Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to it Broncos country tonight. But with all Brian
Nick Ferguson Grant Smith five six six nine zero is
the text line. It feels like several people on the
text line agree with you calling Jante a stud real
recognized real. I mean, I'm not saying he's not. I
just don't think he's going to be a Bronco.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
Well, I mean, that's always up in the air, but
it would be good if he changed one blue uniform
for another.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
You went went from being a Bronco to whip, of
being a Bronco yessy state Bronco.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
To okay, I'm just say it, like a bucking Bronco.
That's what we go, bucking Broncos. Okay, well, yeah, there's.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
A little bit, a little bit we don't have a
blue field, but otherwise, same thing.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
Nick recently got to sit down.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
The former Broncos quarterback and general manager John Elway. You
got a chance to chop it up with him for
just a minute and we got some of that interview. Now,
obviously he can get you the full thing over there
on the Nick ferg Show. Overall the YouTube channel there,
you guys want to go there.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
And check that out.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
But Nick, you got to sit down with John and
ask him a few questions.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
And it doesn't come a lot. Apportunity doesn't come along
very often. No, it actually doesn't.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
So I was blessed to be able to have us
sit down interview with John Elway. The first thing we
talked about is an ongoing condition that he's had with
his hands, and it's called Juba Trend's contractor and this
is something that affects a lot of individuals and it
was something that started to really kind of hamper John
(01:28):
Elway during his time as a Broncos GM.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
But listen to it and now I'll let him explain
all of it. Well, it's kind of.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
Hard to explain because I think it, you know, an
amazing thing. They could affect a lot of people in
the country. Over five percent of the population has this condition,
and it's really something that's you know, it starts contracting
in your hands right where you can't put your hand
flat on a table and so you know, and the
thing is it's it's a condition that can regret. Some
(01:55):
of it gets worse. I remember I was when I
was a jam with the Broncos. I saw it in
my hand and it's actually it's funny. They call it
the Viking disease because it affects Northern European descent, and
so I've got Norwegian in me, and so greekscept me
to the hand specialists, believe it or not, and found
out that I had this stupid trim contraction and long
(02:17):
for a long time there was only surgical options, and
now there's a non surgical option, which I chose because
I'd had enough surgeries and was able to get my
hand released. And even though it's a condition that never
you can't get rid of it, but it's something that
you know, obviously with the non surgical option you can
relieve the effects of it.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
Well when you think about the hand injury itself, and
he's right, a lot of individuals don't realize that this
is what they're going through. And when he discussed the
fact of not being able to put his hand flat
on the table.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
And the first thing I thought.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Was the number of things that we all take for
granted that we get up every single day and we're
able to do. Could you imagine being a Hall of
Fame quarterback like John Elway and you're having issues with
your with your hand being able to you know, just
grip regular household items, I mean a golf club, a
football to toss around with your kids, to drive.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
All of these things could be issues that he's dealing with.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
And I'm glad that he was talking about it because
there's a lot of us like to ignore when we
have health issues, especially men, because it's that macho bravado
associated with it.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
But listening to.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
Him talk about it, he is big on this huge
advocate for it. He wants more people to go out
and make sure they are getting treatment for it. And
he John Elway has to to kind of do self
therapy on himself. I mean, he gets shots and need
all these things to help him deal with it. But
it seems as though it's an ongoing thing. It's not
(03:56):
going to get better for him. It's just a way
of managing it. So if anyone out there feels as
though they're going through something similar to that, I mean,
you can go to facts on hands dot com Facts
on hands dot com to get more information about it.
But it is something that you know, we all should
be aware of, not just because of duper trans contract,
(04:17):
but just going out being man and being people and
getting you know, monthly weekly checkups.
Speaker 3 (04:22):
Oh yeah, I didn't know he had anything wrong with
his hands at all.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
Like this was information new information to me, and so yeah,
I was fascinating to kind of find out read up
on that particular issue and how widespread it actually is.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
It is, And once again, you know, as men, we
are very private individuals. We keep things close to the chest.
And just think about, once again, how well John Elway
is known here in the city of Denver and amongst
NFL people to a point where he may not want
to disclose that to someone, because you know how that works.
