Speaker 1 (00:01):
And now the Hollywood Hamilton Show and the KTU Morning
Crew presents War of the Roses.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
So is she settled down yet?

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Or is she I've been trying to talk to her
the commerd down.

Speaker 4 (00:11):
You're a little uh all right, line on line.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
What's your name?

Speaker 3 (00:16):
It's Danielle, Oh, Danielle.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Honestly, I need to just get this off my chest
because I've been this relationship for three years. We were
dating casually for a year before that. Okay, this has
been too long and he will not propose. He either
needs to commit or he needs to leave. He's always
got something going on. He wants a better job, he
wants a better car, he wants to be able to
afford a better wedding for one. Okay, I don't want

(00:39):
a boyfriend. I want to I want a husband. I
want a house and a ring on my finger. And
I feel like he's not the one that's.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Going to be me.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
After three years.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Whoa whoa, whoa whoa whoa whoa.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
We lived together in an apartment Like what's next, Oh, boyfriend?
I want a husband. This is not real commitment. I
want to ring. Okay, this is either this relationship is
going to continue or it's going to stop.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
He's committed with you in this relationship, and he said
he committed with me.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
He tells me, he tells me that he loves me.
He tells me that the ring is coming, that he
just wants to save up and make sure it's a
nice ring. And I try to tell him there's always
going to be problems, there's always going to be things.
We got to submit to each other and then take
on a plate together. It doesn't matter if you have
a nice car, like I'm obviously not with him because
of a car and money. I take my own money.

(01:29):
If you want to partner, I want him to get
off the pot, yes.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Okay, I want him to or get off the pot.
Okay in under a minute. Okay, like it would.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
If he just told me to lead.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Oh God, get him on the phone. Let's get him
on the phone. Cart Let's see if we can help him.
Maybe we can help him take this last step with you.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
At this point, I feel like he's got another wife
or something, because why won't you just make me your wife?

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Hello? Hi, I'm calling for Carlos. Is he hi, Carlos?
How are you today? My name is Marie and I'm
calling from Redroses dot com. We have some flowers for you,
and I just need to confirm some information. Do you
have a minute.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Who's sending me roses?

Speaker 3 (02:22):
We're a local company here in the area, and as
a promotional vehicle, we thought of this idea of getting
names and randomly picking them and calling the person and saying, Hey,
would you like to have these free roses? For these
free roses, if you could just talk about us on
your social media Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, that kind of thing.

(02:45):
So do you think you could help us out?

Speaker 1 (02:48):
So you're in the Bronx, Yeah, so could we get.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
You to help us out, just sort of help spread
the word about our business. We'd really appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
I don't understand. So I mean I get at your
news store. I mean, I mean, what do you need
for me? I don't have a lot of money to
just be spending on roses.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
No, no, no, this is not going to cost you anything.
And in exchange for these free flowers, we would just
like you to kind of spread the word about our
business that we're here, we're open, we're a great company,
that kind of thing. We would just love to have
your support, OK.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
I get it, Like a customer testimonial exactly.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
And these flowers are free. So do you have anybody
that you'd like to send these roses to?

Speaker 2 (03:31):
How are they being shipped for the package or vive?

Speaker 3 (03:35):
Okay, wrapped? Yeah, they're in a beautiful crystal vase and
we can ship them anywhere, even international.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
How many days does it take approximately for these flowers
to be delivered once we finalize everything.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Well, it depends on the area. If they are local,
I might be able to get it same day. If
not today, definitely tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Oh okay. Huh are these flowers freshly cut? Are they
cut vertically? Are they cut hoarmizontally? Because you know they
last longer if you cut an angle.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
That is a great question. They are cut horizontally like
at an angle?

Speaker 2 (04:14):
The plant food or do I have to buy a
plant food?

Speaker 3 (04:18):
No, they they'll be the water will have the special
food in it. And we also include.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
You with water. Oh, that's because that might be difficult.
Are we going to have a card that goes we
are okay? And who's going to be writing on the card?
Is it printed? Is it from a template on the computer?
Somebody gonna handwrite? We will handwriting?

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Well, that also is a really great question.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
You can't even just say where to send the flowers?
He just asked questions about.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
Can you blame Danielle Daniell.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
This guy would have gone off for another hour on questions,
but he was asked very legit.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
I know, I know horizontally, where did you ever see
a bronically? Carlos? Can you hear me? I'm here, I.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Don't know what's going on. I just close breath.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
I'm literally exhausted. I need to go take a nap
right now. I need to go sleep a lot, a lot.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
I just wanted to know how they were going to
get to you. That's how they're gonna get to me.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Okay, yeah, buy a carryer pigeon. Okay. When she said
where do you want to send the flowers?

Speaker 2 (05:29):
What was going to Okay? I am completely lost? Just okay,
someone you can explain this, please, all.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
Right, Carlos, let me explain what's happening. My name is
Sean Hamilton, Hollywood Hamilton. I'm with a radio station in
New York. Here wy k t you. You're on something
called War of the Roses. Your your your girlfriend of
three years.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
She's on a mission.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
So basically Carlos, this is my last effort to get
you to propose or go. If you're not going to
come in, I am done with you. I am so
done with this.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
She know you guys dated for a year. Then she
said that you guys decided for the that you wanted
to be in a committed relationship. So now you've been
in a committed relationship for three years. I understand you're
also so are you any closer to proposing, Carlos at all?

Speaker 2 (06:21):
I'll be honest with you. I am thinking about it.
Maybe the holidays. I'm trying to do something.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
At this stage. Every time you've been down to tide
your shoe, I'm waiting for a ring. There's nothing more
obvious about it.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
I have been looking at some rings. It's just there's
so many options, and that's nice. There's three cuts to
choose from that are very popular. Not like this solitaire cut,
emerald cut. You could go pear shape, But then I
have to think. Once I decide on the shape the cut,
and I have to think about the box, we won't be.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
Does I think Carlos should really continue to take his time,
I really do. I think he should take his time
and really think about his decisions a little bit mark.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
To you Well. That call originally aired almost four months ago,
and four months later, after talking to Danielle last night,
Carlos has still not asked Danielle to marry him.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
So she told us. Not much of an.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
Update here, not much of an update at all, but
she told us last night that she's going to give
him until January first. If he does not proposed by
January first, she is going to leave him. She's just
gonna up and leave. And and she told him and
he has been warned. That is basically the update. And
by the way, she thinks Carlos is not cheating, not

(07:42):
seeing anybody else, but for some reason, he's got cold feet,
and we think we all know what.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
That reason is.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
And all new, brand new season of War the Roses
begins this Monday, Monday morning, seven point forty, riding round
Kate to You with the crew whom

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
