Speaker 1 (00:18):
Good morning, everyone, and welcome to Healing Begins. My name
is Pastor Gale, and I'm glad that you have chose
to join me. Some of you will hear this program
on wood Radio one oh six point nine at one
am in the morning, and some will hear it later
as a podcast. So the title the Lord put on
my heart for you is he knows and he cares.

(00:40):
And so specifically, what I was thinking about is getting
into the hearts and minds of those of you that
are listening right now. I don't know what you're doing.
Maybe you are driving your car, maybe you're doing a workout,
and who knows why you're listening, But you know, sometimes
we just want to know, does anyone know what I'm

(01:01):
going through? Does anyone care? And that's why I've titled
this time together He Knows and he cares. And so
I want to start the time off by prayer, because
in some ways I think some of the most powerful
things we can do is pray, and so I want
to pray for you right away. Lord. I want to

(01:21):
thank you for those that are listening, either by radio
or podcast. Lord, I pray that right now in the
name of Jesus, your presence would go and touch each person. Lord,
I just pray right now, in the name of Jesus,
that you would bring light into the darkness, hope into hopelessness,
and joy where there has been depression. Lord, send your

(01:46):
angels out to minister to those that are listening, and
minister to those that will listen to this later in
the name of Jesus. Amen. And so when I'm thinking
about he knows and he cares, I'm specific thinking about
a scripture one Peter five seven through nine says cast

(02:06):
all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
I like that. Be alert and sober of mind your enemy,
the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone
to devour. Resist him. Stand firm in the faith because
you know that the family of believers throughout the world

(02:29):
is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. I love the scripture.
It says, cast all your anxiety on him because he
cares for you. And then psal, I'm thirty four eighteen.
The Lord is close to the broken hearted, and he
saves those that are crushed in spirit. I love that too,

(02:50):
because so many times people might be broken hearted and sad,
and they just need to know, even though you can't
feel it, the Lord is close to you and he
loves you. Now, there was a hymn A lot of
you know. I like to talk about hymns that my
grandma taught me. It's called Does Jesus care? Listen to

(03:10):
the words? Does Jesus care when my heart is pained
too deeply from mirth and song, when the burdens press,
and the cares distress, and the way grows weary and lawn.
Does Jesus care when my way is dark with nameless
dread and fear, and as the night light fades into

(03:34):
the deep dark shades? Does he care enough to be near?
Does Jesus care when I've tried and failed to resist
some temptation strong, when for the deep grief there is
no relief, though the tears flow all day long. Does
Jesus care when I've said goodbye to the dearest of

(03:58):
me on earth and sad heartaches till it nearly breaks?
Is it ought to him? Does he see? Oh? Yes,
he cares. I know he cares. His heart is touched
with my grief. When the days are weary, a long life, dreary,

(04:18):
I know my Savior cares. I want you to know
if you're listening that Jesus cares for you. He cares
for you when you think no one is thinking of you.
So what I've done is I've taken the time and
I've wrote down some of the reasons people might be listening,

(04:41):
either at one am in the morning or they might
be listening to this later at podcasts. Some of the
things that I think that people might be going through.
And I would like to hear from you, everyone that
listens to this program. I'd like you to email and
simply say I'm listening. My email is Gail at Spiritualcareconsultants

(05:04):
dot com. The number one reason these are not in
chronicological order as far as importance goes. But the first
thing I wrote down was people listen feeling spiritually lost
or they feel like their life is drifting away. One day,
my dad and I went out fishing, and we had

(05:24):
this really great place and we were catching fish, and
so he said, drop the anchor. So we dropped the anchor.
We were catching all kinds of fish, and all of
a sudden, we're not catching anymore fish. Well, we looked
up and we were no longer where we were once
at the anchor really did not touch the bottom of
the lake. We had drifted down the lake and didn't

(05:47):
even realize it. And sometimes when we're lost spiritually, we
can drift away from a place that God wants us
to be and not even realize it. The second reason
I wrote down that someone might be listening is they
might work second shift. I know I've got emails from
people that are working second shift. I'm glad you're out
there listening. Another reason you're awake and can't sleep maybe

(06:10):
your mind is just filled with all kinds of racing
thoughts that you just can't get your mind to shut off.
And I pray right now in the name of Jesus
that your mind I speak peace to your mind, to
your racing thoughts. Or maybe you're struggling with an addiction.

