I'm fantastic, Johnny, always wonderful to see you.

All right, So if you're here, that means the Auto
show is just around the corner. Tell us everything we
need to know.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
Well, first of all, is February fourteenth through seventeenth this
year Valentine's Day, Valentine's Weekend. Perfect place to bring a date, right.
We have over thirty manufacturers on site. All of the
details are in pittautoshow dot com, including how you can
get tickets.

All right, so what are some of the special things
I know? Do you have the Electric Avenue this year? Again?
Are you bringing that back?
Speaker 2 (00:41):
We sure do. Once again we have the Duquesne Light
Company Electric Avenue this year. Our two ride along tracks
are the Ford Electric Avenue featuring the Mokey and the
Lightning that you, as an attendee, can ride around in.
The BMW Ultimate EV Test Track has four different models
that you can ride around in.

Now, of course everybody is interested in seeing some of
the new models coming out for the for the twenty
twenty five, but you know it's also something that you
can bring the kids. So as a family friendly event,
what are some of the events you have for the kids?
Speaker 2 (01:14):
Well, for the kids every day of the show, we're
going to give away with Duquine Light Company a toy
electric vehicle. We also have the CCAC Kid Zone. It's
got a ton of activities of kids for all ages.
Every day you can make something different. We have to
build your own bear area. There are balloon animals and
face painting. The Subaru display has a dog adoption area

and the Greater Pittsburgh Golden Retriever Club is also backed
by popular demand.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
All right, so good do you have dogs? You have
dogs at the auto show? And then do you have
any sponsors that you want to make mention?
Speaker 2 (01:45):
Sure? Besides Ducaine Like company, we also have Cohen Markets.
Cohen Markets has a great display that's going to be
all about the benefits of clean the benefits of clean
gasoline in your engine.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
Okay, now, what are the you said the February fourteenth
through the seventeenth, What are there hours and are there
any discount tickets available.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
Friday and Saturday, it's ten to ten. Sunday and Monday
it's ten to five. Monday is half price day for
President's Day.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
All right? So what is Oh, that's why you're bringing
Abe Lincoln into the the Auto Show. I saw it
on the website.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
Absolutely every year he comes. He looks a lot like him.
He's great. He comes and he walks around and people
get their picture taken with him. He has a lot
of interesting link in facts. It's just something fun to
do on President's Day.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
All right. So how many years have the Auto Show
had been coming to Pittsburgh.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
This is our eightieth year.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
Wow, that's amazing. So how much work goes into, you know,
putting on the Auto Show?
Speaker 2 (02:41):
A lot? In fact, as soon as this one's over,
we start working on next year. Yeah. Absolutely, And we're
always trying to, you know, do different things. Have something
new and exciting for the people who come back every
year and say, gee, that's something we to have last year.
Different cars, different displays, different things for the kids.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
All right. So what are some of the new things
that you're ending to the Auto Show in twenty twenty five.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Well, the BMW Ultimate ev test track with the four
different models. Are really excited about that. That's something new
and different for our attendees. In addition to the Ford
Electric Avenue with a monkey and the lightning that we've
had for the past couple of years, this CCAC has
really stepped up their game. They're a great partner of ours.
They have really added on to their kids' activities and

now every single day the kids have an opportunity to
make something different in their area, including something special for
President's Day.

What are some things you want people to know something
that we haven't covered in our conversation.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Well, sure, I want to remind people that half Priced
Day is President's Day, Monday, February seventeenth. Also, you can
park at the Gold Allots Gold Lot number one at
Actor Shore Stadium for eight dollars and take the free
Jim Shorky Mitsubishi shuttle over to the convention center for
the show.
