Well, we're in benson Hurst. We do certain areas in
benson Hurst. We don't want to recreate the wheel. If
they don't have a program in the area, we try
to adopt that area to help those struggling with food
and security. And that's what we're all about in their
time and struggle.

all the food come from? And do you, guys, how
do you raise all this food to feed people that
are in need?

Well, we've been operating for the last thirty years. The
k to you came by one of our events. It
probably was Thanksgiving. We also do a Christmas event to children.

Wait, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. So we came by one
of your events the station.

When was this, Oh, I can't remember, like it could
be like fifteen years ago.

And so you guys have been around you and you're
not kidding, you have been around for like thirty years.

And where do you get all this food? I mean,
is it just one building? Do do people bring you
the food? How does that work?
Speaker 2 (01:46):
No, it's in just one building. I mean right now
presently we have thirteen thousand families registered with us, So
you need a pretty DeSUS height building. But we worked
with the Food Bank in New York City, we worked
with City Harvests, we worked nither way. So these are
the resources that we can gather food together.
Speaker 3 (02:04):

We have a handful of foundations, God blessed, they're wonderful.
Some of our community members make donations online help us out.

keep the logistics rolling, donations and people who want to
donate time to actually give out the food.