(06:31):
Maybe you're trying to beat an addiction and you have trouble,
especially at nighttime. Or maybe there's been a family crisis
that you're in the middle of and this crisis has
so stressed you out that you just can't sleep. I
want to say, Jesus cares for your family. I want

(06:52):
you to know that, and I pray that God would
be with you during any family crisis, or maybe you're
out for a long time because you're upset. You're driving
down the road and you're upset. There's thing's been going
on and you kind of feel like you're at the
end of your rope. Well, Jesus cares, he loves you,
and I pray that his peace would fill your car.

(07:14):
Maybe you're up because you're physically sick. Maybe you're battling
with the sickness, or maybe that you're battling with a disease,
or maybe you're not feel nauseated and you're up at night.
Email me Gail at Spiritualcareconsultants dot com say I'm listening.
Another reason you might be up. Maybe you're up with

(07:35):
a sick child and you're listening to the radio, or
you're listening to the podcast for hope and encouragement. Maybe
you're broken hearted, maybe you've been going through some grief
and you're just you're just hurting. Or maybe you've been
scanning your radio dial and you come across this program,
or maybe you've tuned in by radio or podcasts because

(07:57):
you just feel empty on the inside and you're looking
for something to fill you back up. Or maybe you
feel like you're all alone, that you have no support,
and maybe you feel like no one loves you. I'm
here to say to you this morning, Jesus loves you,
and he put you on my heart this morning. Maybe

(08:21):
because of what you're going through, you're struggling with forgiving
someone for something they did to you and this is
really bothering your mind. Or maybe you're dealing with disappointment.
Maybe you've had a big disappointment lately that really devastated
your life and you just don't know what to do.
You don't know where to turn. Well, if you will

(08:42):
turn to the Lord, he will help you. He will
give you guidance, he will give you direction. Or maybe
seek a counselor maybe go to your pastor and get
some counseling and get some prayer for your needs. Maybe
you're turned off by religion, but you're listening to the
program anyways. A lot of people get turned off by

(09:04):
religion because it's not about religion, it's about having a
relationship and with Jesus Christ and walking with him. Maybe
you have questions about God and Jesus. Well, if you
have questions, I'd like you to email them to me
at Gail g. A. L. E. At Spiritualcareconsultants dot Com.

(09:25):
I'd like to know what your questions are. Maybe I
can address some of them. Or maybe this one was
given to me by somebody else and I thought this
was cute. Maybe you've had too much caffeine before you
were Bet, went to bed last night and you're up.
Or maybe you're homebound and you can't get out of
your house and you're like, man, I'm stuck in this house.

(09:48):
I can't get out. Does anyone know I'm here? Well,
Jesus knows you're in your home. He knows right where
you're at. Maybe you're listening from your hospital, Bet, I
don't know. Well, if you are, the Lord wants to
just minister his peace and healing to you right now.
Or maybe you're just looking for hope. Maybe that's the

(10:11):
thing you need right now. You know, everybody needs hope.
We live in the day and age when it seems
like the world's on fire, there's riots, there's demonstrations, there's
everything going on around the world, and people need hope.
And you know that's why he said in one Peter five,
verse sevent he said, cast your anxiety on me, because

(10:32):
he cares for you. Why cast your anxiety on the Lord?
And I love this scripture because one day I asked
the Lord, what does my anxiety and the devil have
in common? Well, then it hit me that if I
don't give the Lord my cares and my anxiety, they
will devoured me. They will devour my time, my energy,

(10:54):
my mental health. God wants to help you. Jesus wants
you to know he's with you. Do you know him?
Are you walking with him? Is your heart right with him?
If your heart is not right with the Lord right now,
you can make it right right now. Just say, Jesus,
I know I'm a sinner. I ask you to forgive

(11:15):
me of my sins. Come into my heart and be
my savior. Fill me with the Holy Spirit in the
name of Jesus. Amen. See the Lord. He wants to
walk with you. He wants to be with you. He
wants you to know you're not alone Isaiah forty one ten.
And I think I've quoted this several times before. Fear

