as a user of the biochar soapat Game of Trees dot com. Also
some really great great things like tshirts and other stuff available over on that

(00:56):
website. Telphen number eight six sixfive nine six five three nine six.
That's eight six six five nine sixfive three nine six. Kevin, how
are you doing this morning? I'mdoing great, Sean, And I'm holding
in my hand an activated charcoal labelwho that we're gonna have on Game of
Trees too. Really yeah, Soyou make your own, if your master

(01:19):
gardener, you can make your own, uh concoction of composts really charcoal.
Oh that is that is really reallycool to see. And I know with
the with the biochar body bar shampooas mentioned, I've used it. I've
I've got some folks that are areusing it as well. And just the
feedback is phenomenal. It's not onlyit's it's it's awesome that an awesome product

(01:44):
and great that that that you havethat available, but just the to just
to speak about results and actually howit works. I mean it is you
feel very clean and like I say, you smell very very nice as well.
So yeah, and we're getting we'regetting comments back from our risk on
Instagram. Hey by the way, actually YouTube a guy who was like,

(02:04):
oh, by the way, yeahthat's great. Aw you know what it's
gonna be funny is ever so oftenI listened to I listened to a bunch
of different podcasts and things, andthere's this there's this one that I listened
to called How I Built This,And they interview like all these different entrepreneurs
and in these different businesses. Andwhat's funny is sometimes some of these some
of these folks, they're you know, their main business they launched, like

(02:28):
kind of like a secondary kind ofline, and then that takes off as
well, and you're like, oh, my goodness, because it feels like
I've got to tell you something,Kevin h in the year if you would
have asked me, like a yearor two ago, Hey, would would
folks be talking about Game of Treesand Kevin Ham's body soap? Would they
would that? Would that be aconversation saying I don't I don't even know
what you're talking about. Probably not. Yeah, today, it's like it's

(02:51):
it is literally one of the oneof the most common questions I get from
people is about it. So again, it's it's really really cool to see.
And of course you can order onlineGame of Trees dot Com and AST.
Kevin mentioned more to the activated charcoalline of course with that biochar not
just the soap, but of coursethey use it with trees. Also some
great options for gardeners as well.Coming out speak of great things. It

(03:15):
all supports the Guatemala Project. Ohyeah, we're gonna let's we'll get into
that too a little, because Iknow that that's a big, big passion
of yours and some great stuff youguys have done. We'll talk about the
Guatemala project as well as as wellas needlecast and some other things. But
first off, Kevin, as weas we look at kind of where we

(03:36):
are seasonally, fall will be heresoon, and some people are going,
oh no, some people are goinghooray. But the thing is it is
a really good time right now, between now and through fall, a really
good time to get a tree planted, isn't it? It absolutely is.
Uh you know, the fall isgreat time. Usually moisture is up and

(04:00):
and that is the case right now. We've got some great moisture and our
our nurses looking bright and lively andh it was sure surely a hard year
to begin, you know, holdingthe nursery, It certainly was. It
was like every every week we're justafraid that this drought is gonna you know,

(04:24):
Savate ours our entire project, andwe were always working on the irrigation
and making sure we were covered. And there was zero great you know,
there's no rain. You go fora four day week and it's like a
man, if something goes wrong ona four day weekend, you know,
things could look tough on Monday. But uh, yeah, we've we've kind

(04:45):
of ridden that storm out and nowwe've got solid moisture and we've got our
irrigation system high and tight, andwe're ready to really put some trees in.
So in time of year to doit. And for people that that
don't think about it, I know, obviously spring we're all very excited to
plant trees, and you know, get out there the fall months. And

(05:09):
for people that are are wondering aboutthat putting a tree in and spring or
fall, I mean, it's it'sit's going to do. And we talk
about legacy trees and some of theother other options you have at at at
at Ham's Arbor. Care for thosetrees is it's really you're really getting You're
making that that initial investment in somethingthat's going to be in your yard,

(05:31):
on your property for generations to comeand getting it off to that great start.
It's not going to matter that Iplanted in spring, did I planted
and fall and fifty one hundred years, even in ten years, Nobody it's
something. It's not going to bepart of it. Even that conversation isn't,
Kevin, No, it's not youknow, in ten years you're gonna
have a Soli tree. And that'swhy I like to tell people if uh,
you know, as as time goeson, as the Legacy Tree Nursery

(05:56):
becomes more and more established, ofcourse we're going to have large stree.
Of our trees right now are aboutinch and a half in caliper, But
in ten years, I mean, they're gonna be the same as something that's
too inch caliper today. I meanit's it's what's the tree going to be
in ten years? That's that's whatyou want to know. And we're going

(06:16):
to give it a five year warrantyand we're going to touch it every year,
you know, to nobody's doing that. You know, nobody is doing
that. And I even look atsome of the trees that we planted and
you know, and the people didn'tproactively call us back, and then we
get back in the yard and it'slike, oh man, we should have
been we should have been on this, you know, on this training pruning.

