(00:12):
Here we go into the third andfinal hour for today of The Morning Show
with Preston Scott Thursday, June first, It is show forty nine forty of
the radio program. Grant Allen overthere, Jared's over there and with me
on the phone line. Is theentertainment editor with Breitbart dot Com. He

(00:32):
is the author of the fifty Thingsbooks, The One the Only. Jerome
Hudson, Hey, friend, howare you? I'm doing good, doing
great on this fine and lovely Thursday, this cheek Thursday, because you know,
it really would have been Wednesday ifMemorial Day wasn't Monday. That's how
it works. Dude, that's waytoo deep for me. My man,

(01:00):
Hey, I need you to weighin on one of the big stories in
the press box this morning. Whatdo you make Why did Chick fil A
hire a d EI officer? Whypromote within a guy who obviously was a
really good employee, good at hisjob? Why create this office? Is

(01:21):
the Is this the symptom of nowbeing of a company being run by a
forty three year old um? Butlikely likely? I mean you have to
remember that Chick fil A a fewyears ago came out and announced that it

(01:41):
was going to start, you know, donating to and supporting some LGBTQ pregnant
man emoji organizations. I think.I think Chick fil A canceled Salvation Army,
and Salvation Army also canceled Christian right, so that there are wars within

(02:04):
the woke war. Um we callthem alien versus predator. When one left
wing organization or person goes to battlewith another. Um, we we don't
care who wins, and in fact, everybody could lose and America wins.
Um. I mean Chick fil Ais quite interesting in that way because if

(02:30):
you, if you scour their websiteenough, you'll also see their purpose which
is to do good uh in inin all things rooted in Christianity, um
or something like that I'm paraphrasing, obviously. UM. What's happening with these
corporations is what China did a fewyears ago. They actually launched a nationwide

(02:53):
social credit score system, and wherebyChinese citizens are rewarded for going to certain
restaurants, for exercising a certain amount, for pursuing certain careers and disciplines.
They are actually rewarded as citizens. And so there are a couple different corporate

(03:17):
standards that have been rolled out inthis country that are doing the same,
and one of them is this socialequity standard. And you know, the
more pride merchandise that you sell ifyou're Disney, for instance, regardless regardless

(03:43):
of the fact that that merchandise ismanufactured in a country at sanctioned slave labor
and that punishes lesbians or bisexuals,or transigent or individuals. I know this
because I purchased button down Pride MickeyMouse shirt maybe about a year ago,

(04:11):
just to make sure that it wasmanufactured in one of the provinces in China
that routinely abuses gay people or Christians. It doesn't matter, though, because
Disney gets the points for celebrating Pridemoney. And you can't just celebrate it.
You can't just have a dude who'sclearly a dude on a bud Light

(04:38):
can. You have to outdo Target. So bud Light puts Dylan mulvaney on
the can celebrating his womanhood. Targethas to outdo bud Light. So what
do they do. They put bathingsuits for toddlers, suits for boys.

(05:00):
But the bathing suits are special becauseyou know, if your boy wants to
tuck his Genitalia. He can isthese bathing suits. So there, it
literally is though awoke Olympics at thispoint, and the rest of US,
I mean, the overwhelming majority ofthe country doesn't care who their neighbor has

(05:24):
sex with, if their neighbor hassex at all. But that's the reality
of these corporations. They're being rewardedfor going woke. Hang on a second,
I want you to hold that thought. We're gonna come right back there
because there's a ton of stories alongthis front. Jerome Hudson with US entertainment
editor with Breitbart dot Com, authorand guest friend on The Morning Show with

(05:47):
Preston Scott. Back with Jerome Hudsonfrom Breitbart dot Com, entertainment editor and
our guest here on the program.Jerome, I don't understand what's really in
it though. For Chick fil A, all it can do is damage itself

(06:09):
with its core, and its coreis massively conservative, and by all accounts,
Chick fil A has been a modelemployer for its duration. So this
is nothing but pure virtue signaling. So what could possibly they win because the
people they're signaling to are never goingto be their friends. No. I

(06:35):
have friends who have had to gothrough the diversity, equity and inclusion training.
They don't understand it. They thinkit's a waste as time. They
actually pressed and don't have good answersto my questions, like, you know,

(06:57):
this financial institution as been around fora quarter of century and you guys
just rolled out excuse me, youguys is gendered language that can't be used.
And I say, you guys justrolled this program out three years ago.
I was like, was it okaythat the company was virulently racist and

(07:20):
uninclusive for the first twenty two years? I think, Um, and they
and they have leadership people of allcolors and backgrounds. Um, I mean
it is truly you know, itmakes everyone feel good. Um, everyone

(07:40):
there is very well everyone that isthat that is supposed to feel good,
okay. UM. You know whenwhen when the standard or when the standard
of race was included in the decisionmaking of allowing someone on a college university

(08:00):
campus as a student, or hiringthem as a police or firefighter, or
awarding a contract to them. Um, the decision to solve the problem of
discriminating by race by using race asa decision point. You know, when
when people decided to do that thepeople who came up with the idea.

(08:24):
I'm pretty sure they felt pretty good. But you know what we did it
We solved racism. No, youmade it worse. Okay, and that's
Chick fil a is. You know, we have to do it. We
can't be the only company that doesn'thave a diversity equity inclusions are and policy.

