Speaker 3 (03:09):
Hey, can I ask you a quick question? Asked her
about the Jonas Brothers. Are they still a kid thing?
Is it an adult thing?
Speaker 2 (03:14):
Now?
Speaker 9 (03:15):
Everybody's grown up with them, so we've all grown up
with them. Some of the kids, you know what, it's
the kids of the kids that love them. So basically
the ones that were kids that love them that now
are moms and dads are bringing their kids. Lionsgate has
released the first trailer for Michael, the upcoming biopic, which
tells the story of the king of Pop Michael Jackson,
and he's being played by his nephew, Jafar. Jackson features
(03:37):
the singer in the studio with Quincy Jones, who's played
by Kendrick Sampson, and some of the songs featured include
Thriller and want to Be Starting Something Now. Michael tells
the story of Michael Jackson's life beyond the music, highlighting
both his life off stage and some of the most
iconic performances from his early solo career. You're going to
be getting a front row seat to Michael Jackson on
April twenty fourth when it hits theaters. Dallas Cowboys defensive
(04:02):
end Marshaw Neeland has tragically died at just twenty four
years old, in the middle of only his second NFL season. Now,
according to TMZ Sports Police Dispatch, audio revealed that he
told his family goodbye in what appeared to be a
mental health episode. Now, his girlfriend had reportedly received a
concerning message from him, saying he was armed and might
(04:22):
end it all. Frisco police say marshaw led troopers on
a short pursuit after a traffic stop before crashing his car,
and when officers found the vehicle, he was nowhere to
be found. However, his body was discovered hours later with
an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound. And that is the
dirty dish, all.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
Right, Astra Entertainment, Top of the Hour, every hour right
here on the Hollywood Hamilton showing the K two Morning Crew.
All right, so Mega Million's jackpot sores to nearly eight

Speaker 7 (05:11):

tatte well, it's kind of a tattoo. It's a nano
brow nano So basically they do these individual hair strokes.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
If you look closely, they look.
Speaker 9 (05:25):
Like actual hair and you can't even tell the difference.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
How long will they last?
Speaker 1 (05:29):
About a year? Oh geez? I mean is it necessary?
Do you not have enough hair above your eyes?
Speaker 9 (05:35):
I don't like my brows. I feel like they're on
the thinner side and I always have to color them in.
So it's a woman problem. Women have that problem where
if you don't have thick enough brows you have to
color them.
Speaker 4 (05:43):
Isn't it easier just to pencil it in? Why you know,
you wash your face and then you just do it
again tomorrow. I don't want to keep doing it. I
want to wake up looking beautiful. That's why I do
my last I barely wash my face at night.
Speaker 2 (05:56):

hair in my ears or my nose.

This is getting serious business right now. This is not
This is now no longer a joke. I mean, when
Federal Aviation, when the FAA starts shutting down cutting flights
at major airports, just about every major airport in the
nation has got to cut down their flights ten they say, now,
(08:00):
maybe twenty five.
Speaker 1 (08:01):

tell you that. If you're on especially if you're gonna
be going hitting the air in the next few days.
Speaker 8 (09:11):
Yeah, truly, But I think it'll be the impetus for them,

Speaker 5 (20:17):
Honestly, I need to just get this off my chest
because I've been this relationship for three years. We were
dating casually for a year before that. Okay, this has
been too long and he will not propose. He either
needs to commit or he needs to leave.
Speaker 13 (20:30):
He's always got something going on.
Speaker 5 (20:31):
He wants a better job, he wants a better car,
he wants to be able to afford a better wedding
for one. Okay, I don't want a boyfriend. I want
to I want a husband. I want a house and
a ring on my finger. And I feel like he's
not the one that's going to be with me.
Speaker 13 (20:43):
It's me.
Speaker 5 (20:43):
After three years.
Speaker 7 (20:44):
Whoa whoa, whoa, whoa whoa whoa.
Speaker 5 (20:47):
We lived together in an apartment. Like, what what's next?
Speaker 2 (20:50):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (20:51):
Okay, boyfriend, I want a husband. This is not real commitment.