(06:36):
And now you know this this program, this Legacy Tree program is going
to you know, kind of forcethat hand that we're going to be training
these trees for five years and thenwe're gonna we're gonna send out a renewal.
And of course it's always in thechoice of the client, but every
two years that tree should be trainedand and it's just it's not that big

(06:59):
of a deal, but it's justlittle little cuts that make the world of
difference in the life of that tree. And and so we're we're excited that's
going to become a big you know, pruning training type pruning is going to
be part of our renewal program. You know, we put out renewals for
our Pliant healthcare and stuff, andyou know, for healthcare, you know,

(07:23):
the structure of a tree is huge. You know, you see a
storm come through, it's not justany old willy nilly branch that's breaking.
If it's not a tornado, it'ssomething that was predisposed to breaking and usually
something that could have been corrected atsome time in the life of that tree.
And and that's what we're going tobe doing, is proactively looking after

(07:45):
our clients trees and making sure thatwhen we were in that yard, we
said, you know, this tree, this tree could use something in two
years and it's going to be onthe renewal list and you're going to get
an ovacation with a with a quoteand probably a discount potential. And you
know, to proactively take care ofyour tree. And so that's that's something

(08:09):
that we're taking on to be oneof our responsibilities to keep people aware of
their trees, because it's easy. You turn your back on it and all
of a sudden it's broken in halfand laying in your yard and you're like,
how did this happen. One ofthe things that's interesting is, you
know, as I think as weget a little bit older, a little
bit wiser in our years, weremember, you know, the importance of

(08:30):
being proactive. We think of likewith our cars, like our first our
first car we ever owned, youknow, maybe forgetting about oil changes and
those type of things. And aswe start to get older, we're like,
you know what spending a couple ofbucks annually or every couple of every
couple of months to get that oilchange, Boy, does that really save
it? The same thing with treecare, and of course that's a great

(08:52):
thing with the Legacy Tree Program atHams Arbor Care, they will be helping
maintain and helping that tree grow, and of course working and being proactive with
that tree. So it's going tobe successful, that's going to last a
lifetime and look beautiful for you.Learn more online hams Arborcare dot com.
That's hamms Arborcare dot com. Iknow we've got news coming up here in
just a couple of minutes. Andone of the stories in the news this

(09:13):
morning is about the spongey moths gypsymoths, if if, if you will,
don't mean to be offensive, butI think for a lot of people
mentally, that's that's the term thatthey're most familiar with. But we're calling
them spongey moths these days, andthey are they are ricking havoc enough that
there that it's making the news. And Kevin, you can help people fight

(09:33):
back, can't you. Yes,And if you had that experience this year
where where they were up or ifyou even saw a few and say,
oh, I don't have as badas doing so. Uh, they go
exponential very quickly. Every egg masshas a thousand plus eggs and and there

(09:54):
are there are some situations that we'realmost complete defoliation of large tracks of four
Stephen and and so those folks youneed to be on the lift to be
proactively sprayed next year for the BTKsprays. If you're if you're in a
rural environment, or if you've gotjust a couple of trees in your yard

(10:18):
in Madison or in a city somewhere. We can treat those with systemic that
will will be there when they startto eat, and so you can proactively
reduce that population. It's never anelimination. It's amazing what they can survive.

(10:39):
But our BTK sprays for sure greatlyreduce the population. And if we
can keep it from getting defoliated.Your tree can handle a little feeding,
but it can't handle being stripped. If it's stripped for you know, three
years in a row, the likelihoodof two line chestnut bore or some other

(11:01):
pathogen coming in and finishing off thetree is quite high, and so we
want to be sure to mitigate thosepopulations and get them down to a level
that do not impact the tree. It's important to get down that calendar and
get that taken care of. Asyou sit in your yard and it's a
calm day, if you're hearing somethingsounds like rain drops, that doesn't rain

(11:22):
drops. You're hearing falling on theground. Anyone, they're just everything about
him is just disgusting. So againthat you're getting dropped on in a real
way, Yes, exactly, youdon't want you want to get it taken
care of. Now is the time, Today's day. Give a call at
Amsarborcare eight six six five nine sixfive three nine six. That's eight six

makes all sorts of artists and soapsand beautiful soaps as well. Probably has
something for the lady. Yeah,it's at Stony River right, yep.
