(00:17):
The Lord speaks to me many timesthrough dreams, and so that's one of
the languages that God uses to speakto my heart. Welcome to Healing Begins.
My name is Pastor Gail, andI've been titled our Time Together this
morning. Come up here, andso as you listen, I pray that
the presence of the Lord would justtouch and minister to your heart. And

(00:41):
I know many of you will listento this on wood Radio one oh six
point nine FM or AM thirteen hundredand and many of you will listen later
as a podcast. And I knowthat many of you will listen to this
from different countries who are tuning intomy podcast channel. So I want to

(01:03):
welcome every one of you. Ipray that this morning you would be touched
by the presence of Jesus. Iknow that when I speak and record these
programs, I understand that there aremany people under the sun of my voice
that are just struggling. During thistime. You know, the world is

(01:25):
going crazy. I mean, theworld just seems like it's on fire.
And the economy and we're in aseason, we're in a political season.
I'm not going to get into thatat all except for keep your eyes on
Jesus, and don't make friends yourenemies because they're different than you politically speaking.
Keep your eyes on the Lord, and know that in all things God

(01:48):
is working you know. It saysin Romans A twenty eight all things work
together for good to those that loveGod and are called according to His purpose.
And I'll go on, and itsays tomorrow he says, for those
God called he did predestined to beconformed to the image of his Son.
And the other scripture that's coming tomy mind right now, I don't have
the address for it, but it'sreal simple. We've all heard it.

(02:09):
I am crucified with Christ. Itis no longer I that live, but
Christ that lives in me. Italso says, in the life I now
live, I live by faith inthe Son of God. This year,
not everything may turn out the wayyou expected it to turn out. There
are may be some outcomes, theremay be some ways that things turn out

(02:31):
that you didn't plan. And Ijust want you to know there's a good
way to deal with all that. And it's the way I try to deal
with all that. I'm just humanthe way you are. I put my
pants on one leg at a time, you know. I mean, I'm
like you, you know. Sothe way that I deal with disappointment and

(02:53):
things not turning out the way thatI want is I do that by going
up into my prayer time, intothe presence of the Lord and waiting on
the Lord. And sometimes he givesme answers to things. Sometimes he doesn't,
But I just wait on him andI trust him no matter if the
turnout isn't the way I think itshould be that the Lord he sees from

(03:16):
a different perspective than I do.Now, I wasn't planning to talk about
this, but I'm just going togo with the flow. When I do
these programs, I don't have anynotes setting in front of me, you
know. I remember one time Itried to get a job at a certain
hospital as a chaplain, and man, I prayed and I prayed because I

(03:38):
was working there part time anyways, and I needed a better full time praying
job. And I went and Ithought for sure, man I claimed it.
I stormed the gates of Heaven forthat job. I even anointed my
boss's door with oil, did allthis stuff and prayed, and it got
down to me and another person andI wasn't chosen, And I said,

(04:00):
Lord, what went wrong? Whydid you not choose me for this job?
You know I need this job.You know what a year later,
you know where i'd have been ifI would have gotten that job. I
would have been unemployed because they laidthat person off and never hired them back

(04:20):
again. Two times I tried toget jobs in two different hospitals to get
away from the place where I wasat, and I was in the top
two. Both times I lost.I did not get the jobs. I
had to stay where God had plantedme. Now, in both cases,

(04:41):
both people that got those jobs werelaid off a year later and never re
employed. And so and the otheramazing thing is God looked from his perspective,
he had a plan that I didn'tsee. And the plan was that
he he was going to start thehealing ministry that I'm now the executive director

(05:03):
of Spiritual Care Consultants of West Michigan. We're a healing ministry out of a
doctor's office. So eventually the Lordknew in his divine timing that I would
start Spiritual Care Consultants with doctor Carlsonand I would start a nonprofit from nothing,
and it would grow and God wouldbless it to the point now sixteen

(05:27):
years later, we have a teamof thirty five people. Eight our employees,
the rest are volunteers, and wecover the whole West Michigan area.
And because we do zoom and everythinglike that, we have clients in California,
We have clients in Philadelphia. Wehave had clients in Los Angeles,
Costa Rica, Honduras, and we'realso in the countries of Honduras and Costa

