Check out our website ninety four to three WSC dot com.
Now back to Charleston's Morning News with Kelly and Blaze.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Hey, thanks for being with us on this Tuesday morning.
So Elon Musk interviewed former President Trump last night. There
was a cyber attack which delayed the start of the conversation.
Vice President Kamala Harris's presidential campaign blasted former President Trump's
interview with the billionaire, saying that Trump's campaign is in
(00:33):
service of self obsessed rich guys who will sell out
the middle class. Musk set in a post after the
interview that he would be happy to host Harris on
X spaces, but of course Harris doesn't talk to people,
especially the press. We can't let out spell out the
dirty little secrets of what she'll be doing as president.
(00:55):
Must remain tight lipped and just to give the same
stump speech over and over and over again wherever she goes.
And how about this. The European Union's Digital enforcer wrote
an open letter to Elon Musk on Monday ahead of
the planned interview to remind him of the EU's rules
(01:16):
on promoting hate speech. Europe's Digital Commissioner, Theory Britain reminded
the world's richest man was legal obligation to stop the
amplification of harmful content. So as they keep going after Trump,
Kamala just gets to sit it out. And have you
(01:39):
seen one thing that was, you know, in any way
negative or critical of Kamala Harris in the news lately?
One thing? No, has she discussed any policy issues, No,
(02:00):
except for copying Donald Trump in his pledge to not
tax tips. And funny how Kamala is all for this.
The White House comes out and says the White House
and this administration, the Biden administration is all for it. Well,
funny how they haven't done anything about it yet, they're
all for it now after Donald Trump announced it a
few months ago. But they've been in office for nearly
(02:22):
four years and haven't done a damn thing about it.
But they're for it now since Trump's for it. And
check out these headlines. Well, Kamala sits it out. Elon
Moss Musk hosts friendly chat with Donald Trump on AX.
After tech delays, Donald Trump rages into our long interview
with Elon Musk. Trump revisits most divisive talking points in
(02:45):
rambling interview with Musk. Trump rambles slurs his way through
Elon Musk interview. It was an unmitigated disaster. Fact check.
Trump made at least twenty false claims in his conversation
with Elon Musk, repeats same old talking points in Must Interview,
but lisp steals the show. So I guess people on
(03:08):
this X spaces have experienced this where there's some kind
of processing on it that makes some of the speakers
sound like they have a lisp. So they've jumped on
the bandwagon to criticize Donald Trump's so called lisp because
(03:29):
they're saying that, you know, that's what it sounded like
like he had a heavy lisp in this And did
he go to the dentist or was he drunk or
was he there's all this speculation over this lisp, which
appears to be just audio processing. Let's see here. So anyway,
going through these headlines rambling Trump Must Interview marred by
(03:54):
tech issues. So all the headlines are Annie Donald Trump,
Any Donald Trump, Annie Donald Trump. Well, Kamala enjoys her
so called honeymoon after the coup of the left of
installing Kamala that nobody ever voted for or not in
(04:15):
this election cycle. Anyway, So they vote for Biden in
the primaries, and then it looks like, you know, of course,
Donald Trump was going to win that election is going
to you know, and still may. But they panic Nancy
Pelosi starts pulling the strings behind the scenes. And look
(04:36):
at that crazy lady all over the news lately, with
her weird facial expressions, in her hands going everywhere, in
her literally stupid remarks. She's not a stupid lady, I mean,
look at what she manages to pull off. But so
Nancy Pelosi's the king maker behind the scenes. You have
to wonder who else is back there with her making
(04:58):
these decisions, but the Kamala and then think that it's
okay that she shouldn't go out and do any interviews
or talk to the press because she might be exposed
for who she really is, or horrible policies might be exposed,
and quite honestly, honestly, her stupidity might be exposed. We've
(05:21):
all heard her word salads. We've seen her freeze up
like a deer in the headlights when she's asked a
serious question and doesn't know how to answer it, and
then proceeds with some ridiculous statement that has been described
as word salad. So they're attacking Trump over and over
and over again, Kamala gets a free ride.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
You're listening to Charleston's Morning News on ninety four to
three WUSC. Now back to Kelly and Blaze.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
The show went on last night, whether who's cyber attacked
in ki Is it a ron? I mean, I'm reading
all kinds of stuff we don't know yet.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
Well, it has to be somebody with a lot of resources, right, yeah, So,
I mean it's probably around and they've been attacking us
for and nobody talks about this on a regular basis.
Not only are they cyber attacking us constantly, including the
presidential campaigns, and it looks like probably this Elon Musk interview,
(06:19):
you know, our bases are also under attack, and there's
been rocket attacks on our basis on a regular basis.
Every week. There's multiple attacks on our military basis, and
you know, so we're just supposed to sit here and
pretend like, oh, Joe Biden's got it handle. You see
all the negative news that comes out about fact checking
(06:40):
Trump and going over you know, after what JD said
about catwomen and cat ladies in all this stuff, while
Kamala hides in the basement and literally does not get
pressured at all over having to answer for all of
the things that she said in the past, including defund
the police, including you know, setting up a bail fund
(07:04):
for the rioters during the summer of unrest.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
Well, I can't wait to see how they're going to
banter around with Trump talking about Israel's iron dome because
it can only handle so much and it could be defeated.
