Hello, and welcome to the Golfing Around radio Hour. I'm
your host, Randy, that tank, tantlinger, hacker, extraordinary thrower of
very muddy turf all over the place. I have mastered
the greatest shot in golf. It is called a slice hook.
If you've never even seen such a thing, it is
(02:38):
possible because I absolutely stink at the actual physical part
of golf, but I love the game. Hey, thanks for
joining me this week on Golfing Around Redal Hour. So
excited for twenty twenty five, So much going on. We
will soon begin our Golf Around television show on the
(03:02):
mid Atlantic Sports Network. A lot of people know it
is masson m A s N MASS and Sports Network
Sunday mornings at nine thirty. We will be reaching close
to ten million households in seven states in the mid
Atlantic region. That's why they call it the mid Atlantic
(03:25):
Sports Network. MASSON really proud of our partnership with Masson.
They are the home network for both the Baltimore Orioles
and the Washington Nationals baseball teams, and we are just
honored that they are a broadcast partner for the Golfing
Around television show. We also have a Golfing Around magazine
(03:50):
and of course the radio radio radio show, which look,
I try to make this thing as exciting as I can,
and radio can often be well, you know, ho hum boring,
like listening to paint dry on your Grandpappy's barn on
a summer day in August. It's no fun to listen
(04:12):
to paint dry. So I try to spice it up
with some golf humor and music along the way. In fact,
later in the show, you know, I just can't get
away from a man. I just can't get away from
a man. John Daily, Yeah, he was out there. It
was the opening week for baseball, Opening day for baseball
(04:36):
on Thursday. John threw out the opening pitch. I want
to say. He was in Houston and it didn't go
too well.
Speaker 8 (04:45):
Yeah, he's a golfer.
Speaker 7 (04:47):
He's not a professional pitcher person for a major League
baseball team. But we are going to play down the
road in the show some John Daily music golf music.
We do that a lot in the show. We find
some new golf music and we play it because this
is a fun radio show. Okay, you guys that don't
like to have no pH un, that's fun. Why you golf?
(05:11):
This ain't the radio show for you, Okay. I come
from the Buddy Hackett Don Rickles school of humor and golf.
But yeah, we'll play some John Daily down the road
in the show. Also our third segment this week, you're
gonna be hearing some letstuck buckos. Yes, the Pittsburgh Pirates
(05:33):
and Paul Skeens have taken them mound for the season,
and the New Yucky Yankees without Billy Martin, Yogi Baron,
Joe Gerregiola. We'll be coming at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for opening
Day next weekend. So a lot going on in sports
(05:54):
right now, all right, So to tee it up in
this first segment, we're gonna uh teed up and we're
gonna grip it and rip it. We're gonna go to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Yeah, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania,
hallowed ground. Don't need to get into the Battle of Gettysburg.
(06:17):
But unbeknownst to a lot of golfers, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania has
some great golf courses, really great. One of my favorites,
the Carroll Valley Golf Course at Liberty Mountain, is just
a splendid track. You know, in western Pennsylvania, we ain't
(06:40):
like them. Golf courses down there in Florida are Arizona
that are flat and guys think they're a for a handicap. No, sirree,
we got mountains, we got hills, we got Dale's and uh,
that guy that thinks he's a fore handicap down on
a flat golf course in Florida soon finds out that
when you have to use every club in your bag,
(07:03):
and when you have to make uphill, downhill lying shots,
you're more like an eleven to fifteen handicap, not that four.
But really love the Carroll Valley Resort at Liberty Mountain.
Just a beautiful, tranquil setting in the rolling hills of
(07:23):
central Pennsylvania. In Gettysburg. And so let's go talk with
Eric and rob Over at the Calieru Valley Resort in
Gettysburg and learn a little bit more about this beautiful
resort that you need to get to.
Speaker 9 (07:39):
Hey, welcome to this week on golf in Around.
Speaker 7 (07:42):
We're here in beautiful Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and we're gonna explore
the Carroll Valley Golf Course at Liberty Mountain. You know,
when Golf Digest gives you four stars, you're doing something right.
Speaker 9 (07:55):
The incredible golf course here at Carroll Valley, well it's.
