Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to it Broncos Country tonight.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
But with all Brian Dick Ferguson, Grant Smith, Nick Ferguson,
gonna stick around for.
Speaker 1 (00:05):
A little bit. Always appreciate that.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
What's going on a guy, what's going on with you?
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Man? Yeah, you know, i'spend one of those days. Had
a tire blowout today. A blowout is a blow It
completely blowed out, like blew out the sidewald in retire.
Speaker 1 (00:17):
Really yeah, exploded.
Speaker 4 (00:18):
Well, I'm glad to see that you were here. And
I take it that you were not going or exceeding
the speed.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
I mean, we're not doing this, No, not at all.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
I was in the four to seventy doing well out
of speed, about to get off at the University ex
and the tire.
Speaker 4 (00:32):
Just said, you know what, Yeah, it's time for me
to leave, getting all over the four seventy.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
There I was. I was impressed. Those years of Grand
Turismo paid off.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
You're just saying all those years of Grandarismo paid off
with the skiddy.
Speaker 4 (00:44):
You know, as dangerous as blowing a tire out could be.
The first reference is Grand Tarismo a video game?
Speaker 2 (00:53):
All those year Yeah, all those years, of all those
miles I put in on Grandarismo paid off, just like
your end of game clock management from Masses. I'm just saying,
not men in games. We represent life. They do many
ways they do, they do well. We're ever overrun by
large insectoid type creatures. All the hours I've put into
hell divers too. Is there's really gonna pay all?
Speaker 3 (01:13):
That's not gonna help. That's not gonna help.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
Oh five six six zero's the tax line.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Now, we got a short show tonight because we get
to bust Prime Time coming up eight o'clock. Roby Bean
filling in for Mark Johnson today. Mark had to do
the call the Eyes. I told romy to do the
right between the eyes, and she would she like, she scared,
she got scared.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
She wouldn't do it. She was just this back line.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
But you gotta slip that in if you're filling in
somewhere like when when probably you sitting there talking to
Prime You're talking about the game, you know in Oregon State,
we're gonna you.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
Do you know we're gonna put it, and then you
just finished the sentence right between the eyes. Right.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
No, you can't do that unless you receive.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
Permission from this copyrighted that might be actually, I don't know.
You don't know that it's trademarked.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
It might I don't know, So you don't.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
You don't take that chance.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
You don't take take that risk because that that's someone
else's day.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
So well, I would, but I would call it an homage.
It would be an homage to Mark Johnson. I'm not
doing it for anything other than too.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
Who's the is it Mike Green or the NBA announcers?
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Bang?
Speaker 3 (02:19):
Like you can't you can't do that.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
I'm gonna say, bang, so m F loud right now,
Like that's the meme, you know, with the with the
one facial expression.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
That he's got that.
Speaker 3 (02:28):
Oh yeah, why not?
Speaker 2 (02:30):
By the way, and I reference this every time, the
the damon m de Laura piece that he did on
the very the different announcers across the country, and the
most soft spoken was the King's Guy and then Mark
Johnson was like the most aggressive like announcer or whatever.
The piece in it of itself is hilarious, Like you
have to you have to go watch it and reha,
(02:50):
you can't.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
You can't do that.
Speaker 4 (02:51):
I know you trying to pay homage to someone, but
you can't do it, Like.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
It's an iconic voice, not an iconic line.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
Michael Buffery, you can't do that. You can't do that.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Well, I you know what I would do is if
I was the dating app Bumble, I would hire him
to do my TV commercials.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
Let's get ready to bumble? No, okay, no grant laugh.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
I'm pretty sure he wasn't even allowed to say that
for a while because it was trademark from wherever he
was previously, and then when he went to the UFC,
he wasn't allowed to say those exact words anymore.
Speaker 3 (03:28):
You have a good fight.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Plus his brother does the is the other one that
does the other? Announcing to Bruce.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Buffer, was that his brother at the Tyson?
Speaker 1 (03:40):
I think so that sounds fairly similar. It looks fairly similar,
but it's not.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
It's like Diet Michael Buffer's Bruce Buffer's brother, kind.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
Of like it was Diet Mike Tyson. See why Yeah?
Like are you getting Frank stallone?
Speaker 4 (03:55):
You know how now like you can get people to
uh say happy birthday to you of seeing cameo cameo.
Would be great to just have Michael Buffer come to
your Thanksgiving dinner and just say, let's get ready to
eat right.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Due He gets he gets to dropped down microphone over
the Yeah you got a little butterized dropped out microphone
that I need a letter any of you anti turkites?
