Speaker 1 (00:03):
Decision twenty twenty four. Kelly and Blaze our ringside for
the main event. This is Charleston's Morning News on ninety
four to three WSC.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
I feel like hawling at the moon after talking about
Debbie who just won't let it go new from overnight
in our forecast, another twelve plus inches of rain and
parts of the already water log and flooded out low
country dumping those torrential rains new from overnight has shut
down roadways that frankly weren't flooded yesterday, and we could

(00:36):
see more roadways and that change over the weekend as well.
Welcome in Friday edition of the program here on ninety
four to three WSC. I mean, it's just adding insult
to injury that she was a slow drag all week
long and now so many people getting back on the
roadways trying to get back to work in some sense
of normalcy, at least for a day. And Debbie said,
hold my beer.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Well, speaking of irritating females that are slow drag, guess
where I'm going with this?

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Gee? I wonder should I start cackling?

Speaker 3 (01:13):
And you know the thing is, she won't speak to
the well yesterday. It was all a bunch of excitement
because she answered like two quick questions on the tarmac
at an airport. Oh wow, she has no policies up
on our website, and they're afraid. Nancy Pelosi has even
urged her to not do interviews because they know that
she will expose herself to be the sorry, the stupid

(01:37):
person that she is. That is not an intelligent woman there.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
No, she is Rints and repeat on the campaign trail.
And now if you caught Jesse Waters on Fox putting
the two smashups together between was it Minnesota and Michigan yesterday? Well,
at least this week they were on the campaign trail
because of Debbie and North Carolina, both sides of the
camp had to pivot. But listen to the rinse and

(02:01):
repeat because she's got to stick to the script. It's insane,
the ridiculousness. I can't imagine what the debates are gonna
sound like. I mean, well, i'll play that audio for
you here coming up.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
You're listening to Charleston's Morning News on ninety four to
three WUSC. Now back to Kelly and Blaze.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
All right, I'm gonna pay it off here. Fox's Jesse
Waters putting the rinse and repeat Vice President Terris on
the campaign trail sticking is a carefully scripted speech word
for a word, two campaign stops, and it was Wisconsin
in Michigan, and it's just twenty seconds worth of I
warrned you just so hear me when I say so,
hear me Detroit when I say I know Donald Trump's tight,

(02:47):
I know Donald Trump's.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Tight, and oh wait, ready to fight for it? Oh wait,
ready to fight.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
For it when we fights? Well, boy, hopefully that doesn't
keep you up tonight.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
The sound byte campaign, Uh.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Huh, yer, can you imagine what the debates are going
to be like? You know, you can't carefully script all that.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Well, I was going to say, that's going to be
her comeback as you're a felon, I'm a prosecutor. Watch
that's what it's going to be.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
This is Charleston's Morning News with Kelly and Place.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Now the top three things you should know.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
At least one debate between former President Trump and Vice
President Kamala Harris is set. ABC News announced Trump and
Harris agreed to a debate on September tenth. During a
Thursday press event, Trump said he agreed to two more
debates on NBC and Fox News, but those networks and
the Harris campaign have yet to confirm. Kamala Harris is

(03:52):
rallying support from Union workers in her twenty twenty four
presidential bid. Harrison her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walls,
with United Ato Workers members yesterday in Detroit. Harris thanked
the union for endorsing her presidential campaign, as the ticket
hopes to win the crucial battleground state of Michigan in November.
Harris and Walls are carrying out a blitz of swing

(04:14):
states this week and are set to speak in Arizona today.
The nation's first giant pandas to return to America in
twenty one years are making their debut. Dignitaries and visitors
from around the world are in San Diego to catch
their first glimpse of the two bears. The San Diego

(04:34):
Zoo is opening Panda Ridge to unveil Yun Schwan and Singbao.
Five year old Yun Schwan in four year old Zingbao
arrived in San Diego on June twenty seventh. They've been
acclimating to their new habitat and getting used to being
around people for the last six weeks. People are excited

(04:59):
to see these giant panda's return after twenty one years.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Man, pand does just do something to people. And I'm
glad you had to, by the way, pronounce those names
and not me this morning.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
Oh my goodness, Jung Yung Schwan and Sing bao Wa.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Well done, well done. Also well done. Trump's press conference
airing live here yesterday on ninety four to three WSC
holy smokes that he dropped some bombs. Man, you talked
about the campaign trail here coming up later today. But
oh my gosh, one of my favorite moments Mike drop,
I'm gonna call it one of the mic drop moments