Speaker 7 (07:58):
Just down the road from getty's Burg, Pennsylvania, but it's
incredible with all its beautiful flowers, rolling hills. Well again,
Golf Digest has given it four stars. So we're going
to tee it up this week on Golfing Around from
the Carroll Valley Golf Course at Liberty Mountain.
Speaker 9 (08:16):
But here's the real treat for you.
Speaker 7 (08:18):
You could be playing Carroll Valley this August tenth and eleventh.
Register to play in the Team USA National Championships this
August in Carroll Valley in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, playing one of
five flights. No USGA gain, handicap required. Win your flight
in Gettysburg, you'll be crowned at Team USA National champion
(08:41):
and you'll win a trip to Saint Andrews, Scotland in
twenty twenty five to play for Team USA. You know,
this is our third season for the Team USA versus
Team Scotland Amateur Golf Championships. And I can tell you
this all of our past national champions the day we
took to the RNA Building to stand on the famous
(09:02):
Swilcan Bridge, well it was the moment of their lives. Look,
if you want to be standing on the bridge in
Saint Andrews next April twenty twenty five, register to play
in the Team USA National Championships in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania at
the beautiful Carroll Valley Golf Course. All right, let's teed
up this week on Golfing Around. It's gonna be a
(09:22):
great show. We're gonna explore the Carroll Valley Golf Course
and we're gonna take you on a trip of a
lifetime to Saint Andrews and follow Team USA. Well they
were just there a few months ago. Hey, welcome to
this week on Golfing Around. I'm here in beautiful destination,
Gettysburg exploring the Gettysburg Golf Trail. You know, The Carroll
(09:43):
Valley Golf Course at Liberty Mountain is absolutely stunning. This
eighteen hole golf course is set between the rolling hills.
Nature abounds here. So let's teet up on golfing around
from the Carroll Valley Golf Course at Liberty Mountain. All right,
it's time to we go golfing around at Carroll Valley Golf
Course at Liberty Mountain here in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, part of
(10:06):
the Gettysburg Golf Trail.
Speaker 9 (10:08):
Eric's the new pro in the area.
Speaker 7 (10:09):
Came down from New York and New Jersey.
Speaker 9 (10:11):
How you loving country living as I call it?
Speaker 3 (10:14):
Loving it?
Speaker 10 (10:14):
You know, a lot more slow faced down here. Everyone's
very friendly, so I can't ask for much more. And
we got a beautiful golf course here as well, so
it's perfect.
Speaker 7 (10:23):
Tell me a little bit about the scenery and topography
around here. Tom's River coming through the golf.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
Course yep, So it's a good spot.
Speaker 10 (10:28):
We're right here in the valley and Carroll Valley, so
we have mountain views all around us.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
Like I said, Tom's River runs.
Speaker 10 (10:34):
Through a couple of the holes here, so we get
some cool creeks kind of running through some greens obviously
the huge pond over our shoulders here around nine and ten.
Speaker 3 (10:44):
Another kind of beautiful spot here on the golf course.
Speaker 10 (10:46):
But it's a good one, you know, not quite mountain golf,
but got some elevation changes, you know, kind of kind
of rolling hills here and there.
Speaker 3 (10:53):
So it's a good spot.
Speaker 7 (10:54):
Number nine is an example of that, up the hill,
Number ten, down the hill. Beautiful golf course. You know,
uniquely on most golf courses, Eric, as you well know,
you only have four par threes.
Speaker 9 (11:07):
Unique challenge here at carl Valley.
Speaker 10 (11:09):
Yeah, so here we actually have six par threes, five
par fives and then obviously the remaining you know.
Speaker 9 (11:15):
We go with fours.
Speaker 3 (11:16):
We go with par fours.
Speaker 9 (11:18):
Oh I get a cookie for that, guess.
Speaker 7 (11:20):
So look, Eric, and are going to head out to
the golf course now and look at and play some
of these wonderful signature holes here. Way, do you see
number three? Just a Jim Dandy of a hole with
the flowers. In fact, I want to talk about the
flowers a little bit. A new addition here at the
golf course at Carroll Valley, at Liberty mountain flowers.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
Behind us right now, almost Augusta S.
Speaker 9 (11:40):
They're all over the place.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
Yeah, definitely.
Speaker 10 (11:42):
Know they put in a lot of hard work here
over the last couple of years.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
Are you getting these flower beds set in?