Speaker 3 (04:23):
Am I am?
Speaker 1 (04:23):
I dealing with any anti turkites in here? Obviously Ryan's
vegan swee doesn't count. But yeah, what do they have
a to turkey? I guess I don't know.
Speaker 4 (04:30):
Well, he did talk about it off air that said
that it is some kind of meat, but he started
talking about chemically put together and I was like.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
You lost it. Yeah, what's the point at that point?
Speaker 3 (04:43):
Well, he said that it looks like me.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
It's imitation, and it tastes like meat, and when you.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
Carve it as you get that that feeling of you know, hey.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
That's what That's what people say all the time. Eat turkey.
Speaker 5 (04:56):
Vegans and vegetarians say like, oh, it tastes so close
to the real thing.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
Not three right. Well, see, I struggle though, because ethically
I'm against the killing.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
I mean, I mean, I'm you know, ethically I want
to to not eat meat, but then I'm also four
killing animals.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
So well that's not a good thing.
Speaker 4 (05:11):
H that's not a good thing.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
That the other day we're at the thing.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
But yeah, we were at the we were out at
the King Soupers or whatever you do with the turkey
drive or whatever it was when Nick with the cake
snatching incident the day before, and so I see, I
was like, I see, I'm torn here because I'm absolutely
against sending things back, you know, as far as that goes.
But I'm four snatching cake from children. Oh yeah, of course.
Well you know it fits. You're a dark person, right,
it does. I have sixteen nine zeros text line. I
(05:41):
hope you guys have a happy Thanksgiving out there, But
none you guys are anti Turkites.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
You're not.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
You're not Ryan Upwards where you're vegan, or you're not
Shelby Harris where you just have no no culinary palette.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
Well, I mean, surely will not eat a turkey.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
Okay, Well I can understand that because turkey has always
been a staple of Thanksgivings. You don't you don't have
to eat turkey. But if your bird is dry, you're
not preparing it. That's exactly it. That's what I'm saying.
If you're if your bird is dry, that's on you problem.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
You're not preparing the right one.
Speaker 5 (06:09):
I would say, it's definitely not even close to my
favorite meat, but I definitely always eat turkey on Thanksgiving.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
Do you like you like ham?
Speaker 1 (06:17):
Well, Ham by far superior.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
So is it ham for the taste or is it
HANMD Because you're lazy you don't want put the prep in.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
Because I asked Parker Gabril about this, well, Parker's gonna
be the show.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
Little later I asked Parker Gabriel about this and he
at first he was like.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
Uh, oh, you know Ham, it's just to try an option.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
I was like, no, you're lazy. You don't want to
dress up a bird. That's that you won't put the
work in.
Speaker 5 (06:36):
Well, this was my first year ever dressing up the
bird and cooking it and completely and doing all of it.
And I will say it takes a hell of a
long time to make a good turkey.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
There's an intensive process.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
But once you get it down and you know what
you're doing, what you're dealing with, then it's it's super easy.
Speaker 5 (06:51):
And then cutting it up afterwards, I was at at
all these websites like this is the right way to
do it. Me and my buddy just ripped that thing
apart and cut it. The shress shredd it got a
chainsaw in there.
Speaker 4 (07:01):
What I found that is the best thing to do
is that you cut out the backbone of the turkey
and you kind of like live flattened pan. But also
to to make sure that the breast meat of the
turkey isn't dry. You obviously you pat the turkey dry,
but then you use your fingers to go underneath the
(07:23):
skin and loosen it up from the meat. And then
you take parsley sage and time and butter, and.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
You just kind of underneath the skin, underneath the skin. Yep,
that's what we did, yes, yes.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
And then you do it again on top of the skin.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
Oh see, I bright it. Oh see I messed that part.
You brin it, and then you coat it in rosemary butter.
Just coat the whole thing.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
Just rub it down, slip it, slap it, rub it down. Yeah,
And then I don't do stuffing in my turkey dries
a burn up.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
Why do stuffing?
Speaker 2 (07:59):
You make it step it's not actually stuffing, it's spreading
or whatever you're pressing, sure, whatever.
Speaker 5 (08:03):
But I still call it stuffing even if it's not
stuffed in the turkey. And that may be my favorite
side it's became not a stuffing guy.
Speaker 4 (08:10):
Wait you guys put the stuffing in the turky No,
Because I know some people were like when I played,
why it's.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
Called stuffing by the way you stuff it in?
Speaker 4 (08:19):
Well, when I when I played in Canada, you know,
I would go over to individual's home and they put
the stuffing inside, and I was like, uh, raising my
hand like wait a minute.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
I would like to pass on the sale.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
You're sticking it into the row and in.
