Speaker 1 (00:19):
The Lord speaks to me many times through dreams, and
so that's one of the languages that God uses to
speak to my heart.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Welcome to Healing Begins.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
My name is Pastor Gail, and I've been titled our
Time Together this morning. Come up here, and so as
you listen, I pray that the presence of the Lord
would just touch and minister to your heart. And I
know many of you will listen to this on wood
Radio one oh six point nine FM or AM thirteen

(00:51):
hundred and and many of you will listen later as
a podcast. And I know that many of you we'll
listen to this from different countries who are tuning into
my podcast channel.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
So I want to welcome every one of you.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
I pray that this morning you would be touched by
the presence of Jesus. I know that when I speak
and record these programs, I understand that there are many
people under the sun of my voice that are just struggling.
During this time. You know, the world is going crazy.
I mean, the world just seems like it's on fire.

(01:30):
And the economy and we're in a season, we're in
a political season. I'm not going to get into that
at all, except for keep your eyes on Jesus, and
don't make friends your enemies because they're different than you
politically speaking. Keep your eyes on the Lord, and know
that in all things God is working.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
You know.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
It says in Romans A twenty eight all things work
together for good to those that love God and are
called according to His purpose. And I'll go on, and
it says some says for those God called he did
predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son.
And the other scripture that's coming to my mind right now,
I don't have the address for it, but it's real simple.

(02:11):
We've all heard it. I am crucified with Christ. It
is no longer I that live, but Christ that lives
in me. It also says, in the life I now live,
I live by faith in the Son of God. This year,
not everything may turn out the way you expected it
to turn out. There are may be some outcomes, there

(02:31):
may be some ways that things turn out that you
didn't plan. And I just want you to know there's
a good way to deal with all that. And it's
the way I try to deal with all that. I'm
just human the way you are. I put my pants
on one leg at.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
A time, you know. I mean, I'm like you, you know.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
So the way that I deal with disappointment and things
not turning out the way that I want is I
do that by going up into my prayer time, into
the presence of the Lord and waiting on the Lord.
And sometimes he gives me answers to things. Sometimes he doesn't,
But I just wait on him and I trust him

(03:11):
no matter if the turnout isn't the way I think
it should be that the Lord he sees from a
different perspective than I do. Now, I wasn't planning to
talk about this, but I'm just going to go with
the flow. When I do these programs, I don't have
any notes setting in front of me, you know. I

(03:32):
remember one time I tried to get a job at
a certain hospital as a chaplain, and man, I prayed
and I prayed because I was working there part time anyways,
and I needed a better full time praying job. And
I went and I thought for sure, man I claimed it.
I stormed the gates of Heaven for that job. I

(03:53):
even anointed my boss's door with oil, did all this
stuff and prayed, and it got down to me in
another person, and I wasn't chosen, and I said, Lord,
what went wrong? Why did you not choose me for
this job? You know I need this job. You know
what a year later, you know where i'd have been

(04:14):
if I would have gotten that job. I would have
been unemployed because they'd laid that person off and never
hired them back again. Two times I tried to get
jobs in two different hospitals to get away from the
place where I was at, and I was in the
top two. Both times I lost. I did not get

(04:36):
the jobs. I had to stay where God had planted me. Now,
in both cases, both people that got those jobs were
laid off a year later and never re employed. And
the other amazing thing is God looked from his perspective,
he had a plan that I didn't see, and the

(04:57):
plan was that he was going to start the healing
ministry that I'm now the executive director of Spiritual Care
Consultants of West Michigan. We're a healing ministry out of
a doctor's office. So eventually the Lord knew in his
divine timing that I would start Spiritual Care Consultants with
doctor Carlson, and I would start a nonprofit from nothing

(05:22):
and it would grow and God would bless it to
the point. Now sixteen years later, we have a team
of thirty five people. Eight our employees, the rest are volunteers,
and we cover the whole West Michigan area. And because
we do zoom and everything like that, we have clients
in California, We have clients in Philadelphia. We have had

(05:42):
clients in Los Angeles, Costa Rica, Honduras, and we're also
in the countries of Honduras and Costa Rica, and everything's
translated into Spanish. So sometimes God has a plan that
you and I are unaware of, and when a situation
doesn't turn out the way we think it should, we

(06:06):
get upset at God. But you see, we don't see
the bigger picture that he sees. And so this has
happened many times in my life now when things don't
turn out the way I plan, I just stop and
I say, God, what is your plan?