(04:56):
You go from being on the top of the mountain
to now something is debilitating like this, and other people
may have their own opinions about it. But once again,
I'm glad that he was able to speak up about it.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
But also I had an opportunity to.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Talk to him about the Hall of Fame with him
being a Pro Football Hall of Famer, and my biggest thing,
and I've asked so many individuals who actually have votes
or former players who are now in the Pro Football
Hall of Fame, what the hell is it going to
take And why Mike Shanahan isn't in the Pro Football
Hall of Fame.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
But I'll let John Elway tell you himself.
Speaker 4 (05:34):
Well, that's a good question, because I think that time
is now. Nick. I think that, you know, Mike Shanahan is,
you know, the best coach I played for in my career.
And I think when you look at Mike and his
career having won two World Championships plus I think the
most the key thing with Mike is the influence he's
had throughout the game on the offensive side of the
(05:54):
football game, of what he's done offensively with the West
Coast offense when he took it and expanded it like
he did when he became the head coach of the Broncos.
Speaker 3 (06:04):
And I think that and then you go from there.
Speaker 4 (06:06):
Then you look at you know, you look at the
coaching tree of the of the coaches that have coached
for Mike, the young head coaches out there, you know,
Kyle Shanahan and McVeigh, those young guys that are offensive
gurus that have all you know, got their tutelage underneath Mike.
And so I don't think, you know, when it comes
down to it, a coach that deserves to be in
(06:27):
the in the.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
Hall of Fame.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
I don't think there's anybody more deserving than Mike Shanahan and.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
John Elway is correct.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
I mean, what other coach out there is more deservant
than Mike Shanahan. All you have to do is look
around the NFL and you will see so many of
the disciples, if you want to call them that, that
have learned the system. Last night, if you watch uh,
you know Urge Night Football, you saw Matt Lafleur. Well,
it was part of the coaching staff when Mike was
(06:56):
a part of the Washington Commanders. Right, obviously they were
not the commanders then, But you get what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
So I still don't understand.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
And maybe then you can tell me, provide some insight
as to why this man, this coach isn't in the
Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
I can't give you a reason why he's not in
the Hall of Fame. It doesn't make any sense to me.
And you talk about a guy who's won multiple Super
bowl anytime you got a head coach that won multiple
Super Bowls, there probably should be in the Hall of
Famer's two guys two out there right now that have
won multiple Super Bowls that are not as head coaches,
that are not in the Hall of Fame, right as
Mike shanahana Tom Coughlin.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
Both those guys should be in, both of them.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
But then when you look at around the league and
look at Mike's.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
Influence, it goes beyond that. That's what I'm saying, that's
just for starters.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
Then you go on to the coaching tree, the influence
on the current game. Because Tom Coughlin, for what you know,
and I believe Tom Coffin is a Hall of Fame coach,
I don't know that Tom Coughlin really has a footprint
on the modern game. He's kind of an old school
throwback coach and there's not much.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
About Tom Coughlin.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
I think that now is imprinted upon the game, although
there certainly has been at various junctures. When you look
at my Shanahan, his imprint is everywhere. It's the vogue
offensive scheme. When New Orleans decided they wanted to update
their offense from the Sean Payton offense, who did they
bring in.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
Alex Gibbs Kick Kubiak.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
Well, they wanted kick Kubiak this year, right, you know,
to run a variant of the Kobyak Shanahan offen.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
Yeah, but if you if you go back several years,
even when Sean was there, before you know Clint got there.
I mean, there's still whole idea was likely, well, how
can we make our running game much better? Alex Gibbs
was brought in, and Alex Gibbs was one of those
coaches who have been a part of I guess the
coaching and the teaching from the offensive line standpoint.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
And he is another coach that I believe needs to.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
Be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame because the
way that he coached offensive line in that Zones team.
I mean, Anthony Lynn was a player who play in
that scheme. He went on obviously the coach in the NFL.
