the match of this seed. I Yeah,
I think it's one of those things that we have
this stigma against Bill Belichick wielded running backs, and look
at what's happening now. So I really do like what's
going on for Ramondre Stephenson and the The Dolphins are
actually ranked ninth against They are actually allowing the ninth
(10:29):
most fantasy points to running backs this year. So I
think that that's going to be a really good matchup
for him. I could definitely see him finding the one
the Beast once this week.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
Talking with Smyth Vay Smyth, you know, we always love
hearing the.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
Great prop bets that you've you've got scheduled for this week.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
What are some what are some prop bets you like
this weekend?
Speaker 3 (10:48):
Sure, so I'll just go back to that first one
that I talked about, just so I reiterated, it's CJ
Stroud under two hundred and forty and a half past
in the yards minus one ten. I just made a
note that, you know, the Titans a really tough matchup
and it's the second lowest point total of the week,
So he's he's definitely been underwhelming in terms of the
passing though. I really like that under. I like Tyrone Tracy,
(11:12):
which is under seventy eight and a half rushing plus
receiving yards. It's minus one fifteen on bet three sixty five.
His role is expanding in his offense as each week passes,
and since week five went in Singletary with her Tracy
is the fantasy r D ten. He outsets Singletary sixty
to seventeen in Week ten and has fresh legs coming
(11:33):
off of the routeen five week. The Duccan years are
definitely exploitable against running backs, having allowed the fifth most
fantasy points and most receiving yards to the position this year.
But I also like the over on his rushing attempts,
which is fourteen and a half, and he would have
eclipsed this total in each of the last three weeks
and five of the last six, so really really looking
(11:55):
at him as a guy that's on the rise. Another
young name I like the speak is lad Mconkey, OsO
five and a half reception, the second rounder from Georgia
has with these five catches and sixty percent of games
this year. Coming up of a six catch, one hundred
and twenty three yard game against the Bengals, see Ravens
are an absolute dream matchup, giving up the most fantasy
(12:16):
point second most receptions to wide receivers this year have
allowed a receiver to have these five receptions in every
game since Week five. He is dealing it as a
shoulder injury, but was back at practice today and should
be good to go for Monday in that same game.
I also like Clinton Johnson's anytime touchdown that's plus one
ninety five on draftings. It was probably surprised you to
(12:39):
know that Johnson has the sixth most receiving touchdowns this
year with only eight games played. He's doing it up
against that Ravens defense, which has allowed an NFL high
sixteen touchdowns to wide receivers this year. Johnson has a
touchdown in each of his last three games since returns
of injury, and the applied odds on this film is
about thirty four percent. As far as any time that
(13:01):
go this, we need to be my absolute save in
terms of value. And then the last woman I'm going
to mention is Kaide at the Giants under fifty and
a half receiving yards that's minus one twenty five at
draftings and has actually been super solid this season and
will likely end the season top ten at this position,
(13:22):
maybe even higher, just because the position has been that crazy,
but he did mix the mark in Week ten against
the forty nine ers and as a toper roadmassive against
the Giants. To speak, for all the issues the Giants
have had, they've actually been impressively impressively good against tight
ends and have allowed the fewest fantasy points to position
at US yards position and have only allowed this many
(13:44):
receiving yards to a tight end once, which was back
back in the week two. So give me the under
on paid on receiving yards, Samantha.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
We appreciate it. As always at Samantha NFL.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
Samantha Bravadi loves the fantasy football and props advice and
look forward to cashing this weekend.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
Thank you so much and good doctor.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
Absolutely take care of Samantha Pravedi