Speaker 13 (20:54):
I want to ring.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
Coming up next, we're going to find out if it's her.
The update is then episode three h six entitled The Procrastinator.
Speaker 7 (21:03):
Hi everyone, Vicki.
Speaker 14 (21:04):
And now the Hollywood Hamilton Show and the KTU Morning
Crew presents War of the Roses.
Speaker 1 (21:11):
So is she settled down yet? Or is she? I've
been trying to talk to the commerce down your little
uh all right, line on line? What's your name? It's Danielle, Oh, Danielle.
Speaker 5 (21:23):
Honestly, I need to just get this off my chest
because I've been this relationship for three years. We were
dating casually for a year before that. Okay, this has
been too long and he will not propose. He either
needs to commit or he needs to leave.
Speaker 13 (21:35):
He's always got something going on.
Speaker 5 (21:37):
He wants a better job, he wants a better car,
he wants to be able to afford a better wedding
for one. Okay, I don't want a boyfriend. I want
to I want a husband. I want a house and
a ring on my finger. And I feel like he's
not the one that's gonna be give it me.
Speaker 13 (21:49):
After three years.
Speaker 7 (21:50):
Whoa whoa, whoa, whoa whoa whoa.
Speaker 5 (21:53):
We we lived together in an apartment, Like, what what's next?
Speaker 4 (21:56):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (21:57):
Okay, boyfriend, I want a husband. This is not real commitment.
I want to ring. Okay, this is either this relationship
is going to continue or it's going to stop.
Speaker 13 (22:05):
Stress.
Speaker 4 (22:07):
He's committed with you in this relationship, and he said he.
Speaker 5 (22:11):
Admitted with me. He tells me, he tells me that
he loves me. He tells me that the ring is coming,
that he just wants to save up and make sure
it's a nice ring. And I try to tell him,
there's always going to be problems, there's always going to
be things. We got to submit to each other and
then take on a plate together. It doesn't matter if
you have a nice car, like I'm obviously not with
him because of a car and money.
Speaker 13 (22:32):
I take my own money.
Speaker 4 (22:33):
If you want to partner, I want him to for
get off the pot, yes, okay, I want him to
or get off the pot.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
Okay, under a minute, okay, like you would.
Speaker 5 (22:45):
If he just told me to lead.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
Oh God, get him on the phone. Let's get him
on the phone.
Speaker 4 (22:50):
Let's see if we can help.
Speaker 1 (22:51):
Maybe we can help him.
Speaker 4 (22:53):
Take this last step with you.
Speaker 5 (22:55):
At this point, I feel like he's got another wife
or something, because why won't you just make me your wife?
Speaker 4 (23:08):
Hello, Hi, I'm calling for Carlos. Hi, Carlos, how are
you today? My name is Marie and I'm calling from
Redroses dot com. We have some flowers for you, and
I just need to confirm some information. Do you have
a minute?
Speaker 11 (23:24):
Who's sending me roses?
Speaker 4 (23:26):
We're a local company here in the area, and as
a promotional vehicle, we thought of this idea of getting
names and randomly picking them and calling the person and saying, Hey,
would you like to have these free roses? For these
free roses, if you could just talk about us on
your social media Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, that kind of thing.
(23:49):
So do you think you could help us out? So
you're in the Bronx, Yeah, soul, could we get you
to help us out, just sort of help spread the
word about our big business.
Speaker 1 (24:00):
We'd really appreciate it.
Speaker 11 (24:02):
I don't understand. So, I mean, I get at you're
a news store. I mean, I mean, what.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
Do you need for me?
Speaker 11 (24:06):
I don't have a lot of money to just be
spending on roses.
Speaker 4 (24:09):
No, no, no, this is not going to cost you anything.
And in exchange for these free flowers, we would just
like you to kind of spread the word about our
business that we're here, we're open, we're a great company,
that kind of thing. We would just love to have
your support.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
OK.
Speaker 11 (24:25):
I get it like a customer testimonial exactly.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
And these flowers are free. So do you have anybody
that you'd like to send these roses to?
Speaker 2 (24:35):
How are they being shipped for the package or a
vib okay wrapped.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
Yeah, they're in a beautiful crystal vase and we can
ship them anywhere, even international.