So it's so many branches that stem from that Mike
Shanahan tree and is bearing fruit right now. I would
(09:12):
dare to say this, Ben, and you conrrect me from
wrong text line if you want to, I would love
to hear from you as well. When you think about
an offensive scheme that has revitalized the conversation about running
backs in the NFL and their value, because we've seen
the value in the running back position. The Mike Shanahan
(09:32):
system has definitely done that.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
Yeah, and you've seen that carry on. Guys that have
worked for Mike throughout the league. We talked a little
bit about Gary Kopiak there obviously, about Lafleura, Anthony lenn
You mentioned Mike McDaniel, Sean McVay, Rahie Morris, Kyle Shanahan obviously,
and you could go on and on. There's been tony
other guys on the defense side. Jim Hasletch and Bates,
he had Terror Biskey. On the offensive side, You've Artschell
(09:56):
worked for him. We mentioned Dallas Gibbs, She's got have
gone on to You know that this tree has gone
on and continue to.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
Just bear fruit throughout the league. And it is the
vogue off of eight. He is the league right now,
you know.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
I mean that is there are a few teams out
there that don't run what they're running, but it's few
and far between.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
Yeah, And and what happens is that offensive scheme. It
is right, and then that's the property bearing fruit. And
you look at the fact of the valuing of the
running back position where the league has become so passed
happy that we don't see teams that have two, three,
maybe four running back. Just think think about where the
(10:34):
Broncos are right now from a running standpoint.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
Right and where they used to be it was going
down and like this, Okay, we got to Landis Gary.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
Griffer.
Speaker 5 (10:44):
You had.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
Mike Bell on and on and on, and it was
just the next guy.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
Peyton hillis the next guy up as far as as
far as that stuff goes, and I yeah, it's it's
fascinated by the way.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
I think.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
I'm pretty sure that the AFC West is the only
division that does not have a team that runs the
Shanahan offense.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
That does not That's a that's an astounding uhetive right there.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
They're certainly the only division in the AFC. I have
to go back.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
I'm I'm trying to think of the NFC right now,
but I'm pretty sure that, uh he says the does
the NFC East. The NFC East might be the only
other division then, okay.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
Because I know, obviously, because every other division.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
Has somebody, it's the NFC East in the nfcs the
only two divisions that do not have a team that
runs the Shannan offense. Because NFC East has Kellen Moore
and he just doesn't run that. No, it's got Mike
McCarthy and he he doesn't run that. Kingsbury and he
obviously doesn't run that, and Brian Dable and they don't
they don't run that either. And then of course we
you know, we've got Greg Roman, Sean Payton, Andy Reid,
(11:51):
and Scott Turner. Yeah, to be fair, Luke gets he
does actually come off that tree, which is what they
started the season. Raiders did start the season with somebody
off is trying to do that. Let's Luke Getsky, Luke Getzy.
But Scott Turner, who's North Turner's son, and runs something
more akin to that. So the Raiders maybe you know,
will sort of not count that for now. But really,
if one maybe two divisions in the NFL that don't
(12:13):
have a team that run that offense.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
And theren lies the love of influence of you know,
Mike Shanahan being able to do that and for me
being a defensive guy and loving the idea of contact
in that particular way. Just looking at a team known
as though you have a bevy of running backs that
at any point you can put in the game.
Speaker 3 (12:36):
And here's the thing, now, Ben, it's not one of
these things.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
Okay, you got five running backs and you're gonna go
You're gonna implement five different schemes for those different backs. No,
and and that Mike Shanahan's scheme. All five of those
backs would know how to run the scheme. Mike McDaniel,
we forgot about mc mcdame's out of Miami.
Speaker 1 (12:54):
Yeah, so I bets you actually the look. And the
other part of this is it wasn't just he didn't
have an ar could type running back. It wasn't just
I'm gonna go get this particular body type, size, note
that kind of thing. It's different guys, and it was
different guys throughout the career. You know, you had guys
like Tatum Bell or Quinton Griffin who were smaller and faster.
You had more powerful, punishing guys like Ruben Drills or
Alfred Mars when he was in Washington.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
Yeah, you know you had Peyton Hillis was.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
A full back basically uh an h back fullback kind
of guy that they could do a little bit of that.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
You had obviously TD and those guys.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
Yeah, Ron, Ron Daye, Ron, Dane Willis mcgaheat.
Speaker 3 (13:32):
You know, You've had guys throughout the years.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
I think I don't know if Pittman was there when
when uh, Travis Henry was he there? Travis, Travis Henry
was here with me with okay, with Mike. I couldn't
remember trying to remember it because I get it confused.