Speaker 10 (11:47):
They change the designs, you know, every year to kind
of bring a new look to the course. And like
you said, number three one of my favorite holes here.
A little par three kind of reminds me a lot
of number twelve in Augusta. You know, a little creek
running in front of the green flowerbed behind and that
signature green shape.
Speaker 3 (12:02):
It's a it's a good spot.
Speaker 7 (12:04):
You know what. They do great weddings here at Carroll Valley,
at Liberty Mountain. You know, the Liberty Mountain resort itself
has how many.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
Rooms, one hundred and sixteen, one.
Speaker 9 (12:13):
Hundred and sixteen rooms.
Speaker 7 (12:14):
They do weddings, they do well anything, family reunions, all
that stuff. But it's great if you have a bunch
of friends coming for the wedding or the family reunion
party up at the hotel, then play some great golf.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
Absolutely. Yeah.
Speaker 10 (12:27):
So you know, we have some new rooms, some rooms
that have been existing here, but a great spot for wedding,
great destination.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
You know, if you're in the area. A couple hour drive,
come out.
Speaker 10 (12:36):
Swimming pools galore pools, indoor outdoor.
Speaker 7 (12:40):
What's the one with a salt there's a salt pool,
saltwater pool or outdoor pools, salt water pool.
Speaker 9 (12:44):
Oh I love it baby.
Speaker 7 (12:46):
All right, Well it's time to tee it up on
Carroll Valley golf Course at Liberty Mountain. Well, you'll tee
it up because you know, I'm not that good unless
you're gonna give me four strokes a hole.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
Hey, you do that, you might. You probably beat you today.
Speaker 9 (12:57):
One hundred bucks a hole.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
There we go.
Speaker 11 (13:00):
So we're in southern south central PA, located in Adams County,
almost a mile or so from the Maryland line, right
off of Route fifteen, not too far away from Route
eighty one, so there's a lot of different ways to
get to us pretty easily. Gatsburg is a great destination
(13:20):
for a lot of reasons. And again, a lot of
guests stay here at the resort because we're only about
ten miles away. And again we offer a great stay
and play golf opportunity here. Customize the stay and play
golf packages to each group. You can be as little
as one day one day of golf, or you could
(13:41):
be here a week and play seven or eight rounds
of golf. We have one hundred and sixteen rooms here
in the hotel, a real great restaurant, and beautiful eighteen
hole golf course that lends itself to the stay and
play business. Golf course is located here in the valley,
Carroll Valley, and right along the mountain side, we have
(14:03):
a beautiful picturesque par three, number three, it's framed by flowers.
We've got some real nice holes along the edge of
the mountain side, number sixteen, number fourteen. Our great views.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
If a golf game's not great, you can certainly so.
Speaker 12 (14:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (14:23):
I simply can't say enough about the Carroll Valley Golf
Course at Liberty Mountain in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Really just a beautiful,
beautiful facility, tranquil setting, just located, oh I don't know,
fifteen miles from the heart of Gettysburg. Perfect for any
(14:43):
family that is considering a trip to Gettysburg to explore
the area. Edging them of ate the kids about the
historical significance in America's development with the Battle of Gettysburg,
then you know the whole family if they're golfers, I mean,
(15:04):
we know kids are golfing crazy these days. What a
beautiful weekend to head to the Carroll Valley Resort in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
Take in all the monuments, take a tour of the battlefield,
play some golf, use their two great poles, the one
(15:24):
I absolutely love when I'm over there. It's right at
the base of their ski slope there at Liberty Mountain,
and it just beautiful overlooks the bottom of the hill.
They've got concerts during the summer. Just so many great
things going on there at the Carroll Valley Resort at Liberty.
Speaker 12 (15:45):
Mountain in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. First gone seven years ago. I
hit a ball into the water. Yeah, well that's an
old story, as old as the tale of Time. Me
tank hitting a ball into the water goes every place but.
Speaker 7 (16:03):
Where I want it. All right, When we get back,
we're gonna talk a little bit about the inaugural season
of the TGL. Was it as captivating for you as
it wasn't for me? I guess when you have that
much money, you can build a million data indoor putting course.
(16:26):
I don't know, you know, it was never a video
game guy. So maybe the younger kids are into it.