(05:50):
Rica, and everything's translated into Spanish. So sometimes God has a plan that
you and I are aware of,and when a situation doesn't turn out the
way we think it should, weget upset at God. But you see,
we don't see the bigger picture thathe sees. And so this has

(06:14):
happened many times in my life nowwhen things don't turn out the way I
plan, I just stop and Isay, God, what is your plan?
Give me revelation of what you see. You know, we often quote
the scripture at funerals is no Ihas seen, no ear has heard,

(06:35):
nor has it entered the mind ofman what God has prepared for those that
love him. And we stop there. But the very next verse says,
but God has revealed it to usby his spirit. It is the spirit
of God that searches the deep thingsof God and makes those things known to

(06:58):
us. So you see, ifwe're facing situations, or we're having turnouts
that we don't like, or thingsare going on in our job and the
business that we own, or whateverit is that you're facing, I want
to give you an invitation this morningto come up. And I had a

(07:19):
dream last night, and I don'tknow what time it was, it was
before four am. I had adream. I was looking at a guy
playing the drums. He was ona elevated stage and he was playing the
drums. He had snow white hair, and there was a golden haze and
light that was all around him,and he was singing the song. I

(07:43):
don't know if it's a real song, but he was singing a song called
Praise Yahweh, Praise Yahweh. Andyou might you might not know who Yahweh
is, but Yahweh is the godof Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It's
the one name that Jewish people reallycount too sacred to pronounce. So if
you're listening and your Jewish, Iapologize, But Yahweh praise Yahweh. It's

(08:07):
also the God of the Christians, and so and Yahweh's son was Jesus Christ.
He was Yahweh in the flesh, and so praise Yahweh. And he
was singing it with all his heart. I mean, he was just singing
it. And I was thinking, that's the way we need to be when
we're facing things. That's the waywe need to be when we're in a

(08:31):
storm. That's the way we needto be when the devil is just fighting
against us, where we just standup say praise Yahweh, Thank you Jesus,
Thank you Lord. Even though mycircumstances have not changed, I put
my hope and I put my trustin you. In Revelation chapter four,

(08:52):
verses one and two. After this, I looked, I love it.
I looked it's good for us tobe looking at what God might show us.
And there before me was standing inopen door. Do you know on
the Jewish calendar this is the yearof the Open Door. There was standing
before an open door in heaven.Wow, would you like to go visit

(09:15):
Heaven? Ahead of times? Itell God, take me to Heaven.
I'd like to visit, but pleaselet me go back. I don't want
to die right now, but I'dlove to visit heaven. And the voice
I had first heard speaking to meLaka Trumpet, said come up here.
Wow, I take that invitation, and I will show you what must take
place after this. At once Iwas in the spirit, and there before

(09:41):
me was a throne in heaven withsomeone on it. You know, when
we come up, when we takethe time to get in the presence of
the Lord and go up with him, those are the times that he will
speak to us. He will showus what he wants us to do and
some of the things that might becoming our way if we make that a

(10:03):
habit, and if we make thata lifestyle. You might be saying to
me right now, but Pastor, you don't know how busy I am.
You don't know what I'm going throughright now. You know, the enemy
will use everything he can to stopyou from coming up into the presence of
God, because in the presence ofGod, every there's everything you need.

(10:24):
In the presence of the Lord isfullness of joy. And and me will
try to stop you. My lifeis busy too. I work long days,
and the Lord challenged me two yearsago. He said, you're not
praying enough. You need to praymore. I said, well, Lord,
if you will wake me up,I will get up and I will
spend time going up seeking you andbeing your presence. And then all of

(10:46):
a sudden, I started getting wideawake at four am for thirty am.
I was like, Lord, man, that's early, but that's the third
watch of the night, like whenJesus would go walk on the water to
the Disciple when they were in theboat. Four am for thirty am.
I never set my alarm to spendtime with God. Why, I told