Then after I started getting into the Josh McDaniels era,
uh and who was there after in John Fox? But yeah,
I mean there were guys that, uh, all different archetype
of running bashed Clinton Port and all different guys, and
(13:55):
they you know, that scheme war. It didn't matter if
you were a powerful, slower guy like a Live Morris
or if you were a one cut, blazing speed guy like.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
Quentin Griffin or Tatum Bell. If you could you could
let the blocking shut up, that scheme was gonna work
for you.
Speaker 1 (14:09):
Mike Anderson, Wow, I just Gary, Mike Anderson, on and
on and on.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
Look, man, I'll say this facing the Broncos offense, the
way they block the attention to detail, Bobby Turner, you know,
Alex Gibs, Mike Shanahan, Mike Heimerdinger, right, Gary Kubiak, all
those coaches, in my mind, should all be in the
(14:37):
Hall of Fame based on what they were able to
do here with the Denver Broncos. But that made me
better as a player because I faced the team that
the the zone stresscheme, they can get off on the
edge fast quick made me play better. Look, man, it
was it was a blessing to come to this team
(14:57):
and be a part of it. But once the game
man at one point we got to bear the hatchet
whatever it is. But but come twenty twenty five, however,
they have to do it, Senior whatever, Mike Shanahan should
be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
Totally agree with you. Nick.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
The rest of your interview with John Elway's up on

Shador going on the.
Speaker 3 (15:35):
Next level, So definitely check that out.
Speaker 2 (15:36):

you can go to the YouTube channel right now and
find the interview in his entirety.
Speaker 1 (15:44):
I'm still calling it Twitter because anytime I hear X,
it's either got to be DMX or Professor Xavier, one
of the two.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
I can't. I can't do the yeah. Or would it
be like X like ex girlfriend in your phone? Well
that would be ex Okay, Yeah, yes, you talked about
it earlier. Have no idea what you're talking about. Rockos
Country back up for this.

I refuse to call it X because every time I
think of DMX, X gonna give it to you.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
Just for you, we we're just saying it's on Twitter.
For everyone else, it's up on x or a shob
up there. Surely definitely go check that out. You want
to hear the interview in this entirety, but also here
the bonus portion of the interview with talking about Shidorah
Sanders and Travis Hunter and how John Elway as a
(17:00):
GM how would he look in and evaluate those two players.
So go find that information on YouTube at the Nick
Ferk Show.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
Looking forward to that, we're gonna do some pick them
here in just a few Before before we do that,
I wanted to get into a few things about the
Broncos and where they are as we come down to
the final quarter of the season. I get it's a
seventeen game season, but I still divvy it up by
quarters as we come down to it. It's interesting because
(17:30):
I think as this season started he would have said
this season was all about the development of Bo Nicks.
And if we had asked what's the successful season for
you record wise, we would have said, what finishing above
five hundred making the playoffs?
Speaker 2 (17:47):
Maybe? Well for me, I had the team at seven wins, right,
with the ability to win more dependent on how the
ball bounce or whatever till back.
Speaker 3 (17:59):
Then you would consider this a successful season, right, Okay,
all right, with doubt it's a successful season.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
I mean, I remember when I did this at the
beginning of the year, I said, my criterion was this
is development. Next, the record doesn't matter. But if you
finish above five hundred, so be it. Right, They're obviously
gonna fish above five hundred.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
So uh.
Speaker 3 (18:16):
That brings me to this point. Has the bar for
that changed, because if we've already had a successful season
and they lose out, are we still saying it's a
successful season at this point? Absolutely, because the bar has changed.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
The barometer has changed because of this success changes you.
Speaker 3 (18:35):
The more success you have, the more success is expected. Well,
and normally, you know, moving the goal posts I would
be opposed.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
To, But in this circumstance, yes, absolutely, based on where
the goal posts were set at the beginning of the
season by national and local pundits and Vegas odds and
viewing the fact that the law Bonco's coming into the season, well,
they don't have a proven quarterback. How they're going to
(19:05):
win with the unproven quarterback and a bunch of guys
who are not first rounders, but they found the way
to win.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
And that's the great thing about it.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
And that's why I think the Executive of the Year
should be George Payton.
Speaker 3 (19:20):
I'm with you on that.