(08:46):
And if we have a policy,we have to put it on our
website. We've got we got oneminute left in this segment, so let's
let's put a bow on this topicbefore we move on to something else next
segment. Let me ask you whyis boycott target the number one song on
iTunes? Well, have you heardthe song? I mean, the thing

(09:07):
slaps as the kids say, getin, get into the old Wait wait,
wait wait, I don't know thoseterms. It what it's slap,
it's slap. That's that's actually anold one. That one maybe ten years
old, maybe fifteen years old.Okay, Well you're not helping me out
then, because I gotta always wantto try to be hip. Okay,

(09:28):
when when you leave the office, grab grant, get in the g turn
it on, turn the music allthe way up, and h if it's
too loud. Or too old. That is a line. I think Brendan
Fraser said that in Airheads. Butit's it's a it's a good song,
and I think people are buying intothe idea of what you said earlier.
You know what, I don't wantto support this company. You know,

(09:52):
I can go buy from somewhere elsemy ice cream and a diapers. So
are we now seeing with Target? And Target's been at it maybe longer than
anybody, but with Target, yeah, Budweiser, Miller Light in particular,
or bud Light rather in particular. Now Chick fil A, are we now

(10:13):
seeing that they've just gone too farand people are done. People don't want
to drink politics, they don't wantto eat politics in between a biscuit in
their chicken, and they certainly I'vewalked into the Target one hundred times.
I've never actually thought what those peoplethink about taxes or race or immigration,

(10:35):
and most people don't. And yeah, it's turning people up. It'll be
a slow turning of the tide. But I do believe that bud Light wrote
the damn twenty two passed the hourof Thursday, June first, on the
Morning Show with Preston Scott, Iam Preston, that's Grant, that's Jared,
and this is Jerome Hudson, aBreitbart dot Com the entertainment editor.

(10:56):
I told you, Jerome, thisis from your own pages, so I
will not consider this a curveball underany circumstances. All Right, I just
smiled ear to ear when I sawthat Warner Brothers did not renew its agreement
with Patrise Colors. I mean, anyway, I just I think that is
a story that absolutely needs to beshared. You know, this is interesting

(11:22):
because first, Patrise Colors remind everybodyshe's one of the co founders of Black
Lives Matter, and she may noteven be famous for that. It's it's
like, yes, she's a cofounder of Black Lives Matter, but she
went on a real estate spending spreethat, at least in my opinion,

(11:46):
seemed to make her more more ofa prominent figure, because it just it's
so perfectly pointing out the brazen hypocrisyand the corruption and fatal flaw of that
organization. Like people gave money tothat organization believing that it would do good

(12:07):
in the world, but it's basedon a live roome the whole God bless
those people. Godless. Well youknow those those did say people who rooted
for Colin Kaepernick, and his entireprotest was based on on the same live
But anyway, UM, I wasthinking about this because I've been doing a
lot of radio and I'm sorry toadmit to you in front of the live

(12:30):
audience, and I have been youhaven't you unfaithful? But I think it
is what happened on This is howit happened to God with one. I
hope it was want God with one. Um. One of the questions was,
you know, somewhere along the linesof you know, is Disney going

(12:52):
to ruin everything? Because in thelatest trailer for the latest Indiana Jones movie
number five for the uninitiated, thereare attacks on capitalism and it's just so
weird because Walt Disney is one ofthe most lucrative corporations on the planet.

(13:13):
But anyway, and I I wasjust thinking about this yesterday. I was
like, um, We're going tosee Hollywood do weird things like give out
what we assume was a multimillion dollar, multi year television and film contract to
a person like the Colors, Likeshe has no discernible talents that I can

(13:37):
see, not the least of whichinvolve her being rewarded something that people dedicate
their entire lives as creatives, aswriters and content creators to get the type
of deal that one of brothers gaveher. All she did was trademark and
patent a slogan that has that hasdone a lot to defy this country on

(14:01):
the lines of race. But thatthat is Hollywood in a nutshell. Warner
Brothers looked at the Trees callers andsaid, you know what, we want
to strike a deal that allows youto create content for us that we can
share to our audience. And andthe punchline is that after signing that deal,
what happened. Ah, yes, this is this is what gave us

(14:22):
all the giggles and feel goods inthe Bright Part newsroom. This woman created
absolutely absolutely no content for Warner Brothers. Zero. Um, nothing mean.
I think I think she did theequivalent of taping a pilot episode of a
commercial. It's quite seinfeld funny inthat way. Um. But you know,

(14:46):
it's the most amazing thing I willsay about that story is while I
was looking for the photo that Ievent truly chose for that story, I
ran across a bunch of Getty imagesof Patrise callers performing. And I have
to tell you, Preston, Ihave to figure out a way that doesn't

(15:09):
break the copyright agreement. This womanhas a different side of her life than
only a few people get to enjoy. And I have to say I would
probably pay money to see one ofher shows. I mean, she's holding
a tricycle, a golden tricycle infront of her face, imposing other people
are like moving in weird ways ina lowly lit room. I mean,

(15:33):
it's some wild stuff. And sobecause the deal expired, we are we
are spared that indignity of having toeven run across it. I don't know.
I mean, maybe we would havebeen blessed with content from the co
founder of Black Lives Matter. We'llnever know. We can't. Yeah,

(15:54):
that's that's going to be one ofmy great regrets when I pass on.
All Right, all right, myfriend, thanks for the time. We'll
talk again next month. I loveyou very much. My dear friend,
Grant take care of this man.I always try