(11:37):
thou not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed,
For I am your God. I will strengthen the Yea,
I will help the Yea. I will uphold you with
my righteous right hand Isaiah forty one thirteen. I the
Lord will take you by the right hand, and I
will walk with you. Then he says, also when you
will walk through the water, I'll be with you. When

(11:59):
you will talk through the fire, you will not be burned.
You know, I would just encourage you. I know everybody's
going through something out there, and the Bible may seem
like a big book to you, But I would encourage
you to get out the Bible and look up scriptures
that will encourage you in your hour of need, scriptures
that will give you strength. I encourage you to read

(12:21):
the Book of Psalms. That would be a book, great
book in Neo Testence. Psalms for encouragement, I would I
would really encourage you to read the Book of Proverbs
for wisdom, because God wants to give you wisdom. Then
another scripture I quoted in the beginning Psalm thirty four eighteen.

(12:42):
The Lord is close to the broken hearted, and he
saves those that are Chrustian spirit. One of the names
for God is Jehovah Shama, the Lord who is near
I just like I love it knowing God is near me,
whether I feel it or not. He loves me, I
feel it or not. Jehovah Shama the Lord is near.

(13:04):
Another name for God God I really like. Is Jehovah Rohe,
God my shepherd. The Bible says, his rod and his
staff they comfort me. Why because with the rod, the
shepherd would hit the wolf on the head when it
would come to try to attack the sheep. So with
the rod and the staff, the shepherd would take care

(13:25):
of the sheep. He would also guide them back onto
the right path when they begin to wander away. But
the Lord is my shepherd. He is Jehovah Rohe. The
Lord is my banner, Jehovah Nissi, and his banner over
me is love. I love that. And he is Jehovah Rofei.

(13:49):
He is God my healer. So I don't know what
you need this morning. I don't know why you're listening
to this podcast, but I know that in the Lord
is everything you need. In him, you can find the strength,

(14:09):
healing and encouragement to go on. So I really encourage
you to get out your Bible and to look up
scripture that is encouraging. And maybe you're not very familiar
with the Bible. We'll go to the index of your
Bible and look up the page number of the book
you want. So Psalms would be my first recommendation. Proverbs

(14:29):
would be my second recommendation. I would also recommend that
you read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in the New
Testament and get to know the ministry of Jesus, in
the life of Jesus as it relates to how he ministered,
how he healed people, and how he set people free,
and so oh, yes, he cares. I know what he cares.

(14:53):
His heart is touched with my plea. I've had times
when I've been going things and I didn't think anyone
knew where I was. But every time after I look
over my sixty three I'm going to be sixty four
this year years of life, I see that God always
got me through. He always brought me through. Even when
I didn't know how I was going to get through,

(15:16):
he brought me through. And there's some of you that
are listening right now. You don't know how you're going
to make it. You don't know how you're going to
get through. You don't know how you're going to overcome
that mountain that is standing in your way. I remember
one time because I worked as a hospital chaplain for
a number of years. There was a young lady that

(15:37):
was dying of cancer in the brain, and such a
sweet young girl. And one time her mom brought her
in and she sat down in my office to talk
to me, and she wanted healing, and we all wanted
her to be healed, and we were just praying. And
as I prayed for her, the Lord said to me,
tell her, when her hand is in mine, she can
walk through anything. Thought later, well, that's not the word

(16:02):
I want, because that doesn't sound like a healing word.
Two weeks later, she did wind up going home to
be with Jesus. But when your hand is in the Lords,
you can walk through anything. I remember one time having
a dream that I was in a jail cell, and
in the middle of being in the jail cell witnessing
to someone about the Lord, the Lord appeared in this

(16:23):
cell and he reached out his hand to me, and
in the dream, we walked towards the back of the cell,
and the back of the cell was a smat wall,
and when we got to it, the wall did not
stop us. We actually walked through the wall when into
the next room, and I said to the Lord, why
did you allow me to experience this? And he said,
because when your hand is in mine, you can walk