Speaker 1 (19:21):
All that to say this is that we got to
be careful because success begins to.
Speaker 3 (19:27):
Expect more success. They've been Wait a minute, what I
don't want to become?
Speaker 1 (19:33):
Okay, are forty nine ers fans right now that are
trying to fire Kyle Shanahan because they don't believe that
he could get them to the next level.
Speaker 3 (19:43):
The guy who has got.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
Them to two super Bowls after they waded through the
Valley of the Shadow of Death.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
That was Jim Tom Sulla and Chip Kelly.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
Okay, but the forty nine Ers fans are feeling that
way because it's been a long time since they were
relevant and you got to go back to Jerry Rice,
John Taylor and you know Bill wash and Joe Montana. Yeah.
So the one thing about success, it is intoxicating, right,
It is intoxicating you.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
You live it, you breathe it.
Speaker 1 (20:13):
And the standard was here asked Miami about that because
Larry Coker got fired.
Speaker 3 (20:17):
For only winning ten games a year exactly, so for
me as a fan, you got to ask what you want, Like,
if your team.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
Is not performing well, then no one's talking about your team.
You're upset and people are trolling you on Twitter. But
once you start making headway and you start, you know,
winning games, that's where you want to be. I would
I would rather from a San Francisco forty nine to fan,
I would rather be upset that the team has been
you know, decimated about injuries and this is where you
(20:48):
find find your team. But you know, when the team
has been healthy, how well they played, because once again,
think about where Broncos fans are now, what they've had
to suffer through. They had back to bat should have
been three Super Bowls back to back to bat, but it.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
Didn't happen because they lost to Jacksonville.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
But that established the standard which this organization and ownership
of trying.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
To get back to Yeah, I'm with you on that.
We get into that discussion a little bit later. By
the way, Boise is up on UNLV and Army up
on Tulane. Both of them looked like they're going to
cruise to victory.
Speaker 5 (21:22):
Here.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
We'll see how that goes. Let's pick some pick some
games for this weekend.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
Obviously, we have already had the Detroit Lions beating up
on and I say beating up on beat anyway, the
Green Bay Packers. But what need more to pick care
Jets taking on the Dolphins. This one started off Jets
plus two out of Jets plus six Dolphins minus six,
As it were.
Speaker 3 (21:47):
Sixty seven percent of bets, sixty percent of.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
Money on the Dolphins there minus six over under started
forty seven and a half down to forty four and
a half, seventy four percent of bets, sixty five percent
of money on the over and on the money line,
ninety percent of bets, eighty nine percent of money on Miami.
Speaker 3 (21:59):
In the one Jets at Miami, I'm taking the Dolphins.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
That there's nothing that's changed with this Jets organization that
would give me the idea that the Jets can actually
win this game, even though Aaron Rodgers putting stuff out
there in the in the universe whether the Jets won
him or not.
Speaker 3 (22:17):
And I can see Mike mcdamee is based on.
Speaker 2 (22:19):
The diversity he has with his offense attacking Sauce Garden.
Speaker 3 (22:23):
That's the guy that you attack if you'd like mc dames. Yeah,
this looks like an easy Dolphins win to me.
Speaker 1 (22:29):
Yeah, I concur jets about tired of Aaron Rodgers stick
a guy who said, you don't need to be doing
this in front of the cameras. Will he was recording
a documentary for Netflix played part series. Yeah, that's not
narcissism at all. Panthers at the Eagles. This one started off,
Eagles might have seven and a half out.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
The Eagles might as twelve and a half.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
Sixty six percent of bet seventy five per excuse me,
sixty five percent of money on the Eagles over under
forty five estate roughly the same eighty one percent of bets,
seventy six percent of money on the over on the
money line, ninety seven percent of bets, eighty two percent
of money on Philly.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
I like Philadelphia in this one. I kind of like
the Panthers the covers. They've been playing better football, Like, ooh,
you think the Panthers are going to cover twelve and
a half? O man, they've been covering lately. They've been
a cover machine lately. You know what, Maybe they do cover,
but the idea of winning his game obviously not.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
The Panthers are one of the worst teams in the
NFL is against the rush and no, by the way,
Philadelphia has Saquon Barkley, who seems to be a man
possessing on the mission.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
I still think I think the Eagles absolutely win. I'm
just saying I call the Eagles weezer because I mean
the Panthers weezer because a they're doing is covering right
now Toto songs total, said Ay.