Speaker 11 (24:46):
How many days does it take approximately for these flowers
to be delivered once we finalize everything.
Speaker 4 (24:53):
Well, it depends on the area. If they are local,
I might be able to get it same day. If
not today, definitely tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (25:02):
Okay.
Speaker 11 (25:04):
Are these flowers freshly cut?
Speaker 2 (25:06):
Are they cut?
Speaker 11 (25:08):
Are they cut hoarmizontally? Because you know they last longer
if you cut an angle.
Speaker 4 (25:12):
That is a great question. They are cut horizontally like
at an angle?
Speaker 11 (25:18):
The plant food or do I have to buy a
plant food?
Speaker 4 (25:22):
No, they they'll be the water will have the special
food in it. And we also include.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
You with water.
Speaker 11 (25:31):
Oh, that's because that might be difficult.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
Are we going to have a.
Speaker 4 (25:34):
Card that goes we are okay?
Speaker 11 (25:37):
And who's going to be writing on the card? Is
it printed? Is it from a template on the computer?
Speaker 2 (25:41):
Somebody gonna hand write.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
We will? Well?
Speaker 4 (25:46):
That also is a really great question.
Speaker 5 (25:49):
You can't even just say where to send the flowers?
You just as questions.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
Danielle Daniell. This guy would have gone off for another
hour on question.
Speaker 4 (26:00):
But he was a very legit I know, I know.
Speaker 5 (26:04):
Horizontally, Where did you ever see anically, Carlos, can you
hear me?
Speaker 2 (26:10):
I'm here, don't know what's going on. I just close.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
I'm not a breath.
Speaker 3 (26:16):
I'm literally exhausted. I need to go take a nap
right now. I need to go sleep a lot, a lot.
Speaker 11 (26:25):
I just wanted to know how they were going to
get to you.
Speaker 5 (26:27):
That's how they're gonna get to me. Okay, yeah, buy
a carryer pigeon. Okay. When she said where do you
want to send the flowers?
Speaker 2 (26:33):
What was going to Okay?
Speaker 11 (26:35):
I am completely lost? Just okay, someone who can explain
this please.
Speaker 3 (26:38):
All right, Carlos, let me explain what's happening. My name
is Sean Hamilton, Hollywood Hamilton. I'm with a radio station
in New York. Here wy k t you. You're on
something called War of the Roses. Your your your girlfriend
of three years, she's on a mission.
Speaker 5 (26:53):
So basically, Carlos, this is my last effort to get
you to propose or go. If you're not going to
come in, I am done with you. I am so
done with it.
Speaker 4 (27:03):
She you know, you guys dated for a year. Then
she said that you guys decided for the that you
wanted to be in a committed relationship. So now you've
been in a committed relationship for three years. I understand
you're also so are you any closer to proposing Carlos
at all?
Speaker 11 (27:24):
I'll be honest with you, I am thinking about it.
Maybe the holidays. I'm trying to do something.
Speaker 5 (27:29):
Oh my, at this stage, every time you've been down
to tide your shoe, I'm waiting for a ring. There's
nothing more obvious about it.
Speaker 11 (27:37):
I have been looking at some rings. It's just there's
so many.
Speaker 4 (27:42):
Options, and that's nice.
Speaker 11 (27:46):
There's three cuts to choose from that are very popular.
Not like this solitaire cut, emerald cut. You could go
pear shape, but then I have to think.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
Once I decide on the.
Speaker 11 (27:55):
Shape the cut, and I have to think about the box,
we won't be this guy's procrastinator.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
That's what he does.
Speaker 4 (28:03):
I think Carlos should really continue to take his time.
I really do. I think he should take his time
and really think about his decisions a little bit mark
to you.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
Well.
Speaker 3 (28:14):
That call originally aired almost four months ago, and four
months later, after talking to Danielle last night, Carlos has
still not asked Danielle to marry him.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
So she told us. Not much of an update here,
not much of an update at all, but she told us.
Speaker 3 (28:27):
Last night that she's going to give him until January first.