Speaker 4 (08:34):
You gotta stick that in the oven inside, right, So
it was like, oh, yeah, I forgot you from you're
from America.
Speaker 5 (08:40):
Yeah, but that's like Ben said, that's where it got
his name. We did stuff our turkey with like apples
and onions and other other stuff.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
I use onions, lemons and oranges. By the way, try
that it's an oranges.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
Yeah, a little lemon zest on it too.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
Kick Yeah, just you should try, just saying, especially if
you're heavy on the road Mary with the turkey.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
So just put it out there. If you don't like it,
set it right back. It's whatever. Five six six nine
zero's to text? What excuse me?
Speaker 2 (09:07):
Because I called the evening away looks like Noko Dan
says he got to see Bruce Buffer at UFC one
Eddy seven in Las Vegas. Said it was cool, the
fights were awesome.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
So there you go. Somebody has seen Bruce Buffer life.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
The night said it else is Mark Johnson will always
have the best intense announcer moments. But I also missed
the legendary Jeff Kingaree on Rockies broadcast where it's going,
going gone, it ain't coming back, said goodbye.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
I like Jack Corgan's touch them all time.
Speaker 5 (09:31):
I was gonna say touch them all the time. It's
so different than what you hear from other people. But
also he's made it his own.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
Yeah, it's so good.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
I'd love Jack's calls on those injuries, calls on this game.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
We'll have to get into some of that stuff. We
got a short show tonight.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
We already mentioned bus front time coming up eight o'clock there,
Roby Bean filling in for Mark Johnson.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
You guys want to pick some games real quick? Wow,
that was fast. That's an immediate pretty tealgy a right.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Thursday Night Turkey Edition Bears at the Lions. This one
started off plus four and a half to outs plus
nine and a half, seventy five percent of bets seventy
five percent of money on the Lions. Here over under
started fifty down to forty seven and a half, seventy
six percent of bets, eighty five percent of money on
the over all the money line ninety three percent of bets,
seventy nine percent of money on the Detroit Lions. There's
(10:20):
a better with Thomas Brown running the offense there for
Kayleb Williams.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
But I'm all of the Lions of this one.
Speaker 4 (10:24):
You know what, I would love to see the Bears
kind of pull this off. I mean, they've been short
changed over the past couple of weeks when it came
down to the final play in the field, goals and
games going into overtime. But you're right, they definitely look
great as an offense. But it just seemed as though
there's something about special about the Lions and Dan Campbell
and what they're looking to do. So Jared Goff, a
(10:46):
guy who was cast aside, who was considered a bus now.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
He's one of the top quarterbacks in elite.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Yeah, And you know the thing about the Lions, as
they're relentless, they don't play down to the level of
their competential.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
They're kind of bear Way.
Speaker 5 (11:00):
Yeah, and they're gonna bury the How many points can
we score today?
Speaker 1 (11:04):
You got the Giants at the Cowboys.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
Let to start off plus eight and a half down
to plus three and a half for the Giants. Seventy
nine percent of bets, sixty eight percent of tickets on
Dallas forty five and a half was the over runner
down of thirty seven and a half. Not expecting fireworks
than this one, eighty nine percent of bets, eighty four
percent of money on the over on the money line,
ninety one percent of bets in ninety two percent of
money on the Dallas Cowboys in this one. But make
min Drew lock of the Giants the Beizza Cowboys in
(11:28):
this one.
Speaker 4 (11:30):
You know, whether it be great for football in general,
because when you look at this lay of games, you
got that Giants Dallas game kind of right in the middle.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
If the Giants could actually you know, pull this.
Speaker 4 (11:42):
Off, and they can actually do it with Drew Lot,
you know, look for me, I'm hoping that there's a
pass with the touchdown from Drew Lot to maybe Greg Doses.
Am I hoping? You're wishing for too much? Is that
wrong for me to do that?
Speaker 1 (11:56):
I'm here for it. I'm I'm here for the Drew
Lock comeback story.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
I'm here for for him to come back and put
it on Dallas three hundred yards passing five touchdowns to
Molak neighbors and make it undeniable.
Speaker 1 (12:08):
It's gonna be one of the all time great comeback stories. Man.
You saw him last year in Seattle when he won
that game.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
Now he got kind of emotional, and now he's getting
to play on Thanksgiving Day. But this will be when
my Thanksgiving Turkey nap takes place during this game, in
between the two.