Speaker 5 (23:35):
Saquon Barkley on pace for three hundred and ninety carries
this year, by far, will be the most of his career.
But I don't see him slowing down this week against
the Panthers. Give me the Eagles and the Eagles to cover.
We'll see what the if the.
Speaker 3 (23:46):
Larry Johnson effect kicks in there at some point. Browns
at the Steelers.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
Browns reeling off the high octane loss against the Denver
bron because this one started off Steelers plus one, it's
out the Steelers minus seven, now sixty seven percent of bets,
sixty seven percent of money on Pittsburgh, and this one
over under stayed the same forty three and a half
eighty four percent of bets, ninety three percent of money
on the over. In this one on the money line,
ninety four percent of bets, ninety nine percent of money
on Pittsburgh.
Speaker 3 (24:11):
Get me Russ to cook the Browns.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
Yeah, the Browns guy lucky in the snow game a
couple of weeks ago. But put the Broncos game right
in the middle, book end and that, and you know,
Jameis Winston. I love what he's doing. I love him
being a leader. But I don't know if the good
man above is going to plus him from m.
Speaker 3 (24:35):
From the He has not delivered him yet. I think
it's a firm no. My start praying to the other guy.
It's not gonna be any party of any red seas here.
But I'm gonna roll over the steels on this one
to keep Yeah.
Speaker 5 (24:47):
Brown snuck won passes Steelers earlier this year, not gonna
happen again.
Speaker 3 (24:51):
The Steelers are gonna win this game. Raiders at Tampa.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
This one started plus three out the plus six and
a half, fifty nine percent of bets on the bucks,
sixty four percent of money on the Bucks. They're over
under forty four out to forty six, seventy two percent
of bets, eighty nine percent of money on the over
on the money line, ninety three percent of bets ninety
three percent of money on Tampa.
Speaker 3 (25:08):
I love Tampa at home against the Raiders.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
Although you got the two guys who are not quarterbacks
for the Rookie of the Year conversation, Rock Bowers and
Bucky Irving in this one.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
Yeah, both of those guys are really talented young players.
But the Raiders are really right now, They're still trying
to figure things out. And let's be totally transparent by
this situation. Do they really care about winning games from
here it out? No, because they're in the door sand.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
They want should there you go? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (25:34):
And Bucky Irving and Brock Bauers both doing tremendous work
on my fantasy team this year.
Speaker 3 (25:39):
Give me the Bucks. I like them to win this game.
Speaker 5 (25:42):
I like them to sneak into the NFC playoffs somehow.
I had to win the Vision at this point beating
the FAUC Yeah, he's on the tiebreaker.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
I do.
Speaker 3 (25:49):
I like them to win the division at this point,
the Jags taking all the Titans in the battle of
who could care less.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
The Jags started off miightas one and a half yor
have to plus three and a half in this one
Titans minus.
Speaker 3 (26:00):
If you shop the.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
Line, sixty four percent of bets seventy three percent of
money on Tennessee. Here over understarted at forty five down
to thirty nine and a half. Whatever the opposite of
fireworks are, that is what the betters are expecting.
Speaker 3 (26:11):
Here eighty two percent of bets.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
Seventy nine percent of money the over there eighty four
percent of bets, only sixty six percent of money on
the Titans on the money line. I do like Tennessee
has been playing a little bit better football here, but
both these teams, think out loud, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
Both of these teams are definitely not playing great football
right now. But I think the Titans are due for
vatory and the fact that you know, and as though,
guess what, there's no Trevor Lawrence.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
He's pretty much down for the remaining of the season.
And Mac Jones was once the first round draft pick
and he just kind.
Speaker 2 (26:40):
Of fell off the matt Yeah that's who Mac Jones.
But yeah, this is definitely a game that the Titans
definitely need to win to actually build some kind of
confidence or some kind.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Of momentum if you call it that.
Speaker 5 (26:53):
Yeah, this is a game Will Levis has to win,
and he's gonna be stocking up on the Mayo this weekend.
Speaker 3 (26:58):
I like the Titans to win this game.