If he does not proposed by January first, she is
going to leave him.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
She's just gonna up and leave.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
And and she told him, and he has been warned.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
That is basically the update.
Speaker 3 (28:43):
And by the way, she thinks Carlos is not cheating,
not seeing anybody else, but for some reason, he's got cold.
Speaker 1 (28:48):
Feet, and we think we all know what that reason is.
Speaker 3 (28:53):
And all new, brand new season of War the Roses
begins this Monday, Monday morning, seven point forty, riding around
Kate to You with the crew.
Speaker 5 (29:02):
Home Tears and Another Winner with Hollywood Hamilton and the
KTU Morning Crew.
Speaker 1 (29:08):
All right, good morning, how are you?
Speaker 8 (29:10):
Good morning?
Speaker 1 (29:10):
Who's this hurry?
Speaker 2 (29:12):
My name is Marie.
Speaker 4 (29:12):
I listen to you guys show every morning.
Speaker 9 (29:15):
Oh where are you calling from?
Speaker 2 (29:17):
Queens, New York?
Speaker 1 (29:18):
All right, well, guess what girl?
Speaker 4 (29:20):
Where you are going to the Jonas Brothers. Oh my god,
this is the first time in my life I've ever
worn anything.
Speaker 8 (29:28):
Oh, today is your lucky day.
Speaker 9 (29:30):
You're going to see the boys at the Ubs Arena
on November nineteenth.
Speaker 4 (29:34):
Wow, my daughter's gonna be so happy. Her birthday is
November thirteenth.
Speaker 8 (29:38):
No way, mine's November tenth.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
Scorpio season.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
Have birthday to you.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
Happy birthday to your daughter.
Speaker 12 (29:45):
What is her name?
Speaker 2 (29:47):
My name is Anna.
Speaker 9 (29:48):
Oh well, this is gonna be the best birthday present
for Anna. You guys have an amazing time and tell
everybody who just made it happen.
Speaker 4 (29:55):
Hollywood Hamilton and the KTU Morning Crew.
Speaker 14 (30:01):
You are about to hear a feature that was created
to expose the scammers, thieves, and con artists among us.
The dialogue and temperament about to be used by Hollywood
Hamilton does not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of iHeartMedia.
This is Fraud Friday.
Speaker 3 (30:18):
This week on Fraud Friday, it's the Wi Fi coffee
shop scam. If you don't think public Wi Fi is dangerous,
we think we might be changing your mind. The Wi
Fi coffee shop scam is pretty much a scam about
any open Wi Fi, but on this particular scam, we're
talking about the coffee shop scam.
Speaker 8 (30:38):
Well, as most folks know in twenty twenty five, there's
endless scams out there and endless ways to pirate your information,
to get your data and then therefore to get into
your bank accounts, your credit cards. The last thing you
want is someone in your phone getting your data, and
you're at risk if you're using public Wi Fi.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
Right.
Speaker 3 (30:57):
So, in Mintown, Manhattan, we've got listener Alice on the phone.
Speaker 1 (31:00):
Everybody welcome, Alice.
Speaker 4 (31:02):
Alice Listener Alice Hi Hi Alan.
Speaker 3 (31:05):
Alice has been frequenting a coffee shop which we're gonna
remain nameless for obvious reasons. This coffee shop is in
Midtown Manhattan, where Alice lives. Alice, can you explain to
us a little bit what's happening with your problem on
this week's Fraud Friday.
Speaker 1 (31:21):
What's happening with yourself?
Speaker 6 (31:23):
Times have been really rough. I lost my job six
months ago, I got mouth to feed. My husband left me.
I'm struggling all by myself and I had to apply
for food stamps and they sent me my EBC cards
and it's a godsend, you know. I shop, I get groasties,
(31:44):
and I get my coffee on there, and all of
a sudden, I've been noticing money missing. I know how
much I should have in there, and it's not that amount, right,
and I'm seeing five dollars ten dollars gone right now.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
You frequently what's called the coffee shop.
Speaker 3 (32:01):
Manhattan, Alice, You didn't know anything about a VPN right
when you're using public Wi Fi, either at a motel,
a hotel, or a park or a Starbucks airports.