Speaker 5 (12:24):
Good games on Thanksgiving Day. But I think I think
the Giants win this game. I think they cover and win.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
Wow, like you've got the Dolphins at the Packers too,
had never won below forty degrees. It's gonna start off
plus three et plus three and a half, fifty five
percent of bets, fifty six percent of money on the Packers,
and this went over under started forty eight and a
half down to forty seven and a half, seventy seven
percent of bets, seventy seven percent of money on the
over on the money line, eighty two percent of bets,
eighty nine percent of money on the Green Bay Packers.
(12:51):
I like the Packers to win at home on Thursday night.
Speaker 4 (12:55):
Yeah, I'm off with the Packers to be able to
do this because I mean cold with the teams typically
perform well in cold weather.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
And think about what the Packers.
Speaker 4 (13:03):
Were able to do last week against the San Francisco
forty nine is a team that was definitely beat up.
But the Packers are now trying to position themselves to
someone make it run and let those Detroit Lions know
that they're right there nipping on their heels.
Speaker 3 (13:17):
So yeah, the Packers take this one.
Speaker 5 (13:19):
Man. What a division the NFC North is, so many
great teams in it, and then the Bears look competent.
But I like Ta to tear up the narratives this week.
You mentioned he's never won in a game under forty
looks like it's going to be around twenty twenty five
degrees with snow at kickoff.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
This is the Tua redemption story.
Speaker 5 (13:37):
I think they go in there and steal a win
and make us a little nervous here in Broncos country.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
Well, he might need a hawk to it to keep
them hands warm. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
Friday, we got Black Friday football?
Speaker 1 (13:47):
What about it? We got the Raiders and the Chiefs.
Probably not the most exciting of games.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
Raiders started off plus seven and a half the lines
out the plus twelve and a half, fifty seven percent
of bits, fifty five percent of money the Raiders plus
twelve and a half over under start ofty and a half,
eighty six percent of bets, ninety five percent of money
in the over on the money line, ninety seven percent
of bets, eighty two percent of money on Kansas City.
I like Kansas City to win at home on Friday,
like the Raiders to cover that twelve and a half.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
Yeah, I think the.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
Raiders cover because the Raiders play the Chiefs well. Last
time had Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense stump, but
once again the defense the Spagnola showed up to save
the day. And it could be that same type of
game because you know, am Ocado is coming back.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
From that broken finger or fracture.
Speaker 4 (14:32):
Finger that is, and the Raiders need a little momentum.
They need something well to go right for them, and
beating the Chiefs will be one of those things.
Speaker 3 (14:42):
But I don't believe they do it this week.
Speaker 5 (14:44):
Yeah, and they got a little extra motivation from their
head coach this week, as he said, let's call it
what it is, the best team in the NFL, verus
the worst team in the NFL.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
But the Raiders do always play them tough.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
I think it'll be closer than the line expects, but
the Chiefs ultimately win.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
Hat the bold strategy to come out and call.
Speaker 2 (14:59):
Your own team the worst team in the NFL right
before you wanted to play for you. On a Friday,
Seahawks at the Jets West East early Seahawks started off
plus four and a half nowither minus one and a half,
seventy percent of bets, sixty eight percent of money on
Seattle over under started forty six and a half, down
of forty two and a half, seventy nine percent of
bet sixty five percent of money on the over, on
the money line, eighty seven percent of bets, ninety percent
of money on the Seahawks.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
Kind of like the Jets at home in this one.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
Ooh, the Jets, I don't know about that one.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
Better the ashes of dysfunction. Man, no, I can't even
make out.
Speaker 4 (15:33):
No, no, this is this is not one of those
Mad Max from the Thunderdome type of situations. No me,
the Jets are in total disarray right now, and I
don't see them being able to get out of their
own way.
Speaker 3 (15:45):
So yeah, they take it al this week.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
Man, I agree. Give me the Seahawks Steelers at the Bengals.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
This one started off Steeers plus five down to plus three,
seventy five percent of bet seventy percent of money on
Pittsburgh plus three over under, started forty four up to
forty seven a half, seventy four percent of bets, sixty
two percent.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
Of money on gover on the money line, fifty.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
Four percent of bets, but eighty eight percent of money
he is on the Steelers in this one.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
Sorry, Grant, I let the Steelers go on the road.
Speaker 3 (16:11):
Oh yeah, Grant, I hated for you.
Speaker 4 (16:13):
The Steelers lost the tight game in the snow against Cleveland,
and the Pittsbury wants to continue to extend their lead
both over Cincinnati and Baltimore.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
So close game.