(11:07):
them, if you wake me up, I will get up. So I
get up and I go get mycoffee, going I go to my room
where I like to pray. Ihave my coffee, and I have special
music I listen to on YouTube calledset Us on Fire. Set Us on
Fire is really great. Or youcan google Bethel one hour music without Words

(11:30):
and you will find music that youcan listen to that don't have any words,
that really helps you tune into thepresence of God. And now I've
been doing this for a while andI had to adjust because I've got to
admit I was tired. I wastired by two in the afternoon. If
I've been up since four by twoin the afternoon, I've done. I've
had a long day already. Andso yeah, I had to do a

(11:56):
little bit of adjustment. But youknow, when I go up, I
go up in the presence of God. He's the one that shows me a
time what to do. And Isaid, this morning, I said,
Lord, I gotta go. Ihave to go to my office and I
have to record to radio programs. But I don't know what you want me

(12:18):
to say. That was this morning. So one of the dream of the
guy playing the drums, and Ibelieve it was like in heaven, was
God saying to me, come uphere, come up here. There's things
I want to show you. Andhe took me to Revelations chapter four.
Then I think about Hebrews chapter four, verses fourteen through sixteen. I'm going

(12:39):
to read this because some of youmight be feeling I'm not worthy to go
up. None of us are.None of us are worthy to come up
in the presence of God. Butthe blood of Jesus Christ is what makes
us worthy. We can go boldlybefore the throne of Grace because the blood
of the lab because we are clothedin His righteousness. It's not about our

(13:05):
works, you know. The Biblesays, our works to God are filthy
rags, So we have to beclothed with His blood and his righteousness.
Hebrews chapter four of verses fourteen throughsixteen says, Therefore, since we have
a great high priest who has ascendedinto heaven, Jesus the Son of God,

(13:26):
let us hold firmly to the faithwe profess. Did you hear that?
Hold firmly? Why? The enemytries to knock our faith out of
our hands every day. The enemytries to tell people give up. If
you're going through this, where's God? Give up on your faith? Why
don't you just turn your back onGod? That's what you ought to do.

(13:48):
Well, when you hear those things, man, you're close to break
through. That's a lie of theenemy. We are to hold firmly to
the faith we profess, for wedo not have a high priest who was
unable to sympathize with our weakness.Listen, the Bible says here, but
he was tempted in every way justlike us, and he made it.

(14:11):
He was fully manned and fully God. And when when he was tempted.
He laid his divinity aside and wastempted as a man, and he was
victorious. And that means we alsocan be victorious through the blood of the
Lamb, through the power of theHoly Spirit. Because you see, the
same power that raised Jesus from thedead dwells in you and dwells in me.

(14:39):
It goes on. We do nothave a high priest who is unable
to sympathize on our weakness, butwe have one who has been tempted in
every way just as we are.Yet he did not sin. Let us
approach God's Throne of Grace with confidenceconfidence. Why because we are covered and

(15:01):
clothed in the righteousness of Christ. We can have the confidence because of the
blood of the Lamb. And herehe goes on, so we may receive
mercy and find grace to help usin our time of need. Are you
in a time of need right now? I invite you to come up to

(15:24):
the throne. I invite you,and Jesus invites you to go boldly to
the Throne of Grace with everything youneed. He loves you, He's with
you, he wants to help you. It's in his presence By the throne,
that there is whatever you need, you know, the Bible says,

(15:46):
and my God shall supply all yourneeds according to his riches. In Glory
James Chapter four, verses seven throughten. Submit yourselves then to God.
Wow, man, how much ofus or how many of us resist wanting
to submit ourself to God when weare in a hard time. Resist the

(16:11):
devil and he will flee from you. Come, oh boy, I have
to stop there. Are you resistingthe enemy when he tempts you, when
he wants you to do things youknow you shouldn't do. Are you resisting
the enemy? Are you saying noto him and yes to God? Resist

(16:32):
the enemy and he will flee fromyou. Come near to God and he
will come near to you. Well, that's a promise. Come near to
God and he will come near toyou. Then he goes on to say,
wash your hands, you sinner, and purify your heart. You double
minded, grieve, wail and mourn, and so in other words, if