I don't know. We'll try to find some stats about
viewership for the TGL. We got some John Daily music
coming up in the next episode. Yeah, John Daly, jd
He sings. Man. If you didn't know that you're missing
(16:46):
out on something, then later on in the show, we're
gonna be talking.
Speaker 8 (16:50):
Let's tuck buckos.

Hey, welcome back to the Golfing Around Radio Hour. I'm
your host, Randy the Tank Taantlinger. Appreciate you guys tuning in.
Fox Sports Net Wheeling Pittsburgh one O three point nine
f M are available on the iHeart National podcast system.
Proud member of the iHeart family is the Golfing Around
(22:59):
Radio Hour. Appreciate you guys tuning in. All right, let's
take a look at the TGL the Tomorrow Golf League.
The twenty twenty whatever season is behind us. The inaugural season.
The brain chat of one, Tiger Woods and Rory Machelroy
(23:22):
combined simulator golf with live action chipping and putting. Players
t off, take fairway shots, then they go into live
action chipping and putting. So what was your take on
the TGL? Did you find it quirky? Did you enjoy it?
(23:49):
A lot of people didn't like the announcers, Matt Barry
and Marty Smith. They said they were like used car
salesman are listening to a bad W and W E
broadcast on ESPN there, you know. And Marty actually took
some criticism because he actually made the statement, what is
(24:11):
more nerve racking watching these guys try to win a
DGL championship? Are winning a major championship? Come on, man,
you can't even say that with a straight face. I mean,
the Open Championship is at Royal Port Rush in Ireland
this year. You're gonna tell me or Augusta is in
(24:32):
a few weeks that simulator golf on any level is
more exciting and thrilling than that. I guess for Billy
Herschel if he's playing, and Tiger if they've got a
gambling addiction, not saying they do, but the thrill of
(24:53):
dopamine rush maybe, but it ain't no nowhere near a
major championship on Marty Berry, no Marty Smith for ESPN.
But the ratings were there, and week two Tiger played
over a million people turned in to see it. Tune
(25:14):
didn't assure their average over fifteen matches was about half
a million people. I don't know how much money was
spent on advertising and how the ad agencies aggregate those
things and say that was a success. We had a
half a million people. Yeah, but Larry, we spent a
(25:37):
billion dollars building the thing. I know, but you know,
what else are we going to do with money? Feed
homeless people? You get the point there?
Speaker 3 (25:50):
Now.
Speaker 7 (25:50):
It was imaginative of times. If you saw it mid season,
they had to hammer throw the mallet throw, uh huh.
It was interesting. You'd get a team declining and you know,
a team would throw or rubber hammer out there and
(26:12):
the other team could accept the challenge and if they
made the shot it was two points. If they declined,
the other team got a point. I don't know.
Speaker 8 (26:22):
It seemed kind of contrived.
Speaker 7 (26:26):
At times, but again, I come from a generation where
we were still using still cleats, not these fancy shoes
you guys got today. No, it was a piece of
leather with steel mounted on the bottom. Your back and
your feet hurt for six years after you played around
(26:46):
with golf. I do appreciate technology. I do like indoor simulators.
And this is really what this is. At the heart,
simulators are hopping up coast to coast, big cities, little cities,
five six bays or just one simulator. Gulf is a reality.
(27:14):
More so, it's an economic reality for those who in
put the investment into a simulator. Tiger Woods probably will
never win another major. I can't say that with absolutism,
because as we know, Jack the goat at forty six
(27:37):
won the Masters, and Tiger keeps himself in good shape.
But the point is, it ain't the Tiger Woods in
nineteen ninety eight or ninety ninety nine, and two thousand,
two thousand and one, two thousand and two, two thousand
and three. You get the point. The best of Tiger
(27:58):
is dumb. And to define golf, it is a club
hitting a ball. Does it matter the venue, it is
still a ball being hit by a wellstrup club face
In doing what you wanted to do. Whether you take
(28:21):
that ball and club from Augusta or to the Sofi simulator,
there is skill required. Tiger's impact on the TGL was significant.
One million viewers tuned in week two to see him.
(28:44):
It gives him a new edge, It gives him a
new realm of golf to play in and have fun.
I don't believe for a second when he grabbed the
pitching wedge for a four hundred and seventy seven yard
shot that that was not an intentional to get some buzz,
get some ratings going, get some interest. You mean Tiger's fallible? Yes, yes,
(29:10):
he is on many levels. In fact, you know I
can see in year two with them coming up with.
