Okay, Well, never seen it before where there are so
many cats out there. It's like an abundance amount of pats.
Every time I'm driving I see them in packed So
I started buying food and everything, and then I would
stop and I would feed them. So you know, I
feel bad and I want to make sure that they,
you know, have food in their belly.

You are the cat Lady of Staten Island and you've
been written up on magazines and of course newspapers and.

Everybody knows who you are.

But now you go around and you basically feed cats
all day.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Is that what you do on the island or what
do you do?

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Sometimes? I do it early in the morning and then
I'll do it later on in the afternoon.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Do you get donations to feed these cats?

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Or you?

Are you using money out of your own pocket?

Speaker 3 (01:29):
I use money out of my own pocket. And there
was a gentleman who saw me doing this and then
he called, actually he called a Purina company. He told
them to send me some coupons to help it along.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Did you get some coupons from Pirina? Yes? Oh, that's
so we love Parina for that. That's nice. Hey, cat
ladies or a cat man in your life?

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Or is it you got cat guy sometimes?

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Oh? So you're married?

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Yeah?

Uh?

Now is he supportive of you doing this? Or what's
he like? Because I know, you know some husbands are
going what are you doing out there for you?

Speaker 3 (02:08):
No, he tells me he's he's going to go fee
those cats. Right, let's go, he says.

Oh, no, supportive. You guys are a team.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Yes, all right, here's the sixty four million dollar question Jack,
how many cats are we talking about.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
I mean, how many cats you go through every day?

Speaker 3 (02:25):
Oh my goodness. Sometimes it could be forty, sometimes it
could be fifty. There's a lot, there's a lot, because
there's there's always a pack of more than ten, you know,
there's different spots. And I usually keep the case a
case in my car, in a bag, dirty pound bag
of dry food. And it's unbelievable how many cats you

see walking the streets homeless. It's so sad, though, it's
so sad to see them.
