Speaker 1 (00:00):
E K to you to Hollywood Hamilton Show on the
K two Morning Crew. Right here, all right? Marie's favorite feature?
She has two favorite features we do here. Marie loves
War of the Roses and of course she loves roulette karaoke. Yes,
this happens to be my favorite. Ladies and gentlemen, it's Monday.
You know what that means. Tired to get fired?

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Marie?

Speaker 1 (00:22):
I want you to say hello to Carrie. Carrie is
a bartender. She works at a restaurant. Carrie, are you on.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Line with us? Hi?

Speaker 3 (00:28):
I'm here, tell us why? Uh I get fired? I'm
geting to get right to it.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
So I've been working at this place for a long
time and I love it. I love all my coworkers,
I love this staff, I love everyone that comes in.
We got a new manager like six months ago and
he is just the absolute word.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
So she's been there for over a year. The past
manager no problem at all, loves the boss. But in
the email, it says Carrie has said that the boss
is seeing your way and we'll not let this manager go.
Is that correct?

Speaker 2 (01:03):
He happens to be the son of a silent partner
that came in because the business wasn't doing so well,
so my boss got someone to buy into the company.
And this guy is the son of that man.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Oh okay, okay, it's becoming clear now, okay, all right.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
So the guy is just awful and he talks down
to everyone. He's just one of those types also that
we'll find something wrong with what you've done no matter what,
even if you've done exactly what he's asked you to
do multiple times. Then I'll come back in and be like,
why did you do it this way?

Speaker 4 (01:41):
How long have you been a bar?

Speaker 3 (01:43):
How long have you been a bartender?

Speaker 4 (01:45):
Ten years?

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Ten years?

Speaker 1 (01:47):
So you're talking about somebody who knows what they're doing,
are you Are you ready to be fired? Are you ready?
Because we've done this feature Tired get Fired? This will
be our seventh time we've done it. Out of the
seven times, two people didn't get fired within the two minutes.
And that's the whole thing. I don't know if you know,
I know you listen to the show, but you'll have
two minutes to try. Once your manager picks up the
phone and says, hello, what, by the way, what's this

(02:08):
guy's name? Marco? Of course it is, of course Marco, Marco. Okay,
as soon as Marco picks up the phone, Hello, you
have two minutes to try to get yourself fired. If
you can get yourself fired, if he says, hey, listen, Carrie,
you're fired. If you can get him to say that
within two minutes, you get six weeks severance. We're gonna
personally pay you six weeks severance.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
It sounds amazing, it's a dream.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
But I feel Carrie's ready.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
I know you're ready to unload.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
But I think we'd all like to know if it
doesn't go your way, if he does not fire you,
do you have a backup plan?

Speaker 1 (02:45):
What are you gonna do after the thing she's about
to say to him? Is he gonna allow allow her
to stay?

Speaker 2 (02:51):
I definitely have other options, but I just feel this
is a great way for me to get fired and
get paid.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Yeah, Yes, here we go, Harry, let's do it all right,
Here we go, Anthony, go ahead, dial him up. His
name is Marco. He is the manager we carry.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
We wish you the best of law. Thank you.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Don't threaten to kill him, please, no threats of out
and out murder. We're kind of going light and easy
on profanity.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
These days.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
So, Hey, no family, No family can make fun of
the family, don't make fun of his. That rule has
been dropped. That rules dropped out right, I apologize. All right,
Let's see how Carrie does next. I'm tired, get fired.
See if we can get her that six week severance. Next,
I'm k to you.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Thanks? How can I help you?

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Hi? Can I speak to Marco?

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Please?

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Let me go ahead and find him.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Thank you? Yeah, this is Marco.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Marco. Hey, it's Carrie. Do you have a minute or two?
What do you want? In my ten years of our turning?
You are the worst manager I've ever had. I don't
understand how I had to explain to you that a
Sazaraq has Sazaraq in it?

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Who doesn't know that?

Speaker 2 (04:12):
How did you get this job? And I'm not the
only one that thinks that? And you know how you
think that Julie has a big crush on you because
she made out with you that one time after work
she was hammered. She was hammered, whoa who remember? And
she is embarrassed.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
You're way out of line here.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Why because of your daddy? You got this job because
of your father?

Speaker 1 (04:38):
I know it.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Everyone at the bar knows that, and you know it.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
It's embarrassing.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
How did your job that job based on my marriage?

Speaker 2 (04:46):
You don't know anything about me. You don't like the job, don't.
I just get the stop based on my father, Daddy's
little boy, daddy's little boy, daddy's little boy, daddy's little boy, Daddy, Daddy, Daddy,
daddy's little boy. Watty say job, Daddy, Daddy's little baby,

(05:09):
daddy's little child, Daddy's a little boy, Daddy, Daddy, Daddy
carry coming tomorrow and just get your check and we'll
be done with this, okay, Goddy's little boy, Daddy's little child,
Daddy's little.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Big I'm get your check tomorrow, grab your apron, and
we're done.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
And you're a say, is that what you want? Yes?

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Am I under two minutes, Kerry, congratulate my under two minutes?

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Give I under two minutes?

Speaker 4 (05:43):
Did I do it?

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Did I do it? I forgot to tell her, uh
And by the way, he's still hanging out on the
line right now. But I forgot to tell her that
there will be a buzzer. There's going to be a
buzzard perfect. By the way, Mary Hamilton, I'm a I'm
a radio peronality and iHeartMedia right over here, k T
you in the city, and you're on something called Tired

(06:04):
Get Fired. It's a feature on our show where Carrie
really that's authentic. She really can't stand you. And we
gave her two minutes to get herself fired, and if
she got herself fired within the two minutes, she was
going to get six week severance and she successfully did.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
So wow, good for her.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Oh you're happy for her.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
I'm really not sure why she hates me so badly,
but I'm.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Okay, all right, okay, interesting, Yeah, I have I got
a question. Yeah, as a restaurant, you want to do
a food drop for Keats, always with a food drop
from the producer, Always with the food drop. Yeah, congratulations, Carrie,
You've got yourself six weeks severance. I'm tired to get fired.