Speaker 4 (16:26):
Jamar Chase probably had two touchdowns, but the Steelers end
up winning this one.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
I wish that you guys were right, but you're wrong.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
Oh my goodness, Colt sat the Patriots the battle of
who could care less? Colts minus three at a start,
now down to minus two and a half, seventy two
percent of bets, seventy four percent of money on Indy
over understarted forty four, now forty two and a half, eighty.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
One percent of bet, seventy nine percent of money on
the over on.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
The money line, eighty three percent of bets, eighty five
percent of money on the Colts.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
Kind of like the Coltsmiths one, you.
Speaker 4 (16:59):
Know what, because the Broncos are honestly they're not chasing
the Colts, but the Colts is still kind of in
that mix. I'm gonna go with Drake May and the
New England Patriots.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
They kind of helped the Broncos get that.
Speaker 4 (17:12):
Much need needed win and victory in that momentum as
the Broncos positioned themselves in the playoff push.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
I like the way you're thinking.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
I think it would be great for the Broncos, but
I just don't see it happen.
Speaker 1 (17:24):
Give me the Colts on.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
The Road Early Slave Game Cardinals that Vikings cards start
off plus two, get plus three and a half now
sixty five percent of bets, eighty one percent of money
on the Vikings over understarted forty five, stated forty five,
seventy percent of sixty eight percent of money on the
over eighty nine percent of bets, eighty six percent of
money on the money line on the Vikings.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
Kind of the Cardinals and give them a game on
the road, though.
Speaker 4 (17:45):
Nah, not me. I'm not going in that direction, especially
after you know, watching those guys kind of you know,
underperform at some points during the season. I mean, Seattle
really did a job on him, even though the score
was sixty to six. So you know what, Yeah, I
think the Carlton has lose this one because Brian Flora
(18:05):
has got a trick to Kyla.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
Murray brom here for I agree, we got hit a break,
we come back bct Grant. Now I'll finish out picking
these games. Nick, appreciate you as always brought those country
And that rolls on up.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
To this couple of texts here. Some people talk about
stuffing not being made right. Uh, everybody's got their own
recipes for that. I just like, for me, I would
not stuff. I do not make stuff stuffing. You're not
putting the stuffing inside the bird, you know.
Speaker 1 (18:30):
For me, it's just playing out stove top. There you go.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
Stoves five six six zero is the uh is the text.
Let's get back. Pick at some of these pick at
some of these games.
Speaker 3 (18:41):
Here.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
When we left off, we were at the Tennessee the
suddenly resurging Tennessee Titans who had a fire sale, and
we're trying to tank, and all of a sudden they're
winning games.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
They can't decide what they want to do.
Speaker 4 (18:52):
I guess the.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
Washington Commanders, who were surging and now kempt, seem to
figure themselves out on offense. This game started off, might
just want and a half out to Commanders minus five
and I half, sixty five percent of beds, fifty four
percent of money on the Commanders on the over under
started forty six and a half out of forty four
and a half, seventy six percent of bets, thixt two
percent of money on the over, on the money line,
ninety three percent of bets, ninety one percent of money
on Washington.
Speaker 1 (19:13):
I like Washington at home. Yeah, our commander.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
In chief, our commander in chief Den Quinn, and our
good buddy Coach Pegana. I think they write the ship
this week. I think they get a win. They got
their bye week next week.
Speaker 5 (19:24):
Hopefully we get Coach back on the show during next week.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
But I like the Commanders in this one. Wouldna make
that happen with coach coming on mid season? Yeah, he
is there bye week.
Speaker 5 (19:34):
I'm just saying I got to reach out to commander's
pr and I will say Will Levis and a buying
last week with Joe Burrow on a bye week on
my fantasy team came in and gave me some good points.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
So mayna's up for you. The mayonnaise man did it
well for me.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
I hes to to beat Ryan and like he does,
his brain is going to explode.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
He was not happy this week. It was a beatdown too.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
It was so weird.
Speaker 2 (19:55):
Every player that I randomly picked up just panned out.
That week was one of those weird weeks. Oh, he's
got to be so mad. Luckover overskilled in that one,
Texan's taking on the Jags, and this one might be
luckover lack of skill for either team at this point.
The Texans, who've had a massive regression of the Jaguars
just playing to suck. The Texans started off plus one,
they're out to minus four, eighty two percent of bets,
(20:17):
eighty five percent of money on the Texans minus four
over under started forty seven, drop to forty three and
a half, eighty three percent of bets, seventy five percent
of money on the over on the money line, ninety
five percent of bets, ninety nine percent of money on Houston.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
Like Houston on the road.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
Yeah, when is dud Peterson is going to be fire there?