Speaker 6 (32:14):
Especially, I just know how to get on the internet, right, and.
Speaker 4 (32:17):
Don't feel bad about that. I'm the same way. I
don't know anything about this stuff either, So don't feel
badly that you don't know.
Speaker 8 (32:25):
And honestly, if you are going to surf the web
in a public location, you need what's called a VPN,
a virtual private network, a hotspot.
Speaker 1 (32:32):
But these are items that you have to pay for.
It's not free, and so you're.
Speaker 8 (32:36):
Sometimes you're safer on your cellular plan depending on your
payments and what you got there.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
You know they're nickel and diming, or it turns out
to be. At first course is seven.
Speaker 3 (32:45):
Months, fifty sixty bucks and they're nickel and diming or
now can you imagine twenty five thirty five customers. Okay,
here we go. We're gonna get the guy on the phone.
His name is Siffee Shop, and let's get down to
the bottom of it.
Speaker 14 (33:01):
You're listening to Fraud Friday with the KTU Morning Crew.
We'll be right back with part two when Hollywood and
Marie make the call. Buckle up because things are about
to get rough. Welcome back for part two for this
week's Fraud Friday.
Speaker 4 (33:31):
Hi, I'm calling for Lenny. Is Lenny around? It's a
friend of his?
Speaker 5 (33:39):
Hold on.
Speaker 2 (33:42):
This is Lenny.
Speaker 4 (33:43):
Hi Lenny. My name is Marie. I'm a customer of yours.
I come in a lot. I order many coffees when
I come in, you know, I don't just sit there
and take up the table.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
What can I do for you?
Speaker 4 (33:56):
I'm sorry what I said.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
It's a coffee shop. Everybody comes in and ordered coffee.
What can I do for you?
Speaker 4 (34:03):
Well, I have a problem and I just wanted to
discuss it with you. If I could just chat with
you for just a second. I've noticed on my card
that there's kind of a lot of charges, and I
don't know where they're coming from. Like a dollar here,
(34:23):
five dollars, I think the one just a few days
ago was ten dollars.
Speaker 2 (34:28):
So we've been having problems with our Wi Fi system.
Just let me know what I owe you. I'll pay
you right away.
Speaker 4 (34:35):
What oh, okay? Yeah, because I use an EBT card
and I've noticed that a lot of these charging that's
been going on. It's like five dollars here, ten I
think just a few days ago it was ten dollars
off a lot.
Speaker 2 (34:56):
I'm really busy here. I want to get you taken
care of. I want to get straight on this. You
come into the shop, I'll help you out. I'll square
up with you whatever I owe you. Just come on in,
let me know what I owe you, and I'll pay you.
Speaker 4 (35:07):
Really, that's that's all it takes is for me just
to come in. Do I bring my card with me,
and you'll just put it back on my card? How
does that work? Can you do that? Can you put
it back on my EBT card?
Speaker 2 (35:21):
No, I'll just give you the money. Just tell me
what I owe you, and I just well, I brought it.
Speaker 4 (35:26):
Back on my card because you took it off my card.
So you need to put it back on my card. Wow,
that was Yeah, why is it? I don't understand awfully
quick you think.
Speaker 1 (35:41):
Listen to me. My name is Sean Hamilton.
Speaker 3 (35:42):
I'm a private investigator here in midtown Manhattan, and we're
representing a woman by the name of Alice.
Speaker 1 (35:48):
Alice.
Speaker 13 (35:48):
Are you there, Yes, I'm here.
Speaker 3 (35:51):
Alice reached out to help us with a little bit
of a problem. Just a couple of real quick questions.
Is this something that happens quite frequently?
Speaker 2 (35:59):
I'm sorry, who is this? Okay?
Speaker 3 (36:02):
We are a private investigating firm here in the city.
We represent Alice. She's the woman that you just spoke
to right now. She has been taken advantage of by
frequenting your coffee shop a number of times. It's it's
been months, and she's finding that there's a lot of
money that's been missing from her EBD card. Okay, and
it's been happening a lot.
Speaker 4 (36:23):
Yeah, explain it to him firsthand.
