Speaker 1 (00:03):
The Gun Writer.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
You can watch read follow his work at The Gunwriter
dot substack dot com. Lee Williams joins us, Hello sir,
how are you.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
I'm loving the theme music Man thank.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Right, going spaghetti Western all in.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
I'm dealing with it. I love it, love it.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
All right.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Uh, we've been horrified by what we know about Kamala
Harris and Tim Walls. It's I mean, it's Kamala is inepp.
Tim Walls is horrifying. But Lee, you've written a piece
lately that chronicles the real challenge that this administration would

(00:46):
would pose to people that believe and love the Second Amendment.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
I have this this administration would be I mean, I
said the same thing about Joe Biden. Joe Biden has
been the most anti gun president in the history of
the country. This administration would make him look like a piker,
like a beginner. It is incredible. First of all, you've
got Kamala, who we all know is you know, just

(01:13):
a couple of weeks before the debate that took Joe out,
they were telling Joe to get rid of her because
she's now you know, she wasn't competent to be be
as veep and now she's like they're treating her like
a cross between JFK and Pericles. I've never seen anything
like it. You know, they still don't have exactly what

(01:34):
they want to do for gun control on their website,
so I had to go to the Democratic Party platform
in twenty twenty four to see where they're at. And
basically the guiding principle from all this is there. If
they're going to be tyrannical, they're not. They're smart enough
not to put it in writing. I mean, they're calling
for background checks, assault weapon magazine bands, you name it.

(01:57):
But it's what it's the stuff that's not in new
that really concerns me. We took a hard look at
what they've done and what they've said. No doubt in
my mind, brother, they're going to go for an ar confiscation,
whether that be through some type of executive order, of
which she will issue probably more than one hundred. Joe
Biden's issued forty anti gun executive orders. She'll probably do

(02:20):
more than that. On day one. He's already said he
wants a mandatory buyback, which is a smoke screen for confiscation.
The point is, I don't think they're going to just
stop at ar's president, I think they're going to go
for other popular rifles. You're going to see defensive shotguns
and probably some handguns on there too. They're going to
try and take them all. It's going to be up

(02:41):
to us to try and stop that in the courts.
We already know that's going to happen if they get
in now. Joe Biden weaponized the ATF. I think I
think Harris and m Loon Waltz will criminalize it upon
what they've done. Remember when they had the lockdown, Waltz

(03:03):
ordered his police in Minnesota, my home state, to shoot
paintballs at any residents that were outside of their home,
right on their porch or in their yard. He has
got no issue with ordering law enforcement to break the
law and violate somebody civil rights. By the way, if
you or I did that, we'd be facing aggravated battery charges.
But for cops it's okay. So I think when they

(03:26):
get in office, if that happens, the ATF is no
one's going to be hacker than the ATF because they've
already proven more than willing to violate civil rights. They've
never heard of the constitution. So what you're going to
see is a huge uptick in these knock and talks,
and I've documented a few of them on my website
where they knock on the door try and get consent,

(03:47):
trying to scare the owner into turning something over or
allowing them to search. You're also going to see them
going absolutely crazy on licensed gun dealers and law binding
gun owners. I I hope I'm wrong. I hope this
is all moot based on what happens November fifth, but
we're preparing for it as though it's going to happen.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
It's The Morning Show with Preston Scott on US Radio
one hundred point seven, Domla Born on US Radio double
Umla aanamacity dot com.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
He's the gunwriter Lee Williams Lee.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
This is not related, but it kind of is because
it speaks to the personality and the type of an
administrator of this nation she would be. It's one of
our big stories. It's been determined that if you want
to work for the Kamala Harris campaign, you are required
to have the COVID vaccine.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Yeah, I've seen that. That says everything you need to know.
By comparison, President Trump is looking to get all those
people who are discharged from the military for not wanting
to take the vaccine back pay an apology in their job,
fact that they want it, if they want it, you know,
it's all about control with her, yes, always has been.