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Give me revelation of what you see.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
You know, we often quote the scripture at funerals is
no I has seen, no ear has heard, nor has
it entered the mind of man what God has prepared
for those that love him. And we stop there. But
the very next verse says, but God has revealed it
to us by his spirit. It is the spirit of

(06:52):
God that searches the deep things of God and makes
those things known to us. And so you see, if
we're facing situations, or we're having turnouts that we don't like,
or things are going on in our job and the
business that we own, or whatever it is that you're facing,
I want to give you an invitation this morning to

(07:16):
come up. And I had a dream last night, and
I don't know what time it was, it was before
four am. I had a dream. I was looking at
a guy playing the drums. He was on a elevated
stage and he was playing the drums. He had snow
white hair, and there was a golden haze and light

(07:37):
that was all around him, and he was singing the song.
I don't know if it's a real song, but he
was singing a song called Praise Yahweh, Praise Yahweh. And
you might you might not know who Yahweh is, but
Yahweh is the god of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It's
the one name that Jewish people really count too sacred

(08:00):
to pronounce. So if you're listening and you're Jewish, I apologize,
but Yahweh.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
Praise Yahweh.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
It's also the God of the Christians, and so and
Yahweh's son was Jesus Christ. He was Yahweh in the flesh,
and so praise Yahweh. And he was singing it with.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
All his heart. I mean, he was just singing it.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
And I was thinking, that's the way we need to
be when we're facing things. That's the way we need
to be when we're in a storm, that's the way
we need to be when the devil is just fighting
against us, where we just stand up say praise Yahweh,
Thank you Jesus, Thank you Lord. Even though my circumstances
have not changed, I put my hope and I put

(08:47):
my trust in you. In Revelation chapter four, verses one
and two. After this, I looked, I love it. I looked,
it's good for us to be looking at what the
God might show me. It's good for us to be
looking at what God might show us. And there before
me was standing in open door. Do you know on

(09:08):
the Jewish calendar this is the year of the open Door.
There was standing before an open door in heaven. Wow,
you like to go visit heaven ahead of times? I
tell God, take me to heaven. I'd like to visit,
but please let me go back. I don't want to
die right now, but I'd love to visit heaven. And
the voice I had first heard speaking to me, Laka Trumpet,

(09:31):
said come up here. Wow, I take that invitation, and
I will show you what must take place after this.
At once I was in the spirit, and there before
me was a throne in heaven with someone on it.
You know, when we come up, when we take the
time to get in the presence of the Lord and

(09:53):
go up with him, those are the times that he
will speak to us. He will sh he show us
what he wants us to do, and some of the
things that might be coming our way if we make
that a habit, and if.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
We make that a lifestyle.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
You might be saying to me right now, but Pastor,
you don't know how busy I am.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
You don't know what I'm going through right now.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
You know, the enemy will use everything he can to
stop you from coming up into the presence of God,
because in the presence of God, every there's everything you need.
In the presence of the Lord, its fullness of joy
and enmy will try to stop you. My life is
busy too. I work long days. And the Lord challenged
me two years ago. He said, you're not praying enough.