Speaker 6 (36:25):
Well, I've been coming to your coffee shop. All of
a sudden, when I look at the bottom of the
receipts and it tells me the total that I have left,
There's like a dollar here, five dollars here, missing. I
need every bit of money I have. I'm struggling as
it is. I have all these kids to feed.
Speaker 1 (36:46):
What were you saying, go ahead?
Speaker 2 (36:50):
Like I told the other woman, I said I would
square up. I said, I would.
Speaker 1 (36:53):
You do understand, Heylenny, you do understand this.
Speaker 3 (36:56):
It's a little suspicious that you want to quote unquote
square up.
Speaker 2 (37:00):
What is suspicions?
Speaker 1 (37:01):
Okay, just a couple of questions. Does this frequently happen
in your coffee shop?
Speaker 3 (37:06):
Because it sounds like you're you've been really prepared for
this call.
Speaker 2 (37:09):
It must look we've been having issues with our WiFi.
I'm happy to pay back what is owed. I'm willing
to bite the bullet here and take care of this.
Speaker 4 (37:20):
You know, Lenny, It's just a little suspicious that you're
just paying people off instead of reporting these incidents to
the Internet Crime Complaint Center and the fography.
Speaker 2 (37:34):
Look, hey, I'm going to stop you right there. I'm
doing the right thing here. I don't appreciate you.
Speaker 1 (37:38):
Are to clean it up. Just want to know why.
Speaker 4 (37:43):
Yeah, it's a little oh.
Speaker 3 (37:47):
I'm just saying that somebody calls in they've been ripped
off through your coffee shop. You would think that and
like you said, this has been happening a lot lately.
You would have had a business card of somebody from
the Federal Bureau of Investigation waiting to speak to some
of these people. You didn't mention anything like that. It's like,
we're not accusing you of anything. I'm saying you should
(38:07):
have already been in contact with any one of these federal.
Speaker 4 (38:10):
Interact So, hey, Lenny, whoever's doing this is committing a
federal crime. Interesting, you're gonna do something more than just
pay the money back?
Speaker 3 (38:23):
Yeah, to stop it, because because this is nickel and
diming whoever's doing it, We're not okay, I want to
clarify because we're not saying it's you. I'm saying your suspect.
Obviously obviously your suspect. But what I'm saying is that
you didn't come up with more of a professional like.
This has been a problem the Federal Trade Commission, n YPD,
(38:46):
State Attorney General's Office, they've all been notified.
Speaker 1 (38:48):
Please come down here.
Speaker 3 (38:49):
I'm gonna I'm gonna put you in touch with the
This is a problem that we're having right now.
Speaker 1 (38:54):
It's just come on down here right now and I'll
pay you off. That's come down here exactly.
Speaker 4 (38:58):
You're not doing anything to fix your problem.
Speaker 3 (39:01):
Come on, okay, Alice, when can you go down there?
And we're going to Samantha and a couple other people
are going to join you down there. Samantha, you got time?
Speaker 2 (39:08):
Can you?
Speaker 1 (39:09):
Absolutely?
Speaker 8 (39:09):
We want to follow up and make sure this gets
done and you get your money ballas.
Speaker 1 (39:12):
We don't want you to go down alone. We're gonna
go with you.
Speaker 4 (39:14):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (39:15):
We're gonna set up a couple of people to go
with you down there to click how much money?
Speaker 1 (39:18):
How much?
Speaker 3 (39:19):
What was the exact figure? Lenny's gonna be prepared to
immediately pay off what fIF.
Speaker 12 (39:25):
Exact?
Speaker 3 (39:26):
Yeah, fifty eight dollars and twenty five cents? Is that
what you're saying?
Speaker 6 (39:30):
Yeah, let's let's do it at three o'clock.
Speaker 1 (39:33):
I like it, I can do it.
Speaker 4 (39:34):
Yeah, you can make it a three Samantha.
Speaker 3 (39:36):
Okay, don okay three o'clock because okay, it's fine, Lenny,
We're gonna be down there at three o'clock.
Speaker 1 (39:40):
Are you going to be there?
Speaker 2 (39:41):