(05:07):
And if you look at Waltz, I mean, I don't
think that guy is sane. Okay. The fact that he
had to come out and tell the whole country I'm
such a great shot. I'm such I'm a better shot
than all of the Republican lawmakers, and I've got the
trophies to prove it. Okay. My world is full of
guys and gals who are pretty good shots. Okay. Nobody

(05:31):
talks about.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Talks about it like that, if they can do it.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
No, not at all, not at all. This guy with
his M four that he carried into battle. I mean,
as a veterans, the response from the veterans community, especially
we found out his challenge challenge coin and Sergeant major
on there as opposed to Masters Argeant, I've never seen
anything like it. I've bet I've got hundreds of hundreds

(05:59):
of emails. Mother Eve's just saying, you know, this guy's nuts,
he's a balor thief. Nothing wrong with his career. I
loved the National Guard. Great honorable service. I'm kind of
the guy. I don't care what you did in the military.
I don't care if you were Delta Force or Navy
seal or a cook. You raised your right hand, you

(06:19):
took the oath, you volunteered. Good on you. All service
is valorous. Ye, all service is honorable. But to claim
he went into combat, and then to claim he got
out as a mansarm major, and then to try and
obfuscate that, that's the worst part. If he would have
just stepped up and said, look, I'm sorry, you know

(06:40):
got the better of me. I never was in combat,
never retired as a commansar major. But he didn't, and
he dug in. And that's He's the perfect foil for
her because she's she's just a nuts.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
But let's go just a step deeper in that, and
then I want to checke Gears and go to the
ATF and our final segment, Lee. There is every reason
to be concerned that Tim Walls is actually a literal
Manchurian candidate.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
I agree. How many times has he been to China?
I don't think we know the exact number. I know
many how many times I've been to China zero. We're
talking dozens of times. The guy honeymoon there, he took
his bride to communist China. Plus he taught over there,
or at least he told people here that he was

(07:32):
teaching over there.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
Man, But how creepy is it that their wedding anniversary
was intentionally selected to honor the massacre at Tianaman Square,
so he'd never forget it?

Speaker 3 (07:47):
Yeah, this guy is beyond scary. The Manchurian candidate angle
is one that should give anybody, I don't care how
liberal you are, that should give you pauks. You should
look at that and know who exactly is he going
to be serving here? What do they have on Was
he paying for all these trips? Was he paying for

(08:10):
the hotels and all the times he went? Was he
paying for his own effort? Or did the Chinese commonists
picked that up?

Speaker 2 (08:18):

Speaker 1 (08:22):
That's how you find his work.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Subscribe to the newsletter I get when he writes something,
I get it in my email box.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
It is a great read, and we.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Have said it time and again, Lee, the Second Amendment
protects the rest of them Without the Second Amendment, we
are like any other potential third world country out there.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
I couldn't agree more. We need it. Second protects, the first, third, fourth, fifth,
you name it. It's why i work for the Second
Amendments Foundation. I'm very proud of that. We're celebrating our
fiftieth year.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
People that have a bump stock.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Now, obviously we got a bunch of listeners in Florida
and they're still illegal here, and that's a that's an
another issue we can tie into as well. But the
ATF had to back it back up a little bit
on bump stocks. Tell us about it.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Yeah, you said they got slept. I think they ate
a knuckle sandwich. The Supreme Court basically said ATF was
wrong when they recently determined that bump stocks were machine guns.
Bump Stocks are a plastic aftermarket accessory or appropriate replaces
the stock of your rifle. It's got a spring in
it when the when the rifle fires, it recoils back,

(09:29):
comes forward, hits your finger so it fires quickly. But
every round is fired by a pull, a single pull
of the trigger. It is not a machine gun. Bump
Stocks weren't an issue. They weren't an issue at all,
ATF signed letters saying they were not machine guns. Then,
of course there's that horrible massacre in Las Vegas, fifty
eight people killed, five hundred wounded. What does ATF do

(09:52):
They changed their mind. Now everybody that owns a bump
stock owns a machine gun, which is and you had
to register it or turn it in. So Supreme Court said, yeah, no,
ATF exceeded their authority. So now they got to give
them back. Anybody that turned in a bum stock under protest.