Speaker 8 (29:21):
The Legends team, the Legends.
Speaker 7 (29:24):
Team Jack Nicholas, John Daly and Gary player Jack Nicholas,
Gary player John Daily, the Legends team versus Ricky Fowler,
(29:44):
Herschel and Rory Man. Who wouldn't want to see that?
Mark my words? That's coming something to that ephesis are
two Legends teams?
Speaker 8 (29:58):
All right?
Speaker 7 (29:58):
John Daly your captain, who you get? Give me the
Golden Knight. He's in better shape than me obviously, Jack Nicholas,
The Honors are you who you get? Why won't John
Daly He's captain to the other team you moore on?
Oh boy, I don't know. Gimme Lee Trevino. You know
(30:21):
that's coming, right, it has to come. The days are
growing shorter for all of us. So the TGL made
its impact. Its ratings weren't through the roof, nor are
they horrible. So congratulations to the TGL for a successful
(30:46):
first season. I really want to see the legends event happen.
I haven't seen anything like that, but you know that's
what they got to be thinking.
Speaker 8 (30:55):
All right, I'm Tank.

(32:39):
people of Iceland got me free airfare on icelandic Air.
So we were as what was called the the what
was it, oh, the midnight open in Achery up north
where the sun never goes down on this specific day
in Iceland and you don't tee off until men. It
(33:00):
was incredible. But before that we had dinner and drinks
and anyway, they made the mistake of putting the CEO
of icelandic Care right in front of me, and you know,
I gave him the old donracles tank routine, and he
(33:21):
was great about it. You know, I've always said, you know,
if you can make people in foreign countries laugh, which
I have, they've laughed at me mostly, but it was
great fun at the in Iceland. Then if you ever
get the chance. Down south in Iceland, they have the
(33:41):
volcano open. In nineteen seventy two on an island off
of Iceland. The island erupted because it was actually a
volcano underneath it, and they had to evacuate the island.
Thank god, nobody died and half of the volcano about
(34:03):
a billion years ago that was there. Another volcano fell
into the ocean. So the Icelandic people said, this is
going to make a great Lynx golf course, and they did.
They built a links golf course in half of the
volcano with the ocean right there. And I don't even
know how high the walls of the volcano were, they
(34:26):
were massive. And just to close out the story, so
like they paired me with the Arnold Palmer of Icelandic Golf,
their greatest professional golfer of all time. And let's just
say I had a good time with the people on
the island. The night before drinking for the Volcano Festival,
(34:50):
and I think we teed off at eight, and I
went to bed about four and was not playing my
best golf and said, had something to the affect to
the gentleman, a really nice gentleman. Huh, I'm not that
good at a golfer to begin with, and I'm long over.
And he looked at me in a very stoic voice
(35:12):
and said, I don't know about the hangover, but you're
right about not being a very good golfer. Then he
smiled at me because he got my sense of humor. Anyway,
you're listening to the Golfing Around radio hour, so check

Golf'sman Betty, Betty good to the tank and I thank
God and my Savior Jesus above for the incredible golf
journey I have been able to go on. All my
(36:38):
talents are lack thereof. And my loft loft loft. If
you know what that means is you should be laughing
by now. Is due to the man upstairs, no doubt
about it. You know we're talking about Cragan's Golf Resort
in this show, Kragan's Golf Resort. You can check them
out at c r A g Uns dot com, Kragans
(37:03):
dot com and you're gonna learn all about their incredible
golf resort. Lake Life is a tranquil life. Lake Life
is a peaceful life. What he got worried about? Man,
chill out. There's the lake. There's the lake golfs. Relax,
(37:24):
have a cigar, having Arnold Palmer, have a titos, Relax,
have a titos, and relax and look at Gaul Lake,
even if you play bad golf on all the great
golf they have there. At Cragan's Golf Resort in Brainerd, Minnesota,
about two hours north of Minneapolis, we were talking about
(37:44):
their too eighteens, the Lameman eighteen and the Dutch eighteen,
both courses originally designed by Robert Trent Jones. I believe
in the early nineteen nineties. Well, driving on into the
twenty first entry is Karagan's Golf Resort. They're not resting
on their laurels. They have brought in Minnesota native Garrison
(38:10):
Keeler to redesign. That was a joke if you followed it.
