in Baltimore?

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Right?

Speaker 3 (00:41):
It is Baltimore, I believe me.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Yeah, it was Baltimore. Yeah, it was. It was great, Sean,
we met a lot of people. My office staff, we're
kind of making jokes there. Every once in a while
a pretty rabbit fan would show up, where's Kevin?

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Where's Kevin y?

Speaker 2 (01:00):
But uh, yeah, it was fun meeting guys from all
around the United States, uh, and the world. There are
some guys from UK there that follow me and and
so it was, Uh, it was it was great, just
touch as kind of you know, the joke about social
media is, oh, that's not real people, you know, Well,
now they're real people and events like this kind of

(01:23):
reveal that, yeah, you are interacting with real people. So
it's pretty positive culture in the Instagram world of of abriculture.
So it's it was good to connect with people.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
That's great to hear you mentioned Instagram. Of course you
can follow Kevin on Instagram. Also got a great YouTube
channel as well. Just look for Kevin Ham Game of Trees.
You can find him there. And uh, you brought some
axes and I know you brought some bio char uh
body soap and uh apparently not surprisingly a very popular

(01:56):
item at the at the expow, wasn't it.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Yeah. Yeah, some folks ended up, you know, using it
in the hotel right away, and we got some some
reports back that yeah, that was great stuff. One guy said,
I'm gonna have to buy a whole box.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Yeah, so yeah, it's a good time to be as
we look of course towards the holidays as well. Folks
looking to get some great gifts and also something nice
for yourself just had on over to Game of Trees
dot com. You can actually order that biochart body body
bar one right now.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Oh it's two for oh but this these are the time.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
I want we shift you too.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
All you know what I'm doing today.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
I always for folks that don't know, I always I
always do when he does the buy one, get one,
I always buy a stack. So definitely do that as well.
Head on over to Game of Trees dot com. That's
Game of Trees dot com. Obviously that's the t c
i A the expo that you were at, the Tree
Care Industry and understanding that Hams Haarborcare, you guys are

(02:53):
accredited and this is not something that that is given lightly.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
There is.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
There is a lot that goes into earning that accreditation.
It's a very important accreditation. Let's talk about what that
means Kevin, when we talk about being an accredited, an
accredited arborist.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Yeah, so it's actually you know, accredited tree care company.
And so Tree Care Industry Association deals more with the company.
H International site of ourbculture is where we get our certification.
So my board Certified Master Arborous Credential comes from is
a UH Tree Care Industry TCIA is is the entity

(03:36):
that accredits the company, and so there's all kinds of
you know, we have to be all properly ensured they
verify that we're doing our our truck maintenance and you know,
our our pre trip inspections and that sort of thing.
And and then in the office right now, Eli is
over at the office with this auditor and they check

(03:57):
to see that we're keeping our data correct, you know,
like good business practices, uh, that ensure the longevity of
a company. And so it's really a third party accountability
to all things business. And it's things that that you know,

(04:18):
every company should do, but few companies do. And honestly,
if if we didn't have the the third party, there
are some of these things that we we wouldn't do.
You know, it's just because they're they're they're details to
get lost when you're you're chasing the and spinning the

(04:38):
plates of of running a business. And and so it's
just that that third party accountability that that forces the hand,
so to speak, to make you do the things you
should be doing anyways. And and so it's a great thing,
and it's a little intimidating to a lot of companies

(04:59):
because it it is something that makes you you do
something that you know, many people might think as always
the time, but really it's very important to running a
proper business. And and so it's a very valuable uh
service that they provide there and we have to you know,
pass a site visit every three years, so no doubt

(05:23):
there will be an item here or there that we
have to follow up on in the next couple of
weeks to shore up different things and and so it's
a great, great thing and it causes us to be
a better company.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
You know, it's it's you think about that, as you know,
is having some you know, an outside group of expertise
in the industry that that you're in. Having that opportunity
to have them take a look at you. Obviously, as
you point out, it's it's they they what every few
years they come and do this. It's the great feedback
that you get. We think about having that accreditation and

(05:59):
having that understanding is you know, there are some things
that are obviously in your business. Of course, you need
you need trucks, you need equipment, you need training, you
need all of these things. But unfortunately, you know, running
a business day in and day out, that stuff can
can get you know, certain things can kind of fall
off to the wayside. Having those having those people come

(06:19):
in and kind of update everything is such a great benefit,
not only for Hams Arborcare, but for your customers as well,
and Kevin, when we talk about some great benefits and
some of the great things going on at Ham's Arborcare.
We were just talking in the last segment about of
course winter coming and the weather making the change, and
things are going to get get cool around the house
and around the shop for folks that have had a chance.

(06:41):
Of course, you've got the new building going up right
a Highway sixteen and Highway twenty two. And for folks
that pass by that intersection in the coming weeks, they're
going to get a good look look at a new
product you guys will be carrying at Hams Arborcare. Let's
talk about the outdoor boilers that you guys are having
delivered very soon.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Yeah, you know, and and technically it'll be under the
Game of Trees entity. But who who who cares about that?

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Your accountants probably, But that's about.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
My accountants probably, but my insurance agents. So we did
find out that that treecare company insurance companies don't like
to ensure product life. Sure, but I digress. Yeah, So
there's gonna be three boilers sitting out there at the
intersection right off the on ramp to Highway sixteen the

(07:32):
off ramp to Highway sixteen going westbound, and they'll be visible.
We'll be moving our sign, the sign that we have
on the property is actually in a portion of the
property that will be selling, so we'll kind of move
our future home sign, uh to you know, closer to

(07:53):
that that end on the south end. But yeah, so
those souls will be they're visible, and they're they're available,
you know, and and we'll we'll participate in in helping
those get get delivered should somebody want one. But they're
a great they're a great outdoor boiler. Every tree guy
should have an outdoor boiler, and uh we we deliver

(08:15):
would actually you know to various people that have outdoor boilers.
And the beauty of parting to mean is they're they're
very efficient stove and so you you know, when you
can say you can burn half as much wood, that's
that's pretty significant. When you're talking you know, five six
full cords of wood and you're cutting that down to three,

(08:39):
that that's pretty significant.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
That's pretty it's pretty ye, it's pretty amazing too. And
you talk about having those available for folks through Game
of Trees mentioned the SOAPA as well at Game of Trees.
One thing I want to ask you to before we
wrap up this week, Evian, you brought it. You brought
some of those cool axes out. Uh did you come
back with you?

Speaker 2 (08:58):
Yeah, those were and after a lot of people stopping
and they're really a high quality thing and they're they're
you know, they're not They don't come cheap. They ranged
anywhere from one hundred and fifty dollars to six hundred
dollars and we still have the six hundred dollars one left.
If that got touched by a lot of people, are like,

(09:18):
look it as a short, little sadill axe, double bladed, beautiful, beautiful.
And then we put the Game of Trees. We lasered
in the Game of Trees logo right on the throat,
both sides of the throat of the axe, so it
kind of looks cool.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
You shared with me a picture of some of them
as you were getting them loaded up and ready for transport.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
And they are beautiful stuff.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
As we talked with Kevin this morning speaking of beautiful things, trees,
if you've got if you got trees in the yard,
you want to make sure that they're going to be
beautiful for generations to come, or you're looking to do
a planting. Kevin and the team at hams Arborcare would