(05:37):
that he threw out there was when the reporter asked him,
are you worried about the Biden Harris crowd sizes wait
for the answer. It's pretty epic. Oh my gosh. Oh
he just he slayed, is the best best way to
say it. Let's see, give me a breck.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
Listen, I had one hundred and seven thousand people in
New Jerry.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
You didn't report it.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
I'm so glad you as what does she have yesterday?
Two thousand people? If I ever had two thousand people,
you'd say my campaign is finished. It's so dishonest the press.
And here's a great example. I had in Michigan recently,
twenty five thousand people and twenty five thousand people we
just couldn't get him in. We had in Harrisburg twenty

(06:25):
twenty five thousand people and twenty thousand people couldn't get in.
We had so many Nobody ever mentions that when she
gets fifteen hundred people. And I saw it yesterday on ABC,
they said, oh, the crowd was so big.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
I have ten times, twenty times, thirty times the.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Crowd size, and they never say the crowd was big.
That's why I'm always saying, turn around the cameras. I'm
so glad you asked that. I think it's so terrible
when you say, well, she has fifteen hundred people, a
thousand people, and they talk about, oh, the enthusiasm. Let
me tell you, we have the enthusiasm the Republican Party
and me as a candidate. But the Republican Party has

(07:03):
the enthusiasm.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
He's one hundred percent right by the numbers.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Well, there's so much dishonesty out there, and including in
the press. I mean, even over the last few days,
you know, I saw a national news correspondent on I
can't remember which of the liberal channels, MSNBC probably where
the correspondent was like, you know that JD. Vance at

(07:28):
least Tim Walls served. JD Vance never served. It's like
he was a marine moron.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
That's disgusting.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
And then there was Andrew Mitchell and some other lady
where they were discussing it and they're like, well JD
Vance might have served, but did he ever go to war?
And Andrew Mitchell's like, I'm not sure. It's like you're,
you know, you are on a national news channel and
you're you know, you're too much acclaim such a great reporter,

(07:56):
Andrea Mitchell, but you're unsure.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Well let's be clear. Well yeah, but let's be clear
about this. You want to be sure about something and
pick your fighter.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
JD.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
Vans enlisted in the US Marine Corps after nine to
eleven and was deployed to a rock, So yes, he's
a combat veteran. Meanwhile, you got the guy Waltz that
we're talking about here, who's quite literally that stolen valor
is going nowhere, and that should offend everyone, to be honest,
I mean, especially military families and our veterans.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
Oh, I think it's going somewhere.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
Well, I mean he quit.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
His US steam. I mean people are pissed.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Oh wait, let's compare the two. He quit his unit
when they were deployed to Iraq, and then he lied
about his rank in the National Guard. So you want
to compare the two.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
There you go, well, right and uh. And to finish
my point, So there's that story where they're misleading you
and outright lying about about it. Not only misleading, just lying.
There's this continues to be from the twenty twenty election
news coming out where oh, it looks more and more

(09:00):
and more like the election was stolen. In Wisconsin, they
fired the you know, the election commissioner caught xeroxing sixty
five thousand ballots all for Joe Biden, which happened to
make up the margin he needed to win Wisconsin. In Georgia,

(09:20):
they still refuse to hand over the paper ballots, even
though they've been sued and you know and pretty much
forced to. They're like, no, we're not doing it. So
this keeps going. They keep burying these huge stories, the
attempted assassination on Trump, the threat from Iran to assassinate him,

(09:45):
the plot to assassinate him. Where they arrested the guy
the day before he was shot in Pennsylvania. And do
you see this plastered all over the news. I mean,
these are huge stories and it shows how much the
exception is not only being laid out there by the Democrats,
but also perpetrated by the mainstream media. And it's sickening.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
It is, it's outright dishonesty.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
As you say, breaking news and the most in depth
election coverage. This is Charleston's Morning News with Kelly and
Blaze on ninety four to three WSC.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
This weekend marks the peak of the Perseed meteor shower.
This shower peaks around the night of August eleventh and
before dawn on August twelfth, so overnight Sunday night. If
the clouds cooperate, there will be the chance for good
viewing for a few days on either side of the peak,
so keep your eyes to the sky during the night
this weekend. Now. The Perceed meter shower, commonly known as

(10:45):
the PERCEEDDS, is visible annually from mid July to late August.
Although the moon will be fifty percent illuminated during the
peak of the Preceads this year, It'll set around midnight,
providing dark skies until dawn, making it ideal for media watching.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
I hope I get to see one. It's always exciting
when you see shooting stars and.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
Meteors, and especially in the showers, when you see several
all at once, pretty awesome, So be on the lookout
this weekend.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