(10:38):
You need to pray more. I said, well, Lord, if
you will wake me up, I will get up and
I will spend time going up seeking you and being
your presence. And then all of a sudden, I started
getting wide awake at four am for thirty am. I
was like, Lord, man, that's early, but that's the third
watch of the night, like when Jesus would go walk

(11:01):
on the water to the disciples when they were in
the boat, four am for thirty am. I never set
my alarm to spend time with God. Why I told them,
if you wake me up, I will get up. So
I get up and I go get my coffee. Going
I go to my room where I like to pray.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
I have my.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
Coffee, and I have special music I listen to on
YouTube called set Us on Fire.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
Set Us on Fire is really great.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
Or you can google Bethel one hour music without words,
and you will find music that you can listen to
that don't have any words, that really helps you tune
into the presence of God.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
And now I've been doing this for a while and I.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Had to adjust because I've got to admit I was tired.
I was tired by two in the afternoon. If I've
been up since four, by two in the afternoon, I've done.
I've had a long day already. And so so yeah,
I had to do a little bit of adjustment. But
when I go up, when I go up in the

(12:03):
presence of God, he's the one that shows me a
time what to do. And I said, this morning, I said, Lord,
I gotta go. I have to go to my office
and I have to record to radio programs.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
But I don't know what you want me to say.
That was this morning.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
So one of the dream of the guy playing the drums,
and I believe it was like in heaven was God
saying to me, come up here, come up here. There's
things that want to show you. And he took me
to Revelations chapter four. Then I think about Hebrews chapter four,
verses fourteen through sixteen. I'm going to read this because

(12:43):
some of you might be feeling I'm not worthy to
go up. None of us are. None of us are
worthy to come up in the presence of God. But
the blood of Jesus Christ is what makes us worthy.
We can go boldly before the throne of great because
the blood of the Lamb, because we are clothed in

(13:05):
his righteousness. It's not about our works, you know. The
Bible says, our works to God are filthy rags, so
we have to be clothed with His blood and his righteousness.
Hebrews chapter four of verses fourteen through sixteen says, Therefore,
since we have a great high priest who has ascended
into heaven, Jesus, the Son of God.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
Let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. Did
you hear that? Hold firmly? Why?

Speaker 1 (13:36):
The enemy tries to knock our faith out of our
hands every day. The enemy tries to tell people give up.
If you're going through this, where's God? Give up on
your faith? Why don't you just turn your back on God?
That's what you ought to do. Well, when you hear
those things, man, you're close to break through. That's a
lie of the enemy. We are to hold firmly to

(13:58):
the faith we for we do not have a high
priest who is unable to sympathize with our weakness. Listen,
the Bible says here, but he was tempted in every
way just like us, and he made it. He was
fully manned and fully God. And when when he was tempted,
he laid his divinity aside and was tempted as a man,

(14:22):
and he was victorious. And that means we also can
be victorious through the blood of the Lamb, through the
power of the Holy Spirit. Because you see, the same
power that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you
and dwells in me.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
He goes on.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
We do not have a high priest who is unable
to sympathize on our weakness, but we have one who
has been tempted in every way just as we are.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
Yet he did not sin. Let us approach God's Throne
of Grace with confidence confidence.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
Why because we are covered and clothed in the righteousness
of Christ. We can have the confidence because of the
blood of the Lamb. And here it goes on, so
we may receive mercy and find grace to help us
in our time of need. Are you in a time

(15:21):
of need right now? I invite you to come up
to the throne. I invite you, and Jesus invites you
to go boldly to the Throne of Grace with everything
you need. He loves you, He's with you. He wants
to help you. It's in his presence by the throne

(15:41):
that there is whatever you need. You know, the Bible says,
and my God shall supply all your needs according to
his riches in Glory James Chapter four, verses seven through ten.
Submit yourselves then to God. Wow, man, how much of

(16:02):
us or how many of us resist wanting to submit
ourself to God when we are in a hard time.
Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Come,
oh boy, I have to stop there. Are you resisting
the enemy when he tempts you, when he wants you
to do things you know you shouldn't do. Are you

(16:23):
resisting the enemy? Are you saying no to him and
yes to God? Resist the enemy and he will flee
from you. Come near to God and he will come
near to you.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
Well, that's a promise.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
Come near to God and he will come near to you.
Then he goes on to say, wash your hands, you sinner,
and purify your heart, you double minded, grieve, wail.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
And mourn and so.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
In other words, if you're going to go before the
presence of God, and I do this every day, every day,
I do this, maybe you think I shouldn't have to
do it, but I do it every day. Before I
approach the throat, I asked God, would you please purefy
my mind and my heart with your blood? Would you
forgive me any sin I may have committed, in any