So that's a really deep inside joke too. Man, if
you get it, you get it. If you don't, I
cannot help you. You will have to google who Garrison Keeler,
the acclaimed award winning writer from Minnesota who fabulously in
(38:32):
his book Lake Wobegone Days, illustrated Minnesota life and its
nuances and quirkiness. But Tom Layman was brought in to
redesign the Kragan's golf courses and he's done a great job.
We talked about on how whole number four, five, six,
and seven they were basically redos, creating longer greens, redesigning
(38:55):
holes just incredible. We talked about holding a six beautiful
par three. You'll be able to see the video online
on Facebook and YouTube here in a couple of weeks
when we're done editing it, editing all of it. Just
an incredible I mean the land is used to perfection
(39:18):
on all the holes. Whole number eleven, the one that
was right outside of our condo house for the week.
Like I said, I ran first thing I did. I
saw a group of golfers out there when we checked
in and grabbed a white wine and a cigar, went
out and said, hey, how you doing tank from Pittsburgh.
These guys have been coming to Cragans for twenty years,
(39:40):
twenty years and Wisconsin guys, they got plenty of golf
in Wisconsin. They're coming to Kragans. What does that tell you?
Whole number eleven, great hole, uphill, narrow fairway, incredible green complex.
And I said in two earlier segments that you know
(40:02):
testament of a golf courses. You might play it and
you know I played it. Check it off, or or
like a syrene bringing in a ship along the outer banks.
Get closer, get closer, there's a lighthouse. Next thing you know,
it's wrecked and you got destroyed the boat. There is
(40:26):
a Sirenes call here in the Layman eighteen. Not that
it'll wreck you, but what it will do is it
will challenge your game. It will force you to go
to your toolbox and use every club from the wedge
(40:47):
to the fairway, wood off the tees to crafting shots.
It will make you do that. It is incredible the
Layman eighteen. But the whole leven was just incredible. I
forget which hole it was, just oh sixteen, the finishing
(41:12):
stretch on the tom lane in eighteen and again they
have two great eighteen holders there at Craigan's Golf Resort, Brainerd, Minnesota.
Whole number sixteen just unbelievable. Part four overlooking at lake
in the entire finishing stretch for the back nine that
elevated tea, I don't even know, two hundred yards above
(41:37):
the fairway. It's a long force carrying. You know, there's
a fairway bunker that I almost caught. I finally had
a good drive. I turned, got that shoulder turning all
the way through and the right shoulder was pointing at
the target. I got a bad lower back. I broke
(41:59):
it in the army. H A turn is not something
I do well. But I was well lubricated at that
point and finally hit a good shot in Jack, the
director of golf up there, said hey, you finally got one. Yeah,
I did, and it felt good, and I think I
(42:19):
parted that home. I had four pars. What's the card say?
You had four pars? Quietly, ye went about my business. Uh.
But the Layman eighteen is just gorgeous. Uh at Cragan's Uh.
And I've left very little time in the show. We're
down to about four minutes left. I guess we're gonna
(42:40):
remember I told you throughout the show. You know, mark
of a good golf course is when you when you
say to yourself, I gotta play that thing again. We're
gonna have to go back to Craigans next week too,
so tune in. You know, we can talk about the uh,
the Layman eighteen again. Uh. We can talk about the eighteen.
(43:02):
Tom Lahman put his touches on it. You know the
nice thing about the the Dutch eighteen is they're adding
another nine eighteen nineteen twenty two, twenty seven holes is
gonna be the Dutch eighteen. And the good folks there
(43:24):
at Craigan's Golf Resort in Brainerd, Minnesota, took us on
a walking tour driving tour of the red nine is
they're calling it, and it is gonna be spectacular. I
forget which hole it was on the nine, geez on
(43:45):
the red nine the new one. I want to say
it was six or seven. That just is gonna be
an unbelievable greens complay. Now. I hate using the word
lynx esque. I think it's a garbage, nonsense word in golf.
(44:10):
You got to have an ocean besides you to be
a lynx golf course. Calling the links at Huckleberry Farms
in landlocked Nebraska is idiotic. Lynks esque If you can't
go to a thesaurus and come up with some better
words to use, and I'm going to have to amonish
myself
