HEALTHY LIFESTYLE with Host & Transformational Success Coach Lori Anne Casdia chats with Kiora Johnson and Gods Blessings Tour in collaboration with the Department of Social Services and Towns within Suffolk County, New York bringing basic resources to those in underserved communities. There is a staggering 94,000 residents living below Federal Poverty level in Suffolk County, New York.
Kiora Johnson is the Founder & Executive Director of God's Blessings Plan that has been in operation as a 501c3 charitable nonprofit since January 2018. She has her Undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park with majors in Finance and International Business. She then went on to obtain her M.B.A from Fordham University with specializations in Communications & Media Management as well as Finance. After 15 years of working in budget and planning roles, in 2018 Mrs. Johnson was led to leave her position as a Finance professional making six figures and work fulltime for God’s Blessings Plan on a volunteer basis with support from her husband. The organization offers basic necessities to children and families living in low income communities and temporary housing throughout Long Island. The mission is to show the love and compassion of Christ to our local communities through strategic outreaches and programs, designed to meet needs and leave people with a sense of love and dignity without discrimination. The vision is to be a beacon of light, hope and equality for the underserved and underrepresented throughout the world. Kiora's love of Christ is what motivates her each day to help His children that have been overlooked. Kiora has been married to her amazing husband Curtis for 8 years and they share two beautiful children Curtis III, 6, and Saniyya, 1.