They gonna let him coach out the rest of the year,
coach out the streaming. What's the point you gottay him anyway? Yeah,
Texans win this game. They need this game for their
playoff hunt.
Speaker 1 (20:41):
I think they win.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
Chargers at the Falcons and other West Coast to East
Coast this week, Chargers start off plus two.
Speaker 1 (20:48):
And a half.
Speaker 2 (20:48):
They're now minus won sixty nine percent of bets, but
eighty two percent of money on the Chargers on the
road forty seven and a half over under hasn't moved,
seventy percent of bets, eighty eight percent of money on
the over on the money line, eighty nine percent of bets,
but only seventy seven percent of money on the Chargers.
I do like the Chargers going west to East Coast
this week against the Falcons.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
I do not.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
I like the Chargers to fall again coming off that
tough loss against the Ravens, Falcons need this win. The
Bucks are still right there. They got a healthy Mike
Evans back. I think the Falcons, who've been up and
down this whole season, we saw them yet blown out
here by our very own Broncos. But it's just gonna
help our Broncos when they beat the Chargers this week.
Speaker 1 (21:26):
You're trying to prod some mattheo to out the Bengals.
I see what's happening again.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
You hope we get the Chargers plummet and it helps
the helps out the Bengals.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
I'm out of your game there, Gretsmith.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
I don't think the Chargers charger as much as they
used to with Harball there.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
I don't I like them to win that game.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
Bucks, speaking of taking on the Carolina Panthers, this one
start off Bucks and minus two at the Bucks minus
five and a half ninety two percent of bets, eighty
one percent of.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
Money on Tampa.
Speaker 2 (21:48):
You over under forty three out to forty six and
a half, seventy six percent of bets, ninety four percent
of money on the over all the money line, everybody
all over the Buccaneers of minus two forty five, ninety
four percent of bets ninety four percent of money on Tampa.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
I'm all the Tampa on this one.
Speaker 3 (22:01):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
I think Bryce Young may have figured something out last week.
But hey, Baker Mayfield that energy, that moxie doing the
Tommy DeVito in New York. I think they still win
this game. But I think it's going to be tight,
a tight divisional game. I think it's going to be
a twenty four to twenty one, twenty four to twenty game.
Speaker 1 (22:19):
But give me the bucks. No, it's not just Baker.
He's also going to be the butcher. The way he
calls him up in the candlestick necking away, he lights
him on a fire. Give me the Tampaay bucks.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
In this one, the Rams travel to these Saints.
Speaker 1 (22:30):
Rams started off minus one and a half.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
Now it's about it's two and a half, seventy two
percent of bet, seventy seven percent of money on LA
in that one over under forty six and a half
out to forty eight and a half, seventy two percent
of bet, sixty six percent of money on the over
on the money line, eighty three percent of bets, ninety
eight percent of money on the La Rams. It's another
road team I like the Rams to beat the Saints. Yeah,
Rams started out so poorly this season, one in four
(22:53):
and now up to five and six, and it seems
like they figured some things out, at least on the
offensive end, if they can just get Williams to quit
fumbling the ball. But I like the Rams on the
road in this one as well. But who knows what
the Saints. You never know what you're gonna get a
team show week. Yeah, they could be resen a.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
Updown in they are.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
They could be, they could be what could be the
game of the week here, Eagles at the Baltimore Ravens.
Eagles started off plus three and a half out of
plus three, seventy one percent of bets, seventy three percent
of money on Philly, and this went over understarted forty
six and a half, moved to fifty one and a half,
sixty five percent of bets, ninety three percent of money
on the over. On the money line, fifty six percent
of bets are on the Baltimore Ravens, but ninety two
(23:31):
percent of money is on the Philadelphia Eagles. There are
ten eight hundred twenty nine wagers placed so far.
Speaker 1 (23:36):
Fifty six percent of.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
The bets are on the Ravens ninety two percent of
the money.
Speaker 1 (23:41):
That's huge despair. That is a forty eight percent disparity.
That is insane. That is a lot of sharp.
Speaker 2 (23:47):
Action, a lot of heavy hitters coming in on Philadelphia
at plus one forty three in that game.
Speaker 1 (23:51):
I do like Philly in that game. Wow, really, I
do not.
Speaker 5 (23:56):
I do think this is my Super Bowl preview Eagles Ravens.
I think this is the year they both get there
and maybe the Eagles.
Speaker 1 (24:04):
To finally pull it out if they can get past
the Lions.