(17:17):
shortcoming I may have had, because we all have shortcomings,
And may you purefy and cleanse me that I might
approach your throne with grace and confidence in my hour
of need. Change your laughter in the morning and your
joy in the gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and

(17:38):
he will lift you up. We just need to humble ourselves.
You know, I was listening to a song. I won't
sing it. I like to sing. I could sing it,
but I'm not going to. But it says what I
really want to say.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
Listen to this.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
It says, take me past the outer court into the
holy Place, past the brave an altar.

Speaker 2 (18:01):
Lord, I want to see your face. Do you want
to see his face?

Speaker 1 (18:04):
Oh man, I would love to see his face. Oh Lord,
I want to see your face. Pass me by the
crowds of people and the priest who sing your praise.
I hunger and thirst for your righteousness, but it's only
found in one place. Take me into the Holy of Holies.

(18:26):
Take me in by the blood of the Lamb. Take
me in to the Holy of Holies. Take the coal,
touch my lips. Here I am. It's just like Isaiah
and Isaiah chapter six when he had a vision of God.
When God took him up and he had a vision
of God on the throne, he said, whoa am I

(18:47):
I'm a man with unclean lips. And the Bible says
that God said an angel to the altar with tongs.
He took a coal off the altar and put it
on Isaiah's lips. It said, your sins are forgiven, your
sins are atoned for. And Isaiah said, here, my Lord,
send me.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
I'll go on.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
Take me past the outer courts and to the Holy Place,
past the brazen altar. Lord, I want to see your face.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
Now. You know what.

Speaker 1 (19:16):
We have to have a desire to want to see
the face of God. We have to have a desire
to want more than what we had today or yesterday.
You know what, God is the god of more, He's
the God of more than enough. Maybe you're listening to
me this morning, and you know you have some things

(19:37):
that need to be purefied out of your life, out
of your mind out of your heart. So why don't
you just pray this prayer, say Jesus, I know I
am a sinner. I rededicate my heart, my life to you.
I asked you to cleanse me from all sin and

(19:58):
all unrighteousness by the blood of Jesus, so I might.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
Approach the Throne of Grace.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
With confidence in the hour of my need to find
the help I need. In the name of Jesus, I
receive You're cleansing by the blood from my sin, from
my shortcomings. In the name of Jesus, I confess that
you are my Lord, Lord. It is my heart's desire.

(20:31):
I want to see your face. I want to come
to the throne, and I need to hear your voice.
In the name of Jesus.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
Amen. Now I want to pray for you. In the
name of Jesus, Lord, I pray that you would encounter
every person listening to me.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
I pray that you would speak to them by the
power of the Holy Spirit. I pray that your presence
and the presence of He would flood the room where
they're at right now. I pray that you would speak
to each person. I pray that you administer to each
person under the sound of my voice, Lord, for the

(21:14):
one that I see crying right now, tears running down
your face. Lord, I know that you came to wipe
away our tears and to fill us with joy. I
thank you, Lord, that when you cleanse us from our sins,
that you forget our sins.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
First John one nine.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
If we confess our sin, he is faithful and he
is just and will forgive us of our sins and
cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
Help us to come up before your.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
Thrown every day knowing that you desire to see and
hear from your children, and you desire, Lord to meet
our needs. Because it shows that we have trust in you.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
Lord.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
We put our faith, we put our hope, and we
put our trusts in you. I pray for those that
are struggling right now because some things have happened, they
didn't turn out the way they wanted, and they're disappointed.
I pray that they can give all their disappointment to
you and rest with confidence in your hope that you

(22:22):
will see them through to the end. In Jesus' name, Amen,
if you need a couple of good books to read,
I just publish God Moments and Jesus in the Mountains