And he quite literally said, I want to build a
Why does an America have an iron dome? He said,
every bit of it should be made in the United
States of America, and I will make that happen because
it's not he said, it's not global warming that's our
(07:29):
this existential threat. It's he quite literally used the words
nuclear warming. He discussed six countries now nuclear capable. So
the idea that he pledged to build an iron dome
like Israel's over the United States of America, I just
know I could see the memes now out there from
the left where they're just going to make fun and
say he's unhinged and all these other things.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
Or Kama Little just come out and announced that she
plans on building an iron dome.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
I mean, you know's a two faces.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
I started the show this morning by saying, I don't
know if it's ignorant or or if it's you know,
a masterful troll. No to just say, Okay, I'm for
while I'm hiding in not answering any questions and doing
any interviews and not having to answer for what I
was just you know, partially listing off, and we can
keep going no fracking, open borders, all of it. Instead
(08:19):
of having to answer for any of that, I'm just
going to hide, not give any interviews, and I'm just
going to announce all my new policy decisions based on
what Trump said he was going to do.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
Now, it's not a troll. You know why because she
was the deciding vote when it came to actually going
after taxes and tips, and you know, even again, it
was brought up last night with regards he literally.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
Basically conflation Reduction Act.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
Well basically called her a troll in that, and I'm
glad that he pointed it out.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
That's what I'm saying, So it could be a masterful
troll stroke.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
Well, but no, we also explained that she would be
talking out of both of her mouth by I think
he used the number they do. He used the number
eighty eight million of eighty eight thousand is somewhere around that.
And you know when he said eighty eight thousand, I'm like, oh,
it's going to go on the fact check. You know,
list of things that he said incorrectly was eighty seven
(09:16):
thousand whatever. She she made sure that we hired eighty
seven thousand IRS agents to go after people who can't
make it in her own economy that she gets to
own at this point. So, yeah, when are you going
to run on your record?
Speaker 4 (09:32):
Honey? That's what I'd like.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
She's not because she can't.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
Kelly and blaize our ringside for the main event. This
is Charleston's Morning News on ninety four to three WSC.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
You know, another really really incredible moment last night with
the Elon Trump sit down was when Elon here he is,
CEO of Tesla. Here he is, you know, with embracing
green technology. He also said I'm not anti oil in gas,
he says, but I obviously I also embrace moving things
into the future. He talked about putting his arms around
(10:08):
nuclear energy and quite frankly, you know, said nuclear energy
has such a bad wrap Elon Musk talking about this,
and Trump's like, you're right, you're right, and He's just
letting them talk.
Speaker 4 (10:20):
And go on.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
And the funniest part about it was Trump said, you know, Elon,
I think that that nuclear energy has a branding problem,
and maybe we should rename it after you nuclear energy.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
It was something, well, I mean, that's you know, the
left wants to They pretty much extinguished all roads forward
for their you know, green New Deal, because the only
way to make it work would be to have plenty
of nuclear plants producing all of the electricity that they're
going to need to power the AI, to power all
(10:55):
the electric vehicles, to turn everything electric. There's no way
that solar can do it. There's no way that wind
can do it. Right now, it is an impossibility.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
Which is why one of the first times I actually
heard Elon discuss last night really embracing nuclear energy, explaining
how it gets such a bad rap in.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
The fact that it needs a rebrand.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Trump said, this is Charleston's Morning News with Kelly and Place,
Now the top three things you should know.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
Despite some technical issues, Elon Musk's conversation with former President
Trump on X went on for over two hours. Last night.
Slated to start at eight pm Eastern Time, the conversation
didn't take place for about another hour and a half
due to what Musk said was a distributed denial of
service attack on the platform. Following the hiccup, the two
discussed things such as the attempted assassination of the former
(11:48):
president in Pennsylvania, immigration, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and the
thront of global warming. The discussion drew tens of millions
of views in less than an hour and set stream
records on other platforms, including Rumble. The Olympic flag is
in Los Angeles, where it will live through the end
of the twenty twenty eight Summer Games. LA Mayor Karen
(12:12):
Bass and a contingent of Olympic athletes from southern California
returned to lax with the flag yesterday afternoon, also on
the plane where members of the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee,
executives from LA twenty eight and elected officials. Bass received
the flag from Paris Mayor and Hidalgo during Sunday nights
closing ceremony. It was first time in Olympic history that
(12:35):
the flag had been passed between two female mayors. Voters
will head to the polls in several states today. Connecticut, Minnesota, Vermont,
and Wisconsin will hold primary elections. In Minnesota, progressive congressmen
Elan Omar will defend her seat against former Minneapolis City
council member Don Samuels. The contest comes after two other
(12:57):
members of the so called progressive squad, Jamal Bowman and
Corey Bush, lost their Democratic primaries this cycle.