Speaker 5 (24:06):
But I like the Ravens in this game, back at home,
coming off a big win.
Speaker 1 (24:10):
They got to keep stacking wins to stay.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
In the race with Pittsburgh in their division. I like
the Ravens at home that they do. They'll be up
against a tough defenses. Slick Vic Fangio's got the Eagles humming.
There no Brandon Graham though, No Brandon Graham out of
the season. Torn Trice forty nine ers at the Bills.
This is Sunday Night football. Niners started off two point favorites.
Now there's seven point dogs, seventy percent of bets, eighty
(24:33):
four percent.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
Of money on Buffalo in this one.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
At Home under Rudder started forty seven out of forty
four and a half, seventy nine percent of bets, ninety
five percent of money on the over. On the money line,
ninety seven percent of bets, ninety nine percent of money
on Buffalo.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
I like Buffalo in this one. I think the Niners
just have too many injuries.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
Not one hundred percent parties back yet my question leaning
that way, but both the Trent Williams both probably out.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
Yeah, And I don't think it matters either way.
Speaker 2 (24:55):
Honestly, I think the Bills are forced to be reckon
with this year.
Speaker 1 (24:59):
Give me the Bills at home, all right.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
The big game game of the week, Monday Night Football,
Cleveland Browns coming here to Denver. Take on your Denver Broncos.
Browns started three and a half point favorites. They are
now five and a half point dogs in this one.
Sixty three percent of bets eighty eight percent of money
on Denver. The over under started forty three, has dropped
to forty one and a half, eighty three percent of bets,
(25:22):
ninety two percent of money.
Speaker 1 (25:23):
On the over in this one.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
On the money line, eighty nine percent of bets on Denver,
but only seventy eight percent of the money grant.
Speaker 1 (25:32):
What do you think?
Speaker 5 (25:33):
I like you, man, this game scares me. Even though
the Broncos have had the Browns number the past couple
of years. You saw what the Browns did these past
couple of weeks. I'm nervous. I don't want Jamis to
eating them dubs in Denver. But I do think the
Broncos find a way to win this game. They have
found a way to win games that they don't play
their best end this year, and I think it's gonna
(25:54):
be similar this week. I think it's gonna be a
tough defensive battle. But give me the Broncos at home.
I don't know if they cover. I'm thinking like a
twenty four to twenty maybe a twenty seven to twenty
four game, depending on how much the Browns actually score.
Speaker 1 (26:08):
Give me the Broncos. But like you, I'm very nervous
about this game. I'm nervous about this one too.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
We'll see if Zach Allen, Riley Moss are able to
play in this game.
Speaker 1 (26:16):
Over on the brown side.
Speaker 2 (26:18):
The main injuries Jedrick Wills, the tackle was gonna be
able to the Jermaina Fetti will be the backup tackle there,
and that's going to be a problem that that is
a very pick on able point for the Denver Broncos.
But if Zach Allen's out, I mean, that's a little
bit tougher to get to generate some of that pass
rush that they that they've been generating. You look at
Miles Garrett on the other side, going to be up
against Garrett Bowles a little bit, maybe some Garrett on
(26:39):
Garrett crime.
Speaker 1 (26:40):
We'll see how that one shakes out to me.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
Nervous, safe, Yeah, that one shakes out for them. The
Browns for the season have our thirtieth in scoring. It's
sixteen point nine points per game, but a lot of
that has to do with back when Deshaun Watson was
the quarterback there over the last four games, much more
prolific scoring, going two and two, but scoring twenty nine,
(27:03):
twenty seven, thirty five and twenty four in that span.
Unless anyone think those were against bad defenses.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
One was the Baltimore but the other was the Chargers,
the Saints.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
In Pittsburgh, and whatever you think of those teams, they've
got good defenses. So got to be interesting. Gott to
be very very interesting game. I'm gonna withhold my actual
pick on that until we get the slid out there
on Monday, just because I will to see the injury reports.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
But you know what we can do JACKINGWA traffic on
the table, Bryan.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
Yeah, Nathan's the girl gonna joined us in the next segment.
He's the Rick Lewis of Cleveland Browns radio color analyst.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
I like Nathan. He's a good guy. Oh he's a.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
Great guy, absolute gem of a human being. I forget
how we first met, but he with the time I did.
He was he was the Fantasy of Football advisor for
Ashton Kutcher, and that was because his wife his now
wife then new Milakutas for whatever reason, running in britty circles.
(28:00):
So I guess, yeah, and so yeah he was originally
did he was doing like sideline stuff for the Browns
and he actually got suspended for a game for screaming
at a ref.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
Forget lots of real.