(10:12):
And I'm a member of Florida Carry, which is a
great pro gun nonprofit here in the state. We had
our bumstock that we obtained for educational purposes. We turned
it in under protest and immediately joined a lawsuit Getty's
versus ATF, along with Fire and Policy and a couple
of other planets. So now ATF has to give all
these bum stocks back. Unfortunately, ATF being ATF, they can't

(10:37):
do that, right. They can't just return the property that
is no longer theirs that the Supreme Court said they
seized and took in error. They put this ninety day
burden onto the actual owners of the bumstock. You have
ninety days to make arrangements to get your bump stock back,
and then it'll be sent to the ATF office nearest you,
and you'll be contacted when you can go and get it,

(10:59):
rather than just put the damn thing in the mail.
It's a piece of plastic, it is no longer a
machine gun. Put it in the mail, mail it out.
They can't do that because ATF you know, they can
screw up a cup of coffee. Brother, let me.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
Ask you this, do you think they actually have them
or do you think they destroyed them?

Speaker 3 (11:14):
I think they got them, you know, ATF is that
would be huge if they didn't. Well know for sure
when Florida Carrie gets ours back. But because they're illegal
in Florida, it will have to be shipped to a
board member's relative in another state where they're legal. But
we we will know whether or not that is the
exact bump stock that we submitted. But yeah, this is

(11:36):
just part of the course. ATF criminalized after market triggers.
You know, they said, oh, these triggers, they turned the
gun into a machine gun. No, no they don't. They're
gonna get slapped on that. They're getting slapped and eaten
a knuckle sandwich on their frame and receiver rule. They're
gonna they're gonna eat it on who is and who

(11:56):
is not a gun dealer. They just make up the rules,
and Congress has said, you know, that's kind of our
job ATF. Congress makes the rules, not the ATA. They
say they're rules. But brother, you violate a certain ATF rule,
like possession of the machine, you can do ten years
in a federal prison. Okay, their rules have massive penalties.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Lee, Let's spin this now to Florida. What needs to
happen or what might be happening, and perhaps you can't
even talk about it. Maybe they're lawmakers behind the scenes
willing to front this to roll back the repeal of
bump stocks in Florida.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
It'll happen. It'll happen eventually. I know there's a couple
of lawmakers that want want to clean that up. Quite frankly,
I know right now most of us are concerned about
open caerry in Florida. You have gun owners of America
have filed suit to get that repealed so we can
carry a firearm and not concealed. A lot of people,

(13:00):
well I'll never open carry. Well, you know, the Second
Amendment is not prevocated upon what you or I would
do or how we would carry. If it was everybody
would be carrying a staccato Sea two, my favorite pistol.
But I digress. So we want to get open carry
here because it is a major part of the right
to keep in bare arms. That's the biggest, the biggest

(13:20):
thing right now facing Florida.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
Yeah, it's not.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
It's not unlike almost any other civil right, like, for example,
tree speech. There are a lot of things I'm not
gonna say, but it doesn't mean I can't say them
right exactly.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
Great point. Uh, and we're seeing that. You know, once
people understand what open carry is all about, because right
now in Florida you can only carry openly if you're
fishing or camping or hunting.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
Or on your way to the gun range, exactly, all
be changed.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
All right. Uh.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
Do you have hopes that the will go we'll get
the full constitutional carry in the next legislative session.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
I do. It depends on the Sheriff's Association, and we
are talking to folks right now. The Florida Shriff's Association
is very powerful and they have come out against this.
I think we'll have good people in charge of the
House in the Senate, who may be a little more
receptive than Kathleen Pasadomolo's because she took her marching orders
from the Florida Shriff's Association. Uh. And we will be

(14:16):
lobbying them and educating them as we should.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
May I ask, are you polling the individual sheriffs versus
just their head?

Speaker 1 (14:25):
We will be nice.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
We will be because I suspect the majority is not
in favor of the position the association is taken.

Speaker 3 (14:33):
The association can be very liberal.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
And this is Florida.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
I think you're going to find majority of sheriffs are
in favor of open carry.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
All right, Lee, you're the man. Thank you brother, anytime.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
Take care.