Speaker 3 (13:05):
Yeah, because the American people are waking up, thank God,
waking up. Maybe some of you lacking some sleep if
you were able to stay up last night for the
Elon Trump interview that did happen. The show went on,
and man, I was there for every second of it.
And let me tell you, the idea that Kamala Harris
is out here trying to troll her campaign clearly is
(13:26):
expecting that people weren't listening or tuning in, because for
her to say that these are self obsessed rich guys,
all they did last night was talk about how they
wanted to.
Speaker 4 (13:41):
Hire more people.
Speaker 3 (13:42):
Elon Musk said, my god, you know, with inflation, we
just need to cut government spending. Then we fix inflation.
When it comes to hiring more people. How about we
cut the overburden some regulations. Trump touted how he did
that during his presidency.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
Well, Musk said in a post after the interview that'd
be happy to host Kamala the X Spaces, But as
we know, she doesn't talk to anybody.
Speaker 3 (14:07):
No, she's too busy getting on the front of Time magazine,
even though she didn't sit down for an interview. And
I love that she was the most unpopular vice president
like a month ago, and now it's her time to shine.
It's just like, have you seen the picture this picture
on Trump even brought it up last night on Time Magazine.
I mean, she's literally pictured as if she's like, you know,
(14:30):
a deity, a goddess, a saint.
Speaker 4 (14:33):
It's her time to shine.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
How about it's her time to sit down with you
Time magazine and an interview.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
I mean she didn't even sit down for an interview. Wow.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
No, she's too busy hiding and she can't explain her
policy flip flops. I mean that would be very uncomfortable
for her, wouldn't it. And it would also destroy the
coup that Nancy Pelosi and who knows who else put
into place. You know, the voters picked Joe Biden as
(15:03):
their presidential candidate. But that doesn't really matter to the
Democrats what the voters think.
Speaker 3 (15:08):
Also said exactly almost verbatim, like that last night by Trump,
quite literally, He's like, this is a this is a coup.
I beat you know, Joe Biden, and people voted for
Joe Biden, you know, for me to potentially move on
in November to face not Kamala Harris. So they did
not bring up debates between the two, but Elon did,
(15:32):
and Vite has said I've invited her on. She's welcome,
but listen, Time would I would think Time would give
her a pretty friendly interview, you know, Elon Musk would
be I wouldn't say wouldn't be friendly, but you know
what I mean, he'd hold her feet to the fire.
I mean, it's not too difficult too, My god, look
(15:53):
at her record. All you have to do is defend
your record.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
But nobody's talking about her record. I was sitting there
last night, I think it was Hannity was going down
the list of, you know, all of her policy positions
through the years, and you know, up until just recently.
And I turned to my wife and I said, you know,
what nobody knows about this because the media does not
(16:17):
do its job and they don't report on this. Do
you think if you turn on CBS or NBC or
ABC or CNN or MSNBC, that you're hearing how Kamala
was going to ban fracking on day one, on how
you know she thinks that they should defund the police,
(16:39):
on how she would dismantle ice, and we can keep
going down this list. Do you think that any of
these news organizations ever talks about that? Well?
Speaker 3 (16:51):
Trump mentioned it last night. By day one when they
nixed the Keystone XL pipeline in over fifty thousand jobs,
which likely could have been more. And this is given
in his presidency the only one in history to make
the United States energy independent. But he talked about, how
you know, here's this, what are the self obsessed rich guy?
Speaker 4 (17:09):
This is what a Kamala's campaign saying about Elon and Trump?
Sit down.
Speaker 3 (17:14):
Now, he's trying to create jobs. You guys, Day one
killed them by the tens of thousands, if not more.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
I mean created one hundreds of a record number of jobs.
Don't you know there was Trump that lost all the
jobs the economy, and it was Biden Harris who saved
us all from major events to local headlines.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
This is Charleston's Morning News on ninety four to THREEBUSC.
Now back to Kelly and Blasee.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
Today is an International left Hander's Day. You're right handed,
aren't you?
Speaker 3 (17:53):
I am? But you know what, I'm better with a
firearm with my left hand. Can you believe that I'm
right eyed? Left handed? That's the only thing I can't.
I can't write very well with my left hand. Isn't
that weird? And it's all messed up?
Speaker 2 (18:07):
Sounds like it, but.
Speaker 4 (18:08):
Anyway, working on it. I practice.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
It's International Left Handers Day. Presidents Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton,
and Barack Obama were all left handed. Paul McCartney and
Jimmy Hendrix were both left handed. Stevie ray Vaughan, born
right handed, learned to play a left handed guitar because
he wanted to emulate his hero Jimmy Hendricks. Bill Gates, Yep,
he's the south Paw Show's Oprah Winfrey. Julia Roberts and
(18:32):
Lady Gaga both left handers. In baseball, Babe Ruth and
Sandy Kofax were left handers. So if you were a
south paw, today's your day and can celebrate International Left
Handers Day today with some of the best of them.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