Speaker 1 (27:00):
There you go, Saints at the New York Giants, Drew
Lock getting start number two. Giants started off a one
point favorite this one. They're down to a five point dog.
Seventy three percent of bets, eighty percent of money on
the Saints minus five over understarted at forty one's out
about forty one and a half, seventy six percent of bets,
sixty five percent of money on the overall the money line,
ninety one percent of bets, eighty eight percent of money
(27:20):
on the New Orleans Saints on the road.
Speaker 3 (27:22):
But could this be Drew simber to remember?
Speaker 2 (27:25):
You know, I'm gonna go out on a limb here,
and I saw some very positive things and that Thanksgiving
game against the Dallas Cowboys from Drew Lock that gave
me a little optimism.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
I think you're the only one. What did it do?
You tell me? Excited? You saw him run and tried
to come on listen. Could that being said, I'll roll
with Drew Locke and the Giants on this orld. I'll
roll with Drew Locke and the Giants too. I hope
if he gets in the end.
Speaker 5 (27:55):
Zone rushing this time he does a little Tommy DeVito
like Baker Mayfield.
Speaker 3 (27:59):
Yeah, you know, back back back on Young Gez comes
out fair enough. The Falcons at the Vikings. This one
started off Falcons minus won.
Speaker 1 (28:07):
They're out the plus six, fifty five percent of bets,
fifty one percent of money on the Falcons plus six
in this one, over under forty five out to forty
five and a half, seventy four percent of bets, sixty
four percent of money on the over, on the money line,
eighty nine percent of bets, eighty nine percent of money
on Minnesota.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
I like Minnesota to spoil the return of Kirk Cousins.
Speaker 2 (28:25):
Yeah, I'm gonna take the Vikings on this one because
here's what we learn when the Falcons played the Denver Broncos.
Speaker 3 (28:30):
Kirk Cousins still can't move.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
And the Vikings, just like the Broncos, they're one of
the high teams in the league as far as pressure
or per possession.
Speaker 5 (28:40):
So Kirk Cousins is going to see a lot of that,
and Kirk Cousins is going to dominate that pressure.
Speaker 3 (28:46):
You like that, I do give me Kirk.
Speaker 5 (28:48):
Cousins in the reunion game in Minnesota, and the Falcons
stay on top.
Speaker 3 (28:52):
In the NFC South.
Speaker 1 (28:53):
Call it a shot of their Seahawks at the Cardinals
late slate game started at two to oh five. Yak
started plus one out to plus three, sixty nine percent
of butts, sixty eight percent of money on the Seahawks,
plus three over under, forty six down to forty four
and a half, sixty five percent of bets, fifty three
percent of money on the over and on the money line.
Fifty three percent of bets are on the cards, but
seventy eight percent of money on the Seahawks in this one.
Speaker 3 (29:15):
I like Arizona at home.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
No man, I know this is a battle of the birds,
but I'm gonna take those birds by the sea and
take the Seahawks because look nice.
Speaker 3 (29:26):
I mean when you think about Geno.
Speaker 2 (29:28):
Smith and how he has somewhat revitalized his career, I
mean that is something that's amazing.
Speaker 3 (29:35):
And last week Leonard Williams on a defensive line, I mean,
I think you got to pick yes, yes at ninety
two yards, I guess Aaron Rodgers and the Jets.
Speaker 2 (29:44):
So the Seahawks are going to eat and feast on
caler Murray and the Cardinals.
Speaker 5 (29:50):
I like the Cardinals to win this game and just
keep that NFC West Point a cluster.
Speaker 3 (29:55):
That's right, he preached, Brother Grant.
Speaker 1 (29:57):
I'm just saying, Bears at the forty nine ers, no Bears,
A Bears working on Thomas Brown on his second promotion
in three weeks.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
This is up the head coach now our interim head coach,
at least for the Bears.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
Niners gonna be missing Trent Williams, probably Nick Bosa as
well in this one, reeling off the loss to Baltimore.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
Excuse me, Buffalo.
Speaker 1 (30:15):
This one started off forty nine ers and minus five
and a half down to minus three and a half.