(16:57):
you're going to go before the presentof God. And I do this every
day. Every day I do this. Maybe you think I shouldn't have to
do it, but I do itevery day. Before I approach the throat.
I asked, God, would youplease purefy my mind and my heart
with your blood? Would you forgiveme any sin I may have committed,
in any shortcoming I may have had, because we all have shortcomings, And

(17:21):
may you purefy and cleanse me thatI might approach your throne with grace and
confidence in my hour of need.Change your laughter in the morning and your
joy in the gloom. Humble yourselvesbefore the Lord, and he will lift
you up. We just need tohumble ourselves. You know, I was

(17:45):
listening to a song. I won'tsing it. I like to sing.
I could sing it, but I'mnot going to. But it says what
I really want to say. Listento this. It says, take me
past the outer court into the holyplace, past the brazen altar. Lord,
I want to see your face.Do you want to see his face?
Oh man, I would love tosee his face, Oh Lord,

(18:10):
I want to see your face.Pass me by the crowds of people and
the priest who sing your praise.I hunger and thirst for your righteousness,
but it's only found in one place. Take me into the Holy of Holies.
Take me in by the blood ofthe Lamb. Take me in to

(18:32):
the Holy of Holies. Take thecoal, touch my lips. Here I
am. It's just like Isaiah andIsaiah chapter six when he had a vision
of God. When God took himup and he had a vision of God
on the throne, he said, woa of me, I'm a man.
Woa am I I'm a man withunclean lips. And the Bible says that

(18:53):
God said an angel to the altarwith tongs. He took a coal out
the altar and put it on Isaiah'slips. It said, your sins are
forgiven, your sins are atoned for. And Isaiah said, here, my
Lord, send me. I'll goon. Take me past the outer courts

(19:14):
and to the Holy Place, pastthe brazen altar. Lord, I want
to see your face. Now.You know what, We have to have
a desire to want to see theface of God. We have to have
a desire to want more than whatwe had today or yesterday. You know
what, God is the God ofmore. God is the God of more

(19:37):
than enough, and his invitation toyou is to come up here. So
maybe you're with me, or maybeyou're listening to me this morning, and
you know you have some things thatneed to be purefied, out of your
life, out of your mind, out of your heart. So why don't
you just pray this prayer, sayJesus, I know I'm a sinner.

(20:00):
I rededicate my heart, my lifeto you. I ask you to cleanse
me from all sin and all onrighteousness by the blood of Jesus, so
I might approach the Throne of Gracewith confidence in the hour of my need

(20:22):
to find the help I need.In the name of Jesus, I receive
you're cleansing by the blood from mysin, from my shortcomings. In the
name of Jesus, I confess thatyou are my Lord Lord. It is
my heart's desire. I want tosee your face. I want to come

(20:45):
to the throne, and I needto hear your voice. In the name
of Jesus. Amen. Now,I want to pray for you. In
the name of Jesus, Lord,I pray that you would encounter every person
listening to me. I pray thatyou would speak to them by the power

(21:06):
of the Holy Spirit. I praythat your presence and the presence of Heaven
would flood the room where they're atright now. I pray that you would
speak to each person I pray thatyou administer to each person under the sound
of my voice. Lord, forthe one that I see crying right now,

(21:27):
tears running down your face. Lord, I know that you came to
wipe away our tears and to fillus with joy. I thank you,
Lord, that when you cleanse usfrom our sins, that you forget our
sins. First John one nine.If we confess our sin, he is
faithful and he is just and willforgive us of our sins and cleanse us

(21:51):
from all unrighteousness. Help us tocome up before your throne every day knowing
that you desire to and hear fromyour children, and you desire, Lord
to meet our needs. Because itshows that we have trust in you.
Lord. We put our faith,we put our hope, and we put

(22:15):
our trusts in you. I prayfor those that are struggling right now because
some things have happened, they didn'tturn out the way they wanted, and
they're disappointed. I pray that theycan give all their disappointment to you and
rest with confidence in your hope thatyou will see them through to the end.

(22:36):
In Jesus' name. Amen, Ifyou need a couple of good books