(16:44):
through anything. Now, have you ever had a dream and
wondered was it really real? Well, this was one of
these dreams before Jesus was going to leave me. In
the dream, he said, how would you like to be
on TV? And I said, well, Lord, if that's what
you want, and he smiled at me and he goes
range it. So back then, I was a young pastor
and I got up early in the morning and I

(17:06):
went to my office because after that dream, I couldn't sleep.
I think. I got in the office about eight am
and my answering machine light was blinking and I pressed
the machine light and I said, this is WTLJ calling
for the pastor. Would you we'd like to put you
on TV? And I was blown away because I said, Lord,

(17:27):
that really was you, That really was you. So I
called them and I said, out of all the churches
in Battle Creek, why did you pick mine? Because my
line in the yellow pages is the smallest line of everybody.
He said, Well, when I was going down looking at

(17:47):
the different churches, something told me to call you. I thought, boy, God,
you are real. That was you. You were trying to
encourage me in the dream that you were with me
that when my hands in your I can walk through anything,
and then I'm not alone. Even when I feel alone,
I'm not alone because you know, he said in the

(18:08):
Word of God, which he doesn't lie, he said, I
will never leave you, nor will I forsake you. What
a promise. And I thought, thank you, Lord. You know.
And so I've had many times throughout my life I
was worried about something and the Lord said to me,
look back over your life, Heaven, I taking care of you. Heaven.

(18:32):
I always somehow come through. And I had to say yes.
And then I thought, why am I worrying? Well, I'm
probably worrying because it's the human thing to do. Worry
is easy to do, it's hard not to do depending
on the storm you're in. And I don't know what
you're going through as you're listening to this, but I

(18:55):
want you to know that if you just ask the
Lord to help you, he will walk you through the
situation you're in. But you might be a little bit
like me you were. I want to know ten steps ahead.
I want to know now how God's going to get
me through. Don't make me walk by faith. You know,
I walk by faith and not by sight. I walk
by faith and not by how I feel. I call

(19:16):
the things that are not as though they already are.
That's what faith is. And so you know, sometimes I
like it all spelled out in front of me, but
it's not always like that. So maybe you're out there listening,
and I just want you to know he cares. I
just want you to know that Jesus loves you. I
just want you to know he knows where you live,

(19:38):
he knows your address, he knows your phone number. The
Lord knows all about you, and he's gonna get you through.
So I hope this really encourages you, and please email
me Gail at Spiritualcareconsultants dot com and say I'm listening,
let me know you're out there, let me know what
you're going through, let me know how I can be

(20:00):
praying for you. And if you email me, I read
my emails, by the way, and I received several emails
from this being on wood radio and then later on podcasts.
But Jesus wants you to know he with you and
he cares, and so be encouraged this morning as you

(20:21):
go about your way this day. God is with you.
He's going to get you through. It might not be today,
but at the end of this maybe tomorrow the next day.
God's got a plan, And as you walk through the land,
He's going to take you by the hand. And so
I want to pray for you, Heavenly Father. I thank

(20:44):
you for each listener that is out there. Lord, as
they hear my voice, may hope fill their hearts. May
peace fill the room that they're in. May healing be
released to their physical bodies. Lord, you're able to reach

(21:04):
everybody all at once. You can help everybody all in once.
It's no problem because you carry the whole world and
the whole universe in the palm of your hand. And
I thank you Lord for those that are listening right now.
Maybe they're struggling with a financial burden that just seems overwhelming,
or maybe it is the family crisis they're in the

(21:27):
middle of them. They don't know what to do. I
pray that you give them wisdom. Or maybe it's their job.
Maybe they are out of a job and they need
a job. Lord, you are Jehovah Jirah, our provider. I
pray that you would provide for everybody that needs a job.
And Lord, I don't know what all the needs are,
but I know that you are more than able to

(21:50):
meet each need. So in the name of Jesus, I
praise you Lord, and I thank you Lord, because you
care and you know where I'm I'm at. You know
when I say, you know when I rise, You know
everywhere that I'm at and I'm never alone. So Father,

(22:10):
in the name of Jesus, I release peace, I release hope,
and I release healing over the airwaves right now to
all those that will listen in the future. In the
name of Jesus our Savior. Ay Man, Hey, I encourage