Bears plus three and a half has seventy two percent
of bets and fifty five percent of the money on
the over under. It's dropped from forty seven and a
half to forty four, seventy nine percent of bets, eighty
three percent of money on the over. On the money line,
seventy eight percent of bets are on the Niners, but
fifty nine percent of money or on the Bears in
this one on the road at San Francisco.
Speaker 2 (30:37):
Yeah, man, it's been a tough sledding for the forty
nine ths with so many injuries. I mean, you're already
without jord Mason, Christian McCaffrey, now Trent Williams wading expos
I mean, I mean, yeah, normally I would I would
say the forty nine ers, But yeah, I'm moving heavily
towards to Chicago Bears.
Speaker 5 (30:56):
I never thought I would say that at the beginning
of this year, But I'm home with the Chicago Bears
and San Francisco.
Speaker 3 (31:02):
I don't know how. Maybe maybe it's the.
Speaker 5 (31:04):
Interim bump this week, but like Nick said, it's just
all the injuries for the Niners. Man putting both their
running backs on IR this week, I'm sure they'll find
someone to run in that Shanahan offense.
Speaker 3 (31:14):
But Prendo, man, I think the Bears are gonna win
this game. I'm the other direction on that. I'm with
the Niners at home. The Bills are at the La Rams.
Speaker 1 (31:24):
So it started off Bills minus one out to Bills
minus three and a half seventy six percent of bets,
eighty percent of money on Buffalo over under forty eight
out to forty nine and a half seventy percent of
bets fifty nine percent of money on the over on
the money line, ninety three percent of bets, ninety four percent.
Speaker 3 (31:35):
Of money on Buffalo. I am all over Buffalo on
this one, dah Man.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
You know, I think the Rams find a way to
keep it close because Karen Williams inability to run and
get it's an end zone. But right now, man, I
think the Bills and Josh Allen, they're just on a
certain path. They've already beat Kansas City and Patrick Mahomes,
so now they're like, who's next, what's the more debo?
Speaker 5 (32:01):
And that's exactly why they're going to stumble this week again.
So give me the Rams during this one.
Speaker 1 (32:06):
Chargers the Chargers against the Chiefs on Monday Night football
in Kansas City's when started off, Chargers plus six and
a half out the Chargers plus four to sixty six percent,
about seventy percent of money on the Chargers plus four
over under forty four and a half down to forty
two and a half, seventy one percent, about seventy three
percent of money on the over on the money line,
eighty six percent of bet, seventy four percent of money
on the Chiefs in this one.
Speaker 3 (32:28):
I like the Chargers to go into Arrowhead and get
the dub Ooo. This was a very tough one for me.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
Obviously, both of these teams are in the Broncos Division
and they have to play both of these teams to
close out the season. And you say, well, which team
would you rather lose, Kansas City or the Chargers?
Speaker 3 (32:47):
Hell both of them? But I mean that doesn't work
in the NFL.
Speaker 2 (32:50):
But I think the Chiefs win this one because they've
just found ways to just win games they should lose.
Speaker 3 (32:56):
This is where their luck runs out. This is where
Lady Luck runs out of the Chargers.
Speaker 2 (33:01):
I'm with it.
Speaker 1 (33:02):
Bengals at the Cowboys on Monday Night Football Grids.
Speaker 3 (33:06):
This Bengals taking on the Cooper Rush Cowboys. Bengals start
off plus one.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
Now they're minus five and a half, seventy one percent
of bets, eighty seven percent of money on the Bengals
on the road over understarted forty eight and a half
up to forty nine and a half, sixty percent of bets,
eighty three percent of money on the over, on the
money line, ninety one percent of bets, ninety two percent
of money on Cincinnati and Grant.
Speaker 3 (33:27):
I'm gonna need a second hoo day hoday, Well.
Speaker 2 (33:32):
Hey this one right here, I could have picked this
one of my eyes closed. Obviously, you look at Joe Barrown.
What they've been able to do as far as putting
up points, they're not gonna.
Speaker 3 (33:40):
Be shy of that. The only concerned with the Bengals
when you think about it, is their defense. Defense, because
there's no exactly.
Speaker 2 (33:47):
What you're facing. The Cowboys and Cooper rush. Easy win
for the Bengals.
Speaker 3 (33:53):
You want a third one? Sure, hooday, there we go
Broncos Country. Now I got hit a break. We'll be
back after this