Speaker 3 (28:11):
Browns fan, right brown right there?
Speaker 2 (28:15):
Yeah, No, the girl was great, dude. Every time I
see him, you know, I seehi always at the Senior Bowl.
Combine all that kind of stuff they have me on
her show, and you know, we chop it up.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
And all that kind of stuff. It's a lot of fun.
It's good.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
It's good to connect with him and get to see
him Monday night obviously when they come out here to
do the broadcast, we'll be on the show here in
the next segod Parker Gabriel gonna join us bottom of
the hour, and of course buff prime time at eight
o'clock will be being filling in for Mark Johnson, who
was uh in Maui doing the uh doing the basketball game.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
I don't know what Mark, I mean.
Speaker 2 (28:44):
You got to see two kind of lopsided losses, but
on the other side it was Maui.
Speaker 5 (28:49):
Yeah, and I think you come out of that honestly
for CEEU, even though you're one and two in that tournament,
I think you feel pretty good you You you showed
that you can compete with top tier TEAMMS. Now are
you going to do that on a consistent basis. We'll
see as the season goes on, but you know that
it's there.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
At least I seem gott to grow a little bit.
Did Shannon go out with him che Scott?
Speaker 2 (29:09):
No, No, okay, he's got a little under the weather.
He did not get the Hawaii trip. He didn't get
to go to Maui.
Speaker 5 (29:14):
Oh, but he will be going there at Oklahoma State,
right Or is that game here that's the o comestake game.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (29:21):
Is that a homegameer in a WEE game? The Friday game? Yeah,
I don't I legitimately don't know the answer to that.
Speaker 5 (29:25):
This is how this shows you how ready I am
for four days off.
Speaker 2 (29:28):
Yeah, it's it's it gets to that point in the season.
You're just you're at the point where you're like, yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
Yeah, Shannon usually gets to travel with the team, but
this is gonna say.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
I didn't know if he was getting the free trip
to free trip to Maui out of it. I was like, oh,
go Shannon, Like wait, wait to go there? Yeah, it's
here by the way. Yeah, hopefully their bowl game so
he gets to go to Boulder this week on Friday.
Hopefully their bowl game isn't a nice destination. So Shannon
still gets his beach vacation. Yeah, gets his vacation, and
miss Peggy'll get to go to the beach. That's honestly,
that's what we're doing for here. It's free vacations from
his Peggy and and Shannon Scott. The game Friday, of course,
(30:02):
will be here on KOA ten am Mountain Standard time
as to see you Buffs take on Oklahoma State three
at eight Oklahoma State to round out the season. Buffs,
of course, had that disappointing Walls at Kansas last week
thirty seven to twenty one, probably took them out of
the College Football Playoff. You need a lot of help
in order to make this thing happen.
Speaker 1 (30:22):
I think you any chance, Yeah, don't you need? You
need too.
Speaker 2 (30:25):
You need any two losses from BYU, Iowa State and
Arizona State.
Speaker 1 (30:29):
Is that right correct? Okay?
Speaker 2 (30:30):
Yes, And you need any any two of those to lose,
and that that appears unlikely. It's not impossible, not impossible,
but it appears unlikely at this point any any two
of those to lose.
Speaker 1 (30:40):
And of course you would be in Iowa State taking
on Chanansas State.
Speaker 5 (30:50):
That's that's the one that I think could be a loss.
Then you just need a big upset in one of
the other two games.
Speaker 1 (30:55):
Right because Arizona State's taken on they're at Arizona. Yeah,
the rivalry game a little.
Speaker 5 (31:02):
But Arizona looked bad when they played the Buffs earlier.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
Yeah, they did.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
They got like one player on that team, you know,
anytime you get like a one player team like that,
and then of course you got BYU and then they
get Houston at home, and the Houston has not been
very good this year, so.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
It'll be tough.
Speaker 2 (31:19):
It's not impossible, just improbable at this point, but we'll
be rooting on. They got to handle business first though.
Right here on Kowa ten am Mountain Time. I guess
coverage starts at nine am, eight am, eight am. So
Shannon Stot gets to go to Boulder at eight am
on Black Friday.
Speaker 1 (31:33):
Oh, he'll be there, Maui, he'll be there tomorrow night.
Speaker 2 (31:36):
Yeah, actually you probably will be knowing Shannon. I'll get
to like six hours early Broncos Countries.
Speaker 1 (31:41):
And I we got to hit a break. We come back.
Nathan's the Girl is gonna join us susicton Broncos Country
Night right here on Kiawa
